Our team had incredible foot soaks and massages from Wake! The vibes are so relaxing and we definitely recommend the head and foot massages. It’s so worth the upgrade. They also had tea service which I wasn’t expecting. Would make a perfect Mother’s Day or Bachelorette activity!

Wake Foot Sanctuary was a lovely little escape from reality for a few hours. From the moment you enter, your senses are delighted with calming scents and sounds. Went for our anniversary and it was amazing. We did the jet setter package we got all the massages. I had Aiden did an excellent job would recommend for special occasion. I would come for a regular soak and foot massage 💯! Treat yourself it’s worth it!

I booked an appointment for a foot soak for my wife as a Valentine gift. When we arrived and found out that there was an opportunity for me to join her, I did. The 45 minute soak, atmosphere, personal attention and care were 5 star plus. For days my wife commented on the amazing experience we enjoyed. We definitely plan to return.

The staff were very accommodating of our larger group and made sure everyone was well taken care of (and even took a group photo for us). Great experience! This place is so relaxing from the moment you walk in the door. The calming music, the smell of the essential oils. You can even get your own tea kettle.

Yes it was nice ..but basically you soak your feet for 15-20 minutes ..forgot how long but short..then they rub your feet not really a massage for a short time and that was it. We got a cookie and tea but you pay for it. Overall my impression was that it was really expensive for what you got. So probably won’t go back.

As a long time client of Wake in Asheville (8+ years and dozens and dozens of services), I had a poor experience in Knoxville.My foot soak was not hot to begin with, and the warm ups along the way only warmed up the water for a couple of minutes. Both my friend and I experienced this and we both left the spa feeling cold since our feet and lower legs were in cool water almost the entire time.We ordered a pot of tea to share, and though it will cool over time, by the end of the soak the tea in the pot was cold.I also had a head, neck, shoulder massage that was less than par. It was 20 minutes of a tickle, and no pressure was applied to relieve sore and tight muscles. The massage therapist did not ask even once how the pressure was.Every time I have left Wake Foot Spa in Asheville, I have felt warm, cozy, and relaxed. When I left Wake Foot Spa in Knoxville, I felt like I didnt have a foot soak or massage at all.Wake Knoxville does have a great setup that feels more private during soaks, and a cute shop.

I absolutely love this spa. I can’t say enough about the service and staff. We got stuck in traffic and we were running late, (totally our fault) and instead of charging us full price for the service we booked, the manager worked with us and we were still able to get some massage and a foot soak within our scheduled time. It wasn’t the service we booked but we took it! We expected to have to reschedule.This was our first time but we will definitely be back!I got the signature soothe. It was great! The tea was an added bonus. Next time we are all getting packages so we can stay in the spa longer. (And we will definitely leave early hahaha)Everyone loved the therapists that massaged us. You can’t go wrong with any of them. There were other services going on at the same time. Everyone seemed so relaxed. It’s nice to disconnect from the world and refill your cup.This is a five star spa with five star service! You have 6 return guests that can’t wait until their next appointment.

Relaxing and fun! I went to Wake with some some family members for my birthday and it was amazing! The foot soaks are so relaxing. I liked that we were all able to sit together and soak. I just wish we were able to have added on some massages but will know for next time that they need more time.

Wake is my favorite place to relax and unwind! The staff is helpful, informative, and passionate about making their clients feel taken care of. Etrulia has taken care of me during several services I’ve had at Wake (she is fabulous!), but you are in great hands no matter the staff member you are teamed up with!

This little spa is a delightful gem! Over the years, theyve added sweet touches like tea service, curtains, etc. Our only complaint is that other customers forget to (or refuse to) silence their phones, which often breaks the spell of blissful relaxation.

This place is heaven on earth. Staff are wonderful (Julia is phenomenal) and it is such a peaceful spot in the heart of downtown. I dont have a single complaint or negative thing to say. Its perfection. Its a great spot to shop for gifts, too!

I made an appointment for myself, my sister and mom to celebrate my moms birthday. Before going I got a phone call from where all policies were reviewed. I planned to take my newborn with my worn in a wrap on my chest as I have done to pedicures, manicures, concerts and church. Upon arrival I was told that I would not be receiving my service because my newborn was not allowed to come in but that I would still be charged. No solution was offered such as rescheduling. This policy was not reviewed with me on the phone. The website markets special treatments for pregnant women but it is clear that they are not inclusive, supportive or understanding of postpartum, breastfeeding moms. I will not be returning.

My experience at Wake was phenomenal. I felt relaxed from the moment I entered the lobby to the second I left. The combination of relaxing music, sweet smells, and dim lighting instantly put me at ease. I did a soothing foot soak with a 40 minute add on (two 20 minute massages, hand/arm and head/neck/shoulders). The kindness of the staff made me feel comfortable throughout the entire evening, asking if the water needed to be warmed, how the pressure was, or if we needed anything. Lisa was incredible and made an effort to ensure I received the best possible experience. Everyone there was extremely soft-spoken to not ruin the calming environment, which added to the whole experience. It was so peaceful. Not to mention the tea was delicious! I definitely recommend visiting this spa, but make sure to book early in advance and pay attention to the booking agreements; checking in early was so important because of the paperwork and getting everything set up. Relaxing in the lobby with fancy slippers on was just an added bonus! With how great the customer service was, it is no surprise that this place is extremely busy. I will definitely be back!

The foot sanctuary is amazing! I got the Daydreamer package and it was the best mix of what I would normally go for a pedicure + classic massage for. I appreciated the dedication the staff had to keeping the space quiet and tranquil. The staff keep the water in your soaking tub at a warm temp throughout your experience, which is a thoughtful touch. Aidan was an excellent massage therapist!

Wake Spa offers a greeting environment upon arrival & doesn’t stop when you are being treated by your massage therapist. Everyone sets out the attend to your needs to make your visit as wonderful as possible & trust me when I say … your whole visit will be wonderful no matter what service you partake in. Make sure to add a massage of some sort — it is awesome!

I loved the experience, however, when I made the reservation for myself and two friends, I specifically asked if we would be able to sit together. The room is not designed for 3 people to sit together. So 1 of us had to sit by ourselves. Its not really an activity that is conducive to doing with friends, as they are adamant that even whispering is to loud.

I was in town for the weekend and saw a sign for Wake Foot Sanctuary in my hotel. I am so glad I went! Loved the experience and atmosphere. I added on a 20 minute head/neck/shoulder massage. Lisa was amazing! One of the best massages I’ve had! I will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved Wake. A friend came with me for my birthday. It was so relaxing. With all the noise going on in the world, a busy life schedule, and work, there is no better escape. It’s great to have a getaway in Knoxville where you can close your eyes and enjoy the tranquil environment. Other people were present during our package but they too were sitting with their eyes closed just relaxing. This is not a bright lights, everyone chatting, pedicure place. This is a place to just be present. It’s a great place to meditate. I absolutely love the set up. Of course if you want to chat it up with a group of friends they do offer you to rent the entire place. But if you are going solo or with a couple of friends just know that you will enjoy a real peaceful spa atmosphere. Being a teacher this place refills my cup. It’s nice not to hear about everyone’s problems, what’s on sale at a local store, who is dating who, what for dinner, etc lol. It’s a getaway. It’s in a great location. The staff was super friendly. Their soft voice relaxes you from the beginning. We picked out our soaks, our area of massage, changed into our slippers, and ordered drinks. We were taken behind the curtains to our chairs by the therapist. The chairs were soft and relaxing. There were people already receiving their massages so we were respectful and we just sat down quietly. Our therapist brought out our large copper bowl soaks. All of the therapists and the front were wearing masks. We did also and so were the other people getting their massages. Then our beverages were brought out. They poured the tea for us. I felt so pampered. My therapist was so good. Very attentive. Be sure to wear loose clothing if you are getting a leg massage and a shirt that will stretch if you are getting the head, neck, and shoulders. My neck was a wreck when I made my appointment. When I left I felt like a new person. I had great range of motion, and my tension headache was gone. It’s amazing how great you immediately feel just being quiet and living in the moment. If you are going to celebrate with a group or you are wanting to talk the entire time I would suggest booking the entire space (which is only 8 chairs) or maybe asking for a time when no one else is present. I wouldn’t have enjoyed myself as much if someone was talking the entire time. But thankfully everyone in the room was all on the same page. We all seemed connected somehow. It was like everyone in the room just needed to be there and needed the service they were receiving. I highly recommend this spa. I look forward to many more return appointments. Next time I am definitely getting a large package. And a gift card is definitely on my teacher gift list.

I’ve been to wake twice recently. I really enjoyed my services from Delaney & Kristale. The atmosphere and music really compliment the experience and made it easy to relax. Everyone is super professional and attentive and I never have to worry about a thing! Looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely incredible, cant recommend enough.we did the inner peace package and Im not kidding, was the best massage and spa treatment Ive ever received.Shout out to Mosheh, incredible massage therapist!!! after the head and neck massage my jaw has relaxed fully for the first time in years.The boutique is so cute with awesome goodies and the entire experience made me want to stay forever!

My experience at Wake was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in the door we were met with excellent service which was maintained throughout the visit. The facility was clean, and they followed COVID-19 protocols. As for the soak and massage, the chairs were very comfortable, the soak itself was the perfect temperature which was offered to be reheated if desired in the middle of our visit. Our massage therapist was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed the lower arm and hand massage while my mother enjoyed the head, neck, and shoulder massage. Overall it was a totally peaceful and relaxing experience and we left knowing we would definitely come back.

My friend and I got gift cards for Christmas and were thrilled to have a spa day. The foot soak and massages were great and the staff members conducting our spa experience were as sweet as could be. However, our experience with customer service was sub par. Upon arrival, we were immediately shushed as to not “disturb the spa experience of others.” Mind you, we were speaking at a respectable volume as we attempted to check in and were unaware of the expectations of absolute silence. During our spa experience, the staff members assigned to us went to refill our water basins so my friend and I were quietly whispering about our experience so far. Another staff member not even assigned to us came over, crouched down, and immediately said, “we ask that you refrain from talking while other guests are getting their massages. They should have told you that.” Now, it’s fine if we are not whispering at a volume that is acceptable. But she approached it in such a belittling manner that it was almost like our experience was less important than others’. Not to mention, the couple we were “bothering” were just as loud and were not told to “refrain from speaking” at all. Her approach rubbed me the wrong way and quite frankly made me mad, so I was unable to fully relax during my massage. Long story short, the actual spa experience was great, but I suggest going by yourself or with someone you don’t enjoy being with as to not run the risk of being shushed and belittled during your session. And just a suggestion - if you’re so concerned with volume levels, maybe put up some walls instead of having each set of chairs facing each other, separated by a sheer curtain. And maybe have some signs up that indicate the required volume level so guests can be fully aware. We won’t be back, but maybe others will have a more positive experience.

The most relaxing experience ever! I have family that we visit in TN so every time we visit I make sure to have a wake foot soak appointment! The aura in the treatment room Is perfect. I love that you can request no talking. My massage therapist was awesome and very attentive, always asking if there was the right amount of pressure. I got the jet setter package and wilL ALWAYS get this one now. The soak, truffle, and tea were awesome! 10/10 recommend and can’t wait for next time!

The experience is total relaxation for a out an hour. The staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. The options comprehensive to the services in the setting. The atmosphere is a as laid back as could be possible to also respect other guests experiences.

I booked a couples date night appt. Staff is fantastic. Only thing I can recommend to make this better would be for the couples date night sessions is to have 2 techs working, 1 for each person. Otherwise it was a fantastic experience but I would not choose the date night session again unless there was 2 techs available for us. The massage portion of the service and our tech was fabulous!I would not recommend just the foot soak for kids. This is not a pedicure. There is mostly quiet time and children would be bored.I DO recommend their services to adults and purchased gift cards for family and friends.

Wake is a fantastic place to get a unique, relaxing experience in Knoxville! It’s a very clean, quiet atmosphere. Getting a regular soak is great, but I definitely recommend adding massage as the massage therapists there are wonderful at what they do. This is perfect for a girls day, date night, or a surprise for out-of-town friends and family. Definitely check it out if you’re wanting to try something new and different.

Unique and relaxing experience. Perfect to unwind after a long day at work. Great for people who want a place to relax but dont do pedicures bc they are ticklish or squeamish ab ppl touching their feet. You can add on a 20 min scalp, hand/forearm, or foot massage for a fee, but that is optional. My attendant refreshed my water half way through to keep the bowl hot for the entire session.

If you have some extra money to spend, I highly recommend this place. It was a bit pricey for what it was, but Id do it again in a heartbeat. My husband and I went for our anniversary wknd staycation, and he was ready to schedule our next visit before we left. I scheduled last minute and all they had was a 20min massage, but it was a whole experience and we were there for about an hour. I had to cancel our dinner reservation because I didnt realize how much time wed spend here. Looking forward to scheduling the Date Night for our next celebration! Tip: when they ask if you want your water reheated, GET the extra hot water!

This was a perfect destination for a mother daughter night out. The service was wonderful. My daughter Audrey loved her xoxo foot bath/ massage. We got hot coco and cookies while listening to calming music and the rose petals in our baths. Christina was great along with other staff members such as Alex. Five stars .

I loved the whole experience, especially how you and you friends could be in your own area, separate from everyone else (they have ways of dividing the space to accommodate larger and smaller groups). Unlike getting a pedicure, you are facing your friends and its very easy to chat while relaxing. The tea is a wonderful addition to the experience. We had Pace as our therapist and she was great!

What a hidden gem! We came from Chicago with an abundance of spas and boutique places to unwind and recharge. A friend of mine brought me here 3 years after being in Knoxville and I was in awe that we had a place like this under our nose! I recently brought my husband who also had a beautiful time. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the January special, “Smoky Mountain Memories” package. It was absolutely amazing!! After a very busy holiday season, I kept putting the pampering off but I am stoked I got to indulge with this package. It was a great way for me to “come back home”. All the aromas from the oils from the soak were well-coordinated and the massage by Rebekah was ultra-relaxing. She was highly attentive at each step of the soak. I can’t wait to get back in a few weeks!

I really enjoy the personal touches they add to make you feel attended to and find myself coming back for even the smallest excuse of rewarding myself.

It was my first time getting a foot soak at this spa. It was very relaxing and I enjoyed myself, however, IF I return, I will go by myself. I have been to a lot of spas in my life, all over the world, NEVER have I been to a spa where you cannot even speak; whisper even. I understand there are other guest enjoying the same experience as I am, however, my friend and I were whispering out of respect of the atmosphere and experience and were still told more than 3 times to hush. A male therapist even left the person he was servicing to tell us to refine from speaking. They were giving us the hush signal with the one finger over the mouth like we were 3 year olds causing a scene. Very Odd. While the service was relaxing, it made us feel awkward and uncomfortable. I think they need to RELAX on the No Talking policy.

We went to Wake when it was brand new. I dont believe any of us in our party had been to anything like this before. It was LOVELY. Everything from the choice of soaks to the music to the ambiance was expertly planned and provided. I felt refreshed and fabulous when it was over. Highly recommend!

If I had to pick one word to describe this place it would be NIRVANA. We celebrated a friends 40th birthday at Wake Knoxville this past Saturday it was more than a 5 star experience. The staff is knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. The soaks and massages we received melted our problems away. The sanctuary is so incredibly relaxing we would have loved to stay all day! I don’t want to forget to mention the cute gifts and jewelry too. We will be coming back!

My mom loved it for her Mothers Day gift this past year. I was able to set everything up over the phone and even pre bought some drinks for her and left a tip. All mom had to do was show up and relax. Pretty cool, honestly.

Dont even bother making an appointment unless you try months in advance. Called to make an apointment and was told someone would call me back. They said it would take a few days to receive a call back because the person in charge of booking was running behind. After waiting 2 weeks I called back again and was again told they would call me back. By the time they finally called me back they said they were completely booked for the entire month. Would have been nice to know that when I originally called 3 weeks earlier.

If you are in Knoxville, this is a must experience. As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed. Get the soak and the massage. Lisa was my masseuse and she was amazing, I have had a long time foot injury, and thanks to her my foot hasnt hurt in two days. I wish my town had a Wake, I would be a regular customer. Oh and make sure you try the cookies.
