I had a Gift Certificate I completely forgot about (over a year!) and they called me (after it had just expired) to say they would still honor it if I was able to come in this month. Went by today and received the most amazing massage from Emily Anne! Thank you so much guys! I will be back! :-)

Recently went to get a cold stone facial with Ashley. Have never had a facial in my life, totally new experience. It was amazing. Ashley explained everything and what was the benefit. Could not have felt more comfortable and relaxed. My skin felt amazing, lighter and so soft! Will definitely be back!

While on vacation me and my friend decided to get massages at Soothing Sessions. I had Faith, she was awesome! She asked me all the right questions and made sure to check in multiple times during my massage. The spa is very home like and a relaxing atmosphere, if you are in the area I highly recommend! The front desk lady was very nice and helpful, and They also do couples massages!!

This was my first massage experience, we got the full body couples massage. It was a very relaxing experience and the therapist was very helpful in discussing options and what to expect throughout the process. I did learn to get up slowly following and feeling a little off at first as well as needing to hydrate.

Nicole is amazing!!!! I have tons of knots in my upper back and sciatic pain. She helped both TREMENDOUSLY!!! I have never felt this good or had a massage with this much immediate relief.

Just came out of a 60 minute massage with Andy and it was AMAZING! Extremely skilled therapist that pays attention to focus areas and is a master at releasing stubborn knots. I walked in with pain everywhere and practically floated out lol. Can confidently say that was the best deep tissue massage Ive ever had 🙌 I cant wait for my next session!

Got a foot massage which it was really great, Mari was wonderful , she made me feel very comfortable I’ve been getting a lot of pain in my feet she recommended cupping which I loved, first time , I’ve been going to different places to see which one is best for my feet pain. I will see how I feel in a couple of days but so far this one is the best. I would like to go back and get a couples massage... Thank you Mari for what you do .

Great massage shop I visit every few months either solo or as a couple. I usually have Faith or Mary, both are kind and provide what I request. Would recommend to others and have recommended in the past.

I had an old quad injury that flared up. Sam did an amazing job of working that out! He really listened to what I needed. He made sure that the pressure he used was not too much so I didn’t get sore the next day! He’s very attentive and relatable. I will definitely come back to see him if needed.Soothing Sessions lives up to its name!

I had a great experience. Great atmosphere in the room, professional service.The only negative thing I have to say is that the two areas I requested the masseuse to focus on the most were my feet and my neck and she never massaged my feet and only did my neck for a few moments.

I sparingly get massages, sometimes a feel good massage, but mostly I’ve gotten massages here for shoulder, back, or sciatica issues. I highly recommend soothing sessions for their professionalism and quality. You would enjoy them as well. Try them out. I don’t have particular person, because everyone has their own value. Just tell them what you are looking for and to put you with the right person. I hope this helps.

I’ve been coming to Soothing Sessions for years and I can’t say enough great things about their service. Very professional and truly soothing. They’ve relieved issues I didn’t event know were causing pain until they relieved them through their outstanding massages. Highly recommend.

I have been a client for 10 years or so. I would go when my back was killing me for relief, which was a couple times a year. Now I go every month and I avoid the back pain and I feel less stress problems. Im a firm believer that their cupping techniques has resolved my tennis elbow problems from all the computer work I do. I had carpal tunnel surgery on one hand and when the other hand acts up, their cupping massage relieves the pain. My regular massages have improved my quality of life. I have had massages at other places, but Soothing Sessions has been consistent with providing top quality massages. Their professionalism is worth bragging about. If my mom or my kids wanted a massage, I would send them there. They are the best!!!

She tailored the massage directly to what I needed. Also, I felt like the prices were very reasonable. Called and made an appointment the day of for an 90 min massage, even though they closed before my time would be up they made time for me. Sharon Dewerdt gave an amazing massage! She really cared and I didnt feel like she was just going through the motions of getting something done. I loved the relaxing environment. I dont get massages to often but when I do I always enjoy it and get so relaxed I usually fall asleep for a few. This was honestly least favorite massage Ive received in a professional place. It was gentle rubbing and didnt get any knots I had on my back out. All the other places I went had the table warm, this one wasnt. She didnt even wear shoes, not professional especially it being my first visit. I wont be returning.Edit after the owner replied. She didnt introduce herself nor ask if thr pressure was good.

Very clean and nice ambiance. Reasonable pricing and very good Massage therapists. Extended hours to accommodate those that work during the day. I had Faith today and she did a wonderful job. Left feeling better and very relaxed.

This was such a great experience! My husband and I opted for the couples massage. It was a clean, soothing, and totally professional experience. Both our therapists were skilled and excellent at reducing us to very happy jelly. We will definitely come here again!!

I had never visited Soothing Sessions before and will never go anywhere else in Lexington. I was in a lot of pain because my back was really tight. Sharon was my therapist and was amazing. I described my issue and from the first touch, she hit all of the problem areas. I was so happy with my massage that I signed my husband up for a massage next week!

Just had my first massage with Soothing Sessions today. From the moment you walk in you feel the warm positive atmosphere. Emily was amazing and did a wonderful job. So calming, peaceful and relaxing! I took my adult daughter with me for a couples massage and Mary was her therapist. I happened to open my eyes at one point and noticed her working on my daughter. It was beautiful seeing the emotion that she puts in her work. Soothing Sessions is one of the best experiences we both have had in a very long time. I would highly recommend trying them out. Spent most of last year in physical therapy for surgeries I’ve had. Never felt any relief from my constant pain until I had my first massage at Soothing Sessions. Emily, Mary and Sam are awesome!

First time coming here and will definitely be back! Staff was very friendly, and Mary (massage therapist) was very personable and did a great job with my deep tissue massage. The price is also very competitive for what you get. I received a 60 min full body deep tissue massage with cupping treatment for much less than a lot of other places in the area. 10/10 would recommend and thank yall for what you do!

My massage was amazing but everyone was so kind. Its smaller and not a big corporate place which made it feel more intimate and family like which I prefer. Im definitely going back and trying all the therapists. We had a couples massage and we were able to relax and the therapists helped us each with our needs.

I got a couples massage with my boyfriend for his birthday. It was our first professional massage so we were a little nervous and didn’t know what to expect. But everything was perfect!!! We just got a full body relaxing massage and it was just that...relaxing!! The environment was perfect and the massage therapists were so nice and professional. Friday-I had an excellent deep tissue massage by Sam today! My sciatic nerve has been causing me a lot of pain.Saturday morning- I woke up and my pain was very minimal. I didn’t feel like I could barely move!Thank you Sam!

This is a very clean, professional facility with a calm atmosphere. Emily is exceptional! Made an appointment in 2 weeks for another extraordinary massage immediately. 😄

My husband and I did a couples massage for his birthday this year. I had Carly and he had Emily. Both did a great job. I have plantar fasciitis and she really helped alleviate some of the pain. My husband and I both like deep tissue massage and we werent disappointed. Everyone was friendly, the building was small but very clean and organized, and they made the environment very welcoming. We will definitely return.

Scheduled a massage since I pulled a muscle in my back. I scheduled with the new therapist Sam. Upon arrival, I told him I pulled a muscle in my lower back and he advised it was my hip flexor and that he had some stretches that will help. During the massage, he did some stretches that helped tremendously. After that my back began to heal and has been better since. I’m appreciative to Sam for his knowledge and attention to the problem area since it helped relieve pain I was feeling for 1-2 weeks prior to the massage. Also, this was my 3-4th massage at Soothing Sessions and each time I’ve had a different massage therapist and each massage was amazing. I recommend Soothing Sessions to everyone now.

Such a welcoming and personal place! I loved that it wasn’t like some of the corporate chains with all the upsells. The environment is as very clean and each therapist wore a mask.Faith did a fantastic job focusing on the target areas I identified and the pressure was perfect.10/10 recommended and I certainly will be back.

I recently visited Soothing Sessions Massage and was so happy with my results. Carly did my massage and it felt great! Im having some problems with my neck and Dr. Touchett recommended I go there in between visits to him and I was so pleased! Thankful that my neck is feeling better today. My boyfriend and I had a couples massage and it was absolutely amazing! Both therapists asked our concerned areas/& sensitive areas before the massage. Relaxing music and very dimmed lighting it was a nice vibe. I had Shannon for my therapist and my boyfriend had Lisa. Shannon did some cupping around my left knee because I have pes anserine bursitis and it felt pretty good afterwards. Both ladies were totally sweet! My husband and I came in for a couples massage, first time getting a massage for either of us. I had Bev and my husband had Mari during our session. Bev listened to all of my concerns and was attentive to the things I told her. The atmosphere was calming as soon as you walk in and everyone is welcoming and friendly. The room was set up nicely and it definitely lets you relax. I liked that both therapists speak softly while your session is going on and only when needed. I had a massage scheduled for 12:30 on a Saturday, and on the morning of, my son woke up with fever. I attempted to call to cancel at 8:30, but they did not open until 10. Admittedly, by that time, my appointment had left my mind, so when they called me at 12:30 I was apologetic for missing and explained that I was caring for a sick baby. I stated I did understand their procedure, but if they could avoid charging me (or at least not the full amount), Id be grateful. It wasnt as if it was my first visit - I was a repeat customer. Charging me the full amount to pay their therapist seems excessive. This is essentially having me choose between being a parent and going into quarantine or irresponsibly coming to my appointment to get my moneys worth. This is also saying with confidence that this facility wouldve been able to fill my spot in the hour and a half between opening and my appointment...while possible, it is unlikely in my opinion. Very disappointed in the customer service and will not be returning.

My experience with Soothing Sessions was great. The atmosphere was very calming and clean. My therapist (Bev) was wonderful! She asked about my problems, then she explained the technique that was going to be used with my massage. Look forward to returning.

Emily was amazing! I’ve never had anything more than a 60 minute massage so I was a little sceptical of an extra 30 minutes. Let me tell ya....best 90 minutes of my life!! If you like a good, deep tissue massage, she’s your girl!! And something I e never had before....She massaged my face!! My entire face!!! I’ll definitely be back...most likely next week!

I booked a massage at Soothing Sessions because I strained a muscle at the gym and my regular place was booked. What a happy accident. The therapist listened to my concerns and addressed those concerns expertly. I left with much better range of motion and less tension. It was healing. I will be back.Also, the complimentary hair-tie was a nice touch :)

I was referred here by my chiropractor Judd at palmetto Chiropractic and I had Emily for a deep tissue massage to realign my hip which was causing knee issues. She did an amazing job and also did cupping which helped tremendously. I would return here in a heartbeat. Great service!

Mari is amazing. I had sever shoulder and neck pain. It had locked up to where I could not turn my head. I was scheduled for surgery the next morning. I was able to call in the am and get an appointment that afternoon. When I left I was able to turn my head and had much relief. I have been back to see her since. She is great!

This is not the usual type of location I would prefer for a massage (I enjoy more of a salon type aimed at a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere), but Andrea gave one of the best massages I have ever experienced! She listens to every concern and need. Paying attention to detail as well as understanding when one desires distraction with discussion or simple quiet is truly the gift she has! Returning to her as often as possible!

Just had a massage with Sam and I highly recommend him. He listened to what my trouble spots were, used the perfect amount of pressure and I felt amazing when I left, with trouble spots feeling much better! I’ll see him regularly for sure!

I hadnt had a massage in forever and was having a lot of pain in my neck and upper shoulders. Mari at Soothing Sessions listened and was able to zoom in on the exact tender areas in my neck and upper shoulders plus where those all connected to other problem areas in my lower back. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful and it is a very comfortable environment.

I have never had a bad experience or massage here. Reasonably priced and great service. Always give you your full massage time unlike other places that Typically gyp you of 10+ minutes

So my wife and I scheduled our first ever couples massage, and we were told to let them know she is pregnant due to prenatal being different. We scheduled a day on our Christmas break and gave them our card number. Now on the day we show up they only booked for one of us. It is not easy for us to schedule things like this so now we have wasted a large part of the day. Thanks for ruining our Christmas present to ourselves.

Great 1st message ever! Professional, relaxing and clean. Very nice lady at front desk and the lady that worked on me was great. She first asked me about what my problem areas were and what I wanted her to focus on alittle more, also gave me tips for lower back pain that I have often.

Emily is amazing! My back and neck are in rough shape and she got in there and broke up all my knots. I highly recommend her!

Our family highly recommends Soothing Sessions!!! I called them 2 months ago asking them if they could help our daughter in law after she was in a terrible wreck and had many injuries and they listened and had helpful suggestions, so our son took her there. They were professional, helpful, sensitive to her injuries and helped with some of the pain that she has been in. She will be continuing with this kind of therapy for as long as it takes her to heal. Can I just tell you that Bev is THE BEST!!! Had a 1 1/2 hour massage, and two days later I felt AMAZING!! I consider myself a seasoned veteran when it comes to massages and have been receiving deep tissue bodywork for over 10 years. When I moved to town, I was looking for a new therapist and a friend referred me to Soothing Sessions. I have to say that all of the therapists here are outstanding at what they do and they really spend time focusing on your trouble areas and working out the kinks. They also do cupping which is a bonus. If you are looking for a no frills and get to the point kind of place, then I highly recommend Soothing Sessions for your bodywork needs!

We were visiting from Maryland and I had a bad fibromyalgia flare prior to coming. It caused me to really get knotted up and I was miserable. Carly did a fantastic job working them out! She used the cupping therapy on me and my pain went from a 6 to a 0 by the end of the session. Everyone there was so friendly, giving us a list of good places to visit in the area! Ive had massages many times and its rare that you may find one that outdoes previous ones. However the massage I had from Shallon was one that I can say out done many previous massages! Im going back again, this massage was GREAT all 90 minutes!

I chose to get a prenatal massage her at about 29 weeks due to some back pain I had been having in my mid back. When I walked in an older woman was at the front desk and asked me how I heard of them. When I started to answer and explain google, she literally no exaggeration, SHHHed me so loudly in my mid conversation response. So i asked if they just shh everyone and she said I had a hard time getting used to it when I first started working here. I am a paying client not an employee, there is a very big difference. Now, the massage. I am VERY PREGNANT, they had me lay face down with pillows to prop my belly and chest and only massaged my back and neck nothing else. Also, at the end they had me lay flat on my back, which I didnt think pregnant people were supposed to do and after doing some research you are not supposed to. The sheets on bed were cold instead of warm and super thin, basically see-through as well. I truthfully will never go back and dont understand how they have such a high google rating :( The only thing I can say is that my masseuse was very sweet but chatted throughout my massage.

Ive had two massages with 2 different therapists - both very good in their own technique, and Im getting a massage with Emily next Tuesday because she specializes in myofascial trigger points :) cant wait!

I have been seeing Bev since 2010 when diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I was followed by other professionals including a pain clinic but discovered Bev at Soothing Sessions who began work on my trigger points with cupping massage and finally I got some pain relief! Over the years, she provides soothing massages and trigger point release as necessary. She is very knowledgeable and shares it and her expertise with her staff and patients. Great place for relaxing or medical massages!!

Walked in very sore and unable to stand up straight due to previous surgical procedure, walked out standing, walking and feeling so much better! Bev was so gentle! I booked my next visit before leaving. I Highly recommend if youre needing post-op surgical massages!

Friendly and courteous on arrival. Shallon was thorough in checking my medical history (I have a bad back, among other issues) and used just the right pressure in the right places. Had to pour me into the truck to drive home :-) LOL. Highly recommend this place if youre looking for massage for therapy or just for relaxation.

Very professional, talented group of ladies. My stress level went from 8 to 0 afterwards. I wouldnt recommend any other for swedish, deep tissue, cupping. What I enjoy is that they specialize in combining different techniques according to your needs.

I went here about a year ago when I hurt my neck on duty at the fire department. I couldnt even move my neck hardly and after one 30min session here I got movement back in my neck and most of the pain was gone. It was well worth the money and if I ever hurt anything else Id do it all over again.

In town to visit my mom and really needed a massage. The space is definately soothing - as advertised, and my therapist Shatoya was knowledgeable and talented. Recommended!
