The massage I did not know that I needed. This place is awesome and reasonably priced. Ive been getting massages for a minute now and this was one of the best. Betty is awesome and will be going back to her for sure. Thank you all so much.

Better than any 5* hotel spa. May is a wizard- intuitive and thorough. Seriously no words for how out of this world massages here are. The therapists are so attuned and caring - coming here is the best thing you could do for your body and spirit !

Had a 60 min massage here - it was only $65 before tip which is unbelievably cheap, so I figured it was worth trying out, but it unfortunately very much felt like a cheap massage :(The front desk lady and my massage therapist were both very nice. The facility has no frills, but I didnt really mind it. What I did mind was that the massage itself felt a bit lazy and not super pleasant - lots of digging and rubbing with the elbows and forearms and very little work with her hands (which was the only part that felt good!) I felt that my massage therapist was doing a LOT of repetitive motions in places that absolutely didnt need to be massaged (like the side of my calf and the side of my arm? its so bony in those areas that it just started to hurt after the first time, but she focused on those areas for DOZENS of strokes...) and I honestly felt like they were just being focused on because they were easy to reach.This is probably a decent enough joint for some people for the price, but personally Id happily pay $30-50 more for a better, more relaxing, and more thoughtful/skillful massage. Wont be coming back anytime soon.

I love places like this- hidden gems. I have been here a couple of times and after today’s heavenly massage I decided I have to write an honest review. I got a deep tissue massage (I asked for no Thai massage) and I received one of the BEST massages (if not the best) of my life. May was my masseuse and if you are lucky enough to get her as your masseuse, you’ll know exactly why I’m writing this review. I will be a regular customer of May’s from now on. Thank you, May!!! If May is not available, the other masseuses are excellent as well.There is street parking and shouldn’t be too hard to find a spot!

This is a no frills massage parlor. If you’re looking for an affordable and enjoyable massage, this is your place.I usually have a massage once a month and will definitely be back. I did the 60 minute mix massage (Swedish & Thai) and loved every minute of it. You can ask to focus on a specific area or adjust the massage pressure.Street parking was easy to find on Wilshire on a Tuesday afternoon.

The location is located in heavy traffic in Wilshire and only meter parking around the area.Everything was okay with the rate and customer service. The Thai massage is nothing stand out in my opinion.

I found about this spot from a friend. I must say that she wasnt kidding when she said you get an amazing massage at such a reasonable price. My therapist Jeanny was the best. Just the right amount pressure to help release the tension in my back and shoulders. I will be returning

Seriously THE BEST deep tissue massage I’ve ever had, and I’ve had MANY. Jeanny was my masseuse - she is absolutely amazing. I got a 2hr massage for $135 which is I think is an incredible deal - almost to the point where I didn’t imagine the massage would be that great - I just had so much tension and stress built up I thought that anything would have sufficed. But this blew me away, I will definitely be back on a biweekly basis and request Jeanny every single time. The only day she doesn’t work is Thursday. Shes also just a really nice human :)

Got a deep tissue massage and it was good. Not the best but not bad at all. The walls don’t go all the way up so you can hear everything that goes on next door, including every cell ringtone & every convo.

I get a decent amount of massages (1-2x month) and can confidently say that this was one of the best. I did 90 minutes with Tony and will definitely be coming back. He had a great technique of firm holding and pressure and stretching.The outside and interior are fairly unassuming, so don’t expect a lavish spa. However, I came for a solid massage and that’s exactly what I received. Make sure you tip well - it’s deserved for the price point.

Natalie and Jeannie do amazing deep tissue work. I’m always partial to the Thai which Natalie was excellent for. She is half my size but took care of business. I was referred to Jeannie by a friend who referred me to abbot massage in Venice and was very happy even though she didn’t do much thai as I usually get. She just does good straight deep tissue. As a working massage therapist, I’m so appreciative of such high talent. I went online to buy their gift card package deal to lock in a better deal.Also receptionist told me they’ve been in business 15+ years under same ownership. I see why!

I sent my brother for a massage 60 min cost 60$.At the end of the massage the recipient asked him to leave between 20-25$ tip.He called me since he doesn’t understand English well, and she asked me to tell him to leave this amount of tip.Of course I told him not to listen to her but this is so rude to ask 40% of tip from the price of the massage.The massage itself was ok not more then that.If you go there be aware of that.

From setting up an appointment to the actual in person experience has been amazing. The front desk receptionist/owner walked me through the process and set me up with someone to fit my massage needs.The place is very clean and tidy, the masseuses are professional and asked questions before, during and after the massage to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying the massage.For the quality, the price is pretty much a steal. Highly recommended!

(They have a discount day/time...inquire with business for details!)The gentleman at the front desk is fantastic- genuinely helpful , with a happy demeanor that cant help but affect you positively.My masseuse was professional & thorough. The massage table was clean, the products used were top-notch, and I absolutely loved (&I appreciated) what was done for me there!Easy to find parking.

Used to drive 25 minutes to come here. Now live around the corner. Everyone here is great-- but Betty and Paula are especially talented. Great price. Worth more than youre paying.

I found my new favorite massage place!! I called and spoke to Mark who was so nice and helpful on the phone and in person. My deep tissue massage was with Paula who is my new favorite massage therapist! And Ive had a lot of massages over the years. She is so strong and walked on my back etc. In the end she cracked my back which was incredible as something had been out of place and bothering me and she got it! The products she used were amazing... some sort of menthol oil or cream which helped tremendously. I left a different person and feel fantastic the next day. I recommended her to a friend at the gym today who was having hip pain. And as everyone mentions here, prices are fabulous! Just be sure to tip well.

Betty was amazing!Great deep tissue massage!Highly recommend the 90 min.The only reason 4 not 5 stars is that when I was paying and was going to add a $21 tip, the guy at the desk said she usually gets $25. Thought that to be very unprofessional to put me on the spot. $21 was already 26.5%.

They had a $45 an hour special that had just ended but they extended it for me and my friend which was very nice. The walls are thin and the walls dont connect to the ceiling so you can hear people groaning or talking in the other rooms but other than that it was an enjoyable experience. We did not leave there feeling like we had gotten a massage so it did not have the lasting euphoric feeling we would have liked.

I walked in for the first time last week, no appointment needed! This place is very clean, quiet, and professional. Staff is very polite and skillful. The price is GREAT compared to other shiatsu massages in the area. I would totally be going again next month and recommend this place to anyone. Its a hidden gem.

Came here for the first time today and was very impressed. I have had shoulder and neck pain for the past week or so and my girl worked her magic! This is the first day I have been pain free. I will definitely be back again soon. Plus the price for the massage is very affordable!

Walked in the other day and I was extremely pleased with my service. Timmy gave me a massage, Which was absolutely amazing! I went in tired and hurt, and came out Feeling like a totally different person. Its definitely one of the best massages Ive ever gotten. Ill definitely be coming here at least once a month.

The place looks sketchy from outside but it’s honestly the best (and clean!) massage place in Los Angeles.The prices are extremely reasonable for Los Angeles $52 for an hour + $15-20 tip.I see a lot of people saying how massage was amazing yet are leaving 4 star reviews, honestly shame. Yes the place doesn’t have new decor but it’s very clean which is paramount. If you want beautiful modern decor feel free to pay at least twice at other spas.Ask for May, she is hands down the best. Katie would be my second choice.

Had back surgery in January 2015, and went today to Wilshire Massage for the first time in months, and feel great. I cant wait until my next visit, will want to go at least once a week. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the rooms are decorated in a way that makes you feel like your on vacation. Everyone is so nice, and makes me feel like Im special.

I think this place offers fantastic services, if you like a strong massage they will walk on your back! My wife likes a gentler approach and she enjoys their technique a lot. The rooms are small and comfortable and the staff are really polite and friendly. I think it’s good value for money as well.

Ive had a couple Frye flats re-soled here with a rubber sole (way more durable) and have been very happy with the service. Knocking off one star because the pricing has been inconsistent and I just wish they would clearly post their prices. But will continue to bring all of my shoe business here.

That review below from Good E is bogus. I was religiously going to this place, the staff there is impeccable with customer service! From the spa, lobby and front desk! The management team always addresses any issues that come up, with professionalism and %110 customer service. The spa is very well maintained by the spa attendants, and they work hard in there to keep it clean and well stocked. Very courteous and friendly too. I know first hand that the General Manager would not allow for any funny business to take place in there either. Keep up the great work there staff of Wilshire Massage!

Place was awesome. I went Saturday afternoon and the guy who answered the phone and who sat at the front was absolutely sweet. The massage therapist bended the hell out of me and really tried to work with my sore tissue. Thanks!! $45 for 1 hr due to fathers day weekend.

For some reason she did not get my right back/neck basically at all even though she spent a lot of time on my left back/neck. I would have said something but earlier she had lectured me about how she does things step by step and was annoyed when I would ask her about specific spots. My right side is still in a ton of pain, and considering that I got 90 minutes thats pretty annoying. Furthermore, the main reason I came in was to treat my neck/shoulder pain which I told her, yet she focused most of her time on my legs. I understand they are all connected, but still this was too much time to spend on my legs compared to how little she spent on my neck/back. This is the next day and I have basically no pain reduction, I know how I should feel after having a good massage and this is definitely not itAlso, please stop using styrofoam cups, theyre bad for the environment and paper cups are super cheap.Also, an expected $20 tip on a $75 massage is quite high, and is almost like hidden feesThe owner is very nice though

Ive been massaging for 25 years and Im very picky with whom I allowed to touch my body. this place has 8 massage therapist and I have tried them all. Every one of the massage therapist will listen to your needs and adjust the pressure as they are massaging you. So, do not walk take a flight and get to this place as soon as possible and be welcomed with such warm Energy that you will feel like you have found your home!!!

I have been going to this place for over 10 yrs. All I can say is today the owner Mark ripped me off by charging me 40 percent tip and he said its because of the deep tissue service. I asked the therapist in her native tongue if she knows about this and she said she only gets 5 bucks each time. Wow! My massage was 50 bucks and I placed $10 cash in the tip envelope then he charged extra 10 on my credit card cz I ran out of cash. Its not about the money. ..its the principle and he is a lying opportunist. Beware of his poor business practice. You dont want to be a part of his exploitation. I left the place shaking my head. I gave him the money because part of me thinks he is desperate and he needed the extra 10 bucks because the place was dead.

Fantastic massages at very low prices. Private rooms. The decor is a little sparse but they do great work. Ive had a combination of swedish and Thai massage work done. I highly recommend them.

I went in for the first time explaining the pain I was in and asking questions. I was asked to lower my voice and I did. I told the man at the front desk that I wanted two hours and he told me they were only giving 1 hour massages so i then said as long as my neck feels better afterward the man then began lecturing me on his opinion of me simply trying to get answers. I then said to him Ok I get the point he then asked me to leave. Obviously this guy isnt very good at customer service. This is the first time Ive ever come here and its certainly the last and I never even got served what a shame. Ill go somewhere else where my business is appreciated

I didnt mind the shabby exterior that makes it look like a massage place that serves GIs, or the bare boned, small interior rooms. It was the front desk dudes (FDDs) that grated my nerves. The first one kept emphasizing how busy they were when I made the appointment and conflated the Sports massage with the Deep Tissue one. When I got there, it was pretty much empty and a different FDD had me complete an elaborate chart. He handed it to the masseuse, but I doubt she read it as what she gave me was just their standard. I asked for deep tissue and she, an experienced hand, provided a combo of deep tissue, thai and chiropractic. It felt relaxing but not THAT relaxing. Not the best Ive had by a long shot. I paid in cash b/c it was cheaper but b/c of limited cash, I tipped less. That drew the ire of the FDD who lectured that b/c this was my first time I shouldve reviewed the gratuity rules posted on the walls of the rooms. I didnt see anything in there as it was pretty dark. He told me he knew the value of the services they provide and I shouldnt undercut them. Those eyes! He looked like he was about to do some cutting himself! I nodded and walked to my car, wondering why the place just didnt add the gratuity to the overall amount. Better yet, why pass the burden of paying your employees properly to the consumer? The employers irresponsibility and nasty customer service harmed the zen of this place. First and last time.

Called to make a reservation and the guy stressed out on the phone that he wants me come right away, anyway I show up few mins later and he still stressed and stressing me out to hurry up and get in there. I am like... Sir I came here to relax and get a message. Can I drink some water.His response is get in quickly so we can finish off quickly. Cmon follow me and this way.My response was can you please give moment and not push me.then he replied... please leave we have the right to refuse to serve and he shows me the door.I said are you serious?Super rude old guy and zero customer service.Very awkward and rude behavior from an old man. NEVER going to Wilshire massage again.

Holy F!! This place is no joke. Been alllll over looking for deep tissue massage uh...This place is all about a REAL massage. A couple times I was like is she breaking my bones?? Nope, nope thats just a deep mfn massage. Best place Ive been to in LA hands down...It could look a little nicer but you really dont care after you get your money worth and then some.

This place does not have nice Decour, nor is it relaxing since you can hear every single word someone is saying in the next room to you. The staff was nice, but I’ve had 1 million better massages at other places.
