The staff was absolutely amazing and very unique with the services! I came in with my nose clogged and stuffy , a headache, and a right shoulder pain - so she did a peppermint steamer and OH MY GOD .... This should be a household trend and norm! It was so relaxing and I felt balanced , calm, refreshed, and emotionally centered. The peppermint and heredoing massage to my neck instantly got rid of the my pain! And then my shoulder: its been hurting for 3 weeks - she did foot reflexology and did something to my toe.... And MOVED my shoulder pain! This joy hearted young lady fixed my ever issue by the time I left. I ended up going to one of the mini group alternative healing class on anxiety/ depression & stress prevention... That hour LITERALLY left us with like a years schooling of information ! I felt like I had new friends and spiritual family when I left - her teachings were accurate- and the setting and mini event was absolutely one of a kind - spiritually unique, cozy, supportive and heart felt! This place may go down in history to begin like this! It was life changing interacting with this business and its founder.
GROUPON BUYERS BEWARE!I do not usually write reviews, even if I have a bad experience somewhere, but I felt really compelled to share my experience with this business.I was looking for a massage on Groupon when I ran across this place. All of the photos on the Groupon site looked very welcoming and it appeared to have great reviews. I also love anything holistic or natural so I was sold! I immediately purchased and called them to make my appointment. After booking the appointment, I received a text from their staff to confirm my appointment and noticed that the address was different than the one on Groupon. I called the company and they said that it was their new location and confirmed that’s where my massage would be. I was thinking no big deal – it will still be fabulous. WRONG!I get to the Windy Hill location and I am slightly confused because it is clearly an office/medical building with offices verses the spa looking pictures that are posted on the Groupon. I realize this is not strictly a “spa” per se, but the pictures on their Groupon do look similar to most spas that I have been to. This still was not a deal breaker, so I walked on in! As I make my way to the third floor and find their suite, I am greeted by a very frazzled woman who acted as if she didn’t know I was coming. I was asked to wait outside in the hallway for a few minutes. I was not called back in until 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and I had arrived 15 minutes early in anticipation of filling out the typical paperwork that most places make you fill out as a new client. There was no one ahead of me or in the space so I was starting to get a little frustrated at that point but was still looking forward to my relaxing massage. As I walk in, I realize that this place looks absolutely nothing like the Groupon pictures and it is actually kind of scary in there. It was also extremely hot, as if the A/C had not been working. In the “massage room” there are two massage tables, two chairs, a dresser with a mirror, something similar looking to two twin mattresses propped up in the corner, and a MOON PIE box filled with batteries sitting on top of the dresser. Also, on the massage tables are what appear to be gold Christmas charger plates with cheap plastic mixing bowls sitting on top of them. The plastic mixing bowls are for the “steam treatment” that they do prior to the massage. As I made my way into the massage room, I was informed that they did not have any paperwork for me to fill out because they had not had a chance to go print more off at Kinkos. I literally laughed because I thought that had to be a joke. NOPE! I ended up just leaving because I could not believe what I had gotten myself into and was not about to let ANYONE perform a service on me that did not provide the proper paperwork/medical questionnaire! It was really quite the interesting experience from start to finish.I cannot speak to the Barrett Pwky location, but avoid the Windy Hill location at all costs!
Please stay away from this place for massages, I had the worst experience with this location. the new windy hill location looks very suspect and weird. The owner responded to the message with false information. I will not go back and forth with the owner. However I called the number on the groupon and they told me to go to the windy hill location. I could go further and post all the messages from the conversation but I will not do that.
