I love going to my monthly massage with Barbara as she gives great massages. I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The spa environment is also quiet which is important. I have recommended Koa House to other friends and family members and they have equally impressed with the services here.

Koa is a gem that everyone should know about! I cant recommend the spa or Barbara (owner) enough. A friend of mine recommended her to our group of girlfriends and now all 5 of us have been and 3 of the husbands have been as well. When I wanted to surprise a friend with a massage for her birthday I knew exactly who to go to. Barbara makes it easy to schedule, she is so welcoming and the spa itself is so clean, comfortable and feels like a little island oasis. The massage itself was exactly what I needed. Relaxing but enough pressure to help with the tension. Ill be going back and Ill continue to recommend her to friends and family. BONUS - she does pre and post natal massage too so if you know any mamas out there in need of some relaxation head Koas way!

I had my first facial with Angie and it was AMAZING! The products she used on my face smelled like Heaven and the Hawaiian spa music reminded me of me and my husbands honeymoon in Maui. The treatment was SO relaxing and freed me from my worries for a whole hour. If you want to escape to Hawaii for a very reasonable price, then book your spa treatment with Angie today! She is very experienced, friendly and professional. Youll literally feel like youre lying on a Hawaiian beach soaking up the sun and smelling the tropical fragrances. I cant wait for my next facial!:)

I have had many massages and Barbara is by far the best. I have been going to her for years and each massage is different. She incorporates swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone massage that hits all the right places. I love the Hawaiian special touches. Its a clean, safe, quiet location. I always feel pampered. They also sell products and have classes in tai chi, kick boxing, etc.

Barbara is a phenomenal therapist! Everything about this experience was awesome from the carefully crafted organic products to the amazing attention to details, this was one of the best massages I have ever had. My skin is so moisturized and loved! Authentic Hawaiian style in the heart of the suburb! Definitely worth the drive from Fort Collins, I will be back. Mahalo 💓

I cannot say enough great places about Koa House and Barbara Ramos, the massage therapist there. After hundreds of massages from many different therapists throughout my life, I can easily say that Barbara is hands down my favorite. For the last 20 years, I have suffered from a progressive disease which leaves me in daily pain. Part of my therapy for relieving some of this pain is massages. In the last 20 years I cannot count the number of massages I have received and the thousands of dollars I have spent on many sub-par massages. I was so thrilled to find Barbara. My family is from Hawaii and to find someone in Colorado who offers Lomi Lomi massage has been such a treat. Barbara creates a relaxing atmosphere that this busy mom of 3 appreciates more than she knows. She has a beautiful voice as she opens with a traditional chant, and uses a combination of hand and hot stone massage techniques throughout. The mango foot treatment is another perk! Barbara is so in tune with which muscles need attention, listens carefully to my complicated medical history, and communicates throughout the massage as needed to adjust pressure and location. She has been such a blessing to me in relieving pain. I recommend her to everyone and hope you will give her a try!

Barbara is an amazing masseuse. I enjoyed a Lomi Lomi massage from her during my pregnancy. It was the best combination of relaxing and getting some good muscle release.Regardless of whether you’re pregnant or not I highly recommend working with Barbara at Koa House. She’s highly knowledgeable and a joy to work with.I’ll definitely be going back to see her again.

Its always a treat to find a little bit of Hawaii in Colorado. I had my first lomi lomi massage and it was fantastic from the soothing tropical scents to the calming music, of the islands to the pre massage chant. I left so relaxed and I think Barbara loosened up some old shoulder tension Id been carrying around for a while. While we had a rare scheduling mix up, Barbara went ABOVE and BEYOND in finding a time that worked for me.  She took amazing care of me and even gifted me with a big beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mothers Day. It was such a special treat being pampered there. Its a sweet little oasis from the busyness of life, Its quiet, clean, professional, with lots of little sweet touches and details around the spa. I highly recommend treating yourself to the Koa House!

I visited Koa House for the first time this past weekend. Prior to my lomi lomi massage appointment, Barbara was very warm and communicative. She provided updates by text about how Covid impacted my appointment that was previously scheduled and informed me of the protocols once massage services were again permitted.Upon arrival, the experience was no less impressive. The space is fresh, clean and soothing. She offers great add-ons to her massage services, but doesn’t pressure the customer to purchase anything additional. The lomi lomi massage was very nice (just enough pressure) and I used a disposable face guard she offered, rather than my homemade fabric mask, to comply with the health and safety protocols. It wasn’t as bad as I expected. I was glad I could actually relax during my massage under the circumstances. The hot rocks she used felt fantastic after driving cross country 22 hours one-way to visit family recently. After my 60-minute session, I felt light and refreshed. I look forward to my next visit and recommend Koa House.Tabby

Now that Ive had a Hawaiian massage, I dont think I could go back to a traditional massage!!! Aliya was amazing and really worked on the areas I needed. There is a personal/spiritual element that really makes it special and you leave smelling sooooo good! The inside is really pretty and you forget youre in Colorado. I would definitely try it out if youve never had a Hawaiian massage.

I have trained with both Brent and Barbara for about 4 years at their previous school in San Francisco and am super excited to start training with both of them now at Koa House! When I had first walked through the door at 108, I was unable to even do a single pushup. But no one there ever told me that I couldn’t do it, quite the opposite! With their expert training, constant encouragement and patience, I was shortly able to do things I had never thought possible and was in the best shape of my life. Koa house is a temple of healing for mind, body and soul.

Koa House is THE place to go for all your wellness needs. Ive both received and learned about Lomi Lomi massage from Barbara and Brent, and they are the real deal.Apart from that, their approach to martial arts through Tai Chi, Muay Thai and the 108 Shaolin program is great; no nonsense, strong basics and all the instruction needed to get stronger, more agile, and get to know your own body.Cant recommend this place enough :)
