I found Kala Decker on facebook and looked at some of the work she had done and was extremely impressed. I went in with high hopes, and kala absolutely exceeded my expectations by a long shot. She was very professional when discussing what she would be doing, the pricing, and confirmed everything with me before doing anything. I didn’t expect to leave with the hair i wanted that day because i wanted to go so light, but she absolutely made my vision come to life. She made sure i okay the entire appointment and made the whole experience extremely comfortable. Kala has such a strong creative flair, and i love that about her. Her personality is beyond welcoming and she made me feel so beautiful. I loved my experience, and my hair and absolutely cannot wait to see her again!! Ive seen Michael Carter twice now for highlights and a cut at the Tates Creek location. The results have made me very happy! Hes so knowledgeable about the products he uses and is gentle with your hair. Just a wonderful hairdresser!

Ive been going to Beth Mclemore at Posh for many, many years and shes the best! We have been through a dark-hair phase, a very-blonde phase, a medium-blonde phase and really more phases than I can count. But with each change and crazy idea Ive come up with for my hair, shes been a great listener and advisor. Shes always had my hair looking just how I wanted. As a person, shes patient and kind, and she always tries to make sure Im comfortable when Im in the salon. Her associates who help her are also so great and I love how patient and kind she is to them as she teaches. Its a great environment and I highly recommend.

Beth is by far the most talented hair stylist I’ve ever been to!! I tried to go blonde for years and was never happy with the results until I met Beth. I’ve been going to her for years now and she absolutely kills it!! I’m obsessed with my hair every time and I constantly get compliments (she’s soo good at making it look natural that people are shocked I’m not a real blonde) On top of her amazing work she’s such an enjoyable and funny person to be around. I also have loved every single one of her assistants. I couldn’t recommend Beth and Posh salon more. Very grateful I found her.

I had my hair and makeup done for a wedding and the girl who did both did a wonderful job! She listened to my ideas and concerns and made sure to make the best final judgement. She worked with what she had and even though as for the hair, some breakage and not super thick hair, she still managed to braid what I wanted. As for my skin, with a little dryness, she still managed to work with that and make the makeup look beautiful. I felt confident and can honestly say, if I need hair or makeup services in the future, I will definitely be going to Posh!

I had my hair cut and eye brows waxed a week ago today, on the 11th of Jan. I came home feeling worse than when I went in. The 5 Stars that I posted are for Nora who fixed my hair today, the 18th of Jan. Thank you Nora for making me feel beautiful and giving my eye brows shape and life again. I highly recommend Miss Nora.Judith V.P.S. The spot behind my right ear was Not Noras fault. I have a bald spot back there.

Shyanne Harrison is the best hair stylist I have ever been to! She takes the time to listen to what you want, always makes my hair dreams come true! 10/10 recommend. Don’t trust anyone else with my hair 🥰

Chelsea is excellent! It has been a struggle finding a stylist who knows how to cut and style wavy/curly hair. She gives me great advice and I trust her. She has a fun and warm personality and I am so glad I found her! My curls are always bouncing after my haircut.

Bailee is the absolute best! It was my first time going to her and I will never go somewhere different now! I came in wanting a big hair transformation and she did exactly what I wanted. I LOVE HER!

•KALA DECKERi’m not one to ever post anything negative about other people’s services when it comes to jobs. i wish everyone success in whatever field they chose to go in. however, i recently went to Posh Salon & Spa off of richmond road in lexington, and got my hair done by Kala Decker.. After confirming a week prior, and ordering 3 packs of weft extensions, the vision that her and i both agreed upon turned into a botched mess of 3 different colored non blended hair. 12:30-7:30, 8 hours of 2 different bleach baths and multiple different toners, blaming her inability to do blonding correct by asking if i had a thyroid problem because my hair was ‘rejecting’ everything ( the copper hair that i walked out with says otherwise) I walked in with light/ white blonde hair , then to blaming it on the lighting inside of her salon. 3 packs of extensions in which are not cheap at all, and her services i was out roughly $500 for the services, in which she refuses to refund even partially because ‘ the money is priced through the salon.’ instead offers to fix it ‘on her’ Monday. whenever someone messes your hair up so badly, no one in their right mind is going to go back. To destroy someone’s hair on a Thursday and tell them to wait until MONDAY is outrageous. Not even 24 hours later and i had to go get a color correction, in which is costly, but took her not even 2 hours to correct. Making this post was my last resort, after communicating with her the desire for a refund, because to send someone out of the salon with 3 different shades is unacceptable, I have emailed the salon, in which i will talk to management regarding this. If you’re in the lexington area, please stay away from Posh salon and spa , Kala Decker.

I love this place!! Hailey Collier is my favorite stylist! I’ve NEVER left disappointed. She gets me right every time. You can really tell when someone loves what they do. Hailey is truly an artist!

I have been seeing Beth for almost 2 years now and I LOVE her! She always does exactly what I ask for and makes sure I love it before I leave the salon. I trust her with my hair and always leave happy. She is the sweetest ever and is so easy to schedule with! I have also been really impressed with each associate she has had with her. Katie Isom was absolutely wonderful and amazing! 🥰🙏 She was such a sweet person who was very thoughtful of my hair length since I was cutting off more than half of it. She was mindful of what I told her about my postpartum hair loss, and she constantly and consistently offered me services just in case I needed them. I could not have asked for a better stylist! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently made an appointment at Posh Salon for the first time. I loved the whole vibe when I walked in, it’s very welcoming. HARPER D. was awesome! I love my pink and purple hair! I get so many compliments on it. I do know for a fact that she excels in “ normal” colors also 😉 I highly recommend her.

I have had bad experience after bad experience at other salons but this salon was amazing! Breann C. did my hair and I walked out so happy with how I was looking. She did a fantastic job, i will definitely be back to her!!

Andrea Zinser has been so phenomenal with all my waxing needs!! She’s such a lovely, caring, personable, knowledgeable and positive person! I’m so blessed to have her as my esthetician!! Her waxing prices are very reasonable. I also love that she works on Saturday because that’s the only day I can get my waxing done. She also has her own very clean and relaxing room.

It’s never a bad day when I get to start it at Posh! Excellent atmosphere and everyone that works there is so kind and knowledgeable! Rachel and Emalee have helped my hair tremendously.

I would have given 5 stars but the salon books too many people. I had highlights/cut done by Amber B. and she was absolutely amazing!! She did a phenomenal job and I will certainly be coming back to her chair! My services took almost 5 hours and we actually did not get to finish blowing out my hair, because the salon had too many people booked around the same time. Also, most of the girls at the front desk were rude and sat giving dirty looks!

The worst. Wanted a few highlights put in my hair. That’s it. Showed her a picture of what I wanted. She changed the color of my base! Full highlights! Scalp burning. Did not know how to blow out hair. Flat when I walked out. Quoted one price charged another. There are two owners. She offered to redo my hair the next day. I said ok. Looked at their website of hair they had done and realized they don’t know how to do hair. Everybodys hair is dull and fried. She said they have colorist graded one through six. I had asked when I made my appointment for a colorist. Unless you want blue pink purple green or braided don’t go. The worst my scalp is still burning two days after I had my hair done. You’re paying top prices for beginners just out of school. 185.00 plus tip.

I desperately needed my hair done and decided on a whim. It was very easy to book and they got me in right away. Peyton did my hair and it turned out amazing. I came in with unrealistic wants after someone previously messed up my hair. I didnt realize how bad it was till peyton showed me and explained. After explaining what i wanted, she explained her process and shared her knowledge about my hair and what we could achieve. Instantly i trusted her. She is so knowledgeable and very kind. I had a great experience with this salon and this artist. I will definitely be going back.

I LOVE Posh and Hannah! It is always a fun environment from the time you step in the door. Hannah is so welcoming and helpful when I’m not exactly sure what I want with my hair. She’s the BEST. I’ve been going to her for almost a year and haven’t gone anywhere else since our first appointment!

Sabrina is AMAZING! I had my very first Brazilian sugaring with her and it was such a wonderful experience. She was extremely personable, kind, and professional. She made me feel very comfortable and I will definitely be a returning client!!

Peyton and her team are the best of the best. She is amazing at giving highlights that match your complexion, and look 100% natural. When I went in, I asked for sun-kissed, low maintenance, NATURAL highlights that made me look like I went to the beach. When my friends saw my hair afterwords, they told me I looked like I had been out in the sun, which is EXACTLY the look I was going for. She gave me exactly what I wanted, while still maintaining the health of my hair. Peyton is professional, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. If you are hesitant about getting your hair done, this is your sign to book with Peyton. She is incredible.

I have been getting my hair cut and styled by Katie Isom for several months. I love that Katie is willing to cut and style my hair how I like but also give realistic feedback on what hair styles I could wear well. She always does an exceptional job. Additionally, I’ve always had an easy time scheduling with her and can often schedule a day in advance.

I’ve been seeing Hannah B for years and she’s the only person I trust with my hair! I’ve moved away and I still travel from out of state to get my hair done by her two times a year. I tried a few places near me and no one is as good! She makes me feel confident and always listens to what I’m thinking and feeling, and knows exactly how to make me look amazing!

After moving from LA, and going to four other salons in Lexington, I finally found my spot at Posh Salon. The owner Tab is incredible, and her staff is second to none. Harper has been doing my hair for a while now and shes absolutely fabulous. If youre looking to find a place where you are seen, heard and celebrated - this place is it.

I have been going to Posh for 4 years now. My stylist is Peyton and she always does an amazing job on my highlights. She does the perfect blended blonde and my hair looks good even after it starts to grow out. Everyone else that works here who I have meet is super friendly as well! The salon is always clean and they use the best products. I love getting my hair done here!

I drove all the way to my appointment for a men’s haircut just for them to tell me my stylist is running behind and that they will have to reschedule me for the following day. A call would have been nice. Do not recommend.

Jessica D. is AMAZING!!! She gave me exactly the hair I wanted all while keeping it super healthy and in my budget! I went to Presley for the first time a few months ago and will never change!! I recently moved to the area and had to find a new hair dresser rather than my old one due to her being 3 hours away- and let me tell you, one sitting with Presley was worth 4 visits with my prior hair dresser!! I had the most incredible pedicure by Debbie. My feet have never been softer. She also gave wonderful product recommendations to take home. Bunnys swedish massage was out of this world relaxing. I literally felt the stress melt off my shoulders. My hair looks fabulous. She is a hair doctor. The conditioning treatments and highlights brought my curls back to life. I cant believe I let my gift card sit in my wallet since Valentines Day. This place is perfect for any occasion and everyday of the week to make anyone feel revived again from the stress of everyday life.

Sarah is amazing and does such amazing work. Not only is she so talented but she is also so kind. She goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable, and feeling okay during the whole process. Great experience with Posh Salon and Spa! I’ve been coming here for 3 years and I am in love with the work my stylist Iris Reams does. She is amazing with lived-in blonds and helping me keep a low maintenance hairstyle.

Shania is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had! Coming from out of state for college I bounced around hairstylists a ton and couldn’t find someone I felt totally comfortable with and trusted completely with my hair. She’s the first person I continue to go back to every time I need my hair done (literally ever!) I couldn’t imagine spending 3-4 hours an appointment with anyone else!! She truly gives her clients what they want and is always honest in her approach. She’s the best!!

Being from out of state but going to school in Kentucky, I was very nervous to find a new salon. I asked around and got SO many recommendations for the stylist Shyanne at Posh Salon and Spa. I started looking through her profile and fell in love with her style. I finally decided to message her and she responded and got me booked within the hour, fastest service I have ever experienced. At my scheduled appointment, I was immediately greeted and brought back to the wash station. I forgot to get her name which I really regret, but the woman who washed my hair was so sweet from the start. We had the best conversation and realized I used to go to the salon she worked at back home! After we finished, she brought me to Shyanne. A lot of times I have difficulties at new salons because they don’t follow the same techniques that my old stylist did (especially since I needed a few inches cut off), but I decided to accept the change and leave it to her and I am so happy I did. She cut it the perfect length, perfect layers and amazing styling. With this, she also taught me how to use a curling iron with a clamp since I had just gotten one and was clueless, and gave me recommendations to keep my hair healthy (even recommended affordable products rather than most salons who just try to sell their expensive stock). We then went to get some pictures and set up the next appointment. I usually just get a haircut every 4-6 months because I hate getting my haircut, but I immediately set up my next appointment for 8 weeks later. I am so happy I got this lucky with the first stylist I tried, and am so excited to keep going back. 1000/10 recommend!!

I have been coming to Posh on Richmond Rd for several years for several services. In 2023 I started getting my hair done there by Hannah, and haven’t looked back since!Hannah is amazing and does a great job as well as being super nice and figuring out exactly what I’m trying to describe. Additionally, she has cut my child’s hair, and does wonderfully with him! The salon itself is always clean, bright, open and airy. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. I look forward to my time there every appointment!

Emalee Doolin is my stylist at Posh & she is absolutely amazing! I showed her pictures of what I wanted done to my hair and she exceeded my expectations! She explained which products would work best for my blonde hair and how often I need to come in to keep it looking healthy. The salon itself is very clean and so cute! I highly recommend this salon & Emalee as your stylist!

Posh is my home away from home. The whole crew is so warm and welcoming. From Tabitha keeping the salon staffed with amazing people, Jersey and Alicia at the front desk welcoming you in and keeping up with your appointments to all the talented people inside who are excited to make you feel beautiful. Nora is my hair artist and Tiffany is my lash expert. Theyve both become personal friends. Its a whole therapy session every time I get my lashes done and I get so many compliments on how pretty my lashes are!

Rachel True is the absolute BEST at what she does! She knows exactly what I need and makes me feel so confident and beautiful. Getting my hair done is my favorite activity because of her. I recommend her to everyone I know. 🫶 She just did my extensions and absolutely killed it!! I’ve gotten so many compliments on how natural they look.

I have known Rachel True since she was a beautiful little girl. I used to be her babysitter and now she my hairstylist for life! I love Posh & Hollis! Hollis always makes me feel like and old friend and does a wonderful job. She goes over and beyond in making sure that I love my hair and the entire experience. I started going to Grace Arthur about two years ago and she is the absolute best! She always does a fantastic job when she colors my hair. I can always trust her opinion on what she thinks will look good. 10/10 recommended going to her for your next cut or color.

Nora is my stylist and she is awesome! I just recently had a pedicure by Katrina and it was great.

My review is being removed by the owner apparently... and now I can’t post the pictures of the “master” stylist’s work. Hmmm... I wonder why??? I am responding to a review my daughter Randi Felker made and apparently is blocked from replying to a response from Posh, according to their response they are confusing my daughter with another apparent customer who had also had to return multiple times for the same problem, they stated she was a no show to an appointment and she never missed any appointments, clearly the quality of their hair “masters” are overly exaggerated by this salon. It seems to be a theme that they claim people do not show up to appointments that are made after people clearly are disappointed with initial visit. Clearly they are confused due the the assumingly amount of people that have to return to have their hair fixed. They stated it was the boxed hair dye that was the problem with the results, but she used a color remover prior to her initial appointment. Her hair was strawberry blond with a slight tint of pink in it. The quality of the work shows in the pictures below. 1 st four pictures after second visit , fifth picture was after first visit, and sixth picture was what she originally asked for. And they charged her $ 200 for this hair color. Would not recommend this salon! edit other pictures are not posting, but you see their quality after round two!

This was my first time at Posh Salon and I will certainly be back. Carly made me feel so welcome from the minute I arrived and listened intently to what I wanted done. She is skilled at and passionate about what she does, and I couldn’t be happier with my balayage and haircut!

Before I came here, I was getting my hair done in Dallas and I’m very picky when it comes to my hair, especially since I’m a blonde! So hard to find a good hair stylist who can do blonde hair. I googled and searched all over and Shyanne from Posh Salon and Spa had the best reviews so I thought I’d give her a try. One of the best decisions I’ve made!! She’s amazing! Does exactly what I ask, and I’m on TV for my career so again very picky and she makes me feel like a million bucks every time! Nails the color every time whether I want lighter or darker. Worth every penny! Highly recommend her.

Went to see Grace Arthur in hopes of fixing a botched (blonde) highlight. My expectations were well exceeded; she completely transformed by hair, for the better!!! Highly, highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to do a highlight. Aside from her terrific work, the atmosphere and customer service are commendable! Will definitely be returning.

Posh’s prices are higher than most nail salons in Lexington, so you can imagine my surprise when our experience felt far less than premium.My mother and I were there for mani/pedi. The first time we showed up for our appointment, they couldn’t find our reservation. We rescheduled and went back, but I wish we hadn’t. I felt the technician was rude to my mother, a woman in her 70’s and someone who is experiencing memory issues. When my mother became confused about which color was picked out, the technician laughed at her. Not just a harmless chuckle, but a prolonged laughing episode, saying that it was the funniest thing she had heard all week, and then sharing with another employee to involve them in laughing with her.Adding to her rudeness, she kept commenting on my mother’s dry feet, talking about it on 3 separate occasions. Mind you, my mother is in her 70’s and the purpose of our appointment was so she could feel cared for. Then she tried to leverage her shame towards my mother into selling her lotion, a rather tactless approach to upselling.Finally, the equipment itself fell short of their premium prices - When my mother asked to adjust the massage chair, her technician advised not to use most of the buttons as it would cause the chair to stop working.To comment on the quality of our nails, they do look good. However, the experience was not good and not worth the premium price. I could go to many other salons in the area and have my nails done well, save money, and skip being treated with such lack of kindness.

The Richmond Rd. store. They r remodeling but it was no problem for me as customer. Quality work. I highly recommend Katie for cuts. She has a special sense for creating. Nice environment and quiet and you have a private space in a huge establishment. Prices are reasonable. Parking is plentiful right outside the door. Receptionists are friendly and efficient. I enjoy the experience of having my hair done here.

I went in for the first time and I felt like I was hanging out with my best friend, except at the end, I got an amazing haircut. Amber says absolutely fantastic, my hair looks fabulous, and they didnt try to hard sell me any product, which I love (but my hair smells so great that I actually really want to know what she put in it!)

I waited for a few years once moving to KY from Florida to choose a salon and a stylist. Posh Salon and Spa exceeded my expectations. They were clean before the extra Covid sanitation processes went in place but now there’s no doubt they are the cleanest salon around. At first I had the salon select a stylist for me so I could start with a haircut. Hollis did an amazing job on the first cut a year ago & Ive gone back several times since. I have a lofty hair goal (being naturally VERY dark brown) and she’s been killing it so far. Maintains the integrity and health of my hair and is careful not to over process so we can get to my goal faster. Not only is Hollis amazing but I’ve seen their manager (or owner) interact with staff and you can tell he cares about the people working for him and it’s amazing to see how other stylists offer their help when between clients. Seriously the best salon experience I’ve ever had. Attached pictures of my color progression- and my hair doesn’t feel dry or brittle at all!

I was charged nearly $300 for a balayage that doesn’t come close to being that. I showed a picture to the stylist of a color style I wanted with highlights all throughout my hair and there is not one highlight in the back of my hair. I probably got a total of 10 highlights framing my face that were literally a few strands a foil. I am not happy with my hair and will not return here

I had the BEST service!! I’ve been going to posh salon for about a year now, and they’re the only people they trust. I know that no matter what stylist I get there, I am going to have great service and even better looking hair. From a haircut, to hair dye, to waxing, They do the best. They are a little higher in price, but honestly, I am paying for the security of quality that they were going to give me. My last visit there was a small hiccup when I booked my appointment and the receptionist didn’t book me for the right timeslot. I wanted a balayage which would take about two hours, and she only booked me for an all over color, which takes a significantly less amount of time. with that being said, the hairstylists were able to move things around and get me fit in anyways. My first time here today but I wont go back. The guy that trimmed my hair seemed nice but when he washed it he put some type of treatment in it that smelled like Vicks Vapor Rub. Didnt tell me what he was using until I asked after the fact. Part of what I always enjoy is getting my hair washed not my neck rubbed or something on my head I have no idea what it is. Charged $64 bucks, took all of 30 min & its a trim at best. I still gave him a good tip because thats just me but I shouldnt have. He didnt even ask me if I was happy with this pitiful result. The girls behind the desk obviously dont want to be there either which was another red flag. Pick some place else. These people dont want to be bothered.

Iris is my hairdresser and she does an amazing job! I have very dark hair and she helped me go blonde! Im having so much fun with my hair- which I never thought I would say! She makes going to the salon enjoyable and comfortable. She always does a great job and I get tons of compliments on my hair! I have really thick, long hair too which is really difficult to manage. Im always impressed and happy after I leave her chair!
