Not really much when it comes to the menu variety but cocktails are good. Staff are amazing and attentive. Cocktails are strong and Mai Tai’s are good

Great place for brunch and dinner. Amazing view to catch a sunrise or sunset. We got to try a breakfast omelet, and some chilaquiles both taste great as well as the mimosas they have a couple of flavors available i had the chance to try 4 different flavors and they were all delicious. For dinner, we had a seafood pasta and was just amazed at the great taste of it, definitely a 1st choice for us. The location might be a little hidden. its on the top floor of the building. You can either take the stairs or the elevator to reach the location.

The food is good here but it’s not going to wow you. We stopped here our first night in town because they have a great view being on the second story of the building. The drinks are strong.

Walk in to a volcano with lava hot Happy hour 2-5pm, 1/2 price apps and $5 mai tai, margaritas and $3-$5 beers. Ambience is my favorite of all the place I have been to in the area, lots of spots to take selfies. Tried the apps loved the crab css as is and quesadillas. Breakfast has $3 mimosas and they are known for their food!Service was quick and friendly. Must check out this placeBartender Glen was the best

My family and o thoroughly enjoyed this spot. The wings melted right off the bone, the main courses were all great, and the cocktails were as good as the beers on tap (top notch). Great atmosphere, with some lovely scenery overlooking the beach with some palm trees or some hip neon lighting on the bar side. Service was also top notch. We’ll be back!

If you like an open air island concept, this is for you! (We loved it)Definitely makes you feel right where you are with a slice of the coast and tropical breeze the whole time.Service is very friendly and adequate. We went during dinner, but if you want to party, stay a little later! Great bar vibe.The food was tasty, and the portions were great. There is an Argentine fusion in some of the dishes to make it stand out. Even though its simple, we loved the Lava Fries with a chimichurri sauce that packs just the right amount of flavor and a little heat.The ribs fell off the bone, as they should. Fish tacos had a fresh and tasty salsa. Local favorite Kalua Pork and cabbage was juicy and just right, and if you like lobster you cant beat the price of twin tails with shrimp!I saw several steaks go out....a must for next time. Served on a hot sizzling plate.Avoid the chicken, it looked like chicken strips, battered and fried. Not real meat.Overall, WONDERFUL.

Our waitress took forever to wait on us and it wasnt very busy at the time.The ahi tacos had a weird taste. I was a little worried it was bad, which is scary with raw food. The ribs were pretty good.The bright spot was the view and the pork quesadillas which were delicious.

The place is a bit hidden as its on second floor, but its well worth the 5 extra steps and an elevator ride or stairs. The service was very prompt and friendly. Im impatient so was pleasantly surprised when I didnt have to wait 15 minutes for my drink. Portion sizes are good, but not excessive. Ask for Mari . I had Mahi on mashed potatoes and it was delicious. Dont stand in line at other places if this one is open.

$2 mimosas with food! This is the best breakfast spot on Maui with the best breakfast happy hour! We originally were going to another breakfast spot near by but they had a very long line. Lava rock bar & grill was just opening at 8am and we were the second people in line, we were seated right away and the service was quick and friendly. We only got breakfast here, but it was so good that we came back two more times for breakfast! The staff and locals here are awesome, we made friends with one of the regulars and had a great time talking with the staff as well, an amazing group of people.

I was so hungry after leaving north shore and heading back to kihei I only got a picture of 1 taco but let me say. The street tacos were better than any I have had on the mainland. Out door dining on Christmas day with outstanding Maui service. Thank you to the chef for fish and chips so hot out of the fryer they almost burnt our lips.

This place seems to be a hit or miss by reading all the reviews. We unfortunately had a miss. I asked for my burger to be well done and it was clearly not. What I could eat of it was just ok. Ive had way better burgers elsewhere for the price. Service was poor, but it was kind of busy so maybe that had something to do with it. Someone in my party had the mahi and said it was exceedingly fishy tasting like it was on the verge of turning. The fried chicken strips were soggy. The drinks are tasty, but are very weak. For $13 each I expected more than a glass of juice. I would save your money and go elsewhere, even a fast food joint. You can get juice there too.

We had a great lunch at the Lava Rock Bar and Grill. The Ahi was some of the freshest on the island and the sesame seaweed salad was flavorful and complimentary. My wife enjoyed the loaded fries with aioli. My father-in-law had the barbeque wings.The drinks were beautiful and paired well with the meal. Great atmosphere and service. Isobel was friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

I almost missed this restaurant. I actually found it by accident because the one downstairs had a 45 minute wait. I am so glad that we went here the food was awesome. I had the no meat sausage entree and it was delicious love the vegetables love the way the fake meat was cooked its a great restaurant for vegetarians! my friend had the French onion soup and said it was delicious as her appetizer and for her main meal got a poke bowl and loved it. the thing that is killer is the view!!! Great place to be able to watch the sunset. they have a huge bar and pool tables that are inside the building and the outside patio area is where you can watch the sunset. Im guessing its a really hopping place on the weekend because they have a huge dance floor DJ booth speakers etc in and around the bar area. I was worried it was just going to be bar food but the menu is really great and the food was delicious. theres an elevator to get to the second floor or stairs. the wait staff was a little slow because there were quite a few people that all showed up at the same time. at the same time the wait staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu and had a great attitude!!! I recommend this place for anybody who wants good poke bowls vegetarian meal or their specialty steak. its actually cooked and then brought to you to finish cooking on a lava rock. hence the name lava rock. Enjoy!

Best breakfast/lunch on this side of Maui!! The food was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to check out their dinners, but if it’s anything like their earlier day food, I’m sure it’s great. Also, the view is amazing!! Ocean on one side, mountains on the other. You won’t regret checking this place out! :)

We were really disappointed with the food and drinks at Lava Rock. With the exception of the fish and chips, which were very good, the other food was bland. We ordered the platter that contained ribs, coconut shrimp, and chicken tenders…all very bland. My husband ordered a pina colada that was watered down. They replaced it but it still wasn’t good.Our waitress was friendly and very sweet. The place is clean and has great views.

One of our favorite restaurants on the island and definitely our Go-To place in Kehei! The twin lobster tails and shrimp entree is always my favorite and never disappoints. The price point is probably the best on the island for 2 lobster tails, large sautéed shrimp, grilled veggies, and mashed potatoes, for $37. Similar plates at other restaurants on the island average around $65 or more. Super yummy and worth the try!

We ate here twice while visiting Maui, and we loved it! The first time we stumbled onto this place while looking for breakfast without a long wait. We loved it so much we had to come back another day for lunch- which was even better. Highly recommend!

We got a table out on the covered patio and it was a great option to enjoy the breeze and watch the sunset. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and she recommended some great drink options. We started off with Lava Flows and they were fantastic! I also got mahi mahi tacos, which were delicious!

Two stars only for the location overlooking the ocean at sunset. My wife and I went to the Lava Rock Bar and Grill for dinner on New Years Eve and sadly I have to say it was the worst dining experience since weve been visiting Maui. The food was mediocre at best (overcooked chicken and undercooked vegetables but the flavor was OK) and the service was horrendous. We felt as though they purposely provided bad service and that we were avoided and made to wait. The bartender served everyone else at the bar, chatted with other staff waiting on drinks, watched the football game plays, and went to the kitchen for ice before serving us, while we stood at the bar waiting. During our visit the bar was no more than half full and there were no less than 3 tables open the entire time we ate yet they wouldnt seat us for a 5:30pm meal. My wife also mentioned upon returning from the restroom that she seen a restaurant employee in the rest room come out of a stall and not wash her hands when returning to work.

We were here for a week and Lava Rock was definitely our favorite, the food was great! We went early and late lunch and service was always great. You can make reservations but if it’s just 2 people u don’t have too. We had Eggs Benedict, huevos Rancheros. Lunch we had Lava fries, coconut shrimp, and the dynamite shrimp. It was all fantastic!

- [ ] We were seated at a table that was so sticky you didn’t want to touch it and you couldn’t lean on it for fear it would break. First round of drinks took 25 mins. Despite only 6 other occupied tables. One of our party finally went in to complain. Second round was so watered down we sent them back. Only one server and stretched to the limit and so rude. Finally we asked for the manager, and lo and behold the active manager that night was our server. She explained someone had to be let go that evening and everyone was stressed. While she was apologetic for the service her attitude said otherwise. We had hoped to go back for breakfast in the morning, but the person in our party that had complained became ill after dinner. I’m sure it wasn’t connected. Sorry it was such a poor way to spend our last night on the island. We had several wonderful dinners 10 years ago on our honeymoon. Cute place, could have turned out so much better.

This place is awesome!!! The food was great and the service was great. Misha the manager was super amazing and friendly. If your on the island you definitely want to go there. Thanks to all the staff!

AVOID! Second time in 1 month I have been served undercooked food and waited over an hour for service. I sent my burger back because it was still raw, and stone cold inside….they threw it in the microwave and it was still cold. Did not eat it, will most likely get sick…biggest waste of money on island. AVOID!!!!

What a fantastic place. We ended up here on a whim, we didn’t actually see it was open air and ocean view until we got here. Amazing location, great food and decent prices. I don’t drink Mimosas, but if I did, $2 all day til 2pm… DO IT!!!We had the lunch bowl with poke, pork and chicken. The pork and poke are great, the chicken was just ok, but as a combo, it can’t be beat!

Outdated and definitely needing some love and attention to detail for overall aesthetic and detail. Restaurant seating outside is decent though it faces a parking lot/dumpster. Inside is dark and feels like a 90’s dive bar. Food was alright for what it was and drinks were average. Server was great as was service. The chain itself needs to give this place a face lift.

Ate the chilaquiles and they were so good !! )(Side note I’m Mexican) they were a little spicy but good spicy ! Also had the lava pancakes and they taste very homemade ! The service way amazing!

I stayed in Kihei for 6 weeks and ate here all the time. Loved this place! All the bar tenders and staff were very cool and friendly. Great happy hour food specials too. Half off all appetizers from 3-6 amd drink specials too. The pork here is good so if you get a nacho or quesadilla add some pork. Loved the fried pickles too. Oh, and the Loco Moco was good too!!! I head back in just over a week and Im looking forward to getting back there. Check this place out if you are in town.

Food: I was not a fan of the quality of the steak, but the flavor was ok. I did however enjoy my husbands plate more-the teriyaki trio-that was delicious. Another in our party, contrary to me, loved the steak and her husband loved the fajitas. Overall great food…more preference on my part.Location: it’s on the 2nd floor with the windows open and a bar in the center, nice atmosphere and centrally located.Service: the girl at the host stand was very sweet and accommodated us without a reservation. Our server at the beginning was not warm and friendly, seemed rushed and almost bothered to have our table. He made no menu suggestions, didn’t talk much and seemed to just want our order and be done with us. Towards the end he warmed up some and seemed a little more pleasant. We all agreed that this was the first place we visited in Maui that didn’t have the “welcome, relaxed, laid back feel” unfortunately. Just seemed off compared to all the other places we visited.I rated 4 stars because everything else was great just a bumpy start with the server - maybe he was having a bad day 🤷🏻‍♀️.If you are in Kihei - give it a try, should be a good meal and time in the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Don’t be fooled by the lies. We had excellent service from Maria and Louis. The Happy Hour drinks and food were also great! Great value. We had $5 margaritas, caprese salad and katsu chicken. All appetizers are 50%off 2-5pm The atmosphere is so nice because it’s upstairs so you can see the ocean and get a great breeze coming through. It’s a great casual place for lunch or HH. We will come back to try some more menu items.

So highly disappointed. Made reservations for 6:15 and it’s now 8:26 p.m. still waiting for appetizers. Food came out at all different times some people are done eating some haven’t received their appetizers yet. Crazy and instead of apologizing the hostess has been out a few times showing the receipts of when the order was placed. That is irrelevant as we didn’t control when the order was typed in. Some of the food was cold. The lobster was rubbery. I feel this is bad business to act like we did anything wrong. The steak wasn’t cooked right. They tried to bring appetizers just now AFTER we ate the main course. Someone was missing their side and asked waitress and she said she’d bring it and never did! Just the drink refills took 1.5 hours. Come on do better, there are plenty of other places to eat in this town.

Came here for my best friend’s after wedding brunch.Lots of tasty cocktails, food, and fun atmosphere. We all sat outside on the rooftop covered patio which was airy and awesome. You can see the water from there too.Drinks were all delicious. My friends ordered Bloody Marys and Marias, they were over the top loaded with all kinds of fixings.Lots of menu items to choose from, most Vegetarian but Vegans will have a hard time finding something here.I got the vegetable fajitas and they were ok. Large portion, but was heavy on the onion and bell pepper with a weak amount of sliced mushrooms.Everyone else was happy with their seafood and burger entrees.Our waitress was awesome to say the least. Had a lot of fun with her.

Went here for breakfast, lunch, and got a late night dessert. Breakfast is great since theyll ply you with mimosa after mimosa, and theyre actually pretty good!I had the Hawaiian scramble and French toast. The toast was a bit of a miss, and the scrambles cheese was totally unmelted, and could have been jazzed up with more spices. Some Chilula sauce fixed that though. Overall the lunch options may be the best. Got a steak dish that was melt in your mouth delicious. At night, got the molten lava cake, which was fine but not very molten.

While not right on the water, this place has a nice view from the deck. My friend and I got a seat right on the view side and got to see a gorgeous sunset. I got the poke nachos, and they were really good.

Had an awesome time at this spot for brunch! Not a big breakfast eater anyway but had a great time and food was really good. Eggs Benedict, bloody Mary fully loaded, and Mamosa‘s. I had to try the mall Lilikoi was the best.

Marianne was the perfect waitress! And the food was to die for!! Three of us ordered lava cake, best cake we’ve ever had🎄🎄🎄🌴🌴🌴 perfect choice for our Christmas Eve dinner!!

Ordered Fish and Chips which were awful. The fish was “ off” and when I told the server he was less than concerned. Bathrooms were dirty which should have been a sign of things to come. Every other meal in Maui has been outstanding so very disappointed. More in the lack of concern for possible bad fish than anything else. So maybe go somewhere else 🤷‍♀️

Ordered a Lava flow, and the Bartender made it completely wrong. He didnt even use coconut rum, or cream of coconut. It had the consistency of a margarita, not a creamy beverage. Way too much strawberry sauce (the kind you put on an ice cream sundae), and he rimmed it with rancid toasted coconut. He gave us attitude when we politely asked for a beer instead and still charged us the $16 for the barely touched disaster. Not to mention, he sang along to country songs the entire time. Never going back.

Paz was absolutely amazing the food was so good and the service was better... employees like that are extremely hard to come by!!! The prices 100% reasonable will definitely return!!!

Fantastic brunch, reasonably priced for Maui! First, they have $2 (orange) and $2.50 mimosas (tropical fruit flavors). Theyre not juice with a splash of alcohol for taste either, theyre true mimosas!Food is excellent and reasonably priced for the area. I had the pork Loco moco and my fiance had the country fried chicken. Huge portions and delicious!We went here as Kihei Cafe was packed, and its literally right behind them. I highly recommend skipping the line for Kihei and coming here instead! Beautiful views on the outside seating area too!

The waitress Mariane was amazing! She was sooo nice to us, and super helpful! The food was really good as well. Fun environment!

Service- drinks sat Without refills for 20 minsAppetizer of fried pickles took 20 mins to come out, food was out less than 5 mins after appetizers. Waiter never checked after taking order, until flagged down for more drinks.Location- this is the saving grace, had a good view and open air seating.Fried Pickles- breading was similar to that of an egg roll, pickles were also burnt inside . Kosher pickles- not a big deal but just an FYIChicken Fajitas- very little flavoring and most of the plate was filled with bell peppers, guacamole was 1 of 10.Volcano Trio- advertised as Fried Chicken- was actually chicken tenders, ribs were mediocre most comparable to applebees, coconut shrimp was basic(but was the best thing on the plate)

Been coming here pretty often during my time on Maui. They have the best breakfast. I love their papaya parfait. It super fresh and definitely a healthy maui breakfast. I typically will also get bacon and maybe egg whites. It super affordable and I really like the location because its right across from the beach. I hear this place is also good for nightlife so Ill definitely be back to experience the sunset and dj.

I had the Luau Bowl and Lori had the Fish Tacos. With Mai Tais of course! We just missed the happy hour, but thats not always a bad thing. Weve noticed that a lot of bars skimp on the booze during happy hour - go figure. Anyway our drinks were great! Among the pricier in Kihei, but Id say worth it. We both really enjoyed our meals. Id never had poke before, and it was included in the bowl I had, which was very delicious. The service was really friendly, and even though it wasnt super fast I thought the wait was reasonable. The ambience is nice, and if you get there in time for sunset youll get a great view through the palm trees. This place is definitely worth going back to!

I’ll start off by agreeing with others that the service could be improved here; they need to keep the bar servers separate from the patio servers, and maybe have one or two more workers. But the food was very good, we had two breakfasts here since they open early and it wasn’t busy. We had dinner here once and it was busy on the patio, which is a great place to stay out of the rain, plus enjoy the sunset. We had fish and chips; fish was a home run but the chips were like they came out of a McCain bag, nothing special. Also had the chicken chimichurri, and it was definitely great. Prices are good.

This place is awesome I love coming here for breakfast! They open early 8am which is great for my east coast time zone when I visit (I come here every time!) The staff is very friendly and they have a great happy hour too (love the nachos)….Plus a breezy 2nd floor patio with a view! Cheers (yes I drink delicious guava mimosas at 8am;)

I prefer this place for breakfast than any other. Food is plentiful, affordable, and not a bunch of annoying tourists in the AM. And the staff is sooooooo nice I even made friends with one of them and told me of some good local spots.

To start; the food was fairly good. It was cooked well and the steak sandwich was well constructed. However, I’ve read previous reviews about the lack in quality of service. Now, the service was great, the servers worked hard. They were unstaffed on a Tuesday night. This is managements fault. Hey management, figure out how to staff your restaurant and less on promotion for drinks on “game day.”

If you want to feel like a loved local, come here! This pace has amazing specials, awesome staff, and real locals that make you feel like Maui is home. If we lived here, this would be our spot :)

I tried the Luau plate and the burger.The Luau plate I would not recommend. It is way too salty. Barely edible, ended up not eating after a few bites.The burger was pretty good but not the best in the area. If you’re looking to chill at a bar, this may be a good spot but for food probably not the best choice.

Super fun place. Has entertainment, pool tables, dance floor, best views of Kihei & sun set. Also TVs have all sports available to watch & super nice bar tenders with huge bar. Love atmosphere..great art work displayed all around too! Food is pretty good also... Need to just try more before I can leave more review on the cuisine..

This was a good meal, I ordered the shrimp fajitas and they were decent but nothing particularly outstanding. The staff and atmosphere of the restaurant were both nice.

I can’t say enough how amazing the food, the service and atmosphere was! We had to come back twice! Happy Hour is definitely a must!!

Walked in last night. It was SO loud even the bar tender could not hear me until I leaned across the bar and yelled, what beers do you have on tap. He was pretty rude, there were 6 people inside, and we couldnt gear ourselves think. Wont ever go back.

Lava rock was one of our favorite bars in Kihei! Sunshine, the hostess, was great. She welcomed us with a huge smile, got us settled at our table, and even cracked a joke. Lucas, our sever, was on top of it. We had a party of 20 that all arrived at different times and he was attentive and made sure everyone had full drinks all night long. The food is great, but the happy hour deals are even better! Dont miss stopping at Lava Rock if you need a good atmosphere and awesome service.

Had dinner here prior to watching the sunset from the park across the street. Food was awesome! Service was great! The view of the ocean really set the mood. Will definitely be back!

Lava Rock restaurant is a wonderful place to eat. Their Lava Mary is awesome. My family and I have tried their breakfast and lunch menu. Both times were great with a excellent selection of food to choose from.

2 of us were seated by Chelsea. She was so friendly and personable even though it was busy. I had asked for a rail table. They were all full but she said shed keep an eye and move us if one opened up. The view was incredible, the $3 mimosa was delicious, and the food was standard but good. Would definitely eat here again and recommend this place and special thanks to Chelsea for being such a great server.

Food was good, first we ate at off of the plane, will have to come back in the evening when its more lively for the full experience.

Solid restaurant experience. The views are pretty awesome and the food and drinks are fine. We were here for lunch and there was plenty of seating.

Very hearty portions and well worth the money! Skillet is easily a meal for two or great to take home for leftovers. Many options for mimosas and the bloody mary is very good and such a value! A lot of fixings and tasted great!

It took us 2 hours to have a drink and pub food. Food was just ok, but the kitchen was absolutely ridiculous for how slow it was. Our server was great and kept checking in and apologizing but the place wasn’t even busy for how slow they were.

Today I pass in this place after I had a stressful night in the airport of Hawaii, but I had a wonderful time and great breakfast with mimosas at 1 dollars each and a nice drink! Super cheap and Joseph the server was amazing! This place for sure I come back to visit

Had a great dinner here during happy hour. Beautiful ocean views on their large patio and everything we ordered was so delicious! We got the chicken quesadilla, nachos, calamari, and coconut shrimp (my favorite!) The Mai Thais were strong and yummy and service was quick. Cant wait to try out more items on the menu!

We went to the Lava Rock during our Honeymoon and we were incredibly impressed by the ambiance and food! When you walk in it feels like any other sports bar in America, but once you get to the outdoor seating that overlooks the beach in Kihei and get a taste of their food, it supersedes most of the restaurants we visited in Maui! Great food! Great service! Great prices! Had the fish tacos and the teriyaki bowl! Also who doesn’t love mimosas for $2 before 2:00 pm every day! Thanks for a great meal!

Tyler was fantastic! He took great care of us on our honeymoon. Food was amazing too. The Hawaiian eggs Benedict was delicious. Hands down would come here again.

Bartender stopped talking to us abruptly when we said we were waiting for a table even tho we couldve closed our checks out beforehand if that was the concern. Got our table and sat for well over 10 minutes with no acknowledgement. Someone finally came to the table after we got up and left. I have sympathy for short staff and Ive worked restaurant for years. These people truly felt like they didnt care if we were there or not. Other places deserve your business.

Reservations are needed to be seated in the dining room, even if more than 50% of tables will sit empty. Proteins were decent, drinks / starches / veg were nothing to write home about. Staff were friendly but overall I wouldn’t recommend.

Waited over ten minutes after being sat down in a half full restaurant. Our server walked past us 5 times without even acknowledging us. We heard people beside us complaining about the food. The staff seemed untrained. Went over to three’s. It was packed within 1 minute of arriving our server walked past saying “I’ll be right with you”. Lava rock has the feel of a restaurant without a manager who cares.

My husband and I went here for their happy hour. We ordered mai tai’s and their two shrimp appetizer dishes. Their dynamite shrimp is fantastic and exceeded my expectations. If I was to visit Maui again I would stop here just for that. Their Mai Tai was ok. It is what I would expect for this type of place.

Here for a week and we came here three different times! Service, food and atmosphere was great. Sunshine made me feel so special and gave me the last Lei of my trip. She is truly the sunshine of Lava Rock. We can’t wait to come back☀️🤙🏼

This is a hidden gem of the breakfast scene in Kihei. The entrance is a bit behind the Kihei Cafe, which always has a huge line. We bypassed the line, went up the steps and were seated at the edge of a patio with the best view of the ocean weve had in a restaurant so far. $2.50 specialty mimosas to start, and the tropical pancakes, and we were ready to nap on the beach, which is a short walk across the street. We pretty much had the place to ourselves at 9am.

The lower 4.0 rating surprised us. Went here for breakfast and had the Loco Moco. It was bomb! The Strawberry mimosa was so gooood! Recommend over the classic orange! My bf got huevos rancheros and it was delicious. The service was great and fast. Love the location and the atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Really good service (I also went during a slow time). You have a wonderful view and a huge lanai to sit out on while you eat. The inside is more like a sports bar and has pool tables. I got the loco moco with kalua pork and it was delicious! My husband got the fruit crepe and it was huge! Burrito sized huge. Ill definitely go back next time Im in maui. Their kalua pork is excellent.

Saw this on the Maui Happy Hours app. I came in for biscuits and gravy and guava mimosas. Both were fantastic and I recommend sitting on the ocean side with the great view. This place is on the 2nd floor so the view of sunset was fantastic. Also this place turns into a nightlife venue/dance club at night if youre into that.

Ok, get the Bloody Mary. It’s worth going just for that. Really great staff that we’re doing their best during Covid. The signs are hilarious so tip well.

The food was amazing! I shared a Lavarock steak meal with my mom. The steak was seasoned well and made the steak so flavorful! I would definitely recommend this place.

Wow this place was ridiculous. They had one woman working a bar full of people who were watching a college football game, so once we got our first round of drinks we never saw her again. We had to pay for our beer with the hostess before leaving to go find another place to chill and eat. Other patrons were rude and this place is kind of a dump. Do not recommend.

Take the elevator, you cant miss it. The food was decent, but the service was lacking and our order was wrong. Our food came out after two tables that were seated after us; it seemed like an hour. We were there for a long time for not much.

They changed happy hour times so we missed it my minutes. When we told them it was posted as 3-6 they just shrugged. Very disappointed and found prices went up so again disappointed

I called in an order for pick-up while in Kihei the other day, and it was seriously the best food of the trip! I ordered the Luau Trio plate, and it was delicious, way better than spending $100 to really attend a Luau. The fried pickles may have been the best Ive ever had, I want to see the cucumbers they use to make those pickles because they must be giant. The quesadilla was yummy, and the molten lava cake was bomb.

Location is great with a nice outdoor dining area. Our server was terrible, took fifteen minutes to even acknowledge our arrival (it was not busy, I dont know where he was or what he was doing), after taking our drink order and only bringing out half of it, we had to remind him about the other three people who had drink requests.The jalapeno poppers were great, but our blackened mahi fish tacos were not blackened and had some pieces of spoiled fish. It comes with two tacos and my first one was fine, but the second taco had some awful spoiled fish in it. The same happened to another person in my party.... I left the Taco with one bite taken out of it and the waiter never bothered to ask or notice if there was a problem, he never actually asked if our food was ok at all because we didnt see him after he finally brought our drinks out until and he took our food order.The next time we see him he brings our check and lets us know theres an automatic 18% gratuity since our party was eight people. I understand that, but it suddenly made our awful service make sense. I would have tipped 25% for good service and he missed opportunities to sell us more drinks or desserts because he didnt even bother to ask.

My wife and sister-in-laws food was incredible. Mine on the other hand was less than desirable. The food my wife and sister-in-law ordered arrived 25 minutes before mine did. When I finally got it the fish contained the fat line and it was so overpowering it was inedible. Our waitress Chelsea was awesome though she made it right for us.

This place was great for us 2 years ago, we had an amazing time with great service, good food and the spectacular view, so we wanted to return. We went for Xmas eve dinner this year, and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. The wait staff was extremely slow, we had to rely on the very helpful hostess to assist us with getting things like dip that was missing from our meals and reminders for drink orders that just didnt make it out to us. Our waitress was very unattentive and rarely checked in, and did not deliver on a single drink order. Thankfully, we were offered 50% off our bill at the end, but in the end the damage was done, xmas eve is only one night of the year. The food was also not as good as 2 years ago, not sure what changed but it wasnt as good. Too bad as this place has one of the best views for any pub in Kihei.

Lots of space, its on the second (or third?) Floor, there is an elevator if you dont want to or cannot use the stairs. The servers are really attentive, the food was good for breakfast. The bloody mary was awesome, deffinately get more shrimp on the side you wont regret it.

We were recommended to try out Lava Rock Bar & Grill. For Hawaii the food wasnt that great. I live in Texas and it tasted like all the other bar and grills back home. My father got ribs and they masked the dryness of the ribs by dumping a bunch of sauce on them. My brothers, moms, and my food were good, but nothing to die for. I wouldnt go back again. On the other hand, the service was phenomenal. Our server constantly checked in on us, was always clearing plates, and refilling drinks. They have great deals on appetizers and alcoholic beverages I believe between 3pm-6pm. Lastly, there is minimal seating inside and it is loud inside. If you dont mind the outdoors, thats where youll probably end up sitting.

Great view from the outside patio. Had a refreshing frozen drink and the kalua pork sando. Drink was refreshing and sando was delicious. The flavor was expansive, they add cucumber which adds a nice crunch. Wife didnt care for the bar smell that would sneak out from the inside with a wind gust. Server was awesome, great location, good tunes.

Our server, Lucas V, was fantastic!!!! So friendly, accommodating, and great sense of humor. I haven’t come across a more perfect server! And the food, was great! We had the New York steak, burgers, fish tacos, and the mocktail lava flows. Everyone was so pleased with their meals. I highly recommend this place. The restaurant had a cool vibe too.

One of the worst dining experiences ever. They gave us one single menu for our table of four. Took a very long time to come and take our orders and waited an hour for the food to come out cold and soggy. Many others were seated after us and received their food before ours. It seems as if we were forgotten about completely.When the waitress, Ivory, gave us condiments and assured us our food would be out soon, (spoiler: it wasn’t) she didn’t even bother to refill our waters or even ask. No apologies or even an acknowledgment for the annoyingly long wait time. Spilled water on my chair when she finally brought out the food and refilled the water.No checkups to see if we were enjoying our meal or for another water refill. Water glasses smelled of nasty egg/milk smell. No offer to compensate us in any way for waiting so long for awful food.We were fighting off termites all over the table while waiting for the food. The owners probably don’t even read these reviews nor care but this was our first and very last time here. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Just go to Kihei Cafe for breakfast or freaking Taco Bell.P.S. Bathrooms have a HUGE gap so you can see anyone walking by and they can see you. Guess the drunkards at night may not care but awful for a breakfast spot.

Excellent happy hour! Food is very high quality for the offering. If you’re lucky they will still have some empanadas left. The poke nachos and the kalua pork quesadilla are outstanding. Nice upstairs venue overlooking a park and the ocean.

Fish was rotten, prawns were inedible. Everything tasted frozen and reheated. Total bill was 80 for two people. Avoid at all costs.

I ate here on February 15 2022, on the exterior porch, and I was thoroughly impressed. My expectations were exceeded in every way. Our waiter was very friendly and, more importantly, knew his menu! When we asked his opinion on two dishes his response was quick and confident and his suggested food and drinks were excellent. The food we ordered, dynamite tempura shrimp, poke nachos, blackened fish tacos, and a steak fajita, was all excellent and to be honest probably beat out the restaurant I ate at the night before that was more then double the price. The 2.5$ mimosas were particularly enjoyable as we had our waiter chose the flavors and then tried to guess what we got. Overall a supremely enjoyable experience. Good food, beer, drinks, and atmosphere. 5 stars with ease.

Nine of us went yesterday for apps and beverages. They were so accommodating with our group and of course the drinks were yummy. The lava flows, piña colada, and all the other beverages or delicious. Jacinta was gracious and patient and checked in on us frequently. Of course, the cool breeze was most welcoming!

Mainly go here for the Sesame Ahi. One of my favorite things around the island. Its half price during happy hour from 3-6

I’ve only left one other bad review ever and I eat out a lot. We arrived at 5:30, plenty of time to get in on happy hour. The restaurant was not crowded, so no excuse for the slowness. We were seated at 5:50, and told the waiter that we wanted happy hour items in addition to our meal, so maybe we could get that order in please. He did, then we waited for another half hour to get our food. It was tasty, but the lobster and spinach dip came with about a dozen chips. We asked for more chips and got about dozen more for an extra $2. When we got the bill, we weren’t given the happy hour prices on anything. No one was rude, but extremely inefficient and slow, slow, slow. And with sticking it to us on the bill, we will not be back, nor will we recommend this place to anyone else.

This place had amazing food! Their service was a little slow but the staff were definitely running around and doing their best. Highly recommend the crab cakes! They melt in mouth. We had the mahi mahi and it was awesome. Amazing food all around. Drinks are awesome, we had the hawaiian mule and watermelon mint, both perfection. Great atmosphere, perfect date night spot that is on the rooftop with beautiful views.

Our utensils had food stuck on them. Asked for new sets and every set was dirty. Poor waitress finally went and washed some by hand. Waitress was extremely nice but sanitary issues at this place are unacceptable.

My wife and I were looking for a nice sit down meal. After online research, we selected this place. When we got there, we were very disappointed. It was loud, the chairs were uncomfortable, and we were only given one menu. After a bit, the waiter came by and I asked for a second menu. He turned away without saying anything He was gone for a bit and then walked by quickly and dropped it on his way. He did not come back for a few minutes.This place was not what I felt was advertised on its menu. We did not stay to order. But, our first impression was a dive bar/grill with a snooty server. We left and found a great place elsewhere

Great location, fantastic view, friendly staffs, ample selections of foods and libations. They were a bit hectic but still get the food we ordered after a small mixed up. The food was good though the lobster tails could have use a little less cajun seasoning.

Decent beer prices and selection. Nice atmosphere. The lobster avocado dip was delicious. The wings were very disappointing. Smallest wings I have ever seen. The service was fairly decent after someone finally waited on us and it was not busy at the time. Place could use a good cleaning.

We had a fabulous experience here. The outdoor dining was lovely the on tap beer selection great! The 2-2.50 mimosas in an assortment of flavors? A steal! Had amazing dynamite shrimp perfectly cooked and breaded, lovely poke nachos. And the fish tacos were obscenely delicious. We ate our food too fast to have photos.

The hostess (Sunshine) was very personable and accommodating. The wait staff was working very hard since they were short on staff from the fires. They did a great job. The burger was delicious!

Place has a nice view, but the service was awful, our waiter took our orders and some how between writing my order and putting it in, my order vanished since I never got my food. This was likely because our waiter spent almost all his time chatting with a table and flirting then giving his instagram info to an underage girls. The kicker being they were crapping on Americans the whole time and them he couldnt take a simple order and make sure I get my food which is his only job. If you give this place a shot avoid the tall blonde waiter, the food may be good I dunno, I only got my drink which was just ok, my wife got the mahi mahi tacos, but said the sauce on them tasted like miracle whip, which didnt sound appealing to me.

Went here for breakfast rather than waiting in the two hour line next door. Got a table immediately with an ocean view. The staff was very cool and friendly. Our server was busy and made a couple mistakes but he made it right without us needing to ask. We all loved the food and you cant beat $2 mimosas in Maui. Would definitely go back.

It was ok. Everything tastes great if you are hungry. The food was just okay almost mediocre. I’m glad I went. After a full morning at the beach, I needed an inexpensive happy hour late lunch. The breeze kept things cool on the second floor. The restrooms were nice a clean.

Food is AMAZING. We came two days in a row for breakfast lunch and dinner. We had Joseph for breakfast and he was incredible. He suggested great drinks and food for us. We had Destiny the next day and she was also a gem. And of course Joseph still took care of us even though he wasn’t our server.10/10 recommend. Will be suggesting this place to all of our friends. And $2 mimosas every day! Loved it.

Parking was very difficult at 5:30 on a Thursday. The hostess was friendly, but service was very slow. No one talked to us for 20 minutes, and then the drinks and food came out slowly. The food quality was average.

Visited for happy hour - had good margs and mai tais. Their lobster spinach and artichoke dip was really good. Wouldn’t recommend going here if you are short on time.

This place takes care of its customers! We are regulars to this establishment and usually love the food and service. Today was our first experience having a mistake happen on our order. We notified our server Cole who immediately remedied the situation. He completely made our whole day. Its extremely rare in Maui to find an establishment that cares about their customers like they do. We will be customers for the lifetime of this gem of a restaurant. Way to go lava rock!

Got here at 9 am for breakfast and seated around 9:10. Had to get the hostess because after 20 minutes no one came to our table besides one older man with water for us. Woman came and got our order of a skillet and breakfast burrito. Did not see our food for a full hour while we watched at least 3 tables that came in after us and were leaving by that time. All those people had different servers who were on time and taking care of their tables. If you choose to go here you better hope you get a younger person as your server otherwise you might never get taken care of.

Good place to check out. Everyone enjoyed the meal and drinks. Lovely atmosphere on the outdoor patio. Only thing is to have more variety on menu, but that is consistent with most restaurants on Maui (feeding kids). I would return and we actually tried to but it was closed for some reason.

Menus and table were dirty. Cleaned myself. Had to wait 35 minutes just to place a lunch order. Lunch was not that great. Received the bill about one quarter of the way through our lunch. The tip suggests up to 30 percent. Ridiculous. If anything its 1 star. Waitress was just ok.

Came for brunch and loved it! My friends and I came here for brunch because the place in front bad too long of a line and it was a great decision. We later had the opportunity to try the other place and all agreed that we liked Lava Rock better, also is better priced! Mimosas a priced well and taste good, food was really delicious, we had a great view, all over a great place! Oh also everyone needs to try the Papaya parfait, it is phenomenal!!

Wow, what a menu! Extremely difficult with all the great options, but don’t regret a thing. Service knew all the best options, drinks were fantastic, and servers very attentive. Really got that locally owned vibe and attention to craft. Did I mention some of their plates sizzle? Goodness gracious do their hot plates stay hot!

Best breakfast on the island. I had the lava Mary with Tequila. The Loco moco of course and also the smoked salmon plate. Delightful! Megan our server was super attentive and sweet. Service was super fast and excellent! They had amazing gluten free and vegetarian options with beyond meat and everything was delicious! We came here for breakfast when the Kiehe Caffe was busy. It was a decent breakfast and the mimosas were very tasty. Our server was a jovial fun guy, who was quite charming, but wasnt very good at keeping our order straight. He ordered us one too many mimosas and we received the wrong menu item. But we were happy enough with the service and food to come back.We came again for breakfast a few days later. We were with my elderly parents and our young baby. The hostess was not friendly and quite short with us when we asked for a high chair. We waited a few minutes and noticed the hostess serving drinks and serving other customers before we received a highchair. We asked her a second time for a high chair. She continued to ignore us. Our server finally came to our table with waters. We asked him for a highchair when the hostess overhead us asking him, she piped up very loud and in a rude tone, THEY HAVE ASKED FOR A HIGH CHAIR NOW FOR THE SECOND TIME.I have never ever felt such disrespectful and rude service from a wait staff when all we wanted wad a bit of acknowledgment or eye contact. The waiter apologized and seemed embarrassed by her outburst. But at this point, we felt too uncomfortable to stay for breakfast. As we were leaving, the hostess started speaking in a condescending tone and told us to have a very nice day. It was so Loud that everyone in the restaurant heard the scene she was making and we just tried to leave as quickly as we could before my baby got upset. As we were walking down the stairs, the server from the other day, doubled down and starting YELLING at us to have a good day and to leave a review on yelp.Ive worked in the service industry for 20 years and I have never witnessed a group of servers yelling at a family because they asked for a high chair.

Waited longer than told to be seated by 30 minutes. Server was another 30 minutes to even bring us our waters and menu. I was about to get up and leave when the appetizers came out. The napkins and plates came after we finished the nachos. Food was good but was brought out a plate at a time. The whole experience felt like we where forgotten about. We got our whole family food after the longest dining experience I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place. Especially since my whole party was done eating when they brought me my plate.

Another miss here I guess. I would like to comment on the food but after an hour and a half of waiting we left. They initially did not assign a server to our table. After we asked for service, we were randomly waited on. Four parties after us ordered and ate. The nine person table that was seated directly before us that was claimed to cause issue ordered and ate before us.Another party also left without food that day as they were vocalizing to the manager when we left.I dont care for 1 star reviews but this is the first time we have just walked out of a restaurant.

We went one time and met my daughter there who was already seated. Beautiful deck with great view. Good music and fun atmosphere. It was late afternoon/happy hour so not busy at all. We had some appetizers and drinks. Service was ok and fairly quick. The fries were phenomenal, best I’ve ever had! So my husband and I tried to go back after a 12 hour day on Hana Rd. Stood at the hostess counter for a good ten minutes and were never greeted. They had maybe ten to fifteen customers. A hello would have gone a long way. How hard is it to sit someone at a table? We gave up and drove somewhere else as Threes was on a 45 minute wait. Lava probably gets lots of Spillover from Threes who was on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Too bad they don’t have the staff to take care of customers. Super disappointed as we were looking forward to trying more of their food. Tons of potential, terrible service!

Went there for breakfast. Got immediately seated by a friendly host. Had a special on $2 mimosas. They were very tasty. The food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. Additionally, you have beautiful views of the ocean.

Great place by the beach. The service was amazing and the drinks were relatively cheap. If you can get a seat on the patio it is worth it for the view. Plus nothing but good music

Where do I begin. Lets start with having to wait for our 7:30 reservation because they seated the table of four in front of us with no reservation, and then told us they had no tables and had to wait. 7:40 came around and we are finally seated! Yay, we cannot wait to get a few cocktails and enjoy some delicious food. It was our favorite place to eat last year and we couldnt wait to get back. Well that was short lived, after 20 minutes we were able to order our first round of beverages, 20 minutes later our drinks arrived, but they forgot our kids lemonade and had to wait several minutes to flag down anyone that worked there to remind them about his beverage. Finally came ordering food, it all sounded so good and we made our decisions and they were out of a couple things, but forgivable. 20-30 minutes later, waters empty, drinks empty, and no sign of our server. I finally waved down a random waitress to get some sort of service. Our next round of drinks came out quickly after this, but yet again they forgot our sons lemonade. Another 20-30 minutes go by and our food finally comes out! Yay! We are excited to dig into what we have been waiting an entire year for, only to find the seafood pasta sauce had separated and was cold. The bottom of the bowl nothing but liquified butter. My 12 oz. steak was 9 oz of gristle and inedible after the first couple of bites, The lava burger lacked any sriracha aioli and the fries were cold and undercooked. After our initial shock of disappointment, we called over our server and addressed our concerns and was met with, let me go check. 10 minutes later we were told that we would not be charged for my wifes pasta, which was great, but what about the steak? Another short 10 minutes after being there for an hour and a half, the manager comes out and we tell him what was wrong, and that we were unhappy with just about everything. He did apologize for the meal and wrote off the two meals. All in all it was a terrible experience and we will not return next year. I also feel sorry for the table of 2 that was seated before we were and still waiting for their food as we disappointedly left. However, thanks to the wonderful staff at Jack in the Box we finally had something edible to eat around 9:30. Waste of a good opportunity to enjoy some delicious food.

Ordered off Uber Eats, the order arrival time kept getting pushed later and later. After 90 minutes we called the restaurant to inquire and they said they already delivered the order to the driver. Then we were put on hold. Then we were told they aren’t on Uber Eats… So completely flip flopping on their story. Extremely misleading to be listed on there as a food provider. Very poor service, clearly management has no idea what they’re talking about. Would never order or eat there again.

The Lava Bloody Mary was delicious!Service was slow. I called in ahead to make a rest, we made it on time. Our food came out in about 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering. The waitress blames it on a big group she was serving but I dont think that justified over an hour of wait time at the table and we had a flight to catch. The food: I ordered the vegetarian skillet for $16 and it had tiny scraps of veggies and a TON of potatoes and the eggs were done incorrectly. I asked for over medium and got over easy/very runny. For the price, I wish it would have come with more vegetables and the description on the menu. The Hawaiian toast was good.I would not come back for food. Just for drinks at the bar. The bartender was fast and attentive.

Server was pretty rude, ordered coconut shrimp and she brought me poke nachos. When my diner party and myself explained to her that I didn’t order the poke nachos, she told me pretty sure that’s what I ordered, (customers always right ) after my order was fixed , food was decent .7/10. Would skip and walk around back to the gardens, tons of food trucks local and foreign delicacy’s.

We ordered four different pizzas and they were all delicious! Our waitress was the sweetest even and had no problem ringing us up separately.

This place was great, the service was absolutely fantastic. Austin was very pleasant and made some of the best suggestions for food 😋 since we were from Arizona first time visitors. Definitely recommend!! Poke bowl was great!!

Are the reviews fake? Just went yesterday for happy hour, only 3 tables and still very slow service had to track down our waitress after she sat us and nothing..... when we approached her to order a drink she didnt know who we were????? Um theres 3 tables total about 8 customers total how did you not remember us you sat us 15 min ago. Anyways new waiter we tried to make small talk and engage and he had no personality or was nit in the mood. Maybe they need to be re-trained in customer service. Craft Beers were sparse if any, they were out of a lot. View was cool, music was great, seemed like it would be a good vibe place if the servers were more personal. FYI its not us weve had excellent service in all the other establishments people are super nice and friendly to us. Totally feel the Aloha love but this place did not show it. Had a drink 1 average appetizer and left.

Really good food but far from ideal service. It started out great. We got our food quick and then didnt see our server again until long after we had finished both our meal and our drinks. We had to ask another server for dessert and the check before someone came back. In addition, we had to ask repeatedly just to get a refill on our waters. Despite the service, it has a good vibe and great food.

Laid back and very casual. Comfort food eats and good happy hour specials. The Mai Tai is heavy on the juice, light on the rim so consider a double which doubles the rum so you can taste it, in the same amount of mix. “Ocean view” is technically true, although it’s a stretch of a claim. Go for the patio over the inside bar to enjoy more aloha spirit.

The loco moco is not good but the jambalaya is amazing

Very good value—good sized portions, very friendly helpful servers, and delicious drinks and specials.Their outdoor patio is beautiful, shady, and not crowded.Their food is very good, and reasonably priced. Good value. $1.50 mimosas until 2 daily - $1.00 for orange (with food); I had thought to order the $.50 side of cheese as my food and then drink dollar mimosas, as a joke but ultimately had some good meals.COVID precautions were appropriate. Restaurant was clean, masks worn, and temperatures checked.We would return.

Disappointed after being recommended to this location. They were quick to get us seated. Though extremely long time to get order taken. Nachos chips were stale and greasy and next to impossible to choke down. Fajitas were good but had to ask to have water refilled. Only offered additional drinks from the bar. Probably not going back in the future with other options in the area.

Fun restaurant and bar on the 2nd floor. Entry is beside the tattoo parlor. Big indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is covered with fans and cool lights. Decent pub style food, however the steak and lobster 🦞 served on a hotplate I hear is amazing (and looked amazing). The 24 hr marinated ribs is delicious (really good BBQ sauce).Nice staff too.Worth a second visit.

Good breakfast place to stop at before exploring Maui, the NY steak and eggs were delicious and my wife had a very tasty Hawaiian French Toast with coconut syrup on it.Definitely a place I’d come to over and over again if I lived in the area.

We had a friendly waiter named Shane G. Shane was quick to get or drink order and timely with dinner order. I had blackened tacos, side of onion rings, and a beer.. Cost 33.00 approx with the tip at 18%. My friends got the Maui Burger and they said they loved it. All and all service was good and food taste very good. I would go back. We did eat after happy hour was over and the outside upstairs patio was full of people.

Food was good. Tasty and generous portions but nothing that stands out. Pretty typical bar food. Ambience is similar to those hole in the wall places ( which is not a bad thing) but service was fairly slow considering the time of day and the number of patrons. Im sure it does get livelier during the evening hours when the bar is in full swing.

Pulled pork was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Waited 20 minutes for water. Wait staff was non existent. We waited 25 minutes for a to go dessert order, we had to track the wait staff down multiple times. She told us she had 3 tables. We did make a reservation. Do not recommend.

If youre standing on a long line to eat breakfast elbow to elbow and listen to traffic, get off! Walk thru the shaded lot turn right and go upstairs to Lava Rock. Your view is from the serene second story and the food, drink and service is wonderful.Forgot to take a pic of my eggs Benedict with salmon. Yummy

We ate here 3 times on our trip to Maui. It was close to our Airbnb and very convenient. The parking was also good, it had a big lot for the restaurants and the shopping center. We went early for breakfast and the mimosas were delicious. I loved the Guava one. All of the food was delicious but my favorite was the empanadas! My mom also had a pretty crazy Bloody Mary that she loved. Also the French toast was fire!

My family of 8 had an amazing experience!! We went for breakfast and cant say a single bad thing. Our food and drinks were so so good! Cole and Joseph took great car of us and made our experience even better, what a lovely place to enjoy breakfast!

Lots of drinks, appi’s and entrees ordered. Delicious. We had a wonderfully friendly and organized female server that handled our group of 11 perfectly.During a time when everywhere seems to be short staffed, the Lava Rock nailed it. Friendly staff and great atmosphere with a large covered patio to watch the sun go down.

Just ordered lunch from here, when we picked it up the staff was very engaging and friendly. The bartender was enthusiastic offered us mimosas (they were great by the way). Gonna make a dinner here one night of our stay for sure. Poke nachos were excellent and the kalua pork is very good, not too smoky or too sweet.

The brunch was great. We got the chicken fried chicken and it was a little dry, needs more gravy. Cheap mimosas with food purchase. Had all the TVs on Sunday NFL. Service was great 👍

The server we had was great. He was personable, funny and fast. And the food was pretty decent. The hostess however is the reason for the 1 start.My sisters and I ate breakfast here and we tipped the server cash. Because one of my sisters is a waitress, she does not like to leave the cash on the table, so we found the server and gave him the cash tip in his hand.Upon leaving, the snarky hostess accused us of not leaving a tip practically in front of the whole restaurant. Very tacky

First time in my life I didn’t leave a tip. I normally tip 25-30 percent because I appreciate good service. Our server was uninterested and ‘forgetful’. She treated us like we were a bother rather than a customer. The only good thing about our experience was the nice young man who was obviously working other tables who helped us with condiments we’d asked our server for 30 minutes before. He went out of his way to help us, but she was lazy.Food was ok, not great. But service was the worst I’ve had in years. If you have 2 hours to waste, go for it.

I would have given 3 stars because the food was good but...The service was not good. We got there at 3 for happy hour and we left at 5:45. Everything we ordered was followed by a half hour wait. Our waiter also got the check wrong and over charged us. I would be a bit more understanding if they were understaffed but I saw multiple workers standing around chatting with the guests. Overall the food was good but not worth the wait.

We went for breakfast on new years. They where short handed but our waiter guy double timed it and got everyone taken care of in the whole place with no delay. Breakfast was great. We had a group of 7 and everyone said it was best breakfast of whole trip. Went back for dinner another night and everything was as expected it was good food and good service. Good job to these people

Good breakfast with many options and generous portions. Our server Diego took good care of our party of 9. Nice that they take reservations and no waiting. Pleasant open air dining room with a view of the ocean. Its on the second story and theres an elevator if you need it.
