Elements Massage

This is my second time at Elements Massage in Mt. Pleasant and I always leave feeling renewed and refreshed. The receptionist always greets me with a smile and make sure I dont need anything additional before going in the back, ie. the bathroom (which I forget often). The front area and time before the appointment sets the mood and I feel like Elements is super intentional to make sure you are calm and ready. Lisa Howard was such a gem. She was very welcoming and just made me feel assured and ready for my massage. Lisa made sure to ask me about my pain pressure points and reassured me through the appointment that if anytime, it was too hard or too soft, to let me her know. She set the expectation and executed. I left feeling like a new woman because it was exactly what I wanted. Cant wait to prioritize self and go back to visit Elements and Lisa! You will not regret booking here.

I was so impressed with the front office staff, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, and most of all the skill of my massage therapist. Jen carefully listened to my medical history and limitations, and gave me one of the best relaxation massages I have ever had. Thank you Jen! It was MUCH needed!

Professional, non judgmental people. Having had an extremely difficult month I booked a massage. I went in crying & explained how I usually have deep tissue massage, but felt the need for relaxation that day. Susan was great and assured me the room was a safe space to do whatever felt necessary, she even had me laughing about something at one point. Yes, I was upsold the aromatherapy but it was most definitely worth it, I left feeling a lot less stressed and tight. I have my next appointment booked with her for June.

Ive suffered with headaches from neck sholder and back pain for years, Ive been to several different places for massages with no luck on a good deep tissue. Found this place and Chelsae is awesome! Best massages Ive ever had!

The facility was large and well-appointed. The front desk person was professional yet personable. Holly, the massage therapist, was very thorough in understanding my needs and where to focus the massage. She had an excellent understanding of the muscles and provided just the right amount of pressure to give me the relief I needed. I only wished I had booked 90 minutes instead of 60 minutes. The massage was amazing and I will now make a 90 minute massage my monthly treat to myself! I highly recommend Holly and Elements Massage.

I’ve been here twice (in three weeks) and going back again before end of year to see Holly, let me tell you why.I went to this location with a much needed massage to loosen my leg muscles. I run a lot and all my large and small muscle groups need work.They paired me with Holly. I didn’t know what to expect because it usually is hit or a miss (mostly misses (average to bad massage), at least in my experience).During intake Holly asked me what were my concerns and I explained. I informed her I needed some attention on my legs but mostly quads. She asked me to start face up which was immediately a good sign because I knew she would work on the quads first, and she DID!! Not only she listened to my concerns but she was EXCEPTIONAL at connecting the pain points (literally) and releasing trigger and tender points. She has great techniques, listens to the body, knows how to release trigger and tender points, and enjoys her craft. I even extended my 60 min massage to a 90 min massage with her during that session because I knew it would be worth it. My legs felt great during my runs after.The second time I went to see her was a for a chronic rotator cuff issue due to improper desk height and mouse use. I had seen many therapist to address this issues but they just couldn’t (for some reason I do not understand) get to the area where I had issues. I always felt disappointed after those sessions. However, I knew from my first experience with Holly that she would listen to me and will help me, and she DID!!! She released all the pain points, meticulously addressing all the underlying issues. We did some stretches and range of motion tests and I could feel the movement getting better and less painful and restricted. We addressed my problem areas the full session and I left feeling AMAZING! Next morning I woke up with 80% less pain than the day before and with double the range of motion. What felt like something (pain) I would have to live with was addressed and reduced substantially.Thank you so much Holly!If you are considering going to this location for the first time or thinking of switching therapist:- do you like your massage therapist to listen to your needs/concerns and address the areas that is your focus?- do you appreciate talented massage therapist who knows what they are doing and enjoys their work?- do you want to feel amazing after each session and feel good about your money spent?- do you appreciate a professional massage setting?If you answered yes, please go see Holly!

Jen was absolutely amazing and surprising strong for her size. I couldn’t count the number of times I got goosebumps up to my cheeks. My shoulder feels so much better!

This was my first time visiting and it was amazing. Danielle did a fantastic job. She immediately made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns. I fell asleep on the table and was snoring at one point. I left feeling amazing!

I have been having neck pain consistently for the last few weeks. M t physican recommend therapeutic massages that focus on problem areas. I found Elements on Google and I am so glad I did. Jen was amazing. She did an assessment of my issues and went to work. I instantly felt relief of my neck. Needless to say, I will see her again in 2 weeks. She was amazing! Put the perfect amount of pressure but was still relaxing. I came in with a migraine and she relieved so much pain and pressure.

My therapist, Chelsea, was amazing and did exactly what I asked for/needed! She checked in a few times to be sure pressure was ok and also if any areas needed a second time before moving onto other areas. She was very calm, quiet and it was exactly what I needed! Ill be back!

Easily, this was one of the best massages I have had in my life. And I have had hundreds or more. No exaggeration. In a warm and welcoming environment. My experience was immediately relaxing upon entry into the beautiful and clean facility though I had no clue I was entering a spa nor getting a massage. My son surprised me. What a fantastic experience in quite capable and experienced hands.

This place is my favorite for massages. Ive gone to a handful of different massage therapists her and ALL OF THEM have been incredibly amazing. I always leave feeling incredibly relaxed and better than when I got there.

I cannot speak highly enough about Elements Massage, the services provided and the cleanliness and atmosphere. I have been getting massages from a long time, from many different places and this was by far the best I’ve ever had. They have many massage add on services, like the CBD oil, which was absolutely amazing. It’s so clean, and the relaxing atmosphere was just what I needed. Robert was hands down the most knowledgeable therapist I’ve ever been given a massage by, and after just one hour I had relief from years of back/neck pain like never before. The whole staff is friendly and professional, and Tammy Becker is absolutely amazing. You can tell she takes great care of her team, and they in turn take great care of you! I had a nice friendly conversation with Sean and Tammy who worked the desk while waiting for my massage. They each asked if I needed anything during my wait. Enrique did an awesome job with my massage. He used a gentle pressure asi requested. He hit all of my tension points and I left feeling relaxed and tension free. Thank you for another session worth every penny!

The front desk person was nice & friendly. The waiting area was clean & welcoming. My massage was given by Joseline. She did an excellent job on loosening up my neck & shoulders. She concentrated on only this area for 50 minutes. Thank you for a great massage!

This evening my husband and I had a couples massage. I get a massage back at home every 4 weeks from my same therapist, so I was a little hesitant to book, afraid that I would be disappointed. However, Enrique did not disappoint. I was very pleased with his professionalism. I dont remember the name of the therapist that gave my husband his, but he was pleased as well. I was looking a relaxing massage, since I get a deep tissue on a regular basis. It was relaxing with the right amount of pressure.We would come back again when in the area!Front desk staff was very accommodating from the first phone call until we left.Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

First time, and they were great. Stephanie was my therapist. She found a problem I had for so long that I had forgotten about it. She was very caring and very good. It was a 2 hour massage and it was great. Liked it so much I made another 2 hour appointment for the following week.

I love that they have many different therapists to choose from with different massage styles. They are always so kind and accommodating! I also feel very confident referring my patients, knowing they will be well taken care of. They have several therapists with sports and orthopedic massage backgrounds that I love to co-manage with.

I enjoyed my 90- minute massage on a Monday evening. Happy to know how Elements is open in the evenings since I don’t have the time to go in the daytime all the time.

I’m extremely happy with the services at Elements Mount Pleasant. The value of membership is well worth the price, and makes monthly massage affordable for me. The therapists I’ve seen there (Keegan, Stephanie) are obviously very well-trained, highly skilled professionals. I suffer from severe upper body (neck, shoulder and back) tension. Today, Stephanie worked such wonders on my problem areas with perfect light-medium pressure (I can‘t handle deep tissue). I knew I was in the hands of an experienced and knowledgeable clinical expert. I didn’t even have to tell her where my issues were. She found them, and she fixed them! I highly recommend Elements. I’d also recommend trying some of the specialized services, such as Himalayan hot stones or, if cupping is your thing, they have that too.

Great experience from start to finish. From the moment you walk in the front desk is kind, the massage therapist gives a wonderful deep tissue massage, as asked for, and the owner is superb. I highly recommend this establishment.

This was my first time at the Mount Pleasant location after moving from Maryland, and I was thoroughly impressed with Wesley! He knew how to apply deep pressure while also not making it too painful like some therapists have done in the past. He took his time and was very professional and made me feel comfortable right away. I strongly recommend trying Wesley out next time you go!

Wife got me a gift certificate for my birthday and it was a way better experience than I expected. Scheduling was a snap, the massage was great and just everything was better than I had experienced with other places in the past.

This was my first experience at this company and I will likely not be back. I’m not usually one to write reviews but considering the cost of the massage and the service I got in return, I would strongly recommend another facility. The facility accommodations and faculty members fell far below expectations. The faculty member who performed my massage appeared to known very little about what they were doing. I ended up cutting the session short because the experience was far from enjoying let alone relaxing. I would not recommend.

DJ is an amazing massage therapist! I had terrible back and neck pain prior to my appointment. DJ thoroughly targeted the areas that had pain and the trigger points. After the session, the tension in my neck and back had abated. My spine was able to move fluidly following the session and that night I was able to sleep without pain.

Great atmosphere and wonderful service. I booked a couples massage for my boyfriend and I for his birthday and he loved it. Keegan and Tanya were amazing and would definitely recommend seeing them and we will be back the next time we are in the area. Also add the hot stones to your massage as well. That was amazing!

Staff was nice and facility was clean but massage was so so. Paid extra for a prenatal massage that was basically just a regular massage laying on my side. The therapist did not completely address the areas selected. My lower back is knotted and in worse pain than when I went in. Also was not allowed to use a gift card with a special they were running online.

Shawn, my therapist, is very professional and skilled, and my back has never felt better. Maggie, at the front desk, is a delight and keeps the front running smoothly while bringing a brightness to the studio with her personality and smile. Strongly recommend.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I am not one to actually leave a review but I felt the need to warn others. When I first tried Elements Massage a year ago, the massage therapist took me back 15 minutes late and then ended my session about 20 minutes early. They only care about getting the next client in. I expressed my concerns to the front desk and the owner ended up calling me and giving me a free massage.Fast forward to yesterday, I decided to cash in my free massage for a prenatal massage. I have been in so much pain with my back and hips, figured this massage would help me, boy was I WRONG. I take responsibility for being 5 minutes late, I did call them to let them know i was running late too and the receptionist stated it was perfectly fine. I arrived at 1104 for my 11 appointment and was taken back a few minutes later. While I never had a prenatal massage before I was definitely expecting wayyyyy better than I got. My paperwork clearly stated where I needed work done (back, hips, sciatica pain) well the massage therapist spent maybe a total of 5 mins rubbing my back, I could not believe it!!! She spent more time on my arms and legs than the actual places I needed work done. I was very close to getting up and walking out.So it gets better, at the end of my massage, the therapist states that is all the time she has for today and said it was a little RUSHED! Obviously i already knew that, but for her to tell me is just horrible service. Not to mention i looked at the clock and it was 1155. Like I said they only care about getting the next client in. While yes, i was late, and the massage is free, you would think they would want to redeem themselves from my first bad experience. Do not waste your money on this place. Go to another spa and pay the few extra bucks and if you are pregnant definitely do not go here! I woke up in more pain today than i was in yesterday! Best of luck to those who actually pay memberships here.

Had a relaxing and reviving massage that brought me back to life! Only suggestion would be to turn down the noisy fan and gurgling water machine, and replace the face pillow with something more comfortable. All in all a pleasant experience.

Stephanie was wonderful! I’m usually a fan of a lot of pressure but her light to medium pressure massage really did the job. She worked out some stubborn knots and is super knowledgeable about how the body works. Highly recommend!

I probably wont say anything that hasnt already been said. This was my first one-hour massage ever, and Andrew was fabulous. He listened to all my weird idiosyncrasies, made me feel extremely comfortable, and released tension in my neck and shoulders that Ive had for years. Ive been thinking about massage for a long time, and in hindsight should have done this a lot sooner. Sooo therapeutic on so many levels. Ill be back.

James was excellent! This is my second time having a message. James asked me questions and gave me advice on how to get the most benefit out of my message. My message was most relaxing, but most of all after three days of traveling I still feel wonderful and relaxed. Most definitely will go back!!!

I tried Elements Massage in Mt. Pleasant for the first time last night. I had a little back pain from the holiday clean up. Thought Id give this a try and my appointment was at 8:00 p.m. Normally 8:00 p.m. does not find me out HOWEVER after a fantastic massage I slept like a baby. Shay made sure I was comfortable, the room temp was made perfect and the staff was very friendly. I decided to become a member ... a little Mama treat for all the things I do :)

We were in Mount Pleasant on vacation and celebrating my husband‘s 60th birthday. I surprised him with a 90 minute massage which he received from Kaz. I also had a massage from Josh. We have had numerous massages in our lives. Both masseuses clearly were highly educated on the bodies musculature, discovering Areas of tightness, and working on these areas with a very effective technique. During times of Covid, we felt very safe in the environment, everyone was masked but their policy was that if you are vaccinated you were allowed to remove your mask if you chose to. Everyone was very professional from the receptionist, to the masseuse, and anyone else we encountered in the establishment. We wish we lived close by as we would both definitely come back for monthly massages. We hope to find someone in California where we live that is as talented as these two men.

I had my second massage with Elements in Mt. Pleasant last night. For the second time, theyve helped me walk better and eased my pain. Im so grateful for their knowledge and help.

There are not enough great things that I can say about Tammy (studio manager), Austin (therapist) and Taya (therapist)! Tammy makes the booking process as easy as it possibly could be. She follows up to ensure that all has been sorted prior to the visit and even recommended therapists. My wife and I received amazing massages from Austin and Taya. Both were super professional, attentive to detail - especially the things that we needed work on. Throughout, they ensured that we were receiving attention where it was needed. What a wonderful experience! You need to go see them whenever you can.

I highly recommend Stephanie; she is patient and listens to any concerns regarding your body and how you feel. She also informed me of how my muscles in my upper back were tight due to high stress and recommended that I come back to work out the knots, which I look forward to doing.

I was recommended to you by one of my co-workers. Stephanie did a great job of working on the problem areas in my hips and ankles. She took time to find out where exactly I needed the work and gave advice on keeping it strong and returning for maintenance.

The staff is friendly. Jenny is amazing. She heals without hurting which is just what I was looking for. I was paying much more money somewhere else and being hurt almost every time. I kept going because it was working. But now I know massage can heal without the pain.

While the massage itself was great, it only lasted 45 minutes when I paid for 60 minutes. Normally I wouldnt check my watch but I happened to and was rather bummed it didnt last the full hour.

Azariah is an amazing masseuse. He applies the perfect amount of pressure for tight muscles but also so incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

Austin was very in tune to what issues I was having. He found issues I did not even mention that were not my main reason for the visit. He is very knowledgeable about the human body and muscles and tendons. Felt extremely comfortable. 10++

Very disappointed in my experience, post initial scheduling. I stopped in on a Wednesday because I was passing through and made an appointment for the next Tuesday at noon. The receptionist on that day was very cordial and kind, and was accommodating upon being told this would be my first experience to this location via a gift card, but hoping to purchase another 30 minutes to my visit. She booked my appointment for a time available at noon on the following Tuesday. She asked me if I would like an appointment card, and I agreed to one. Looking forward to my appointment six days later I showed up for my scheduled time, only to be told I was actually scheduled for the following Monday, at 11am, despite what had been agreed to. I expressed that not to be the case and was peered at as though I was to come up with a solution. Finally, her (not the one I booked with) solution was 7-7:30pm that evening, or not again for another two weeks for my availability. It is unfortunate to say, I will give my gift card back to the person who attempted me a favor so your company does not gain from my loss, and I will seek services elsewhere.

I adore James. He is so professional and truly listens to the client. I’ve never had a massage that feels the exact same and he always asks for your feedback which make it much more comfortable for the client. Thank you James! 😊

Only third time in my whole life , (76 years), have I had a massage. It was absolutely wonderful. They are so professional, and the massage left my whole body feeling like an invigorated wet noodle. I recommend them highly.

My first massage at Elements with Beth Cook was quite satisfactory. She covered my arms, legs, feet and back until I felt I would float out the door! I appreciate that Elements does not make long commitments. I hope to receive a massage every two weeks.

James has been great with my back and neck. I typically hate chain massage places, but Ive been decently happy here. Some of the reception ladies are lacking in personality and tact, but the night receptionist and James are the best!!

Went in yesterday to get a one hour massage because my upper back was knotted up. The guy did a pretty good job on my upper back but when he was working on my lower back he kept putting the force directly on my lower spine instead of to the side of my spine. Once I left I started feeling pain in my lower back when he was putting the pressure on my spine and all last night at work and today it hurts just to sit down. Also he started 10 mins after my scheduled time and stopped 5 mins early so I really only got 45mins. If the pain doesnt stop by tomorrow Im going to have to go see a chiropractor.

Theresa did a great job working on my problem areas but also relaxing me. Great environment and strict cleaning protocols. Will definitely be back.
