This was my first time in the restaurant and I must be completely honest . . . YOU MUST ORDER THE SHRIMP FAJITAS! They were mouthwatering, simply delicious. I also had several rounds of Frozen Margaritas and I felt in the mood to have a little fun, they have an amazing club in the back, the music is the best and I love how the place is decorated and themed with religious figures. You have to come! Order churros for dessert!!
When you first enter this place, you will find the restaurant in the front and the club in the back. We all headed to the club because we had already eaten dinner elsewhere. We didnt want the evening to end, so we popped into the club for a few drinks.A DJ was spinning great 80s music, which we all love and know the words to. The decor and lighting were spot on. The drinks were good and we had a lot of fun! Service was pretty good also considering they were busy.Parking was wherever available on the street. Typical Miami problem. This is Little Havana, and its busy day and night. We have been here before and had a good time.
I had the best dining experience! My servers Octavio and Milita were so kind explaining the menu and quick with service. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and it was so fresh and delicious. I also had a frozen margarita, my favorite. The manager Davio was also very kind and attentive. Atmosphere, staff, and food all 10/10. Will come back. Thank you.
Just be patient, because it doesnt get hopping until late! Like midnight. Drinks are hellllaaaaa expensive so definitely pre-funk. But such a fun club, great music, and love the vibe! Great place to go if youre ready to dance (but they really should add more space for a dance floor). Gotta visit if youre visiting Miami! Also their food is good too.
Sketchy crowd and pushy staff. I have mixed feelings as far as the theme. I thought they did a great job decorating given the gimmick but also felt uncomfortable at times. The crowd seems like they’re “in the business” and were honestly quite laughable. I just don’t see this as a place I would go to again on purpose. The drinks however were smartly assembled and I appreciated the male bartender there on this particular night but that about it. *goes home to pray*
The worst supposedly Mexican food, completely tasteless, extremely expensive, worst drinks and Michelada ever, went in a big party for my oldest daughter’s birthday and for two people without a tip, three drinks and a guacamole and chips, two fajitas$135, $30 parking and $20 tip even though I didn’t want to tip this horrible waiter anything, the nice knowledgeable one was the buss boy, the hostess was on her phone and vaping the whole time, Steak fajita is not churrasco, it’s like cheap extremely tough steak, the shrimp one was precooked shrimp super small and tough, no Mexican sauces or hot typical Mexican salsas anymore like salsa roja or verde etc, it was insane, I didn’t bother to go and see the club or anything else I was so disgusted with the price and quality of the FOOD, DRINKS AND SERVICE. NEVER EVER AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY, also extremely limited menu, bartender looks like she is 18 and totally inexperienced and clueless. Terrible experience sincerely !!
It is terribly sad to see a place like this exist. Mixing The Virgin Mary while people take shots and dance on each other and it seems perfectly normal shows where this society has gone. Imagine doing this concept to a Mosque or Synagogue style. The disrespect and their ig captions under religious and sacred things is insane. I hope more people open their eyes.
Further inside is a covert door that leads to Don Diablo, a cavernous bar decked out in funky Day of the Dead-inspired decor that sets the vibe at this offbeat cantina with an elite collection of mezcal and tequila. With a DJ booth set behind a wooden coffin, wood beam ceiling covered in vines and cheeky murals depicting Día de los Muertos-style skeletons and skulls decorate this secretive Mexican roadhouse-style bar straddling the line between sinners and saints.
Omg Yessssssss!!!! Such an amazing and fun place to visit. The food was delicious. You have to try the calamari. Great cocktail presentations. Yamii was our server and she honestly made our experience there so much better. I spoke so highly of this place to my good friends that they have already gone to visit and they had a blast. So, yes! Check it out. Its worth it.
As a first timer this is a really good club to go to if you’re wanting to go out that isn’t Wynwood or Brickell.The entrance is more on the pricier side (for men, women are free) I honestly had a different experience with this club just from it’s look and feel from the decorations. It’s like Club Space with its Sci-Fi feel but with a día de lo muertos theme.Music was good but I noticed repeating songs the whole night 😵💫Overall good club
Bartenders are just trying to scam you w your bill… they will charge you almost $300 and only give you a couple of beers and 4 tequila shots… then when you ask them if that’s only for those shots and beers, they continuing saying “you also have a remaining balance of $80,00, but when you ask for another drink they ask you it’s $100 dollars more!!!! I am feeling totally scammed here on this place… bartenders are just trying to rip you off… sorry I am giving you one star but I would give you something less that that if I can… don’t go to this place, it’s the epitome of bad service and con artist at its best.
REVIEW ONLY FOR THE RESTAURANT.This is a very curious place, which is located in the heart of Calle 8. The food is good, and the atmosphere is nice. The most striking thing about the place is the decoration, because it uses images of Catholic iconography as decorative elements, and I must point out that they do so without respect. If you want to see a very original place and take very cool photos for your instragam, be sure to go to El Santo Restaurant.I advise you to go before 11pm, this way you avoid coinciding with the opening of the nithg club.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE NIGTH CLUB
We Celebrated my husbands 41st here last night and we had a great time. We were a group of 10 and the manager, Johnny was very accomodating despite some last minute changes to the # of people in the group. Me and my husband ordered the guac to share, chicken quesadilla and shrimp tacos. For drinks, we ordered the old fashioneds but it was a mexican twist because it has mezcal vs. Bourbon and it was DEELISH. Everything was yummy ! The bill came out to about $130 and it already included the tip. We then walked to the back bar which is more like a club/lounge atmosphere and had a blast. Our friend bought a bottle ($450) and they brought out a big sign that had my husbands name and even gave him a crown to pose in pictures. There are lots of photo ops so take a ton of pics ! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because our server was not the friendliest and gave the impression we were bothering him but overall we had an amazing time and I highly recommend this place to celebrate a bday or any occasion 🎂
Went around 10 for dinner and drinks and was told it would be $150 for men due to some event. Finished dinner and when we went to go into bar side some Dominican wanna be tough guy says it was $250 for men ALL AFTER SPENDING ALMOST $200 on food and drinks at the restaurant. They clearly have no communication amongst themselves and can charge what they want at their discretion. Just another wanna be establishment ran by Roman Jones who probably has no idea what goes on behind the scenes at any of his locations. Steer clear unless you have the money to blow or don’t mind racking up debt for a night of music and aggravation with the employees. Had a MUCH BETTER time at CubaOcho and Ball and Chain…both locations with no charge to enter.
We only got to enjoy the food at this location, but man can I tell you that is enough! The food was amazing! we went to Little Havana with the intention of getting a cuban sandwich, unfortunately couldnt wait at the restaurant we wanted to eat at so found this spot instead and I am so happy we did. My husband said it made the Miami trip.
Shady place, security blocked me and my girl from coming in and let in a couple who was consuming cocaine right in front of door. Never again!!!
I would give it a four if the food choices werent so limited. Portion sizes are very small, meat quesadillas barely had meet in it. The waiters were very sweet but couldnt keep up with drinks orders. The atmosphere is fun, great music. I would go back, but certainly after dinner.

Went here on Saturday December 17 and had a terrible experience. A promoter hooked up me and my friends with a bottle service booth for a birthday and people were in it when we got there. We eventually got in the booth and within 5 minutes one of my friends was told to leave the booth by a promoter because of her weight. Like I don’t understand why a promoter who doesn’t work for El Santo could kick a girl out of a booth over something so blatantly discriminatory. The fact that the club allows this kind of behavior is insane and makes no sense logically. I will never come back here.
If you are looking for a good customer service experience this is not the place. The hostesses have no experience on how to handle customers and people in general. We waited an hour and a half for a table that we had called ahead of time and made reservations for. When we finally asked to speak with a manager the hostess was unable to even do that. The bar includes tip automatically and doesnt provide an itemized receipt to show it included. The bar serves decent specialty drinks but has staff that again is a little lost on how to explain drinks and work with customers. I will not be returning.
One of my favorite places to go. The decoration is beautiful and very different from what I have ever seen. This is forsure the new it spot. All the staff is very polite and they have fun cocktails to choose from! I especially love their Ave Maria cocktail because I have never seen a “broken” cocktail before, very cool idea.
Last night I had the best time ever at El Santo. Thank you MELVIN for the great and amazing hospitality your charisma and energy are amazing you made the experience spectacular. The food was absolutely amazing, great portions. The drinks also very good. We will definitely return very soon! Please take the time to check this place out, highly recommended this restaurant. What’s the point of 5 workers in the front just standing there while the tables are struggling for lack of waiters/waitresses. We were a group of seven and they brought our appetizers after the meals. Five of us got our food and the other two didn’t get ours until after 30 min wait after everyone had already finished. When we complained, the two missing meals came out cold a’f. Avoid this spot not worth it. Not sure what the hype is all about, even the drinks were bad.
I was there with my husband in a vip, the attention was very good, I loved the hookah, I think it is the best I have ever tasted. Luisa was our waitress, she was attentive to us and she took care of our table, that everything was fine.
I thought Don Diablo was a cool place.You get charge a cover fee that not include nothing, as expensive as Elleven which is 100% better place, which is fine, but then inside u need to stay out within a specific area near the bar, the security and hostess are very rude and unprofessional. Worst experience ever in a night club in Miami. If u want to be used for your money go ahead and go, if u want be treated nice and have fun, try other places. We asked for our money back and almost have to call the police, the manager was even shouting bad words, worst treat ever.
Great time. Fantastic table service and hospitality. Fair prices. Beautiful, artistic environment. Professional and polite security team. Best DJ and music I’ve heard in a while. This is going to be one of my go-to spots after coming here for my first time. Kudos to the owner and his staff. You guys are doing everything right 👌🏼
This place was a joke went there for my girlfriend bday weekend and the staff could not give me a correct price first the restaurant next door tells me 100 bucks for men 0 for women then when i go to the host in the front some dominican short guy tells me idk who gave you the wrong info but its 150 for men 30 for women cover ended up going to tucandela and had a way better night 60 cover for men still a bit high but totally worth it i spent about 200-300 in the other place easily these business have to learn that 30-50 is ideal cover and ppl are looking to spend money who goes to miami and does not splurge??? Funny thing is the restaurant had some very good tacos a bit overpriced but they were very good the restaurant gets a 3.5 price was high but tacos were good.

Let me start by saying that this used to be our go to spot for me and my friends. Last night, completely changed that. The place was packed so it is obvious that there will be pushing from people in order to get through however, one of the bouncers was completely out of line. As he was pushing to get through, he jabbed my friend in the rib cage. When my friend ask him why he had done that, he acted like a mobster and started shoving his face into my friends face as if he was wanting to provoke him then threatened to throw him out. At that point, we were just ready to leave and not spend another dollar at this place. When we made it to the outside, the outside bouncer tried to justify his actions. I want to add that we are not children, nor are we in our 20s or even 30s. We are grown 40+ adults and we know the difference between a push to get through and a jab to the rib cage. Security should be there to prevent issues. Not to provoke them. These guys act like rejected CIA applicants and their superiority complex is out of control. As I read other reviews, its clear that this behavior is common in this place If this continues, these wannabe rent-a-cops will put the place out of business real quick!
Horrible place they make you spend $100 or $150 in order to go in. Depends if they finess you or not. There’s a reason why it’s 3.8 stars in the rating. The only reason why it’s not worse is because the restaurant that’s not part of the nightclub gets better ratings. I highly recommend going to Club Liv, Mynt, Elleven, even wynwood clubs are better. The reviews are here for a reason, don’t just take my word for it.
Tried to come in for a couple drinks and the door man tried to charge us $150 for consumable for 2 people. We literally wanted 2 mojitos. Then he said the best he could do was $100. Thats why you guys are empty at midnight on a Friday.
Absolutely disappointed !!! We had dinner at this place and we were waiting for over 3 hours to get into the dance floor to celebrate my birthday. The waitress told us we could wait until they open the floor, however the manager after over 3 hours waiting told us we should have a reservation to get in or pay 7 thousand to reserve a table!!! What a waste of time making us wait for no reason!!!!

Their restaurant staff invited us to check out the nightclub at 11pm. We came back after a $60 ride just to find out about a dress code that isn’t posted anywhere nor did the staff tell us anything about it. Pathetic excuse of a nightclub in Miami to have a “no shorts” dress code let alone no prior mention of a dress code to potential patrons. I can get behind it if they simply had something posted about it but I’m just upset about wasting money for no reason.
The service is horrible, Inay didnt even bother coming by the table to see how we were doing or how the food was. We ordered drinks and it took longer than 30 minutes to make a simple drink and bring it to the table. Had to ask one of the bus boys to see if he could find the waiter to see where the drinks were and why its taking so long. The food was good but wasnt what I really wanted, i wanted churrasco and they didnt have, if you know people ask for it alot then order more and have so when someone wants something they can have it.

The staff at the entrance think they work for ICE, you are told that you will be charged a cover that is a bar credit , but my husband only had a foreign ID to match with his credit card , they asked for a more «American « ID ( mmmm hello, this is discriminatory to literally all tourists and foreigners ) RUN AWAY from this place extremely poorly managed and acting like something they’re not, in any high end club we were NEVER treated like this, it’s a local joint trying so hard to pretend they’re Marion or Baoli at the door 😆 except these places never flinched at our foreign ID’s, if they ask it at al . Oh and they wanted to charge 40$ for valet when it’s 20$ across the street. Bad vibes.

If you ever find yourself in Miami and like to party. El Santo its lots of fun and they not only have a DJ playing music, they have dancers every couple minutes or every hour with instruments being played live. Only downside its very famous and it gets packed inside and there is a wait line to get in.
Regarding the Night Club: If you are Looking to have a good time with no drama, consider looking elsewhere Maybe E11EVEN, Blue Martini or Tucan. Unless you know the staff, they will keep you in line for 45 Min+ while letting others in. Once inside the Staff act as thugs, I had a guy come up to me after hes friend tried dancing with my wife while I went to the restroom and said I Run the Place Here furthermore; Picture one Restroom for 500+ People. I am not even sure the capacity is up to code, but thats another story.
I came to Miami to work and at the end of two weeks we decided to celebrate the end of the process in this place.We went straight from work, so I ended up carrying a bag of things I had bought throughout the day, some chocolates and gifts to bring to friends in my country.When it was time to leave the security guards said the bag was gone, they probably had thrown it away. I had to argue for a long time, the security guards clearly laughed in my face, and in the end, they only returned the bag to me when I called the police. It was completely bizarre, I dont recommend it.

If youre thinking about having dinner here, please save yourself the headache, they double and triple book their tables, we had an 8:30 pm reservation, its 11:46 and still no table. Weve spoken to all the managers, they keep seating larger parties. At this point we should have gone to have dinner elsewhere. At taco bell lol. Theres people here complaining theyve been waiting for their food for an hour and a half. Wish we wouldve known this before coming here. So disappointed. #neveragain

This place is terrible. I bought my tickets for a party here, however they made me wait 1 hour in line. After they let me in, they told me I had to make another line inside to get to the main area where my table was. Spent 1 more hour in that line until I had to leave. Never got to see my friends. Asked for a refund and they didn’t accept it. Never coming back.

They want to charge you more than necessary, you have to be on the lookout, its a shame that those things happen in that place…. The parking lot is thieves, the valet parking people steal your personal things. I dont understand how a place with so much fame works with incompetent people to overshadow the place. The atmosphere is very strange. It seems like a cabaret, and I want to clarify that I have nothing against it. Only if I go to a nightclub I expect to get music, drinks and attention because Im paying for that, but what I found was a waitress who told me that I should wait to be served because she was dancing. Que? Thats why I say, its like a cabaret, very nice for a group of men, but not for a group of girls who just want conventional club fun.

Expensive and bad. Nothing special about the tacos, the mojito tasted like coconut. To go to the bathroom you have to go to the place next door through a door that connects both places but you have to bother the table that is right next to the door (on the side of this place). There were 6 of us and they put us in a table of 4, we couldnt fit (the place was empty when we arrived, that is, there was room to sit at a better table) and the air conditioning dripped on the table. Experience that you do not want to repeat

The worst place I have ever been to in my entire life, a dirty place, I actually got my clothes dirty because the sofa was dirty, the food was extremely bad, the drink was even worse and the service ended with a flourish, They dont give you any receipts and they give you whatever they want, because you ask for things that arent on the menu, and they never give you back any single pesos... those dont have any service title, the tip is earned miss... We are from Panama and we went to see Little Havana, we liked the place, however it is the worst Mojito I have ever tried in my life and it costs 19.00 + taxes. They told us that we could enter the club after 11 pm and we were there from 8 pm consuming and when it was 11 pm ready to enter they told us No, because I was wearing shorts. They saw us all night in shorts and didnt say anything. Terrible service from the staff... Not recommended...
This is the WORST place we have been to in years, we were 6 people, we drove from Weston about 45 minutes….. When we arrived we took the $25 ballet parking service and when trying to enter the premises the security personnel did not agree if They let us in or not, we finally got a table, we ordered some drinks which were well prepared but as for the food, it took too long and then arrived cold, a single very friendly girl attended to the only 6 occupied tables, however There were more than 6 security guards at the door alone “how ironic”The place does not have a bathroom, incredibly you have to leave and go to the adjacent place apparently belonging to this restaurant to use the bathroom4 of us decided to use the bathroom and to our surprise they didnt want to let us in again HAHAHAHA how crazy.From the beginning we informed that we wanted to go to the disco area, we were told that we could go from 11:30, after dinner and the time arrived they told us that we would have to wait until 1:30 am and they wanted us to pay $1500 for the reservation claiming that they had a very limited space…. We decided to leave that place immediately.It is very sad and regrettable that the support of Latinos for Latino commercial establishments becomes this mistreatment and attempt to collect meaningless amounts of money.
This is the worst place I have been to in Miami!! To start, let me tell you that the drinks they serve you are practically water!! Not only that the prices of the drinks are high!! They dont give you the correct measure of alcohol!!! Bartender Cristopher V put 3 drinks on my account that never reached me!! I never asked for them and they still didnt want to give me my license back until they arbitrarily charged me for the 3 drinks!! Without any explanation!!! I dont go to places where they steal my money!!! And finally as if these were not disastrous enough!! Outside the parking voucher says 25 dollars written on a pizza !!! But when you leave the place they charge you $40.00 and only cash, no card!! Simply deplorable the way they try to take your money!!!
We went because of a recommendation from my husbands work. We made the reservation. When we ordered we asked for tacos on Tuesday which was the reason we attended. The waitress informs us that they dont have it. Well, we thought they had eliminated it and we didnt feel like fighting for an offer. We order. A single tiny taco $5.00. It wasnt even the regular size of a taco. We ordered guacamole and the tostitos were stale. The only good thing about the whole dinner was one of the drinks that I cant remember the name of. The worst thing is that when we left the restaurant... we noticed that next to it it said: El Santo taquería and they had the advertisement for taco Tuesday. Obviously, we were upset because if it is an extension of the same business, the correct thing to do was to inform us that the special was only done on the other side.Anyway, food not very good, expensive and small quantity. To top it all off, horrible customer service.

Very bad experience...we ate there and went into the club, spent 800 dollars and left calmly and the security pushed my friend and thats when it all started...he even pushed his girlfriend and me who were separating them...if they are security instead of reassuring people became like crazy bullies. What a great time we had...what a disappointment we even told the police and they said that what they had said was wrong.
We went to dinner as a group of 10 people, then we decided to go to the dancing side at 11 pm and if they are not at the exclusive table for consumption $1500, practically the security staff throws you out of the place and tells you to move from in front of the table. Its a bar-disco. The quirky decoration makes it attractive. A good option to learn about Miamis nightlife.
The service at this restaurant is disappointing, I made a reservation and they did NOT tell me that I could only stay two hours and leave, on top of that the waiters are not attentive and in the end they threatened to call the police for me for refusing to give the tip, because I I was dissatisfied with the service
