Studio Essence Barbers

There’s no other barbershop like this one! This was my baby boys’ first haircut and from the appointment setting until we walked out after the service we felt so welcomed! Bri handled my Kam with so much care and patience! She got him right just a day before school started! She even had help from another barber in the shop while we were there! We will definitely continue to come for his future haircuts! See you all in 2 weeks!! Thank you!!

I’m convinced u won’t find a better Barbershop across the NATION. They have a GREAT team of Barbers along with a masseuse on standby. After my last cut, I got a massage in the back of the shop. It was much needed, convenient, and very professional. They’re versatile and diverse. The owner has been cutting my hair since I was a child; I’m now pushing 40. The name Studio Essence is the perfect name for this perfect Barbershop. Great Vibes. Soft Music. Great conversations. And most importantly, Master Barbers who treat u like family. You’ll love it there!

John did a wonderful job trimming my husbands goatee. The atmosphere at the shop is relaxing, and the staff is incredibly friendly. 10/10 experience. Hes become the new go to.

There is a young lady in the shop named Bri who offers massage therapy. The massages are PROFESSIONAL, thorough, and extremely relaxing. Holding stress in my body from dealing with family stuff, by the time she was done, I felt like new money. Great conversationalist and a cool individual. Ill be back in about a month.

I’ve been going here for over 20 years, G and the gang are more family than anything else. Great atmosphere with great artists and masters of their craft. Might even teach you a few things about life. Thank you guys, more than a barber shop and salon!

Ive been coming here ever since the location opened. Ive known the barbers even before the location and their hospitality and talent is unmatched to any location. A little bonus but I have a 3 year old baby brother who gets his hair cut here and they know how to take care of the kids well.

Brianna was excellent, professional and FAST! My sister lock retie with other loctitians usually take 8 hours! Bri completed a wash, retie, and cut my sides with an edge up in a little over 5 hours!The shop had a great atmosphere too. There was no cursing, the music was eccentric and the other barbers were respectful of the fact that there were women in the shop! The only reason I didnt give 5 starts is because she arrived a little later than our appointment time (ten minutes) and the bathroom in the shop could have used some special attention. Everything else definitely deserved 5 stars!!!

Staff is friendly and place is super clean. John took care of me and my son and did a great job! The fade was nice and the part was straight. We have found our new barber.

2 stars for friendliness. If you’re a woman, do not get a haircut here. Obviously I know it’s a barber shop but I needed a simple straight haircut just 2 inches of my hair. I asked the barber in there if he knew how to cut Womens’s hair, straight line haircut, and he said Yes, he proceeded to cut it I pay, I left. At home I straighten my hair to make sure it was even. It wasnt. I called to let him know, he did told me to go back so he could fixed it, but the trust is gone when he said it was my fault for moving too much. I wasnt.

Barber by the name of 2.0 cut my son’s hair a few times. Each appointment was very professional and detailed. My son has a disability and he managed to communicate and interact with him perfectly. Greatly recommended!

The other day my family was greated by these great group of men passing out flyers for their business. They were so friendly and caring. My sons Gio and Dom will be going to them from here on. Great, humble men and the environment is not like your typical noise talking barber shop. Very respectful environment for all ages. They engage and empower the young men and get to know them. My son’s have only gone a couple of times but you wouldn’t know it. I was impressed from the 1st time I met Germaine. He told me to look at them before they walked through the door because they were going to come out looking totally different and he was right. It made me realize I had done a disservice to my son’s because I was just finding someone to cut their hair that was convenient. You don’t just want someone to cut your hair, you want someone to “Groom” your hair and that is what these men do. It is also a plus when my son’s are eager and can’t wait to go back.

They do a great job cutting his hair and it’s a great price, but the way that they engage with our son and family is even more exceptional. This was my first time taking my son to a barber shop and I have to say it will not be the last time I come here. My first impression was seeing all the great reviews. Never have I seen a business with this many reviews and still have 5 stars. The second one was when my husband, my son, and myself walked in and it felt warm and inviting.Everyone was just so nice and humble. I only got my son a line because he wants to grow his hair back out but it was just a wonderful place to be and the man who did his line was very nice to my son and I knew he got a good vibe from him because he usually wont let anyone touch his head. Our celebrity barber from another shop who has cut me and my brother’s hair for the last 10 years was consistently unreliable and had cancelled on us on numerous occasions...sometimes he wouldn’t give us a heads up prior to discovering that he was no show at the barbershop. The whole month of January we’d gone without a haircut due to our barber’s no shows. I’d went to my mom this morning and she’d referred us to Chris Williams who took us as walk ins within 3 hours of calling and although I was leery, I must admit that we are extremely impressed with our haircuts. He actually cut our hair better than our previous barber aka “celebrity barber”...REAL TALK! Chris was professional and cool which will guarantee us in returning as possible permanent clients. Open later than other barbershops I have been to. Haircut was amazing, one of the best Ive gotten. The wait was a little long, but understandable considering the amount of customers at the time. They take their time making sure every detail is how you want.

In April 2018, I was referred to Studio Essence Salon. Being a female, I was worried going to a “Barbershop”. Well, I am totally impressed with Studio Essence Salon and it’s stylists. The shop always exhibits a very clean, pleasant and positive environment. The stylists, are very professional, personable, patient, detailed oriented and respectful to their external and internal customers. Ive been coming here for about a year now, every time I go theres a small wait but the wait is totally worth it why? Because during that wait everybody is friendly, local, & funny. Sometimes they sell snacks! Thats what makes it feel like family 🤝. I try to get a haircut once a month G is my barber, makes me look clean and fresh everyime wether I would like the classic look or switch it up.
