Great experience. Perfect for spa day alone or with a friend. I had a massage, then spent the day in hot tub, saunas, experiential showers, drinking tea and having the light snacks. Very relaxing, wonderful, friendly service. I wanted a late afternoon coffee, which was already put away, but an attendant went and got one for me. So nice! Maybe wouldn’t be good with large group as hot tub is small and everywhere is quiet. I loved my day there! I like that most areas are separated by gender. Relaxation room was lovely.
We visited the spa for a couples massage/ couples retreat . Upon arrival we were welcomed by a gracious attendant, checked in and whisked off for a tour before meeting again in the gathering room. The spa/ showers/ changing area were well equipped with every need met as well as gracious staff members visible. We met in the gathering room which has intimate seating areas with choices of watermelon infused water or lemon , turmeric and ginger. We were met by our massage therapist’s, one was Sunshine but unfortunately I do not recall the other female. We were taken to our two room retreat and explained what we would be experiencing. The 100 minute treatment started work scalp massage followed by a full body sugar scrub. The temperate maintained at 71 degrees and was perfect. We were then escorted to a running shower to rinse off before submerging in an impeccably clean soaking tub with pristine water that we could have stayed in for hours. The floors in the rinse/ bathing area were heated creating an added touch of warmth to our experience. After 20 minutes we were whisked back to the massage part of our retreat and experienced side by side bliss accompanied by warm pillows and soothing music. Our masseuses were professional and amazing. We can’t wait to return.
The staff is great. The amenities are quite nice. There is a small hot tub, quite a nice steam room, a cold spray room, dry sauna, sensory showers, and a aromatic room.No cold plunge, which was disappointing, and I did think that for the ‘second largest’ spa in the world, it would have had a gender specific sauna tub area larger than my LA, WiSpa, but it was about half the size of men’s space. Not an awful thing, just not my expectation. My facial was awesome and the woman was very nice, good, and knowledgeable. You’ll need no more than 2 hours max, to utilize the space, to the max. I spend 3-5 hours at my local spa. I did like it though!
We were quite happy with our experience. We got a couples massage, but also decided to take advantage of other rooms/amenities while we were there. While pricey, we felt we got good value for our money and would recommend.
Underwhelming at best. Check in is impersonal and transactional with brusque receptionists. Generally this whole experience is low rent and a waste of time and money.Given the size of the entire spa, you would have thought there would have been more amenities on a larger scale, more space and places to sit.Finishes of the facilities are dated and tired, and I’ve seen massage envy’s with nicer finishes. It’s also dirty. The robes are old and have a microfiber lining that’s been washed too many times and feels old and oily. There were two drunk girls sitting on the floor of the “rain experience” yelling and talking for over an hour.. By the way, the rain experience barely works (broken buttons and it all feels the same) and the “igloo” doesn’t work well either (broken buttons, not that cold). The service I got (body treatment) was generally clumsy and it was cold. Definitely wouldn’t go back and am really disappointed in the Canyon Ranch brand, I guess I had too high of expectations. Glad I did this first because I was considering booking a five day wellness retreat with them. Not happening.
Wonderful spa facility! I’ve visited many spas across the country, including several in high-end tourist towns such as Telluride, CO, Beaver Creek, CO, Aspen, CO, and Santa Fe, NM. I know a good spa when I see one and this place fits the bill. I’m utterly baffled by reviews that mention less than perfection because Canyon Ranch has it all.We visited Canyon Ranch on two separate days, once for pedicures and once for a massage and facial. We used the entire spa facility both days and found them to be exceptional. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very talented in their knowledge during services. The rooms were all clean, serene, spacious, and exactly what one expects when going to a spa. Water/tea/snack stations were well stocked constantly and had different choices both days we went. The salt grotto was our favorite and had a salt wall and diffused salt that sprayed in the air every few minutes. There’s private areas that are gender specific and also areas for co-ed relaxation if you’re there on a couple’s spa day like we were one of the days.I had originally booked a Canyon Ranch facial but my esthetician recommended a Hydrafacial after discussing my needs and examining my skin. I am so thankful for her expertise because it was perfection! My skin has never looked so calm, radiant, and refreshed. She did an outstanding job and really addressed my skin care needs. My husband’s massage was also excellent and he felt relaxed and pampered afterwards. On our pedicure days, my teen daughter and I both enjoyed a Canyon Ranch pedicure that was heavenly and included the bottle of nail polish in the price of the manicure. Top notch service that left us feeling lux!I’d mention that teens under 18 are limited in services, understandably, and are also limited is what areas of the spa they can utilize. The salt grotto, wave room, and lounging areas were the only spaces my teen was allowed to use (in addition to the locker rooms and shower facilities, of course). So just know that detail if you’re planning a mother/daughter spa day. :)Definitely worth visiting Canyon Ranch! We will be back the next time we are in Vegas!
TLDR: Good therapists, spa pretty poor.Therapists are really good and while expensive it’s worth the money if you do what we do and fly economy and then use a spa and treatment to recharge your body after a long flight. I can highly recommend Maddie for the sports/deep tissue massage. The spa itself though is pretty poor. Now this is probably an American vs European thing but in the UK our local gym has a better spa experience than the Palazzo, which is pretty bad when you think about it as we are not in the centre of London or at a 5 star hotel. Have a look at this url https://www.davidlloyd.co.uk/clubs/royal-berkshire/club-facilities/spa/ to see what we expect from a regular gym spa. Have a look here to see what we expect from a 5 star hotel spa https://boringdonhall.co.uk/gaia-spa/spa-facilities/ . Canyon Ranch does not deliver on any of those levels. The jacuzzi is minuscule, the saunas and steam are average and the heated moulded chairs are cool rather than warming. The staff are cleaning constantly and the date bars and watermelon water is nice but it’s just like it’s stuck in the equivalent of the 1980’s, which is pretty sad for a top place in Vegas. So go for a treatment, don’t go for a spa day. Oh, it’s also single sex for a fair bit of it only a small amount is mixed sex, so if you’re with your partner it’s difficult to relax together.
Unfortunately this is not the same spa it once was. Jacuzzi temperatures are low, probably 97/98. Experiential rains seem warmer than past visits. Steam room never fully filled with steam; it feels like they have the Aquavana hot and cold experiences on “energy efficient” mode. The icing on the cake was after booking two experiences, we were given two $25 gift carts for the cafe; since we were celebrating our 3 year anniversary. As I walked out of the locker room, I asked the front desk employee where the cafe was; only to be told it closed at 2:00; and that I could use the gift certificate the next day. So much for luxury, communication or hospitality. Staff in general is indifferent, and talks loud in the quiet areas of the spa. Based on our visit today, this is another experience that isn’t the same caliber it was prior to the pandemic. We were also auto charged 15% gratuities for our services; without consent. Consider another spa in the future.
Top end prices with somewhat aged facilities. Generally friendly staff though I had an unfortunate encounter right before my massage that colored it negatively and was shorted several minutes of the massage. . I addressed it then but never heard back from the staff.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and service in this spa, overall is a great experience and love the facial the most. However regarding the massage, I waited too long for it and it supposed to be an hour but at the end the actual massage is only 40mins or even less. And too many people at the spa and the pool, you can’t really use any of those services. It is a bit pricey but will be back.
The worst pedicure Ive ever had! About a 2 minute scrub and 2 minute lotion massage up to about half way up the calf (not even all the way up to the knees). Ive never been more disappointed with another pedicure ever. It wasnt so much the person doing it, as Im sure thats how shes told to do it, but more the service itself in total. By NO means period was this a service in any way shape or fashion. No callus removal with gel, no cuticle trimming, no pumice on the heels... and for a $99 pedicure + an obligatory 15% gratuity + another 5% fee of some sort it was the most expensive extremely underrated pedicure I have ever experienced. Left feeling totally ripped off and like I just wasted 50 minutes of my time sitting there for about 8 minutes of actual time.
I visited the Canyon Ranch spa to experience an 80-minute massage with a peppermint foot scrub. Fantastic 5-star experience! If you purchase certain services, you have access to the spa until 8pm . ( Please confirm which services offer this ) They also offer a day pass purchase . The amenities are amazing ! I especially enjoyed the warm stone benches near the hot tubs . I have worked in the skincare industry for years. So, I was excited to explore their skincare shop . When I entered the door, the employee barely acknowledged me with a vague hello. They were too busy unpacking inventory behind the counter . I proceeded to walk around the store browsing products. I wanted to purchase some items . But, I was turned off by the lack of interest of me as a customer . I was the only person in the store !I would highly recommend sharing this experience with a loved one as well. I saw a few couples enjoying themselves.Overall , I had a great experience !
Terrible service , was in the functional area and was yelled at to put my shoes on , told the staff member I am just on a Matt stretching.. he belittled me and told met he policy is written on the TV . I said I’m not here to watch TV and haven’t seen it however I will put them on once I’ve finished this one stretch. He said put your shoes on or he’s going to get security to remove me ..?!? tried to talk to him saying that that’s what I said I was doing but he walked away from me…Then when I approached him to chat to him about his attitude towards me started with a light attempt at a apologiy but again quickly got agitated and aggressive when o questioned his need to threaten security then again got heated told me he had cool security and then said don’t let me catch you outside of the bar and threaten to assault me .I said I will take this up with management or if you’d like to call security or as Manager feel free but then he continued threatening me so I went to leave and he was still yelling at me as I was going up the escalator.Unbelievable experience and horrific treatment of a guest .. Several times he tried to refer to the small print which I didn’t see and regardless I was putting my shoes back on and he just continuedI didn’t feel safe no heard so I left and didn’t feel I would get anywhere with management nor had the time
This was a second follow up trip for a spa experience on our vacation coming out of the Lapis spa, which I can assure all, was the superior experience. First issue, the hot tub situation is lacking. There is one small tub in the men’s area & the women’s area. There is no shared or large tub available. Don’t wanna sit next to a naked dude in a tub 3 feet away? Tough, you’re outa luck on that one.Second issue. The common area is terrible. It looks like a hotel lobby. Completely wasted space. No one is coming to a spa experience to sit in chairs in a large room & hang out. Completely pointless. Why bring a spouse or lover here? You have almost nothing to experience together.Third, the wave room is a joke. A pool of water in the middle of the room vibrates & shows reflections on the ceiling while you lounge & rest. But there’s a loud rattling in the room & you get to stare at a misaligned ceiling fixture, the ceiling being the focal point of the room. Fail.Other observations: paint is peeling in the steam room ceiling. Grout is gross in the tub. Workers are milling about constantly in what’s supposed to be a private, clothing optional, men’s area. One was transporting flooring pieces on a loud cart. There’s nothing relaxing about it.In summary, the tubs & coed amenities suck here. The massage was good, yes. But a spa is a total experience & this was not fleshed out. Go to Lapis instead, you’ll thank me later. Cost is literally the same for a better place.
We were disappointed in our experience today. The vibe feels like they decided to open up this side of the hotel without fully completing it - The lighting feels like you’re at a very nice hospital.Staff seemed confused & bothered when we asked where we needed to go next. We constantly has to ask staff where we needed to go next and they seemed annoyed because they were in the middle of doing something.I had one 50 minute masssge. My 16-yo daughter had one massageMy 18yo daughter had one massage + facialMy oldest daughter had one massage + facial = $1,650 grand total.I’m sorry but my daughters and I anticipated a more relaxing experience. The feeling we had was rushed, confusion, and no sense of where to go next. Will not be returning due to this bad experience..
So I was here two separate days for different services during my stay. The first time was for a wash and style with my hair. This was by far the worst experience and quality of service I’ve paid for to have my hair styled. For $109 bucks. My hair didn’t even hold leaving the spa to the room and I was staying in the hotel. Didn’t walk outside or anything. Just the short 10 min walk to my room and the curls were gone. I’ve had my hair styled multiple times and it holds just fine. So, this is a lack of talent and proper use of products or crappy hair products at that. My friends hair did the samething as well. So, for a first impression of the spa I was not thrilled knowing we would be returning the next day for massages and facials. Customer service was subpar at best as well. Front desk staff were not friendly or welcoming. We were not given an option to change into robes either. They also did not apply our discount we were told we would receive signing up for the players club. We were told there would be a discount for the spa.The next day we came back for massages and facials. Again front desk staff were rude and not welcoming. Our massages did not last the full 80 min. The massage therapist herself was great and did quite well. I don’t have anything negative to say about her. The facilities again are meh. The wave room is pointless and definitely not what is portrayed online or in pictures. The salt room is very limited in seating. The $25 food voucher given we were told the place closes at 2 so we either had to rush and use it between services or it wouldn’t be able to be used…. Why that wasn’t communicated the previous day when we confirmed our services is beyond me…. Or told we would have to come early to use it. So we rushed to slam down some chicken tacos between our massage and facial which left me feeling uncomfortable during my facial…. The facial was pretty good. Nothing special nothing fancy but the esthetician was friendly. Again the spa would not apply the discount we were told we would get but they eagerly don’t hesitate to ask you for a 15% gratuity to add.Overall, not impressed over priced and you need to get your front desk people in check with customer service and attitude. I’m sorry when I’m dropping almost 1k within 2 days I expect more. I filled out the survey sent to me via email as well…. You think I’ve gotten a response? Nope and probably won’t. I also mentioned my frustration about my hair… no offer to speak to management or anything just a head title and oh that’s unfortunate.
I had the chance to visit the Canyon Ranch spa located in the Palazzo hotel. The spa experience was absolutely fantastic. I opted for a 50 minute deep tissue massage, and my therapist was incredibly skilled. Following that, I indulged in a 50-minute hydrating facial and felt rejuvenated afterward. I spent some time in the spas salt room, relishing 30 minutes of relaxation, and then ventured into their wave room, which felt like a serene meditation space—I even dozed off! I could have easily spent the entire day there. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting the spa when youre at either the Venetian or the Palazzo in Las Vegas. If youre staying on the Venetian side, remember to allow yourself at least 15 extra minutes before your appointment as its quite a stroll to get there.
I recieved one of the most incredible Hyrofacials from Kate. She was extremely knowledgeable in knowing what my skin needed. I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and my skin has never looked and felt better! If you want to experience high end luxury, and pampering Kate is your girl. It was the best facial I have had!
I was so excited to try the Canyon Ranch Spa for the first time. I go to a lot of luxury spas all over the country because I travel a lot and I had high expectations based on CR’s reputation. It is the largest spa in North America with over 100 massage therapists.I went on my birthday so I had to book the birthday celebration massage and I booked the soothing facial.Let me start with the pros:The robes are very nice and thick and plushThe herbal sauna is niceThe regular sauna is very largeIt seems good for groups and caters more to groups - lots of co-ed amenities and massive relaxation loungeThe cons:Way overcrowded and not relaxing at all. From waiting for a very long time 30+ minutes to check in to every amenity room being packed, it’s pretty miserable. It seemed like it was under construction so it was very noisy which again was not relaxing at all, the construction sounds totally drowned out the spa music.Because it seems catered toward large groups, every amenity area was loud with people chitchatting. My massage was very meh, mediocre but my massage therapist was very nice.My facial, however, was terrible. My aesthetician was super abrasive and pushy. All she did was tell me all of the things that are wrong with my skin caused by my diet and push to up-sell me and then push products on me after. She kept pulling my hair out the entire time because of the way that she was aggressively and quickly moving forward and backward from the table. It was not relaxing at all. And she was honestly very rude. The amenities that they really tout like the wave room and salt cave are super lame. The wave room is literally just a bunch of chairs in a circle with a projector in the middle projecting waves onto the ceiling. They couldn’t even be bothered to have actual ocean wave sounds to make it more experiential. It sucks. And because it’s a dome, it really just echos all of the groups’ conversations and amplifies them to be louder so you cannot relax. The salt cave was not a cave at all, it was just a bench in a semi-circle facing a fountain wall with Himalayan salt rocks. I’ve been to a better salt cave in Libertyville, IL.I would not come back to a CR spa and would not recommend it to anyone. There are way better spas out there with way higher quality therapists. This is not it.
We visited Las Vegas over New Years and cant say enough good things about the attendants and service at the Canyon Ranch Spa. I did want to explain the 4 instead of 5 Stars if our experience was so great. My husband and I have been to this spa before and really enjoyed our time. With it being New Years weekend I went on the website to check if we needed to make reservations prior but was unsuccessful at finding anything that stated any changes. I also called the Spa trying to find out if we needed to book anything prior with no success, the phone directed me back to the website then would give a dead tone. We took our chances and went anyways. We arrived at the Spa and was greeted by very sweet girl at the desk. When we asked about the purchase of a day pass she then stated we needed to book a service since the weekend was busy due to the holiday. The exact reason I tried before. So I asked about us booking 2 pedicures, one for each of my husband and myself. She was finishing the booking and then said it wasnt available anymore. We were very sad. She said that someone online booked at the same time she went to push the accept button to finalize the service. She did apologize and suggested another service for my husband and gave a small discount. His experience was ok but he would have preferred the pedicure. I just wish we were able to book the service we initially wanted as we were standing there vs. the person online. That is why the 1 star bump. The spa attendants were amazing and my pedicure was phenomenal. I chose not to upgrade to the quick dry polish for the extra 20 dollars and I must say it has been the best polish Ive used. It hasnt chipped or cracked and still looks great almost 4 weeks later. That really impressed me as I was not expecting it to last so long. Especially knowing we walked a lot in Vegas, I wore, platforms and boots our entire trip and it still looks great. We do look forward to continuing to use the day spa and will try to book online prior, but hope they start giving more information during peak holiday seasons for a smoother experience.
I’ve been to this canyon ranch location twice. I overall really enjoy the experience. The “experimental rains”, to be blunt, are a cold shower with three separate settings. One option is a mist which is wonderful and so refreshing after the hot treatments. It only lasts about 20 seconds before you have to push the button again to reactivate it. The salt room is my favorite. Warm curved seating and salt that gets misted in the air. You can taste the salt on your lips. The only thing I was surprised about was the fact that on this particular day there was a group of about 10 women from Texas who wouldn’t stop talking loudly and carrying on personal and extensive conversations across the treatment areas. I’ve never experienced such a thing in a spa. Finally another guest in the sauna spoke up and told them to please be quiet and they acted shocked and insulted. This also didn’t quiet them any. They continued to shout to each other from separate rooms and gossip continually with complete disregard for the fact that people pay a lot to come here to relax . They ruined the relaxing atmosphere for all other guests. You’d think a staff member would have said something!! Sadly I think I’ll try a different LV spa next trip.
The staff are all quite amazing and friendly. My experience was so relaxing, my partner and I both fell asleep during our massage/facial.Their rooms are very spacious and you should reserve an hour before your appointment to enjoy their amenities. They have a hot tub, herbal room, sauna, etc. The igloo did not seem to be working on my visit but everything was wonderful. They provide showers, bathrobes, soaps, shaving cream and razors, cleansers, lotion, sunscreen and so much more. They do not allow phone usage but their interior and rooms are all very beautifully done and amazing. All their products are vegan and plant based. After my appointment I went to their store to buy a few bath soaps.Highly recommend going here!
Went here for a massage and facial with my husband, and to be able to use the amenities for the day. We had good services. The space feels dated and aside from the “quiet” zones in the coed area is feels loud and busy. The only water area is a very small jacuzzi in the locker rooms that is crowded even with three people. Would not go back.
Sent the wife in for some spa service. Jen B was simply amazing. My wife was so happy. It made my life simple. Great job Jen. You are an asset to Canyon Ranch. 10 stars
No one notification of my upcoming appointment, they charged me for a service I never had and then had the audacity to say they weren’t going to fix it. Unprofessional customer service at a place that is supposed to be amazing. When I politely asked for it to be fixed I was threatened with “we’ll pull the recording of you booking the appointment.” Appalling at best. They made me wait on hold saying I needed to talk to a manager then said they had no one available and did nothing but say they couldn’t help.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! From the front desk to the massage therapist! The front desk did not have my card number on file that I left weeks ago with the reservation initially. The massage therapist was literally finger painting on my back…no knowledge of the body or any kind of technique skills what’s so ever…she got her little feelings hurt when I told her she pretty much did not have good technique and it was obvious she was in a hurry! I’m sorry but not sorry for $200 massage you should be listening to your clients needs! I don’t care if I’m in Vegas you listen to your client! No class what so ever…terrible bedside manners! And the manager Gregory was just shaking did not even know how to address the issue..LISTEN UP..you make the client happy YOU ARE A SPA ACT LIKE IT! your therapist are rude with zero knowledge in therapy..they are just there for gratuity and their 30% cut..you will never get my business again! PATHETIC…you are there to cure and relax people instead you put them on edge the minute they walk in, and you therapists are not trained properly in proper esthetics etiquette or education..coming from a spa goer of many many years!
Nice spa in general, and my therapist Kevin was a rockstar. However, it’s wayyyyy too big and crowded (and just loud and chaotic at appointment transitions).Located on 3rd floor of the Palazzo, it is hard to get to if you’re not staying there. It’s a decent walk and you have to give security at the elevator your id (the room key/id check creates a big bottleneck at the elevators.Front desk friendly and professional, but rushed and a bit insincere. They collect payment AND gratuity up front. On a min. 200+ service, that can be a decent amount. This is disappointing in that you’re committing a decent sum to gratuity without knowing quality of service and it creates awkward situation when you have exceptional service (like I did today) and want to add gratuity. The locker room attendants were pleasant, but also rushed. And contrary to what the front desk person tells you, they do not show you the co-ed area (“conservatory”) where you can meet your partner. You are left to wander the cavernous space (102 treatment rooms, I believe).Lots of nice, upscale features (ridiculously comfortable robes, for example) as you’d expect for the price, but overall the experience feels corporate and rushed. Also, for some reason, the showers seemed to be short of hot water (lukewarm at max). For me, it was nice, but felt like an iffy value at the price point.
Awesome spa for a relaxing day. On the men’s side, it was clean and well taken care of. Great attention to details. There was a steam room, sauna, hot tub, “igloo room” that sprays cold water from above, and a nice herbal “sauna” but at a lower temperature. All in all it’s worth the price for a day pass which was 75 at the time. The best part of my experience was getting a deep tissue massage from Avery! He has been there for 5 years and gave me one of the best deep tissue massages ever. He got right into all of the knots on my shoulder and back that I didn’t even know I had. It was very targeted and not abrasive. I wish I had gotten the 80 minute instead of 50 minute.Between the massage and the use of the spa (212 with tax and tip) it was worth it.
Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. Sue and Evette took great care of us. Our masseuses, Krista, Clarissa and Rachel did a wonderful job.
All I did was open the website to look. a few hours later I got an email from them--I denied cookies and did not sign up for a mailing list. Super sketchy, I would not support a business that is stealing information like that.Edit to add that willingly using third party apps that pull email addresses from other open tabs without consent is NOT the same as collecting that data after agreeing to tracking. Opting out after 5 days is not the solution to unethically collecting data, especially if you can’t get confirmation that data has been removed—once it’s collected, it’s impossible to remove
I thought it would have been better. The walk through the facility to get to the actual spa was outrageous. The spaces in the spa are nice, some quiet some filled with chatter of other guests. I found the noise to be quite rude in a way. Looking for relaxation and I now know why Taylor left her husband 😒. There needs to be a bigger pool area for the spa. The rooms filled quickly and it just wasn’t spacious enough. The wave room was good for about 10 minutes after that it was pointless. That room stayed empty. My massage was nice, the snacks are blah, nothing to rave about. There was a lack of inclusiveness or at least just for me. There were (i saw) no other people of color in the facility (other than some employees). I felt people staring at me on multiple occasions. The hair care products are not for people of color. The grill (food option) on the outside of the spa is convenient but not worth the money. Salad was bland and small.
I love canyon ranch. The service is top notch from checkin to locker room attendants to service providers. Id highly recommend the thai massage by Jeff. He was outstanding as was the massage. Check it out !
My wife and I did a couples massage, and we both really enjoyed it. There is a decent amount to do in the co-ed area. The wave room is worth checking out. Its very relaxing, so much that a couple other people in there were snoring. The one area for improvement is the vast hallways. The spa has a lot of long hallways that seem boring and prison-like. The experiences in the different rooms are great, make sure guests dont get taken out of the vibe while they walk down the long prison hallways.Overall, loved it!
I had both the canyon ranch facial and the sole rejuvenation. I thought both services were extremely well done. The front desk was polite and efficient. Tammy did the facial but unfortunately I do not recall the massage therapists name. They were both excellent. Neither tried to sell me anything. The spa was relaxing and I received my full time. Yes it is expensive. It’s the Canton Ranch in Las Vegas. I did lay in the wave room and the chairs were soft and comfortable. I did not use the other rooms. I mainly went for the services.
Love this place! We came out for the U2 show and spent 4 hours at the spa/ fitness area. Totally worth going if your into this stuff. They charge a daily fee to use the spa but free with a service. So get a service and use the facility! The gym is great 2 different levels available for free to guest of Venetian. We got a service, worked out ate at the healthy cafe and went back to the spa for sauna. They have these showers that create different experiences and levels of cold. Sauna to cold repeat! The best
DO NOT GO TO THIS SPA!! They are a total RIPOFF! We stayed at the Palazxo in Las Vegas and I paid for a 50 minute massage each for 2 of us and we were there 20 minutes ahead of time for a 11am appointment. They took 10 minutes to check us in by which it time it was 11am. Then they took another 20 minutes to gives us sandals and show the lockers and facilities around which was not needed. We were not given the option of directly going to the massage instead of a an elaborate tour of their facility. I assumed that the time for massage would start once they take us into the room for a massage. Instead of which they cut down our massage time by 20 minutes and only gave a 30 minute massage instead of the 50 minute massage that we paid for that was $200 each. Their email conformation does NOT indicate that we need to be mandatorily there 15 minutes before or half hour before the massage time. All it says is that we should consider being there an hour ahead to enjoy their facilities. It was a total rip off in my opinion and the spa folks are not clear about any of this either when you book the appointment nor when you check in. They keep it very vague hoping no one would notice or care. All they care about is your money and not their service. The massage was by no means spectacular either as the bed was not even kept warm till I noticed and asked for it. There was no apology and no move forward to make up for this faux pas. Do not go there and get ripped off!!
I got a mani/pedi with Sandy this morning. So relaxing and amazing. One of the best nail treatments I’ve ever gotten, and she was really nice the whole time! Amazing!
This review is specifically for the nail salon, though every employee I encountered was extremely nice. I booked a manicure and paid extra for the fast dry option (which ended up being Dazzle Dry polish). I felt compelled to write a review because it is now 3.5 weeks later and my polish has not chipped AT ALL. The manicurist who did my nails took such care to do a beautiful job, and she assured me it would last for 10+ days. But I am literally on day 24 and the only issue is my nails have grown out. This isnt even gel! Definitely makes the price I paid worth it. I wish I remembered the manicurists name -- it might have been Karen? I do remember she is from the midwest, has a very tall staircase and her daughter lives locally with her adorable grandkid(s). Anyway, if you can figure out who she is when youre booking, definitely request her because she did an incredible job. The spa otherwise seemed fine, but nothing particularly notable.
WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AT CANYON RANCH SPA AT THE VENETIAN!!!! I had a facial with Cynthia and it was absolutely incredible. The most relaxed Ive been in a very long time. Highly recommend!!!!
We were staying at the Venetian and got the 3 day pass here. We absolutely loved it and spent most of our days going back and forth from here and the Palazzo pool deck.
I rarely leave a review but I was compelled to warn others. I have been to many spas as it is my favorite thing to do on vacation. First, the overall feel is very gym/ hospital feel, with long hallways to navigate. The worst is the size of amenities, like the hot tub, sauna, steam rooms, etc. I would estimate about 70-80 women moving around, with most things seating 4-8. It was a constant walk, open doors and see if there was room. Products in locker/shower were generic at best. My treatment was great but you are paying for the whole thing. I would never visit another Canyon Ranch spa, it is clear they do not know how to run a large scale spa.
Paid a few hundred bucks for the worst massage Ive ever had.I had to go to Asia Town a few blocks away, for one of the better massages Ive had and that one only cost $60.
The facility is worn and shabby. Certainly not the high end experience I was expecting. My massage was good, but for the cost and overall lack of luxury -- not worth it.
The staff was very attentive to my wife and I. There are several amenities and areas to enjoy so I did get turned around a bit at times but there was always someone right there to help me. My massage with Jon was awesome and my wife enjoyed a great experience in the salon before a date night. The services were awesome and the amenities were great. I think I got lucky and it was pretty quiet on the mens side so I felt like I had plenty of room and space to relax. We enjoyed the co Ed experiences together then retreated for our services in our respective areas then regrouped afterwards.Overall a really great experience. Worth more than we paid honestly.Thank you Canyon Ranch for taking care of us. We visited just after arriving on a late late mess of a flight so it was the perfect remedy for our jangled nerves and tired bodies.
My wife today is spending $600 + 20% gratuity at Canyon Ranch Spa on a 100 minute massage and a hair blow out. I just came down to buy a day pass to the spa so I could use the steam room and meet up with my wife for an hour in the common areas. I was told they don’t sell day passes. You have to have a service. Guess they don’t want our money. Horrible business plan.
Poorly maintained, with numerous burned out lightbulbs, mold in the showers, broken steam room, and worn furniture. Three-star experience on its way to being below average.
Overall, the whole experience felt rushed and not the relaxing feeling I was looking for. It was extremely crowded and noisy. The number of appointments taken in a day should be limited. I will not be returning and would not recommend. The Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Everything was clean and in pristine condition. I gave two stars because the almost 500 massage + facial I paid for was horrible. I feel bad for even mentioning it, because both the Therapist and Esthetician were so sweet but both missed the mark. The entire massage felt mediocre at best. What really took it over the edge for me was that this was supposed to be a birthday massage with a birthday cake scented oil and a small gift. I did not receive my gift and had to ask for it several times and was made to feel awkward for even asking. Also, PLEASE invest in larger towels its such a shame larger women have to walk around half covered up because the towel is not large enough. My facial left my skin looking worst off then when I received services.
The service I revived here was outstanding. Staff was very polite and willing to help. The rooms / the ideas for the rooms were really nice too, it just felt like the details of this place was really lacking for how expensive it was.Primarily the Noise! And I don’t mean guests being noisy. The quiet rooms were not quiet at all. The salt room had bubbling water and soft apa music playing, and then what sounded like a lawn mower moter in the walls. The wave room was similarly ruined by it sounding like something was loudly rattling in the ceiling. Causing myself and multiple other guests to leave the room unsatisfied. The towles were also not high quality. Which I didn’t mind until I had to lay of them for a salt scrub, then the fact that they are course was distracting and took away from the experjence. This place has a LOT of cool stuff, I just feel like for those prices it has to not have so many downsides.
The hotel and staff were excellent, but our spa very expensive appointmentsWere ruined by the unexpected disturbance of Christina Aguileras band practicing nearby. The extremely loud beat disrupted the tranquil atmosphere we had anticipated for our days of relaxation. It was ridiculous.
Loved my stay here after check out. We had a late, late flight out and so it was the perfect way to spend our long day. The candle massage was okay- overpriced for just a relaxing massage with some type of wax/cream. Better to just get the regular massages in my opinion and then use their water rooms.
Overall, I loved this spa and Ill likely return on my next visit to Vegas. The Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Everything was clean and in pristine condition. I gave three stars because the almost 400 massage I paid for was horrible. I feel bad for even mentioning it, because the Therapist was so sweet but he missed the mark. He asked if I had any spot I wanted special attention and I indicated my feet and ankles, he spent 7minutes of a 80 minute massage on my feet and that was only around the end when I realized that he hadnt touched them and reminded him. The entire massage felt like he was applying lotion to my body. What really took it over the edge for me was that this was supposed to be a birthday massage with a birthday cake scented oil and a small trinket. I didnt smell birthday cake nor did I get a trinket. I truly enjoyed the rest of my time at the spa and even though I wasnt satisfied I still tipped and went on about my merry way. Angel at the front desk was amazing and do were the locker room attendants.
The massage we got was great, staff was great at making sure you felt comfortable the entire time. Now with them saying this is a very large facility I assume they were counting the hallways it didn’t seem as large when actually in the spa portion. It was rather confusing trying to get there through all the hallways. It was a great one time experience but I wouldn’t go back with the hefty price tag it carries.
The service at Canyon Ranch was great! The entire staff is so welcoming and friendly. I have had Lisa perform Ultimate Pedicures twice and I will change my schedule to get her every time. She is that good. My daughter also thought Kimmy did a wonderful job on her Ultimate Pedicure.I have visited the spa on several occasions and come to the realization that the Aquavana portion of the spa is just not relaxing. I feel that the Aquavana experience in Canyon Ranch needs to be removed and replaced. There are a few areas that are not comfortable AT ALL. The Herbal Laconium is just 4 marble/granite benches. The benches are a perfect size IF you have the behind the size of a small child but not for a grown woman, at least not any of the women I have ever seen at the spa LOL. Very uncomfortable and impossible to relax. The room with the cold mist is just you standing there getting hit with cold mist. No place to sit. Also not relaxing. There is an area to lounge before your treatment in the womens section. Normally we rest there, but this time it was flooded and wet, with wet floor signs and towels down. Looked a mess and not welcoming of course. In the common area, the Salt Grotto is also not comfortable. Hard benches, you dont really feel like youre receiving any benefit from what may or may not be a slight mist of salt that hits every so often.I love the Wave Room, the dry sauna, and the experiential rain shower but the common area where both men and women come together, maybe called the conservatory (?) is definitely in need of repair. Some of the lounge chairs have stains and the floor is also stained.I have visited this spa several times in the past. The Canyon Ranch facilities did not live up to my expectations this time.
I took 6 of my team here for shaves and cuts. Sean did an amazing job of making them feel and look great! The spa facilities were fantastic as well! Bravo Canyon Ranch! The only negative was the $40 valet fee.
30 minutes before our services were set to start, and as we were checking in at the Spa’s reception, our flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Hillary. We were in scramble mode for obvious reasons, and Han, the front desk agent at the spa could not have been more kind and understanding. She helped us move our services and she gave us more than enough time to sort things out. When we are back in September we cannot wait to come back here. I would highly recommend this group based on this experience - and thank you again Han, your kindness was truly felt.
My sister and I had a pedicure here and were up charged for a special polish, which is fine. However, for a service that costs $124 the polish was low quality and chipped in less than 24hours. The facilities are clean and comfortable but being marketed as a large facility. The facilities are grand but there is a significant amount of empty rooms and closed doors.
Ive been coming to this spa for over 10 years. I have witnessed first hand their quality continuing to decline, and prices continuing to sore.I booked a double reservation for myself and my birthday bestie, but the day of, my toddler woke up with a 106°. I also woke up with a cough, so I decided to call and cancel.Granted, Ive been to this spa AT LEAST 50 times and this was my very first time canceling. The girls on the phone seemed rather annoyed and there was 0 empathy. Thankfully, they did cancel without any penalty, but not before she gave me the spill on their policies.I think its time for me to look for other spa facilities 😞 which sucks because Ive brought so so so many people to this place.
My husband and I had services at Canyon Ranch Spa while in Las Vegas on vacation. The staff is professional, approachable and caring. Each member of the staff went above and beyond to check in and make sure our time there was better than expected. My facial was the best I’d ever had and I have enjoyed very good facials over the years. Natalia was the best! My husband had a massage with Sandra H. He was also very pleased and impressed. This has been the very best Spa experience. We will be back.
Loved the space for women, lots of different amenities, and facilities were clean and comfortable. The communal spaces were nice, well appointed and large. My only note is that if you wanted to spend a day or any water activity with a partner of the opposite sex it is not possible. For this trip that was not a concern but would deter me coming back with a male partner. For this “girls trip” the only down size was that for all the space and multiple rooms there was only one 6 person hot tub. The website says there are about 100,000 square feet of spa but I would say only 1/10 of the space is facilities. Most of it is hallways and locker rooms… the common spaces are bigger but it was weirdly small in other spaces. The staff was AMAZING, friendly and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this spa just definitely try and go during slow times as I feel like it would be less relaxing and definitely to crowded if there were more than 30 people in this 100,000 space.
Overpriced, but my massage was phenomenal. If you want a really deep tissue massage, and Jon is available, book with him. His handshake told me all I needed to know. It is a very big spa (biggest in North America they told me) with a nice variety of amenities. The wave room is not a wave pool and I fell asleep the the salt room. My favorite room was the sauna with the rich deep herbal smells. The person who showed me to my locker seemed a little bit off, but all other service staff were friendly and helpful. They give you a cute little bag of goodies, including your own tea bags and they dont just have a variety sitting out. I also did the rock wall and the people working it, who help coach you up the wall, are amazing. I watched her coach and woman who overcome her fear of heights and it was inspiring.
Weve had better massages, but left our couples massage feeling relaxed and thats fine. The waiting area was a bit dirty with stray napkins on the floor. Our favorite room was probably the salt grotto; I think we could have stayed in there for hours and almost fell asleep. Note that the experiential rooms are separated by gender so the majority of the space is not co-ed.
Cannot say enough good things about Canyon Ranch Spa in Las Vegas. The amenities are outstanding. Hot tubs, steam rooms, igloos showers, dry sauna and much more! The services they provide are amazing and the customer service is top notch! They offer so many relaxing areas before or after your services to relax, the salt room is my favorite. They also offer a restaurant if you want a bite to eat between services. They also offer a day pass option for people who just want to enjoy the amenities without having a service done. Our go to spa for every trip to Vegas!
My experience at Canyon Ranch was absolutely amazing. The check-in with Marlyn was fast and easy. Silva, the spa attendant gave me a tour of the facility, it was accommodating and made me feel comfortable in my surroundings. They were both so nice and made me feel very good and excited. I experienced 3 services: a massage with Loren, A facial with Tammy and a hair treatment with Freddy. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, talented and pleasant. I felt like I was in very good and capable hands the entire time. After my treatment, Pua made sure I had a great time and was satisfied. The spa itself is beautiful, clean and has a lot to offer. A great plus are the two restaurants located close by with a delicious selection and very attentive & friendly staff. Overall I was extremely impressed by my experience at Canyon Ranch and would definitely recommend the combo: massage, facial and hair wash/style. Thank you for making me feel special and relaxed 😊
RACHELL! I have had some decent massages in my life. The massage I just received stands out as the best EVER!.
I have visited so many countries and spa spots. One of the best spa mansions I have ever visited, better than over valued spa spots in Dubai or European countries. My fiancée and I had a great time and the best couple hot stone massage for 80 minutes. After the massage we enjoyed steam room , sauna, herbal bath , rain showers, igloo and hydrospa. Snack bars are nice and really needed. The staff is really nice and helpful.Staying in the Venetian is great and Canyon Ranch Spa is just wonderful , we will definitely visit again.P.S. Is the price higher than other places?! Yes, but I believe it worth the price because of the quality , multiple amenities , nice service and that the spa is located in the best hotel of Las Vegas.
Steven was my massage therapist and was very kind and professional. He check in with me throughout the service to make sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was right for me. I could tell that he takes his work very serious with the attention that provided. Definitely recommend especially if you are looking for a deeper tissue massage experience.
Pros:Spacious and not too crowded (although I went on a weekday)Feels luxuriousMassage was wonderful and staff was friendly.Cons:They need to figure out staffing. There were quite a few times I needed to roam the halls to hunt someone down. Even when I checked in, I waited at an unmanned checkin desk for 5-7 minutes before I wandered and found someone in the locker room. When I found them, they were very helpful.quiet zones are frequently interrupted by individuals calling our names for their appointments and people changing trash, coffee, snacks, etc. It’s really disturbing and with that, there’s no where to really get a quiet experienceNo outdoor areaAquavana experience is overrated (in myopinion). Still enjoyable, but not all that and a bag of chips 🙃 and the facilities within it are a bit outdated. But the locker rooms are nicely upgraded.Summary:All in all this is a wonderful experience, however for the high dollar amount and accolades they tout, I would expect a near perfect experience.
I don’t have much experience with spa’s, but myself and friend had a great experience. From scheduling an appointment to check in was a smooth and efficient process. Very polite staff. I had a good and beneficial time. My friend had a spa day and she loved it. We are not rich but for us the whole experience was wonderful. We did have a journey locating the spa though. We asked a security person for help and the place was a journey. Luckily the concierge was skilled enough to draw a map. The security person followed the map. We went on a several minute journey through corridors and lounge areas before we arrived at our goal. The Security person apologized for the long walk. The Canyon Ranch Spa is located in the Palazzo Tower and we were staying in the Venetian Tower. The walk was fun and relaxing if not informative. One must remember that the Resort consists of the Venetian Tower, The Palazzo Tower, and The Venezia Tower. So anyway, The Canyon Ranch Spa and the fitness area plus the indoor rock climbing wall were pretty good. The place also has many private nooks and crannies for lounging and plugging in your devices that I can’t even remember. I just Love The Venetian!
This was once considered the largest spa in the world. And it shows! Once you arrive you have a long passage down many hallways to get to the welcome desk. This is not a problem, but you need to allow the time to get in and out of there. The amenities are wonderful with a plethora of steam room, sauna, aromatherapy, and other comfortable lounging quiet areas. The massage therapist herself was very professional and experienced. I recommend this location and I recommend allowing a lot of time to fully enjoy the amenities before and after your services.
I went here in a layover and got a massage and body scrub. Both were terrible. The scrub was more of a scratch and body massage was lack luster. Disappointment cost me $490.00. Never get the services. Though the services were not good, the facility was nice. I regret not just getting the day pass, this is worth the $125.00 for the day. They are suppose to be in the top 10 spas, but missed the mark.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness in Las Vegas, and it was an outstanding experience. This spa exceeded my expectations as someone who values physical fitness and relaxation. All photos taken were approved by staff and towards closing hours.First and foremost, the cleanliness of the facility was impeccable. In my line of work as security, attention to detail is critical, and the Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness truly excels in this regard. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a pristine, well-maintained environment. The cleanliness throughout the facility gave me an immediate sense of comfort and relaxation. The exceptional level of service the staff provided was commendable. The range of amenities that this spa offers is genuinely remarkable. The state-of-the-art fitness center, with its rock climbing wall, was a definite highlight for me as someone who enjoys working out. The hydrothermal facilities were an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation, catering to all of my senses. The moment you step into this world-class spa, you are transported to a realm of soothing experiences that cater to all your senses. The Eucalyptus Crystal Steam Room is a sensory treat, with the invigorating scent of eucalyptus and intense heat welcoming you. With seating at the bottom, middle, and top levels, each level is increasingly hotter, detoxifies your body, and clears your sinuses. The crystal-infused steam adds an extra layer of relaxation, making it a must-visit for those seeking respiratory relief and mental clarity. After the steamy eucalyptus crystal steam room, the Cold Mist Igloo provides a refreshing contrast. The icy mist envelops you, awakening your senses and revitalizing your skin. For those who prefer to cool off without a subzero shock, ice-cold hand towels are resting in ice. The jacuzzi is perfect for unwinding, with Stone-Heated Lounge Chairs available.Experimental Rain Showers: These rain showers offer a variety of modes to cater to your preferences. Whether you desire a gentle drizzle of cool fog, a refreshing downpour from the tropical rain, or a revitalizing cascade of the Caribbean storm, these showers provide a customizable and invigorating experience that complements your hydrothermal journey. The mosaic-tiled alcove of the Laconium is an inviting spot to inhale herbal-infused steam, promoting relaxation and aromatic therapy for the senses. The Finnish sauna provides a traditional sauna experience with dry, heated air.The Dark Wave Room is a sensory delight with black, cushy loungers that tilt up toward the dome ceiling. Watch mesmerizing wave projections set to a peaceful ocean soundtrack. Conversely, the Salt Grotto often incorporates natural elements into its design, fostering a connection to nature that enhances the spa experience. The hydrothermal facilities at Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness in Las Vegas are a testament to sophistication and relaxation whether youre seeking warmth, coolness, aromatherapy, or a tranquil space to unwind.I highly recommend the Coconut Nourish Cocoon. This 50-minute journey begins with a sugar scrub infused with the natural goodness of coconut milk and honey. The scent of coconut and the soothing touch of honey create a sensory experience that transports you to pure bliss. After the scrub, you take a shot shower to wash off the coating, and the magic continues with applying a vitamin-rich body butter. What truly sets the Coconut Nourish Cocoon apart is the cocoon bed experience. The technology sends you into a zero gravity warming blanket that is a comforting embrace as you lay back. Its an experience that words can hardly do justice. My visit to Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness in Las Vegas was exceptional. The combination of a spotless facility and an array of amenities ensures your comfort and is ready to take on the world, making this spa a gem. , I highly recommend indulging in this spas beautiful experiences. Its a 5-star spa for me. The fact that Forbes gave this spa four stars is beyond me and bureaucratic.
The facial by Cynthia was wonderful. She was professional, calm, soothing , and knowledgeable doing the facial. 5 stars for Cynthia! The experiential rooms were small while the common spaces were larger. It can get crowded given the small experiential rooms but using these rooms past the hour when services are booked enabled me to use the rooms and enjoy peacefully.
I had a wonderful experience here!! It was my first day spa experience so I have nothing to compare it to..but it’s a GREAT way to start. The staff was super friendly and informative. I tried every single room. My fave was the salt grotto. Took a nap there after my massage lol. Had the body scrub/massage and a facial. Arrived at 12 and left around 6 lol. I am desperately trying to find a place similar to this in TX. PLEASE bring one to the Lonestar state!
My second favorite spa so far in Las Vegas. Giving 4 stars because they took away the locals discount, which I really appreciated in the past. They also didnt restore all amenities following lifting of restrictions. Additionally, some staff seemed cranky and overworked, so I hope they are being treated well. I also wish I could get my husband here too, but there isnt a co-ed hot tub or swimming area like at Resorts World (which is very expensive and also does not offer a locals discount at this time). That said, I love the experiences they have with the showers, sauna, herbal laconium, and wave room. It was helpful to go there when I really, really needed it, and I was able to book only a day before and still find multiple openings!
My spa experience at The Canyon Ranch was incredible and just what I needed to wrap up my time in Vegas. The customer service and attention to my needs made this experience remarkable. The Coconut Nourish Cacoon wrap service with Christopher C. was amazing. The customer service I received from Han and Holly was excellent. I highly recommend visiting the spa all day so that you can take advantage of all the services and amenities that The Canyon Ranch has to offer. They have a an extensive menu of services. Its pricey, but worth it...Enjoy!!! Recap from 10/11/22.
Very great experience. My massage therapist was one of the best Ive ever had and I get massages frequently. I wish I could remember his name. He was a tall Romanian gentleman who said he has worked there for 20 years (which says a lot about the company). He was so friendly and we had great conversation while he walked me to the room. I told him that I worked long hours on my feet, so he spent extra time on my legs and feet. I didnt even have to tell him to. He also spent plenty of time on my glutes which I feel most therapists do not spend enough time on the very important muscle. He used pressure point therapy which I had never experienced. It helped my body relax after working out my muscles. He was able to read my body very well during the massage. I recommend requesting this gentleman, he is amazing! One particular lady in the locker room (whose name I also cant remember) was extra attentive and brought the experience over the top. Facilities are very nice. I went during a slow day which I was thankful for. I could see it being crowded easily. Give yourself plenty of hours to enjoy this spa. It was expensive but my experience was worth it.
The staff at the reception will do anything to charge you a lot more than the services booked. I came here for the barber salon and nails, but the girls at the reception tried to put me pay also for a haircut. Moreover, they tried to take the money twice from us, from my wife and I. All the other personnel were very nice, but we felt like the girls from reception tried to screw us.The spa is nice and well equipped. It is clean and comfortable.
Absolutely enjoyed my first visit to Canyon Ranch. I splurged on a gentleman’s facial, sea salt scrub and massage. The facial was a spur of the moment decision made possible by the front desk staff who were incredibly helpful. I was shepherded back to the facial treatment room and met Tricia. She was absolutely the sweetest aesthetician and incredibly knowledgeable. I asked about all the products used during my service and she helped demo some available in the store along with following up with me via phone on some products I inquired about. The spa is massive. Lots of walking but know that they include a robe and slippers and relaxation is built in. From the relaxing waiting rooms, to the wave therapy room and salt grotto - this place has it all. My personal favorite was the herbal laconium. It was super hot and smelled amazing. I literally looked up at the star embedded ceiling and fell asleep. The tropical rain waters were also very cool and cold which helped wake up your skin after a soak/sweat. The crystalized sauna and ice room are located next to eachother making your path in the aquavana easy. Give yourself a solid 4-5 hours to enjoy the spa if you book a service. Exploration is key here. My massage by Christina was also heavenly. I literally fell asleep after my scrub because of how well the massage felt. She targeted all pressure points and isolated areas requested so don’t feel pressured not to speak up. I can’t wait to come back. Canyon Ranch has risen the bar in the spa arena.
Response: It was not that we were disappointed about lack of video recording, we were disappointed about the lack of transparency of rules and when asked what other rules there are of the gym not only was security called but again Michael laughed in our face and walked away like we were the issue. We asked what the RULES of your facility were and could not receive anything that stated what they were. The lack of honesty and transparency at the fitness center was wild to see over a three day period. Their manager Michael was arrogant and treated not only myself and my fiancé but another guest with such little respect. The laughing in the face, the lack of understanding of the gym he supposedly manages was beyond unprofessional. He stated marketing didn’t want signs of rules yet their rules are on the wall so when we were told a rule that wasn’t stated we asked what other rules are there so we don’t break them. He said they are verbal rules and won’t be put on the gym and gave an example stating if it were up to him there would be rules stating don’t slam the weights and closed toed shoes are required. They are plastered everywhere and could not comprehend that he was contradicting himself, we had security called on us and another guest for asking a question of what additional rules were there. Beyond disappointed especially considering with resort fees it’s $600 a night
The spa amenities, services and staff are really excellent and welcoming and I enjoyed my facial treatment very much but I cannot give the ‘largest spa’ five stars because I originally booked a mani/pedi and they offered me only a handful of basic gel colors to choose from ! I cancelled that treatment in favor of facial after seeing their disappointing selection of nail colors and booked a place off the strip that was half the price and had tons of fun and new gel and regular colors to choose from!
The common/co-Ed areas were lacking. There was only water and no fruit or light snacks available. The ocean room and salt room were very disappointing. The salt room didn’t feel at all salty. My massage was good and as described. The cocoon was really good. But the attendant kept coming in and out and was cleaning up and it was distracting. I would have preferred total quiet to really enjoy that service,My facial was disappointing the oxygenated one. I was taken to the room at 6 minutes past my start time And it ended after 42 minutes. She was very fast with all the movements and it was very hurried. I didn’t expect or welcome the “sales pitch” for skin care at the end. For a service of that cost it was very bad.In the ladies aquavana area it should be a quiet zone. It is hard to relax in the herbal room when a group of 4 are in the jacuzzi laughing and talking loudly. There should be co-Ed aquavana rooms for couples to enjoy together. I done that at other resorts. We spent almost $2000 yesterday in services and for the cost- I’ve had much better experiences.
We called on the spur of the moment and got a slot right away for a fabulous 80 minute couples massage. My wife loved all the amenities and having the full use of the spa, steam room, sauna, hot tub, relaxation rooms, showers and bathroom with all the extras to get ready for a night on the town in Vegas. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had a couples massage on our visit to the Venetian this week. The massage was not great and it was super rushed! It was not relaxing at all. They kept knocking on the door when the massages were done to hurry and get out. They kept opening the door as I was getting my robe on. Weirdest experience ever at a spa. The facility was also a little run down and extremely loud. I’ll never go back there unless things change. Horrible experience and a waste of money.
Amanda with the blonde hair is one the rudest employees I have met. She was working behind the desk. I spent over $250 at the spa and the way she treated me was unacceptable and despicable. She has an awful attitude and I just dont understand why she wants to treat customers so badly and then for the company, do they really want someone like that representing their brand?
Let me say that this was the best experience I had in Vegas in years. I went with a grown out pixie that looked like I had a tail... FREDDY is your GO TOOOOOO.. THIS MAN HAD MAGICAL SCISSORS ✂️. I absolutely loved my stay with this spa worth every dollar. I look more beautiful than I would have thought. Not only where they quick and efficient my couples massage was to die for. Please please treat yourself there it was amazing
Best massage I’ve ever had. Clean, beautiful spa with so many nice amenities. Steam room, sauna, specialty experiences like a Salt Cave, Wave room, rain showers and more. I spent 5 hours and could have stayed longer. Expensive but worth it!
Great experience - loved all the experiences prior to our massage. A very helpful employee in the womans locker room explained we should do hot cold, hot cold... so hot tub, igloo room .... steam room, experiential rain room etc.... the most relaxed I have been prior to a massage. be sure to arrive early to get the most of the amenities. Loved the salt room as well.
Everything was great from the friendliness, to the cleanliness and the availability of the all the amenities. However there were a couple of things that bothered me. I reserved a massage and a facial, both are timed services that did not start on time. My 80min massage was scheduled for 11am, however my masseuse didnt come get me from the sitting room until 11:10. The massage ended at 12:22pm, and while the massage was very good I felt cheated out of my time. The same issue occurred with the lady who completed my facial but I only lost maybe 5min on thay occasion. You are selling timed services to us with reservations but not starting in a timely manner so that we can enjoy all of our purchased time. Thats cheating your customers. Also, the method in which your team goes to the waiting area to find a client seems very unorganized
Where to begin here ... It takes like 20 to 25 minutes to get to this place once you arrive to the venetian. Relaxation? Forget it ... Felt like a convention center in there! My wife and I agreed we would not return to place even if it was $0.00. my 50 minute massage was ok, it was her second week there. What sorta annoyed me was that it was really like a 40 to 43 minute massage. The place is big but that doesnt mean its good...everything is old, not well kept, and spread apart. Lots of chairs and empty space. Amenities like drinks, fruit, snacks... there was just bananas, water, and tea. When I spoke with the staff, they said the area was built for conference space, etc. But that it was later decided to be a spa. Honestly, I would not recommend this place to friends and family. Go to Qua instead.
First, I will say it was clean and the women were very nice and helpful. The spa overall is just ok - it does look like a converted convention center and it was so hard to find from the Venetian.I had a facial - just ok. I’ve had much better for half the cost. My husband had a deep tissue massage his was just ok as well - they were also 10 minutes late to get him and they cut his massage by 10 minutes. It seemed like they may be over worked there and maybe that’s why our service was just ok. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.
I went to Canyon Ranch Spa for a dip manicure. It was very pricey but I know I would pay for staying in the hotel. I thought they would do a better job than going to a local. Boy I was wrong. Let me first by saying Gina was amazing as far as customer service !! She was very friendly and made feel very comfortable. But she did tell me she doesnt do many dips. I have been getting dip for at least 8 years! No matter how long or short my nails are my nails last 2 to 3 weeks. I spent $119.00 + 5.95 + a $20.00 tip to have my nails just come off the next day. What a waste of money. If you do not have the experience staff to provide this service you shouldnt offer it!! I would tell anyone who is considering getting a dip here dont waste your money here..Your better off saving your money for the tables!!
Loved my massage with Jess. She was so lovely and refreshing to be around. Great massage skills and helped me with lower back pain. Great tips about it too. The spa is wonderful to spend a few hours with friends or alone. There’s lots to do and many ways to relax. My fourth time back and won’t be the last
While the massage itself was great, the service leading to the massage was awful. My companion and I were supposed to have couples massages but beforehand we were to share about an hour in the shared space for couples. However, he was provided the correct instructions, and I was not. I stayed in the couples lounge alone until the final 15 mins. Also I was left to find everything on my own from my robe and towels to a locker. The attendant finally showed up when it was about time for my service. I was there at 5. Service at 6pm. No help until 5:40.
Really disappointed in this spa. Only gave it two stars because the staff is accommodating and friendly. We purchased a couples massage and got shorted on the time ( was only 40 minutes). The front desk overcharged the actual price but we didn’t realize it until after we left. There are no pools or spas you can enjoy as a couple. Will not be coming back again. So many better choices out there.
Absolutely loved this spa experience. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. I randomly booked a waxing service in the afternoon, and wasnt able to experience the full spa. I highly recommend getting there a few hours prior to your service so that you can use both hot and cold spa features.
Making an appointment was easy over the phone! Such friendly service right from the start. I went to Canyon Ranch salon just for a wash and blowout, since I didnt want to bring all my products and hot tools on my trip. Freddy (Freddie? I didnt get the spelling of his name) was a delight. He asked me what I wanted, was thorough with the service, and my hair turned out perfectly. Hes very sweet, and a great conversationalist, too. Id definitely recommend the salon if youre in need while staying on the property. Tip: take the elevators to the fourth floor from the Palazzo side - its a very long walk from Venetian...but youll get some steps in!
Once we arrived the spa was great. If you arent staying there it is a bit of a pain to get there. There is no good signage. It works be great if they explained to non guest how to access the spa. I had a facial and stone massage. The massage was amazing. Highly recommend. The experiencial rains were very nice.
TLDR: High price for high quality amenities: worth it!Great experience! Clothing is optional in locker room & gender separated areas, but most chose to cover up, and privacy is offered as well. Staff is very friendly & thorough.Fruit, trail mix, infused water, and iced tea are complimentary in the lounge. Hair products provided: brushes, gel, hair spray, dryers. Also mouthwash, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, flat irons, and aooo much more.My prenatal massage was great, and my husband enjoyed the cocoon experience. We arrived an hour before services, and wish we would have had 30min more. Couples/co-ed rooms (wave room, salt room, and conservatory) were very nice as well. The staff said we could come back to enjoy more (you get a day pass to Aquavana with $150 services purchase), but we had other reservations. No regrets! Great experience. Huge spa. We’ll be back!
They require closed toed “athletic” shoes (whatever that means) in order to use the fitness center. I was wearing my adidas slides with socks so I asked to sign a form stating I accept the risk of injury, damage etc. and relinquish my rights to compensation for such injuries and they still refused to do anything. The only thing they could offer me was to purchase athletic shoes from their shop (or I could go downstairs and buy some.) It’s funny that they’ll let someone who’s old, or with an underlying health condition use their facility that would pose more of a risk than me with my slides who workouts 6x a week powerlifting/bodybuilding. But just one look at the staff, and particularly the manager Will, is sufficient evidence that these people themselves have never even stepped foot in a public gym a day in their entire life. If they did they’d see and understand that weight lifting and “athletic” shoes pose more of a risk of injury, ergo a lawsuit to them for injury to my person, than my Adidas slides would.*update*My husband came in about 30 mins later and there was an older woman in the facility with thong style flip flops (no socks!) working out and the staff let her in to workout without raising a fit like they did with me. So it seems like they only enforce the rules to the people they decide is worth enforcing the rules with. My husband went and told the same staff member that stopped me because “those are our rules” and told her that if they are going to enforce the rules with one guest they need to be enforcing it with everyone. What a bunch of hypocrites. So if you’re looking to stay at the Palazzo, just know this place leases the space from them and they have a bunch of people working here who pick and choose what demographic of guests they allow in their facility. Prejudice and ageism is alive and thriving in this facility.
Kind of scammy. They advertise promos on their website and at the facility, etc. We showed up for a bachelorette party and several girls didn’t want services but just to do day use pass for the extras they have around the spa. We get there and they tell us they don’t do day passes on the weekend (clearly stated on website day passes ARE offered on weekends but at a higher price), so 3 of us were going to not be able to join the other girls after their services. Spoke to a manager and he said only way we could do day pass was to buy a service. Sooooo those of that didn’t want to purchase a service we were now faced with buying a service or we wouldn’t be able to join the rest of our party to enjoy the amenities inside. Purchased a facial based off of the manager upselling me again to w more expensive facial because it has a free gift with purchase worth over $150. Seems worth it, a good deal right?! Facial was great, the extra amenities were great also. Get to the end ask where my gift is and the promo ended 2 months ago! But they are advertising it all over the spa. Same with their website, promos advertised that are not valid. Ughhh Talk about ruining the vibe after trying to have a fun relaxing day with friends. For what I spent here i could have gotten an entire spa package with 3 services someplace else. I’m in Vegas a lot with family here so definitely won’t be going back to this place nor will I recommend to anyone.
I absolutely LOVE this spa!!! The exceptional service I receive from Gerry, Spa Revenue Manager, the front desk staff and my girl, Aletta, in the spa is what keeps me coming back time after time. Las Vegas has many options for spa treatments and day passes but the Canyon Ranch Spa is by far the best. The facility is beautiful but the staff is awesome. It is wonderful to be remembered and valued and the staff here does just that. The Canyon Ranch Spa offers so many ways to relax your mind and body making it a wonderful afternoon escape or in our case, a several day retreat a few times a year. Do yourself a favor and check out this spa...
This was the biggest rip off ever. Made reservations for me and my husband to have a couples massage. Or so I thought. Not reallythe case at all. Checked in and told the gentleman that it was for a couples massage. States ok lets get you checked in and secure your payment. First of all it was nothing like I expected. Shower area not clean hair everywhere. Who uses a shower thats not clean during a pandemic. I could never despite that.No phones allowed due to it being clothing optional. Basically I was told heres a robe. Over there is the shower. Down here is this, that, and the other. Thanks for ruining my first massage experience. Wouldnt recommend doing this as a first timer. No compassion or explanation of anything. I understand that you guys were super busy. But this is unacceptable. How can you take peoples money and give awful service. I guess thats my fault. If I had read the reviews I would have know. I sat in my suite and cried my eyes out. Meanwhile I guess my husband got his massage. Maybe they explain the process and services to the men better. I couldnt believe this was supposed to be a 5 star experience. You should never assume everyone is familiar with your way of doing things. Thanks for making my last day of vacation unpleasant.
This is a great place to indulge yourself. The facilities are wonderful. I was only here about six hours - and really needed the entire day. I had a massage and the pedi and both services were great. All staff were helpful from the reception folks to especially the womens lounge attendants. The attendants kept the lounge immaculate and were so helpful.I would not want to be here when it is full though - because it has a large capacity.
This massage was part a reward won, so I did not pay...and I wouldnt have. 1) communication on service is poor 2) the therapist that I had seemed like an amateur at best. The amenities at the spa seem to be nice, but I never used them due to heading directly back to the front desk after the massage to vent my complaint. They offered no solution and they basically told me that they performed services so they could do nothing about it!Shame on the hotel, as service everywhere else was top notch. Unfortunately due to this experience, I will be staying elsewhere upon my return. Obviously, management doesnt care to handle a dis-satisfied guest!
Loved it so much that I came back after the pandemic. So worth every penny. Be sure to come at least an hour PRIOR to your appointment to take FULL ADVANTAGE of the spa amenities. Great place to relax and rejuvenate. Please observe the QUIET ZONES. Many come to relax and just be. Just listening to the soothing music. Please be sure if you MUST TALK. Go to the area where it is allowed so that others may enjoy the solitude.
I had a very nice massage and thoroughly enjoyed the steam room, sauna and ice shower. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly although some of the ladies were hard to understand. I’m taking off one star because it was a very far walk from the Venetian and even in the spa itself there’s long hallways which are tricky to navigate if you don’t know your way around.
Loved every moment. Highly recommended especially couples retreat. Only thing I wish I knew was that the sauna, jacuzzi, steam room are not co ed. Its no cell phone so my husband and I couldnt communicate regarding meeting back up.
This was my 2nd visit, the spa was so clean and the staff was incredible. I spent 5 hours here and needed more! I had a 80 min facial. I have had better services back home but they are still very nice and the spa rooms is where it is at. I would even buy a pass to come and not even get a service. There is a hydrotub, igloo room, heated stone loungers, sauna, crystal steam room, experience showes (like fog, Caribbean rain storm, tropical etc...) salt room, wave room, comfortable waiting area so bring a book! I can sit there and just read! Showers and all amenities you can think of: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, brushes, mouthwash, toothpaste, styling products and deodorants, hair ties, spf, lotion etc...Love this spa!
Wonderful massage (50 minute, relaxation) and facial (50 minute, vitamin C).The Aquavana therapy rooms are closed, due to Covid. However, the social distancing requirements make it feel like your own personal spa. I only saw four other customers.I feel like the services here are more professional than comparably priced ones elsewhere. One criticism, the spa slippers were incredibly uncomfortable. I had been walking around/sightseeing all day, so my feet already hurt. Then it felt like walking barefoot over hard gravel. I understand the slippers should be water resistant. But they should be at least a little padded.I also found the front desk staff to be pretty rough. I scheduled last minute, 2:23 for a 3:00 appointment. She demanded that I bring the cash immediately, instead of at 2:45 check in. She also didn’t give me a total (that included 15% required tip and tax) over the phone. So I grabbed 400$ for 368$ of appointments. Then she almost didn’t let me in. I had to swear I would run immediately after and get 40$ more for tip (which I did). But as a guest of the hotel, I think I could have been trusted a little.I found out the next day that Trump hotels had massage and facial for 130$ each, which is a significant savings.
Literally one of my favorite places Ive been to in LA Vegas. I brought my boyfriend here for his 30th birthday weekend. After nights and nights of drinking and dancing, we definitely needed a recharge. And we did just that! The meditation room was INCREDIBLE, we havent been since before COVID but I still rave about this room to EVERYONE and ANYONE who will listen. And that room was just the beginning. The couples massage was TO DIE FOR. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The drinks are delicious and so refreshing, especially in the scorching heat that is Las Vegas.
We had a terrible experience at this Spa. The front desk and management need a refresher course in professionalism and attentiveness to schedules. I wanted to give a 1 star, however, the actual therapists are good…just under terrible management. Paperwork tossed everyone. No one really knowing what’s going on. A manager that stays sequestered behind a locked door with only girls in their workout gear coming and going (super odd). We had 24 services booked yesterday and our group felt incredibly under valued- frustrating, non-relaxing day to say the least. Want a great spa in Vegas? Head to the Bellagio!
By far the BEST massage I have ever had in my entire life. Three of us decided to go as part of our vacation and the other girls had an equally delightful experience. We decided on Canyon Ranch Spa on a whim after finding a discounted treatment package and researching the spa facilities. The facilities themselves were wonderful, although limited in number and space. Not a place to go to with a large party. The atmosphere was intimate and serene, perfect for relaxing. You can spend as much time as you want using the facilities once you’re in. We would’ve stayed until closing if we didn’t have other activities scheduled afterwards! Overall a wonderful experience.
My daughter had her hair and makeup done for her wedding, it was quite a maze of tunnels and hallways to get to it from the Venetian The hair stylist and makeup artist were both very good and my daughter was happy with the results
It’s a Palazzo side entrance location. So it’s easier if you park and come from Palazzo side. Canyon ranch treatments prices start from 198$ plus tips per 50 min and 349$ plus tax and tips for a 80 min and it’s super expensive, but taking into consideration few hours using sauna, steam room, rainforest and foggy showers, herbal loconiums, egloo cold room, jacuzzi and conservatory and relaxation rooms , it’s 100% worth it. I spend my whole day there , from 7 am till closing . I had coconut and honey body scrub in cacoon in a floating bed and full body coconut butter massage and it was very calming and balancing experience, I enjoyed it. Make a time for yourself , you deserve it. They also provide you with sneaks herbal tea water and coffee. Next door there is a breakfast bar for smoothies and food. I had a berries parfait with granola and yogurt it’s was healthy and good ! They do not provide pool access if you are not staying in this hotel . ( Palazzo or Venetian)
The 5 stars are for the Canyon Ranch Salon!I had the stylist Devone Philavong and she was outstanding.....The kind of outstanding worth flying to Vegas just to have your hair done!My mother had an outstanding stylist too! I can’t remember her name, but she is from Greece. We walked out of there feeling and looking wonderful! The Spa itself (Three stars) was included if you purchased a service. Which made the haircut and style an even greater value! We hot tubbed, steam bathed, steam roomed, aromatherapy and quiet spaces were just added pampering. The spa staff was extremely nice. The “Non-guest” walk into the spa was a little daunting and long. I was a little apprehensive trailing down long corridors until I found windows to get a view of the outside. Venetian guests can access spa from the pool area.
Canyon Ranch fitness and spa is located in the venetian hotel in Las Vegas. I’m not going to lie it’s quite a trek to get there however once you arrive, the staff will greet you with warmth and a friendly smile. The amenities are top-of-the-line and the massage therapists are fantastic. It’s a great getaway to pamper yourself even for just a day!
I have had many high end spa treatments but this was by far the most expensive and the worst massage I have ever had.The facilities are amazing, but very loud and not all places are relaxing. The area that you are in before you are called to meet your therapist is very nice and could be very relaxing if there wasnt so many lights.I had a full 80 minute massage and added a foot revitalize (because I have a severe case of plantar fasciitis) to my package. I really was excited about this add on because my feet were killing me after walking around for 3 days. They told me that the extra package would not be included in my 80 minutes ( I guess it was 10 minutes long) but I was out of everything in an hour and 30 minutes. That was dressed and in the showers. The final part of my massage, I am assuming was my feet, however after a few rubs my feet were covered in a warm towel for about 30 seconds and then I received about 10 more rubs and I was complete. I paid an extra 27.00 to have a warm towel wrapped around my feet and 10 extra rubs. (WOW, that was wasted money). The lady that did the massage was very rough. She would yank the blankets around when starting and then throw them back on when she was finished.I always love having my hands, fingers and arms massaged near the finish and boy that was a waste too!The herbal room was the best room in the whole place but only 4 people could go in there at a time. The seats werent very comfortable and relaxing, but I loved the smell in the room. Unfortunately, so did 2 very loud other women.I read a lot of the other reviews before I went and saw where some people were not very impressed while others were, so I thought I would see for myself. I only gave the place a 3 because there are a lot things to work with, but the massage itself was a definite 2 at the most. The front staff was very welcoming and nice. He even talked me into get the extra foot session, but it wasnt worth it.I will be staying at the Venetian again, but I will not be visiting the Canyon Ranch again. I will go to another hotel to get a massage at a cheaper price and a way better massage.
I would like to give this 3.5 stars if that was an option. There were some things I liked about it, including the massage itself, but in a town with so many great options, I would likely try other places (or go back to Qua, which I loved) before returning here. The facilities look a little utilitarian rather than luxurious and there are not as many niceties as some of the competitors offer. Additionally, my massage therapist was 7 minutes late to get me and wrapped up 2 minutes early, making my paid-for 80 minute massage only 71 minutes. And while that might not seem like a big deal, that means I was shortchanged more than 10% of my massage! At the price per minute, that was $32 worth of services I paid for and didnt get. Add to that th e fact that there is a mandatory 15% gratuity and 3% service charge and it totals a customer who likely wont return despite the fact that the therapist was talented.
Lovely facility, but not worth the money. My nail extensions are lumpy, and one came off less than a week after services. Polish selection was extremely limited and safe, no fun colors or specialty finishes were available. I expected better from the exorbitant price tag.
Open from 8 am to 8 pm, hours in which you can enjoy relaxation in the different rooms such as: rain experience that is unique, you can choose 3 different experiences, the tropical, thunder, freezing rain, the water comes out at a certain pressure that gives massage your body and head, with sounds and special effects, dry and humid steam room, jacuzzy, herb room, etc. ,, there are exclusive areas for women and others for men and a single mixed area. You are provided with a robe and sandals. The only thing I did not like was the massage, it was not professional at all, it was like Inter a little oil to the body and it was all. Price? $ 400 for 2 people plus 18% tip, total $ 460. I recommend it. They provide water and snacks and there is an eating area if you ask for food and you can have access to the hotel pool as this spa is inside the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
Excellent massage and ambience. Had Laura as my masseuse. Her hands keep moving; excellent touch and feel for sore spots and right amount of pressure. Definitely ask for her. Spa amenities are good too; as expected from a high end place. Good relaxing couple of hours there.
I was here for aws reInvent 2019 so decided to try the massage treatment for the first time in a spa.I got the regular massage and had Mandi (Amanda) as my message therapist. She was amazing, really got into all my tensions and had me feeling like a new person afterwards. So good I had to follow up and make another appointment for the next day. All day spa amenities access was very nice to enjoy after the massage. I personally liked the saunas and ice showers. Also enjoyed the various sets of relaxation areas in the spa. My mom was with me so I had to get her the treatment and she enjoyed it as well! Would definitely recommend if you have the budget for it.
Me and wife did some very high end spa services but didnt fill the value for money.Although, great SPA facility. Recommend it with day pass, very relaxing. Service was really good!
Was staying at Palazzo and decided to hit up the gym on the Venetian side after all the eating and some drinks. This place is the biggest gym Ive ever been to in a resort. They had rock climbing, cardio room, weights room, etc.Very large and not crowded at all. Some of the equipment could be better, but impressed in the overall size.
Good for the easily impressed! As a person who frequents spas often, customer service is very important to me, which this spa lacks. The check in process was very slow, the desk was understaffed and something that should take 5 minutes took 20. I usually get to the spa 30 minutes before my massage to enjoy the amenities, when the checkout takes 15 minutes longer than it should that cuts away from your experience. The locker room attendants were actually very good at their job. The massage was excellent, however when you finish, if you want to tip you must give them your credit card and a seperate transaction must be made, which is a big inconvenience. The service at the checkout was horrible, the manager should take the Ritz Carlton course on customer service. My recommendation is the spa at the Encore, which is literally next door. Best spa in vegas, comparable pricing and close proximity.
Had a wonderful experience at the spa and salon in Las Vegas. The people were extremely nice. I had my nails done at the salon and they look great! I also had a body treatment and facial! Both were amazing. The facial was probably one of the best Ive ever had. Great job Melissa! Great atmosphere, very quite and calming!
Me and my housband always enjoy visiting spas around the world together. Every spa we visited have at least a commom little pool, commom spa or jacuzzi for men and women, so we can enjoy together all the time. Canyon Ranch has no water or wet experiences for couples in the amenities, only the relaxation roons or you have to separate and go alone in the female or male jacuzzi. Very disappointing. We visited a lot of spas with the same prices and with a so much better experiences for couples in the commom amenities.
First of all I love this spa. It’s literally my favorite. So when my friend decided to get married we booked services here. Everything is immaculate & wonderful, amenities are the best in the city. But for some reason they have treatment rooms right next to the day club. So while I’m trying to relax during my massage all I can focus on is the thud, thud, thud through the walls. It was awful! I can’t believe this from a place I always stay is one of the best spas in the United States.
I own a spa so my first impression was loud and hectic. The lady telling us what to do and where to put our things we couldn’t for the life of us understand her ! A lot of people and jacuzzis was sooooo small for like 5 people! I didn’t like the CoEd space with men! It was uncomfortable should be in a space only ready for your treatment! So many people and felt very cluttered! Loud people weren’t told to be quiet. Service she was super nice facial was good ! Felt more like a number then if I was getting a professional service. Not really personal to my needs . Who pays or tips before a service????? WTH so lame I tip after it ????? Never in my 20 has that happened paying before and tipping ? That’s not ok ! I said I am not tipping until after the service!
Positives: A good value for the basic entry price ($50 USD weekdays, $75 weekends), many facilities to explore, lots of staff to guide you if you get lost. Quick response from staff when alerted that a couple was getting a little too intimate in the co-ed Wave room...Negatives: no natural air or light... the entire facility is an indoor rabbit warren of dark doorways and hallways. Despite lovely aromatherapy everywhere else, the whirlpool stinks of chlorine. I hope the spa seeks a more modern and natural way to keep this water hygienic?
Visited on a Saturday mid afternoon in January. It wasnt too busy but by 4pm it was very quiet and not many people. I went for a day pass: they gave me slippers, assigned me a key to a locker, locker had a robe, towels and water a plentiful, showers and vanities are well stocked with toiletries and blow dryers. The stations I visited in the ladies spa were: the herbal showers, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, aromatherapy room, ice room, and the nap/rest area where there is coffee and snacks. Its a small walk to the communal areas, there I visited: the sound/meditation circle room, the atrium for some tea, and the salt room.
Where to begin. First, when you promise a customer a service, you need to have the tools to provide the service. I called to see if the spa was able to do acrylic nails. I was told yes. Second, if you can’t provide your nail techs with the necessary equipment to do a stellar job which customers expect in Vegas, then you should not charge $125 for the service. Disappointed and debating cancelling the rest of my spa services. My nail tech was phenomenal, the staff as a whole was phenomenal (front desk offered me 20% off) but the finished product is truly a disgrace. Had acrylic nails for over 10 years and of all places a high end spa in Vegas has done the worst job.
I had an amazing facial from the very experienced Gina. So relaxing and my skin looked and felt so hydrated afterwards. Shout-out to Han too for her excellent advice and service in the shop. See you next time, both!
The spy was amazing. My masseuse knew exactly the spots ahead to help me decompress and relax. I highly recommend the spa. If you havent been when visiting Vegas. You will not regret experience
I had the most incredible 50 minute massage. My shoulder was very tight from a lot of travel lately and an old injury. My therapist not only provided a great massage but recommended some stretching exercises to help it from not happening again. The facilities are amazing. I wish I had arrived 2 - 3 hours prior to my service to use the spa, sauna and all these other rooms they have that looked really cool. Next time I am in Vegas I will head over there to work out in their gym and use the steam room.
11/10 haircuts. On the pricier side, but seems like a fair rate in Vegas. Shon is the man and cleaned me up great after 6 months without a cut. Will come back the next time I’m in Vegas.
Brought my mother for her 70th birthday on March 19th she came from Scottsdale, AZ. the spas amenities are amazing! however 3pm came and I went to my massage. when done i discovered my mother never had her massage bcz someone apparently confused her appt with someone else (same first name) and moved her appt to 6pm!! so my mother never got her massage! got a refund but really!?
My spa experience at Canyon Ranch was nothing short of phenomenal, but my initial interaction with one particular staff member was shocking to the point of disgust.I had booked a full day of spa treatments at Canyon Ranch for me and three of my closest friends. Hungry, but fearful of being late, we grabbed a few things from Starbucks and headed upstairs. We signed in with 30 minutes to spare. Hoping for something more satisfying than a lukewarm croissant, we made a beeline straight for the Canyon Ranch Grill...where we had the displeasure of meeting Daniela A.As my friends were taking their seats, she walked over and barked, “You know we don’t serve Starbucks, right?” And before any of us could reply, she stomped away.I asked to see a copy of the menu and was ignored. At this point two of my friends walked away, completely insulted by her attitude.I stayed, and on my THIRD request I finally received a menu. Daniela left the area and a few minutes later, her manager appeared. I’m not sure what Daniela expressed in private, but her boss was working feverishly to smooth things over. The manager invited one of my friends to sit, but she politely declined. In response, Daniela began to SLAM empty plates on the counter and DEMANDED that she sit.She then started yelling across the room at my friends who had walked off, insisting that they come back and take a seat. She was loud and viscous, and this unrelenting aggression incited an argument. At this point other customers are beginning to stare, and my appetite is completely lost.Considering how incredibly kind every other employee had been, this savage display was not only surprising, but disturbing. She glared, sneered, ignored, screamed...every aspect of her character was vulgar and unwelcoming. To say that she was discourteous would be a gross understatement. Her behavior was brutish to the point of being obscene.
My wife and I had the best time. Arrived early and stayed till 5pm. I had Joliene for my massage. She was very experienced and extremely personable. Thank you for a great day. After meeting several repeat guests, I think the weekends can get very crowded. We went on a Tuesday and the Spa was nearly empty in the morning.
My experience was awesome! I had the stone massage and my therapist was fantastic! Very skilled and wonderful. I wish the spa had its own private pool, but the rest of the amenities were on point.
My Husband and I stayed at the Venetian for our Honeymoon, as part of our twelve nights stay we treated ourselves to a full spa day totalling over $800. I deeply regret not reading the reviews on Google/Trip Advisor before booking as all of the flaws from at least 7 years ago are still present today. We had to check into 3 Reception desks before reaching the Spa and each time we were just repeating ourselves over and over again. The first receptionists printer broke and this had a knock on impact to our treatment times and by the time we had reached the third check in desk the staff were very impolite and annoyed that we were late for the treatment (through no fault of our own).I was given the wrong size shoes, a dressing gown and told to get changed with no further contact or direction from the staff, a locker was allocated and that was that..... After returning back to the female reception desk to find out where I go for my treatment and how I then link up with my husband for our joint treatment I was once again reminded how late I was and that I was supposed to be somewhere else (small male/female waiting area). ... How would I know this is no one has told me?My husband had the exact same experience through the Male process/changing facilities and was a further 5 mins late for our first treatment as he (by now a good 20 mins into our treatment time). We have been to many, many Spas as couples and individually but we have never both been stressed out by the Spa itself. On the surface the facilities looked basic and the Spa is large with loads of staff standing around chatting instead of being attentive and professional. Ultimately at this point we felt like the day had been ruined already so we didnt actually want to go ahead with any of the days treatments, to be fair to the Massage Manager she listened to our complaint and arranged for a refund for the whole day.Overall we felt that the staff were under trained, impolite, unprofessional towards our needs and as the Assistant Manager was not concerned with addressing/understanding our complaint to make things better for other future guests (Which upset us most).
Excellent service. The Receptionist was very friendly and she got me right in for a hair extension service. Highly recommend Devone as a stylist. She did a beautiful job with my hair extensions and we had great conversation and she was so positive and uplifting!!
I ended up getting the King’s bath and a scalp massage. The massage was ok (not worth the price), but the scalp massage was the worst I’ve ever gotten. You would think they’d step it up a notch, means how it’s at a fancy hotel in Vegas. My scalp massage lasted about 5 minutes. Anywhere else in the world they do 20 to 30 minutes. I added the tip prior to my massage thinking there wouldn’t be an issue because I’m getting services at such a fancy place... The spa area itself was so crowded and loud. I had to wait for a chair to sit down in. Go elsewhere for the price.
I loved canyon ranch. Visited with my mom and sister and really enjoyed all the different rooms and areas in the spa. My massage was definitely not the absolute best especially for the price tag. Also the check in and out process was a bit of a hassle but we planned a whole day so time was not an issue. I would return!
I booked and prepaid for a 90 minute massage and a nail treatment for my husband for Valentines day. He had a hard time finding the spa and was a few minutes late. I would understand if his 90 minute massage became 80 minutes, because he wasnt there on time, and they need to keep a schedule. But, instead, they said he couldnt have a massage at all, and that they keep all the money. They didnt give him his other treatment either. So, I am out hundreds of dollars, my husband got no Valentines gift, and Canyon Ranch Spa Club lost a frequent customer. Beware. You had better get there early, or they will rip you off!
Hands down the best spa I have ever been to. There is no other spa that comes close to offering all the amenities that Canyon Ranch offers along with your services. Make sure to show up first thing in the morning, because it is an all day experience!!
If youre thinking of getting your hair styled. ask for Davone. Shes very experienced and knows what shes doing. She gave me a great layered hair style and this is me saying shes the first one who has impressed me across the USA for a style alone service. she was very friendly and recommended a Express keratese treatment that softened my hair for 35$. I am taking one star off for the high price for longer hair. and thats not her fault. Clean place too !
I loved the herbal laconium. If you spend $50 on spa services you also get a spa day pass. I purchased 50 minutes of rock climbing for $50. I enjoyed the spa so much that I made a return visit. For my second visit I spent $50 to have my eye makeup done. The spa rooms were very relaxing. They provide a vast array of toiletries and hygiene items in the vanity and shower area.
Tried to schedule a massage for my wife and 1 daughter while the other had a facial. This was going to be a very special treat since we just don’t do this type of thing. We will not leave our teenage kids alone! So since I didn’t want any services I was told I’d need to pay the $51.50 spa charge to sit with my daughter while she had a facial and my other daughter was with my wife having a massage kind of a rip off but I agreed. She went and talked to the manager and came back and said I’d also have to have a service of some sort in order for them to accommodate us, I could not just sit with my daughter by paying the $51.50 spa fee. Lost out on my $730 which I’m sure is minimal to a facility like this.
I really enjoyed my 80 minute massage with Isaiah. Schedule yourself early so you can enjoy all of the amenities without feeling rushed. It is a long walk to the Canyon spa through the hotel be ready...
I had the best massage of my life tonight by Clarissa. Let me back up though - I showed up a day early for my massage and the lovely person at the desk was able to fit me in just 30 minutes after what I thought was my original appointment. I was given a robe and slippers and a tour. I had no idea this spa had so much to offer and I’m proud to say I tried it all! Some before the MOST AMAZING massage ever and some after. I will be returning. Thank you to the staff and to Clarissa for easing my tensions and troubles away!
Love this spa. Been here 3 times already. Thinking of going a second time on this trip. Its relaxing the people working there are nice and take their time to ask what you need or what you want from your experience. I love the ammentities they have, the wave room the salt room was really cool and relaxing. The only thing I dont like is the clothing optional parts of it. Some things I would want to enjoy but without seeing naked people. Use a robe or bathing suit. Go on a weekday morning a lot less people. Plus I love the fact that you can leave and come back during the day. If you go during the week its open later then the weekends so you can spend more time there. Yes its expensive but its worth the money you spend. Best relaxing spa Ive been to.
This is my second visit to Canyon Ranch. Each time I visit I have high hopes but ultimately don’t enjoy my experience as much as I expect to based upon the amenities. It is a large facility but it’s chaotic when appointment time comes. There was confusion as to my appointment and I waited into my treatment time for masseuse and the appointment did not run over to accommodate. The massages that I have gotten there do not correlate to the price points they are offering.
We booked our vegas trip at the Venetian because a minors could use the spa amenities with an adult. We were told specifically we could use all the hot tubs and plunge pools even with a minor. Keep in mind this is the whole reason why we booked this resort so we could all use the spa. we get to the spa we payed 75 dollars for the 3 of us to get in, we get our tour, and what do you know we are told that minors could only use the lounge. What in the hell. Their website is so mis leading. Do not go here. I recommend you take your service elsewhere to a spa that actually knows how to market their product. Even when we checked out the spa for the first time the lady said minors could use all the spa equipment except the little room. Stay away!
Simply the best hotel gym I’ve ever been to. Very clean and well maintained. Spacious, with a ton of room and tons of high quality equipment…Cybex, Techno Gym, Prime Fitness and Hammer Strength. A nice sized CrossFit space as well. The trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Devone and Hector are probably the best and friendliest professionals I ever cross paths with . Devone is an absolute star, very caring and did my hair beautifully. She was the reason I went back everyday while I was staying at the Palazzo. Hector is an amazing professional as well. He worked his magic on my lash extensions that never looked so good and natural! and the makeup I did with him was absolutely flawless. He understands how to bring the best out of each individual. Very caring snd kind as well. Canyon ranch is lucky to have such incredible professionals as Devone and Hector, really rare to find.
Lovely space, wave room is nice, but not what I expected: a room with chez lounges and reflections of water ripples on the ceiling.Got the rasul treatment and it was awesome. Only for couples, not fat/disabled friendly space, but great service and the technician was just adorable.Every other part of the spa was completely accessible for wheelchair/scooters.Definitely worth going but if you are not interested in a service, the amenities arent a strong enough draw.
I have been here now twice. Both times the services were excellent and I really enjoyed the amenities-especially the herbal steam room, wave room, salt grotto, and the tropical rain shower sequence! Check the promos section on the site for discounts year round on certain services. A star was lost because both times although I arrived with adequate time prior to my appointment, I had to wait long enough to check in that I started to worry that I needed to rush. After a lengthy check in procedure at the front desk (staffed both times with only one person) when I went to the next desk to get my locker assigned and sandals both visits there was no one there when I came back so I had to wait once again. It made me stressed out that I was running behind when I came to relax! That however was completely alleviated once I received my locker and received my treatment and enjoyed the amenities.
We booked a group today and have not had a so relaxing time! We booked 6 massages and were rushed the whole time. The only thing that was enjoyable was the massage itself. The spa was at capacity and you could clearly tell with all of the women waiting in line for showers. You could not enjoy most of the saunas because they were full. At the end of our visit the group manager argued with us for ten minutes in regards to a miscommunication at check in due to them rushing us in and not paying attention to our individual pay. The biggest disappointment was the group manager arguing with us in front of everyone checking in. We would not recommend or be back.
Just OK. Amenities were either broken or crowded. Vibe is more of a convention center than a beautiful, tranquil space. Treatments were nice, but they picked you up 10 minutes late yet finished on time. Turned me off to the Canyon Ranch properties. Other Vegas spas are far superior.
Outrageously expensive. Lack of usable amenities. Long hallways, people walking everywhere many lost and not a great experience with massage. Everyone on cell phones. This is not your Canyon Ranch experience. Smh.
Tyler, the massage therapist was simply amazing! Great pressure and helped me locate this lower left back pain I’ve been having for 2 years and correcting my posture. Thank you!!!The spa club itself was amazing, relaxing and so happy I went on a Monday morning where it was so quiet and calm.
Worst spa experience I ever had. Hydrospa (hot tub) was not working during visit. Strange that there were no TV screens in the lounging areas...never seen that in a Vegas spa before. Noticed that some signs stated that I was in the womans section. Looks like they switched sections and the mens area got screwed with the nonworking jacuzzi. If you were a woman, you got everything working. Snack and beverage selection was extremely poor compared to Qua Spa at Caesars ( which is where I recommend you go instead). I will NOT return to this spa. Please AVOID at all cost.
Spent $400 on Wednesday on eyelash, hair and makeup and was told that while in the Venetian Resort I could come back for the eyelash in case they fell off. Nope They want to charge me a fee higher than what I paid them for the eyelashes at their salon. Terrible customer service.
We had a couples massage and that was fantastic!! However all of the normal amenities were closed. $519 for a 50 minute couples massage seems steep considering that is all we got. The prices should reflect diminished amount of amenities.
Roxanne! She is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. I’ve been doing my hair blonde for years and I’ve had ups and downs and straight up disasters. I have major trust issues when it comes to my hair and I have been searching for “the one” that I could settle down with and I finally found her! I’ve been through multiple stylists in the 9 years I’ve lived in Vegas, I’ve spent hours researching reviews online at the top salons trying to find the best of the best this city has to offer. I’ve been to the Wynn, MGM, Caesar’s Palace, and various other salons around Summerlin and nobody impressed me quite like Roxanne. She not only found the absolute perfect shade of blonde to compliment my skin tone, she did it without damaging my hair or burning my scalp. She also perfected the haircut that I’ve been trying to get with the last 4 stylists I’ve been through. She was sweet and fun to talk to, and took care of me the whole time. Oh and her scalp massage is heaven! She said she has a special technique that she does when she washes your hair which is why she does it herself instead of letting someone else wash her clients hair. She is a treasure and I don’t need to search anymore finally I know my hair will be perfect every time. Oh ya and for the balayage style that I get, I’ve been having to go in to the salon every three months to get it redone because that’s how long it takes for it to start looking faded and unnatural. Roxanne said I won’t have to come back for 6-8 months! That’s amazing what a deal! If you are blonde and particular about your style, you can trust Roxanne to take care of you. The salon was beautiful as well everyone else treated me wonderfully and the products I bought are fantastic. My hair is so soft for just having blonde put in it. Thank you Roxanne and Canyon Ranch!
Great sauna, but my 80 min massage lasted 70 at best, and my deep tissue was really light. Nice therapist, but way overpriced for the service. Ill go back to getting massages off the strip.
I came to Las Vegas for 5 days. I booked treatments for my self a week in advance, every day at 2pm. Well, my facial never happened because I am Acutane and the spa forgot to let me know. Last day’ s massage also did not happen due to scheduling issues. The staff is quite nice but obviously incompetent in the function they have... I also hear that Ceasar’s has great spa- May want to stay there next time- very disappointing.
Being a local, we usually dont venture down to the strip too often. Went here on a friends recommendation. Facial with Kymberlee and pedicure with Trish was just plain awesome. Would definitely come back here again!
I was highly disappointed in my service and treatment during my time at the spa. I got my nails and toes done for my wedding. My nail technician utterly destroyed my real nails drilling them until it was painful, and rushing through my time there. She cut my nails to the point where two of them started bleeding at the cuticle and broke skin along the side of two of my nails. She continuously added that she needed to hurry and get my nails done because she had another appointment. This was my first experience at a spa and I was highly disappointed. I felt like I was rushed out and not given the proper services along with my time there, and to add that I spent three times the amount choosing to get my nails done at this spa because I was looking forward to a high quality spa. Unfortunately this did not happen I am not one to complain but less than a week later one of the acrylic nails broke off while I was typing. The paint is fading off and as a customer I am very upset with the service I received.
I recently had a pedicure and was very disappointed. For $125, I would have expected a luxurious, long leg/massage. The massage lasted about 5 minutes! I wish I would have gotten a pedicure at home BEFORE I came to Vegas! I would have saved $90 and had a better experience!! Don’t waste your money!!
I made my appt for a massage in person at the Venetian desk with Caesar. I booked a massage. I asked him what to bring with me. He only said i.d so I checked in with such, a half hour before my massage.I heard the rep (that evening) check in a woman before me and explained the gratuity and other amenities. I had not been told those. Upon my turn I followed the rep as she told me the directions to the spa...a super long hallway with twists and turns. I arrive at another desk and get to clarify my info.....yes my massage is booked, yes you can pay now including a 15% gratuity or pay gratuity after plus u must pay a service fee. I was not informed of that. You have access to all facilities 2 hours before you service. What?!?!?!! Wasnt aware. I didnt even have a bathing suit with me.Showed to the facilities. Im to undress and put the robe on. Lock my belongings up. I wait in a ladies lounge. I get called and my masseuse leads me to our room. Fine. She is a wonderful woman.Massage was sub par. Not any thing I wouldve tolerated at home. I had a knot under my left shoulder. It went unaddressed. She pretty much ran her fingers along my spine to neck about 5 times and called it a day. What am I supposed to say? Tell her how to do a proper massage? I paid $140 for this!I did not get to take advantage of the steam room, any of the Aqua room things. I had no bathing suit, thanks to Caesar. I showered in a fully stocked shower and went on my way. The attendants were helpful. Sometimes unsure of what to do to help me, but tried their best. So disappointed. I was there for my 15th wedding anniversary. Not sure I will be back to Vegas. I advise not yo put your eggs in this basket.
I went in for a massage, had to check in to multiple desks, with ZERO help and guidance. The atmosphere is loud, bright, and not relaxing at all. They yell your name loudly, the place is a mess, and with the exception of one or two people the staff is not friendly. The hot tub is tiny and I would not pay for another service here. I also was trying to link up with someone and we were both told to go different places. Super unorganized and NOT relaxing.
I received a prenatal massage today from Karen. It was wonderful! Im only 14 weeks pregnant and my body has been feeling good so far, but this massage made me feel great. I also recommend the Salt Grotto. The spa is beautiful, but you could easily get lost because its so big. You just have to really pay attention to where you are and read the signs carefully.
The receptionist with red hair is unprofessional and not solutions-oriented. She failed to resolve a simple issue that her male colleague resolved in a few minutes. What happened to women helping women?! Not at this spa. If you want positive vibes and helpful friendly staff, book at Awana at Resorts Worlds instead.
I got my hair colred by Tessa. She listen to my thoughts for hair color and delivered. My hair looks vibrant and refreshed. I highly recommend her.
This is a spa for people that have not been to any other spas. The reception, the locker rooms, and facilities look cheap, bright and not relaxing. The masseuse was average.below average as well as the overall experience. I would have given this place 3 stars but the facilities at the Wynn and even the Palms is better than this place. Spend your money elsewhere.
I love this spa!! 100% worth it. Just FYI: using the gym area of fitness center is part of your resort fee. The spa itself is extra (confusing bc the fitness classes are also part of their offerings). The different rooms they have here are beautiful, unique, and super relaxing. Also FYI, some areas are co-ed (e.g. the salt grotto), so you should wear the robe, and other areas are within the locker room area itself so you can be naked (e.g. lounge, jacuzzi) :)My only gripe about this place is that sometimes, Bachelorette parties roll through here, so many of the rooms will be loud w/girls talking, and my guy friends who have come here said the mens side is virtually silent/empty, because dudes dont gossip / talk very much. But normally, you can just avoid the big groups if you rotate which room youre in & relax somewhere else, while youre waiting for them to leave that area. I just wish there was a no conversations policy in the spa, because it makes it less peaceful. OR, if they want to talk, they should book a private block, so they can have the entire spa to themselves. They do have showers here, so you dont need to bring shampoo / conditioner / body wash either. They have some stands located in the main area & the locker area that provide water, fruit/nuts, or tea. You get a small locker & they give you flip flops. Make sure you bring your key with you at all times.Attendants are super nice, but the only annoying thing Ive seen is that if you have an appointment scheduled for facial/massage etc, one of the ladies always forgets your name/what youre there for, and has to come ask multiple times. Ive never had these services, but Ive seen it while Im in the lounge, and several other Yelpers have mentioned it... Its just kind of annoying when you are trying to nap or relax. If you get a service ($50 or over) then you get access to the rest of the spa for the day! I normally get a manicure or a haircut, since those are the 2 cheaper services on their list. Everything on their menu looks AMAZING, but I’m afraid that those will not be worth the high prices. Honestly besides the 2 services I mentioned, everything else seems overpriced & I don’t envision you’ll get equally higher service or quality for what you pay.
Do not book this spa. Do not. It is not in The Venetian. There are no signs. It takes over 30 minutes to walk there going through creepy hallways to the Palazzo. They are terribly rude and not accountable for not advising you of their location. Why advertise they are at one hotel and be at another????Find a better nicer Vegas resort.Staff and management are not friendly. Go to Ceasars
We have been to many different spas around the country. Weve visited the Ritz in Laguna, the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, and most recently, the PGA National Resort and Spa. The Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venetian and Palazzo resort in Las Vegas was by far one of the better spa experiences. Amenities within the spa were abundant, the staff was friendly, and the spa was clean. It was worth every penny and more. I highly recommend if you are a couple, to try the couples retreat! It was romantic and very relaxing.
Although pricey, this is amazing spa experience. Tons of rooms. Sauna. Steam, salt, wave...showers and tons of amenities. Great staff. Had a massage from Steve. He was fabulous!
Worth a stay at the Venetian! Staff are fantastic! Chantelle very accommodating, helpful and courteous. Alan is an excellent Massuse. Calming atmosphere, refreshing scents make this spa a perfect get away from the noise and smoke of the casino. The young lady who assisted me on the phone was so pleasant and really understood my needs. I unfortunately cant remember her name.
I had a wonderful experience in salon Canyon Ranch. It was my birthday and Carley did incredible job with my hairstyle. She exceeded all my expectations. She was very friendly and professional. Thank you very much for the most beautiful hairstyle I have ever had.
Paid $140 for manicure just to leave and still see dirt under my nail, nail art wasnt great but I didnt want to complain because the lady was so nice...probably should have asked for a refund.
I was here piggybacking on my husbands convention because it was our anniversary weekend as well. I decided to try the day spa pass. Now I did read the reviews here and on Google and I figured Im only doing the day pass so how disappointing could it be? It wasnt great. I am sorry to state that the majority of the poor reviews are right on. The spa itself is very maze-like and confusing with limited signage, and while the staff is very nice, this is not a relaxing environment at all. People were having not-so-quiet personal conversations in the Quiet Zone room. The Salt Grotto was not really a Salt Grotto at all. The Wave Room made you feel like you were looking at an inverted drain. Perhaps the worst part for me was heading into the Aquavana treatment area to encounter extremely small saunas that could probably fit about only 3 people comfortably. And a thermal bath which was a Jacuzzi the size of my in-ground spa at home. Surrounded by only four thermal chairs. It gave you the feeling like you were on top of everyone, and I had decided to go in flagrante delicto under my robe... I did not even attempt to get into the water because I felt like I was literally going to be climbing on someones lap getting in. Shame. I was kind of looking forward to a few hours of relaxation, which I definitely did not get.
I absolutely love this spa! You get free access to the spa facility when you book a massage. I have visited this spa about four times. Its still my favorite spa! If you dont get a spa treatment you can actually pay for a spa pass and use the facility. There is so much to do. There is a few hot tubs and an aromatherapy igloo to cool you off when you get out. It still has the run of the mill spa amenities such as a sauna & steam room. The things that really set this spa on a different level is the following:1. Salt room/mineral room: room made of large pink salt blocks. The bench is shaped with an ergonomic wave, which wraps around the room and is made of salt blocks as well. There is a water feature (mini waterfall dripping on salt). The ceiling features twinkling lights that look like stars.2. Wave room: Dome like room that is very dark with super squishy ergonomic navy wave chairs. There is a little pool thing that makes waves and casts the water squiggles on the dome ceiling. For some reason this is my favorite feature of the spa. Its as if you were teleported to a little bubble under the sea. The sound of the mini projection pool making waves is so peaceful.3. Igloo: freezing cold water mist paired with aromatherapy to cool you off when you get too hot from the steam room, hot tub, or sauna.4. Conservatory: coed area of spa which features healthy snacks, water, coffee, tea, & reading material. A place where you can chat with lots of seating. There is a really good salon there. Ive gotten some good massages and one that was terrible. The one that was terrible was because the lady wouldnt be quiet and just vented about her problems. People payment to unwind and relax. They are trying to get away from their own problems, not hear about yours. Its terrible etiquette. I dont want the person who I just met 3 minutes ago to tell me their life story. I just want to relax. I wont allow that 90 minutes ruin my opinion of this spa. Its a great way to spend the day. I would highly recommend if youre visiting the Las Vegas area.
The best gym I have ever been to in my life!! Roomy and had every bit of fitness equipment you can think of. The quality of the equipment was the best! Friendly staff had excellent communication skills and assisted me whenever I needed them
The rock wall climbing is open to everyone to see and can cause you insecurities and issues. I tried to thank my husband and instructor but had on lookers from a ledge. I didnt notice them until after. I thought I was thanking my husband and instructor but instead it seemed like I was thanking these strangers. I t made a good trip turn bad quick.
The gym area is very nice with lots of free weights, cardio equipment, cables, and plates. You can utilize any exercise ranging from yoga classes to hitting the bench press. It is expensive for a one day pass if you are not staying at the Venetian ($50 USD), but the gym is free if you do stay. There is a restaurant and other services available which I did not use. I do wish they provided cleaners or wipes so you could wipe off the equipment. It is constantly cleaned by the staff, but it would be nice to have them on hand. Overall, a very nice setting to work out in.
I had a wonderful day at Canyon Ranch SpaClub. I booked a private rock climbing lesson with Marra Winters who was fantastic and enjoyed it immensely. When you do a a private session you also get the gym classes (I did Barre and it was great) and full spa day pass - which was fantastic and the one price for all helped to soften the blow of a $50/day pass for guests. Loved it. Would definitely do this again when I return to Vegas.
I used this spa while a guest at the Venetian, so I cant comment on the massages or other treatments they offer. The facilities themselves, though, were very nice and definitely helped me relax. I even went back a second day towards the end of our stay! However, I can see why some people might not like it.The check-in process: seems needlessly confusing. If youre staying at the Venetian, you encounter a desk where you can pay and/or look up your previously booked appointment. Then you walk down a long, twisting hallway, which (I think) leads you into the Palazzo, where there is another such desk. The receptionist at the first desk told me not to stop at this second desk and to just go straight in. Then once inside the locker room you encounter yet another desk where they actually give you your shoes and a locker. And potentially a tour. Honestly, the quality of this part of the process seemed to vary dramatically based on time of day. The first time I went, it was close to when they opened with only one or two other people, so I got a complete tour and any questions answered. The second time was in the afternoon and I think the staff were assisting other guests. Luckily this time I didnt need a tour, but if it were my first visit I would have been confused and annoyed.Locker rooms: are large and open. Theres a small changing area behind a curtain if youre shy. Unlike other spas with push-code lockers, these have tiny key cards that you keep with you around your wrist.Whirlpool: is oddly small. I would say max 6 people if they knew each other, maybe only 3 if they were strangers. There were six heated lounge benches around the pool which were comfortable, but not super relaxing in the echoing whirlpool room.Experiential rain showers: These things sounded fun on their website, but are way too cold to actually use.Igloo: If the rain showers werent cold enough for you, here is an ice shower!!Herbal laconium: Small, but nice. No steam, and not as hot as a sauna. Since I find both saunas and steam rooms oppressive and difficult to breathe in, this was good for me, but I can see how it might disappoint other people.Relaxation lounge: Super comfortable! Lots of different kinds of comfortable chairs, so youll find a good relaxation position no matter your preference. Although the space is actually relatively large, it still feels intimate through the use of curtains and furniture to create nooks. Also well-stocked with different magazines. For me, the stand out at this spa were the co-ed spaces since I usually visit with my husband. Most such places are almost entirely segregated so I dont see him at all. Here some of my favorite rooms were the co-ed ones!!Co-ed lounge: large and airy, but similar to the lady-only lounge, furniture clusters create more private nooks. Water features create a soothing background noise that drowns out other peoples conversation.Salt grotto: A relatively dark space with twinkle lights in the ceiling and heated benches. I really liked this room! Maybe I just miss the beach.Wave room: This was my favorite room. It looks kind of weird when first entering, but just give it a chance and youll get into it. Its incredibly quiet and round with a dome ceiling, where the colored lights of an ever-moving water fixture are reflected. You recline in padded loungers to stare at the ceiling (or take a nap!). Very relaxing!Food/beverages: Like most spas, they provide bowls of fruit, iced water with lemon, iced tea, and, my favorite, MELON WATER. Its just water with melon balls in it, but is definitely an idea I will be copying at home. Refreshing!Anyway, I can definitely see why some people might have had bad experiences at this spa. Like everything on the Strip, its expensive, and may not be worth the price depending on what you like in a spa experience. The staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful, and the areas were all clean and cared for. Im not sure if Ill be back, but I liked my visits!
My husband booked a 80 minute deep stone massage for my 75th Birthday with an experienced Masseur named Alan who was absolutely terrific. Totally relaxing ! Each person at the spa was polite, helpful and informative and my experience was wonderful.
Yes its big but facilities are no more luxurious or extensive than youd expect to see in a good quality gym. Further, the facilities are not mixed therefore if youre planning on having a romantic spa time with your better half your limited to only a couple of relaxation areas. A pretty poor experience for a five star resort.
My boyfriend and I , we visited the spa few times in the past and I have to say it was great in the past but out last visit was horrible. We booked the couple massage and were hoping for a nice relaxation time together. Unfortunately , the massage was horrible... my boyfriends deep tissue massage was not what he was expecting, my massage was... lets say this: the worst massage I ever had in my life... I felt like my masseuse was rushing , skipping my arms and cutting on the massage time. Because it was my boyfriends bday weekend , I didnt want to make a fuss about it but I contacted the spa after our trip ...and nobody wanted to help..we wont be back for sure . Im very disappointed
I love visiting here when I’m in Las Vegas. Very relaxing and offers a lot of amenities. I easily spend a whole day here just using the day pass. My favorite is the Salt Grotto. Management sorts any concerns you may have right away too. Thanks Canyon Ranch. Will be back in a couple of months.
Not friendly at all! From being greeted downstairs with really rude security, to their overall customer service. I was trying to make an appointment in person, and unless you already have an appointment they wont let you in. I wasnt able to make the reservation online, that is why I was trying to make the reservation in person. I called them, and I could barely hear them since we kept getting cut off. I told the representative I was trying to make an appointment, would it be possible to come upstairs to make the reservation and she said no unless I have a reservation. How am I supposed to make the reservation if we keep getting cut off?
I have never had a more life changing experience. My massage therapist performed more than a deep tissue massage. She healed years of neglect and muscle damage. She was able to Immediately stop my shoulder pain and taught me several stretches to continue the healing process. I cant thank you enough for your help. God bless you...
