Woodhouse Spa - Midland

I received a gift card for Christmas and received a package for The Bliss, including a hydro facial and a stone massage for a set price in which they offered ($405). There was a price increase of 100.00 difference since April 1st and they did not honor their package. unfortunately, I will not be returning nor advise anyone to buy their loved ones a gift card. It is a deceptive business.

Hi Woodhouse owners... thanks for eliminating Waxing Services from your spa and sending feminine hygiene in Midland back to the 1970s... Actually, that makes sense, since the quality of shopping, culture, healthcare and education are stuck in the past out here. Weird how theres 150 different places to get your eyelashes lengthened, and pretty much nowhere to get your kitty trimmed now.

I had my first facial with Leah Herron today…AMAZING!!! She was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable, professional and the process was so relaxing! My skin is so smooth. I’ll definitely be back and add some extras! Thank you Leah and I’ll see you soon!!!

I got a massage from Rosie, and she was phenomenal! I will be booking with her again. The atmosphere was great and the front desk was super helpful! Overall amazing experience from start to finish.

Highly recommend! Best facials and massages in town! Julie did a wonderful job with my facial, I tried my best not to snore. The water, in Midland, dries out my skin so badly, since I moved here, but the Minkyti facial revived my skin and now I’m ready for my Valentines weekend. Definitely coming back !

My husband booked me a 50 minute prenatal massage. First we were called saying that we had to reschedule because apparently the original time that he was able to book was only for an 80 minute massage time slot… okay? Sure whatever. We rescheduled for a later time. The massage was good, not better than my first prenatal massage here; but I got on the massage table at 2:10 and by the time I got up and checked my phone it was 2:48… would’ve been nice to get the full 50 minutes that was paid for.

Amazing! Booked a 3 hour spa experience. The neck, shoulder, and back massage did just what the description says. It left me relaxed and invigorated. The Woodward mani/pedi was 50/80 minutes of relaxation heaven. Will definitely go back. Even the quiet waiting room was relaxing enough that, after putting the phone down, I got in a power nap. Every staff member was friendly and inviting. Exactly the kind of spa I was looking for to feel pampered and relaxed.

Had an AMAZING facial here!! They have a waiting area where you can have snacks, drinks, and chill wearing super soft robes.

First time getting a professional massage in a very long time! I received an 80 minute maternity massage from Sylena. From start to finish my experience was divine! Sylena was so wonderful and paid attention to my needs and was just made the experience that much more unforgettable. I loved being able to step away and just relax and be able to take care of myself for a while instead of focusing on my growing pains! I will definitely be trying to book another appointment before the baby is due! I love woodhouse spa and definitely recommend!

My husband and I went on Tuesday for a couples massage it was his first time there, and we had booked this service over a month ago. I was surprised that they were completely out of the famous cinnamon tea, didn’t have any of the relaxing oil diffusers going in the relaxing room or bathroom and they didn’t have any of the snacks out like they normally do. I was highly disappointed especially knowing how expensive our bill was going to be at the end. We did enjoy our massages, but missing most of all the amenities that Woodhouse is known for, was disappointing.Edit: thank you Taylor for taking the time to respond to my email. I appreciate your great customer service!

Update- I appreciate the general manager reaching out to me, I’m hoping I have a better experience in the future!I made an appointment online for an 80 minute massage to treat myself for Mother’s Day. I got a call the next day saying they didn’t have that available, only a 50 minute or a 110 minute. First off, riddle me that? You have a two hour massage available but not 1 1/2 hours?I decided I wanted to cancel, 50 minutes wasn’t worth it, but I couldn’t fit two hours into my schedule. I asked for a cancellation confirmation since I gave my credit card info to book. Jasmine rudely told me they don’t provide cancellation confirmations? I used to be a spa manager and this just seems off. People are giving them credit card info to book, authorizing payment if they no show, they should be able to provide proof of cancellation.This was my second experience, the first time, my massage therapist kept falling asleep, so I think I’m done with woodhouse!

I always love going to Woodhouse. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The staff is professional and so accommodating! If you want a massage, ask for Rosie! They beat massage I have ever had! Kayli does an incredible facial! Also, make sure you give yourself time to relax in the relaxing before, after or both!

Sarah did great as far as the massage went. But honestly the girls in the front, which are very important for business, were very dry ,unfriendly and I saw my name by some products and ask , they didnt know, they didnt know anything. I would of probably made a purchase but nope. Also they acted like i. Should know what to do and just really felt like I was at a doctors appointment. Nothing friendly about that day for sure.

Expensive, but worth it. It is always a nice way to celebrate an anniversary or birthdays.

If you dont offer pedicures you should change your online information. Would save me time and calling or going over there

I was rewarded with the 1/2 day at the spa, the people there are just amazing. Everyone is helpful, so tuned into your needs that its like you went on an amazing trip that feels like its too good to be true. It is such a clean and happy place. It was just so exhilarating I just couldnt believe I was given this by my daughters. I have gone for pedicures and that also is just so relaxing and they do such a beautiful job, it looked like I had just had it done 2 weeks later. I go every chance I get, I love going here for an amazing treatment no matter what I choose. I recommend it to everyone if you want to feel very special and rewarded.

I used to love this place ! My husband or myself and sometimes both of us at the same time used to go all the time for massages but the last couple of years , you have to make appointments weeks or months ahead of time and we just don’t have a schedule to do that. The turn around is ridiculous. They never have enough people working to handle the customers and this is very upsetting. I’d love to make this my monthly ritual again but there is never an appointment available

Nothing short of AMAZING! I booked the 50 minute Therapeutic Stone Massage, and my expectations were exceeded! The staff was very professional and kind, always smiling and making sure I was taken care of. My massage was out of this world. Rosie did such a great job, from making sure I was comfortable to the massage itself. I couldn’t have asked for better! Definitely booking again soon!

Maritza is amazing!! I normally don’t leave reviews for any place, but I love going here! I’ve been twice, and have had great experiences both times. All of the staff are friendly and professional. I got the “soothe and strengthen” facial both times that I have gone, because the redness on my face is killer. I left glowing and redness free all day! You also get a short massage, which is a nice touch that hasn’t been included with facials I have gotten before at other places.

I have had three hydrafacials at Woodhouse and have not been disappointed in anything! Everything is lovely and serene and perfect! Thank you to Kayli for a wonderful 80-minute experience! Already looking forward to my next one!

My first massage experience could not have been better! The masseuse was extremely nice and put me at ease, as I told her it was my 1st time. The massage itself was relaxing and an overall great experience. First of all the place is clean and quiet and designed to relax! I had a Swedish massage by Teresa. It was a full hour of one of the best massages I have ever had. She did work a little deeper in the areas that needed it but not so much to make me sore the next day.The staff were all very nice and welcoming.I loved it so much I rescheduled to have one every two weeks for a while until she can get my stress out of my shoulders. then I will go to once a month. Well maybe I might have to stay at two weeks for a long time!!! LOL

Second time here. First time I had a 50 min couple massage witch was really nice. I had Lucy and she did a great job with pressure and areas that I needed worked on. This second time I had Lucy again but for a 2 hr massage. This time she went above and beyond with all of my areas that needed attention. You know it’s good when you catch yourself snoring. I highly recommend Lucy and Woodhouse Spa.

A wonderful experience for me! I had a stone massage with Rosie and pedicure with Melissa. Both were kind and gentle with me and I appreciate their taking my underlying health issues into account when serving me. I will definitely go back!

My sweet husband got me a sap day for my valentines day gift. I called and set up a day and showed up earlier then they said. They took me right back and set me up to the relaxing room, and were very nice. Right at the time of my appointment they came and got me. I had 3 apt at each hour. My last was my pedicure, which started late. They came and got me, apologized for the wait and were very professional about it. Even though they had to work late to finish my pedicure, they were still very nice and making sure I was happy with everything. Loved it and cant wait to go back, hopefully with the hubby next time! :)

Absolutely loved my aromatherapy bath. This mama was way overdue for a break. The friendly staff and tranquil environment made me feel like I was at a spa at the Ritz. I will definitely be returning to try other treatments.

I had the most wonderful experience at The Woodhouse Day Spa. The girls there are so kind and they just spoiled me and made me feel so pampered. Lindsey gave me the best pedicure of my life! WOW!! Best Message I have had - EVER!!. Brian was my massage therapist and he was so amazing & professional. I feel completely relaxed from my head to my toes... Brian was actually able to fix a few problems I have been having in my neck and back. The staff was Top Notch & amazing as well. I was honestly treated like a queen. Woodhouse Midland was a wonderful experience. From booking over the phone, to entering the quiet room, then to receive the best massage ever from Sylena Prince! Start to finish was amazing. It was worth my 2hr drive and I can’t wait to return.

I came here for a massage recently. I had high expectations because of the reviews I have read as well as what I had heard from other people. I was really disappointed. I got a Swedish massage. I told the masseuse that I wanted medium pressure. I have never had my body massaged so hard in my life. I felt like I was being tenderized. The masseuse also asked some of the same questions that I had just answered on the questionnaire, which was annoying. Overall, I found this place not worth the money. I’ve had better massages at Massage Envy for about half the price. I would not recommend going here.

The staff is so rude! After getting degraded for asking for a different therapist after my husband made an appointment I requested a refund instead they will not refund an unused gift card and successfully ruined a Mother’s Day gift and wasted $400!

I have been to this spa on two occasions for a pedicure. Both visits I was not very impressed with the service.On my first visit the lady who was doing my pedicure was having an emotional breakdown and badgered me about how hard her life is because she isnt white like me. This made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.I decided to give this spa another chance as I understand people have good and bad days. On my second visit the lady performing my pedicure cut my toe and it was very sore for several days. I tried to all the management but was not able to connect with a manager to tell them about my experience. I will not be returning to this spa and I would not recommend to anyone.

I have never had such great service! The atmosphere was so relaxing and the massage was customized to my preferences! It truly was like a vacation away from home! I highly recommend this spa for anyone! They are wonderful!

I would probably give 0 if I could. I WAS a long time customer but these are not nice people. They just want your money and the facial I had was super not worth all that money I spent…..Disappointing.

The atmosphere and customer service is top-notch. The entire place oozes with relaxation and calm. The services were wonderful. I received a facial, massage, and pedicure. My massage wasnt the greatest, but it was sufficient. Facial was wonderful (although, I dont enjoy feeling like Im receiving a sales pitch during a facial). Im sure this is the policy of the spa, and maybe even part of their training, but Im there for a service, not a sales pitch. The facial was the best Ive ever received and included a foot and hand massage. My pedicure was great...comfortable heated chair, a blanket, and relaxing atmosphere. A true SPA EXPERIENCE! The customer service was absolutely perfect. From the moment I walked in, someone was tending to me. I loved the experience. The facilities are beautiful and luxury. But even when offered hot tea (which was AMAZING), I was informed they also sell the tea. If I like something enough to buy it, Ill ask for it. This is my issue with most spas. I will return to Woodhouse and Ive even recommended it to several friends. I love it. I just hope the sales pitch is toned down or done away with.

I recieved a gift card to Woodhouse in December, and I had been wanting to use it, because I am moving to another continent I decided now was the best time as I will be in the airport and on planes for several hours.I had never been, but have talked with many people who said take advantage of the quiet room. I went an hour early🤪 got checked in, filled out my paperwork and just sat. Sitting in a quiet and peaceful area with refreshments is so underrated. The girl who helped at the beginning of the visit and checked me out was helpful, quiet, calm and had a peaceful air. I appreciate this, because new things like new places can be overwhelming and a lot of people in our area arent willing to go the extra mile to help, so clients end up missing out on things or guessing their way through.I had a 50min hot oil/stone massage. It was great, its intended to be relaxing and light to moderate pressure. I tend to be more of one that prefers more pressure, but this experience was great. The room, the music, the experience was all excellent. I wish I could remember the masseuses name. But anyways she was excellent.At the end I went back to the quiet room drank an excellent cup of hibiscus tea and just sat. My body was so relaxed and the environment stayed heavenly. I then finished my trip with a hor shower changed and checked out.My checkout process was messed up because I was using teo giftcards, but again, the staff was extremely patient kind and redeemed both. This was the best experience I have had getting a massage. I highly suggest anyone and everyone to go here. You will not be disappointed.

My therapist has her cell phone in the room while I was receiving a massage. Safety and professionalism did not seem of importance to my therapist. Informed staff when checking out, but didn’t seem too offended that this had happened. We do not plan to return to this location unfortunately.

Ive only been one other time with a gift certificate from my daughter. Massage and mani/pedi were great. This time I did the full facial wax and pedicure. Ive told several people the Elizabeth gave the best pedi Ive ever had. The waxing was not so great. I came home and ended up having to have lip and eyebrow redone. Lots of missed places. It was my first full facial and although technician was pleasant, she did not do the entire face, so when you look in a well lit area, you can tell. Probably wouldnt recommend this to anyone. Suggestion, I know you are going for an ambiance, with the dim lights, the waxing rooms need better light.

Went in for a deep tissue massage with Summer. Instead all I got was it seems like just oil rubbed on my arms and legs. I have sceduled my massage 2 weeks in advance so I was excited for my appointment to be very disappointed. I left more stressed then when I walked in. The robes they give you smelled like mildew .Very disappointed.

I had an appointment with Summer the massage therapist for 50 min a back, neck and shoulder massage which was confirmed with me the day of my booking and the when I check in. And received a 1 hr. Full body massage. So be needless to say I received something I didn’t ask for and results from massage was not satisfactory, because no focus was made where I needed most. So FYI y’all confirm with whom ever is doing your service what your actually there for.

Have used Woodhouse several times for massages, but will never be back after todays incident. When I first arrived there was a gentleman in the locker room that could not open his locker and had to have the manager unlock it. Then after my 80 minute massage I returned to the locker room and now could not open my locker. Once the manager opened the locker I retrieved my clothes, which I noticed had shifted including my underwear falling out of my pants. Then when I put my pants on I found my wallet was in the incorrect pocket, which has never changed in over 30 years. I did not noticed any cash had been removed, but will be canceling my credit cards.

I have had three facials at the Woodhouse. They were all very good, but I felt like one of the esthesticians was extremely pushy about purchasing products. I know all salons and spas do this, and Ive dealt with it in several different cities, but this was the worst I have ever encountered. Basically, all of this money you are spending today on your facial is a total waste if you dont buy an entire line of extremely expensive products. I quit going there for a long time because it made me so mad.

I absolutely adore Woodhouse, behind those brown wooden doors is an absolute relaxation paradise. Ive had facials mostly and the hydrafacial is amazing. Seeing the gunk that comes out of your face is especially satisfying. Also their estheticians pay special attention and customize add ons, for instance I had large nose/chin pores so she did a light chemical peel with acid on those areas and I had noticeably cleaner less noticeable pores. Loved it! Also the sitting room is something out of Vogue magazine and the complimentary tea and warm blankets are so comforting after a long work from home day with the kids. I love Woodhouse so much! The boutique is amazing too.

Everything about this day spa was absolutely top notch - From walking into the lobby, the spa concierge, the ladies locker room, the quiet room, the treatment room, but most of all was my wonderful and knowledgeable esthetician, Kayli!!! She was so attentive to all of my concerns and needs and made me feel right at home. My skin feels and looks AMAZING!!! Kayli gave me the best facial treatment I have ever received. I have found my new spa home and esthetician! Kayli is the skin queen! I will definitely be coming back every month.

This place is awful! My sister, mom, and I had booked three spa packages (included facial, massage, pedicures) and were planning of some family girl relaxing for my moms 60th birthday. I was traveling to Midland solely for this appointment. My sister booked everything July 13 for our September 5 appointment. My sister calls today, 9/4 because she hasnt gotten a confirmation call that is Woodhouses usual protocol only to discover that they NEVER BOOKED our packages on their end. Of course they showed where her credit card was holding something from July 13 in reference to September 5-but no actual bookings we made in the system. You would think that was the worst of it. They quickly got the manager in touch with my sister who seemed like she was trying to recoup her business. She tells my sister that they cant provide any services until 3:30, and even then they couldnt do massages but could provide body wraps instead. So we begrudgingly agreed. When she called to confirm this she was informed that since we wouldnt be starting until 3:30 that we cant have three services because they close at 6 and that they couldnt provide the body wraps now either. Then why were we just told otherwise?!? At this point my sister is waiting on a return call from the manager who never ends up calling back for hours so my sister just had to call again. Ultimately I traveled to Midland to not be able to celebrate my mom like we had planned. We will not be going to any kind of appointments here. Absolutely shocked that this location is representing Woodhouse spas as I have made multiple trips to others. Needless to say my mom and sister will now be traveling to me sometime in the future months to celebrate my moms birthday like we had planned.

I always go with my daughter for massages, usually once or twice a month. We have always been VERY pleased with service, the attitude of everyone who works there, and made to feel very comfortable while were there.

It was ok but they said they would do us more on taking out my blackheads and pimples and they only spent like 2 min at most so I felt like I didnt get what I paid for

This is a very well run spa comparable (on a smaller scale) to those in Houston and Las Vegas. Very professional and I had one of the best massages in years! Jennifer is extremely qualified and would recommend her wholeheartedly.

The reason for my visit was that I have some lower back/nerve pain. There is a massage for every need. The place is beautiful, clean, warm and inviting. The service is Excellent!!I will go again. I suggest this location for an enjoyable experience.

The staff, and I mean the WHOLE staff, was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I havent experienced a spa day that was that enjoyable before. This will be the spa that I go back to for any of their services, especially the full body massage and facial.

The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are very attentive. It was very relaxing and well worth the visit. Its like youre not in Midland TX at all. The hot arnica soak willand Swedish massage will chase all your troubles away!

Purchased a $275 gift card here, went to return it 3 days later and I was told that there was nothing I could do. I even said heck keep $50 of it still, consider it a restocking fee, just at least give me $225 back. Seems like a pretty fair compromise, you’d still make $50 for doing nothing. But why be satisfied with $50 when they can screw you out of the full $275? The matter is more about principal anyways, which their principles are lacking. Would not support this business.

Mercedes has a terrible attitude. I don’t understand why anyone would treat a customer so rudely. The spa couldn’t provide nearly any services. If you buy a package they will try to split you on different days and won’t let you use packages on weekends. I am confident your spa lost a high paying customer. Very poor customer service.

Purchased a massage as a gift for my husband. He was to have received the Swedish, relaxing massage. He had the therapist, Lucy. He was not pleased. He was in pain afterward.He didn’t even receive a glass of water afterward. Extremely disappointed.

My wife got me a gift card for a massage here. The place is really clean and nice. Schedule a deep tissue massage nd got a really poor rub down. Don’t recommend coming here for a deep tissue massage. Called them back and was told I would get a discount on my next massage... SMH..

I have been here several times. Every treatment Ive had have been wonderful. The quiet room is my absolute favorite part.

We booked a facial here about a week ago, we arrived at the time we booked it and they said their computers were wiped and they couldn’t do anything about it. They didn’t offer an alternative or anything, acted very poorly. For the reputation I’m highly disappointed.

Heard great things about this place but can’t get an appointment for 3 months out . That’s ridiculous !! Drive to lubbbock locations they can see you as early as 2 days

Great massage from Bryan. He was able to work out some kinks and stress. Always do the 80 minute massage.
