Nice lounge with tasty unique cocktails, great service, and an awesome vibe. I really enjoyed the Marigold beverage I had.

This was on my list for must see bars in las vegas. It did not disappoint. Drinks were amazing and well presented. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Will be returning.

Had a great time, for a wedding after party 🎉 very classy, they were super accommodating for our larger group. The drinks were delicious and fun, Im a sucker for gin. They also have absinthe if youre ready for a more adventurous night. Ill definitely have to have my regular cocktail hour there

This place is a Hidden gem! Dont be panicky or alarmed by the exterior (which actually has a cool mural) because youll miss out on a great experience. The (totally awesome) bartender served some of the best cocktails Ive had in a while and was very helpful if youre unsure what to order. The media had a good variety vof cocktails and other drinks. Happy hour (half off) is a big plus 5-7pm Tues-Sat. 😉

Great atmosphere, great service, and great cocktails. Overall fantastic experience. The waitstaff are very knowledgeable and will help you through the menu.Took a few minutes to find the door lol, but once it was found, we were swept away into a lovely lounge. The happy hour was great with a variety of fun cocktails to try out. The menu keeps changing so it may be different when you go there. It was a really good experience.

Mike Morey’s Sip’n’Tip is a cool little cocktail bar. Our bartender Stephanie was friendly & welcoming and mixed us some outstanding cocktails. In my travels I have sampled classic cocktails from all over the country. Stephanie’s Old Fashioned may be the best yet! And her Manhattan was a close second.I am keeping this on my go-to list for when I need a quiet little stop to take a break from the buzz of Fremont Street.

For the love of God, take advantage of their Happy Hour if you downtown.Custom cocktails and atmosphere brings a side of traditional lounge experience you want. Loved it!

I was in town for a conference and was staying an Fremont street and wanted a cocktail. I went during happy hour, great drink prices very sexy moody dark atmosphere. Not a place to go have a business talk but a good place for a moody friend or evening out

Jackie is awesome! Great cocktails without pretense! Go around the corner and enter through the alley. Dont be afraid to order something not on the menu, let them freestyle, youll be happy!

I first came here in 2012, 11 years later and its still excellent! Creative drinks and a knowledgeable bartender are the perfect formula for a classic cocktail bar in the heart of downtown Las Vegas.

Cozy bar with a great atmosphere and amazing service.

We hosted a private event at DTCR and it was absolutely perfect. We are not from the area and Michael was very responsive and helpful in coordinating the event and ensuring the space would be right for us. The drinks and service were amazing, and cant be beat for the price. I would highly recommend hosting your event here, or just stopping in for a drink.

Edit: 2 weeks after posting this review, I was asked by the manager to “avoid DCR for the next 2 weeks to give the staff some time to process this negative review.” Despite asking to converse with me, she spoke over me and repeatedly stated she didn’t have much time, which makes little sense as she interrupted me to ask to speak. She continued saying “we have to protect our staff and have their backs and a lot of staff are uncomfortable after reading your review.”No worries, DCR! Protect some of your drunken (on DCR’s dime I’m sure!) egotistical staff all you would like! I truly hope the staff can overcome this extremely trying time caused by an online review; Sending thoughts & prayers your way!Plenty of other great establishments I can go to that understand the absolute basics of service and respect. I’ll pass on coming back.First review:I come to DCR often and have since pre-Covid as I enjoy the atmosphere, drinks, music, and less Vegas chaos. I’ve always loved this place as one of downtown’s hidden gems.Though, recently there has seemingly been a decline in service. The newest bartender, Jordan, I believe, and the recent leadership switch has caused DCR to take a hit. Though, all of the female bartenders/staff and bouncers have continued to be kind, courteous, and wonderful. I can’t say the same for the most recent hires and/or promotions.While closing my tab, I quietly asked the bartender, Jordan (who happens to be new), why he may have acted disrespectful and rude towards both myself and 2 friends I invited out a few weeks prior, understanding how things can get misconstrued.He immediately responded aggressively to my question whilst adding in some degrading remarks. He then snatched my bill off the bar and yelled brazenly at me saying, “I’ll pay your bill just to show you how much I care about this. Talk to my boss.”When I asked to be directed to his boss, another person appeared who immediately began slurring his words. I then asked if he was his boss to which he garbled, “I’m the lead and and we’ll see on the video.”At this point the other female bartender motioned to the intoxicated lead bartender to retreat into the back so I began packing my things to leave.As I left, both the bouncer and female bartender were apologetic and respectful, as they have always been.I really truly do love and have loved DCR, though, the holier-than-thou attitude the newest bartender gives off is enough for me to think twice before bringing any other guests here again.

Our cocktail waitress was very helpful in answering all of our questions that we had about any of the drinks that we saw on the menu. The seats were quite comfortable, the atmosphere was dark (in a good way), it was not loud and obnoxious, it was easy to hear each other talking, we did not need to yell at one another which was a rather nice change of pace! It was my first time ever seeing Absinthe on a menu which was awesome, I had to try it! The drinks were tasty and quite fancy to look at I might add, especially the Red Wedding which was topped with red pepper. If you are a lady definitely check out the ladies room, it is hands down the coolest ladies room I have ever been into in my life, I will leave the surprise up to you to see when you visit! Overall a fun experience, easy to order from menu, layout of menu is not confusing, lots of selections on the menu!

Fantastic cocktails, the staff was amazing... its quiet, cozy, has an awesome little speakeasy backroom to hang out in. This was a grand random find... well worth take a few steps of the main drag to check it out.

Hidden away spot for locals & keen visitors! Nice vibe, great for couples or a small group seeking an off the beaten path place to have a stiff drink.

Drinks were good nothing special though. The service was pretty slow and interior is nothing to get excited about. It wasn’t crowded when we went. Be careful tip was already added in even for a party of four that had one drink each pre dinner. If you are in the area and want a drink I’d hit it. But nothing I’d make a trip for.

Spa day is delicious. Refreshing, a little minty, a little spicy. No food only snacks(nuts, pretzels, olives) love the atmosphere, music and customer service!

Loved the cocktails here. Came for happy hour which is an amazing deal and then came back again later in the evening for a few more drinks. Bartenders were very friendly and you can tell they enjoyed working there. Highly recommend if youre in the downtown area.

No food was served. It was a very laid atmosphere. Cozy couches, leather chairs. House music was on deck when I visited on a Friday. I love it!

We had a blast at this small, dark, craft cocktail bar! Our bartender, Amber, was a true mixologist and took great pride and enthusiasm in creating her signature cocktails. The staff was very friendly and the clientele was lively, but pretty chill. Prices were typical of downtown bars. Not a bargain by any stretch, but they sure were tasty! Worth the price.

Ive been here a few times. Most recent was last night. Met up with a friend for drinks & to catch up. Bartender Amber was great. She gabbed with me while I waited for my friend. She made great drink recommendations and kept our water glasses full as well (important for this light weight). She also gave us a tip about our dinner destination.Atmosphere is super relaxed. I have attended events which were very loud and crowded here, but last night was nice and chill.

Came back a second time around and definitely this time was way better. Ordered the lady joker and it was super good as well as the Paloma which is a great classic and also an amazing out onto whatever you’re drinking. It’s like that perfect chaser hehe

Paul really made our trip to Vegas special. The craft cocktails were amazing and the bartenders are always really friendly and know their stuff! Will keep coming back to this place hopefully for years to come!

THIS is the absolute must try cocktail bar in North Vegas/Fremont. Staff is amazing. Drinks are expertly crafted, boozy, and not overpriced. Dont skip this place for a night out, or, to start with their happy hour.

I was there for Halfie Hour 😜(love puns!). I loved the hidden entrance and the dim atmosphere that led to the mystique of this small hidden gem. Had Bloom Anyway, which had jalapeno infused tequila which gave it a slight spicy taste that lingers on your tongue for a bit. It aso came with prickly pear syrup and guava soda. Im a social drinker and this drink was large and strong and I was set for the rest of the night. At $6.50, it was a steal! My companion had Hello Daddy, Hello Mom. It was very visually appealing and I loved the coconut whipped cream and black lava salt on top. Unfortunately, this drink was just too crazy strong for me and lacked sweetness. If youre hungry, skip this place and come later. It only comes with pretzels, nuts,olives, etc. Nothing that would sustain you fr the night, but great for noshing with cocktails.

Came to the Downtown Cocktail Room on a suggestion from a local Lyft driver, and so glad we did! Of course, it’s super fun that the door can be easy to miss - and hard to figure out! But we totally walked right by the whole establishment! So make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the red downtown sign.We tried a traditional pour of absinthe, and were pleasantly surprised! It was busy even on a Wednesday night, but the staff were very friendly and upbeat. There’s a very nice lounge feel to the whole place!

This bar is a relief after being on the strip for any length of time. It seems like real people AKA locals probably frequent the place. The DJ on Sat night was good and not too loud (very important in a small space). There is a hidden back bar area, which is very cool and the cocktails are delicious! Creative and very well executed! Also, not horribly expensive. The women’s restroom is...a unique experience.

Like many had to you tube how to get in. Which is the wood to your left, but beyond that the cocktail menu and help from bar staff is unmatched in vegas. Their happy hour specials beat a single drink on the strip by it self.

Came for happy hour (4-7pm) which includes half of the entire menu. Ordered 6-7 different drinks between my partner and me, all of them were creative, tasty, and strong. The bartender was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. This was by far the best bar experience during our Vegas trip. I highly recommend checking it out!

This is the bar Ive always been looking for in town. Im a Vegas local and me and my buddies finally came here and it was everything I hoped it would be. Cocktails are $10 or $12, the bartender is extremely knowledgeable and made me an impromptu drink off the top of his head and it was incredible. Great chill lounge music from a live DJ and dim lights. Great place to bring a date. This is my new spot!

The drinks here are excellently executed and fun. This is definitely a place where you can trust the menu and choose whatever to get a good drink. I tried that New York Breakfast drink in my pics and it was the best thing I had all trip. Sounds weird but sooo good, made me want to come back and try the whole menu.

I love this place!! A nice hidden gem, away from the cheap, sugar filled drinks from the strip. Knowledgeable bartenders who can make a Caipirinha that makes me think in sitting RIO.

When we go to Vegas, we always go to the Downtown Cocktail Room. Its my favorite speakeasy in Vegas. Hidden, Chill and Happy Hour deals at half price. The menu changes, so there is always a reason to come back. Be aware space is limited.

Nice place but there was a bit of confusion with getting in. Theres a sign in the alley and the website makes you think thats where you should go in (for the speakeasy vibe) but the staff was confused by us knocking on the alley door and indicated theres an unmarked front door that everyone uses.Still, the drinks were good and the atmosphere was moody and dark with incense and low lighting which was nice.Theres another more traditional bar in the back of the place, which actually looked very cozy and comfortable, but we didnt drink there.

I used to go here regularly, and then found the entire time they had been adding gratuity to the check. I always left 20% and was frustrated to realize the entire time I was in fact leaving that on top of a hard to notice automatic gratuity. So if you go, enjoy your cocktail and examine your bill.

Okay, we are smart folk, but upon walking to this location from the nearby ATOMIC LOUNGE, we were baffled at how to enter. There is a door/metal wall, that apparently opens out. We were puzzled, and I jokingly said it was like arriving at CAPOS restaurant ( secret entrance). Finally, a gal. ( our server Alanna) saw us and let us in. Instantly the aroma of incense hit your nose (my boyfriend hates incense--gives him a headache) but we stayed for 1 drink. It was happy hour so everything was half price and I wanted a cocktail. I chose the PALOMA---ooohh la la--was it delicious. Within 5-10 minutes we acclimated to the incense, and enjoyed our beverages. My boyfriend chose the Great Basin beer, which is local and he said tasty. We also ordered the spiced nuts which in turn beckoned me to order another PALOMA. When we initially arrived, there were 6-8 other patrons in the lounge. After about 20 minutes it quickly filled up and laughter and conversation overtook the space. Our drinks were expedited quickly and the service (Alanna), professional and friendly. I would definately check this place out... oh yes, the ladies room was dark...but modern...cool. Put this on your tourist card, its different, but worth the visit.

This was an amazing low key lounge spot. The bartender was so much fun and I discovered some new drink recipes that he turned me on too....whiskey is my thang!!!

I loved this cocktail bar. The cocktails were innovative (but still tasted great) and theres a cool low lit, sophisticated vibe. I went during happy hour (which is actually two hours and excellent value with everything at half price) on a Wednesday and had a choice of tables. The service was excellent. The server really knew the menu and gave me great advice. She also checked in at just the right times. Ill definitely be back.

This place is very cozy! The atmosphere is calming and the perfect stop for a drink. My husband and I wandered in and stayed awhile the bartender was very friendly and took the time to make us feel welcomed. I felt so at ease that I asked him to take our picture.

Calling all cocktail snobs! Why pay $15 for a margarita mix drink when you can get a true cocktail for less? And halfy hour every_single_item is half price between 4-7? I just missed the halfy hour but was still impressed with drink prices.

My go-to in downtown. We love it here. HOWEVER, it just wasn’t the same on our most recent trip. The once-excellent Halfy Hour is very different now. It’s still a happy hour but I don’t like it. I understand that prices and products change over time but it was just a little shocking and saddening to see the change. It’s still a cool place though.

Came in on a Wednesday night when it wasnt very full, though service was a bit slow despite three people behind the bar and at most 6-7 patrons at any time. Staff were friendly though. Had a delicious Ambrosia though. Cocktail was on point.

Very comfy inside. Offers high top tables and chairs, fake candles at the tables for safety of course, theres curtains to separate the sections of the room, theres a full wall mirror, a dj booth so you can listen to music be didnt talk si that was nice just to sit and listen, the bartenders were super nice as well!

Had such a wonderful time here. Had such a good time, that I stayed 2 hours and it felt like half an hour. Stephanie the bartender was amazing, kind, and helpful. Douglas the bouncer was incredibly kind, showed us around, and explained the two different rooms to us. We ended up having a few drinks in both. One side is more causal and dive bar aesthetic, and the other is more swanky cocktail style. Both are worth visiting. I wouldnt say this bar is hidden, but it is down an alley and not a main road. The entry way is set up speakeasy style, where you ring a bell and wait for entry.

Finally made it to DCR during their happy hour. You will find a large selection of their cocktails for only $10! Great atmosphere inside and a place to chill from the hectic Fremont Street activities.

I went here at 10pm to try unique cocktails and I got what I wanted! We tried over 7 different cocktails and everything was wonderful! The Miracle cocktail was probably my favorite! The hostess was also very accomodating and she clearly loved her job! Thats always something that brings more customers in. Keep up the good work! Will definitely be back again!

Very unique drinks, awesome atmosphere with a good happy hour. The lights are usually low, they have sofas to accommodate small parties and the music is pretty good. Sometimes it takes a little time to get an order placed but the staff is usually friendly and the drinks are so unique that they are worth the wait. Also, dont come hungry because they only have small snacks. Other than that this a great place to grab a drink and chill if you are doing the Fremont experience and need a change from the craziness going on outside

One of the best happy hours near the Fremont Experience. We came at opening and figured out how to open the door! Paul our bartender was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the drinks he made. If youre not a fan of gin or bourbon, hell convince you otherwise! A must to visit if youre in downtown Las Vegas.

Downtown Cocktail Room (also known to some as Sip N Tip) is a beautifully semi-hidden location. Enter from alley for the full experience. There are two sides to the bar when entering from alley. Right is old world bar but Downtown Cocktail Room is where you want to be when on a date, with friends and looking for exotic, interesting beverages.Ambience is gorgeous and makes it feel like a low key nightclub with excellent service.

Amazing ever-changing craft cocktail menu made by passionate mixologists. Great atmosphere, dimly lit, with fine art and a mural at the bar. Great service from most employees. Whoever designed this place must have a thing for unusual doors. I think the entrance is supposed to be a secret because the door has no handle and looks like a wall. And theres a door thats around 3 feet tall behind the bar, where employees have to crouch to get around.

This has been a staple of Downtown for so many years now. I love their drink experiments. It has had minor changes over the years and is still seemingly going strong.

Pre Covid review: Very intimate lounge type speakeasy. Visited last year and had a wonderful time. The cocktails were amazing and the waitress offered great suggestions based on our tastes. However we were in town again yesterday and thought wed give it another try since we enjoyed everything so much last year, but the atmosphere was completely different and downright rude. The place was not even close to being crowded so we sat at the bar. TWO bartenders looked straight at us a couple times and never acknowledged our existence. One even stood right in front of us to fill some water, looked us in the eye, the proceeded to talk to another customer two stools down. There was no hey, Ill be right with you or anything. So we decided to get up and leave. The drinks are not cheap and the place is not busy. Thats no way to treat repeat paying customers. Im very disappointed!

Well we like this place but service wasnt great tonight. In fact my friends love this place. Tonight she wanted our cards before we even knew the bill 🤷‍♀️. Really?! Horrible service. Not usually like that. 🤦‍♀️

If you are looking to find a nice lounge away from the usual ruckus of downtown Las Vegas this is the place to go. Right off of Fremont Street you can enjoy the novelty attractions there, and come to Downtown Cocktail Room to relax with a well made drink. The bartenders may be busy, but they are still attentive. I started with an extra dirty Martini, which was probably the most well balanced Ive had. The music, though not my preferred genre was easy listening, and not too loud. Bathrooms were relatively clean, and the overall setting was nice. This place seems to attract a good crowd, and not the horribly drunk and disorderly. Good time.

Seasonal, original cocktail menu and a relaxing in the know vibe -- completely opposite what you would expect, given its location in the center of a tourist trap. Happy hour is 5-7pm.

Incredible hidden gem. Was recommended this place by a friend and it was perfect. I went on a Friday night and the music was the perfect vibe. Now add to that a fantastic drink menu and bar. I started with a boulevardier (not on the menu) and it was perfectly made. Then i went onto a few old fashioned. Each one absolutely spot on. Cant wait to return the next time Im in down.

For an almost half empty bar service was extremely slow. At times there was no staff to be found.

My go-to bar for something thats not too tourist priced. The fact that its hidden makes it extra cool. Great ambience and a very nice mixed-drink selection. The crowd is usually a mix of downtown locals and hip visitors, and the bartenders are fantastic. Close to the Fremont action but it still keeps its own energy, even apart from Downtown Cocktail, which its connected to. The fact that you can mingle between the two bars is even cooler. Definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere! I went with friends, thankfully or I might have walked right by it. I liked that it was sort of unassuming and secret-like. Their drinks are great! Service was outstanding!

If you like craft cocktails this is the place for you! Jackie and Amber really took great care of us. And Noble working the door makes your experience great as well. Music is good and not so loud you cant talk to each other.

I am so, so glad my friend took me here for drinks! Mike Moreys is an awesome, laidback, almost speakeasy style cocktail bar in Downtown Vegas with a definite Locals Only feel. On the smaller side with two rooms to choose from for hanging out, I loved the bar area. Service was wonderful and the drinks were strong and delicious, not to mention CHEAP!I will definitely be returning next time I come to Vegas!

Cool spot. It gets 5 stars despite a few complaints because its (along with Park, Atomic, and Oak & Ivy) one of my mainstays when taking visitors on a cocktail tour of Downtown. The drinks are fun and interesting, and a great variety of styles to choose from. Its also always fun to let your guests struggle to find the door. Due to its inconspicuous nature, its also one of the few places that wont be a madhouse on busy nights. I last went on St. Patricks day. Everywhere else on the block was a joke. Packed in like drunk sardines. Downtown Cocktail room was busy, but we got seats fairly quickly.BIGGEST COMPLAINT: the policy on cigar and pipe smoking. Why? Why is it any different than smoking a cigarette? Pipe smoke certainly smells better than a cigarette, and many people think cigars do as well. Yall are trying to run a classy establishment. Act like it.

They have some pretty interesting signature cocktails. The best part is that literally everything on the menu is half off during happy hour. The drinks did take about 15 minutes to come out but you cant really complain for the price. The server did apologize for the wait.

My favorite bar! The bartenders and front door men are always so kind and they all have such fun bubbly personalities. Drinks are always delicious too. I recommend the lavender lover. Love this place :)

This is an absolutely amazing bar! The drinks are incredible and the staff goes out of their way to get to know you and make you feel at home. My fiancée and I both live in Vegas and its our favorite local bar. Ask for Kevin when youre in—best bartender and great company! Definitely worth a stop (or two). This is a wonderful place. I shouldnt review it because I want to keep it to myself. Lol. They play very cool trance music. But, what I love are the drinks. Absinthe. They have several kinds. Wonderful for enhancing stimulating conversation. And, a bunch of unique drinks. Sometimes with cheese! Seriously guys, its a wonderful place. Keep them going!

Downtown cocktail room is a hidden gem. We have definitely made it a must stop location for our group. Its right in the middle of the downtown action, yet it doesnt feel like anything else in the area. If youre in the middle for great service, and delicious craft cocktails, do yourself a favor and make this place a stop.

The front door no longer exists but the side door in the alley works just fine.Waitress was lovely and the drinks were delicious. Always a nice place to stop in and have a tasty cocktail!

Great casual lounge and fantasic cocktails. Some of the more experimental drinks may not always be to your taste, but you can tell they put a lot of effort to put something unique in front of you. I would always come here when I visit Vegas.

We chose the “DCR Squad Select” every time and were not disappointed. This means the bartender chooses your concoction of their choice. The bartenders and waitstaff are very experienced. I would highly recommend this stop the next time you’re in Vegas for an elegant cocktail. Happy hour is half price all cocktails which means each one is only $6. The entrance door is a little difficult to find but once you do, it opens a cave of wonders!

Great place, great music, atmosphere and drinks. However, I am giving 4 stars as the furniture is completely worn out. They could finally replace it. The leather is completely torn. Apart from that, everything else is great. Great customer service, as well.

My goodness... is all I can say. We flew in to LV to find some of the finest craft and original cocktails Vegas had to offer, and this place does not disappoint. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and the ingredients top notch. Also HALFY HOUR! all cocktails half off during their happy hour times. This is just an incredible find and a must go if you enjoy a well made cocktail.

This dump doesnt serve any milk products. Something about owners being vegan. My wife ordered a white Russian and it came back all congealed and the bartender told us they use coconut juice instead of cream in the white Russian. The drink was undrinkable and the bartender didnt take it off the tab. Tacky. Bartender was a punk and should not have a job. Next time we go there Ill out him with a name. Psych! There will be no next time,

This has quickly become one of my regular stops. Top of the line cocktails, with a drink menu that revolves month over month. The also over mixed punch bowls for large groups. Fyi - The drinks are awesome, but all food is from off-site. So you order it in house, but its from the local food trucks. For me, I would stick with the great drinks.

One of my favorite bars in the revitalized Fremont East district of Downtown Las Vegas. An extensive absinthe collection, sleek cushy design and good selection of small bites, the Downtown Cocktail Room has been my go-to bar to start my evening out. Its hidden, so if you dont know where you are going, chances are you wont be able to find it. If you do, you will be pleasantly surprised by this lounge with a live DJ almost every night.

Slick, chic, great place. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the bartender was great to us. The artisinal cocktails were all perfect, and we were babied through our first foray into the world of absinthe. Awesome spot in the downtown area.

They have like 2 areas, one might be more for beer drinkers ? But the other one is cocktails. Which are great. Host was nice, and drinks were made fast. Good spot for date night, or hanging with close friends. Its pretty dimly lit and intimate.

Very nice lounge. No table service but good cocktails. Not too big it is an intimate place. Not too much advertised and thats good because is never too crowded. On the weekends they have nice house music with good DJs playing. Even if theres not a big dancefloor you can still find the right spot to dance in front of the DJ. Suggested by a local.

Yo!! This place is absolutely amazing! Very laid back and such a chill place to just hang with friends. Also Max the bartender is just incredible, she sat and chatted with us and even took the time to figure out what we all liked so that we had a great time. 5 star for this place and 5 star for Max, check it out!!

This is a hidden gem in in the middle of Downtown Las Vegas. I say hidden because the exterior is very unassuming. Its also kind of hard to figure out how to get in. However it is the perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. It is loads of fun and the drink menu is perfect. They have old school style straight up Absinthe. That is what we were looking for and surprisingly its hard to find in Vegas without something mixed into it.

The best Bloody Mary every. This is not a lie or exaggeration seriously a really cool place. The “ speak easy”Atmosphere is totally covered knowledgeable staff and extensive knowledgeable of the menu. The bartender shook THREE drinks at once. Highly recommend.

Great drinks, very complex. They have cool one way mirrors in the bathrooms. The ambiance is so chill and nice that we spent hours there just chatting and having tasty drinks. I really liked the Killa Kiwi.

Fantastic place... If you can find the door.The bartenders here make some really good and unique drinks, if youre a fan of spicy drinks, ask for a Bangkok Surprise with ghost pepper bitters, fresh basil and ginger. It burns!As for the door, when facing the windows, the door is on your left, just push on the wall and itll open. (Theres no lights and no handle so its really hard to find).

Ive been visiting DCR since they opened in 2006(?) and after this great visit..its time to give some props...My most recent visit was Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020 at 10 PMish: The two women mixologists behind the bar were friendly, social and made some bomb cocktails. We were talking about Yelpers being all sensitive and sending bad reviews with no actual constructive feedback for businesses to work with. A big shout out to both of you for your professionalism and skills behind the bar...The infamous entrance has the hidden door you push in from the outside. Its very dark/dimly lit which provides this cool speak easy vibe. The furniture, decord, lighting and bar area gives an upscale classy vibe for the drinkers. One the weekends, theyll pump house music through the area. Loud but not too loud to carry a conversation as you get your cocktail on.My current DCR Cocktail Champ is the Die Like a Samurai: Sake, Gin, House Made Paris Tea Syrup, Lemon Zest. The Sake is warm which I think enhances the taste because its paired up well with the Tea Syrup and Gin. Very creative and dangerously tasty as a couple of these can get me to Uber home level quickly. Lets be honest, the name is also bad a$$. I love Japanese culture and this name popped for me on the menu.lolOverall, this is still a great place to grab a cocktail in the downtown area and Im glad that its survived through the years. Ive been here for dates, pre-gaming, last drink for the night, etc and DCR still delivers. Cheers!

Great locals spot right off freemont st experience. The seasonal drink menus are always enjoyable, and my favorite part of going down to freemont. Week nights are perfect, but it can get pretty loud on weekends after about 9pm. If youre looking for a quiet, relaxed spot to enjoy a unique cocktail, check this place out early in the evening, or on a week night after work.

Downtown cocktail lounge was superb! The bartender made me the most fantastic cocktails Ive ever had! The vibe was great and DJ was playing Great music! I stayed longer than I planned!!

I love a dive bar, and loved this one enough we came back from Fremont for another round an hour after leaving. Who ever heard of a dive bar refusing to serve just because one of our group slammed the door on the way in? Looked to me like they really couldve used the business too lol. Second star is only because they serve some decent absinthe.

Great little hideout right off the Fremont experience on LV Blvd. Watch out - Metal door on the left of glass inset entrance - no handle. Miss it a couple of times. Great bartender (hurry, shes preg) and server - Amber. Nice mix of concoctions for you to try.

Cool and casual vibe. The Lovelady pineapple sour was fantastic and the cocktails at the back bar were much much better and much cheaper than anything we had on the strip. great for good drinks and good conversation.

What a super chill place with superb cocktails! The only reason I took a star off was the bus loads of people that were doing a bar tour or pub crawl. Annoying... The staff did a great job in minimizing their impact.

Cant believe I never reviewed this place before! It was truly the highlight of the 21st birthday! Being able to drink absinthe at midnight (as it is the ONLY place in Vegas that serves it that late!) for my first legal drink was made an experience Ill never forget. From my bartender who made a ridiculous game out of sobering up and provided wonderful conversation, to the DELICIOUS Pumpkin Spiced drink my sister ordered... Downtown Cocktail Room is truly second to none.I give this place full stars in hopes that youll give it a try. Its truly a hidden gem that I feel needs a LOT more love.I hope to return soon and Ill bring some Mansinthe! Lol

Any time we are downtown, we make sure we end up here. We love their drinks and are excited when they change their seasonal menu so we can try out their new stuff. They have live music on Saturday nights (maybe other nights too, but Ive only been there on Saturdays).

Ok spot. Strip prices. Dark and hard to spot. And for a local, thats a good thing. Friendly staff and laid back vibe. Lots of mixologist features to enjoy if youre having a night on Fremont and want a dip in for a very well crafted drink.

I only go to the section with the jukebox and the TV and I have only been there on weekdays. I am from NYC and I can clearly picture this bar in many NYC neighborhoods. It just has that type of vibe/atmosphere that is hard to put into words. The bartender with the glasses is nice and so is the door guy, Alex. Once I noticed the alley entrance as I was passing by on the bus on my way to work I said to myself I have to ckeck out that place.

I went with my husband for my birthday. I read all these GREAT reviews and had such high hopes for this place, but was totally let down. Our bartender was soo dull, not interested in small talk or making anything off menu. I could understand if it was packed and he was busy, but that was not the case. We came WAY before peak hours and the bar was quite empty. I had said multiple things to him that were completely ignored. The guy sitting next to me even leaned over and said he clearly isnt interested in anything I have to say. I liked the speak easy environment, but the bartender was really just bumming us out so we had to leave.

Came here to waste some time before our red eye flight and it was the best bar we visited during our trip. Went off menu and asked for drinks based on flavors that I liked and Max made two delicious drinks. Would recommend to anyone visiting Vegas.

The dj was good but the reason we stayed was the live instrumentals. They completed the music and gave a level of entertainment that wasnt expected. We will definitely be back for the live music. Oh and the drinks were pretty damn good as well.

The atmosphere is great here but you have to know how to get in. Its kind of a hidden entrance. They make the best mojitos. And after you order one you can chill at the bar tables or one of their couches for awhile.

We had such a great time at this place . The place has good vibes and the music was on point . The drinks are particularly strong and very creative . It’s well worth a visit if you are around downtown ( if you weren’t planning on going off strip , you definitely should ) . I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends

Waitresse need customer service training.If you dont have correct ingredients for drinks you should inform customer before you make, serve and charge. When you serve drink look customer in face to see if OK. When you are informed drink is not ok waitress should offer a fresh or alternative drink before customer has to ask.After we moved from bar to seats we were ignored until we left. No waitor/waitress asked if we needed another drink.

I love the atmosphere here and the bathrooms are interesting. I like how the place is a little off the beaten path, you may not know its there until someone points it out. The music isnt bad, but its a little too loud. My biggest problem is the drinks are pretty pricy.

The secret cocktail bar in the old part og Las Vegas. Dark and hidden behind smoked glass and curtains, you need to know what you are looking for. The bartenders are young and helpful, even if the selection of booze and beers is somewhat eclectic.

Hip downtown martini bar. Dimly lit, cool vibe, nice clientele. Enjoyed the Killa Kiwi martini- with vodka, vanilla bean, kiwi and lemon. Delicious- not too sweet, not too sour. Whiskey sour was also made well. Cheers!

In the dank portions of fremont street, youll find a place so trendy, they dont have a door handle. you might not want to go here last, but the drinks are delicious have things like coconut water in them. the lightings so low, you can hardly see the people seated on some other black leather arrangement next to you, but the crowd is ecclectic! you wont find your run of the mill bros here.

I walked in and there was no one at the front so I proceeded to walk around to find the bar or a seat. I accidently stumbled into a closed area and a hostess immediately yelled at me I dont know what you think youre doing in here get out I had been in this place for less than 5 minutes at this point.

Kinda dumb they dont let you just order a bottle of liquor at all time. They lost business since we only grabbed a single cocktail each with 13 people and left to go else where. Plus, theyre super disorganized here. It took forever just to order...then get our drinks...then trying to close out. Its ridiculous.

One of the local chill spots. Nice atmosphere, good vibes and creepy bathroom stall where you can see out into the bathroom, but nobody from the bathroom can see in. Only place Ive ever been to that makes having to take a dump in a public bathroom kind of fun.

Very cool. They have Fernet. However again downtown right off Fremont. I suppose they tried to keep the riffraff out by making the door appear secret however once inside its pretty cool.
