This place is so clean and the vibes in this place is just so relaxing and calming. The staff is so friendly and the customer service is amazing!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting the spa and leasing experience! Oh and they do an amazing job as well!!!
Should you try this nail salon? ABSOLUTELY!! Ive been a loyal customer for about 1 year now. I will not go anywhere else!!! The ladies here are wonderful and their customer service is outstanding. They offer all sorts if services from manicures & pedicures, to acrylic, dipped or gel nails. Alena is so knowledgeable and helpful about nails its refreshing. Im curious so Im always asking questions and she gives me the real deal. Im an old school acrylic chick but I have tried their dipped and gel nails and they always look amazing. I stick to my acrylic nails because they last longer for me in my line of work. The selection of nail colors us like no other Ive ever seen. They just got in the colored acrylics a few weeks ago and I was dying to try it. I must say Im a huge fan. Ive gotten so many compliments in the past few days. If you havent tried this amazing place you most definitely should.
I was looking for somewhere to get my nails done. I was able to get a same day appointment. Dee did my nails and she is very knowledgeable. I got the cat eye gel and it turned out really nice. Great for Halloween! I was able to get in and out on my lunch hour, a huge plus!! I will definitely go back!

Lina hooked me up on my nails. She was very nice & attentive to me. I let her know what I wanted & she exceeded my expectations with her details & precise art. She really made my experience comfortable & relaxing which is what I really needed. Ive received lots of compliments on my nails & I absolutely love them! Ive been going here for about 6 months and love it! Victoria is awesome and will always make you laugh with her stories. Dee has done my nails several times and always does a great job. Lena has also been my tech for a few times, and they all take their time and do a wonderful job. Gel on gel is the way to go which was recommended to me by Victoria. It lasts so much better than the dip or regular gel that Ive had in the past without any chipping. I even suggested my sister go to them and she loves them too! Go see this amazing team!
This is the best nail experience I have ever had! I will no longer be going anywhere else or to anyone else! My nails have never looked better! Lena asked questions about my job and lifestyle to ensure my nails could hold up! She is also extremely knowledgeable and informative! She explained her every step and exactly what she was doing and what the products are doing! She took her time and really pours her heart into her work and it totally shows!
I absolutely love getting my nails done here. Its been my go to location since moving to Fern Creek. I highly recommend making an appointment, even though they accept walk-ins.This is a photo of my nails after a couple weeks of getting them done. So you can tell they do a good job. I have the gel on gel service this time around.

I have been going to Lena at Bombshell for over 2 years. She and her sisters always take good care of me, and my nails look fantastic! I get gel on gel, and they are all very talented and excel at their craft.

These ladies are super sweet and did a great job on my toes!But do not by any means let her touch your FACE!She ruined my eyelashes. I paid $200 for one at a time, INDIVIDUAL Mink, natural but noticeable, top and bottom eye lashes ($150- top , $50-Bottom). When I got up from the chair my eyes were blinded from the glue and light. So, when she put the mirror up to my face, I thought the lashes looked fine. But when I got home and looked at them in the mirror I was instantly alarmed! Not only could they not be seen from a distance because they were too thin, but, one eye was missing pieces and had a noticeably smaller amount of lashes than the other eye. It was ugly and uneven!I called and left a message begging her to fix it. So, she told me to come back in- only to go in the completely opposite direction of natural. Without protecting my bottom lashes, she glued on chunks of lashes (not the single individuals) until I had two fluffy caterpillars. - Every lash was the same length and super thick! :( Before I could look in the mirror this time she had rip my eyes open because the glue had stuck my top and bottom lashes together. My $50 bottom lashes were ruined. I couldnt get out of there quick enough. The next day, they started falling out. Thats when I had realized what she did. On top of my $200 single mink lashes, she put chunk after chunk of cheap synthetic lashes to make it thicker.When I called to complain about the $5 beauty supply lashes she glued on top of my $200 minks, she informed me that she did me a favor by making them thinker and was nice enough to not even charge me for fixing it. Seriously? Why would I pay $200 for single lash minks just for you to cover them up with synthetic chunks?Readers BEWARE!
All in all, I liked the service and the staff, and the facility itself was very nice and clean. But I only came in for 3 services with my daughter. I wanted a full set and a pedicure for myself, and just a polish change for my daughter’s nails. I only wanted the basic pedicure, but a woman tried to convince me to do a jelly pedicure that I didn’t really want. And although I said no and declined politely about 3 or 4 times, the woman insisted, and then put the jelly in my foot bath of the pedicure chair. Then my daughter, who wasn’t going to get a pedicure at all, the same woman insisted, and then took her by the hand and to put her in a chair, even though me and my daughter both stated that she was not getting a pedicure that day. And proceeded to put the jelly stuff in her foot bath as well. Both of the jelly services combined was over $100 that I wasn’t really prepared to spend or had budgeted for. Also, the extra unwanted services took up extra time that interrupted other plans we had for the day. Besides that, I liked my nails, as did my daughter, and the services that we actually came in for were done very well. But I didn’t appreciate the aggressive sales tactics for unwanted services.
Literally the WORST nail service I’ve had in the whole 25 years I’ve been getting my nails done! I asked for a pedicure and nail dip. When I say in the pedicure chair, I asked for the pedicure menu to pick out which option I wanted. I was pretty sure I wanted the peppermint stick, as it’s my favorite, but thought about trying something new. Not once did she ask me which pedicure service I wanted. She just did what she wanted, which was the most basic one. I asked for extra cuticle care on my big toe as it is sore & thought it needed some extra attention with the dry skin. She refused to take care of it. I asked for my nails and toes to match…. THEY DON’T and I’m going on vacation tomorrow, so I don’t have the extra time or money to get them redone. On the pedicure list, it clearly says $1 per extra minute they massage your legs & feet. I asked for 2 extra minutes, one minute per leg. Should be $2. However, I was charged $5. Make that make sense. Cala advertisement & terrible customer service. She did ZERO cuticle care on my nails. Literally didn’t even get her cucticle tool out. After paying $106 my nails don’t match, my big toe still has extra skin, I was over-charged per THEIR price menu, and my nails look no better than before I can’t in there. The nail tech at station 6 didn’t listen to a word I said, did whatever she wanted instead of listening to the paying customer’s needs & wants, I still have the dry cuticles I went in there with. Instead of giving me pretty nails and feet for my beach vacation, she lectured me the entire time on how I need to use cuticle oil. I have purchased cuticle oil from this particular salon and use it religiously. They are homemade products with zero information provided on them. I came and spent money for a relaxing nail service and got the exact opposite. I only tipped 15% which is very low for me. That’s how bad my service was. This was my 6-7th try at this salon and my LAST! Will not ever return and I’ll make sure as a community member of Fern Creek that no one I know will coMe here for a shotty nail service!! Horrible!

I went there day before Labor Day they were able to take me. CiCi did my mani/pedi I think she did a really good job . It had been months since I had a pedicure, my feet felt so much better afterwards. Did a really nice job polishing everything was neat and smooth

Everyone was very friendly! The salon was clean and very safe with social distancing and plexiglass at the stations. Victoria is nice and very funny. Lena was awesome. She is knowledgeable and recommended a different way to do my nails that is better for them. I Loved my entire experience at Bombshell nails!! I definitely will recommend them to everyone I know.
Lena is an absolute doll! I had the best experience with her yesterday. I got a pedicure and dip manicure and she did a wonderful job! A little pricey, but totally worth it.
Great place with awesome customer service. I’ve been going there since my wife passed away a little over a year ago and they have always taken care of me very well. I would recommend them to anyone. I am very sensitive with my feet and they have never hurt me.
Best mani/pedi Ive ever had hands down. I had my eyebrows done my second time there, which was today. The ladies are exceptional in customer service. It is a little pricey but well worth it if you need to pamper yourself.
My daughter and I love coming here to get pedicures! We really love the gel pedicure!! It’s so fun! Everyone has always been so sweet and attentive.
I took my niece for some pampering for her birthday which included a mani pedi for her 10th birthday and she was provided a wonderful experience. So much kindness and great quality work was service was provided to us. Wonderful experience.
Do not recommend. They are short staffed and 2 out of the 4 employees are children. Ive tried this place twice. Extremely long wait both times. Today, they put me in a pedi chair when I arrived. I sat there for 30 minutes and no one told me until I asked that they wouldnt get to me for another 30 minutes. I left and went somewhere else.
Lena did a great job on my dip manicure! They had more dip color/design options than I have seen in any other salon!! The atmosphere was very relaxed, they offered drinks, and we had great conversation. Ill be back for sure.

The nail tech Julie is so unprofessional. I say this because the quality she actually put into your nails is none. I’ve never ever had my nails rip off, break down to the meat so disgusting until she did my nails. She goes way too fast. I’ve never had a nail service so quick and there so many flaws with the service! I called to talked to her directly and the way I was addressed was very poor and very ill mannered. For the pricing of their services, you would expect to be treated with care!
I do not recommend this place, I got a bacterial infection from the nail tech not knowing what she is doing in regards to acrylic application. I received a full set and went back for a fill-in twice; luckily when I went in to get my third fill-in they were booked for a few hours and I didn’t want to wait! So I went to Dee’s nails (which is right beside kohl’s)Dee seriously helped me! She was very knowledgeable on the topic and gave me some great advice!I WILL NOT RETURN. AND I URGE YOU NOT TO GO!
Aside from them being short staffed or unable to keep workers, it’s frustrating when you feel like you are being rushed on when someone new enters through the door. I always feel like I am being rushed when another customer enters through the door. I am a paying customer just as they are.They can’t keep workers. My favorite was Victoria who was very warm and welcoming . She is no longer there as she went back home to New Jersey.I don’t like how I am treated when I go there.Also; I am not satisfied with my lashes. I gave them 3 tries. I will no longer waste gas , money and energy to return.
Took my daughter to get her dipped nails removed and a manicure, and will not be returning. The lady didn’t remove all the dip and left her nails looking really uneven. She also left her thumb print in my daughter’s wet nail polish and didn’t bother to fix it. My daughter also said the lady complained the entire time trying take off the dipped nail polish my daughter previously had on and made my daughter feel uncomfortable like it was her fault she couldn’t get it off. I didn’t know any of this until we got into the car and my daughter didn’t want to go back inside. Horrible experience and do not recommend if you are needing to take your dipped nails off as the manicurest did a horrible job even with the new polish she applied.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. I just moved to Lousville and this was close to where I was staying and I thought I would try it out and I wish I would have seen reviews before going. Literally I think a kindergartner could have done a better job on my nails.... painting of nails and toes is horrible, when getting my manicure and pedicure my lady hurt me multiple times (literally almost clipped off my finger when clipping my nails), and when filing she was attempting to fold my nails she was filing my fingers!!!! I am in shock how awful my experience was WILL NEVER go back. Mylady was sweet so I hate to be so crude, but it was horrible experience over all. Never been more tense when getting my nails done and have never regretted spending money more.
Ive been to many nail places and this place is by far ahead of whats out there. They do NOT use acrylic powder its gel. It doesnt damage your nails. Your nails look natural not like you have fake nails. The place is very clean and friendly. Plus you are given a champagne glass filled with some amazing juice. It is a little more expensive but WELL worth it. Cant go wrong with giving this place a try. Love this place.
Bombshell with Victoria, Lena, Dee and Nee Nee is the only place I will go for my nails! Not only do they all do amazing jobs they make you feel like family!
Victoria has a fantastic shop. She does a fantastic job with everything she does. Shes very thoughtful, and shows that she cares for her clients & staff. She seems to have a never ending amount of options of really cool services to pick from. Check it out!!! You wont be disappointed. :)
I thought I was getting pedicure with normal polish then manicure with gel on gel polish. $82 later and with a highly disappointing experience.Pedicure? Was great. Loved the experience, the salon atmosphere was very calming. Front desk staff was super friendly. I thought ot looked like a clean pedicure station. When we moved to the nail station I had doubts how clean the pedicure station actually was.Her station was very dusty. I understand there is normal amount being a salon and all but it looked like she hadnt wiped down or sanitized in a while. I was one of the first clients in the morning. I stated at least 3 times, I did not want any acrylic/fake nails. I had grown my nails out to have them shaped. Staff misunderstood me and thought I wanted tips. Get to her station and she cut my nails to the nail bed. Well, guess Im going with super short nails now.She then dremeled my natural nails and went to town applying gel base. She took a brush to apply gel that was wrapped in tin foil. Okay weird, but maybe to preserve the brushes? Nope, when we were done, wrapped it back up in new foil and put it away. Awesome, so no sanitizing containers seen and she clearly didnt clean the brush in between customers? She cut my cuticle by accident with dremmel and it was bleeding. Had a small scab for a while. Polish was still seen on my skin around nails.Best part? Paid $82 all together and no manicure. Received no cuticle care. No finger nail soak. Dremmeled then spent an hour applying gel on gel. Most I received was a sugar scrub hand wash at end to wash my hands and rinse off from all the dust.I dont spend money on myself or get my nails done very often. I stick to my strict budget. My now fiancee wanted to spoil me and told me to make an appnt for my nails. Going was a disappointment. Come to find out, my fiancee had me go because he proposed the date after getting my nails done. Between spending the weekend to celebrate and leaving for a cruise that week. I didnt want to focus on the negative and did not have time to contact the salon back about my bad experience.
By far, the best nail salon experience I have ever had! From the relaxing atmosphere, beautiful decor and flawless manicure and pedicure I received from Victoria; truly a special salon like no other. I have found my happy place!

This place is a hot mess had a full set put on by Meka, unfortunately did not bring my glasses as I can not see up close. Not only was she rather rude my husband could if done a better job. Had them removed the next day at tippy bar lounge, who also redid my nails to perfection. Terrible experience

The girl who did my pedicure only put one coat of white in my toes for my French pedicure. After I sat under the dryer for a good 5 minutes, she said I was good to put my shoes on and go. Needless to say, when I got home and took off my shoes, the white tips of my big toes was messed up!!
I’ve been to a few different nail salons since I’ve moved here a year ago and this is by far the best experience I’ve had every time I’ve come to this location. Lena and her older sister (Owner) are great and have amazing hospitality.
The lobby part of the salon was not very clean at all.. dusty shelving, dirty floor, food container besides the couch on the floor. I was iffy about getting services just due to the front of the store not being very well kept.. but I stayed, the nail technician did great.

I went in for a Brazilian wax and was highly disappointed. The point of a Brazilian is to take all of the hair off and that was not the service I received. All throughout the middle still had hair. Also, the price said it would be $60 for a Brazilian and I got charged $75. I would not ever go there again. I cannot wait to find a waxing service worth my money
