Wellness Massage Therapy

10/10 recommend. First massage here and will definitely be returning. The atmosphere is very relaxing and what im assuming is the owner is welcoming. Lisa did a fantastic job. I told her at the beginning that my main issue was my neck and after spending some time focusing on that area, I instantly felt relief. She applied “medium” pressure to the rest of my body but it was honestly just right.

The Manager, Sally, put me at ease immediately and took me with no appointment. The therapist, Lily, was excellent! I didnt even need to explain my problem areas. A true therapist can sense through her hands and Lily was awesome. This my place from now on! The prices are great too!

My husband and I came for a couples massage. At first, I’ll be honest, we were skeptical and contemplated canceling our appointment, but I am so glad we didn’t!!The atmosphere was relaxing 😌 the massage itself was ✨ amazing ✨… the woman who massaged my husband did an awesome job as he prefers a “heavy hand” and she definitely delivered. The woman who did my massage had just the right amount of pressure and was very gentle yet attentive to what I would deem my “problem areas” (shoulders and neck). The hot stones were definitely a new sensation and a nice finish.We will definitely be making this a once a month endeavor ☺️

My husband and I visited Wellness Massage Therapy after a massage that we had booked at another local business failed to keep our appointment.We were walk-ins. When we arrived we asked if they could do a couples massage and were told that they could. We were quickly taken back to a room and prepared for a massage. It did take about 10 minutes for the employees to come back to give us the massage.The woman that gave my husband a massage did a great job. Unfortunately, the woman that gave me the massage was also the receptionist and kept leaving the room throughout the massage. She left the room a total of nine times. I was extremely frustrated and even said something once. She continued to leave the room. The massage wasnt extended to make up for the nine times that she left the room. At one point she was gone for more than 5 minutes.I know that we were walk-ins, but I wish that they would have just said that they couldnt do a couples massage if they didnt have employees to do it. I would have preferred to have an hour massage rather than a massage every once in awhile over an hour period.Because she kept leaving, my massage lacked. She didnt once touch my hands or my feet. When comparing the massage I received to the massage my husband received, some of the things that he said he got I didnt.I likely wouldnt return because of this. The massage that I did get was okay but it definitely wasnt an hour and it was extremely frustrating to be left alone on the table so many times.

I had a 90 minute massage with Wendy today. I can’t say enough great things about the experience! She found all the places that are tight and have been hurting, and I left feeling 100% better. Highly recommend

Kathy has been messaging me or I should really say, “fixing my body “ for a year now. Her technique is masterful and revitalizing and I absolutely feel healthier because of her work. Price is right and service is always amazing. It’s my go to when I’m in need of messages. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Called yesterday because I had been having sciatica pain for three days and as a new customer I expected to have to wait for an appointment. They immediately said they could accommodate me at 5:00 the same day I called for a 90 minute massage. I ended up arriving an hour early and they again accommodated me and took me straight back and began the massage right away. Best money I’ve ever spent! Such a thorough massage and she was so attentive and caring about my pain. She adjusted her way through the massage according to my limitations in movement and I greatly appreciate her kindness. Such a great help to me!!

UPDATE: My go to spa for relaxing massage. Always top notch service and hospitality. Celebrated my birthday there and massage was perfect gift to myself. They know my target areas and always leave feeling better than I walked inHave been a few times. Always greeted with a smile by Miss Sally. Place is always clean. I opt for the deep tissue, and they can get down in there and work them knots out. Jackie and Cici do amazing jobs. I highly recommend.

I give it a 3 due to inconsistency. I went 2 weeks ago for a 1 hour massage. I also asked for a table shower. The massage was GREAT. Dont remember which lady it was, but she did a great job with just the right amount of time and pressure on each area. She did however, not do my feet. Ok, oh well no big deal. Each massage is advertised at hot stones included, which I did not get. At the end of the hour she said That was one hour, have a good day. I thought what about the table shower? Did not pay for so no big deal.I went back today to take advantage of the 4 hands massage, to see what it would be like. It was advertised on the web site that a table shower was free with a 4 hand massage or a 2 hour massage. Lucy and Cocoa did a great job. Cocoa had just the right amount of pressure while Lucy was a bit strong, but I needed that in places. The two ladies focused 45 minutes on my back and the backs of my legs and only 15 on my feet and chest. (I did get the hot stones this time.) At the end, I was told that was 1 hour and they both walked out. (What about what was advertised?)Debating if I will be back or not.

First visit Nov 2023Amazing. I loved every second of my 90 minute massage with Cindy. Ms Sally greeted me and is very nice. She even helped me to and from my car due to my knee injury. Thank you for teaching me more Mandarin Chinese phrases and words. Do yourself a favor and get a massage here. Affordable, clean, and tranquil place.Update Second Visit Feb 2024Had a massage earlier this week and it was not with Cindy. It was someone new. If you do have a massage please go with Cindy, she is the best in my opinion.So I was greeted and brought to the room and got there 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment at 3. I waited for roughly 10 minutes after the start of the massage. The massage was okay, despite asking for harder pressure. I politely said thank you to the massage therapist and by my own account I did tip because the massage help me relieve a little bit of tension. Not so much in my hips as I had hoped but it was what is was at that point.What made me lower my review was when I tried to pay for my services in cash and I was not provided any receipt. That’s a $70.00 massage for 1 hour and I didn’t receive a receipt. I asked again and the massage therapist said we don’t do receipts for cash. Then I asked about there rewards program where you get a certain number of massages-on a card displayed the front desk might I add- and the you get a massage free. then they told me they don’t do that anymore. I questioned so why is it advertised then?They didn’t give me a clear answer. All I know is that my first time I was there, Ms Susan-I believe that’s her name- greeted me and help me get acquainted with the massage center.I am not angry. I am just disappointed from my first visit which was five stars compared to my second visit which is two stars.I am not sure I will return. I think management needs to have a talk with the new massage therapists. Cindy greeted me professionally on each of my visit and I wish I had her with my second visit compared to the massage therapist I had earlier this week.

Upon entering a few minutes early to my appointment, the owner immediately laughed then asked if I could come back four hours later or the next day. I informed her I drove 40 minutes to get here and no I could not. The owner then giggled again and said she would give me 30 minutes free. No thank you. Also, is very odd that they whisper to bring cash only.Note: I arrived early to my appointment and received no advance notice of appointment conflicts.

I have had pain and my upper back and across my shoulders for a long time. The doctors wanted to do surgery on my neck. I went to wellness massage just for a girls night with my best friend. Thought it would be relaxing, but really didn’t think it would help my pain. I woke up this morning with no pain. I can’t even believe this!

I have been to this place about 5 times now and always received such amazing massage. so today i thought i would treat myself and get one. when i walked in i was met by a heavier set woman and she showed me to the room like normal. once the massage began i told her i like heavy pressure because i could tell the pressure was very light and she said ok. that was the complete opposite of what i got.That was honestly the lightest, most basic massage i have never received. i was so disappointed. Im not sure if i will be back.

Massage 10/10 but I have give them a 4 star due to customer service. The staff was extremely rude during check out. Body language was horrible. We paid and tipped 15% but that wasn’t enough. Before we could leave we were DEMANDED to leave a 20% because they “work so hard.” If you want your tips to be a specific amount maybe you should include that in your price instead of demanding someone to give you money.

This place was great! I just called them today Saturday because my back started hurting me while competing in agility. I really did not think they would have an opening but to my surprise they took me in one hour later. The massage was fantastic! The hot stones felt really good and the body scrub. I am not from this area but if I was I would definitely be visiting them all the time. I paid the massage with my card and had exact cash for tip. No complaints. Very happy I went.

This place is great! The massage therapist know how to perform massages from deep tissue to relaxation. Prices are $65 an hour which is average for Lexington. Clean environment. Decor not the best; but therapist make up for it with massage. Overlook the decoration: it is like an odd pink infusion grandma’s house look. Ignore it and try it out!!

I got the 60 min deep tissue massage and they had a special for free hot rocks. Masseuse was absolutely amazing, first massage that actually helped me. Only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because the masseuse decided to make my 60 minute massage a 90 minute massage without asking me, then changed my total at checkout. They tried to say when I called I said 90 minutes but that wasn’t true and they didn’t even ask me for my name when I called, I also confirmed when I came in with receptionist and masseuse that I was there for a 1 hour deep tissue with free hot rocks. I stood up for myself, and they did change the price back to what I booked. Bring cash and pay upfront that way they can not try to screw your over. I am very opinionated but if I hadn’t been I may have been too worried to speak up. I will definitely be back, I will just always bring cash and pay first 😊

I am a travel nurse. I have had many massages. Cindy is the best!! I had a 1 hr massage . And went back for a 90 minute massage. Cindy listens to the amount of pressure to use. Ashe works the knots out. No time was wasted on music & talk. She gave a full timed massage.I highly recommend Cindy .

Our massages were amazing and we already are planning to come back!Definitely less “conservative” (read, they will massage your butt!) but the experience was great and we really enjoyed it!

My husband and I recently visited for a couples massage. This was our first visit here, and we will definitely be back! They were sensitive to my bodys needs and worked out some knots that have been in my neck and shoulder area for years now. I feel great! One of my favorite parts was the hot stones, which were a very pleasant surprise.The staff was very friendly and complimentary. They were diligent about our safety as well - our temperature was checked as we entered and masks were worn by all. The area was well lit and the overall ambiance had a calming effect on us both. There is no doubt they went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience, and we are so grateful. We cant wait to return!

My wife and I opted for the couples massage here yesterday. The masseuses were fabulous and extremely professional. We both had the hot oil massage with the hot stone therapy. We highly recommended the service here! We will return for this indulgent experience again.

I work a desk job and had a LOT of tension through my back, neck, shoulders and arms. To make matters worse, I injured my left shoulder/neck and was having mobility issues and pain. Helen worked incredibly hard on my tension and knots. I had way more issues than I even anticipated. She did check in regarding the pressure, to make sure I wanted deep tissue to relieve the knots. Some therapists Ive seen dont have the technique or strength necessary, but Helen was really great and did an excellent job.I took a 60 minute appointment as walk-in, but chose to extend it to 90 during the massage because of how much work was needed. I really appreciated the flexibility of the therapist and I think it is one of the benefits of this location (appointments are not required and therefore times are less strict).The draping and massage techniques are different than Swedish massage, so if it is your first time going for traditional asian massage therapy, be open minded or ask for accomodations ahead of time. You are still covered appropriately despite what a few reviewers said. I am guessing it is a preference or bias toward a different massage technique for those reviewers.Communication was a little bit difficult at times, but we worked through it with smiles on our faces. There was no pressure regarding tipping. Helen did ask if I wanted to add a tip on to the card, which is a completely normal question when using older point of sales systems which may make it difficult to run a tip charge after the bill is paid.Overall it was a great experience and I appreciated being able to get a massage the morning after inuring myself. I didnt think there was much hope for being seen so quickly and I am extremely happy I went to Wellness Message Therapy. Thanks, Helen!

Great experience! The store was very clean and nicely decorated. I was a walk in. I was greeted by Ms. Sally who was very kind. She made me feel comfortable and welcome. I had many things to do this afternoon, so I opted for a quick neck and shoulder massage. The pricing is very good! Ms. Sally found all the problem spots, and addressed each one. I felt comfortable asking for my preferred comfort level. Later, I realized that much of my pain had subsided. I will be returning. I cant wait to try all of the many services they offer! I definitely recommend it!

Today, I was given the best message of my life by Helen. It was deep enough for me to feel her getting the knots out, but not so intense that I needed to tell her to stop. The atmosphere was calming, yet professional. This is where I will go from now on!!!

Called Friday around 1:30 to see if they had any availability to fit me in, which they did, so I came and Sally was able to immediately begin my massage. I haven’t had a massage in a while and have been wanting to try one in this area for a long time. I have never gotten a full hour massage but I had an annoying knot in my shoulder so it was definitely worth it! I instantly felt better after leaving and can’t wait to bring my boyfriend with me next time who also has bad shoulder and lower back pain. The rates are very reasonable and the atmosphere is calming throughout the spa. They can take card but said cash is preferred. I look forward to coming back! ( The bed is messy because I took it after the massage btw :) )

I’ve tried out a lot of the local spas and massage therapists and nothing/nobody comes close! My friend and I got the wild hare for a massage last night, called this morning and we were booked for a couple hours later. The techniques used were so different and effective and the hot stones to top it off had me floating. Can’t wait to go back!

I frequently get massages at Wellness Massage (1 per week) and have for about the past 3 months. Jasmine is amazing! I’ve been a salon/day spa owner for 15 years and the two recommendations I would make are: turn the phone on a lower setting and turn the relaxation music up so that clients do not hear foot traffic and (people coming in and out the front door) and the telephone ringing while they are getting a massage. It tends to interfere with the clients relaxation. Other than that I am totally pleased with my experience at Wellness Massage.

Fit us right in for a couples massage. Although I will make an appointment next time. If you want a good full body ,deep tissue massage this is where to go. I could understand the staff, the place was very clean and professional. Only improvement area would be some music in the rooms for relaxation. There is music in the lobby, but you cant hear it in the room. We will be back, made for a great date for my husband and I.

I hurt my back and thought I would give it a try. Very thorough massage, very relaxing. This was my first massage so I have nothing to compare it to but I cant imagine theres much more to it

They were friendly and professional, I recommend coming here if you need anxiety relief or just plain relaxation.Only tid bit with me is the mandatory $20 tip but she earned every dollar. I went here due to the google reviews. The massage was nice but the drapings were less than conservative which may be a uncomfortable a few times throughout the massage. I think this maybe a TUNAI tradition in that Ive been to a few Asian massages but it seems like it may be necessary in order to get long strokes. I tried to get comfortable but just couldnt. But overall it was professional and I would still recommend it!

Very good deep tissue massage. I recently got Sciatica. All the work was done on my lower right back and right leg. Extremely painful at first but left feeling much better. Will be going back to see if it will continue to heal.Very clean place and nice atmosphere.

Had my first massage here tonight, went for 90 minutes, and I cant begin to tell everyone how pleased I am! I was skeptical when I made my appointment. Bought a home in Chapin, and after months of moving furniture, woodworking and painting, I could barely move. My back was in one giant knot, my shoulders ached, my legs were killing me.I met, what I assume is the owner, as soon as I walked in. Theyre very Covid conscious here! Temperature was taken and alcohol sanitizer dispensed.I was brought to a room, undressed, and made myself comfortable on the bench. A young woman came in, not much English, but hopped up and began walking across my back! Honestly, I had paid, but didnt know what I was paying for, and trust me I was not disappointed in the slightest! After working out the toughest of knots, my massage began. And heres something Ive never told anyone in my life before tonight, but that girl had the softest feet!The attention to detail on my legs, buttocks, back and shoulders had me in dream land in minutes. I was kneeded like a loaf of bread with such detail and attention.I hated the 90 minutes was up so quickly, and theres a clock in the room to insure how prompt they are. We were right on the mark when she finished! The ride home was amazing! No neck pain, I could turn my neck, my shoulder felt so much better!I found out the young lady is named Jasmine. Ill be returning. Just fell absolutely incredible, some two hours afterwards!Extremely pleased!

The massage was great, however, the massage therapist kept leaving the room which I felt like I didn’t get the full time that I paid for. Also, I didn’t have the exact change so I asked for change back and the lady said “we keep that”. Forcing me to tip above the 20% I wanted to tip.
