I was staying at Mandalay Bay for a few days and this became my go-to spot for breakfast. If youre an early riser you can have the place to yourself from 7 to 8. My server was great. She actually remembered my entire name and greeted me on day 2! The food was good. I had the avocado toast each morning and enjoyed it.

Ok - I couldn’t wait to try this place - but kinda wish we had done hash house after all. The prices were high and my eggs Benedict while tasty were a very small serving size. The gumbo was literally blandest I’ve had. The chicken & waffles was the best part! No live music when we went on a Monday for brunch- but still lively atmosphere - slow on service and they weren’t “full” of people. It was a nearly 30 min wait to be seated - seemed understaffed for the crowds that day. Disappointed for our first visit - might try again on our next visit- after we give Hash house a try! 😜

Both dinner and breakfast were well prepared and tasty. Breakfast here felt like the food was prepared and not so much a conveyor belt. Wait staff always smiling and friendly and drinks were good. Did not go when music was happening but understand it can get quite busy. And if convention at the hotel go for breakfast before 8am or after 9am to avoid the convention crowds.

We watched a Santana concert here. Nice acoustics and set-up. Unfortunately, we were not able to get tables so we were standing for more than 3 hours (including lining up and waiting for the concert to start). It was quite taxing for our senior citizen feet and backs. We just had drinks, so I cant comment on their food.

Absolutely the worst service Ive ever experienced on the strip and the food was terrible! I recommend you stay far away from here!We were seated and told our server would be right over. After 10-15 mins we thought perhaps we werent getting service because we were waiting for 2 more. Our friends arrived and the 4 of us sat there for another 13 mins (I was keeping track now) before our server came to take our drink order. It had been so long we gave her our food order as well. Our drinks came another 9 mins later. Then we sat and waited 41 mins for our meal to be served by a runner... not our server. The food was barely luke warm, the brisket tasted 4 weeks old and super fatty. The bun was soggy & the fries were cold. Needless to say that meal was not eaten... part of the sandwich and none of the fries. My macn cheese was on par with something youd pull out of the. dumpster. The noodles were barely luke warm.. the cheese was super gritty like it had been made weeks ago and they couldnt get it to mix properly... I flagged the server down to ask for more lemonade. She didnt even ask if anyone else needed more drinks. The other 3 at the table were all out of drinks and they all had alcohol. Youd think shed want to get more of those drinks on the tab over my free refill of lemonade... but no. The server never once asked how our food was & when uneaten meals were passed back to her she didnt even clue in that something maybe wrong. We sat without drnks... waiting for our bill for over 20 mins. Once we got our bills (separated) and realized she wasnt coming back anytime soon we went to the till to pay. This waitress was absolutely horrible... lacked any sort of personality... never smiled... didnt check on us... didnt refill drinks... and showed a complete lack of customer service! I implore you to spend your money elsewhere & dont waste it on bad food & terrible service!

The food was good, not great. The ribs were overcooked and dry. The mac & cheese was awesome. The gumbo was just okay. Its not very spicy at all.The service was phenomenal. Greater with a smile, and were seated right away despite being busy.I give 4 stars because of the overcooked ribs. Theres only a few restaurants in the immediate area. I would recommend House Of Blues to stop by for a bite to eat.

My wife and I headed here for breakfast. I had the chicken and waffles with gravy, and my wife had the country skillet. The coffee was good and they put the carafe on the table for you. The service was fantastic. The big chunk of chicken was a bit dry. It made it harder to eat. The gravy was fantastic... but I needed more for both the waffles and the chicken. The country skillet was super flavorful. My wife let me have a little. :)Overall, decent pricing for Vegas. About the right amount of portions.

Concert was great , but it’s one star because of the bathroom attendant in the men’s restroom. It really put a damper on my experience the way he treated myself and others. He made it to where you could not grab your own paper towel. Made sure the machines were out so he has to ask him. And if you didn’t tip him he was rude. Please, get rid of the bathroom attendants that try to manipulate for tips and I’ll change my review to 4-5 stars!

Excellent venue for concerts. Sound & view both superb. Loge seats are very comfortable, room for knees if you are taller. Bars located within the concert area. Attendants in bathroom. Clean. Only complaint is the process of going in & out of the venue. Need more expedient way - perhaps more staff & open more doors. Pic from Santana concert.

Santana was fantastic. VIP tables are the way to go rather than standing room. Read all the fine print. Tables are sold as a package for 2 or 4, and some include dinner and some a bottle of wine. You get a badge. However, since it is a couple, you only get one pin and bag souvenir per couple! My bad. I went with my brother and he paid me for his ticket but we could only get the one. Also, we did not drink wine, and I didnt realize we didnt have to get it. There was no one to even give it to, so yeah, 50.00 or so extra. However, our waitress was sweet about it and even brought us a little box of sweets. I dont even feel too bad. The band was worth it! I would go here again. It is small enough to see well with high energy and NO smoke. Well done.

House of Blues is great for a show, dinner or even breakfast. We went for breakfast on our last trip and it was absolutely phenomenal. We sat at the bar but the place is huge and has a great ambiance, as we’ve sat in the restaurant for dinner as well. They also have the Music Hall if you want to catch a show.As far as the restaurant, breakfast was excellent. The Bloody Mary’s we’re spot on and the food was phenomenal. The steak and eggs may have been the best meal I had in Vegas. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the the breakfast menu. Dinner was really good as well.If your in the Mandalay Bay you have to stop in, not a far walk from the other connected hotels either. Would’ve been a 5 by service was average and the bartender was fairly rude.

While we waited 2 hours+ for concert, they were nice enough to bring menus so we could order and eat in line. Food was good. Ordered the barbecue bacon cheeseburger in line and the churro fries inside the venue. We stood on the floor for the opening act and moved up by the bar for the main act and had a great view. Standing room only was fine, only one person passed out, they kept the air pretty low.

My juicy Lucy was very dry overcooked and they came out with fries instead of the Mac and cheese (mistake). Staff took my whole order back into the kitchen for ten minutes. And we waited so long for her to bring the bill we didn’t want wait for her to correct it.Our food took a long time and we had a hard time getting our servers attention for refill etc.Food was a big let down. We ordered 2 wedge salads…which weren’t wedges at all. They were the tiniest cores and end (bitter) pieces of Romaine lettuce with burnt bacon and the bottom of the bag crumbs from the crouton bag :(I was starving and didn’t wanna wait anymore so we just ate it anyway.Bummer.Bf got shrimp and grits that were actually ok but super spicy.Love the art and decor :)

We stumbled across The House Of Blues Restaurant on our way to a show. I was super excited, because as I remembered The House OF Blues has pretty tasty food especially the Chicken Tenders. My experience was flat !!!! The service was awful, we sat there for 10 minutes without being greeted by our server. It was only when I requested a Manager that we were greeted . The manager was flat as well. At that point we decided to order two appetizers. The BBQ BRISKET NACHOS AND CHICKEN TENDERS. THE FOOD PRESENTATION WAS ON POINT!! THE FOOD WAS TASTELESS AND UNFLAVORABLE . THE CHEESE WAS LUKE WARM AT BEST, THE BRISKET WAS TOUGH, DRY AND LACKED FLAVOR!!!! THE CHICKEN TENDERS WERE HOT BUT AGAIN LACKED SEASON !!!! THE SERVER NEVER ASKED IF WE WANTED BEVERAGES, SO WE JUST SKIPPED BEVERAGES ALL TOGETHER FOR FEAR THAT IT WOULD BE TO TIME CONSUMING. WE HAD AN HOUR & HALF BEFORE OUR SHOW STARTED. FOR 2 APPETIZERS WE WERE THERE FOR AN HOUR OF DISAPPOINTMENT!! IVE BEEN IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY AS A SERVER FOR YEARS. THE HOUSE OF BLUES IN LAS VEGAS WAS DEFINITELY A MISS!!!! JUST TO BE CLEAR IT WAS NOT BUSY. WE GOT THERE AT 5:25 PM AND THERE WAS NOT A SHOW OR ANY EVENTS GOING ON AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF SEATING. THE SERVER NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED!!!! Singing the blues from start to finish.....Let me start with the best meal first. Our daughter ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection and had a side of garlic fries (why they dont include those with the burger?.....)Im not sure why this place got such great reviews. Charging $23 for a smash burger, we expected something much more substantial. Instead, it was the size of an In and Out burger and with a small side of tasteless fries. We ordered the charred Brussel sprouts that were swimming in oil. Absolutely gross. I ordered water because, at minimum, a drink starts at $18. Our waitress seemed offended after she asked me how everything was (why ask?).I truly felt ripped off after coming to this establishment.

I had Cajun chicken pasta and key lime pie. Everything was delicious and presented nicely. The restaurant decor looked and felt like a blues restaurant. BUT I just can’t understand how a blues restaurant doesn’t play the blues. All I heard playing was pop and 80’s popish music. A MAJOR PART of the experience of dining in an establishment such as this is hearing and feeling the authenticity of the blues music. I specifically chose this eatery because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BLUES. It may not be important to other patrons BUT it may be. PLEASE REPLACE YOUR POP MUSIC with the blues. It really is the ONLY THING MISSING.

This was the second time we ate here. First time was for breakfast last year and it was decent, but Id avoid the scrambled eggs. They were like the type of eggs youd get in a school cafeteria. When we came here for lunch yesterday it was a pretty good. The burgers my son and wife got were good. My brisket sandwich wasnt really brisket, as it was more like medium sliced roast beef. Not much smoke flavor, and it said there was garlic aoli but I didnt really taste any of that. It ate dry but the beef flavor was fine. Felt trashy cause I had to dip it in ranch cause it was very dry. Ill also mention we ordered a wedge salad which they cut into strips. Never seen that. The bummer was that they served it on a hot plate which didnt sit well with the lettuce and ranch dressing. (Hot food, hot plate. Cold food, cold plate.) Also strange that they brought a few cups of ranch out for us on a hot plate, which turned the ranch warm. Basic stuff the kitchen staff should know...Price wasnt too bad though, for Vegas... Ill say the service was very quick and friendly. I also passed by at night and there was live music which seemed fun.

However , they wouldnt give it to me unless I paid another 20.00. I told the photographer I already paid for it but she wouldnt give it to me. I thought that was 100% poor service since she knew it was a left behind photo that was left at the front reception area. The young lady was unfriendly when we asked for a table for 12 with 7 people now and 5 people coming a little later. That doesnt fit it with how their system works. Eventually they made it work but only with a more friendly employee. On the table were some special offer food menus. We tried to order some food from the regular menu and some from the special menu. We were told were not allowed to order anything from the special menu unless were sitting at the bar. They couldnt explain why the special menus were on the table. Eventually they let us order what we want. The food tasted so so. A little later both myself and my wife felt a little puky. Maybe it was the food or drink from this restaurant? My beer was delivered after the meal and I ended up with a to-go cup and left the restaurant to drink it. Sandwich was slightly warm, fries cold and soggy. Saw The Damned and The Darts. The venue is a nice setup and decent sound but they nickel and dime you every chance they get. A 4 ounce rum and coke (made with Pepsi by the way) will run you $11. Chairs and barstools are removed in an effort to entice you in to VIP seating which requires spending $100 on food and drinks, which then entitles you to the roped off seating area with the tables and chairs. The bathroom has an attendant whom expects a buck or two for giving you a paper towel after you wash your hands. Had to sit on the casino floor just to rest our feet between the bands.

Been here many times in the last 20 years. We went this last Friday and its had a few changes. There is GA upstairs as well now whereas before it was only the first level. For some reason they wanted everyone going to the upper levels to take their worlds slowest elevator which was aggravating. Upon leaving an employee finally opened the stairs to let us go down as the elevator was brutally packed as well as slow.We also didnt see any employees on the upper levels to ask if we were in The right area befpre the show.5 stars if it wasnt for that elevator.

It looked packed but we got a table for two within 10 mins. We got water and coffee pretty much right away and wait staff was pretty attentive. The food was good. The shrimp and cornbread appetizer we got had so much flavor and the sauce was amazing. The gumbo was just ok, nothing special about it. When you buy a front row seat, you expect to be able to see. They have a rail that blocks your view, then the security comes around to tell you that you can’t stand. So I’m at a Tesla rock concert, can’t see and can’t stand. Even if your favorite band is playing here, avoid this place and see them in L.A. Maybe if you can get a table, your view might be good. (We tried). GA floor could be good, if they didn’t oversell it to an unsafe capacity. Similar experience for social distortion a few months ago. I’m done with this place. If you pay for a table there is a small credit towards drinks and food, but be prepared to spend a lot for drinks.
