Absolutely an amazing experience. My fiance and I did the deep tissue body massage hot stone. Sherri and Molly were amazing. Sherri did my massage and I was absolutely relaxed. She provided accommodations when I got cold and informed me when something would be hot or cold during the session. Massages are a bit pricey but thats to be expected when in a tourist city and the art of massages. Would love to come back again when we come back to Las Vegas. My fiance and I left sleepy and very relaxed.
Do not waste your time or money on this spa! I was excited to treat myself while on vacation…and this was far from that. I booked a 60 minute full body hot stone massage. When I arrived at the spa I was asked to pay up front, and now I know why. I got into the (tiny with nowhere to set my clothes) room at 11:23, and left the spa at 12:12. I didn’t even get the hour I paid for. My masseuse left the room 4 times during my massage. (Twice to help customers at the front desk, and twice to grab towels and stones). Very unorganized and not relaxing at all. I have never left a massage in so much pain, and it has just gotten worse through out the day. I spoke with an El Cortez manager about my terrible experience, and they handed me a “guest survey” card to fill out. Such a disappointing experience that ruined a day of my trip.
I had an exceptional experience at NV Spa inside the El Cortez hotel! The ambiance was very serene for the space given, and their hours accommodate the Vegas lifestyle!Sheri, my therapist, provided outstanding customer service and her communication skills were top-notch. She made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire session, ensuring every detail was tailored to my preferences. When I got cold, she gave me some blankets; when she put anything on me, she let me know what was in it and if it was gonna be hot or cold.Pro tip: Make sure to call ahead to book your appointment as they fill up quickly, especially with skilled therapists like Sheri. This ensures you get the time slot that fits your schedule perfectly. They may also text you as well, depending on your preferences.I highly recommend NV Spa for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a pampering session in Las Vegas!
This review is for Sheri particularly, she did an amazing job. She had good communication as she asked frequently about my comfort and needs. She adjusted pressure when necessary, and included/took away pillows and blankets making sure I was comfortable when moving from different positions. She was ready when when I arrived early for my appointment and the service reflected the full time alottment as well as the additional features I elected.
All about the money at this place. Pay upfront immediately. The staff even wanted you to tip upfront. They dont even trust you with the bathroom keys. I had to be escorted to the bathroom. Extremely rude way to treat your customers. As far as the massage, it was very average, and the cost was relatively average too.. I also didnt care for the can lights shining directly in my eyes. I wont be back.
Called and got right in within a few hours and received the BEST massage ever. We did the couples deep tissue and hot stone massage. I was hesitant on booking after reading some of the reviews but took the gamble and man am I glad we did. We will be back!
What a horrible experience! You get what you pay for.. or less. Showed up to set appointment and was told to come back in 25 minutes. When we arrived there were weird add on charges and we were told to pay upfront??? What kind of place did we go to? Massage was terrible.. doors banging and very unorganized. I have NEVER had a massage that actually HURTS!! Please slow down and train your staff!
Worst massage I’ve ever had. I would say you get what you pay for but I’ve paid the same other places and it was phenomenal. It was rushed and uncomfortable. She spent an hour massaging my arms from the elbow down and knees to feet with the same motion never changing. Try somewhere else but definitely avoid this place.
The massage itself helped my sciatica pain. I usually don’t pay before services, which I thought was odd. My girlfriend and I were charged for services ahead of time then they asked if want 30 minutes more. I asked how much 15 but was 50..we both heard it. I get the language barrier but a little disappointed or felt they took advantage of us. They did give us a free scrub and stone w it so it off sets it. Then I wanted to tip 15 instead of 40 as I really wanted to reward them. She was questioning me 15 I added 5. Won’t come back.
Molly was the one who gave me a massage and she was very good. Very professional and her tecnique was extraordinary. She used a variety of methods, even walked on my back which was very effective at loosening the muscles. She was very attentive to my needs amd it was a restorative experience. I came out refreshed.
Do not go here! They were 40 mins behind our 90 min appt and they stopped giving us our massages after 60 mins. The receptionist lady was also the one who gave me my massage and she stopped 5 times for atleast 5 mins each time to do the front desk. She also used the same towel on me that she used on my friend. To make it even worse, the massage was a joke! What gives them the right to advertise massages when they don’t even know how to massage? And they won’t give refunds! You’ll have to deal with it with your bank. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Got a deep tissue massage by Molly and Sheri. It was like all the stresses of life were massaged away little by little. I highly recommend it. Its at the El Cortez.
Molly was very professional and what amazing hands to make ur body feel like unbelievable relaxVery clean place and organizedThank you, Molly for such a great massage
First time trying this spa during a trip to Vegas. Booked a 60 minute Deep pressure massage and added the hot stones and essential oils scrub. Their prices are good value compared to some of the larger hotel spas I researched on the strip. My masseuse Molly was great! She knew exactly which areas needed more attention. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Would definitely book here again!
Sheri is a true professional massage therapist, with great technique. Her communication and customer service skills were excellent. The pricing is reasonable, backed by a good massage.Whether you live in the Vegas area, or just visiting, I highly recommend Sheri at NV Spa.
Took our appointment over text the same day. We showed up 10 minutes early and they were ready for us. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. My husband had the same thoughts. I like more of a Swedish massage and my husband likes a deep tissue massage. We both left complete puddles. It was amazing. This will hands down be one of the Vegas traditions from here on out.
Thank you NV Spa for fantastic service! I slept in a poor position and had a lot of pain in my back and neck when I woke up. Sheri with NV Spa was able to see me that same day, and I cant thank her enough for the amazing work she did on my back. I highly recommend Sheri for professional massage therapy.
Went for a long overdue massage while I was staying at the El Cortez last week. Staff was great and able to get my travel companions and myself in same day. The massage definitely helped to relax during the trip and I will return on my next visit to the hotel.
Absolutely a horrible experience. Wanted to spoil my lady and get a couples massage. What a mistake. The goal of a massage is to relax. This place provides the opposite experience. Over the course of an hour, our masseuse left the room 5 times to deal with clients at the front desk. (No idea why there was no receptionist.) One of the guests complained for 5 minutes about how they were overcharged and felt ripped off. The walls are thin and we could hear everything. Of course, when we left, we were overcharged too. My lady agreed to pay a $25.00 tip. They charged us $50 on our credit card. They asked us if we wanted to purchase any essential oils too and we declined. They ended up charging us for essential oils on our bill. What a ripoff. They even charged us an extra 30 minutes ($100) that we DID NOT AGREE to. If you take the time to read other reviews of this place, you will notice that overcharging happens a lot. What a complete and total scam. Bad massage, bad experience. I will NEVER go back. I called the El Cortez manager to complain and they did nothing. (Acted like they could care less) Please avoid this place unless you want to get ripped off. I dont think much of the El Cortez for allowing this type of establishment on their property.
Purchased a couples massage. It seemed to be more expensive than I expected and the ladies doing the massage didn’t appear to be doing so with any degree of skill. At the end, we offered a tip in cash, but requested change, and the woman was very pushy about keeping the entire bill, including change we requested.
Horrible service. Late on opening doors. Then put both me & my daughter in same room. One person set their cell phone by my head and it kept going off. The two talk most of the time. Left room to get hot stones left the door open and stood in hallway talking. Took them 10min to get the stones which they went down my back twice and end of the so called stone massage. Did not make up the time they were late. Then when we left they demanded we pay them 25$ each or more for a tip. Do not waste your time. Spa...thats a joke to call this place a spa.
I visited NV Spa for 60 minute deep tissue massage, and my young and beautiful masseuse Molly provided a great massage, including walking on my back (my first time). In fact, she was so good that I scheduled a 90 minute session the next day! A big bonus is that she was friendly and conversational throughout. I recommend NV Spa, and especially with masseuse Molly!
My daughter and I had a couples massage and it was fantastic. We shared the same room and since I am hard of hearing she was able to communicate what the masseuse was asking me to do. I thought the price was very reasonable and felt so good after my massage I didnt even mind losing at the casino. I would highly recommend this spa as a better way to spend your money than taking a chance on the machines downstairs. Youll feel a lot better after as well.
Shery was the best :) I had a massage with her in my last trip to Vegas , she revived my whole body .
Excellent massage place in Vegas! The girl named Molly was professional and friendly, she was amazing. She took the time to hone in on the areas that were giving me so much pain. When I left, I felt like a new person. Make sure to call ahead to schedule an appointment and tip her well!I will definitely come back!
L’ve had several massages at.NV Spa and have never had a bad experience. It’s hard to get a good massage if it’s not more then an hour and so I usually get a 90 minute massage or a 2 hour massage. I’ve read so many reviews on here asking for tips and pressuring for upsells and I’ve been here several times and I’ve never been pressured for tipping or tipping extra. Would you go to a nail Spa for an hour & not tip for a service? Don’t get the service if you’re not willing tip. Upselling is part of the job in most companies and I wouldn’t blame the employees for doing their job! They’re just trying to do their job and make a living like all of us. I have loved all my experiences with Molly! She has the most adorable laugh and is so sweet. She’s so tiny, but don’t be fooled, the girls got amazing strength! She gave me the best 90 minute massage last night and I will going back for a couples massage tomorrow. I appreciate all the hard work she consistently does & makes me feel like my best self! Thank you Molly at NV Spa
Horrible experience. A constant hustle from the second you walked in the door, wanting to upcharge for everything, even during your massage after you said no thanks. Had a couples massage and the 2 staff members constantly chattering in whatever language they were speaking. Not relaxing whatsoever. I would have been better off giving my money to one of the bums. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY EVEN IF YOU HAVE A COUPON (we did).
I paid 300 dollars to freeze in a place where there was loud noise of drills and hammers. You can also hear everything thats going on in the whole place since the rooms are not separated. The girls giving us the couple massage didnt stop talking to each other and laughing. Massage was just ok. At the end they demanded a large tip. Total waste of money. Just go somewhere else. Its actually more relaxing getting this review out of my chest than the massage I just got.
Was in Vegas for EDC weekend and needed a massage for all the dancing we did.Went for an hour deep tissue with 30 minute foot massage. It was perfect!! Great skills and really enjoyed it. I have gotten a couple massages in the past at higher priced hotels and this by far beat it and only for $135!!Thank you NV Spa!
I would not recommended this place. Went there to have an enjoyable experience and had to opposite. I wanted a deep tissue massage, but basically only got rubbed. He left the room multiple times which disrupted my relaxation. The door was left wide open every time as well. My boyfriend also got a massage and he has much pain in his back after that. We’ve had many massages all over and never experienced one like this. I guess you get what you pay for. Throw your 60 bucks somewhere else. You’d have better luck at the blackjack table.
Went for a couples massage. They overcharged us, cut our time 15 min short of the hour we paid for. Not only that but my “therapist” if you call her that... could seem to stay away from my intimate area. Even after asking her repeatedly to drape more modestly. They make you pay upfront so I guess you can’t get your money back after receiving a sloppy, cold, inappropriate experience.
DO NOT GO HERE! My first time ever writing a negative review for a business but I have to warn people not to go here. My husband and I got a couples massage yesterday and it was awful in so many ways, just to name a few...Lets just say we both felt violated - they spent way too much time rubbing where they shouldnt have been (It was so uncomfortable), The 2 Massage Therapists spoke to eachother (in an unknown language) off and on throughout the entire massage while we were trying to relax, They charged us $220 in advance and then charged us an additional $100 after our massages were over claiming it was for extra time they gave us and claimed that we agreed to it during the massage, which we absolutely did not. We tried to tell her we did not agree to it and she just kept saying that we did, finally we gave her the extra $100 just so we could leave. We then asked for the $40 tip back that we gave them and she wouldnt give it back to us. (So we ended up paying $360 for a horrible 1 hour massage that did not feel good and made us both uncomfortable). Honestly, Im doubting they were truly trained Massage Therapists. They were unprofessional, didnt do any of the standard basic things any Massage Therapist would normally do, and it did not feel good at all - we were both just waiting for it to be over the entire time - (which is proof that we would never have agreed to pay for extra time we wanted it to be over). DO NOT GO HERE!RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Thank you for your response. I can assure you we were at NV Spa located on the second floor of El Cortez Casino on Saturday Jan 15th 2022 around 1:30pm. We used my credit card to pay $222 before our massages (I have the reference number for the charge on my credit card statement and the address for the charge says 600 Freemont Street Las Vegas). Im certain you have cameras in the lobby, if you check them it will show us being stopped on our way out and made to pay the additional $100. If you check the cameras, you will also see how unprofessional your massage therapists are as they had us walk down the hallway, past the lobby wearing nothing but a small bed sheet. (She grabbed all our clothes and brought them into a different room while we were laying on the massage tables). As I said before, Im doubting they are trained massage therapists for many reasons.
NEVER GO THERE!! Make yourself a favour and avoid at all cost. The $69 massage is a pure lie. The therapists will demand (its not your choice they literally request from you) 30-40 bucks tip for the $69 massage. Thats like 50-60%!! Wouldnt be a problem if the massage itself would be good, but I was told at the end if I would have wanted a full body, choose the 90 min option. Well, than why do you advertise a full body for $69??. I have been in a lot of spas and massages but this place is the most awkward that I have ever been in. Just as I said, avoid at all cost!
I’ve been here twice and it is a hidden gem! Tucked upstairs at the El Cortez on the edges of Fremont Downtown, the prices are great and massages are even better.Get the 90 minute because you won’t want it to end! I look forward to my next visit when I am in Vegas again.
The NV Spa was subpar in my book. It lacked the amenities I am used to. I went for a deep tissue massage and received that plus some. I was given hot stones and hot towels as part of my massage. There were moments when the massage therapist literally punched my back and shoulders. This part wasnt comfortable and was not calming and relaxing as I expected. There was no aroma therapy smells nor was there calm and serene music playing as I am used to. The massage was pretty rough and I doubt that I would return just because it was rough. The hot stones are the only thing I enjoyed and Im not sure if that was supposed to be what I received. In addition, the therapist tried to tell me what tip I had to give instead of allowing me to choose what I wanted. We had a slight disagreement about that. They tried to tell me I had to pay 35% for a tip when tips are just that, a tip an addition to the fee. I didnt like that. Like I said before, I probably will not ever go back especially since I was trying something new on vacation.
My husband and I got massages and the girls were WONDERFUL! Super nice and helpful. Informed you what they were doing and asked if you were OK with it. I absolutely enjoyed the whole experience! I highly recommend them.
Too much emphasis on tips for a mediocre massage. Went to Neko instead. So much better.ETA: I’m from Houston. Absolutely not a competitor.
Who is the best masseuse at NV Spa? I can’t recommend anyone else besides Sofia. My body very enjoyed Sofia massage technique. You body will tell you how the masseuse mood by touch. I don’t know how other clientele’s feeling about massage, but I always enjoy the massage with best mood of masseuse.
Dont waste your money or time. Paid 202.00 for a 1 hr couple massage. By far the WORST massage. I dont even think they are educated or certified. Massage was Soo choppy and all over the place. Never worked on my neck,or my feet. It was like they spread oil all over usWe both had to go back to hotel to take a shower. They dont listen what your problem areas, they do whatever they want. It s..... And by the way Deep Tissue is different than relaxing, your pressure preference can be medium to firm , but theyll care less what pressure you want. Thats why I know their um education because if you want medium to firm pressure they charge you 20.00kre bc they think its considered deep tissue. Go back to school people.
Very reasonable couples massage I think it cost $100 for two of us for 1 hour. Then I think we left the 30 or $40 tip. Whos a great massage very relaxing. We were at staying at the Golden Nugget so it was just a short walk across Fremont to get to El Cortez where this is located at.
It was a good experience. The masseuse was pretty decent and was paying attention to what you need. Understanding language might be a problem but they give good service. I went after a hike at zion and came out feeling light as a feather. I got a full body massage.
Beautiful spa, good service, I keep came every evening for my four days vacation, sofia is a best massage therapist I ever meet. She has 20years experience, when she start doing massages she can find all of my body problems, very professional, and she give very useful solutions advice, I enjoy the time with her very much, I will come back to her again when I have my Vegas trip.
Not exactly sure how they are receiving good reviews. My husband and I received 2 subpar massages if you can even call them that. They were started with a lot of talking and feet placed in a bucket of water. Secondly light patting and rubbing was proceeded with moments of stopping and no contact for a bare minimum of 45 minutes. And to add insult to injury they they ask for a tip then tell you how much they want. Please save your time and money and wait til you return home to get a massage. And Im sure no one probably has a licenses to massage as it seemed that they were just winging it.
Pros: Relatively good Hot Stone Massage.Cons: We were overcharged for the advertised 60 minute price and then only received a 42 min massage.
My husband and I do not recommend... go elsewhere!
Wonderful service! Called and got an appt for me and my man within the hour at 8:30pm! Would highly recommend!
My husband and I went here for a couples massage for our aanniversary. We went for the deep tissue massage. Wow ! Deep tissue for sure so be prepared for a strong and relaxing massage. Good value I felt like the massage therapist really knew their trade! Thanks NV !
Absolutely best spa place in Downtown Area. These guys have amazing rates and are super professional. The deep tissue isnt a digging in your knots massage but correctly working through the knots and lossening them to provide maximum stress relasing effects. The girls were super nice and friendly and knew how to work the knots and stimulate nerve endings allowing blood flow and energy to flow through correctly. Like I said PROFESSIONAL place, if youre tired after a long flight or just want to relax Id recommend this place for couples and family. Highly Recommend for intutive tissue relaxing work.
At first I wasn’t sure if I come to the right place. I am normally go to very nice SPA places in Las Vegas. But my back and foot was shore/hurting as hell so I just enter and try what they can do. You right there some noises next room, but really lol this is not a spa but it is a quick massage place. They are very friendly and the most important that when I came out from that place I feel really great my pain was gone and I am so freakin Thankful to Helen the masseuse lady I had. I will go back again on next weekend for my birthday maybe will bring my friends too. Thank you Helen 👍🏼✌️
Same day appointments, they were sweet enough to put my hubbs and I in same room, but that made things tight and awkward. We had a facial and a relaxation massage and both worth the money, will definitely return when in town. WC accessible and knowledgeable staff.
This place was amazing. I do MMA and have had a strained/stiff neck and back/shoulders. The massage was a great blend of warm up, deep tissue, and stretching. I have a massage envy membership and the massage at NV was better than anyone ive had at massage envy for the last 2 years. They got me in right away but I would call first.
Hot stone massage with essential oils was fabulous! Masseuse was attentive to my sore/tender arm & shoulder, and frequently asked if pressure was ok, which I appreciated. El Cortez players card allows for $10 discount.
Literally a scam. Stay far far away. They tried to charge me $15 for scented oil, attempted to pressure me into 10 more minutes, cut the massage short by 5 minutes, and were extremely unprofessional. The other reviews must be fake cause this place is absolutely terrible
My wife and I had a couples deep tissue massage with hot stones. It was the best massage I have ever had. Anna and Summy were amazing. Definitely will be back.
I wanted to spoil myself while my husband was off at his event and I was worried to book thru a hotel spa because I figured the prices would be much higher but this place was amazing and I wouldve gladly paid double. They were amazing and I will be back anytime Im in Vegas.
Great place to get a massage, located inside the El Cortez Hotel and Casino on Fremont Street. Reasonable prices and skilled therapists, I have been several times and not been disappointed. One thing to bear in mind, it does not have showers or a locker room.
Not impressed, was one of the worst massages I’ve gotten, and I get massages very often. Room was to warm, and they massage you thru a towel. Didn’t do chest/stomach or front of legs, and barely did the back of the legs. I’m guessing that there are better places in Vegas
Sheri & Jing were our massage providers, both were excellent and very professional!
Awesome job. My husband and I booked a last minute massage. They were very nice and professional. Plus we left there feeling light as a feather.
AMAZING!!! Currently offering half pricing due to COVID. GREAT TIME TO GET A COUPLES MASSAGE. The ladies were awesome. Walk into the El Cortez and go right up stairs for a good, calm time.
Amazing! One of the best massages of my life! I highly recommend! After all the walking that you will do in Las Vegas, it will be nice to go home feeling super relaxed.
Amazing little gem inside the El Cortez. Found this place after day one of Life is Beautiful and had to come back after day two. Very friendly staff, with great results. Ill probably come down here for a massage whenever in need, worth the drive.
Worst massage ever. Overpriced. Pressured for more time and more tip at the end after tipping upfront per the cashier. Massage was painful.and not remotely enjoyable
Best massage I have ever had. My back feels better than it has in a long time!
The best massage I’ve ever had! Well worth the money… if you’re visiting Vegas I highly recommend making an appointment!
Friendly staff, the selection of add ons are nice and reasonably priced. Massage therapists are very professional during both single and couples massages.
Wife and I did couples massage. Of course she had a Groupon. We upgraded and got a little more was worth it. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
The lady that attended to me on Sunday - January 3rd at 1pm was harsh , unfriendly and unprofessional. I loved this place in the past ... but as for this last massage... it was horrible. Service 0%
Made an appointment was given a price. Got there, the front desk lady tried to upsell is for 10 minutes and would not listen. We walked out extremely annoyed.
It was by far the worst experience ever I feel like I just paid $100.00 dolls to clean my back and rub lotion on my body and I do it for free everyday believe the 3 different comments before mine make it 4 with mine will never be there again or refer anyone and I tried complaining and the girl believed she was doing me a favor I kept telling her its not a favor I am only asking for what I paid for never again don’t recommend mend it at all and you could hear everything and everyone around you at one point a man kept moaning.
Beautiful massage therapist, very professional service and technique, very comfortable environment, I feel this is my best massage experience, I will come again
I really enjoyed the massage here! Better than Las Vegas resort massages and for a good price. Friendly staff and great service.
Everything was prefect. My wife and I enjoyed the hot stones. Very relaxing. Ladies were very kind and professional. We will return no doubt
Had a reservation for 2 people at 5pm the staff was 15 min late then when we wouldnt upgrade service they said you can only get 45 min... Still pay for 60 min mind you.. This place is the worst 3 years ago theybwere ok now just bypass them. Dont bother calling in as they dont care about the customer just their tip..
Oh yeah 😅 its such an amazing vacation time at El Cortez 😇👶🤠 especially with my little family we got goin on here... Id say its quite a show 😉🤠
Very pushy after paying 120 at the end when walking out the lady said well arent you going to tips us making me pay another 30dollars and the massage itself was definitely not worth that much
Wonderful services, clean, classy facility. Well-trained massage therapists. Knowledgeable about prenatal massage techniques and precautions. Thank you!
Wife was the actual client. Relaying that she had an excellent experience and that it was an excellent value for spa service in Las Vegas.
Very clean, professional, and relaxing. Great quality and great value for the prices! I was very satisfied with my foot massage.
Great massage, clean and nice location, staff are friendly. Will be back soon, again and again.
OMG, Lana was outstanding!!! Best massage I have ever had. Very highly recommended!
Omg Annie was amazing..best massage ever with great prices. Will definitely be back! 💆♀️
Cheryl is a great massage therapist. Really worked my knots out.
This place used to be decent for the price, but now its just constant haggling and upcharging. Not relaxing. Too bad.
Very professional and thorough. Had a great experience and definitely coming back the next time Im in Vegas.
The upselling was expected but too aggressive for my take. The massage was okay.
OMG the massages here are AMAZING! My husband and I got a couples massage and couldnt be happier!
I enjoyed my massage. Great prices! Great experience!
I thoroughly enjoy my massage and I will be back. Everyone was so kind and definitely qualified.
Worse spa in Las Vegas they charge to much for such unprofessional service and after all the therapist demand it a tip when she was already tipped she wanted more...
Excellent service; great price; availability for walk-ins. Ill be back!
Beautiful atmosphere and capable masseuses. Such a nice hidden gem!!
Biggest bang for your buck.. you will not be disappointed.... Ultimate relaxation
It was just ok. The place could use some updates and they should stop overbookimg.
Great prices, staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.
