Not the greatest, but not the worse restaurant either. They took a long time to acknowledge I was at the door waiting to be welcomed and seated. Decided just go ahead and grab a table. Once that happened our server was super nice. Interesting food - Korean combined with comfort food. Interesting. We went to have dinner and around 8.45pm the music got ridiculously loud. It is not the perfect place for a informal business meeting - which thought it was- but rather a place to go with friends / loved ones and have some fun. Beautiful bar. Overall - interesting business focused on a millennial crowd
Defently should have read the reviews. I concour that they pick and choose what they do and don’t allow and don’t follow their own rules. The bar staff were nice and genuine, but the security was a joke and lied about my experience. Do not recommend.
Actually awful. About 10 people got their phones stolen in one night and the guards did nothing to help. They refused to check the cameras and just ignored people’s attempts to seek help. Do not come unless you want to get your phone stolen and deal with awful guards.
The employees are incredibly rude and inconsistent with their “dress code policy”. they pick and choose what they do and don’t allow and don’t follow their own rulesit’s a mid club at best and the people that work there do their best to keep it that way
Apparently you can’t breakdance in the club that’s for dancing! Owner of the club was completely obnoxious, I hanged my jacket on the hooks meant for CLOTHES and was scolded that the hooks was not meant for clothes. I been coming to this establishment for years but only saving grace is the drinks. Do not come here, lots of clubs in k town much more accommodating like break room, kiss kiss bang bang, even sip boba. Do NOT COME TO THIS ABG TRAP 🪤. The security are Obnoxious snobs who are always looking for altercations. I respect the bartenders of this establishment who are always nice and accommodating, I hope 🤞 you get better ❤️🩹 jobs. This club was always the alternative to arena, now I see why. Anyways here is a picture of the OWNER of the establishment flashing his light at me for dancing 🕺. Apparently I was too good, and was almost asked to step out.
I had a disappointing experience at this club. The staff were incredibly rude and lacked basic customer service skills. Not recommended. Please do not support this place.
I had a bad experience trying to get into this club. They aren’t consistent with their rules and how they judge people, it feels targeted honestly. would not recommend to anyone
Pretty cool spot in K town! The crowd seemed to be a lot college kids. Their drinks were a little bit on the pricier side but its expected at clubs like this. I do think the DJ was playing good songs. We wanted to get a table but there was only 2 hours left so we decided not to. Someone quoted us $1000 for 8 people I think its worth it if you split. I think next time we will get a table to get that experience.
The atmosphere here is definitely nice. Was expecting a more bougie menu options but instead was surprisingly met with traditional bar food (chicken wings, squid, truffle fries, elotes, nachos, etc.) Food here was pretty good. Only had the beer here during happy hour, which by the way, only offered food discount on the oysters ($2 to $1). They also had a $20 all you can drink cocktails offer for the HH.
I had a disappointing experience at this club. The staff were incredibly rude and lacked basic customer service skills. Additionally, the club has a concerning history of hate crimes, which raises serious questions about safety. The owner’s sense of entitlement adds to the overall unpleasant atmosphere. Not recommended. Please do not support this place.
I am so sad that the restaurant with the best food Ive ever pushed past my lips, has apparently turned into yet another stereotypical LA nightclub with the same name. Seems decent enough as nightclubs go, but the restaurant was truly special.
Someone I know of has been beaten by 3-4 security guards. Hate crimes should never be allowed in the first place. Please do a better job with your staff members because this is absolutely unforgivable.
Staff incredibly rude, youre better off playing with strobe lights in a kiddy pool for a better vibe. Avoid this place
Been here twice for their nightclub to celebrate different events. The first time, the music was very mediocre and the vibes here were off - not a very high energy club. We came back the second time only because Arena was charging an insane cover that night. Second time we came back, someone (not in our group) bumped into a security guard and the security guard thought it was us and lost his temper. He wouldn’t listen, threatened to kick us out (but didn’t, since we literally didn’t do anything wrong and the club doesn’t want even LESS people there) then continued to stare us down and antagonize us the entire night. Very unprofessional and made everyone uncomfortable. The music also wasn’t great that night and we honestly should’ve just gone somewhere else. Don’t come here - we also will not be coming back.
We waited in line for an hour only to be told we can’t enter. My guy friends were wearing shorts and apparently they can’t enter the club if they are wearing shorts. It didn’t say anything online that they can’t wear shorts. Nor were there any signs by the door that said they couldn’t wear shorts either. We are from Canada so we don’t know how clubs work here. The bouncer saw my Canadian ID so I’m pretty sure they were just discriminating against us?
Great place for happy hour.Unfortunately, saddened that their menu changed entirely and is more fusion now. I recommend the hamburger steak and the fries dish. The oysters did not taste fresh. Their white wine from the happy hour menu was not bad -- their spicy pasta was my least favorite (refer to pictures).I recommend coming here solely with groups for happy hour -- the space is beautiful and really spacious. If you come with a group of 9 or more, you can reserve their booths. In the evening, the restaurant turns into a lounge type of feel with a DJ.The service was really good and parking on the weekend is not too bad; try parking around the corner where Dennys is located.
This place is having an identity crisis. Night club? Sports bar? Korean pub masquerading as an Italian restaurant...? There are no good vegetarian options other than fries. And our THREE servers confused all of our orders. The wings didn’t have sauce, the salmon was over salted and the pizza was soggy, flavorless mush. Waitstaff very unprofessional. Music very loud at 7pm on a Tuesday. To try and please all is to please none.
This establishment is primarily visited by Asian Americans, so if youre looking for a more diverse crowd, this isnt the place for you. The atmosphere is very clubby and most of the clients are in their mid to early twenties. The attire is pretty casual but if you plan on visiting, do yourself a favor and show up early. The place is small and you could easily spend an hour in line if you get there too close to 11.
Very good place to be on the weekends
Unfortunately there is nothing really special about this place. We came in right as it opened, behind 2 other people, and somehow the service took much longer than it should have. All we ordered food wise was a burger and kimchi fried rice, neither of which are generally that time consuming to make. I understand if a restaurant is busy that food may take awhile to come out, but this was almost as long as a wait as a busy place. Food also was pretty underwhelming, so cant say I would really ever go back here.
Service was pretty bad. - 3 years agoReturned after 3 years and service was even worst. Got my cellphone stolen at the bar from my purse, even though it was closed, and even though there were cameras the staff refused to assist me.They dont check credit card names, someone used and stole my credit card that was on the tab on top of that.
We walked in, tried to order drinks, the bartender just stared at us. So we used the bathroom and when we left, we were LITERALLY SCREAMED at by two of the workers. One of them was mocking my wifes voice, and got in my face when I asked them to stop. What a nutty power trip. With the childish, nervous way they were acting at, I thought we were doing them a favor by trying the place. Definitely not worth it.We went to the much nicer Hae He Hueng on Western and 3rd. They have parking, good food, everything reasonably priced and very friendly staff.UPDATE: Response to owner - the door was open. It was no reason to treat us the way you did, especially since we were just trying to buy drinks. Your attitude is horrendous, dude.
First impression was that it was masquerading as a night club. Music was hard to dance to. Also, my iphone was stolen here, which seems to be a common problem.
Food was delicious and staff was nice, once we were noticed. They seemed understaffed, which meant slow service and the music was incredibly loud (especially for a Wednesday night); we had to shout at one another to hear. Overall, 5 stars given for food quality.
Amazing experience, from the start to the end. As we are French, all flavors matter and I give much importance to the design of the plates and also the taste. It was a sans-faute all along, the best surprise was the dessert, so many flavors, so much work put into that, we were delighted to have a chance to eat there,,,,
Came here on a Friday. First ones in! the food was good and not too pricey. I believe the menu changed from an earlier open so I cant comment on that. I enjoyed the food, venue, and atmosphere! I hope this place stays! I will be going back.
I came here for my sister’s birthday dinner and was impressed. The filet mignon was soooo yummy... (it says family portion but Im positive I couldve finished it myself cause it was so tiny). We also got kimchi fried cauliflower which was also amazing!!The uni rice had a strong seafood taste to it.For dessert we got the k-pop and this salted matcha flavored dessert (I forget the name of it..) but both were good! I probably wouldnt order the k-pop again, but the matcha dessert was delicious!I think the menu changes, because the next time I came here it was different. Its kind of pricey so its best saved for special occasions. On weekend nights, this place turns into a lounge which usually has a long line, so come if you’re looking for some music and a fun spot to hang out. But come early
Incredible techno night clubFree entrance
This is a restaurant and bar with a clubby atmosphere right next door to the Wiltern. The space is big inside and there are a few games you can play like shuffleboard and giant Connect Four. The happy hour for drinks and Korean-inspired bar bites looked like a good deal and there are 10+ beers on tap and more in bottles. The service was really slow though, which makes it difficult if youre trying to get a pre-show drink.
Beautiful chandeliers thats really the only positive thing I can say. So the floors were sticky, it was crowded really no seating, food wasnt that good. The worst part one night I went there and there was a guy yelling at a girl in the womans bathroom. I had told the staff and literally not until another customer pointed this out did they do anything.
Friday March 4th, 2022... lots of fun! The bartender with the pig tails made good drinks and the two deejays carried everyone... put us in a good place.
Literally the worst club in Los Angeles. Terra Cotta is a confusingly low energy place that brings nothing interesting to the table. It is the closest you can get to feeling like you are at a middle school dance, except even there I dont remember them covering half of the dance floor with long tables. The only thing that isnt completely awful is how it looks inside, and even that is completely forgettable. The drinks are bad, the vibe is lame, the crowd is lifeless, the design is poor, its not in a great location, somehow there is a line, there was literally a rat in the bathroom. Seriously, even if you are set on going to a club with a bit of scene lounge feel, go to Bootsy, go to Warwick, go to Soho House, go to any of the countless LA clubs that have something to offer.
Beware: scammers. One of the new girls straight up pocketed a twenty I gave her. Then the manager tried to charge me for drinks I had already paid for. Then they didnt give me my card back before I left even though they charged it and even had me sign for it. Do not recommend at all.
I went there on Saturday and it was a horrible experience. They told us that there is a table for us and we walked in. We waited for 30 minutes asking them to show it to us, but everyone ignored us. Specially VERY RUDE girls at the front. There were 2 girls working up front when we asked them to show us our table or for them to tell us the truth that they are overbooked and we should just go somewhere else. These girls were looking at us up and down first then turned around and start talking between themselves, other costumers, and we were just shoked. Never again. Do not recomend this place!
Fantastic every time. I have been there 3 times now. I think I have pretty much tried everything on the menu. Even the Oysters which is a huge surprise on account of me hating oysters. But there was a cocktail/kimchi looking sauce that I had to try. It was fantastic but I still wont do it again. Cant get over the idea of eating oysters. Everything else is amazing. Chicken is magically crispy, even the day after with a reheat. Filet is superb and the hint of truffle is perfect, not overwhelming like most other places. The white seabass is amazing. Im not a huge fan of fish either, anything from the sea is not my go to, but that may change with this seabass. I would highly recommend the place and plan to go there again myself. The Garbi dish that I picked off my daughters plate was so good, I may need to get that as an appetizer.Oh, the place looks amazing too. Drinks are good but Im not a huge drinker so I cant really speak to it or give a comparative opinion.
Rude staff & unprofessional owner. Do not waste your precious time & money here.
If youre Asian and want to get ripped off for a club that no one can dance at and want to pay 70 usd for two drinks you may as well go your average pub 👍
Meh, just ok. No servers came to our table so I approached the first bartender. She was too busy to take my order while she was having shots with people at the bar. She referred me to the front desk after we had already been seated by the front desk. Second bartender was very cool and took our order, drinks were fine. Very Clubby and contemporary atmosphere. However very conveniently located to The Wiltern theater. Drinks at Terra Cotta are way cheaper than they are at The Wiltern theater.
Theres $5 valet parking. Drinks were ok, music was ok. If you enjoy techno then its a great place, but if you need more than a techno vibe this probably isnt the place for you. Although it mignt just be a friday night thing.
Female bartender shady behavior. Found charges on my card I didnt approve. Fun dance floor though
Went on a Saturday night and it was packed but still got served drinks in a timely manner and was never thirsty. Good music by a rockin female DJ and nice bathrooms with short lines.
Avoid at all cost someone came in and drugged everyone’s drink with LSD. No security
Spicy fushion, fantastic Korean influenced food. Great place to stop before the wiltern. Order the large skewer platter, it fed our table of 5, plus a couple apps!
Nice small club/bar. Gets packed around 11 so come a bit earlier. Drinks are about average club price, bartenders are hit and miss. I would suggest getting a table.
Great nightclub and ambiance. This place is appreciated by the Asian community for their type of songs.
Ambiance was a mix of restaurant / bar / club - lighting was dim but it wasn’t that romantic lol. Staff was super friendly. Food was disappointing - comparing what’s written on the menu vs. what was presented. Don’t get the mac and cheese - tasted like it was from frozen TV dinner.
Delicious food, great drinks and excellent atmosphere. I can’t wait until they open again, when life returns to normal after Covid-19 is controlled.
Food and drinks were good, the only thing is that some things were over priced. My drinks shouldve be $10 each not $14 each. For some milk and vodka. Not cool. That couldve been a 4th/ 5th drink for what I paid.
Good atmosphere, easy parking next door. Good happy specials, except they had posted for a $1 each but none left :-(
Went here for night club and it was pretty cool and chill. They have a couple of table games available to play (doesnt cost anything).
I enjoyed waiting outside in line for 45 min ,than the hour I was inside . The music was mediocre and seemed to be the same thing over and over again .
This place is super chill, met some cool people, and drinks were pretty decent. Id come back again
These are a vegie skewer and sweet potato fries. You may park at the parking building where the Dannys and Ralphs are (2hrs with validation)
Staff is so rude, when asked to speak to a supervisor they play ball and they claim not to have anyone around for any comments. Hope they change this issue and train their staff better, unacceptable.
The cowboy old fashioned was not great. The military pot was under expectations due to little sustenance within.
Pretty fun. Would be just as fun if the music was turned down a few notches, but much more tolerable and sociable.
Someone I know experienced a hate crime here.
The food is great , the drinks are ok. Fridays or Saturdays it can get popping I swear
Luxurious look, great quality food, fency looking but affordable price. Best place for date!!
Nice place. Great service. Large liquor selection.
Service was terrible at the bar. Location is convenient if going to the wiltern but I wont return.
Your phones will be stolen10 phones were stolen the night when I went.
Don’t love the vibe here. The customers are a bit too young and maybe it’s just not for me.
Place has great drinks and environment! Gets crowded though!
Cool ambiance, good beer selection. Food was ok
Happy hour 5-7pm M-F. They need to update this as website says otherwise.
Great happy hour but mostly excellent service
Awesome place to have your phone and wallet stolen
I love DJ Storm on Friday nights!!!!! Pork belly mac n cheese is a must!
I suggest for you to be brave and try something new best oysters ever
I hear that hate crimes happen here.
I went for the reddy x paloalto concert small but fun!
An employee of this establishment took my CC and charged it at a local vendor! Scary. I had to cancel my card.
Great food for you money. Perfect licale
During their Happy Hour 1$ burgers!
They have great food and great drinks.
Place is spacious, food is good and vibe is better.
Gorgeous place, great happy hour
Extremely packed on weekends but totally worth it.
Very nice restaurant. Great pasta
Watered-down drinks but good spot
Nice bar, food was good.
Rudest customer service, weird vibe, go to Mama Lion
Decent venue better than Mama Lion
🔥
Pricey, trendy, but delicious
Reasonable price and great atmosphere

Great food
So so
Its okay.
TOO MUCH NOISY.
Nice
Try onion ring
Nice interior
Delicious!
I like it!
Hot place.
Before the remodeling, it tasted pretty good, but... wow... its so bad. The uncooked oysters taste the best, and the rest of the cooked ones are so dry, twisted, and tough that my jaw hurts. Theyre so boring that they dont even taste good... Im just disappointed. .Oysters are $1 each between 5 and 8 oclock. The size is about the size of a thumb, so if you dont like large ones, its nice that theyre small, but you might be angry because theyre too small... haha.
I would like to ask, what does it mean that boys are not allowed in when they wear shorts?
“I said, ‘Hey, what about the handle of the millstone?’ I put it on the millstone to grind something and tried to turn the millstone, but the handle fell out. They say this situation is ridiculous. It’s absurd, because I can’t do what I need to do because of the handle, which is nothing. That’s how I feel right now. “It’s absurd.” I bought tickets at 9:30 and got there at 10:30, but they suddenly said that tonights event was cancelled. I really felt like that.
It will be said that you have arrived when there is still some distance from the finish line! Wouldn’t you use Uber’s built-in navigation? It should be updated!
ㅋㅋㅋ they have the end of the world on tap
