Absolutely one of the best dinners I’ve been to. They have one in LA and I’ve never been but decided to try the Las Vegas location while I was here. The entrance already makes you feel welcome and the low-light ambiance around the entire restaurant adds for a relaxing feel. The food was phenomenal, I got the miso Chilean seabass. In my opinion, tofu on the plate could be warmer and veggies touched up with some more sauce. But very minor details compared to the whole plate itself which I rate very highly. Cocktails were cool and lively, and the banana pudding for dessert is a must have!! Will definitely be heading back to this place again.
Year after year this place never fails. The culinary experience is always top. Do yourself a favor and just get the full chef experience.Everything and I means EVERYTHING is amazing but as always I must highlight something that just stuck with my tastebuds. The sea bass skewers, unbelievably flavour from such a simple dish.I’ll be coming back again!
What a cool place. We weren’t sure at first because from the front there is what looks like bath tubs with flowers in it and we were really unsure but it was a very cool place with great atmosphere (minus the one load bar patron) and the service and food was amazing 🤩In fact u can’t wait to come back!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐My experience at Tao Las Vegas was absolutely fantastic! Despite the restaurant being busy, we were seated shortly after our 10 PM reservation. Our server was prompt and attentive, immediately offering us drinks. We opted for the chefs choice menu, priced at around $100 per person, and requested the snapper, our favorite, be included. The food was nothing short of phenomenal! From the appetizers to the sushi, main courses, and dessert, every dish was exquisite. The portions were so generous that we had to take some home.Tao is always a must-visit for us when were in Vegas, and its definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you can dine there. Cant wait to go back!
I recently had a memorable dining experience at Tao Asian Bistro & Nightclub. The atmosphere at this restaurant is absolutely outstanding, creating a vibrant and energetic ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience.Although the service at the lounge initially left much to be desired, the manager quickly stepped in to address our concerns and took care of us. This level of attentiveness and willingness to make things right is commendable and greatly improved our overall impression of the restaurant. Now, lets talk about the food! We ordered a variety of dishes, including the orange chicken, filet mignon, and chicken gyoza. Each dish was prepared with great attention to detail and showcased the flavors of Asian cuisine. However, the star of the show was the giant cookie fortune. It was absolutely delicious and a must-try for dessert lovers!Overall, my experience at Tao Asian Bistro & Nightclub was a delightful one. The outstanding atmosphere, combined with the friendly and attentive service, made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend trying their giant cookie fortune for a sweet treat that will leave you craving for more.
Another great experience dining at TAO. Each visit fails to disappoint, and my expectations are highly exceeded. Atmosphere, service, drinks and food were outstanding. Every dish we tried was filled with flavor only leaving you wanting more. Highly recommend the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Sea Bass, Duck Fried Rice and the Potted Carrot Cake. That being said, I would order every dish we had again. Shout out to JP for the incredible service and knowledge to help enhance our culinary experience. 11/10 and will be returning.Location: Inside Palazzo at the Grand Canal Shoppes
We had a wonderful dinner there. The best dining in this Vegas trip. Reserved a table ahead and the service was excellent. The sever introduced the menu sincerely, cleaned the table between the courses, and filled us water in right time. The vibe was exotic and romantic. In terms of their food and drinks, interesting, diverse and delicious. I love Tao-tini very much, good presenting and fruity favor. Satay chicken was our starter, flavored with cilantro and peanut sauce. Grilled tuna with fried veggies is brilliant combination. I was literally amazed by the tenderness of tuna. Duck fried rice was a bit of dry, but tasty with duck and veggies combo. The dessert mandarin was also amazingly presenting, yea, looked like an orange, but several layers of texture. Try it!
TAO in Vegas is a bit of an institution and the food and cocktail menu lives up to the hype. The atmos is dark and moody but there is a liveliness to the place, which makes it fun. The drinks menu is extensive and the cocktails are fantastic. The zero alcohol cocktail Pink Dove was light and refreshing, perfect if wanting to steer clear of booze.Dumplings are a solid choice if in a hurry. We had show tickets and our dining was a little rushed, the staff were brilliant in accommodating us and ensured the drinks and food were speedy (we ran late for our booking due to traffic and hotel check-in delays). All up a good experience, the only flaw is the location - its amongst the the Grand Canal Shoppes so the location doesnt feel very premium as you have to trudge through the shops to get to it, definitely deserves a more premium location
Waiting was bad. We had a reservation, went 10 mins ahead, still had to wait almost 45 mins. That was the only bad part of our dinner. Ambience was wonderful and food was awesome. We had & green fried rice and pad Thai. Both items were very tasty. Best was chicken gyoza. It was probably the best food item we had in Vegas trip.
Great restaurant with great service the vibes were immaculate. I highly recommend the scallops with red curry and basil. It was delectable the vibes. I repeat where immaculate for those who are visiting the Las Vegas trip and are interested in some Asian fusion cuisine that is to die for do not skip out on tao
Tao is a beautiful experience with a dark but upbeat vibe. The food is fresh, plated with care and perfectly spiced not overtly so. I had the pleasure of dining at the sushi bar and got to see the care taken in preparing the stunning sushi dishes. This was mesmerizing to watch. There was both beauty and art in the food. I also met and had a wonderful conversation with another person seated next to me at that sushi bar. My server Justin recommended excellent choices in all categories. My dinner was the best I had in Vegas this trip. Note the wait was long despite having a reservation but luckily since I was dining solo I hot to have the sushi bar seating. I recommend highly but if going on a Saturday night expect high volume in sound and people. I enjoyed sea bass, lobster dumplings and sweet and spicy cauliflower.
5⭐️ for the lobster wontons in shiitake miso broth and the popular miso-glazed Chilean sea bass skewers 😍 probably the best meal I’ve ever had! Very satisfying considering the amount of meat, and perfect seasoning. Price is more on expensive side but totally worth it for the quality of food we had.The other dishes we ordered were good but not as mind-blowing as these two.
Rob Ruiz was great. He got us on the list for the nightclub. He texted us to let us know it was time to get in line. They have a dress code, thank God! We watched a man that was standing in front of us trying to get in wearing his shorts! He was MAD and a JERK! NO SHORTS, they asked him to change to pants and he could come back. He asked “what is the definition of pants”. We watched him pull his pants down exposing his red underwear. He pulled his socks up to try to meet his shorts. He also had a mullet! I think they were very professional on how they handled the situation. It was so excited to bring my two guest from Japan to go dancing. They had a blast. I guess the entertainment was fantastic, the DJ was great, so we’re all the dancers. Thank you Rob!I WOULD RECOMMEND
Came here with my boyfriend on a Saturday night for his birthday. We had reservations and waited about 10 min for our table. We sat in a nice large booth. The waitress was very nice and attentive, even though they were busy. The place is a little dark, but not too dark, as we could still read the menus without extra light (we’re in our 40’s and 50’s). They play good music - some from the ‘90’s and ‘00’s. It’s a little loud but we could still easily carry on a conversation. It’s just a good vibe in there. We ordered drinks - beer and a lychee martini. The martini was delicious but I quickly realized that I was allergic to something in there (I’ve had lychee many times before so it must have been something else). My face broke out in a red rash. Luckily I had Benadryl in my purse (no idea why) and it went away by the time we were done with dinner. Our waitress was very nice and took the martini off our bill and offered to provide me with a list of ingredients so I can determine what I was allergic to. Anyway, we ordered the steamed chicken gyoza, chicken fried rice, orange chicken, pork lo mein, and sweet and sour cauliflower. It was all so good! I’ve never been to TAO before but we will definitely be back. The portion sizes are large and we discovered we ordered way too much food. But it was so good! You get free entry into the nightclub if you dine there. But, we decided that our clubbing days are behind us and went downstairs to gamble instead. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend coming here. Our bill with the food, one beer and one soda was about $140.Steamed chicken gyoza 10/10Chicken fried rice 10/10Pork lo mein 7/10Sweet and sour cauliflower 7/10Service 10/10Ambience 9/10
Do better! Some staff running , others scrolling or chatting. We had to wait for our reserved table 30 minutes ( yet there were plenty of empty spots) and could not get served in bar/ lounge area - whilst the hostess scrolled, and we watched other staff bussing the lounge tables. The bartender was hardest , fastest working chic! - finally we went to bar and got her attention . We had a terribly crappy little table right in front of the WC -however our server Serena was awesome and the food delish . (We did $125 per head tasting menu.) although duck not as good as M 32 , it was good. Would be nice to decant sake into chill pot. We were celebrating a significant birthday - yet no acknowledgement or anything special provided . We likely will not return. The TAO magic is gone.
Came here with a large group booking and got seated in the nice back room.Good:- So many food options! I liked the fried rice and lobster as well as the pad see ew type dish- The fortune cookie dessert was super hilarious - it came with great mochi ice cream though that I ate a ton of- Sweet and sour pork was delicious and so was the fishBad:- Super dark interior- Super expensive, dont think Ive paid this much for a dinner in a whileOverall this was a cool experience, really upscale and expensive though .
Never in a million years would I recommend Tao Las Vegas to anyone any longer. My nephew 21st birthday was torn in shambles. My nephew flew out from many states away to enjoy his birthday. I suggested Tao, We came on time seated right away. That was the best part of the experience. For this to be a high end restaurant I was astonished by the customer service we were given. We received are food which was cold. Then my nephew was waiting on Tao to bring out some sort happy birthday celebration dessert which never happened. The manager came by an apology’s but the waiter came back and said sorry there in the back preparing food with attitudes and I don’t want to deal with that. I never ever in all years of fine dining got treated in such a matter. I guest due to being African American decent this is what we deserve right ? I should have went with my nephews first choice. Never again 479.00 dollars wasted
Where do I even begin? We were running a few minutes behind for our reservations and they were very understanding. Tondre is a darling.Passion, our server was top notch! She has the best recommendations and was so accommodating to our picky table lol I had the Thai duck fried rice with their signature old fashion. The spring mountain roll was also very delicious! The atmosphere is pure bliss. I was lucky to be seated in front of the beautiful giant Buddha.Thank you Tao I will definitely be back.Much love from Texas ❤️
We went for an evening dinner reservation. The pork bao was very good. The duck rolls were also good, the hoisin sauce that came with them was amazing. Our cocktails were also very good. Slightly pricey but the decode was great. It was very loud like a cafeteria, we couldnt really talk to each other. We enjoyed the huge fortune cookie but the filling was very basic. The chi creme brulee was very good, full of spice and perfect texture.
Such a great dining experience! We did have to wait 15 minutes or so for our table that we had places a reservation for, but they have great seating inside the restaurant and a bar for people while they wait. The venue is a really cool experience in itself. The food was amazing, with the giant fortune cooking stealing the show for us! The service was impeccable as well, with the servers being quick and fun to interact with (we like it when people have personalities!). Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience in LV.
$1 tip and given the quality of the service that was generous! the food was nearly as bad! the sushi was slightly worse than what my teenager gets at the local gas station! i actually left more than i eat because it was soo bad. basis the reviews i am looking forward to seeing how the late night atmosphere is supposed to be good. if it is worth it i’ll adjust the reviewupdate. i eat nothing else that day and ended up with mild food poisoning. avoid!
Great experience with a hitch. Id like to shout out our waiter, Jack. Excellent service!! For recommendations were on point. All said and done, I wouldnt order any alcoholic beverages. Seems like they were either premixed or they were at the bar long enough for the water to dilute the drink. So after having a great experience dining we decided to go to the club which was upstairs. Took some pics here and there. Why did the security say we had to leave get in line then get our bags checked to come back and pay 30 for ladies and 40 for guys. To go upstairs, we just walked by the same stairs logically, This doesnt make sense if Im spending from the restaurant keep me spending in the club. management. This, by far, is poor service!! Its this type of series that will be your demise, just like blockbuster video.
Upon visiting Tao, I was immediately struck by the inviting ambience, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The culinary journey began with standout dishes such as the black pepper chicken, orange chicken, and lobster fried rice, each boasting a perfect balance of flavors and textures that left a lasting impression. What truly set this dining experience apart was the unique positioning of our table next to a Buddha statue, offering a one-of-a-kind ambiance that added to the overall charm of the evening.Throughout the meal, the attentive service further elevated the experience, ensuring that every need was met with efficiency and professionalism. From start to finish, the food surpassed expectations, with each dish showcasing culinary expertise and attention to detail. As I reflect on my time at Tao, its clear that this establishment has earned a place on my list of favorites. I eagerly anticipate returning to sample more of their delectable offerings and will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family seeking an exceptional dining experience.
Five stars all around. This is a must go when in Vegas. We stayed at the Venetian so we just had to go downstairs. The entrance was fabulous with tubs filled with water and floating flowers. I cant say enough about the ambiance, it is out of this world. We were seated near a huge Buddha statue which is in the center. Food, drinks and service is top notch. You have to make the Reservations, dress up and enjoy.
Our waiter, Justin made our experience two nights in a row absolutely amazing! He made suggestions for us and let us know what was spicier than what we are accustomed to for food and for drinks as well! Made our honeymoon extra special! The Crispy Pork Bao Buns (super sweet and fluffy!), Chicken Gyoza with Chili Garlic Sauce, and The Chinese Chicken Sausage (slight kick, nothing too hot) and Shrimp Fried Rice (sweet, no spice) and the Giant Fortune Cookie (recommend having for a large party!) and the Tao-Tini Cocktails are all to die for! Highly recommend Tao and Justin!
Interesting place to have dinner, but its a bit too loud to have a good dining experience. I had to almost shout to people sitting next to me. Dark walking in and really hard to see a menu without a good light on the phone. Order appetizers came out quickly, but to me, it was not fresh. Tried the sushi and had a really good presentation, but the taste was not even close to the presentation at all. One of the sides we ended up sending back as it was just poorly cooked. I guess it would have been nice to have gone over to a nice steak house and less noise.
This place was such a great find. The service was fantastic. Very attentive and are able to explain the entire menu. The even have a bathroom attendee where theres colognes, mints etc. The food was amazing. We got the sea bass and it was insanely flavorful and tender. Highly recommend trying it out. The noodle dish was a little sweet for me but still had tons of flavor. Overalls definitely recommend this place
We’ve been to TAO in Manhattan many times. This is the first time we’ve tried the one in Vegas. The food is on par with the other location. The service was really good. Our server was very attentive and efficient. The host stand was very accommodating and the bartenders were friendly and also very helpful. We enjoyed our dining experience at TAO.
Dining at Tao Asian Bistro in Las Vegas transformed my mom’s birthday into an exquisite tapestry of culinary delights and joyful memories! From the moment we entered, the atmosphere vibrated with an upbeat and vibrant energy, whisking us into a world where traditional Asian elegance seamlessly blends with a lively, contemporary vibe.Angie, the manager, truly epitomizes stellar hospitality, ensuring that every detail of our celebration was executed with perfection. Her team echoed this unparalleled service, treating us not merely as guests, but as part of the Tao family, making the birthday celebration genuinely special.Ah, the Espresso Martini – a cocktail that danced with rich, robust flavors, harmoniously uniting the bitter and the sweet, proved to be a splendid beginning to our gastronomic journey. As for the Chilean Sea Bass – a masterpiece of culinary artistry. It was cooked to perfection, its delicate, flaky texture and rich, buttery flavor catapulting it to the status of my favorite dish.Every course seemed to tell a story, guiding us through a variety of tantalizing flavors and textures, all while maintaining a harmonious balance that is so emblematic of Asian cuisine. Tao’s menu, an exciting fusion of various Asian influences, had us journeying through a flavorful odyssey, with each dish outshining the last.Tao Asian Bistro not only provided us with a meal but crafted an unforgettable experience that will linger in our memories and palates. A million thanks to Angie and the incredible staff for making my moms birthday not just a meal, but a celestial celebration of flavors, emotions, and togetherness. We are undeniably looking forward to our next dining adventure in your captivating culinary haven!
The food, ambience and service was amazing. We were vegetarian and there were three vegetarian items on the menu. We ordered all three - vegan dumplings, pad thai and vegan sushi rolls. The food was really nice. We also ordered mandarin for dessert. The look of the dessert was amazing, it looked like a mandarin, however, the taste was not that great, the balance of sourness and sweetness for off and also there were not many textures in the dessert. Other than that everything was great. I just wished there were more vegetarian options for us to select from.
We went in to celebrate my friends birthday! I arrived a little early and I waited 7 minutes for my friend to arrive. When she got there we were seated right away. We had been there in awhile. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the place was still kept up! The service was great! But, the food is absolutely delicious! Thats what I remember the food!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cant wait to come back! Keep doing a great job!👍🏾👍🏾
The entire experience at Tao was outstanding. Beginning the super friendly an efficient host staff when you arrive. We were a little early so we enjoyed a glass of wine in the lounge area. Great music, perfect lighting, comfortable surroundings, what va treat. In the dining area we had all of the perfect vibes from the enormous floating Buddah, and the intrigue of what we think are dozens of ancient smoking pipes displays elegantly on the wall. For our pallets the spicy tuna tartare on the crispy rice was splendid. The tuna was perfect and the crispness of the rice was certainly memorable. The filet pepper steak was literally melt in your mouth delicious. The miso glazed sea bass was flaky, sumptuous, and splendidly prepared. I hung on every wonderful bite. We added the triple pork fried rice as a side. Each mouthful was a surprise as to which taste sensation would delight our taste buds. Ibfeel the cost was a good value, the food, the ambiance, the exceptional staff was worth every cent. Our server, Jacob R was perfect and charming as he navigated us through the menu, guiding us wonderfully to the experience we so much enjoyed.
We had an excellent experience at Tao. The atmosphere in this place is really awesome, its dark and mysterious yet the acoustics are good. The service was excellent. Our server kept our waters full and was very knowledgeable regarding the menu. He was on top of everything and nothing took long to arrive. The food was excellent. We had the orange chicken, the lobster kimchi fried rice, the short ribs, and a few appetizers. All of the items were excellent, if you go ask your server how to order because most items are a la carte so you want to order correctly.
Food here is amazing, immaculate even. Service as well for dining was superb. Prices are affordable, not that If you have a party of 8, in our case we had to do one check or up to 4 cards. I know that’ll play a part in most people’s experience here.Anyways,The nightclub staff outside are beyond rude and disrespectful. I am a masc presenting lesbian with a short haircut, not a MAN. 7 times in a row kept calling us men, didn’t allow us to even enter cause they didn’t believe we were men. Absolutely ridiculous, wish the staff for the dining were the same for the nightclub. What I just experienced is why I’m leaving this overall one star, I won’t beg to go into a club that’s plain disrespectful and plays mid to average music with performers no one cares for. This is Vegas, don’t understand what’s the issue at this point. This has been my only negative experience ever in this beautiful city, this club is overly pretentious and for what
We had a great meal. Chose to do one of their package offers with apps, sushi, and entrees. All of it was fabulous. They catered it to the types of proteins we wanted. It was outstanding, as well as the service. Our server Dylan was excellent and met our timeline.
What a great experience! The ambiance in this restaurant is absolutely amazing. Decorating is perfect though it’s a bit dark. The best cocktails I’ve tasted in a while made with fresh fruit and flowers. Food comes out very fast and piping hot. We did t have a reservation, so we got there a 5pm opening and was seated right away. I don’t have any complaints, but I do want to point out that the portions are very small and everything is shareable. Keep this in mind while ordering.
It was really amazing and beautiful night for me to celebrate my anniversary in this restaurant. They served really delicious food and their service was so good. All the things were fresh and tasty. In the night club we enjoyed a lot and they put marked on my hand which was very cute.I really enjoyed and love to go again.
I have been to Tao before and it was delicious with an amazing ambience and great service. However, I’ve heard that since opening up multiple locations it has lost a step… I must say I disagree. We had a great large party dining experience. The ambience remains grand with great service at our table. We also went with a tasting menu the waiter customized for us (2 people were vegetarian) and it was perfect with a little bit of everything. The desserts were super grand and delicious, bass cooked perfectly but I must say the duck took the cake and was absolutely delicious. I still highly recommend a Tao dining experience when visiting Las Vegas.
10/10 recommend, you will not be disappointed dining here. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful and all the food was incredible. I ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly. Dylan was our server and he did amazing! He took care of us and gave us a great experience. We will definitely be returning (:
I came here for a nightclub experience overall is was great. Purchased tickets online which was one of the worst experiences because the Tao group does not accept their own gift cards for venue tickets which is very odd and they dont display that on their website. We still had to stand in line even with our purchase tickets they did stamp you with some invisible stamp the club itself is in the beautiful Venetian hotel! I mean standing there and looking at all the beauty made standing in line okay because as you know the Venetian is very beautiful property we did have to stand outside and which is also a beautiful scene. Once inside the establishment it was very packed of course it was New Years Eve, the music Genre was hip Hop for the most part the DJ was okay, me personally I like a mix of music. The ambiance and the overall architecture of the inside of the club is magnificent is so beautiful it is something totally different than what you see in your everyday nightclubs, the drink prices of course were a little much like for regular size cup may have been $25 for a cocktail. Yet youre in Vegas and you are in a high-end establishment so you got to pay for things like that. I suggest going somewhere else for drinks and coming to something like this for the party! I personally loved it and will recommend and I will definitely come back.
I cant say enough good things about Tao in the Venetian. Ive been here multiple times, and it never fails to impress. The restaurants Chinese ambiance, complete with a stunning massive statue in the middle, creates an immersive dining experience. The service is always top-notch, although the dim lighting can be a bit of a drawback. Now, lets talk about the food. The fresh-made sushi at Tao is a must-try for any sushi lover. The Miso glazed Sea Bass skewers are simply divine, with a perfect balance of flavors that almost reaches perfection. The black pepper chili chicken is bursting with flavor, and the imperial Wagyu ribeye is always a winner, with its juicy and buttery texture. Dont forget to order a side of fried rice to complement the entire meal. Its a wow moment from start to finish.
The restaurant has a very lavish setting and the decor is stunning. The atmosphere was very loud, but it’s Vegas so you can expect that. The food was delicious and the service was great. For dinner we ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and the Chinese Sausage and Shrimp Fried Rice with a Fried Egg. The food service was pretty quick and the drinks were delicious. Our server asked if we were celebrating anything and I told him it was my husband’s birthday so he brought him a scoop of strawberry sorbet with a candle. It was thoughtful and made our experience amazing. I would definitely return to Tao the next time I’m in town.
Tao is a beautiful restaurant. The presentation of their food was good, but the food itself could use work. Nothing blew us away as other establishments with similar pricing have. Nice atmosphere. One and done. Will not be returning…unless for desert which was delightful. The drinks were even watered down and contained barely any alcohol for $25 a piece. Overall disappointed.
Tao is one of those really good Asian food restaurants that you find sometimes. The food is always amazing and the service was great. We had the beef & broccoli, Chinese sausage, shrimp, and egg fried rice and 2 different sushi rolls. All of it was really delicious and I highly recommend trying it out. The only bummer part was that we didnt get to have the giant fortune cookie dessert this time around!
Always the spot when you’re in Vegas. I always return but on this particular trip A bit of a mix-up with the seating as we were a huge part of about 40ish. Tables were not sufficient to accommodate us and took some time to get everyone seated as the manager did not want to lay out another table. NOTE: A prepaid party this large just lay out an additional table.
Taos food is great! My co-worker remembered Tao from years ago and I can see why. The cocktail drinks were delicious and then came the food. The flavor of the Chilean sea bass was amazing. The spicy tuna tartare on crispy rice was a great combination of flavor and texture. We had a tuna 2-ways roll which we really enjoyed. We finished by sharing the crispy snapper, which was fantastic. Dense pieces of snapper with a tasty fried coating and a delicious spicy dipping sauce. For the price, you would hope the food is worth it, and it is worth it for Tao.
I love this restaurant, my first time eating at a Tao was in Manhattan, NY. The food is still amazing we tried a variety of small and large plates with noodle and rice options as add ons.The table however was located in a terrible location! Please eliminate this table.Lastly, Remind staff Not to grab plates while people are eating. I would rather wait till the small plates are all done then have 4 pick ups during our initial tastings.Still a 5 because of the food and our server was very good.
The food was really good and flavorful! It was just enough portion size for all 7 of us to share with each other. All of us got something different so we could try a bit of everything. Service was very good from all of the employees. They all gave good recommendations and were very friendly. It was an overall nice experience for our friends birthday!
The Peking Duck spring roll was so delicious we were wishing we had stopped there, but then they brought out the sea bass which even surpassed that! Our cocktails, perfectly made by Tanner, were top-notch! Thank you Tanner for suggesting the sea bass and for your amazing service, friendliness, and attentiveness!! Can’t rate this restaurant highly enough!
This restaurant was lovely, but the best part of all was our waitress, Lisa. She knew exactly what to suggest and recommend, that made our evening extra special. She went above and beyond, and it made our experience there so amazing. She suggested two small plates, a roll of sushi, two mains, and a rice or noodles dish for five women, and it was the perfect amount of food. The food was delicious and the cocktails were super tasty, but the food is a little rich. If you have a sensitive stomach, beware and bring antacids.
Worst service I have received ever, the hostess treated me and my family pretty bad, we had a reservation and when we arrived we were sent to wait for more than 30 minutes, then they putted us in the worst table of the restaurant when there were others free and available in the main area, I asked for one of those and we had to wait another 10 minutes to be seated, I made the reservation to be seated in the main and famous area and the fact that I had to ask for it after their bad treatment made me have a bad first impression. While eating I constantly had to ask the waitress to be attended, we received the slightest of the attentions. Definitely a bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend eating here, the food nor the service was worth the price
The food is good but the waitress was the worst. I went there with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and she was only directing to him, like I was no there and she even touch his shoulder. Anyway she was so busy trying to look cute and flirting that she brought me something I didn’t order, and then took so long to bring the correct order that we have to take it to go. I notice she messed up the order in the table next to us too. Honestly she ruined the moment. Besides that I like the place.
I made a reservation in April because I wanted to have a group dinner while we were in town for a festival. The reservation was for 9 people at 8:15pm on May 13, we did arrive late (but I called the restaurant and let them know, traffic, Ubers) but we arrived within the 15 minute grace period of the reservation. And we were seated within 3-5 minutes. Our drinks arrived at a decent time and we placed our food order at 8:48pm. 2 of the people in my party ordered sushi rolls as appetizers and those came out rather quick (9:28pm). But we didn’t receive entrees until 10:22pm. There were parties who were seated after us who received their meals before we did. Of course we asked our server for updates at least 2 times (as we had somewhere to be that evening after dinner) and she had gave an estimated time and then disappeared. We ultimately ended up speaking to a manger who told us our slip didn’t make it or was lost in the kitchen. At that point I was upset about my dinner being ruined because we had plans to go out afterward. Ultimately the manager altered our bill by taking off over 50% and gave me a free dessert. Needless to I didn’t eat my entree until the next day and it was good I just wished I was able to enjoy it as planned.
Tao is definitely a special place. The food was stellar and the ambiance very cool. But, for a family dinner it was quite loud and chaotic. We had the Lobster Wontons in with Shiitake Ginger Broth - one of the most delicious things I’ve eaten. The Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass was great but, to be honest, I’ve had better at neighborhood sushi restaurants. The Filet Mignon Pepper Steak was tender and delicious. The assortment of sushi rolls we got were truly innovated and delicious. Next time we would probably sit in the front room and order more sushi than kitchen entree’s
We had reservations for 7:00 pm and we were on time. We also had a pre selected set menu. We got our appetizers at 8:30 pm. Food was good.
Food was amazing, service was atrocious. We came here to celebrate one of my good friends for her wedding on her bachelorette trip. She has a few different food allergens that aren’t out of the ordinary (gluten, dairy, and eggs). The waitress asked about allergies before taking our order and we ordered apps and small plates based on her info. Then all the sudden she’s bringing out items and says, “oh wait, sorry this has one of your allergens in it.” It’s part of your job to know the intricacies of the menu. It also took 45 minutes from being sat to getting our drinks. It was incredibly slow, and terrible service, despite really delicious food.
First of all, the walk inside the entrance is breath taking, and after that, the walk to your table is even more breath taking. There is a full bar, DJ, and lots of really cool things inside Tao.The best part is when the food arrives! The lettuce wraps were phenomenal and the orange chicken was a real hit!The service here is top notch and probably the best that we had in Vegas.Make sure you get a reservation!
Loved the food at Tao so delicious. 10/10. The nightlife at Tao is pretty good too ladies free before 11:30 😎Great night out, only thing that needs work is the bathrooms are very dark and dingy in the nightclub hard for women to see, also located upstairs and the men’s one is downstairs … most women wear heels so not sure of the logic? Overall 10/10
It is an amazing place to eat and hang out. The food was delicious and the restaurant was dark but well designed. It was beautiful on the inside. Now the club was on the 3rd floor and it was awesome. Drinks are a bit pricey but still a nice place. If you eat there, save your receipt because they let you for free later because of it 😉
I could eat here every time I visit Las Vegas! This place is one of my family favorites! I love ordering loads of appetizers and their bubbly drink! Their staff is very on top of things and helpful! It is a little low lighting, so my mom needs her phone light but other than that, she loves it too! Their potstickers are my favorite and all of their sauces are drool-worthy! My mom does wish they still had their banana pudding though! ☺️
I have been celebrating my birthday at this location for over 10 years. The service and food are good. Prior to COVID-19, I highly recommended this location. Since COVID, this restaurant has relaxed their strict dress code, which is not good given their exceptional representation. They have allowed tshirts, ripped jeans, baseball caps, and sneakers, which is not very pleasant. I may no longer be celebrating my birthday at this location.
Exquisite food, friendly, professional and fast service. We were a group of 8 friends, we tried lots of dishes and we were all very satisfied. My favorite ones were the lobster wontons with shiitake ginger broth and the miso glazed chilean sea bass with vegetables. The only dish that didnt meet my expectations was the tuna tartare on crispy rice, basically cause I have associated this dish with everything raw (like avocado for example) and not with something cooked like the rice. Overall the food was great and the ambience too.
I love pecking duck. I try every where it have in house. food tastes great. Vegas food much good quality food. Fried rice Asian style also very great and tasty. Sea bass ok salad very different and good too. Good to stop by try the food here tonight. Atmosphere decor deign nice. Friend staff do every where Vegas very much all staff very friendly too
We dined at Tao with a party of 5 and entrusted our server to choose our dishes, allowing us to explore a diverse range of Japanese, Chinese, and Thai-style cuisine without the burden of menu selection. The restaurant has a captivating ambiance, a blend of modern sophistication and traditional Asian elements. We capped off our meal with a shared giant Fortune cookie for dessert, adding a playful and memorable touch to a remarkable evening.
We came to the day club for a pool party/DJ set and did the nightclub that evening. It was fun but honestly the prices are such a rip off. $70+ for a few bottles of Evian? Get out of here.
The food was phenomenal, the drinks were great as well. We ordered the braised short ribs, lollipop chicken, dumplings and a few sushi spreads everything was good. The only thing that was meh was that my Arnold Palmer didn’t have sweet tea. Yes i know, small 1st world inconvenience but i wanted to post it here.
Hands down the very best of Asian Food I’ve ever had .Period !!Simply outstanding, delectable , mouthwatering food !Pad Thai - Order this and trust me you won’t be disappointed. Not too overpowering peanut sauce , light flavorful noodles, subtle spices , I can’t explain how good it was !Lobster Kim Chi Fried Rice - Changed by perception for fried rice this one ! Savory and heavenly to taste !The desserts are so good they beat any bakery or dessert shops I’ve been to !The Giant Fortune Cookie was Giant to say the least , stuffed with White and Dark Chocolate ganache served with ample fruits this one was just stuff of Cookie Dreams ! White chocolate ganache has a slight edge for me !The molten chocolate cake - Molten delectable chocolate cake cloaked in a chocolate box that you have to break and eat ! Is this place not famous for dessert ??By the time we were out I was in food coma !Coming to the service it’s ok 👍 to the day the least !The ambiance was good but the place gets too crowded so it’s not for a romantic occasion.Come in for the good food and take the inside stairs to the nightclub for some good music
This club made us feel very unwelcome right from the start. Terrible experience, only good thing was the DJ Angie Vee who played good music.- The place has tighter security than the white house it seems. They do ID and ticket and bag and body checks at 4 different places. Doesnt matter if you are with a group or even if you have already been inside. The staff outside is very very rude, with no clear directions to what they want 😡- There are so damn many bouncers inside who make you feel instantly unwelcome if you dont have a table booked. You cant even stand in the upper table area if you dont have a table even though theres plenty of space there. Similarly the dance floor is super tiny and they have stupidly blocked off so much extra space for the table folks.- The floor was sticky everywhere. Bathrooms were extremely dark. And they didnt allow me to put my coat on the side on the poles when I was dancing near the dance floor.I really wanted to like the place but I just ended up having a terrible experience 😔
Taos atmosphere is very intimate and very well decorated. We had a group of 9 for a birthday and were seated at a table of 4. Not sure how that made any sense but whatever. We were eventually moved to two tables pushed together. Appetizers were not bad at all. My girlfriend ordered the lobster and Kim chee fried rice which she had to return. I had the Beef (NY strip steak) and broccoli with a black bean sauce. Steak was surprisingly cooked to order perfectly. Only problem was it was cold when I got my plate. Theres a noodle bar right down stairs thats 2xs better for the same prices. Go down the escalator from Taos and make a left once you get off. Keep walking straight after you made that left and youll see the noodle restaurant.
Food is quite good and restaurant service is really nice. The big problem they have is the nightclub and the bodyguard totally unskilled for a place like it would like to be. Very rude, not able to distinguish customers, honestly they should work in a suburb bar... We were 2 Italian friends and one of us (after we got dinner) could not enter because passport photo was not enough (and none advised to bring it, even considering the risk to lose it)... Moreover the ballroom was super small (I entered to see) and overcrowded. Honestly will never come back and my suggestion is to choose another place, Las Vegas has many better
Nestled within the Venetian Casino, Tao Bistro is a haven for those seeking an authentic and vibrant Asian dining experience. From the moment you step through the doors, youre enveloped in an atmosphere that exudes both elegance and sophistication. Our recent visit to Tao Bistro was nothing short of exceptional. The attentive and knowledgeable staff guided us through the menu, offering recommendations that perfectly aligned with our preferences. The service was impeccable, ensuring that every need was met with promptness and a genuine smile. While the menu may not boast an extensive vegetarian selection, the few options available are truly gems. The Veggie Gyoza, filled with a symphony of flavors and textures, is a must-try for any vegetarian palate. The delicate dumplings, bursting with a medley of vegetables, are pan-fried to perfection, resulting in a crispy exterior and a soft, flavorful interior. The Chow Fun, another vegetarian delight, is a culinary masterpiece. The thin rice noodles, stir-fried to perfection, are infused with a symphony of savory and aromatic flavors. The addition of fresh vegetables and a touch of soy sauce elevates the dish to new heights. For those seeking a seafood indulgence, the Shashimi Toro and Smoked Salmon is a must-have. The Toro, the fattiest and most prized part of the tuna, melts in your mouth, leaving behind a lingering taste of pure umami. The Smoked Salmon, delicately cured and sliced to perfection, offers a delightful contrast in texture and flavor.
This classy Asian restaurant offers a high end dinner with a verity of dishes to cater to almost any taste. Food is of high quality and expensive. The restaurant itself is uniquely decorated. The twist is that the place also runs a very popular night club above the restsurant. If you only come for the club you have to stand in line to be admitted. However if you first had dinner at the restaurant, youll be admitted to the club with no queue.
This is hands down my favorite resturant. The food us phenomenal, its somehow a classic but also very modern and distinctive. Food feels familiar if you are use to asain cuisine but its a genuinely interesting spin on it. The drinks a all great super friendly staff. When our food was taking a bit to be done 3 separate staff members along with the manager apologized and offered us a round drinks for free. The ambiance is amazing and it is very beautiful. Also if you come on the right day you can get free access to there night club.
First off, make sure you make reservations well before your planned trip. Tao tends to book quickly and wait times can be very long.I made dinner reservations for 2 on a Saturday night (8:45pm) to celebrate my birthday the first weekend of June.We were running 5 minutes late, but they were able to seat us in 10min. when we got there. The ambience that this restaurant exerts is unbelievable. The music has you wanting to dance in your seat, the dim red lit room has the sultry mood set, and the Asian inspired decor just sets the tone for your dinner. We ordered the chicken gyoza as well as the lobster dumplings as an appetizer. Main entree was the miso glazed chilean seabass and the triple pork fried rice.I cannot express how exquisite the food was. It had my boyfriend and I just staring at each other in awe. We have been to many higher end restaurants and tried steaks and seafood of different styles. This dinner, is in our top 3 BEST meals weve ever had out. Paired with an unbelievable room ambience... It just made for a wonderful event (to say the least) 10/10 please give my compliments to the chef and staff for creating a one of a kind experience.I cant wait to try the Los Angeles location as we live in San Diego. Crossing my fingers its just as lovely!
We went to Tao on a Wednesday night - make sure you get a reservation. It is fantastic. The ambiance and vibe are worth it by themselves, add in the spectacular food and your in for a treat. The sizzling soy sauce chicken is a must have. 5 pork fried rice, orange chicken and chicken satays were all fantastic. So much flavor, everything perfectly cooked. Cocktails were delicious. Giant fortune cookie was a fun way to close out the meal. We will be back for sure.
Ambiance was spectacular! Food was fine. Service left a lot to be desired. Check it out if you have the time, but dont go out of your way by any means.
Price/ value:Its Vegas, so itll be pricey. For the quality of the food and service, its better than some Vegas restaurants, though still on the higher end.Ambiance:Really cool, club like. There are the tubs full of rose petals on your way in. There was a DJ spinning old school hip hop. We had to wait for a table because it was packed. The bar is good for this.Service:Our server was nice and attentive.**Let them know its your birthday and they will give you a giant fortune cookie cake with fruit and chocolate. Its big enough to share with your group and super cool.Theres a club section. We got stamps to go next door for free, not sure the qualifications for that though. We did rack up a hefty bill, but we also went later in the evening.
I want to write a complaint that today I was in this restaurant and the service was terrible. They were very rude to my mother, whose birthday was today. We were looking forward to this evening with pleasure and booked a special table. And they treated us so rudely and unsightly, we didn’t do anything. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant because the service is terrible. And they were left without dinner and in a bad mood. In total, we waited 30 minutes and received nothing.
Amazing flavors, creative and delicious. Every selection, both hot & cold was amazing, and the Chilean Seabass was off the charts!! The service exceeded all expectations, and the atmosphere was a stimulus to pleasing the eye.. this place rocked!!
Ordered the following:- Asian green stir fry: I think these were either mustard greens or morning glory. Super delicious and generous serving. Was blown away especially considering the weak description name- Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass with Wok Vegetables: Bass was perfectly cooked. My friend and I love this.- Drunken Lobster Pad Kee Mao: My friends and I loved this too. Tasted even better than A generous serving of lobster, considering how affordable this dish was.The place is very pretty inside. Theres giant and very eye-catching Buddha.
Extremely disappointing experience regarding Tao Nightclub. We were a party of 3 girls (who had been added to a “guest list” this made no difference as we still had to queue for over an hour for entry), whilst we queued the security man was extremely rude and denied my friend her request to use the restroom stating she would have to go to the back of the queue and not allowed back to her friends. When we got inside the night club it was mediocre at best, we again waited 10 minutes to gain access to the bar to then be told they do not accept contactless payments (being from Ireland and in the the 21st century contactless payments are part of our daily existence - this was deemed a European problem). We left humiliated. We then informed two men (in suits we would assume management upon leaving), they responded by saying contactless isn’t accepted and to bring a physical card (again never stated in their policy or by their own club promoters). They offered us one free drink (again not solving the problem of contactless payment).I think it’s obvious why this club would not be recommended!
We went there for a business dinner - totally exceeded our expectations! The ambiance and the Zen decor along with the incredible energy is an experience of its own.The professional, superb and talented staff took great care of me and my guests, appetizers, the dinner and all the desserts were simply delicious. The waiter was super knowledgeable about every dish we asked about and his suggestions were spot on. Thank you for a great experience Tao - we shall return soonAnd please save room for dessert 🍨 #incredible
The spot itself is beautiful but security was out of pocket. Ive never been treated with such aggression/disrespect by bouncers. I live in nashville, so bouncers are no stranger to me. Again, the spot was cool but I will never return because of the bouncers on their power trips.
Noting like TAO’SMy first time in Vegas so I wanted some Comfort food. I always visit the TAO in downtown New York also the one in Mohegan Sun Connecticut. Which both my really great. My experience at the TAO here is Vegas was terrible not only did the waiter brought all the food at the same time. But quality of the fish was not fresh andEverything taste off nothing like the others TAO. I also highly suggest you to stay away from the lychee martini‘s they do not use Lychee purée just a bunch of nasty fakes sugars. Anyways save your money.
Absolutely delicious food, for appetizers was the pork buns and the lollipop chicken wings both amazing. Not pictured for an entree I had orange chicken which was amazing and my wife had pork fried rice which was also very good. For dessert we got the fortune cookie which had chocolate and white chocolate moose on the inside. Highly recommend
When I was living at the Elysian Flamingo apartments in Las Vegas, they had some of the most fun/amazing events planned for us residents. One night it was the Halloween party at Tao. We had free entrance and a drink. But, the most important thing is that we got to see some amazing places and get out as a group (and in costumes!). We had a great time! Those views though...
The atmosphere is fantastic and the waiters are suppler friendly. Definitely would have loved to have tried more but the appetizers and sushi’s rolls were overly priced. The Pad Thai noodles were definitely a 10/10. Wish they amplified their food portions rather than making their plates bigger than the food itself. The cookie dessert is a must if you celebrating a birthday. I believe our waiter was named Tom, super friendly and suggested many options we didn’t know what to go with but we finally managed to decide. Loved him.
Came in with our own drink from the casino . We were seated in the waiting area while our table was getting ready. Stepped aside for a min talking to others and our drinks were missing. Once complained to the manger (Taylor Lampley), she kept on rolling her eyes saying with the most horrible attitude that we her staff should have not allowed us to bring our drinks in on the first place . Not apologetic for her staff taking away our drinks at all. The most horrible attitude. The situation could have been handled better only if she just apologized and would have said it was a mistake . Have no idea how this woman has a managerial position at a service industry . Horrible horrible service and attitude.
Food was great. Ambience was superb too. Where it faltered was the experience, as a guest I felt that I was not treated well. After the wonderful dinner, the restaurant staff very politely offered a stamp for entry to the club. We were told well not need to stand in line after the stamp. When we moved to the night club side first downer was that we were asked to get into the line. The second main downer was when the security after seeing my non American Driving licence wanted to see my passport. Of course I was not carrying my passport, it was safely kept at the hotel. I offered for them to see soft copy but he refused. So I was denied entry after having waited through the queue. And frankly it did not feel fair.If the security is skeptical of foreign visitors then please be courteous to put a notice at the start of the wait queue that passport check required.
A woman I met invited me to Tao on Saturday night. Tao is a nightclub that I have seen in the Venetian. However, I would have never gone on my own due to the lack of melanin standing in line. With that being said, Tao is an excellent club! The bouncers and staff were pleasant and professional and I loved the red ambiance and lighting. When you enter the nightclub, there are bathtubs filled with rose petals and candles that I found sexy, and the lady I was with remarked, “ Its beautiful.” The bathtub setup sets the tone and put me in a romantic mood. The club setup is ideal; reserved tables are on the side of the main room, a balcony section up top, and the all-important dancefloor is in the middle of the club. I teased my date about “ DJ Sourmilk’s” name. However, there wasn’t much sour about his DJ set. He did a solid job of predominately playing Rap, Pop, Techno, and R&B. The dance floor was packed, predominately Caucasian, yet diverse, and the crowd came to party. I liked the patio area they have that has a nice view of the strip and is a much-needed place to cool off after working up a sweat or a nice play to talk if you meet or are with someone.I would return to Tao’s and I am glad my lady friend invited me to this particular club. I spend a slew of time at the Venetian anyway, parking is free, and the nightclub is a top-notch, five-star experience.
Tao is a truly a unique dining experience. Our server, Kelson, was so attentive, well-versed on the menu and culture that we had an awesome time. He was truly a treat, even took a picture of us with the Buddha. We ordered the Peking duck egg rolls which came with plum & holsini sauce, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeños and ponzu sauce & the triple fried pork, pork belly & Chinese sausage fried brown rice with veggies. All three dishes were exquisite and easily shareable-since it’s the restaurants motto! To drink we ordered the TAO-tini (DELISH) & the cucumber non-alcoholic cocktail with ginger beer (very strong flavor, but delicious). For dessert, we ordered Mochi which came in flavors of vanilla chocolate chip, ube & chocolate. I can’t wait to go back!!!You must dine here!
Went here for the club on a Thursday night. Looked really nice inside and liked the decor. Went downstairs for the food, food was alright. Dishes were overcooked. Service was great though. An example would be when some girl spilled her drink on my face and head so my eyes were burning and Charles/Charlie let me in the bathroom when their was a line so ty for that.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. My friends and I made a reservation for 3 at 10 pm on open table. We got there placed our order and immediately after we got our food our server told us to let her know if we wanted to order anything else because the kitchen was closing. How can we know that if we haven’t even begun eating yet ??After about 5-6 minutes my friend really liked one of my sushi rolls, and wanted to order but the server told us unfortunately the kitchen was closed. After about 15 minutes, she comes back to ask if we wanted any dessert. How was she going to get us dessert if the kitchen was already closed??? Made no sense but ok.After dinner we wanted to take a few pictures and we all heard the staff SAY MULTIPLE TIMES, “ OKAY LETS WRAP IT UP” so incredibly rude. Because we were being rushed out, while taking a picture of my friend I forgot my coat on one of their booths. As we walked out they immediately shut the doors behind us. After walking out about 2 minutes later I realized I’d forgotten my coat inside. My friends and I knocked on the door aFor about 20-30 minutes as we watched the staff inside completely ignore us while working. I called the Venetian concierge and security to help , even they couldn’t get a response from them.I called the next day to check on my coat, since there were no customers when we walked out, just staff I was sure my coat would be there, but when I called them, the said nothing was found and they didn’t have it. Me even asking them about it on the phone seemed like I was annoying them.Stay away from this establishment and go elsewhere where you aren’t going to be rushed through your meal and experience. Incredibly rude people and horrible customer service, not to mention they potentially have staff that steals!!!
My black & brown people RUN— this is not the place we should spend our money! If I could give 0 stars I would. I arrived with a group of friends at TAO Nightclub to celebrate a friend’s birthday and was treated as if we were not welcomed as soon as we arrived. Mitch— “Head of Security” (when asked his full name I was told that his first name was “all I needed to know”) should be fired. When a situation arises with a customer, the best way to handle it is always speaking and having a conversation not treating the customer as if they are not even a human being. It was very clear that not only were these people racist but they were also colorist as well. We were told various lies as to why we were not allowed in after purchasing a table. After this horrible experience, I will never spend a dime at TAO ever again. As a frequent Vegas traveler, I will support other local nightclubs such as Zouk at Resorts World or Drai’s at the Cromwell. As for the Venetian, I expected better from an establishment located in your resort- Do better.
Delicious! Plan for a dimly lit experience. If you get the fortune cookie to go, just note that if you stick it in the fridge, the cookie will soak up the mousse and will taste like a white/chocolate moussey tiramisu. If you like that (which I did), go for it!My server told me the cookie was blue that night for autism awareness and a portion of the proceeds were being donated!
Where do I begin.....the decor in the restaurant & in the night club is beautiful. They do sometimes have live costumed girls in front of the entrance in rose petal bath tubs for allure.Very packed & popular place, a bit long of a wait to be seated because its so popular. The entire restaurant is dimly lit red but still visible that gives it a nice ambiance. In the waiting area to be seated you can order drinks and Lounge in a Chic area which is also amazing too people watch LOL. The music in the restaurant is really good as well! not sure if there is actually a DJ spinning a record but the music works with the atmosphere. The menu is interesting the food is really good Id have to say it was the first time Ive had spicy lobster fried rice😍. It is a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for also the drinks are worth trying as well I believe I had a bubbly blueberry mix drink.strangely in order to get to the club up stairs you have to exit the restaurant and enter next door through a metal detector to walk right back into the restaurant? I wonder how many people eat their dinner and just walk up the stairs and avoid the calamity I get the safety measures but it was kind of odd to me.The bottle service was attentive the first 30mins we were in our VIP section on balcony. Didnt like the fact we were behind the DJ booth adjacent & blocked our view from virtually the whole club & live performance that was happening. Fun club to experience at least once.
Always look at this place as the decor is superb, although didn’t expect the the food and the over roll experience will be great, greeting by Amazing people, that don’t matter how busy the place is will nacer make you feel rush. Then food was so good, plate both flap and presentation where something to die for. The drinks and cocktails crafted to perfection and the desert something totally good. A place to be abs fine. Reservación strongly recommend
Tao Nightclub and the Tao Beach (pool), were great! The club was packed and had an amazing atmosphere with great decor. The in-house dancers waving the Tao flags and dancing half-naked in a tub were a nice touch too ;) The DJ played a lot of dance and house music so it was in-line with the crowd and the bar was crazy busy which was to be expected. The club, like the people, were all beautiful and it screamed Vegas inside and out. Dress to impress and bring cash....like a lot of it!
It was a disappointed experience. I order three pork fried rice, pepper steak and angry roll. The fried rice was oily and tasteles, the pepper steak was super salty . the roll was just ok. But the most disappointing is when we reported that the pepper steak too salty, they just came out with saying because the base was soy sauce! Without even trying to make up for the dish. We are asian and had dine in upscale asian bistro to the lowscale asian restaurants, none pepper beef taste as salty as this and the cut for fillet mignon is too thin. I was expecting a good dining experience, just to get an oily tasteles fried rice and super salty pepper steak for $190.
Food is excellent, Asian fusion. Service is also fast, friendly, and efficient. Its a beautiful place, with outstanding Asian inspired decor, but extremely loud and noisy. Difficult to have a conversation, or even hear myself think. Bustling, popular place that seems always crowded. Reservations are probably a must.
The food and service is excellent... Had dinner there 2 nights in a row for that reason. The ambiance is awesome with the lighting, decor and music. Either if you have a table or seat at the sushi bar, youll have a great dining experience. Pricing is actually great as well, the dishes have the perfect size for your work sharing. Its a must while in Vegas
Listen sometimes you have to spend your money and enjoy your life. Tao is a splendid restaurant and seriously deserves a visit. Dont forget you have the option to join the nightclub afterwards. Great spots to take selfies. The mood in this place is very relaxing and romantic.Food: the food was to die for, seriously everything was delicious from the appetizers, drinks and the main course. We had the chilean sea bass. If you have never had sea bass before then you need to try it. The waitress was great, real accomodating and very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to cater the menu to our needs.I forgot to take pics of the vegetable fried rice but although it had no meat it was delicious. My visit was a great experience.
While the food was great, the care in food allergies was a joke. We had a party of 8 with two simple, yet serious allergies. We were never notified of any food that had ingredients that would’ve cause severe complications even though they were brought to the table. On one dish, a member of our party had to ask twice when the waitress misidentified a nut on a dish. We reminded them multiple times to no avail. Very disappointed in that lack of care as both these patrons have to carry epipens for these type of issues.
What a fun night! I have been to the. Tao on 59th in NYC. This has the same fun ambiance, same delicious food, and no east coast attitude. 🤣 I ♥️ NYC
The hostess was very rude and didnt know how to appease a customer properly. The sea bass tasted fishy and wasnt so flaky. Overall taste was eh. Wouldnt go back.
Review is for night club. A very very long slow moving queue. While I was there it only moved like 10 ft in 30 min on a Saturday night. I gave up and left. Don’t waste ur time.
Charles is so knowledgeable about the bistro and night club. He is the best hospitality that I have ever been treated to. He will help you have the best time in Vegas. Make sure you stop by and connect with Charles. 5 stars isn’t enough.
Before staying for a long period in Vegas people told me that TAO was the place to be - In overal its good and fun, but it didnt match the high expectations. Just a few small things to improve and adjust. 4 out of 5 stars.
The restaurant was dark and loud. The lobster in the lobster pad Thai was overcooked and chewy. Lettuce wraps were average. Espresso martinis and filet pepper steak were great.
Service was good!We had five starters and 6 rolls for 4 people. And we couldn’t finish.Definitely recommend the chicken satay. Also the wagyu beef startersAs far as the sushi, yellowtail roll, spicy tuna and the chefs roll are good.California roll is not worth it. It’s really true that as soon as you get closer to California, the cali rolls are less good lol.
MARQUEE DAYCLUB which is part of Tao—-> I know this will probably be overlooked but if you want to be treated right by their staff you have to not spend a lot of money. Their staff treats money spenders like trash, I mean I couldn’t believe how I was treated. Pretty disgusted!!!
Charlie was the best and very nice. I will definitely come back just based off the encounter with him. Thank you again Charlie
We have been coming here to celebrate our anniversary and our birthdays for years! We love the food and the service is perfect. The Peking Duck for 2 is our favorite dish. Wealso enjoy the potstickers with their chili sauce. For dessert if youre still hungry, the fortune cookie with ice cream is HUGE. But If you just want to taste a little something sweet, the Chocolate Lava Cake is wonderful.
The menu was average, especially for the price. The service was less than average, the staff was not friendly. The club is cool. music and vibe are good. But here, the service was bad. Security and staff are aggressive. Can easily see one ending the night on the wrong foot from aggressive, physically pushy staff.
The food was amazing! Spent a couple days in Vegas and there are so many options for food but I definitely dont regret eating here. Super delicious. The waiter was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The atmosphere is very good. Beautiful entrance way and great decor. The miso glazed seabass is great. I only wish I was hungrier when I went so I could have ordered more food.
My experience at Tao Asian Bistro in the Venetian was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly and attentive service. The restaurant itself has a beautiful and elegant ambiance, setting the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. The menu at Tao Asian Bistro offers a wide variety of Asian cuisines, catering to different palates and preferences. I ordered the sushi rolls and they were expertly crafted with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Each bite was bursting with flavor and every roll was beautifully presented. Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were generous as well. I left feeling satisfied and content. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations based on my preferences. In addition to the impressive food, Tao Asian Bistro also offers an extensive drink menu. Their signature cocktails are creative and skillfully prepared, adding an extra touch of enjoyment to the overall dining experience.Overall, I highly recommend Tao Asian Bistro in the Venetian for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The combination of delectable food, attentive service, and beautiful ambiance make it a standout choice in Las Vegas. Whether youre a fan of Asian cuisine or simply looking for an unforgettable meal, Tao Asian Bistro is definitely worth a visit.
Tao Asian Bistro was a top destination I wanted to visit for my first Vegas trip and I’m thrilled I was told to go here. Tao ended up being my favorite restaurant out of my entire Vegas trip.If you only hear one thing from me it’s order the “Miso Glazed Chilean Seabass” priced at $39.00. This dish was spectacular! And that’s coming from a guy who his least favorite genre of food is seafood. The Seabass was a flavor bomb! It is served over wok vegetables, which I am terrible with veggies and I ate the hell out of all of them. The decor at Tao was also something to behold. I really was impressed with the ambiance and decorations here. This restaurant would make for a fine date night or a special occasion. **Make reservations to come here in advance!**
Review for the restaurant only:I’ve to admit: The location is really nice and the food is tasty. But do not misunderstand the menu on display outside. The actual dish you want to order is a combination of multiple items, and the overall price can increase heavily. The waiter will give you pricy recommendations and not necessarily the best fit. However, if you take care on what you order, you should be fine.2 stars for the decoration and the food. 3 missing stars for the tricky menu, the waiter talking you into pricy choices and one for the posh place that tries a bit too much to play a posh role.
