Elements Massage

I have been coming here regularly to help relax and alleviate my stress, and I really have seen an improvement in my mood and body. Everyone is very friendly and understanding. What started out as just a few visits has resulted in me happily signing up for a membership.

I appreciate that when I asked for a deep tissue massage, the reception made sure to place me with a massage therapist that would be able to do that. She wanted me to be satisfied with the service I would receive. I also love that my massage therapist, Eddie, is very attentive and gentle while also getting the job done. I left feeling so much better and I will definitely want to consult with him again.

I had initially tried this place because I received a gift card and was happy with my service from Xochitl the first time, so I re-booked. Staff was terribly unprofessional today with little regard for my time. I arrived early to my massage. While waiting one receptionist says to another I hope she shows up on time, and after waiting for 10 minutes I was informed that my therapist had actually called in sick and there was no other availabilities for the day. The right thing to do would have been to call all clients on the schedule for the day to cancel and/or reschedule as soon as she called in. I wasted an hour of my time getting to and from the location without having my service done and without anyone offering to make it right. I recommend eternal wellness or another local massage therapy spot instead of this chain. Seems as if the employees here have little work ethic and poor time management skills, as they are notorious for calling in sick or running late, as this happened to another client when I went in the first time as well.

Firstly, I would like to say my therapist was great and did a good job. I have just finished with my appointment as a new client. During the last 15mins of the appointment, it was ruined by very loud banging and construction next to my room. No fault of my therapist, and I appreciated her apology, but this is a clear lack of respect for the client by the owners. If I had known there would be construction, I would have simply rescheduled. As well the constant chattering outside the door makes it difficult to relax. Cant say it was a great experience.

If you have small children, dont come here. We had a situation come up about 45 minutes before my wifes massage. Our little girl was throwing up at daycare, my wife, momma bear as she is, goes with me to pick up our little girl. We get home and as Im driving to HEB to get some medicine for our baby I call to reschedule. I was told no. You need a 24 hour notice, which I understand, but this was not a regular situation. Any parent with little kids knows it hard to make plans. When our kids need us, we are there. I lost the $ for the massage, but I learned why not to go back.

If you get the lady beatris leave she will just rub oil on you like you are marinated chicken and procede to just rub the oil in. My back feels worse just being teased for an hour for the price Id rather go roll around rocks to actually feel something. She asked me specifically where I needed help and did nothing to those areas. Then was pushy with a tip worst experience iv ever had. I want to go home and kick my dog just to feel something.

I was very disappointed with these business practices. They have been charging my account unbeknownst to me after asking for my account to be cancelled. When explained that it was done without letting me know I said I would like that money refunded and that it wouldn’t be possible. I think this is extremely predatory business practices. I was not happy with the services as well. The massages are extremely inconsistent and that’s the reason I didn’t want to continue services. The way in which they handled my account was just the cherry on top.

First time going to a professional massage and left this place feeling annoyed and frustrated. I booked 2 massages weeks ahead of time because that was the only time they had 2 females available to massage me and my gf. The massages were part of some gifts I was getting my girl for our anniversary. Showed up to apt to be told that I had to re do my paperwork and that we were getting massaged by a male and female. This was frustrating as I made it clear I was not comfortable with a male massaging either of us. The clerk made comments to imply I should be okay with a man massaging me. One clerk was completely unprofessional and offered no help. The other offered to rebook an hour later with two females. I accepted reluctantly, as i was dissatisfied with their customer service. As we walked out the door the two clerks exchanged some words in hushed tones and laughed out loud. There was no one else in the lobby. Im fairly certain they were making jest at me and how frustrated I was. (I was mildly and politely frustrated) This was supposed to be special for my girlfriend. Dont wana give them my business now. I canceled the rescheduled appt.

Did not enjoy my massage what so ever. Felt like all my massage therapist did was rub oil on me and tuck in the sheets and blankets wayyyy too many times during the massage. I had to ask to raise my head brace on the bed maybe 10 minutes after she has lowered it at one point. Half way through the massage she finally put an fusion under my ankles/feet so that I’d be comfortable. I enjoy my plug in massager at home 100 times more than what I experienced today. I couldn’t believe it. No pressure what so ever. I asked in the beginning if she could do deep tissue and she said no she had surgery because of doing deep tissue. I said well maybe we can at least find a good pressure and that was not even applied. Unreal.

Much like other 1 star reviews this place leaves much to be desired had a membership here for months but had no chance to use the accrewed massages i canceled the monthly payments and was told i had 6 prepaid massages i went to use one today only to find out they are no longer valid and were only good for so many days after i asked them to stop charging my account

The therapists are sweet, attentive and accommodating during the sessions. The therapists will survey your needs at the start of the session and adjust the intensity of the massage during the session, if needed. The relaxing music they play in the session gets you quickly at ease!

Changed our appointment without letting us know. We tried to reschedule 2 weeks out for a couples massage and they have no times available. They used to be good, but not any more.

This place was a great find when we moved down here. Ive heard good things about a few people here but I personally enjoy Blanca. She is absolutely amazing! I feel so relaxed and comfortably stretched out after she works on my back. I like medium to firm pressure and my husband likes deep and she does fantastic with both.

My session was great. He really worked out a lot of knots that I never thought I had.

I cancelled my membership in November and they charged me by mistake in december. I was fine with it since I could still use it, but I talked it over with the front desk staff they said my membership is officially cancelled. It is now January 2024, I am out of state, and they are STILL CHARGING ME for the membership. Please avoid this place if possible, the cost is not worth the massage. Go to your local masseur, or Footy Rooty they do a much better job anyway.

This review is specifically about the girl (I didn’t get her name) who booked my appt.To begin with she was not pleasant or eager to assist me. She asked for my CC number without telling me why she needed it. She assured me that I would be seen by someone who would be able to do the type of massage I required.I show up to my appointment and I wait patiently. The masseuse brought me back and when I asked if she was ok doing the massage I required she said she doesn’t do those types of massages.So I sat in 5 o’clock traffic, waited patiently for something I needed to get done today, only to find out I wouldn’t be receiving that treatment. I won’t speak on anything else this business has to offer but I will say that after this interaction I’m not interested in finding out if this business can redeem themselves.

If I could give no stars I would. Not only was my massage therapist late I had booked 90 minutes and I didn’t even get the 60 minutes done and they still charged the 90 minutes. What a joke. Mind you the therapist was nice lady and all but I booked and got charged for a service which was not provided to the fullest.

Very clean, professional, relaxing experience. I have seen several therapists, theyre all good. Recently, Chris has been available to see me and its great because he remembers area worked and offers continued treatment of muscle groups.

Great staff, professional and attentive to details, I explained what area i needed and they understood everything i said.

I often go to elements massage north 10 mcallen texas and i should say most of the therapist there before were good thats why i kept coming back. But today, i had the worst massage. Dora was my therapist today and she raised the blanket very high up to her face without even notifying me and left me very exposed. She didnt even say a word or a warning prior to raising the blanket very openly and didnt even tell me I needed to be on prone position or to face down. I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected. Moreover the way she massaged me was done so poorly. I couldnt even feel any pressure or relief the whole time. I requested for her to put a little pressure or make it stronger but nothing change. This was the worst massage I have ever experienced!Never coming back!

I hate leaving bad reviews but this is the worst elements massage I have had to deal with. I signed up for their wellness program and set up my first appointment. Since then I have been canceled on 3 times for various reasons and I havent even received my first service. Im tired of the phone calls to cancel my appointment, never again.

Booked a 90 minute massage for some deep shoulder knots. I got 60 minutes and they ignored the shoulder even after point blank telling the guy 3x to work the shoulder more. Dont think he spoke English cause he just kept saying you good?, then proceeded to ignore the knots and slapped some ben gay on it without checking with me first right at the end. Total waste of time and money.

Everyone is always so nice and knowledgeable. I have a lot of medical issues so I get massages every other week if I can because it helps with my pain and range of motion. I have been a member since they basically opened and Ive never had a bad experience. Stephanie in front is the best and my go to missuses are Maira, Amanda, Jessica, and Xochlit. Thank you for all you do!

I am so disappointed, if I could put 0/5 I would…. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a couple’s massage “deep tissue”. First of all, my massage therapist said her arm was broken or something and she couldn’t do deep tissue… as she was RUBBING lotion on my body all I could think was; this is a joke right. There was no pressure applied to any point throughout my body. She literally just RUBBED lotion on my body and called it a day. I was so tense throughout the whole thing I couldn’t even relax thinking omg this is what I’m paying for??!! My boyfriend had the same exact experience and we both left so distraught and probably even more stressed than when we got there. Do not waste your precious time or money. It was $70/person 🤦🏽

“I will never go to this place of business, and I will ensure to let people know not to go as well. I understand a no refund policy, however when I booked this the day before it was less than 24 hours for the appointment. I intended to be there to celebrate our anniversary with my husband with a couples massage, however our autistic son got sick Thursday night and wasnt getting better so this required us to take him to Rio Grande Regional hospital.I contacted the location Friday morning to explain our situation. I was told by the receptionist this didnt matter, the policy was to be upheld. I requested to speak to a manager, someone called but I had nurses coming in to speak to me so I missed the call. I called back within 30 minutes, never spoke to the manager, only the receptionist. She heard me explain the situation, and I could hear someone in the background saying they were to still charge me.Again, as a business owner, I understand policies, however when you have a dire situation where you have a customer calling to either move the date of massage and cancelling for that day. Its imperative to also understand the customer and empathize with them. This shouldve been a situation where the cancellation policy of charging shouldnt have happened. It was an emergency! It wasnt a cancellation due to not wanting to go.This place lacks empathy, understanding, compassion, and are unprofessional.”

Blancas presence on your team is priceless. Shes the sole reason I decided to become a member. Even though I had been attending for years, once I experienced Blancas work, I was convinced to join.

It is my pleasure to recommend Elements Massage. The staff is friendly and professional and made me feel welcomed. The massage felt totally professional and I was comfortable at all times. My body felt better for it and I would again recommend coming here.

Robbed us of over $80. Originally scheduled a massage and we were canceled literally the same morning by our massage therapist so I rescheduled on a work day, not really ideal for my line of work, but I was really needing it. Well, on that second appointment, I had to cancel because I had a healthcare worker related emergency. They said since it was an emergency, I wouldn’t be charged. However, we noticed a few days later that a charge was placed. We tried talking to the manager but they never got a hold of us, we however let it go. Attempted to schedule a third time, and again our massage therapist canceled on us last minute that same morning. We demanded a refund for the charge we had for no show since this was the second time THEY canceled on us. Again, the manager never got back to us. They clearly didn’t want our business, message therapist couldn’t be available for us, and management didn’t feel the need to work with us. Thank you for rejecting us multiple times.

Professional and clean. Very responsive to customers needs or concerns. The atmosphere is relaxing without being cliche. This is definitely my go to massage spa. Beatriz, my therapist, is a rock star! Shes a great masseuse, but her scope of knowledge goes far beyond. Shes dedicated to her customers well being.

I am in shock by these reviews, I have been wanting to go here FOREVER! I currently go to a different massage company & I am pleased but I wanted to try something different. BUT after reading these reviews I’m like HECK NO. I know I have not attended myself yet but this just goes to show how reviews MATTER. Now my husband and I will not be taking our money here. I went there once and once only and will never be going back. When I got to the appointment the receptionist told me we were “running late” when I showed up 10 min before my appt. I received a text earlier that day saying my appointment was at 7:30. We didn’t even get the full hour massage, and they charged me more than I was supposed to pay. I spoke with the manager the next day and she said she was going to review the cameras and get back to me around 3 pm. I receive another charge on my account 10 minutes later, I give them a call and she said “we reimbursed you what we charged you yesterday but we still need to charge you for the hour” even though I DIDNT get the full hour. I asked if she checked the cameras, she said no when she reviewed them again she saw my appointment was cut short. She said my appointment was at 7:15 and said it was a mistake on the receptionist. I still got charged for the full hour (that I didn’t even receive) the manager offered us a free hour massage but our experience was so bad we didn’t even want to return. Do not spend your money here. The only reason I gave it a star is bc the massage therapist Beatriz was amazing.

I had been a very loyal customer for almost 8 years.I’m a healthcare worker so atTimes we get pushed back at the office due to patient flow during flu andCovid waves. Even through the pandemic and They were closed I was loyal and every month they would chargeMy card because hey I knew we were all struggling financially thru the pandemic and employees still needed their jobs hence why I never stopped my membership and had them build up. Well today I ask the receptionist which btw needs more customer service training and was told that I couldn’t reschedule and they would charge my visit. In my 8 years with them I never rescheduled. But I was already frustrated with the front staff and they had no manager in site for me to speak. I told them I would wait for her but was told she as not coming to wait for a call from her. I cancelled my membership.Read the fine print!!!! They make you do all your sessions in 1 month. Having a busy schedule and them themselves having a booked schedule makes it hard to schedule all 6 sessions in 1 month. As I am voicing my concerns the receptionist just has a smile on her face and finds no solutions. So yes the loyalty is not there. Even when they overcharge my credit card used my credit card to charge someone else’s tip and I caught it and showed it to them - but there I was still loyal because therapist are good. But enough is enough. Just make sure check bank statements monthly if you have a membership.

I got a massage there yesterday (first time), and I was considering a membership but my upper arms hurt so much from the massage that with a simple touch, pat or brush on the arms is already too painful. I’ve been to different massage parlors and never had this reaction the day after, it is a horrible pain. And I saw a lot of people go in with memberships so I guess they’re doing something right, not sure why my experience was so bad but the massage did much more bad than good. The staff was nice and the ambience was calm, but the massage felt so rushed and my arms were hurt in the process. I can’t receive hugs people.

I had a very helpful experience the other day I was there. Unfortunately my appointment was canceled somehow (scheduled via mind body app), the manager (i assume, she was called from the side office) was very helpful in making sure I got my appointment and the 90 mins i had previously requested. Maira was great! I made sure I scheduled for the next couple of weeks.

It feels so relaxing the minute you walk in the door. The atmosphere feels fresh and clean and refreshing. The employees are very polite and attentive. I was not sure I would like this kind of experience since I had never done this before. Leslie made me feel very comfortable. I look forward to another session to her. Thank you for making my Saturday so relaxing!

I highly recommend not booking at this massage location and going to book at Massage Envy instead.During the holidays this company and it’s manager was willing to push an older man to the side even after the service fee was paid.My father is a 60 yr old man who works as a janitor 14 hr days on his feet. As a gift he asked to come to this massage place as it’s closest to his house. He was unable to make it to his appt because of his ride and was unaware he had to call in. After a looooong and arduous talk with the manager she extended the massage booking. When we called back again in December when he had actual time off the receptionist said verbally stated she’d extend the date. The manager called back later and said they could not.I work at a corporate office and even after working with standard procedures with over 30,000 ppl there is always ways to over ride.This company and it’s manager doesn’t take the customer care approach only the service fee exchange.Every other massage place lets you book when you hav time as it’s for personal care and personal care is done in personal time. NOT AT THIS PLACE. You only have a 14 day window period.If you are wanting to give a gift to someone who works hard and barely makes time for themselves DO NOT BOOK HERE, more than likely they will not be able to situate their schedule in the time frame that the company requires.

Receptionists would benefit from phone etiquette and communication/social skills training. Environment is relaxing and calm, and doesnt overwhelm with diffused oil scents. Massage therapists Ive had have both been good, though neither performed a complete session, being about 10 min. short.Of youve booked your session online,make sure to reiterate what kind of massage youd like. I got a gentle almost wispy massage which, though relaxing, was not the deep tissue I needed and signed up for. This place books quickly and for days, so plan ahead.

Horrible customer service. I called yesterday to set up an appointment for my husband and I. I made sure the appointment was confirmed with the receptionist named Isis. I get here and only my husband is noted down for the appointment, not me. I drove 40 minutes to an unwind and relax. How horrible is this. Of course they ask if I wanted to reschedule. I asked to speak to a manager and she would not be available until Tuesday. Well isnt that convenient. Needless to say I cancelled my membership. Very very disappointed. Especially being an essential worker I was really needing this massage.

Highly recommended. Felt completely relaxed after and during. Overall great experience. Front office staff was courteous and friendly. Couples massage was worth the experience and we felt complete serenity. Would book again, soon.

Amazing customer service. Therapist are great and know what they are doing. You have a choice of several therapist and each have their own technique to aquire what you need.I have been with Elements for about three years and I have been happy with their services.

I got an appointment the very next day after I called to book one. The receptionist was very cordial and answered all my questions. I got the name of the therapist, but when I arrived for the appointment it was another female therapist which was fine. The 90 minute Swedish was excellent and a big relief for me. I also bought a monthly pass, for a reasonable price, which will be definitely used.

We went today for the first time for a couples massage, and I recommend! I had never received a professional massage before but the environment was great, I felt at peace, calm, and relaxed. I really enjoyed the massage I received and would definitely go again.

Booked a massage with Beatriz and it was absolutely amazing. My first time getting a massage and it was magical. Hope to return again soon.

Very professional, calm atmosphere, and very comfortable. My massage was great! Very relaxing especially after daily workouts! Im from Austin and was in town for my mothers bday. All three of us loved it! Thanks for the soothing experience :)

I got there 10 minutes early like I was asked to so that I can fill out some forms since it was my first time being there. I was called in a few minutes after my appointment time then she started my massage 10 minutes after my appointment time and was done 10 minutes before my hour was up. All together my massage lasted 40 minutes. When the therapist told me that we were all done I replied that was fast, then I looked over to the clock and noticed that she covered it with the towel that she was using to wipe off the oil from my arms and legs. Thats when I realized that she didnt massage me for an hour. I removed the towel from the clock and noticed that I still had 10 minutes left. So she started 10 minutes late and finished 10 minutes early. This was my first massage ever and I was disappointed.

Nice, relaxing massage from Brenda. Service was great. However, as a pregnant woman, it would have been nice to have a chair designed specifically for women versus lying down getting the massage.

Dianne is the most comprehensive massage therapist I ever had. My last session was with Refresh aromatherapy and I literally felt like a brand new person after our session. I am so fortunate that I found Elements since retiring in the Valley. Superb customer service at the front counter as well!

I wish I could rate it negative infirmity stars!!! They took money from me!! 59 dollars then!!!they took another 59 dollars!!!! Money I worked hard for and the appointment I didn’t even make!!!! They made me an appointment I couldn’t go to and then charged me a late fee for that!!!! They are really actually scammers and I fear and pray for anyone that goes here I will tell everyone I know about how awful this place is and how it will literally steal money from you and never give it back or do anything!!!

I walked in feeling a high level of back pain that I had been dealing with for about two weeks. I had to already seen two doctors and was going to physical therapy. A friend gave me a 2 hours massage as a gift. I walked out feeling like a new person. I highly recommend this place.

Very friendly customer service, called and got same day appointment with Lino. Made me feel very comfortable, very happy with massage. First time with male therapist, highly recommended, very professional and great communication on pressure, happy customer.

There were many aspects to yall that I liked from the:1. professionalism from the onset of my inquiries to getting a massage 2. the atmosphere in the lobby 3. the cleanliness of the hallway and rooms&bed sheets 4. the attention given to identify what kind/location of muscles to focus on by my therapist 5. the genuine, authentic conversation I had with my therapist during the massage 6. was offered a bottle of water, mint, time to collect myself after the massage 7. WAITING for me by my door as I exited, and inviting me back 8. easy sign up for the membership and explanation of perks/upgrades. I will be back!

My favorite place in town for a full body massage, if you’re trying to relax or release some tension, this is the right place to be at. Their pricing and management is exceptional, I greatly recommend to my peers in the medical field. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+

As you walk the atmosphere is very positive and inviting. I have had a Great Experience every time I have visited the facility. Noel is a great masseuse and very informative on the various techniques he uses. Thank you Elements keep up the Excellent Job. Again Great staff & Mood Setting.

My husband bought me a 90 min massage here and my appointment was on a Sunday at 5:30. I get there sign in and wait. Well my appt didn’t start until 10 min after and then another 5 min went by the time the therapist began. The massage itself was fine. I asked for deep tissue on my shoulder and she provided just that. I also mentioned my other problem area was my feet and I guess she was tired by the end of the massage because my feet were not given much attention to. When she’s done I think it will be after 7 since she started on me late. Nope. It was like 7:50. So about 25 min was shaved off my massage even tho my husband paid for 90. I go to the front desk and let the receptionists know and was told “oh well you don’t have to pay right now....” uhmmm my husband paid for 90 min , it was already paid for. Following this comment she told me “Well he paid for a Groupon.” My husband had paid for the introduction rate which is $90. I’m not sure what the receptionist was trying to get across to me with these comments but it felt patronizing. I was told a manager would call me to address this issue. No call. We called twice and left messages. Still no call back. Overall impression : massage was decent but customer service was lacking. Wouldn’t recommend.

Second time coming and twice have they messed up. Both times have I ask for couples massage way in advance and they call to confirm the day before but when we get there they say that couples room is going to used by a member. I am not a member. This time after saying that we were not going to change this time they finally agreed for us to use the couples room. The one star is for the establishment not the massage therapists. They were both great, I just couldnt enjoy it at first. To upset.

All of the staff was friendly and professional. While getting my massage I was made to feel extremely comfortable and I will definitely be returning soon.

The atmosphere was wonderful from the time I stepped in the door. the furnishings were welcoming when I sat down. It was quiet and peaceful... the waterfall in the lobby area was soothing. The rooms were inviting.... the massage table was heated! I loved that... (the only part that I was not a fan of was the hot towel... I am a weinie and that towel was hot!) Everything other than that was amazing! thank you.

I was so impressed with your services and staff! I had never been to you all for any treatment but because I had pain between my shoulder blade and spine, I decided your Trigger Point massage was what I needed. I called and got an appointment and when I got there I was treated by Kevin. He was fantastic! He found at least 4 knots that he carefully and methodically worked out and what a world of difference! He also gave me very useful and helpful post-treatment steps to take such as a hot shower when I got home and then ice packs for about 10 minutes three times a day for several days. I followed his advice, and Im still following it, and its working. And if I ever have to go back, Ill definitely do so and ask for Kevin!

Easy to book, no lost time, great masseuse. Other locations have wasted 10-15 minutes on a mundane consultation that repeated questions already answered in the intake forms. You dont do that, and its much appreciated!

I’m just visiting for about a month but thankful I chose to get a full body massage by JR. He has the necessary strength to REALLY do deep tissue massage. He also employs several techniques that I haven’t experienced before. Great job!

The only reason Im giving 5 stars is because of two massage therapists that never disappoint which are Pete and Eddie. I have had my fair share of mixed experiences here but these two gentlemen know what theyre doing. Theyre both professional and well educated in there profession.

I only set the appointment for my boyfriend to get a massage and thought I might as well get one too. Im not a massage person, but didnt want to wait the whole hour doing nothing. Well, I got called in first and my boyfriend NEVER got his massage because his therapist was a no show. All the staff could say was sorry. This place wasted our time and we didnt even get what we came for. Ruined our only day off.

The staff was friendly upon entering. My massage therapist made me feel comfortable and took note of exactly what I was needing during the massage. Overall, great value!

Not the greatest experience. The first time I was here I got hassled for having a Groupon. I did end up getting the membership (since I live nearby), but I had way too much trouble trying to cancel the membership.I got charged twice after cancelling. I talked to their corporate office and seemed to get nowhere. I finally got results talking to my bank. The therapists are fairly good, but I have noticed that they get overbooked because sometimes my session was finished early, even though I showed up on time. This place is maybe a small step above Massage Envy, but it offers all the same hassles.

Have had great massages here. One masseuse hurt my wife, she was in tears on the ride home. Manager apologized and they got her a complimentary massage to make things right. There was some miscommunication but in the end they made it right. Would be five starts except for that one experience. Will be going back though.

I was passing by McAllen and my hubby got me the massage since was always ! The experience there was really a professional one. The place was clean and atmosphere was very relaxing. The massage was amazing (90 mins swedish) and the masseuse Jessica is a pro and would def go back there whenever im in the valley again!

Had an upper body focused massage at McAllen’s 10th St. location with Xotchil & I haven’t felt this rested in so long! Masseuses are ready at your exact appointment time so make sure to get there on time and earlier if it’s your first time to fill out paperwork, this way you maximize massage time and don’t miss a minute of it. Highly recommend!

Might just be the worst massage my husband and I have ever had. They put a ton of lotion on you, rub it in, then wipe it off, and move on to the next section of the body. I went in with a stiff neck, told the them I had a stiff neck, left with a stiff neck and a card that said my tight area was my neck. Thanks for nothing....Oh yeah and we paid for an hour. My husband got about 50 minutes and I went in 15 minutes after him and got done before him so maybe 40 minutes. And the guy who did mine was rushed and clumsy. I dont think who knew a thing about the muscles.
