Elements Massage

Elements is such a refreshing massage studio - very serene environment, super friendly staff, they don’t try to push you to buy products, and the massage lotions (etc.) are very simple. It’s truly a place to get a high quality massage without all of the distractions of a typical massage studio.Christine is AMAZING - I have some back issues and have struggled to find a massage therapist who really understands anatomy at a level that ensures massages are effective and target the right things. I like a deep tissue massage, and she never disappoints. She’s very thoughtful about making sure she understands what issues I’m having, explains what she is going to do to help (and why), and asks for feedback as she goes. Highly recommend her, especially if you have unique needs and could benefit from a massage therapist who truly knows her stuff!

Not just the worst massage I’ve ever had in my life, probably one of the worst experiences of my life. Christine (hate to name her/ but it is what it is) threw the F bomb around probably about 20 times. I knew I was in trouble and should have left immediately once this next thing happened but as soon as I met with her she started bashing massage envy. I said I had a great experience with them! she said “WHAT?? they’re horrible!” Then requested 2 or 3 times that I tell her my masseuse at massage envy!! THEN KEP BRINGING IT UP!!she also proceeded to tell me I should consider going lesbian. which, I guess I was complaining about men.. but still. that is BEYOND unprofessional.I highly recommend you avoid this salon. They (the front desk and mgmt) are aware of my experience and have done nothing to remedy it. Unless you want to be made to feel extremely uncomfortable, avoid this place at all costs!

First time coming here; had received a gift card. Very prompt and friendly service. Had the best massage with Rita. She asked all the right questions, addressed all of my concerns and made sure to give special attention to my bothersome area. It was a wonderful experience and I definitely plan to return.

Such a wonderful place. So clean and the staff are amazing. Theresa has really been a great manager there along with the front desk. The therapists are exceptional. No matter who I go to for a massage they really attend to my needs. This is such a great place to go to for a massage.

The Elements location was very clean and professional. This was my first massage and I cannot say enough good things about Jacob! My experience was relaxing and rejuvenating. After having a baby 6 months ago this was exactly what I needed! Thanks Jacob and the Elements Massage team!

I don’t appreciate staying on layover costs me money to wait to get in for them to call and cancel on me @ last minute you guys change your customers a cancellation fee if not 24 hours notice you gave me 30 mins this is a double standard.

Great place, friendly, professional, great service and a great deal with monthly subscription pricing.

The staff is very helpful and considerate of my busy schedule. Heather is a wonderful therapist and truly cares about your wants and needs as well as taking into consideration any health issues that can be irritated with massage. She even checked in on me that evening and the following day.

The waiting area is pleasant and welcoming. The massage rooms werent the best. They were clean and the lighting was ok, but it wasnt the most relaxing environment. I would have expected hot towels and scented lotions or oils, but the massage was pretty basic considering the price. My massage therapist did an excellent job, so I cant knock them there.

Place is hard to find in the Westport village area.Rita was good.

Literally every person I encounter at Elements Massage is kind, helpful, and seems to really enjoy their job. The people at the front desk always greet me genuinely, answer all of my random questions, and make sure I know whats going on. The customer service is out of this world. The massages are perfect and I love how they try to match you with a massage therapist that gives pressure that aligns with your expectations! I love this place!

Everyone was welcoming and genuinely cared about my comfort and needs. Jenny was amazing and incredibly sweet. She ran me through the ins and outs of a prenatal massage, as it was my first one, before we got started and checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I made a second appointment before leaving and would definitely recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a prenatal massage.

Relaxed comfortable waiting room, and helpful and friendly staff. The masseuse was great! Gretchen had great strength in her hands and she frequently asked for feedback about the pressure she was applying. I felt the confidence in her touch which gave me confidence in her competence. Thats a lot of Cs in one sentence. I also appreciate the way my privacy was respected regarding when I was undressing and redressing. This had been a concern prior to my appointment, but Elements procedure for this ensured that I was minimally uncomfortable and not embarrassed at all.

I have been here twice now and both times have been very pleasant and relaxing. The first time was for a prenatal massage and the therapist explained how she would be working around my belly (I was about 34weeks). Then I recently went back and had a different therapist, who took time to talk to me about the lotion she would use, as I am breastfeeding and I had heard you shouldnt use essential oils. Upon arrival, there is minimal waiting in the lobby, not a ton of people in and out so it was very relaxing. I will definitely be returning!

Elements Massage is on point all around. As a member for over 1 year I can say that every interaction has surpassed my expectations. Ty has been absolutely amazing! I have recommended this business to multiple people with wonderful feedback.

Kathryn was amazing! She made the entire session comfortable and relaxing, and was also very informative and helpful while discussing massage techniques/preferences. I will absolutely get back to see Kathryn again as soon as I possibly can, and would highly recommend her, as well as the entire Elements experience to others.

I love Elements! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to help you get scheduled. I especially like that they are able to communicate with me by text when needed (as opposed to phone call). I have been seeing Bedina since 2018 and I never go anywhere else (unless I am traveling, and even then it is never the same!) Massage is an essential part of overall health and wellbeing and I encourage everyone to try Elements to see what benefits your body and mind can reap!

Before having my first massage, they called to set my appointment up and make sure they matched me with the best person for my needs. I love Gretchen! I also joined the Wellness program and have been going once a month and have found it to be so beneficial to my physical and mental health.

I had the most amazing experience! Gretchen is undoubtedly the best of the best. She has the most profound ability of being intuitive to her clients body and knowing exactly what kind of pressure, placement, and style of massage their body needs. Shes very thorough, extremely pleasant, and over all it was hands down the best massage Ive ever had. I highly, HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who suffers from arthritis, autoimmune diseases, plantar fasciitis, or just general aches and pains. For the last 6-8 mo Ive been progressively suffering from plantar fasciitis and in one 60 min session, she was able to work it out and for the first time since my PF began, I had 100% relief. Seriously, 100% relief and she also showed me how to do different stretches to maintain that relief. This might be overkill but im being serious. My first massage was so unbelievably amazing, i booked a second 60 min massage for the very next day. She is literally a miracle worker. Thank you Gretchen and the staff at Elements Massage! Ill definitely be back soon and tell anyone and everyone I can to check yall out and to see for themselves just how phenomenal yall are. Thank, thank, THANK YOU. ❤️

I had my first prenatal massage today with Bridget. She was great and worked with me before the massage to figure out exactly what I wanted done. It’s something that I could have never seen myself doing before I was in the room getting it done, but I’m so glad I did it. The entire experience was so great, from walking in and getting paperwork filled out to leaving after the best massage I’ve ever received. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I’m new to Louisville and after giving birth to my daughter in April, I needed some time out and some stress relief, and that is certainly what I got! Stephanie is a top notch massage therapist! She made sure that I was receiving the exact massage that I wanted and it was evident throughout that she knew exactly what she was doing! The only reason why I wouldn’t recommend her and Elements to anybody is the fear of not being able to get an appointment for myself after people discovered this absolute gem!

I love Elements Massage! I highly recommend the prenatal massage from Allison. She knows how to take great care of you during your pregnancy. The staff are great and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Elements massage to anyone that needs prenatal, deep tissue, or any kind of massage. I even got my husband to go and he enjoys it as well!!

Very relaxing and enjoyable environment. Felt very comfortable and relaxed. This was my very first professional massage so was a little unsure going in, but the therapist and reception desk made me feel very welcoming. As for the services, they were exceptional!

The reception staff are very friendly! Katherine is great! The sheets and blankets in the rooms are amazing! Id love to have those sheets and blankets on my bed! The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing and soothing. I look forward to my experience here every time!

I love Elements Massage! Their therapists are wildly talented - I havent been to the same therapist twice, for no reason other than my own availability, but each of them provided an equally amazing experience. I dont even know how I would pick between them if I had to choose. Every time Im at the studio the staff is helpful, courteous, and all will go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. On my last visit it was raining, so one of the front desk staff members offered to walk me to my car with an umbrella because I didnt have one. For me, that says it all. Love this place and will be a customer for life.

Everyone was super nice! The masseuse was very attentive to my aches and pains. Very polite and considerate when asking if the pressure was ok etc. He gave me exercises to do afterwards (to alleviate the pain I was having) and spent time showing me how to do each one. I was only in town for the holiday, but if I lived in Louisville, I would definitely be a regular!!

Abby is absolutely incredible. Shes helped me so much throughout my treatment to alleviate constant pain I carry in my neck and back. I really cant say enough about her performance and professionalism. She knows exactly where to massage and the perfect amount of pressure to give. I also really enjoy being greater by the front staff and Keith. They are always so warm and welcoming.

Jacob is amazing! So intune with the body. Best massage Ive ever had, & Ive had a few. Made me 100% comfortable. I had some trepidation about a male masseuse, not anymore. I cant say enough about him, you wont be disappointed. From the desk, to the bathroom everything was on point.

Fantastic experience, very quiet and great hours (even weekends!!) As a dentist I always have tight muscles in my neck & shoulders. Gabe is the best at getting them back to normal. Highly recommend!

I loved this place but extremely disappointed now. I tried to make another appointment and they refused it because I am a nurse taking care of Covid patients. I told them In December I was, before vaccinations, and they had no problem with it. I wore my mask the entire time. This time was denied. I gave it a few days before I wrote something but I’m still upset about it and don’t think it’s okay. I told them I’ve been vaccinated and have had Covid and it was still a “no.” I bought my mom a massage there and I regret it now. She hasn’t used it yet.

It was a great massage! He does a wonderful deep tissue that really relieves stress. I have been to a few masseuses that are just too soft and feels like they are just rubbing in lotion. I love his style and will be back.

The level of training the therapist/ masseuse have here is evident .Always professional and friendly .Honestly ,I never thought to much of massage .Then I pulled my back several years ago and became a convert!! I look forward to my monthly appointment !Great place and people.

Disappointed in their appointment reservation system, which led to less than ideal massage experience. My husband called the Herr lane location to make an appointment for me for my birthday. He was instructed to go online and do the form. After completing the online form, he received an email that said confirmation in the subject line and Elements Massage Louisville East in the signature. The email instructed him to call the Louisville East number to provide more information on what type of massage I was looking for. He called the number and finalized details. Over a month later when its time for my appointment I show up to the Louisville East location and am told they dont have a reservation for me, that I had been scheduled at Middletown. I explain that I have the confirmation email saying Louisville East. They told me thats just the email confirming that my husband completed the online form and that for whatever reason my appointment was made for Middletown. They explained that Middletown would have called or texted two days prior to the appointment to confirm and ask Covid questions. My husband did not receive a call and did not have any voicemail from Elements (and why would they call and not leave a message if theyre asking covid symptoms presumably?). Whether or not he was told on the phone that the appointment was being made at Middletown at the time of booking, he received no confirmation or reminder of that being the case. Fast forward to me standing at the desk at Louisville East: they call Middletown and ask if they can accommodate me a little later since it would take me time to drive over there. They said yes if I left now I could make it on time and theyd give me my full time. My massage and the therapist were great, but I only received a 60 minute massage (I watched the time knowing this might happen). Three stars because it just sucks when its customer service that brings overall quality down. Especially when the therapists are working their butts off to make a dollar. Didnt help that I got the typical well, our locations are run by different managers so I dont know how they do things over there when I was literally trying to figure out what the hell happened with the reservation and non-existent/misleading confirmation information that was given.

I was able to get a same day appt at a time when I had really pulled something bad in my back. 1 hour later and I walked out feeling a huge improvement that continued for the next day or two until I was back to normal. Something worth mentioning, most places and one big brand that I cant stand to use offer 1hr but in reality is closer to 45min with all the talking and changing etc.. Elements is a true 60min on the table so plan to be at the location for closer to 70-75min. That alone would have me coming back, but with the addition of the great therapy I will be back for sure.

When I came into the door, the employees knew my name and welcomed me to the facility with smiling faces. The massage was the best of my life, and I felt calm and relaxed throughout the entire experience. I cannot recommend Elements Massage enough!

This was my first professional massage. I had the 2 hour massage with Ty. It was wonderful. Very relaxing and he really helped work out some problem areas in my back. Hes amazing!!!

Staff is knowledgeable, polite, and seems genuinely concerned about your comfort.i had 70 minute deep tissue massage and left feeling relief from muscle tightness. Their membership plan gives a good discount on massage services and you can share plan with one other person.

Terrible experience! Our first booking which by the way needs MONTHS in advance to get a schedule only to be cancelled on A SAME DAY NOTICE, i said to myself, okay lets give them another chance only to happen again!rebooked months ahead and then gets cancelled only hours before my appointment! WASTE OF YOUR TIME. No compensation offers nothing! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Waste of time and not relaxing just frustrations!

Be careful with the membership!!! Covid-19 has been hard but I had two back to back appointments canceled and Im still paying for another month membership. I asked for a waiver to cancel now since I cannot get an appointment and they canceled twice, but no. Im paying another month, with no massage!!!! Dont do the membership, you pay and cannot get a massage.....

This was the first time I felt my muscle knots improve after just 1 session. I carry my stress/anxiety in my shoulders and neck (who doesnt) and Ty did a fantastic job of alleviating that tension. The pain completely dissipated within the day. I have had massages in the past, but I have NEVER had such immediate results. If youre looking for pain relief, give Ty a visit. I will come again!

Unlike other reviewers I was very disappointed in my massage, I am not new to massages I have had many over the years at spas all over the world.I asked for a relaxing massage it was anything but relaxing, ouch , ouch , ouch ! I was in pain literally, never have I ever almost screamed in pain. The worst massage ever .

- hospitality sums it up- professional attentiveness by reception staff as well as by therapists- The therapist who treats me is always aware of what he has worked on in previous appointments re: work on a given knee or ankle, aware of where I carry my stress, etc. He also offers suggestions about changing up the routine a bit.- Professional connectedness- quiet respected - cleanliness

A nice comfortable studio with really terrific staff. My session with Jacob was great. I’m looking forward to using the Elements Wellness Program in 2022.

I was a Massage Envy client previous to Elements and I appreciate the difference for the time you receive. With Elements you get the full time you pay for. So an hour is an hour of massage vs. 40 - 45 previously.

The entry area is quiet and calming and has chocolate!! Jennifer is helping me improve my health as well as providing a relaxing experience.
