Before I came here I read the reviews . I seen one about the bartender . It’s so crazy I went threw the same thing . She is such a lazy unprofessional bartender I was literally asking her what drinks they had , she ignored me and seconds later a security comes to hand me water and asks me to sober up . Mind you I berly arrived to the club and I hadn’t even had a drink nor even before the club. She’s so unprofessional, I’m a bartender myself and this is not it . She needs to get fired all she does is hand there and give everyone ugly energy . She’s so stupid.

Bar serves minimal drinks. Get on the guest list on their website to get in free before 11pm. Attracts a younger crowd in their 20s. Dance floor is small & not clearly visible in between the VIP sections.

There’s a reason they have 3 star reviews. We were 6 girls and they were charging us on a Sunday when it was empty and we had a table! Please check on your security.

This club is retarded. I didn’t even buy no drinks from the bar lady as she didn’t even give me nothing because she’s so selfish within ourselves. This club is barked out to be not even actually in Hollywood on the Hollywood Boulevard. They still act like they upscale, and I ain’t even all that upscale. This club not cool at all I didn’t even buy no drinks from them an she still say I needed water any club I go to loves Ny energy so for her ugly but to act like that God bless this club

I went here last night & security wanna charge me. Don’t know why security charging people when they check ur bag. Need better security that’s going to protect the place & people not see how much money they can get from walk in customers. That’s the second time security wanna charge me.

Security at the door threatened to knock me out after allowing a patron to threaten my life. Extremely ugly, violent, & unnecessary.

Supposedly the guy with the suit name was jonathathan and the short guy is jose. Dont get scammed by them. They say they will pay parking and enterence and they bait and switch.

The club Instagram posted a flyer with directions to purchase tickets. We got the tickets and when we arrived they told us they don’t take those tickets and haven’t for 3 months. It was extremely unprofessional. Maybe communicate with your promoters. Don’t post information to your official Instagram page that is false. Literally a waste of our time. Terrible management.

Cool little video machine that will email u the footage. They put on a good show with bottle service girls and female bartenders showing lots of body. Flamingo dancers in elaborate costumes. Nice security. Typical patrons with lots of plastic surgery so be sure to dress over the top and very revealing

Worst service I have experienced. Spent close to $2,000 and our bottle service came late to our table plus staff was extremely rude. One of the service girls followed my cousin into the restroom and demanded that she pay for the bill, while they were trying to use the restroom, and then tried to threaten us when we comforted her about her actions. A manager never came out to help us with the situation and the staff was not trying to help either, they were making it seem that we were in the wrong for saying something to the girl! Ridiculous, definitely not worth the money, will never be coming back.

The guy at the door may be racist. Showed up at 10:45pm for the free before 11pm with a ticket from a friend who had 10 tickets but bailed on me last min. I was by myself.I was denied based on my friend not being there. When a promoter then tried to vouch for me, I was STILL denied based on already showing the ticket he wouldnt let me use. I was wearing skinny jeans, stilettos heels and a turtle neck tank. I was gonna have my birthday there in Nov.... please get a new door guy.Edit: Ive seen your staff and have been a patron. Always treated well, until this new door guy. Seeing your staff doesnt make the guy at the door not rasict. You have staff currently working there that have the same feelings/suspicions towards him. Perhaps do some digging to see if theres any validity in my statements. Thanks for your response.

Dragonfly is one of my favorite places to go on a Saturday night. The DJ’s are always good and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you want to have a fun night and listen to good music.

Update: Now that a man was shot and killed at the dragonfly we really wouldn’t go back.When we lived in West Hollywood for about a decade we would go over there years ago and Howard the owner was rude and the club was pretty bad.Going back years later it’s just as bad and people peeing on the streets and pretty much a dead scene and valet is ridiculous. Wasn’t good the first time we were there or the last.

This place was holding LAs longest drum & bass weekly, Respect, for some time. There was some great times held here on Thursday nights.

I went to this club only to see a bunch of felons and thugs around. I did not feel safe going to this club. When I was leaving some people murdered the bouncer at the door. Stay away from this club!

Came here for NYE and it was so bad :( they oversold tickets so even tho u pay 60-80 for an open bar, it’s impossible to get a drink because it’s so packed. The website also promised a free champagne toast at midnight which didn’t happen either. :/ maybe it’s more fun on regular nights but New Year’s Eve is really bad unless u pay for a table. Definitely not worth it.

If I could give this place no stars I would. For my bachelorette party they overcharged for a table, did not mention it was outside, then when we went in to dance to one of the few good songs they played the removed our stuff from our section and tried to resell it. Music was garbage and people hardly danced.

I am only giving this club one star because of the rude skull face looking lady at the door called Sarah, she was very rude to me and my friends, i wonder where the club found someone with that attitude. she is really nasty. I have being to this club on a friday and i didnt see her at the door. She is just so nasty! We had a good time at the club, it was so fun but the female DJ killed the vibes with bad song choices. I will definitely party here again!

This year I chose to celebrate New Years Eve at Derriere. Unfortunately, bringing in 2020 was completely ruined. I purchased a table for 6 for 1,000. As we approached the area, I noticed the set up was not sufficient for a space for 6ppl. The space could only seat 3 ppl at most because another vip table was squeezed in the area. The bottle service server was polite and went to get the manager; however, he did not help resolve the issue. That was the last time I spoke to him.I preceded to speak to Kristen, the woman working the bottle service check in. I explained to her that my party was unable to fit in that area. She said that the space is not meant for 6ppl to sit. Then said, “This is not a dinner party setting.” I understand my table was only for 6ppl but that set up was not acceptable. That table should have been for 4ppl max. Kristen was very rude, disrespectful, and spoke to me as if I was incompetent. She went on to say, “If you knew about clubs and bottle service, then you should know that the space is limited. Well, I know a little about bottle service at clubs. Recently, bought 5 bottles at the Sofitel and tend to buy bottles whenever I go out. Kristen then told the security to have me move to the outside of the rope and she will give me information on a refund. We stood there for 15min while she did not acknowledge us. She had no line and wasn’t helping anyone and still chose not to acknowledge me. Very rude. The customer service from Kristen was unacceptable. The security was kind enough to communicate with me.Another party had a similar issue last night with bottle service. A woman said she paid 2,000 for 8ppl and only 2ppl could fit in the area. The venue should really reevaluate bottle service and spacing, as well as proving customer service training to staff and ppl like Kristen. I spent the New Years Eve countdown in an Uber.

I love it here! Good music, great customer service, and nice staff up front. My favorite night is Thursday’s it’s Spanish night.

This place charges to get in pretty much every night. The crowd is pretty diverse and eclectic. The music can be good, but theyre mostly catering to goth and industrial at this point. Now what really grinds my gears... the 9 buck bud lights! WTH? I cant enjoy myself knowing that this one beer cost me as much as a whole 12 pack would in the store. The place really isnt that special , so I cant justify blowing that much money on drinks here.

This club ruined our New Year’s EveShort story? This club oversold their sections and attempted to scam us and other patrons into buying more space on New Year’s Eve 2020. They did not provide the bottle service that was advertised on their event link. They were also rude and nonchalant about their deceptive acts.The ambiance is also subpar!Buyer/Party-goers Beware! Long story?Environment... Derrière is mediocre at best. This club is essentially a “hole in the wall” in between tire shops and warehouses. It does not meet an excellent standard. The location is less than desirable, the service is subpar, and the Dj is average and nothing to write home about.Poor Service... Their staff ruined our event on the eve of the 2020 New Year. We reserved 2 sections for use. 1- 3 bottle- six person table section and 1- one bottle champagne 2 person section. They attempted to stuff our party of six in a space that was meant to accommodate only 2-3 people. Our section had other people in it upon arrival and was dirty when we arrived. When we notified their staff that 3 people in our party did not have accommodations... They told us “This isn’t a dinner party situation” and stated that we “were not used to going to clubs because not everyone is going to have a place to sit.” They then attempted to con us into paying an additional $1500 dollars to buy another upgraded section just so that the rest of our party could sit. They never stated these conditions in their event link descriptions of bottle services.Poor Problem Solving... We were desperate to have fun, but could not overcome the rudeness and audacity of their low level bottle service coordinator Kristen. She was egregious, classist, and condescending when poorly attempting to the resolve the issue. There were also two other groups that paid $2,000 dollars for two sections for 8 people and were only given a section that accommodates 2 people. Our group was not the only group to have this issue that night. We cannot get our 2020 New Year’s Eve back!I have partied at clubs in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, New York, Washington-D.C., Maryland, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Mexico.I have never been as disrespected and disappointed at venues across the continent and abroad as I was at this small obscure venue in the outskirts of Hollywood being passed off as Derriere LA. This club is essentially a hole in the wall in between tire shops and warehouses. It does not look to be an elite establishment but fully overreaches and attempts to be elite with poor customer service and even poorer ambiance!The security staff and the young lady who attempted to lead us to the table were very understanding but our NYE ended with us bringing in the New Year in a Lyft.

Colorist against dark skin women!! what’s the point of giving y’all my service. Stop hiring these rude light skin women. This place use to be fun. Black women don’t give your money or get dressed up to come here please trust me !

This Spot is the Bomb and offers a great addition to the Nightclub culture in Hollywood, parties for every genre of music A1 staff etc. Don’t sleep.

INCREDIBLE NEW VENUE! Top notch crowd, excellent DJs, and the decor is amazing! Very friendly door staff as well. This venue is definitely unlike the others in town. I highly recommend stopping by on a Friday night.

Not worth it. $30 just to park in their lot and then a $20 cover charge, and when you get in it’s just a small overcrowded club. Nothing special about it. Total waste of money

Pretty cool dive club that books solid nights. Employees have an attitude though and one of the bouncers (older guy) has a screw loose. The other night he spent 5 minutes grilling my 26 year old gf about her out of state ID- he straight up said how much did you pay for this? right away. No due diligence at all though- and then he had the nerve to insult me for standing up for her when he was being incredibly aggressive with her. Eventually let her go through but we turned right around. Not spending my money on thatUsed to love this spot but not sure Ill go back after that. Few things worse than a mentally unstable bouncer

Sounds like YALL need to hire a few more bouncers to take care of the RIFF RAFF out there.. Hollywood is way over exaggerated

What a fun North Beach neighborhood bar. Stranded in the city by a snowstorm, I went to watch some playoff football games. Was feeling pretty out of step since the crowd was uber local. By halftime of the first game I felt like I lived there and had a great time with all my new Dragonfly Barfriends. Highly recommend. No food service though, but they do let you bring it from next door or across the street so no big deal.

Ive been to many JS.Global events at the Dragonfly in the past! Each time, I had a great time, enjoyed the show and the staff was wonderful!Last night, I was back to support JS Global. Except this time, I brought a date with me!We arrived at the door around 11:22PM! We presented our ID cards! As one of the doorman was inspecting my dates purse, the other one wearing a Kangol type hat that was staring at my date!He asked who we where there to see! But his inflection sounded like why are you here?I said Dat ALC! Then suddenly he said she cant come in! Shes on something and that I need to take her to get something to eat!Now I would have no problems if we where just being denied entrance but to be accused of being under the influence! Thats not cool!I am never coming back to Dragonfly unless this doorman gets reprimanded! This makes no business sense and hes not a very good human!

Great place to go if you like getting drugged and raped. This place caters to sex offenders who work with the bar to drug women and rape them. The bartenders will put the drugs in your drink and the door man will laugh as you get taken away. No joke.

I was at the bar on Thursday night and the Latina bartender served every Latino while looking over me… a negative star is definitely more appropriate

This place is really a good spot on tuesdays, its reggae with live bands.Its called KINGSTON 12 and its only $10 bucks to get in some days $15 depending on who is performing and free before 10:30pm no waitng in line, with a smoking area. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went in last night and the bouncer pulled my girlfriends hair because she walked through without the stamp. Ended up with no compensation or remorse what so ever.

Its closed??? Boo. This was a great dive bar that doubled as an intimate, chill venue that always hit just the right level of hype. That makes me sad.

There was a girl getting jumped and managers kicked out someone who was trying to break it up instead of kicking out people who start problems shows what they allow inside there place horrible

Saw Point Break Live. Show was awesome! Cool little stage on Santa Monicas Theatre Row. Worth checking a show out there for sure.

Good music but that’s about it. Service sucks. Don’t try this place out.

My favorite Thursday night spot. Been going to this spot for the last 7 years. The Drum n Bass is the best in the west.
