Prices are extremely reasonable and you certainly get what you pay for. She takes her time to make sure your hair is perfect. Easily the best salon I have ever been to.

This place honestly just blew me away. From the second I spoke with Lauren on the phone to the second I left the salon, she went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and understood exactly what I wanted. She was able to squeeze me in (as a new client, for a partial foil due to my previous stylist bailing on me last minute) while simultaneously working on two other clients, and not once did I feel like she was rushing or not paying attention to myself or the other two clients she was working on. Lauren SLAYED my hair with such ease and expertise, and it is very clear she is a damn good stylist. I will most definitely never go anywhere else now ❤️

Jessica did an amazing job on my full partial- she took her time making sure the highlights were the tone and color I was looking for. Her customer service is exceptional and just very personable. Lauren is a literal miracle worker. I came to her a year ago after a string of horrendous cuts with fingered crossed she could fix it. She not only fixed it she continued to provide support and help as it grew out. She is FABULOUS. I’m very excited to try a facial and massage in the near future. The new location is stunning as well. Five stars all around!

I made some serious at home errors with bleach and my hair was multiple colors and tones including orange. It was BAD. The stylist, Jaz, was so kind and understanding. She took her time to figure out and consult with other stylists to come up with a good solution. She did! My hair came out great. I am super grateful and would highly recommend this salon to anyone who needs help fixing their hair color.

Salon North is such a cute and fun place to get your hair done! The owner is friendly and involved, and Stylist Jazmon always patiently listens to what I want for my hair, but she’s very honest about what she knows my hair can or cannot handle, which I appreciate immensely. Kim Knight is an awesome stylist. She really listens to what style and color I am looking for. Got a beautiful shade of pastel pink and a new way to style my hair. I will not go to anyone else. Everyone there is friendly and a fun place to be in.

I have been getting eyelash extensions for two years now by Anjali and I have never had a bad experience. I have never disliked a set these past two years. From her skills of mapping them out to make them look natural to the quality work she provides, I have zero complaints. I always get compliments in public for my “amazing lashes”. Based on online reviews I chose to check out this salon for a haircut correction. Having fine, thin hair it is not easy to work with. Kim spent time checking it’s fine texture. She also listened to my concerns. It is by far one of the best cuts and styles I’ve ever had. It’s easy to work with, looks thicker and I’ve received many compliments. Thank you so much Kim. Alinah did my hair a few months ago and made me feel the most beautiful I’ve felt in such a long time! She’s so talented and kind, I 100% recommend her to anyone looking get color or weft extensions done!

Went for a blowout and had Lauren. She was so sweet and my hair is thin and a pain in the butt, but the blowout came out beautiful and with some dry shampoo, lasted 3 days! I was so thankful she fit me into her day and would definitely return when Im in town.

I have 2c-3a curls--sometimes I sit for a Deva/Ouidad cut, but I can get lucky with a normal cut if I find the right stylist. Alinah was the right stylist! Curly girls know that getting your hair just right is a collaborative effort & it was a pleasure that Alinah was so accommodating. She made sure I was happy with my hair. They did a fantastic job on my hair as usual! There was a scheduling issue (by no fault of their own) but called me and cleared everything up and I was able to get my hair done today. My hairdresser recently just moved to a different state and I was distraught, I didn’t know who to go to. After doing some searching, I found Salon North. Of course I was nervous going in the first time because I didn’t know how well it would be but it looked promising! And it did NOT disappoint. The salon is stylishly decorated, clean and easy to get to. I love the convenient online booking option on their website. The owner and the rest of the staff that I encountered are friendly and seem great. I got my hair cut & colored by Alisha. Shes a true professional and you can tell that she loves what she does. I welcome recommendations and ideas to change it up a bit and her ideas are always spot on! She gives great advice on how to recreate the look at home too. I switched to Salon North after being a client at another local, well known Salon in Manchester. Lauren is the only hair stylist you need in your life! She is amazing with color and always takes the time to really listen to what you want. She is welcoming, comforting and real. Shes honest and down to earth. I cannot say enough good things about Lauren and her staff at the beautiful Salon North! I am naturally a brunette, but shifted to blonde about 10 years ago. Lauren by FAR has given me the best blonde Ive ever had in all those years, and my hair has never been healthier! Not only that, but she treats you like family and her staff are just as wonderful as her. The salon is modern and clean, and I love the products and color line they use. I recommend everyone I can to go here, and not one person I have recommended have come away not feeling the same I do about how amazing it is, and this includes all services (wax, tan, etc.) not just hair! I have been going to Lauren for cut and color for several years. I have followed her wherever she has gone because she is not only excellent at what she does, she makes the experience fun. She put hair extensions in for my wedding that were perfect! She also does a great job applying spray tans; the perfect color that last up to two weeks! Friendly staff! My hair was uneven, layered, just overgrown and a mess! I showed Lauren a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and she flawlessly pulled it off! Tashia was amazing! She was professional, friendly, on time and is extremely talented! She made me feel SO comfortable in her chair. I recently had my first visit at Salon North after not having my hair done for 5 months.....Jessica was great!!!! She took the time to ask me exactly what I wanted, and with just one picture she nailed it! Had my first cut and color here last night. Lauren was wonderful! I got multiple compliments on my hair today. Liked the convenient location with parking and the cleanliness of the salon. The wine and tootsie pop were perfect details.

Lizzy did a wonderful job with my spray tan! This was my first time getting one and I was nervous how it would turn out. I’m not orange at all. This turned out to be the nicest genuine tan. I will definitely come back for another spray tan in the future!

I love Salon North! Alinah is the only person who can touch my hair from now on! I have very long hair that I’m very attached to and when I go to Alinah for a haircut she always makes sure that I’m comfortable with the amount she is cutting off! Alinah also makes sure she cuts off enough to keep my hair healthy so it will continue to grow! She is very understanding of my attachment to my long hair and I trust her completely to cut/ layer it! I just want to share my experience at North salon my 14 YO daughter got her haircut by Lizzie and she did such an amazing job it came out wonderfully!!! While my daughter was getting her haircut I was speaking with Lizzie and I showed her my own hair which I hadn’t cut in quite some time Due to an incident where I had to chop off a large section in the back as it caught fire honestly was too discouraged to even go to a salon I figured there was no helping it other than Cutting the rest of my hair off so I just wore a ponytail decided to let it grow out but Lizzie was so sweet and assured me she could blend it in enough that I could wear my hair down again and not lose my length sooo I made the appt. with her a week later and let me tell you she worked miracles you can’t even tell my hair came out beautifully and I am so thankful!!!! I actually made another appointment for a balayage can’t wait 😊

Tashia is absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I went in the other day to get our hair cut, and she did such a wonderful job. I suffer from hair loss and she taught me how to style my hair in a beautiful way that covers my shorter patches. She also made the whole experience so fun, and definitely has no issue creating a professional relationship that made my boyfriend and I feel so comfortable. She even checked in on me the day after to make sure I was good with the new hairstyle. 10/10, and Ill DEFINITELY be returning again!!

Love this salon! I was so nervous to try a new salon, but I’m so thankful I did! Tashia completely transformed my awful hair color over the summer and did a beautiful blonde balayage. The color was perfect and has lasted months with minimal bronzing. I returned today to tone down the color, as I prefer a darker color in the winter and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Salon North uses excellent quality products that also smell amazing! Highly recommend.

I used Salon North for my wedding day and I couldn’t have been happier! Jess was super friendly, professional, and a hairstyle-expert!! She did my hair (bridal half up / half down), as well as my 6 bridesmaids’ up-do’s, mother, and mother-in-law. They all picked their own style through Pinterest pictures and Jess made it happen efficiently and exactly how they wanted. She made my wedding morning stress-free, enjoyable and I can’t thank her enough for that :) I felt absolutely gorgeous and she had the special touch that every bride wants. Every one of the girls couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved their up-do and how much they liked Jess! It was secure but didn’t hurt with Bobby pins sticking into the scalp like ones they have gotten in the past. All hairdos lasted all night so we could dance the night away without a worry! Highly recommend!!

Tashia is definitely the friendliest and warmest hairdresser I’ve ever used. My sister recommended me a few months back, but I am just terrible at treating myself. If I had known how fun my experience would be, I would have gone sooner most definitely. I walked in and felt like I was walking into a friends house I haven’t seen in a while. Tashia had her work cut out for her, going from brown hair to platinum blonde, something any other hairdresser I’ve ever had has told me that it will take multiple visits, and I always leave with golden highlights, but NOT with Tashia! She got the job done, and in one visit. I don’t even look like the same person, and I keep having to do a double take every time I walk by a mirror. She accomplished exactly the change I was looking for and gave me my very own COVID hair, and I am LOVING IT! ❤️

First time seeing Kim today. She did a good job as far as my color goes. The appointment was extremely awkward because she did not say more than two words to me the 3 hours I was there. Not sure if that’s how she is or maybe it was a bad day?

I had a hair disaster from another salon. The blonde I wanted, and showed the stylist was an ash blonde. I walked out of that salon with yellow hair, and no dimension. It was an all over color. I went to Salon North to see Lauren to have her correct the color. Lauren was amazing!! She listened to excatly what I wanted and turned my disastrous color into a pretty ash blonde. Lauren Is very talented, and knows her color! If you want a stylist that knows their color, and knows what she is doing I HIGHLY recommend Salon North! Lauren also does my spray tanning! Salon North Is a chic stylish salon. Staff is very friendly to everyone including fur babies evident by doggy beds and watering holes for them while they wait. Terry is a true artist with coloring and always listens and gives advice on how to care for your colored hair to last longer in between visits. Highly recommend Salon North 💯

EYELASH EXTENSIONS - I have been going to see Anjali for many many years now (5 or 6 yrs) and not only is she highly skilled with the eyelash extensions and eyebrow threading and facials- she’s also an amazing person an amazing human- she’ll never leave her clients hanging - she even finds replacement providers when she’s traveling and she’s just a true professional- she has never let me down, she always found time for me or we found a solution- I love her facials and wish I could afford them again - this economy makes it harder but she’s excellent with all that and has a nice quiet room a little removed from the bustle of the main salon which is strictly Anjali’s suite, nicely decorated soothing music/birds and as much as i am a talker she puts me to sleep almost everytime!!! I love her won’t lie

My hairdresser is honest with me and lets me know what will work for my hair and how many appointments it will take me to get there. Its always a good time chatting with the stylists and I feel safe in this clean and taken care of salon.

I went to salon north for the first time to fix my hair and I had a great experience. I had gotten a balayage at another salon and didn’t like how orange it was. I put a toner in it and it darkened my bleached hair rather than just turning it into a ashy blonde (used the wrong toner). I told this to Alinah and she was understanding of the situation and fulfilled my wishes!! I ended up getting a full foil and it was even better than the balayage I had. My hair came out just how I wanted. Alinah was very friendly, nice, and did a great job on my hair! Sadly I’m not from the area but I recommend this salon to anyone who’s looking into going!!! I never get my hair done, this was only my second professional hair dying and I was kinda nervous going in due to being unfamiliar with the salon and process of hair dying but this salon exceeded my expectations.

The owner, Lauren, is such a sweet and welcoming woman. Nicole, is my stylist, is very easy to talk to and an excellent hairdresser. The salon is very elegant and comfortable. I will NEVER go any where else!

Lauren took my hair color to a whole new level. I am blonde which would tend to get a little on the orange side and she fixed it and made sure there was no brassy color. HIGHLY recommend Salon North and Lauren Gamache as a stylist!

This was my first visit and I was eager to get my hair done after 6 months of covid. I showed Tashia several pictures and told her I wanted a longpixie with the hair left longer on the top and sides. At some point I said it was getting too short but she kept trimming.When she finished I wondered why she never offered me a mirror soI could see the back of my hair. The front and sides were shorter thanI would have liked but not bad.When I got home I looked at the back of my hair and was stunned.I could see my scalp and I have thick hair! The longesthair at the top was 1/2 inch and the rest even shorter like a militarybrush cut . I could have done a better job with my dog clippers.

I have visited Lauren twice. She did a gorgeous blonde balayage. The first time I had a few inches of reddish hair I had colored and a bunch of yellow blonde. She blended it all so nicely. The second time she gave me the same thing. Always do the Olaplex! So worth it.

I went in for a balayage with Tayshia and I can tell you that I could not be happier with the end result. Just walking in there you can feel the love for what they do and the comfortable/professional atmosphere all around. I am glad that I came across this salon and I will not go anywhere else. Amazing experience every time.

Ive been seeing Anjali for a long time for threading. She shapes my brows perfectly! I just recently saw her for my first time getting lash extensions. I was hesitant to get them, but now am hooked! My first time at salon North ,so glad I went my hair was very dark from a box color , my stylist was a hair god her name is Tashia , you need your color done or fix’s she is your girl.. can’t wait to go back .

I was a new client and had asked for a layered bob hair. The side I part my hair was cut to 3 inches but the other side is cut to 1.5 inches- so short I can’t get a flat iron or round brush on it. It just sticks straight out. Not a style I hoped for
