Tom does a wonderful job with my husband, who has Parkinsons.I treated myself to a massage with Heather and she was amazing, kind, and I had the best massage of my life. I was so relaxed and felt so good afterward!

Summer was wonderful! I enjoyed the choice of music, and I appreciated how friendly and thorough she was during the massage. I have already recommended others come see her and I have already made another appointment with her as well! Overall, it was a great experience.

The staff I had the pleasure to encounter were all very friendly. The massage with Meredith was relaxing. She made sure my comfort needs were met and accommodated me when I couldnt lay all the way flat on my tummy.

The therapists and staff are incredible! I feel so blessed to be able to work with such inspiring people everyday.On another note, I have not only enjoyed the work, I get to be pampered often. I have had massages by Ken, Abigayle, and Tom, so far. Their techniques differ between them, but all three have been nothing short of amazing. Ken fixed me up after an injury from a workout. He was thorough, professional and really solved the problem of my injury and showed me how to properly care for it.Abigayle worked on loosening my neck and shoulders and her pressure was superb! She was soothing and relaxing, and always making sure I was comfortable.Tom used stretching techniques to really relieve some tension that I had been having and worked on me as a whole. Tom was professional, calming and definitely made me feel like a Salvador Dali surreal painting.I have also had Reiki sessions with Stacia, and all I can say is she works miracles. I am so at peace when I come out of the room. Her soothing voice and reiki knowledge have helped tremendously on my healing journey.On top of everything, our new infrared sauna experience is top notch, complete with light therapy.

This was a wonderful, much needed visit after moving our mom’s things across country! The therapist I had was able to remove knots in shoulder that have been there for a very long time! A great gift from my sister and I’m excited for her to use hers! There was some confusion at the front desk but they were very helpful in helping us get it figured out. I can’t wait to visit again!

My therapist was Kae and she did a great job at listening to my preferences and tweaking the massage to meet those. It was one of the best massages Ive had in a while!

Ken was very accommodating to the fact I had open heart surgery 6 months ago. His overall goal was my comfort and starting slowly making sure he was using proper pressure as to not hurt but help. His overall knowledge of chest trauma, reconstructive procedures, muscle, nerve and tissue healing was the selling point for me. I appreciated the time and care he took with my individual situation.

I came in with the most intense sciatic pain i have ever had. She was extremely knowledgeable about how to relieve the pain while remaining always attentive to my pain level and reactions to her pressure etc. It was a great experience! The staff is always so amazing, caring and attentive from the initial phone call to finally checking out (not just the therapists)!

Amazing service! Always feel great after leaving here! Very relaxing and Jess is amazing! She knew all the spots I needed massaged without me having to tell her. I didnt even realize how sore I was with knots in some areas. The only downfall is some of the ungodly things they have for sale in the lobby area like tarot cards, crystals, and things like that. The staff is super friendly and we love getting massages from here. Great customer service!

He asked what I needed to work on and he delivered I never had that technique done before but it did the job I feel so much better today and I will be back. My therapist was communicative and respectful, also very calm/soothing/not chatty. Great pressure (exactly what i requested, 7/10 pressure and he did check in a few times). Lexi is an amazing therapist! She listens to your needs and adjusts her plan for massage based on that. Ive also had experiences with other therapists that do a good job the first few visits, and then once youre a regular they begin to become less intentional and dont listen. I need deep pressure and manipulation as a fitness instructor/trainer and Lexi has been one of the very few therapists that has not decreased her pressure or quality over many sessions. I recommend her to everyone I know, especially other trainers and clients of mine

I had suffered lower back pain for years that numerous chiropractors just couldnt seem to help with. After one very intense, painful, deep session with Keegan, my lower back issues were all but gone. Before that visit I couldnt bend over in the mornings to tie my boots before work. I no longer have that problem.I have also gone for the pure relaxation and reset that you get from massage.I highly recommend Massage Central for anyone looking for help with back pain or just simply looking for a relaxing experience.

I love coming here to get my massages. My fiance purchased two certificates for me in the past and both times were fantastic. The prices here are very competitive for the area and the hours are great. I enjoyed being able to make appointments quickly and been seen in a short period of time. The staff is very professional and has both male and female therapists. I highly recommend them and you will not be disappointed.

The lady doing our nails was very nice, but the polish was less than impressive. I got the gel polish (20) and within the first five days it just peeled off. Very comfy atmosphere though, and will probably be back to try my luck with a different service :)

Ken is always very professional and delivers on what is requested. Some days I prefer to have more therapy to work on sore areas and some sessions are totally to relax and other times are a combo of both. I appreciate he knows when to comment and when to stay silent to maximize the relaxation of the massage. The staff are all friendly and inviting and the rooms are pleasant and always smell amazing.

Ken and Tony have done such a terrific job with getting my muscles back to healthy! My boyfriend and I went for couple’s massages and we were lucky enough to have Julie and Ken. They were AMAZING! They clearly knew what they were talking about and doing, they were very friendly and informational, and we left them feeling great. I would totally recommend this place to anyone (Julie and Ken especially), and we will definitely be coming back!

Bailey did a fantastic job. I went in barely being able to move my shoulders because my neck and upper back muscle were so tight. After just the first visit I can tell a major difference and I can actually use my arms again :) The entire staff was friendly and the environment is very relaxing.

I have been going here every other week for over a year now & wish I could afford to go every week. Anna is the best! 90% of the time I go just to relax but if I bring up a problem area, Anna always makes sure to give extra attention to that area. Alexis was very kind and worked wonders getting some OLD knots out of my back and shoulders. The whole business was very clean. The front staff were very kind, even as the last appointments of the day. I will definitely be coming back!

We had been here serveral times a few years ago, and had decent appointments. Not great, but decent. This time my husband and I decided to try again after reading so many positive reveiws, a couples massage for Valentines day. We made the appointment almost 2 weeks in advance for the first appointment of the day. My husband said his was the absolute worst he has ever had, hands down. He only remained in there because he thought I was enjoying mine and didnt want to spoil it. Mine was okay, but not the worst, but I didnt want to say anything to spoil HIS time. I think I made out better than him, but it was still just a terribly disappointing experience. We will for sure go elsewhere.

I have seen a lot of the therapist there. Jessica was by far one of my favorites. She listened to me, asked questions throughout, and had the right amount of pressure that made it feel like it was helping with what I needed. I will definitely come back to see her again. I also see Eric who is phenomenal as well.

Massage was good. They focused on the areas I asked them to, checked in during the massage to make sure the pressure and areas were right. The room was cozy, the table had a warmer, the music was soothing. It seems the best replacement so far since our other place closed. The prices were decent for the service. I wish they had more flexible weekend hours as we dont live in Mt. Pleasant.

Lovely environment, therapist (Michelle) was prompt, discussed the process and what to expect and gave a thorough massage, focusing on my trouble areas!

Had a nice massage but I won’t return because of lack of COVID protocols of any kind. I was wearing a nk95 mask and the therapist asked me why I was wearing it and if I had a cold. It did not relax me to be shut in a small room with an unmasked person who also questioned my mask. As a high risk person with disabled friends, it just isn’t safe for me and my community.

Ken was outstanding! I was expecting a relaxing massage but needed some extensive relief. Ken performed a quick consultation with me, went over my surgical history and immediately helped my troubled areas. I have never experienced such relief since having back surgery years ago. Ken you’re a life saver, I might just have to travel up from Chicago more often to have you work on me again! If you’re in pain or having discomfort please go here better than any massage I’ve ever received! 5/5 very impressed and reasonably priced for a 90min massage.

Halfway through an hour long massage, my massage therapist asked if I was vaccinated. I responded and asked if she was. She informed me she was not and she was not wearing a mask the whole time. With the delta variant and ongoing COVID cases, I think her behavior and that of this establishment is unethical. It should not be the responsibility of the client to ask for their massage therapists to be safe and clean. They should have given me the information and option before the appointment instead of putting me in a vulnerable position. I am deeply disappointed and think they should have a better response that takes responsibility for compromising their clients’ health.

The old lady & I went 2/26/21 & had the couples massage ($100hr). Omg the staff was so friendly. The rooms were clean & the atmosphere was great. We had the best therapist that money could buy, Danielle & Lexi was fabulous. Danielle hit all the right pressure points & the cbd oil is amazing. Next time where in town im diffently going back.

I had previously only been to high end spas for massages, so I wasnt sure what to expect at Massage Central. I had Rebecca and she did an outstanding job. The essential oils she used were very relaxing and her technique was flawless. She managed to loosen up my chronically stiff upper back and for that I applaud her. I will be returning.

I love the rooms, its a very professional, upscale, and comfortable environment. Rebecca is incredible, she works hard to focus on what is bothering you and improve everything about your body; its really a great therapy for your muscles. Since Ive been going my neck pain has subsided, and my lower back/shoulder flexibility has improved a ton.And Im so thankful for that.

This place was okay for my very first massage it definitely wasn’t what I expected. I had went in there for knots in my back hoping this would help I told them several times that this is what I was there for but still didn’t focus on my back. The massage itself had some nice parts but the majority of it I wasn’t feeling and was not comfortable but didn’t know how to vocalize that without coming off rude I was also just trying to enjoy the moment bc it was a couples so I didn’t want to ruin his but he told me his wasn’t the best either. Also I paid for an hour massage but they talk to you for awhile before you get dressed and after your undressed so by the time you actually start the massage you’ve already lost 15 mins of your time which is a lot when your paying for every minute of it. Than the masseuse I had just pushed on my back for another 10 mins so in turn I probably got 5 min back massage which I wanted an hour. Oh well I’ll try a different place next time and hopefully the experience will be better.

(I wanted to buy all their oils, teas & cremes! :)) (I ended up with organic peppermint tea & CBD creme for sore & tired joints)The staff was eager to answer all my questions about their products, and SUPER knowledgeable.Ok, now on to the message. It was my first time. Ever. I did not feel awkward one bit. The ZEN music in the background & getting a full body message for one whole hour, will soothe your soul! I felt so refreshed and energized for almost a week...and helped elivate my chronic alignments. Looks like I will be a regular! Thank you message central :) -ke

I’ve only had awful experiences here. First was with a massage. The massage therapist used way too much pressure and even after multiple times of asking her to lighten up, she didn’t. It was one of the most painful experiences and a waste of money. My second experience with This place was today, when I came into the store to buy a gift card for a Christmas gift. The woman at the front desk was so rude to me and was telling me to just go to a different spa before she would even answer my question. I was asking her prices and she would tell me, “it varies by time”. But she wouldn’t tell me the price. When I pushed forward, still asking about the prices, she sighed and rolled her eyes and actually looked up the prices. At that point I just walked out and I wil never be back. Don’t waste your time or money. It’s cheap for a reason

The place is clean and the therapist who worked on me did a good job, but the entire time I was at this location, I got the feeling that no one wanted me there. The receptionist was not friendly at all. In fact, when I turned in my appointment sheet, she asked me if I wanted to pay right then or after my session. I told her right then was fine and she just looked at me and said I dont care when you do it. Before or after is fine.I went in with a sore shoulder and my therapist did an amazing job of getting me back into working shape, but the staff could really learn a thing or two about hospitality since they are a business where people come to be relaxed and spend a lot of money to do so.I probably will not be coming back. It is already unnerving enough to bare yourself for a massage with a stranger without them being welcoming or friendly. I give my therapist the benefit of the doubt since people might not do a lot of talking during sessions and that is fine, but there was no excuse for the receptionist.

Its so relaxing and just resets my mind and body. I do the couples massage with my s.o. and we truly enjoy the experience together. Weve truly enjoyed our visits and look forward to every one.

First off, I normally really enjoy this place but today was rough. Their system wouldnt accept my visa credit card, and no one knew what to do to fix it (because they DO accept visa). Either way, I paid with a different method and went in for a quick 15 minute massage. I know it was only 15 minutes, but I still wanted to feel like I was in a peaceful atmosphere. My masseuse talked the WHOLE time. Honestly, idc if you talk, as long as your hands keep moving! But, shed often stop when she was telling a story so, I sort of felt like this time, I was just paying for her to chat. Not my favorite visit.

Loved that I was able to book online only a couple days in advance. Didn’t have to wait long once I arrived. Would have liked to have the hot stones used more. Felt like they were only used for 5 min.

Ive been dealing with lower back pain for many years now and I finally decided to give massage a try and it was the best decision Ive made in a long time! Ive had 3 massages in the past month and have been almost completely pain free since. Ive tried chiropractic and physical therapy and massage has helped me the most by far. I highly recommend their services!

Visiting Mount Pleasant for the weekend. Made a reservation two weeks in advance. Took a half day of work because out appointment time was scheduled for 3:15. Received a phone call the day of appointment, two hours before our scheduled appointment, and was advised that one of the employees was in a car accident.Now, while I realize no one has control over these types of situations, I am giving the benefit of the doubt with the three stars. I still feel there could have been some sort of offer or compensation (discount for a future visit) given or even a little compassion from the person in the other end of the phone. But it came across to me that this business makes money hand over fist and really didnt want our business.

Highly recommend Massage Central to anyone of my friends! Their prices are completely reasonable, and even under a college budget I can still afford to schedule bi-weekly. My experience exceeded my expectations as every time I leave I feel amazing and relaxed. Scheduling is very flexible and easy using their online scheduler. I regularly see massage therapist, Michelle Bendele, who is wonderful at personalizing your massage and communicating with you to address your needs whether it be to reduce muscle tension or customizing your treatment with essential oils. Massage Central has it all :)

Sonni was very precise when she gave me my upper body massage and got into my muscles and bones very well. I am a dancer so my back is always sore and this morning I woke up with a completely painless back which I havent felt in a long time.

Love it there, appreciate the on line scheduling. Well had to edit my previous review. They have cancled on me twice now with scheduling conflicts. The first time on line so called the second time and they still called back later stating that they had to cancel and no other time was available for my day off. Very disappointed.

I purchased a gift certificate for a friend, who was canceled on THREE times with barely an hour notice. At this point she was leaving and not coming back, which they provided no refund or anything. Horrible customer service do not recommend.

I would have rated higher, because I had great experience with them, but the recent price hike has priced me out of enjoying it.

Was very poor service highly disappointed with the manager on duty and charged a half Session for an appointment that we were told was 3:30 over the phone when scheduling appointment ,,they did not ask when I was scheduling the massage for current phone number and they said they had texted info to my old number we showed up 3:30 on the spot but was told that our appointment was at 3:15 and no longer available ,,will not be back and would not recommend

The atmosphere in here is absolutely amazing! The staff is warm and welcoming and you just get an overall feeling of relaxation as soon as you walk through the door.

Today was my first massage ever with Ken and it was completely amazing and I already scheduled again!!! Definitely would recommend this place!!!
