Whatever you do, DO NOT sign up for a membership with this company. They cannot hold onto employees and will cancel appointments that have been made months in advance because they have such a high turnover of staff. When you start to accumulate credits, you cannot do anything about it because every time you make a new appointment, they’re 70% of the time, it will get cancelled. Not a huge deal if you have a flexible schedule and can come in whenever but super frustrating for working families and or single parents.If you try to cancel your membership, they give you two months to use all your credits or you lose them. (Which again is ridiculous if they keep cancelling appointments). Also, when I called to cancel due to frustrations with trying to get in for a massage, the manager Samantha told me that I “didn’t come for several months and that’s why I had accrued credits so it was really my fault that I had so many credits to use. My husband had passed away and she had the gall to make a statement like that to a customer. Then she hung up on me. I will never use this company again.
I got my mom a gift card to massage envy and today she had her massage. She said it was the best massage she’s ever had in her life! She was so happy with her massage she asked me to help her write this review because she wants everyone to know if you want to experience the best massage of your life go see Christine she has healing hands and will take good care of you.Thank you to Christine for taking away my moms pain and making her feel special today.
Went there yesterday and had the absolute worst massage Ive ever had, and I get them often (but first time here). She didnt concentrate on the areas I asked her too, her massage technique was so light, I could barely feel it even though I asked to have firm pressure, she didnt massage my head or feet(even though I asked), it was FREEZING cold in the room and when I told her I was cold, she ignored me. In fact, she barely spoke 5 words to me the entire session, even when I talked to her, I never got any response other than *sigh*. Absolutely appalled that an hour massage was $130 and it was as though I never got one at all. To top it off, when I left a tip (which was as fully separate transaction than the fee for the massage itself), there was a few dollars and some change added on, and when I asked what it was for the receptionist said taxes. When I told her there is NO tax in the state of NH, she said, oh, payroll taxes. In other words, they charged ME extra so when the lousy massage therapist files her taxes, Im the one paying her federal tax. I have NEVER in my 58 years of life, living in NH, EVER heard of such a thing (and no, it was not a surcharge for using a credit card). The only reason I went there to begin with, is because I have a back injury and my regular massage therapist at a different salon, is on maternity leave and I was in desperate need of a massage. By the way, my regular massage therapist is absolutely wonderful, listens to my needs, is kind and friendly PLUS an hour massage is a full $50 less than this sad excuse for a business. Ive been a client at my regular salon for 20 plus years (Arcadya) and I HIGHLY recommend them) Plus, you wont be forced to pay an income tax fee. Im still in total disbelief at that and just generally how bad Massage Envy in Manchester, NH is. HORRIBLE!!!
Im trapped with no refund. How can a company refuse to refund you money when no services where rendered. This seems wrong and I would advise everyone to stay clear of their so called contract. Its really a trap where even when you tell them they do not have permission to charge my card they went ahead and did it anyways. When I requested to cancel the services they want me sign that I will not be refunded in order to cancel???!!! The massage therapist were great but I will keep the complaints going until I get all my money back.
Management is insane. Wife has a masseuse who she has followed through a few locations. This is by far the worst place. Her masseuse had a family emergency and couldnt make it into work. Ok no problem things happen... Well my wife goes to the appointment in the morning, totally unaware of the situation and is informed that her Masseuse is not in today. My wife say, ok, no problem I can rebook. Get this... They say no, we sent you an Email last night at 10pm informing you not only that your masseuse wasnt able to make your appointment, but we without your knowledge or consent made you a new appointment with someone who you have never met.... Well she declined the appointment.. So they said they were going to claim that she, who was standing in the office was a no show and they were going to charge her 70 bucks because she didnt cancel with 24 hours notice. Cancel an appointment she was not aware that they made without her consent. WHAT!?!? This is absolutely unacceptable. There was no Email that they claimed they sent. I dont know who reads their Emails after 10 pm and this is nothing short of theft. Stay away from this location.
Absolutely awful management. I have a back injury and can no longer get massages. I have been jumping through hoops to get membership canceled. They owe me a refund for 5 months of charges that I still have not received. I have requested calls from management and district management and have not received them. Not knowing my injury the manager stated that I should disregard my drs orders and that a massage would help my back pain. Clearly not educated on injuries as well. I will continue to fight til I am reimbursed my money for the 5 months. I have provided drs letters and medical info and they are still not processing them. Every time I call conveniently the manager is off, in a meeting or unable to take my call and will call me back. This place is a scam.
Not a place that makes you feel very welcome! Also: very high prices. They will not let you pay for a 30 minute massage and want you to book one full hour at $95.00.Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM Massage Envy! BYW No one really needs a whole hour. Someone who is good and goes right into the problem areas where you are feeling discomfort will give you some great relief in 3minutes timeAn hour massage is actually unnecessary. 30 minutes works well-at half the cost. People don’t have a whole hour With work and they are very unfair at Massage Envy with their restrictive times.Some places book 20 minutes! Look elsewhere!
Don’t even waste your time. I scheduled a couples massage for my boyfriend’s and I anniversary, I asked them not to contact him as it was going to be a surprise and I was reassured he would not be contacted. Then they did contact him to tell him his appointment was cancelled as his therapist quit, ruining the surprise. I called looking to reschedule both appointments, as you can imagine I wanted the COUPLES massage to stay together and I never got notified of an appointment change. I had to leave a voicemail. I called again the next day, voicemail. I called again after one week had passed, voicemail. This time, I threatened to show up at the spa and someone returned my call. I decided to give them another opportunity and rescheduled the couples massage. A few days ago, my boyfriend received ANOTHER text that his new therapist just quit and that his appointment needed to be moved. I have called twice now in the past 24 hours and have left two voicemails that have not been returned. I will have to take the time out of my day tomorrow to go into the spa to get assistance that can easily be handled over the phone. Please save your time and energy by taking your business to a spa who doesn’t have therapist’s dropping like flies.
I cancelled my membership in January 2022 after months of never being able to get an appointment and having the appointments I was able to book cancelled. I had six massage hours let when I decided to cancel my membership and forward with another more organized massage therapist that keeps appointments. I asked Cassie the manage through email to refund my money for the massage I had left on my account (6) because it would be useless to try and use the massages up. I called and emailed her, spoke to staff and asked if she could call me back, and never heard a word. Needless to say I am irate about the complete lack of professionalism and getting ghosted from the manager.I was a longtime member on massage envy for years and loved going there. Now the massage therapists dont give a great massage, staff doesnt really seem to care, and the leadership/management there is horrible! Id suggest finding a better more organized massage therapist that doesnt cancel appointments consistently. This place is a waste of time and steals your money! Just cut me a check for the money I already paid you and let me go on my way, whats the big deal? Im in the process of contacting the franchise owner, corporate, and starting a small claims court case. Theres no need for all of this. Just cut me a check for the money I pain and let me move on with a better company. why does it have to be this complicated!?just give me my money back.
I was scheduled for a 90 min massage and only got a 60. I was still charged for the 90. I was still a bit groggy and didn’t realize it until I had left the parking lot. I called immediately and asked to be reimbursed the difference. I was told this was going to be done immediately because that was big mistake by the masseuse and should have never happened. I’ve called every other day since my appointment to let them know it has not been resolved. I asked for a call back to confirm it’s been resolved and never received a call. I have no issue with the massage. My masseuse still did a fantastic job. I’m just a little annoyed that it’s taken this long for what seems like a simple fix.
The receptionist gave me an online assessment of my body so I could privately tell them what service I needed. They offered a serenity room while I was waiting for my massage therapist. Sharon greeted me and she is very personable and professional. The experience was good. They wanted to rebook me another appointment but I dont know my schedule that far out. I will call in the future.
I enjoy coming here. Definitely call to make an appointment well in advance. It’s hard to get in last minute. All of the masseuses are good, but Jess is my favorite! Focuses in well on tight spots and really cares about her clients.Only giving a four because of scheduling.
I booked an 8:00 am massage for today as it was the only time slot available. I have never been to a massage envy so needless to say I will not be back. I came the 10-15 minutes early as requested in the disclosure just to stand outside the building for a half hour. I can understand that life happens and being late isn’t always someone’s fault however I have never felt more like the problem in the situation. The girl working the counter looked at me said “sorry” and proceeded to let me in the building while who I assume was my massage therapist barreled in behind me. I have never felt more like an inconvenience. I was then asked to sit in a tranquility room while I wait. The girl at the counter opened the door and let it shut behind me. I had no idea if I was even sitting in the correct room. After five minutes I finally got up and went to cancel my appointment as I was feeling anxious and less then relaxed. One of the first things that was said to me was “we won’t charge you for cancelling.” This was the tip of the ice burg. I wouldn’t waste your money coming here. Support a local salon and get better service.
I got a massage 2/28, by Caitlin. I paid for a 90 minute massage, but it was closer to 75 minutes. She started my massage 10 minutes late, left for a bathroom break in the middle, and I was dressed and out the door a few minutes before it was supposed end. Caitlin was friendly, but not very professional. She made comments about my tattoos, my underwear (I have the same underwear as you), etc. Very awkward. Im sure Caitlin is a great massage therapist, but it felt like she was trying to break me. The worst part was that she was clearly sick. All I could hear was her sniffling and breathing through her mouth. Who wants someone who is sick to rub their hands and arms all over your body? Not me. Not worth the price at all.
Today I had a massage with Christine and she was amazing!! The moment I walked in she was welcoming and took time to ask about my needs/wants for the massage. She was kind and caring, and took her time during the massage. I left feeling very relaxed which is just what I needed! She even offered some suggestions for what I could do in between massages to help with the tension I get in my neck and lower back. She was great!!
The cost is outrageous for a mediocre (at best) massage. The manager, Maria, has the worst attitude and customer service skills. I called to cancel my membership, and she told me I should freeze my account so I had the option of reinstating it with the same membership cost within 6 months if I chose to. I agreed, since she kept pushing the issue. Come to find out, this was a shady way for them to automatically start charging my card after 6 months without my permission. Thankfully, I had changed my debit and credit card numbers after cancelling my membership since they have kept my cards on file numerous times after I asked them not to. So now I have been getting phone calls and text messages every day for over a week saying they are having trouble processing my payment. They refuse to cancel my membership until I have paid the overdue amount. Every person I talk to seems surprised when I tell them I was promised a call back from the manager over a week ago. I still havent received a call from the manager, but the automated texts and calls from clueless front desk staff kept coming every day. This place is a joke and needs to be shut down. Save yourself the trouble and find a local massage therapist. I promise you will be much happier when you are paying less for better services.
Been getting massages for years. Christine provided the best Ive ever gotten. A true firm touch - firm without being torturous and read my body well enough without me having to jump in and make suggestions. She checked in occasionally but I required no changes on her part. As an athlete and working man with plenty of fighting muscle, this was much appreciated. Her movements were confident and her techniques purposeful. Best Ive felt in a very long time. Very impressed for a first session with a massage therapist. That level of understanding usually comes after a few sessions, but she clearly has intuition. As an aside about the desk service, it has much improved over the last year. Christine, you rock! Edit/update: add Jessica to the list of top tier therapists. Great experience with her as well. Keep it up, ladies.

These people are crooks. My father was a member until he got hospitalized. I called to cancel his account and they wouldnt let me without him. This was not a task possible for him to complete at that time. I put his account on hold and was still billed AFTER putting it on hold. Obviously someone did not do their job and yet my father is paying for it. Ive tried multiple times to reconcile this, but it is impossible to get in touch with an honest manager.These massages are not worth the hassle. Give your business to an honest company that truly believes in healing.
5 Sharon was great! I feel really good after having a massage from her!I have nothing but great things to say about Sharon. However, the scheduling at Massage Envy has changed since before COVID. Im finding it difficult to make appointments and more challenging to book with a person I want. Is this because of lack of staff???
I have been seeing Heather for facials at Massage Envy Manchester for 19 months. What I love is I dont ever feel like a number. She takes her time to ask questions and to also follow up on previous conversations at the next appointment. She even will hold me accountable to ensure I do certain things that she recommends, to enhance the health of my skin. Heather is a wealth of knowledge regarding skin health, knows just how to customize a facial to my needs and extremely easy to talk to. This past weekend I had started to see a few signs of a past cystic acne outbreak (pre Heather days), she worked on me Friday and within 24-48 hours, I have a clean slate. I am so grateful to have met Heather and the professionalism and quality that Massage Envy offers.
I had my second massage with Perry yesterday evening. He is quite skilled! I dont know how he does it, but I always leave feeling 100 times better! I think its magic! I cant wait to book my next appointment with him once my schedule opens up!!

Tim is the best! I traveled from Nashua to see him. I’m always feeling great when I leave. I do prefer a 90 minute massage tho, today was 60 and still was great. . His pressure is not deep but no matter what wether it’s my neck or back or shoulder that’s bothering me I always feel better. His energy is awesome!!
Id rate Alex 10 stars if I could. Ive had both a facial and microderm infusion with her and left both times feeling so good about myself. she was very professional but equally personable and sweet. I think as you age your skin can become something we are hesitant to let someone look at under bright lights but she talked me through it and made me feel good about how I looked and confident in how I had been taking care of my skin. If youre skipping skin care at Massage Envy- youre missing out!
Been a a member for a long time. Quick service and I havent had a terrible massage. Just need to specify what kind of pressure you like and they will match you. I wish they had more openings so it was easier to get an appointment same day like when I tweak a muscle, but if you schedule ahead of time it works!
All it takes is one employee with a bad attitude to take down the reputation of a good company.Sent my husband to take one of my massage slots after he had started a new job. I verified the the price and treatment the day before. Having not used any of my allowance of my membership for the past 3 months I had saved up a lot of points. However after a nice relax and massage. The front desk associate tried to stick my husband with $142.00 bill. I called to correct the situation and was met with attitude and hostility. Would recommend retraining your associates, especially to consider what customer service truly means.Will be cancelling my membership.
I was hired as a front desk receptionist at the Nashua location about 3 years ago during the winter time. The first three days of training Id be in Manchester with 2 other girls that would be working at the Manchester location. Then I was supposed to return to Nashua for my regular shifts. Lauren, the general manager of Manchester, Nashua & one other location (maybe Salem?) was training us those 3 days. What a complete miserable experience this was! Ive never met someone so rude and unprofessional in my life. It all started in the beginning of the shift I asked to wear my jacket because it was midwinter and the heat was out in the front of the building (it was 60 degrees in the front lobby). Ever since the day was filled with the cold shoulder and lots of eye rolls. We were sent home with a assessment we were supposed to take online using a user name and password. Lauren canceled my account and when I called her for assistance she yelled at me and ended up hanging up. I drove to the Nashua store asking the girls at the front desk for help signing in to my account (not knowing yet that Lauren did this on purpose to set me up for failure.) The girls were very nice and called Lauren to tell her I was there with problems signing in to my account. She was livid and had the girl give me the phone where she was Yelling at me telling me to leave the building... now! she said and not to return to training the following day. I left in tears completely devistated and unaware of why she was treating me so completely inhumane and rotten. To this day I have no clue what I did for Lauren the GM to hate me. I never got paid for my 8 hour shift. My mom was so upset this happened to me and I havent been able to tell anyone else the story till now because how embarrassed I felt. Im thinking of contacting a lawyer for unpaid wages and possibly other charges. I highly recommend never to use this business as I could tell it was very corrupt from the day of my first interview. I remember being told to tell customers who use Groupon we were booked to avoid having to give them service because they werent paying top dollar. I could go on and on... I hope that evil women Lauren got kicked to the curb as well. Talk about unprofessional! Worst. Experience. EVER!
Just had a message here for the first time. Overall a great experience. Both the front desk staff and my message therapist (Jess) were kind, professional, and knowledgeable. The online system made booking an appointment very easy as well. I highly recommended!
They were very professional and the massage was good. I just discovered I was only suppose to be charged an extra 10 not 20 for the rapid tension relief. For me, I wouldn’t do it again as it didn’t provide additional relief. I do like the atmosphere as it was relaxing and their questionnaire was nice as it indicated where to focus
I have been a customer of this massage envy for quite a few years. Ive only seen 2 therapists due to their understanding as to what I need.I moved back from Arizona in June and really needed to see a massage therapist again so called and found out Brian, an amazing therapist, still works there so I made an appointment. I was told that day that if I signed up for a membership the massage I was receiving would be free.... Nope I was charged $45. Than last month (November) another $45 was taken out of my account. I dont make a lot of money so $45 is like $100 to me. Ive called NUMEROUS times and spoke to the manager regarding this. She stated I would be reemburced 2 payments of $45. I have received 1. Ive called numerous times now wondering where my SECOND payment of $45 is and Ive been ignored. She said 7-10 business days... It has now been 14 business days. This is VERY stressful due to the holiday season here and missing $45!! I will be getting reimbursed my money and canceling my membership which is very sad after being a customer and member for so many years.
As I am currently 8 months pregnant I have been looking forward to my prenatal massage scheduled at massage envy which has been booked for almost 2 months now. I took the day off of work just to make it in around their schedule, and only hours before I was scheduled in for my appointment I was canceled on by the facility. I was offered nothing at all to accommodate the extreme disappointment, just the staff basically telling me it is what it is. I can guarantee I will not be wasting my time again booking with them and will not be referring anyone I know to going there.

Sooooooo.... I have still been receiving the wrong massage. This time, I was accused of not booking the right massage by the manager! This is so unprofessional!!!I’ve done here several times before and finally decided to get the membership. I had 2 massages by great therapists. But lately it’s gone downhill. 3 times I’ve called to get and hour and a half hot stone massage, my body doesn’t do well with deep tissue, and when I got into the room it was a different service. 1st time was a one hour deep tissue. The 2nd time I found out it wasn’t the right service before going in so I left. And the 3rd time I was already on the table being worked on when I said, “This is suppose to be a 1.5 hr hot stone and it was an hour and a half deep tissue. I was already on the table and didn’t want the therapist to lose commission on something that wasn’t her fault. I’ve called several times asking to talk with the General Manager but no one has contacted me or said it might take a little bit. I received a call asking for my new payment method but no update on the situation. I’ve spent a good amount of money on services I did not ask for. If I don’t get a call from a GM in a couple days then I will be cancelling my membership and my husbands and bringing our business somewhere else.Update: I’ve left my phone number 3 or 4 times and I still have not heard from the general manager.Another update: Almost a month later I’m still waiting on a call from the General Manager. I’ve called about the issue 7 or 8 times at this point. There was no notes on my account that I needed someone to call me. My name and number was left with Taylor the manager more times than I care to admit. I don’t feel like a valued customer. This has been a very poor experience. They said the GM will be in at 10. So let’s hope they actually call.Yet another update: No call from the GM. When they were in yesterday. This is attempt number 9 to try to get someone to fix the issue. Clearly they don’t want the GM knowing that someone received the wrong service 3 times!!!!!Finally just heard from the GM. Was offered a free hot stone with their best hot stone therapist.
Jess is the best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She is incredible at her craft and I’ve never been disappointed by a session with her.
I have been a member at Massage Envy for several years. I just cancelled my membership because the massages are just average for the most part, there is a high turnover rate of the therapists, the appointments are not always easy or convenient to get. I had a bad experience with a male therapist at this place a year or so ago and since that time have mentioned several times I do not want another male therapist, my last massage they scheduled me with a male therapist that had a name that could go either way (so therapists named Kim, Kelly, Kerry etc. could be male or female and you have no way of knowing) I found out after my facial when I was told HE would be with me in a minute. I wasn’t going to cancel last minute because I was told I would be charged and it was my last massage before I terminated my membership so I went forward with it. The therapist was fine we actually had a pleasant conversation, it was in no way his fault but I would have preferred a female. I mentioned this to the front desk staff and they really didn’t care or offer me any compensation. She said it wasn’t noted in my file that I did not want male therapists, so apparently it was my fault they didn’t update their computer even though I mentioned it several times and was told it had been updated. They have a lot of extra charges and due to the corporate mentality are not willing to work with you with any issues regarding your membership issues. I also cancelled my daughter’s membership and when my son uses all of his sessions he will be dropping them as well.
I’ve had a few sessions with Jessica now and each visit has been exceptional. She’s very professional while being personable and does an excellent job customizing the massage to your needs/areas of concern.
Perry was amazing. He kept me engaged throughout the massage. He was able to ease a lot of my pain and loosen very tight knots I’ve had in my upper back in only one session.
STAY AWAY!!! CHARGING EVEN CANCELED APPOINTMENT!! Supervisor very rude and unprofessional.I am.not a review person ,but I HAD to write one.First of all I am a member for almost 2 years ,paying regular every month $65 and not even using my hours regularly.It happend that I canceled my appointment day before ,telling that I will get back to them in the next couple days to reschedule. And I am still getting a massage next morning that I was charged 100% for NO SHOW and no cancelation.A supervisor is a women from Bosnia who didnt try (as a supervisor ) to do anything.Even if she was the one who called to confirm the appointment and i canceled on it.(Kowin because she talked to me on bosnian because she figured out that my lastname is bosnian,even if that is as, far as I know,against law and very unprofessional.)She made a mistake and didnt do nothing about it .She just passed it to general manager saying that there is no cancelation in the computer and I am waiting now to get a call.This is the second time happening to me at Envy ,charging me FULL AMOUNT even if I canceled on time.Whatever they do I will cancel my membership.They dont understand that will loose me as a costumer and then many more with me. And they should change their supervisor for this location if they dont want to loose more costumers in the future.
This is a nice Massage Envy! Jess was great. The only issue is getting an appointment. Call them and hope for a cancellation. That’s how I got in and I was so grateful as stress is causing havoc on my neck
Ive had massages at many places and I think that my membership at massage envy provides a great value! Elsewhere I have paid more for the one hour massages, which are like other people have said more like 50 minutes due to needing to get undressed, redressed and I feel like that provides me enough time to do so without being rushed. I also like that all the therapists I have seen are able to customize my massage to me and pay excellent attention to the focus areas that I have asked for. The sugar foot scrub, aromatherapy, and deep muscle are excellent additions that allow me to further meet my needs.
My therapist is good and I looked for years in the area. Facial was less than fantastic. Ive had better. *Update my therapist left and I tried 4 others and not impressed. Literally 4 other therapists were not good. Find a better place. Edit * you had 4 chances to turn the experience around . I shouldnt be special because I shared my experience.
I loved it! Stuff was nice, massage was amazing too! Also, I liked that they have $39 introductory rate! I did sign up for a membership, because Im a personal trainer and I need a massage occasionally because my muscles sore after resistance training and firm to deep tissue massage I had was very nice.
Be aware they will absolutely steal you money. After you cancel they will claim to have some sort of issue and keep charging you. Then you will continually be ducked by managers and be left to deal with people who cant refund your money. Ive now been waiting for three days for the general manager to supposedly call me and yet that still hasnt happened. At this point Ill be filing complaints with the state as after 7 months they still refuse to resolve the issue. If I could give no stars I would avoid this place like the plague.
I see Heather for facials. She’s professional, knowledgeable, and I trust her recommendations. She takes the time to explain the different options and what she is doing throughout each session. I’ve always had a great experience at this location!
Back in 2018 I purchase a 1 year package for a friend/family as a gift. Paid $799 for that package under their name. A gift is a gift, not a life time gift. Message Envy knew this package was a gift. In 2019 I noticed my credit card had been charged for an additional 8 months of service that I never used because I dont usually get messages. I did not notice these charges because I pay all my credit cards to 0 monthly. I call my credit card company and had them blocked. Then I called the store and eventually spoke with the manager at that time. She stated that because of the amount I had been charged she would have to go through HQ or Corp office to have a refund issued. In the mean time I could come to the store and try out a message on the house, and then if I did not want to proceed, she would have my refund issued. I did what she said, but never received the refund. So at this point I decided to write the experience off as a loss. Well, yesterday I received a message from Message Envy, that they were having trouble running my credit card. Confused, well so was I!! I immediately called the store and asked why they were trying to charge my credit card? They responded that my 8 months had expired, (even though I never had used because I had thought they were going to refund the 8 months) even though I never used anything except that one complimentary massage that they had offered in order to try to fix the issue. So later in the day the new manager called me and she told me she was the new manager, and that manager I had spoken with was no longer with them. So she could only tell me what Message Envys policies were. So the only to choices I had were to sign a cancellation, in which case that 8 months of payments would be lost, or I could continue with payments in which case I would still have those 8 months as well as 4 remaining to be used before and of year. I told her I never wanted this in first place, and I certainly would never sign anything with them. I also asked her what person ever gives someone a life time gift that will continue to charge the gift giver forever. Especially if they knew it was a gift in which they did, and it was not for me. Additionally, all I ever wanted was to buy a single gift, thats why I paid originally the total annual amount at once. This place has some of the most deceptive practices in order to keep charging people monthly whether or not they have authorized. Most people do not come into a place to buy a gift with an attorney so how would anyone know or even think that a company is going to do business the way they are? This place is awful! They practice a bait and switch approach and all they care about is taking a persons money without providing a service. I guess is how they keep the doors open especially during this covid 19 period. (The 8 months they say I never used, well 2-3 of those were in our countrys closed down period). That alone show that they are incapable of doing math correctly! This place is one of the best examples of a business acting like they have a license to steal. They are a business that is wrap for a class action lawsuit. Never use this business! They are awful! Please anyone who reads this, please take the time to write your negative reviews over their money stealing, and deceptive practices!! This information can be used to sue this company in class action lawsuits. I will continue to do everything I can to bring more spot light on this business. If they wish to steal from unsuspecting customers then possibly we can stop this from occurring to others!
I have had nothing but great massages here! Staff is knowledgeable and seem to really care about you. Membership is reasonably priced and Im willing to pay 65$ a month for the excellent customer service and amazing pain relief Ive had. Well done Massage Envy!
After many years I had a male massage therapist and had a great experience with Jefferson. He used the exact amount of pressure at the points needed and used the massage time wisely. I can strongly recommend him to anyone.
Sharon does a great job as a massage therapist. She makes sure you are comfortable throughout the session and puts effort into her work.
This was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend and I had a great couples massage. they really took attention to detail with us. The atmosphere was just right, the music was just right, and the lighting was perfect for what we needed. I would definitely come back here again. And I think everyone here was very friendly.
The hour long massages are really only about 45 min. I have the membership (which i ended up canceling) They were usually 5 min behind schedule. You got into the room they told you to undress to your comfort and they would give you about another 5-10 min to get situated. They end the massage at 5 or 10 of to give you time to get dressed so you can be paid and out the door by the time your massage should have ended. They push product on you like nobodys business when you try to checkout. The few times i was able to make it I only had one person I really liked. The others were way too chatty. Yes its less expensive because you are being massaged for less time. I would take your money elsewhere, pay a little more to get a better quallity massage.
Toni was my Therapist for this visit. Toni is an excellent therapist and did an amazing job! She focused on my specific needs and helped with areas in discomfort, some I didnt know existed!

TL;DR - They double charged me and have not given me my money back yet and it has been 5 days...My wife and I were gifted some massage time at Massage Envy. This is a real treat for us as it is not something we normally do for ourselves. We both enjoyed our massages and felt like the masseuses were very professional and did good work.However, when we were leaving naturally we gave them gratuity. I charged it on one of my cards. We got a call about an hour later saying the charge didnt go through. I thought this was odd but no matter i gave them another card and they charged it. Naturally after the call i looked at my balance on my original card and not only was there plenty of money on the card but there was the charge as well! I checked the second card and sure enough both cards had been charged. I tend to give people the benefit of doubt so i assumed a mistake had been made.I called them back and said they had charged me twice. The receptionist said oh the first charge did go through? i said yes and i need you to refund the 2nd charge. She said she couldnt do it without her managers authorization. I asked for the manager and was told that she would not be in till monday and that she would have the manager call us on monday. Monday came i got no phone call, so i called again, They said they were working on it and would call me back. They never call me back so i again called them and they told me the manager was not in and would be in on tuesday. Now i am frustrated. You cannot give your employees the ability to charge customers and not give them the ability to fix their mistakes. They said the manager would call us on tuesday to remedy this. Never got a call on Tuesday. I called them again and they said they had refunded me the money tuesday morning. They have not. I still have 2 charges on my cards and no refund. I am going to call them again and try to get this resolved but i may have to go back to the store in person to fix this. This is ridiculous. I would not recommend this place at all at least as far as their customer service is concerned. They are terrible!
While the message therapist I saw was amazing.. the membership policy is a rip off..... You have to give a 30 Written notice to cancel your membership.... The so called military discount is hardly worth it. Not to mention you dont get the best service when you ask about canceling you membership. Needless to say Im canceling mine and would not recommend going there.

Very negative experience. I joined as a member and cancelled my membership several years ago. I continued to be charged 59.99 monthly for several years! I have since contacted Massage Envy and my banking institution to no avail. The bank does not offer paper records anymore, so shame on me for not going online to see. But shame on Massage Envy for charging for months of services running into years without notifying the client. This too, after I cancelled any contract with them. Jess listened to me when I advised her that I had lupus and she focused on a specific massage that would treat that an I couldn’t be happier. I would definitely be going back and recommend her to anyone.
Im all done with Manchester after years of membership. The last straw was when they called the police over a $23 dispute. I still have 60 days to use probably 8-10 massages but I go there to relax not get agitated. My financial loss at this point since I wont be going back there again.
Massage envy is the biggest rip off and hides things that go on there . Like people exposing themselves which a employee told me and after canceling they still charge me . When they were closed due to the pandemic they charge me for months. Im going to get a lawyer and go down today to see why they want to do this to there customers. Lets see what they report to the police and what they dont with a former employee to verify or talk to my friends at wmur with a former employee telling all the filthy things they hide

Great facility. Clean, efficient, and friendly! I came in to get my neck fixed and walked out with exactly that. They try to sell you a membership but are very respectful if you dont want one. Highly recommend.

Is this a scam! The manager is unprofessional. My contract ended and I emailed in the cancellation notice form as requested and it was acknowledged. Its been a week still waiting for request to be completed and I keep getting voicemails from front desk with incorrect info. Poor customer service.

Used to go here 3 times a months But they have changed . The staff changes offered and then you get used to someone tbey are gone. Prices are ok . The staff are right out of school so be prepared for newbies to the business.
