Parking in the property is $40. Park else where. It depends on the event held there. Some rooms are small and others big. Its a big place like a maze with multiple rooms to hold events. I would only go if its something I really want to see or a good event like We Love Kandy. They throw the best indoor raves.
This is a great venue. The intricate room layout makes things fun. I love that there are bathrooms everywhere and they are pretty clean. Always a good time here
An incredible venue with lots to do and explore. I will say that the vibes are there. The circle bar was pretty chill. However, here are a few things to take into consideration when going:- Drinks here are way too expensive for no reason. They don’t have specials or well drink offers.- a long line for a purchased ticket / getting in- security isn’t the best and kindest, but to be expected- couldn’t tell where exactly were the ADA points for folks who are disabled- there are several stairs to the main concert hall but adds to the charm
STAY AWAY. DO NOT GO. I can only give a review based on my mostRecent experience. The cover at the door was supposed to be 5 before 10:30. We were there at 10:15 and they would not let anyone in. At 10:35 they allowed people in but charged 25. That alone was wrong but the worst part was the other patrons openly asking customers if they wanted “extras” in pill form(not sure if I can mention the pill names). The drinks are very watered down and when I went one of the people we went with started to not feel well towards the end of evening and within minutes after leaving became real sleepy and had a very hard time keeping awake. If you decide to go to this place be very careful and be sure you have someone to watch your drinks always.
This is mainly a review on the arcade, since I haven’t fully explored the place yet, but I commute over an hour just to play here! They have a lot of games to play, with really cool Japanese rhythm games that I LOVE. So many fun claw machines too along with your usual arcade games. So far I’ve only eaten the wings here, which were pretty good but very oily. The staff here are friendly and helpful as well.
Bouncers are actually nicer than usual. The female workers got an attitude problem. Drinks are very watered down. Wouldnt ever step inside again even if offered $1mil dollars.
I was attending a dance show. When I and my husband decided to get just two drinks, the menu mentioned that the special drink of the night was $19 and the hard seltzer was $11. My husband paid and tipped $2 and mentioned how much was the total i realized he was charged $38.62 this bar is a scam and the bartenders probably tip them selves for every transaction. It was much to late because my husband paid and I did not want to go back and talk to the bartender that would ruin my husbands night. Just watch out for the self tipping and ask about prices and double, triple look with this economy you dont deserve to get overcharged on all ready expensive boose. The dance made up for that even though they do put on a dope show
Went here for a DJ who was touring and it was first time going to a venue like this. The area that it’s located at is pretty chill & discreet. So if you need to find parking I recommend going into the neighborhoods and just walking. The on site parking is around $30/40. Plenty of seating indoor & outdoor. Bathrooms are small af but cleann.I’ll definitely come back to this venue again for future events. My only thing is that drinks were HELLA pricey- 2 drinks came out to $55🥴 And I saw that they serve food too but I didn’t see how much the pricing would be for that.Overall a chill venue!
We came here for the art show called Pancakes and booze, and they had the best banana pancakes and had amazing artists from all over California ! This local venue , Catch one in mid city is the epicenter of fun and creative events. They have multiple rooms and bars , different floors with disco balls its a must visit site.
Online an event said it was 18+, we showed up and they said 21+ only. We put in an order for a refund on our tickets and they never sent us our money back. Place is a scam.
Had a security guard come up to me while I was dancing on stage claiming to be the general manager and said he would “kick me and my friend tf out for being mean to him”. He continued to go up to the DJ and ask if we were with him(we were) and told him he needed to control us because we were mean. I was genuinely confused because he was the one who searched us at the door and he joked around and laughed with us. When the club closed I went up to him just trying to ask him what I did wrong and what we said to him that “hurt his feelings”. He started to scream and make a scene saying that he’s never seen my friend and I before and he would never claim to be a general manager. He also continued to scream that because my friend and I were white and Hispanic, “we were gonna catch him a charge for making accusations”. He tried to embarrass us for calling him out in front of the other security for claiming to be a general manager but I simply let him know that I would be getting in touch with mitch(the owner) and said he needed to walk away before he “did something he shouldn’t”.
House Worx night is where its at! I have gone to multiple house worx nights and enjoyed each and every single one. Drinks are on the pricier side as expected at a night club. I also love how theres always different rooms and multiple events on the same night
Seriously one of the best clubs in Los Angeles, and recently, one very much on the rise. I went with my friends to Kaytranada and it was spectacular. It’s a dance bar that’s been open since like the 50s, super historical, staff were pretty funny. Had my group laughing on our way in. Great time, highly recommend!
The staff at the front door were very unfriendly, and it gets easily crowded on the dance floor. The music was repetitive and very loud. It became tiresome and left our hearing bad. Additionally, the surrounding area felt unsafe, as we witnessed some shady stuff going on, and witnessed an individual scamming people by snatching their IDs and money. Definitely never going back their or recommending this place to anyone.
The event I went to was in the back part of Catch One in the smaller venue, and was very intimate but had lovely ambience. It was a bit hot downstairs, but you can go upstairs and feel the air conditioning and stand on the little balcony for a second. Doesn’t feel too cramped considering it was a small space!!
Did RSVP for an event and said free before 11 PM . Got to the front of the line and the lady said we sold out of those tickets so everyone is paying 20. We were in line since 9:30 so no way they “sold out” of RSVP tickets . Music was trash and the inside look like that Willy Wonka experience everyone keeps posting about . Spend your money somewhere else don’t be fooled by their “Free event before a certain time” trick .
So came here to see #belphegor live for the first time, also first time coming to this venue and the experience was amazing they have a.c. as Wi-Fi alcohols beverages arent to over price restrooms are maintain well the stage set up isnt to bad you can see bands really up close love the sound quality and shirts werent to over price. Now for the cons, to many stairs going up and down lol especially for the smoking pation and they should let us smoke vapes inside the floor but hey thats just my option. Over all Im defiantly coming back.
It was fun until I couldn’t breathe very well from all the chemicals from the smoke machines and they wouldn’t let me go anywhere that there was fresh air. I’ve been there several times for different events, and always had a great time, and never really had a problem breathing. I got tickets for the Spirit Halloween event because I liked the venue and thought it would be fun. The DJ’s were decent, and was having a great time, but they just kept pumping smoke through the smoke machines and started to get really heavy with fake smoke. We went to the outdoor smoking section to try to get away from it and get some fresh air, but there were a bunch of people smoking cigarettes out there, and it was still hard to breathe. We went to the only other place where you could get fresh air, which was the front entrance, and asked if we could just go to the sidewalk (even right where they could see us) and get some fresh air. They said if we went there they couldn’t let us back in. We tried to go into the room next to the entrance, and our $30 tickets wouldn’t allow us to go in there either. We tried to go back up and dance, but we were literally getting sick from the fumes, so we had to leave. This event is a health issue. Hopefully nobody will get sick going to it, and not being allowed to go anywhere with breathable air. Definitely a Halloween money grab with 3 other events at the same venue and restricted places you can go. I’ll come here when bands I love perform, but I think I’ll pass on anything else going on here.
20$ for any drink, 40$ for parking. Typical of LA so im not too phased. The venue was a vibe, maybe not one im desperate to revisit but it was a decent time. My biggest complaint of all is the goth room downstairs was insanely loud , wayy too loud. They have L acoustics speakers which are top of the line and should sound great but since that room is small and they are blasted in the most unsensible way all you hear is screeching frequencies and the speakers themselves suffer in clarity due to this volume. It could sound much better. I like the chest thumping bass , that they can keep but the full range PAs absolutely need to be turned down a bit. I have no doubt both me and my partner suffered ear damage simply going down to that room for an hour. Our ears are still ringing. Its ridiculous. As for the security that lots of these reviews complain about I dealt with no such thing , I almost wonder if there was a change in staff since most of their security were young people. They werent outstanding in their service but they werent unpleasant by any means. One things forsure is that the mixed reviews are accurate , this place is a mixed bag deserving of 3 stars. But I wouldnt say its not worth at least a visit.
Trash venue. Avoid this place like the plague. Imagine charging people 40.00 cash or 45.00 through zelle for parking.
Went two nights in a row. Wanted to give this club a second chance, and was thoroughly let down twice. Would not recommend. DJs were… lackluster, to say the least.
Das Bunker is and has been my favorite nightclub since I stated coming here! Love how theres a big dance floor, enough room for several people to comfortably dance as they please, has the right idea about the music! Unlike others that mix it with other genres. They get INDUSTRIAL! Today celebrating Das Bunkers 21 years xD
I was here just last week, and let me tell you, their security is the absolute worst! Theyre on some ridiculous power trip. I was just standing on the street corner, minding my own business, finishing my drink, and this cranky old security guy comes over, trying to snatch my drink right out of my hand. I asked him who he thought he was and what he wanted, and he started saying I couldnt drink in the line, even though I wasnt anywhere near the line – I was next to a light pole away from the line! When I turned to cross the street away from the venue, he started yelling and pointing fingers, saying I couldnt enter the venue. He ran over to the other security folks, pointed me out as a troublemaker, and declared I wasnt allowed in. This place and their security are TRASH. You dont just walk up to people and try to grab things from their hands; you have no right to lay a finger on me or my stuff while Im on a public street. But, you know what? I got my way in the end, and thats all Im going to say. Dont waste your money here. This place and their so-called security team are nothing but weak, revolting, entitled individuals who get off on some twisted sense of authority. Pathetic doesnt even begin to describe them.
Me and my friend arrived 2 hours early to avoid lines and to get in free (free entry before 10:30). We stood in a short line no more than 30-40 people in front of us. They refused to let most in until after 10:30 forcing us to pay the ridiculous $40 tickets. The line moved so slow we waited in line until midnight and everything was chaos and security seemed to take almost 5+ minutes checking everyone in. Not only that but I had to use the restroom urgently as I had been waiting almost 5 hours in the stupid line. I was denied and had to hold my pee in and ended up getting sent to the hospital the next day with a kidney infection. Do not go here it is not worth the time and money, and security are very aggressive.
Do NOT collaborate with this club or attend. the security and staff are not cooperative towards anyone who likes to host an event there. The security also does not give phones back and they have individuals who aren’t safe running the door. When I say this is genuinely a liability and safety concern to have your event hosted here, it is. Please avoid this venue at all costs. It is not a safe place to be because when you bring up safety concerns to them they blatantly will ignore you.
Hands Down the worst customer service and the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered in my life. Made the bad decision to attend a brunch event there that was supposed to have a bottomless hour except the waitstaff ignored us for 90 minutes then told us we couldn’t get bottomless. Then to add insult to injury, someone bought me a gift. Because the gift also contained alcohol the item was taken and told it would be held by security. Well lo and behold the gifts are gone and the venue is saying that they’re not responsible. Those rude staff probably took it.
Reviews are fake. 2 hours in line. Music crazy loud. Paid then left 2 minuets later.
I honestly love the venue very much, there is tons of room and a balcony!! However the service was SO POOR. I understand that youre working with intoxicated ppl, but if you hate the job so much.. then quit?? I wasnt given a warm welcome (they literally rolled their eyes and sighed bc of a small inconvenience of me not showing my ID after they have written an X on my hand.) Were human and they have the right to be stressed, but there was so much ignorance between security and employees. If the work isnt enjoyable or AT LEAST tolerable..find a new job or pick up a hobby. Taking out your anger onto a customer is a bad look hun.
Second time going, security are the rudest I’ve ever met. They lost my item one night then made a big show of refusing me at 1:03 when doors closed at 1.First night made a big show of some line a guy couldn’t pass his drink thru.Always in the rudest most passive aggressive way.Bunch of dweebs who don’t know how to command respect without being mean about it. Edgy dorks.
Worst location Ive ever been to for a show. Worst metal or punk show you could possibly go to. Owner doesnt allow mosh pits and security will lay hands on you to remove you from show if your caught in one. By end of show more than half the crowd had walked out because everyone was fed up with bouncer. Im sure it cost the bands present a lot of money potential for merch, and cost them their crowd which is unfuriating. Dont support these people.
Went to a ska festival here. Food outside, no real lines for the various bartenders, decent amount of space, and seats along the edges of the top floor. Why 2 stars? AC was broken/not good. Top floor got FOGGY(yes foggy, as in a cloud of humidity) from all the people/sweat. Pretty disgusting. It was a huge deal in my mind, despite all the good things this venue offers
The security is the worst security i’ve ever seen. They were all on a power trip watching everyones every move. Me and my partner were literally sitting down and they shut their eyes for a bit. And security came up and said “nope no sleeping you gotta go” I told him i was fine and am alert and he let us be till we sat down in the lounge. Same thing except he kicked us out because my partner shut their eyes for another second. Then to top it off we went to the parking lot and two cars next to us were broken into. Crazy how they would rather kick people out then let them sober up so they dont have to sit on the curb in the middle of LA at midnight.
Horrible place, please do not come here. Racist old white male security kicked myself out along with another African American (who had already purchased his tickets to “dick appointment”, one of the shows, online! No refunds!). We were not drinking in the line, we finished some soda cans around the corner, and still were humiliated publicly (via flashlights and yelling from said security). Very upset with this mistreatment. Will be spending my cash and time at Trunk’s, a much more welcoming establishment.
Great experience! I’m from Bakersfield ca! Definitely will recommend & return!
Mixed feelings because the shows here are good but they way overcharge for drinks, the sound on stage isnt great (hard to hear yourself) and parking is always a matter of leaving your car two or three streets down.
Don’t pay for concert tickets. 4 hours of randos dancing. 30 min of main person standing backstage with everyone crowding him. 10 min of him dancing to his own music. Nothing but smoke and people shoving you around. I’d give 0 stars if I could
Place is a scam, charged $50 to get in and were trying to charge us another $50 to go to second floor. Drinks were ridiculously expensive and service was terrible. Security was making everyone go in circles and at some point weren’t letting us leave the building. AND no parking. If I could I would give it zero stars.
DO NOT COME HERE! Security had the WORST attitudes and were kicking out paying customers for no reason! Security was v strict randomly. While in line security assumed that my bf and I were under the influence and “pregamed” too hard when we showed 0 signs of that at all. We spent a 45min uber and wasted our money to not be let in. I was very calm at first and spoke to everyone politely and then when I spoke w the higher up manager about the issue they started mocking me behind the managers back making crying faces and laughing. Super unprofessional and a waste of everyone’s times! There was another group who did nothing wrong behind us and same thing happened to them. I dont know if they had some type of power trip going on, but this place is not friendly at all. Not 18+ friendly at all. Wasted our entire night and money. WILL NEVER COME AGAIN!
This place is alright current discrepancy is Im here for the shaggy 2 dope show Im ada I asked if the had a way for ada to sit down. They had no answer I found out there across the room so know Im chilling. But security seems kinda clueless about everything :(kinda not good especially from the prospective of someone whos spent half a life doing concrete security the food is good 👍 🍔. whoop whoop!!! 🪓🥤
We tonight for the neon party with Lil vada, we have had tickets for free entry before 11 for weeks! We arrived in line at 10pm to stand in line for a hour and 15 minutes (line not moving) for them to start moving the line and say it was now a $40 entry. This is not right and will not be going back to these venue!!
Oversold tix for the James Blake / Kaytrynada show. At least 100 people couldn’t get upstairs at either entrance where they were playing smh never comin back to this place
Security is so strict that’s it’s stupid. Was kicked out for moshing and telling me that I was doing too much when literally everyone was. This baby as pitch just got mad because I wasn’t listening to him the first time then an hour passes by then has a “I’m a big boy” moment then kicks me out. One of the worst spots to go.
The security and ticket checker people at this venue are super scammy. I got there at 10:20pm and immediately got my ID checked for a 21+ wristband. The guys checking the ID failed to mention to anyone that there was a separate 21+ line that they were letting in first. I stood in the other line for over half an hour without it moving. We had to enter by 11pm for free entry and only after 11 did the line start moving a little. Got to the ticket check person at 11:12pm and he made us pay even though I explained how their staff werent showing people the right line. Once I entered I saw it was super empty inside so the only reason they werent letting people in before was so they could get people to pay at the door. Only reason I even paid was because my friend was playing a set and we were there to see him. Decided to get a drink and they gave made our basic drinks in a small cup instead of the regular sized ones everyone else had but we still got charged the same price which was $35 pre-tip for a vodka sprite and Midori sour, insane prices for the type of venue it was. Needless to say I wont be returning to this venue ever. Definitely the worst club Ive been to ever. They just scam and it isnt worth it at all
It’s big in there, spacious so didn’t feel too crowded. Music was great in every room, loved that they had a reserve smoking section for my husband who has to have his cigarette lol like most of LA drinks are extremely over priced and not worth it. Lots of security not sure how attentive they are but they seemed good.
Nice venue, crowd different depending on the show but mostly good and friendly.
Bouncers here overly aggressive and crossing legal boundaries. It is never okay to violently lay hands on customers to make a point. I saw people being dragged out last night in neck holds whos only crime was dancing in a mosh pit. These bouncers are acting like law enforcement or that they are above the law. Im surprised this place hasnt been involved in any litigation.
It’s a popular place but the security wasn’t helpful and acted like they didn’t want us there. Bartenders were ok for being busy. Music was good.
The Door staff were some of the worst Ive encountered. Very rude and honestly aggressive to the point I saw the people behind us get in an argument and leave, hey maybe the staff were having a bad night but still my experience. If the club itself was better Id give it more stars but honestly it was just ok. Drinks were very small and subpar even for clubs and there wasnt a lot of people there anyway. Definitely are better clubs in the area if you have the choice.
Miserable. Waited in line for two hours to get to experience the venue for just 1 hour before closing. Oversold tickets, many did not even get in. Got there at 10:30 and didn’t get in until almost 1 for the venue to then close at 2.
Great venue! A lot of bars and restrooms inside the club so there are no long waits. Also, compared to other clubs in LA Ive been to, the security staff is super relaxed. Ill definitely come back.
Fun venue but frustrating you don’t get full access to all of the club, each room is sectioned off and have to pay for different ticketed events.
Dope experience!Being close up to those we grew up with in the music industry is always memorable! Catch One has a good event set up where before and after even shows you can meet some of the artists, and buy merch.
We saw Halocene, Lauren Babic and Violet Orlandi at this venue. I was excited for the event but humbled by the small size of the Jewel room compared to the large number of fans there. (The Jewel room is the room that our concert was in). None the less, we eagerly crowded in for the performance and had a good time. Acoustically the instruments seemed to drown out the artists voices which is unfortunate but they made the best of it!$6 waters is a bit pricey, $6 sodas and $12 drinks was to be expected.By contrast the short food menu is very reasonably priced $12-15 for very good and very filing food. We had the Tacos
They have several events in one night so finding which door to go to is confusing, they need more signs to let me know where tf i am. They also have several artists playing for one event some times and they make it impossible to find the schedule. I went at 9 to not risk missing out on the artist i paid for, but when i got there i found out they werent playing until 1 am. no ins and outs. you cant ask the staff anything without them making you feel stupid
The security guard at the VIP section was RUDE, and was charging people to be in the VIP section for cash under the table; I was like is he allowed to do this? If you gave him $20 cash hell let you in. Crazy how one employee basically robbed a bunch of poor concert goers trying to take good photos. Hope he gets terminated for what he did.
Was here on Friday 6/18 and I have never experienced such horrible service anywhere. Girls restroom was needing toilet since 8pm and there seemed to be nobody who could do something about it. Asked the bartenders they said they couldnt do it cause it was too busy so we should ask someone else. Asked at the entrance who can help with restocking the paper they also said I dont know what to tell you... for a venue that charges $20 per person you would think thats the least that they can take care of but no. Overall horrible experience and would strongly recommend this place get some new management that can take care of the simplest of tasks. A damn shame.
Went to Catch One for an after-party for LA Comic-Con. Thank god these tickets were free. Bartenders were awful, dead-eyed, had terrible attitudes and didnt know even the simplest drinks out there. But mostly the terrible demeanor and customer service made these bartenders bat 1000. The did not GAF. Additionally, the space looked like the local theater troupe had convinced the event coordinator there to let them decorate. And there were multiple different types of music playing from separate areas of the venue so you had five different basses going on, and overlapping music to the point where it was impossible to think straight, and the acoustics were so awful and loud that it made it impossible to talk in any manner whatsoever. The tickets were free, but oh, did we ever pay a price. Also, everything seemed strangely grimy. 0/10 would not recommend.
Confusing info on the web, I paid 50 dollars entry on a Friday for what turns out to be a afro-pop show, at 23.00 there were no more than 30 people in total all sitting and bored. Marketed as a goth club?? OK it had a dead feeling about it, but thats where any connection to goth stops.. Plus 30 dollars for parking and 10 for a beer. Scam
One of the best club I went to and had great time.
Ive been going to shows all over la for close to twenty years but this was my first experience at Catch One, which is a dance club that can also host bands. The night I was there it was at the smallest of the spaces there, very nice and clean and not grubby like i expected. The sound system was great and the general vibe was friendly.Parking is, as advertised, a nightmare. My advice is to just duck into one of the semi official lots that surround the venue and bring cash to pay 20 or more (or less.) Or spend that money on an Uber. Would def return.
I really like this place. Theyve got a fantastic three-room setup and keep local DJs rotating throughout the night. You can always find popular musicians here as well as rising artists to connect with. Drinks are strong and the staff is polite. Do they have VIP areas?
Not good! Too large, very strange vibes. DJ was not able to read a room well. Good hot dogs outside though, that guy deserves five stars
They have amazingly diverse lineups and you can pretty much always find something up your alley that they host. My reason for 2 stars is they charged $7!!! For a single water bottle without any other alternatives, no water fountain, no in and outs to get water elsewhere. I suppose you could drink out of the sink? Out of a disgusting club bathroom with overflowing sinks?
Nice Place, bit of an empty box with a bar. But well it is what it is! Its more of a nightclub than a venue. But let that not put you off! Staff were nice, bands were good, could do with a little sound treatment on those shiny walls but sound was over all pretty sweet. Big merch area around the back of the bar. I had fun, will watch bands in there again for sure!
Service with a smile and amazing friendly staff. Have a slight disability and was helped up the stairs and to a safe spot for the show. Thank you so much for an amazing first visit. Chavez the door man and Elijah and Charlie for helping me up and down the steps! You guys are the best thank you so much! Cant wait to come back
ZERO STARS. worst club experience of my life. dirty, overcrowded, speaker systems were terrible. $70 to see my fav artist Eartheater and 30 seconds into her set one of the transformers for the ENTIRE club blew causing the sound systems to stop working. ran out of water and when someone fainted bartender refused to give us free water. no refunds were offered despite none of the headliners being able to perform. i’ve never reviewed before but this experience blew my mind. NEVER AGAIN.
I recently went to the house and techno night and it was so much fun! I had too much fun and lost my keys there. Wanted to know if there is a lost and found or someone i could contact.
DON‘T GO THERE! It’s a whole scam. They let you wait in line for hours and then just tell you that the tickets cost 30$ instead of 5$! And it’s not even worth it. There are just like 20 people in an empty room and are getting bored. Worst club I‘ve ever been to.
Its not the same, the clientele has made this place less appealing but they still have some good nights.nothing Ive been to has been as fun as the Catch was on Fridays and Saturdays. Drinks are still overpriced.last weekend a bouncer got into an argument with some guy and my friend got pushed by the bouncer as he was walking by just to leave (but it was the end of the night). they need to screen their security better and I guess u cant do much about guys with bruised egos that cant handle their liquor except maybe have less parties for that kinda crowd.
10/10 would not recommend. I would leave negative stars if I could. I had the worst experience. The security guards are so disrespectful and kicked me and my 21 year old friends out cartoon style for holding a drink. The chief of security is looking for any excuse to kick anyone out. Save your time and money for a better venue. We didn’t even get to see our friend DJ.
UGHH throws good shows for hip hop but the old black tall security guard towards the parking lot near the ghost kitchen is a grumpy rude bitter weirdo ! I was talking with a lady near the entrance while everyone was inside for the performance. Nobody was outside except us 2 within 20 feet of entrance. This guy bolts straight through us in between us almost shoving us out the way. . What a moron! This isnt the first time he has hassled me about absolitely nothing. at least 3 4 times now .. guy needs a LIFE this venue doesnt need that nigative energy
Ive only been to the DEEP events here, but I really enjoyed the space. Good music, underground vibe, good people. Music goes later than most places too (4am). Plus an efficient door is always nice. Dancing > standing in line.
Bar refused to serve tap water, there was no other water no self serve water as is common at most venues. A small bottle of water was $7. Subpar and gouging.
Alcohol is way too pricey here. Das Bunker goth club nights are always packed and tend to be 10 bucks or less for entrance. Well worth the price. I will keep coming back here as long as they keep entrance fee reasonably priced.
Staff was nice and it was surprising clean drink were like 17 dollars tho for rum and coke
Went here to watch a concert in the tavern room. Didn’t think drinks would be as expensive as they were 16 dollar amf and 9 dollar beer. I accidentally dropped my expensive ass beer after an hour of being there and security told me I was done and kicked me out. Don’t come here unless you want to pay for a weird ass vibe where the security don’t understand the that an accident can happen. It’s part of having glass in a club. Not worth the money guys.
Went here to see Fearing and French Police right as things started opening back up, and the sound was so bad that two of the bands had to start their songs over repeatedly and the headliner (Fearing) actually just gave up and quit playing. Felt really bad for them and everyone there.
Fun spot! Good vibe and good music. We were upstairs and the music was like a Spanish house vibe. Drinks were small and expensive.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Went recently for Rockero Night and I had my phone stolen! This was the case for many others. Security was extremely rude and the drinks were expensive. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money.
Oh no. This is the same club that was called “das bunker” or something?? What did I do? I just bought tickets for a rave at this crappy place.I was here Maybe 10 years ago because my favorite spot in OC-the boogie-had closed down. This place was bad. You had the weirdest, poor, uneducated people here. I remember there were some neonazi wannabes here too.I hope this Saturday will be different. From reviews I read and what I’ve heard a lot sucks about this place.1) too restricted. You can’t even fart before security says something2) too expensive. Drinks and parking is at Beverly Hills prices3) incompetence staff. Bartenders who are slow and disrespectful security guys
- Very expensive for what you get- Poor sound system.- Rude security.- Vibe 👎- Parking is a pain.- Expect waiting in the bathroom because apparently its not just about taking a piss.- If you buy presale Tix for entries before 11 and you get there after (which happens because parking is a serious issue), then they charge you $15 extra, which is even more than the original full price of the ticket, basically a rip off.
The security were racist and seemed a little aggressive. Would not recommend coming here.
This place was a recommendation from a friend. I dont often venture to the City much but if Im going to do it, I want to spend my time checking out good spots. Im not looking for the glamorous places, just the nice, cool, places with good ambiance. This place definitely had it all.
Hmmm....This club gets mad points for nice bar access, cool bartenders, huge dance floor, seating alongside dancefloor and huge awesome outdoor patio w/plenty of seating.Cant say the same for the sound system. Not sure if I attended on an off night, but sound did not have the same impact toward the rear of dance area away from DJ who was spinning on stage.
Love this place. It use to be called Union but it has changed its name and nothing else. Best Disco, house, edm, trance nights. This place is known for bringing awesome music to town and celebrating what it means to dance the night away.
Good if you music selcrion is tech dub bass etc. Great!! They have many different rooms with different varieties. Ans in each room they have a bar and bathrooms everywhere!
Single-handedly the worst club in Los Angeles. Why pretend to RSVP and charge $5 online then charge $40 at the door? Absolutely zero respect for its customers. Never coming back here (oh wait, I couldnt get in in the first place!).
The place is dirty. The security staff is rude. Parking is a nightmare. And they don’t even have premium liquors. But the security staff was the worst part. Not helpful with parking, standing around chit chatting about their ladies and what they’re going to do with them after work. I’m not coming back.
Worst venue I have ever been too. The bar staff are useless and its impossible to get a drink. The sound is terrible and my ears are ringing from feedback. It is impossible to see no matter where you are. I believe the bar ruined the George Clinton show and i will never go back
The alcohol and coat check prices were way high.
Charged 13$ for 2 water bottles. The bartender was rude af. Average club which will pressure you into buying subpar drinks.
My wallet got stolen. My friends phone got stolen. Other college girls there were searching for their stolen phones as well. The bouncers did nothing to help any of us out-- they were super rude. Do not go here.
I love this venue. Everytime I come here it’s always a new experience and such a good place to throw an event. One of the most unique spots to party and spin at Fursure!
Terrible.Over priced. I will never go back here again.$21 for a casamigos. $40 just to get in. Theyre too money hungry and its not even a good vibe. Weird and empty....This is coming from a New Yorker.
YOU HAD TO BE THERE - ADIDAS PARTY - CATCH ONE - GRAMMY WEEK 2020!So, I got the invite for the Adidas party and it was actually INSANE! I was a bit skeptical about the no phones business but actually it turned out to be just fine - our phones were sealed in a pouch that we could keep with us and the fact the phones were locked really did contribute to the good vibes - so many people were dancing in the moment and chatting, me and Brit were dancing and networking, checking out the different rooms. Most of the club was dimly lit and had this super underground edgy tinge to it - quite like some of the underground events back home in London.Spent some time in the smoking area and could see how popular this event was - the queue was all the way down the road! Lucky we got there when we did, had a great time!If youre ever in LA to party, definitely check out this club, also the wifi in this place was super fast, although I couldnt use my phone inside, when I did have access to it, it worked wonders! (my experience of the use of wifi in LA wasnt that great, but if you need a wifi spot, I can guarantee you a great connection in Catch One) #TRIEDANDTESTEDIf youre enjoying my reviews please do follow me on Instagram @sammigirl__ and let me know if theres any popular places youd like me to review :)
Friend was kicked out for holding my cup???! I followed the reviews...and some of my fave djs to this place, i believed this would be a good place to bring my brother and his friend for thier 18th birthday! I feel like such a horrible person..this place sucked and security acted like they were on point when they werent! I left out of there almost freakin crying! THE NIGHT WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO GO THIS WAY AND NOTHING WAS DONE TO ACTUALLY BE TOLD TO LEAVE!
The ICP tour was great and the venues work crew provided excellent customer service.
Bought two doubles and was charged $70. That’s $17.50 a shot. Ridiculously expensive. Also, they dont allow you to move around between the rooms. The funktion ones are amazing though.
Their security are on a crazy power trip, especially the old guy. He was so rude for no reason.
During the eighties the Catch was the only club on the west coast pumping Chicago House Music and all the hot soulful funk and disco of that era. Saturday nights were the bomb...I would drive up with friends from San Diego for the weekend. Good Times.
Drinks over priced and did not taste Good! Staff are so rude. We were looking for the smoking patio, and the security told us get your asses down stairs this is a hall way we came for Tiger Heat and this place sucks big time... We left half an hour been here.
We did RSVP to get $10 entry before 10.30 but the guards made us wait at gate for no reason for 45 mints so that they can charge us more. Not sure if this is a business strategy. Later at 11.30 they told its 20 dollars for entry but charged us 30 dollars at entrance.
I am only giving it a one because I cant rate it any lower. I had absolutely a miserable time when I went there and the food is terrible. I am a big girl there is not much I dont eat so if I wont put it in my mouth it has to be seriously gross. Go anywhere but here. If hell has a reservation grab it. You will still have a better time than if you went to Catch One.
Went to LTJ Bukem. Mid range was terrible, resonating, unbearable. Really took away from the show. Venue is ok otherwise. It seemed like a short walk around the space would have been a good idea by the mixing booth guy(s). If I was Funktion One, Id be embarrassed to let their speakers be used for legend in such a poor manner. Maybe dnb should be on PK.
I am from NYC so i simply cant comprehend why clubs close down so so early in a city like Los Angeles. Its just so bizarre to me.
The drinks are bottom shelf nasty and crazy expensive. The pros are the acoustics are great, the venue is large, and the staff is nice. But those drinks.....the worst.
Went to see a show and it was way too *quiet*, probably because there was something else going on on the other floor (which I could hear) and the house was probably limiting the volume of the band I went to see.
Don’t believe any of the good reviews it’s all fake. The security will try to fight you if you ask them anything. It’s a ghetto run down club. Don’t waste your time even going there. It’s a huge waste of money. If you ask for a refund they’ll give you the biggest run around/bull you’ll ever hear.
People working here very personable. Everyone from the Doorman to the on-site manager did as much as they could to make sure I had an issue resolved. Class acts, the lot of them.
Went for a Xiu Xiu concert. Great venue, friendly staff, great performance despite minor technical difficulties in the opening acts (dont worry, it happens to the best of us). All around fantastic place
Got covid commented and got blockedTHEY DELETE COMMENTS ABOUT GETTING COVID AT THEIR CLUB. reporting themthey dont like critcism or cant take it apparently.i guess thats why the noctural guy wears a mini skirt
Great venue. 2 floors so theres 2 shows going on. Big hallways and great AC, and not to mention the sound system kicks!
Das Bunker on friday nights is what I go for. My favorite thing about it is the size and layout. Clubwise its huge. The best time to go is when they have a live performance. Its a completely different atmosphere. Less snobish.
Just bought 2 shots for $40. The atmosphere is awful. Do not come here.
6am my ass. Speak the truth. I cant believe I got there at 2:10am and everything was closed. Dont lie to your costumers cause itll hurt business. I will never even utter a word about this place. The only feedback you have is disappointment.
Always terrible. From the front door, bartenders, to the security inside. Makes it a miserable experience to come to this place every single time. Loyalty to the promoters is the only thing that brings me to this awful place.
3 dance floors means you can go with your friends with questionable taste and still have a good time. Catch you after this set = perfectly acceptable.
Came here to see the upcoming rapper gremlin, this place was great very clean and super freindly staff really enjoyed time here.
This takes me back to the late 70s and 80s. I loved going there dancing. I couldnt wait for Saturday night. Nothing but good memories and fun.
This place was ok. its a solid little joint. i wouldnt mind coming back, we actually need more of these around town. i just hope they fix that bathroom situation.
Very friendly bartenders and staff is very chill. They do need to get some better ventilation or AC for the main dance floor though as it can get sweltering in there!
This place has been bringing in some good artists lately, drinks are affordable on the scale of LA clubs, but the sound systems that are brought in leave a lot to be desired
The events here are usually fun.Nice little spot for good edm
I loved this venue so much! Great staff, great atmosphere can’t wait to return in 2021. (Hopefully)
Two Clubs in one. Best time Ive had in L.A. Rap up top and Old School down stairs. The DJs were the best Ive ever heard.
I went for the first time last night and i had a blast there.. Definitely going there for shows from now on
This was my first time at the venue and it was a terrible experience from management to the event. Wouldn’t recommend
Sounds was very loud. Like the open space in the underground but feels like a rave or cave. Could use some decor
Line to the bathroom was hellll😭
Great show! Security was a little too ready for trouble. It wasnt that kind of crowd.
This venue is pretty great. Only real complaint is lack of parking. Other than that its pretty great
If youre claustrophobic this place isnt for you. Its an awesome place it just get crowded and hot. Great events happen here
Got to support Brandy Haze ! Staff was friendly drinks were coo ! Didnt get to grab pics tho
Came for a boiler room, event was great and venue itself is fire too.
Watching the NETFLIX special on (Jewels Catch One)!! That lady is amazing and has a beautiful spirit..Much love and respect to her... 💛💙💜💚
Terrible crowd. 20 dollar cover and 40 dollar parking fee for what? A half-dead empty crowd and mediocre DJs. Go somewhere else.
Saw WESTSIDE GUNN, Conway & Benny the Butcher! Great show. Venue is okay nothing special
Great club but very pricy with $30 entrance for a dj that doesn’t know how to do his job.
Great club, bouncers are coo. The club looks way better now and great management. Went for the Curren$y it was poppin
Good little club and show was awesome saw OHGESSY. Typical little club spot staff was attentive.
I came to support friends at a recent event. I was charged 39 dollars for 1 drink. What the hell is that? Wack.
The name says it all great place. - parking and a little too crowded for my tasteNot bad
Great great great venue! First time here but definitely NOT my last!!!
Cant wait to check out the Necro show on the 26th. Hope these stars stay at 5. Woo!
Worst place ever! I am disabled and was treated really unfairly by most of the staff at this place. The security guards, front door people, and bar tenders are all really rude.
They misinformed me a out the vaccination requirements. Wasted an entire 1 hour trip going there for nothing
Its a great place to spend 8 dollars for a warm bottle of Dos Equis at an over-sold show with power outages and sound issues
This is from seeing ska, punk, and metal shows. Before you kick out kids for underaged drinking, tell your bar tender to stop selling them booze you jackasses
Security guards are supper rude . Instead of approaching you in a respectful manner , they have a really bad attitude .
The venue is great and I always forget how much I pay for drinks so I guess you could say Im pro-Union.
Cool place. DJ Refrain throws it down clean! Employees are cool and respectful ...my fav place
October 30th DJ was terrible, cover was too much for so bad DJ.
Catch One always has a welcome vibe ! Went to hear a dj friend play, Tony Largo
Cool club, but very, very hot throughout. It almost felt like the heat was on in the main room.
Got my phone stolen here. Security was not helpful and rude. Don’t recommend coming here
Pay cash for drinks here they will add more to ur bill without you knowing if u pay with a card...i suggest cash for drinks and it does get hot in here if there is too many people in here at once
Only come here if you love music too much and want to start hating it so you have time for other hobbies
Awesome after hours spot. Dope sound and great dance floor!!!!
Hardcore bands play here in Los Angeles u dont get to many venues who allow hardcore at all I Los angeles
To the staff working NYE, y’all were the best 👊🏽 great night & people
Sketchy place A lot going🫨🙄 No real safety( Be careful dont go alone
Great music, local underground DJs (Dirty Dan,,Fabian)great vibe and great people
Long unmonitored lines to the restroom. Bullies and gangsters own the restrooms. Drink at your peril!
Always have a good time here. Even when I forget to close my tab and have to come back the next day.
Hate this place, never going back! Way tooo hot inside, the place didnt look that well maintained.
This place needs some sort of ac installations lol.gets too hot in there pretty quick.
Lots of rooms. Plenty of shows. Security isnt terrible
My name is Kenneth Thomas and this is my review! My reunion is gonna take place here... Stoked!!
Dont drink , dont move , dont breath
Cool venue... plenty of space. Great music.
Really awesome venue, highly recommend checking it out!
So fun clean and so cool
I love this place! Awesome venue! Awesome talent here!
Had a great time, listen to bands and hanging with some friends
Cool place to chill. However be prepared to bring extra cash.
Great sound, good drinks, awesome events
Had a great time will be going back soon
Great sound, friendly staff
AMAZING BUILDING! I LOVE the layout of this structure. Perfect for DAS BUNKER!
I lik it a cool club cant wait to go again
Very dirty and horrible security this just like Compton but with a white guy manager
Cool venue. Drinks are priced too high.
Long queue but worth it
Great place to die at! If a fire breaks out all will perish!
Good if youre barely 18, not for the adults.
