My husband and I just had the best 2hr couples massage we have ever had! Jess and Wendy were absolutely amazing. My husband had jess, hes a big guy and said it was the best deep tissue massage he has ever experienced. Wendy was attentive to all of my back and neck issues. 10/10 we will be back!

Me and two girlfriends booked at this spa when we visited Myrtle beach for the weekend. The spa has great communication and they were accommodating to our requests of booking around the same times. The atmosphere in the spa is very welcoming and zen. We were offered something to drink as we waited for our appointment to start, and after the appointment also. The intake process was quick and to the point.I personally had a prenatal massage and I must say it far exceeded my expectations. I love the fact that the spa offers the belly pillow for moms to be, so you’re allowed to lie face down and get the full experience you normally would as opposed to lying on your sides the whole time!!My masseuse Deanna listened to my concerns regarding my problem areas and my preference on how I wanted the massage to be executed, I appreciate that the most. The massage was great and did not feel rushed.I 10/10 recommend Carolina Wellness Massage and Cyro. Thank you all for the great experience!

My husband and I scheduled a Cryotherapy appointment after a long weekend of running Spartan races. This session was perfect and just what we needed. My legs immediately felt relief as well as the rest of my body. I didn’t know what to expect and the staff helped with that and made my experience very easy and comfortable. We will absolutely be back for more cryotherapy sessions and to try out the other amenities they have.

Visited this location for the first time on 8/11/24. Dawn was my therapist for the assisted stretching session . She was knowledgeable, friendly and I began to feel immediate relief during the session . I am an active long distance runner so finding a massage place that provides quality service is important . I am already booked for my sports therapy massage at this location .

Lovely spa. There is a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in, even in the lobby. My therapist, Jane, was great. We talked about what Id like to work on with the massage and she was really professional and knowledgeable about specific questions. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Ill definitely be back!

Had a great couples massage. They tailored to each of our needs and comfort level. The room was clean, quiet, and smelled nice. We were offered cake and wine after too!

First time visiting this place. Customer service at front desk is top notch. Tried the Therapeutic massage. I normally get the Swedish. I wasnt sure what to expect. There was a lot of elbow used which I wasnt used to and didnt really like. Loved the hot stones. I would recommend not using so much lotion as it leaves you with a very greasy feeling. I will definitely try the swedish next time!

The Cryotherapy was amazing. I have chronic Lyme disease and inflammation caused me chronic pain everyday. This therapy relieved my pain and stiff joints. My body felt like it could finally relax. I wished we had one of these where I live! The staff was amazing and they truly pamper you. You cannot beat the prices!

I looked high and low for a cryotherapy wellness center before stumbling upon Carolina Wellness. I am a chronic pain patient and had never tried cryotherapy. I am happy to report it works! This was a great experience and such a clean, friendly, and relaxing environment. The staff is very helpful and informative. I feel a sense of tranquility on each and every visit. I visited CWMC on the recommendation of a friend who also had experienced back issues. The cryotherapy treatment worked wonders for his back so I thought I would give it a try. I am happy to tell you that I felt relief after my very first visit and signed up for a package for future visits.

Took my 14 year old in to try a cryotherapy session due to a sports injury from 2 days prior. After the first treatment he could already feel the difference. I purchased a 6 pack to hurry the healing process time since well be leaving out of town for a training in a week. 3 sessions later and I no doubt know that he would not have healed this quickly had we not did the cryo sessions.

My appointment was easy to schedule. When I arrived I was greeted by an amazingly friendly staff. Cara is an incredibly skilled masseuse I left feeling much better.

From the first inquiry to the appointment, the staff was incredibly professional and friendly! I have been caring for my mother and after sleeping in a hospital chair for a few nights, I was definitely in need of some relaxation. Fortunately, I was able to be seen the same afternoon and I am very happy to relay that Wendy was an amazing massage therapist! She was very welcoming and thorough before the massage began, making sure I felt comfortable and acknowledged my problematic areas. I opted for the one hour therapeutic massage treatment and it was worth every penny! The room was very clean and relaxing. I would highly recommend this establishment, especially Wendy!

The massage and the facial were nice and I liked the products they used. However I booked the Yin and Yang Ultra services for 3 people which was supposed to be 60 minute facial and 90 minute massage. I was told after my service was over and about to pay that I wasn’t able to be massaged longer than 60 minutes because I was pregnant which was never relayed to me upon scheduling my appointment and paying a 50% deposit on the more expensive package. I was only refunded $15 for this when the difference between packages for 60 minute massage and 90 minute massage was $30. My mom and sister also did not receive a full 60 minute facial and 90 minute massage as they were brought in to their appointments at noon and were already dressed and waiting in the lobby by 2:15. We were not reimbursed for this time and paid the full price for both of those appointments. It was disappointing to be first time customers and pay for a certain package expecting to have an hour facial and hour and a half massage and having less than 2 hours of service between being brought into the room to change when the appointment was supposed to start and switching of employees in between services. Because of this we won’t be returning.

My experience here was absolutely perfect! To be fully transparent: I have a regular sports massage therapist at home that I see biweekly and have been seeing for years, so I have specific expectations - and Carolina Wellness Massage did not disappoint.I called several massage businesses in the Barefoot Resort area and basically interviewed them to find out their level and competency regarding sports, and therapeutic massage a month or so prior to my arrival. Here, I actually was able to speak with the owner, Dawn, and after our conversation it was clear to me that she had the skilled practitioners on her team to properly handle my needs. She placed me with therapist Jessica, who inquired, listened, and completely understood my needs. I felt very good when I left and then absolutely amazing after 24hrs.For those who are seeking a sports massage along with myofascial release, I highly recommend this wellness center. I plan to not only use them again, but added them to my annual trip plans to the North Myrtle Beach/Barefoot area.

This place is hands the best in Myrtle beach! My boyfriend and I got a couples massage with assisted stretching and mini facial a few weekends ago and AMAZING doesnt even describe how good of an experience we had. For starters, the facility was extremely clean and relaxing!The therapist talked us through everything, ensured we were comfortable, and provided excellent service. My boyfriend use to play sports and as he has gotten older, stretching is no longer part of his daily routine. His therapist was able to loosen up a lot of knots and tight areas in his back, legs, and shoulder. His therapist even took the time to show us stretches for home that would help him daily. My therapist focused on my problem areas. She was able to help give me more mobility in my wrist which I had lost due to an old surgery.To conclude our service, we received wine and cheesecake! Overall, this studio deserves all the praise. If you want someone to truly listen and help your body, this is the place to go!

I was a little hesitant and nervous about getting the cryotherapy done but everyone was so nice and accommodating. I was talked through the process and the benefits of it. Then while it was happening, I was talked to about things which kept my mind off of it and was reassured I was going to have amazing results. Everything was seamless and my skin felt immediately refreshed. My arthritis pain in my knee is gone and my strained ligaments and tendons in my back feel better in just 6 hours. I look forward to waking up feeling even better. I will definitely go back.

After two trips to an orthopedic specialist and pain that would not go away in my neck and shoulder I had a medical massage here with cupping done by Kera. Her techniques and suggestions were right on target, and I am finally feeling relief after several weeks of pain. Needless to say, I will be back and continue having Kera treat me. I was dealing with some sinus issues and she accommodated those with essential oils to help, a sinus massage and allowing me to spend most of our time on my back and not face down. Had a great 1 hour deep tissue massage! The masseur was awesome. Felt all my knots and pain and really worked them good. The best part was that my gift card was expired and they still honored it for me and gave me 2 months to use the remainder of the balance! Next I want to try the cryotherapy! 5 stars for sure!

LOVE this wonderful spa that really knows how to help my sore muscles from work and working out! Cyro is a great way to recover and it is amazing how it helps me recover from lifting weights. And Jody knows exactly what pressure points and massage points need attention. Highly recommend.

Massage and facial were perfect and the cryotherapy experience yielded some positive results for me (most noticeably the next day). Jessica gave a great deep tissue massage, one that was needed badly. She paid attention to the problems areas while making sure the right amount of pressure was applied. Hot towels and cups elevated the experience. I cant wait to go back.

We get a couples massage when we vacation in Myrtle Beach. Conveniently located, intimate setting, and very helpful staff. They offer a wide variety of services, which I suspect would be equally lovely. I recommend them for the cleanliness, personal accommodations and availability.

Came to have a lymphatic drainage massage post lipo. Unfortunately I feel like I didn’t drain at all, the therapist didn’t seem to be knowledgeable (she didn’t actually target lymph nodes etc) I literally drained myself when I got home manually and with a massage machine I didn’t plan on using so soon on my sore skin. I have to say the spa was absolutely beautiful. Very clean they have a very nice spot. I will re review if I happen to try a different therapist.

Sarah worked on so many tense areas that no other massage had ever touched on my husband and we have had many in our lives. We both walked out highly relaxed! Check in was quick and easy without alot of paperwork to do, which was nice. Our couples massage was so relaxing and helped both of us with some tension we had built up. Neither one of us had ever done cryotherapy so the attendant walked us through everything before we started and coached us during the process. I got my first cryotherapy treatment yesterday and am very satisfied with the process. My hands and other semi problem areas with intermittent pain felt better yesterday afternoon and noticeably better today. I also slept well last night. Ill return next week and do it again. Sarah was the wellness therapist, and she was awesome!The wife and I did a couples massage on 12/31/2022 to relax and end the year. She (my wife) goes frequently, but I haven’t had a massage in approximately two years. I know, shame on me, lol. Context: I’m a muscular guy, 255 5’ll, 20%- 24% body fat, and workout five days a week. So, I was tight and tense from back and leg day. For the hour session, Sarah hit the focused areas and used several methods, including deep tissue, cupping, etc. She was helpful with recommendations on services to cater to my needs. Very knowledgeable.Overall, I left feeling relaxed and enjoyed the session. My wife and I enjoyed our added foot treatment with the couples package we chose. I will be back to try out the cryotherapy. The facility has a lovely ambiance and helpful, friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back!

My first massage experience - I opted for 30 mins of deep tissue as I had to catch a flight, and my only regret is not booking it earlier so it could last longer! Sarah was incredibly informative and great with her hands, you can tell she is a master of the craft. Hubby and I had massages and full body cryo treatments at Carolina Wellness Center last Sunday. Rob provided an amazing massage. I was so impressed with his techniques. The cryo treatment gave us both a burst of energy on our drive home. Donna was so lovely getting us set up on such short notice. She set us totally at ease from our first contact with her. Be aware that this business had a fire in March & is not in the same location. It is a 26 minute drive to get to their temporary location while renovations are being completed. The temporary location is a carpet business on the front end with a vacant upstairs room converted into a massage room. I hated to cancel when I arrived since it was last minute. It looked very sketchy. The massage provider was very nice; however, when paying over $100 dollars for a massage I expected an atmosphere experience in conjunction with my spa services. This should be reflected on their website so expectations match what is presented on website. I would not schedule here again.

Jody is amazing at what he does. I felt so much better and definitely more relaxed after our session. He introduced me to some stretches for my lower back that I will be incorporating into my daily routine. The prices are great here and the front desk staff was fast and friendly. While vacationing at Myrtle Beach for Thanksgiving, the wife and I visited Carolina Wellness Massage & Cryo for a one hour couple’s massage. This was easily the best massage we’ve ever experienced. The girls, Sarah and Shanique, were super friendly and hit all the right spots. My wife struggles with pain between her shoulder blades and her lower back. By the time Sarah finished, she felt completely relaxed and pain free. Shanique was incredible. She worked out the tension in my shoulders and arms. She even discovered a knot in my calf that I hadn’t realized was there. Afterward, we were served a glass of wine with sweet treats. This really was, for both of us, the absolute best top-to-toes massage we’ve ever had. We will be recommending this place to all of our friends.

First off, many thanks to Donna, who operated the Cryotherapy tank for me. I was ready to step out at the 2 min mark. She was so supportive, encouraging, and helped me get to the 3 min mark. The atmosphere is very welcoming, CLEAN, AND QUIET. Highly recommend!

I had a 90 min deep tissue massage with Shanique, she was phenomenal, her attentiveness to my concerns and knowledge of her craft were bar none. I will definitely be returning and I finished off my service with the cryotherapy chamber, it was an experience that left my body feeling exhilarated and refreshed! I’m glad my bff and I decided to give you guys a try!

My facial was scheduled with Dawn, the owner, and I was delighted with the service I received! This was the first professional skincare for my face that I’d received since I moved to Marion County 12 years ago so I was slightly overdue! Dawn was thorough, explaining each step carefully, and was very gentle as she worked on my skin. It was wonderful to feel so pampered before my 60th birthday!I appreciated the skincare product samples as well. I’m enjoying trying out some of the same products at home that Dawn used for my facial.My first cryotherapy session went smoothly, too, and the young man who accompanied me explained the process and talked with me the entire 3 minutes so the time would pass more quickly for me. He did a great job of calming my nerves before such a new and different experience! I’d like to think that the extreme cold did help my muscle and joint pain and am hoping to try the process again soon.Additionally, the receptionist was friendly and kind, both on the phone as I scheduled my appointment and also during my visit. That’s such a breath of fresh air these days!The entire experience was definitely worth the drive to the beach, and I look forward to my next visit!

My husband and I came here first for two 30 minute massages.The masseuses wore masks and made sure they understood what we wanted to get out of our session, including asking along the way if pressure was okay or needed to be adjusted. Easily in my top 5 massages of all time.I had such a great, relaxing experience that I immediately booked a facial for the next day.The aesthetician(sp?) was the owner and she provided an amazing experience. I have never had a facial before, so she was happy to explain the process and what each product did every step of the way, and talked to me about what would be best for a daily and weekly regimen.She didnt push any of the products at all and I was actually the one who asked about purchasing what we used that day. I really appreciated her knowledge and ability to help me find a good skincare routine in a way thats super easy.I love the decor and welcoming environment. First I was pleased that I was able to be seen on such short notice. I was able to book a full body massage the same day. The location was nice and hospitable the actual massage room was comfortable and relaxing. My massage therapists was Jody he was great I could tell he really knew what he was doing and was very professional and informative. I highly recommend and would definitely go back.

After waking up with an awful pain in my neck and shoulder, I tried to find a reputable massage therapist for a same day appointment. In a tourist town it’s difficult to find same-day appointments, much less, one with a *good* therapist.Not only did a kind, caring, and KNOWLEDGEABLE person answer the phone, she was able to get me in same day with a fantastic therapist. When I first arrived I could barely turn my head my neck hurt so badly. Ninety minutes later I felt like a new person! The pain has lessened tremendously and I can turn my head well enough to at least be able to drive. I’ve already made another appointment with Jodi for next week! So thankful to both Dawn and Jodi for their graciousness, superb customer service and excellent massage skills.

Carolina Wellness is a very professional and welcoming establishment. From the booking process being very seamless and accommodating, to the ambience, the entire experience was great. The massage was truly the best one I had ever had. They were very attentive and caring. We went on Valentines day, so they also provided wine and sweet treats for us. I truly enjoyed it. Not only did she help my back but found other target areas that were contributing to my issues. WOW!! Best massage of my lifetime! Sarah was wonderful and did an amazing job. This will be my new place and Sarah is the one you should go to. When I left I was like YES, now that was a massage! All the other locations around, the massages have been like someone rubbing suntan lotion on me. This one was deep and I have never felt better afterwards. I will be back soon!

Massage was good but I would call beforehand and ask if your masseuse will be using gloves. They should give you a heads up in case it is something the customer would not want. Unfortunately, I will not go back as I cannot enjoy fully a massage done with gloves.

This place is amazing :) During vacation my mom, sister and I decided to get massages and waxes done. Upon arriving, the place was very clean and professional with very friendly staff. I personally had Rachana who currently only works on Wednesdays. I am very happy I got her and went when we did because she helped work out ALL the knots in my back with a deep tissue massage. She was the perfect balance of relation and chronic pain relief I truly needed and to top it all off, she helped me work out some of the pain I had in my shoulders and neck! It was the best massage I had and cannot wait to go back. After my 30 min massage, I wanted a little more rubbing due to it feeling so amazing and the results I already had that I asked her to please squeeze me in, in another 30 min session! She did instantly and once finished, I wished I did the 90 min lol. My back and neck hasnt felt so good in a long time and its truly thanks to her that it does! If only I could bring her back to Ohio with me!

This was my first time using the place and I loved at atmosphere and the owner Dawn. She was very informative and explained the cryotherapy in detail. I had always wanted to try it and with their first visit price it was very affordable. I definitely could feel a difference after using it and did not feel nearly as stiff as I did when I arrived. I will be back again soon for my next service and you should give it a shot as well. You will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful experience as soon as you walk in the door, the staff is so friendly and make you feel so welcome.I was there for a full body massage and facial , I had a wonderful relaxing massage, they went the extra mile to take care of a problem area I had , and it was fixed in a matter of minutes, they are so attentive to any needs you have, your wellness is what they focus on. I had my first massage today at Carolina Wellness Massage and wanted the therapist to concentrate on my neck and lower back. Natasha did and excellent job. I have already booked again with her. The place was very clean and relaxing. I would recommend to anyone to go and be pampered.

My masseuse was excellent. She worked my muscles out and when she felt I had some tense muscles she use a hand held tool to work me out better. The only disappointment was that I scheduled a couples massage but was separated from my husband. They only had one room available for couples and the other couple we were with got the room. My husband was disappointment with his massage. He paid $10 extra for deep tissue which consist of elbow work. The masseuse stated her elbows hurt and couldnt preform that service but they still charged him for it. Overall, I would say our experience was 50/50. I cant complain but he could.

The ladies were at the door waiting to great us in a very calm relaxing environment.It was my husbands first professional massage and he said it enjoyed it very much. I have come here twice now for their cryotherapy treatment and it is spectacular. I was in a car accident several months ago leaving me with a knee injury so I was interested in seeing how this would make me feel. As a whole my whole body feels amazing. The owner Don is super helpful and even gave me tips on how to get over my injury. I plan on continuing to come here and use this amazing service

Husband and I just got married. We were looking for a great place to get our first ever massage each. We even decided to be brave and finish with the Cryo. It was all amazing from booking the appt (all the way from MD) up to the sweet treats and wine we got. Everyone was amazing and very accomodating. We were nervous to try the freeze but we had great motivation to keep going the full 3 mins! Definitely coming back.

I had a facial and massage combo on a family vacatioast week and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Ive had lots of massages from many different spas and this beat them all. The decor was beautiful and unique. The paintings they display are wonderful and perfect for the vibe. We were a little late, having mis judged how far away our condo was and they still went over our appt time to make up the lost 20 mins we had in our massage. They didnt rush or pressure and we still had an amazing 2 hour experience. They were both personable and friendly while still professional. Please try them out, you wont regret it.

I have been having issues with shoulder pain and just moved down. I currently have no medical insurance so I thought I would start with a message and cyro treatment. This very professional and well staffed place is not about money but clients care. I they told me upfront that they can’t do the Cyro treatment due to past procedures. Also paid for one hour of treatment and after a half hour the Gentleman that worked on me was concerned enough to stop and recommended that I go see a doctor. In my past experience a non professional place would have keep going and charged for the full hour. This place has ethics and morals. Everyone there took the time to recommend Dr’s and places to go. I can’t wait to my shoulder and arm are healed so I can return to enjoy a relaxing therapy. Would recommend this place to any and all. Thanks again for you honesty and you certainly will earn my business again.

I have had a lot of massages from NYC, L.A., some islands... all over the place. Today was one of my favorite massages ever! Abbey was so intuitive to what I needed.. the pressure was just right and everything moved or loosened up perfectly. The hot stones and super comfortable massage table just made it heavenly. Then I did the Cryotherapy for my first time. When I got out ( the 3 minutes went by so fast!) my neck and shoulders felt lighter! It was so good to feel normal for a change. I can’t wait to go back!

These ladies made me feel welcome from the time I stepped into the door until I left. I enjoyed my 1 hour massage it was just the way I like it not too hard and not too soft but just what I needed. First off, we were lost and they stayed on the phone giving directions until we got there. Once we got there they explain everything to us, made us feel extremely comfortable and me and my best friend not on had a relaxing time, but an enjoyable laughing conversation with our masseuse. Hands down Dominique was the best. She was empathetic and listened to how you are feeling. She gave me a quite space when needed and then made the session fun to the point I needed a good laugh. My husband and I got an hour-long couples massage. Jody and Ty were great. We left feeling incredible. The wine and sweets at the end were an excellent touch, as well. We will be back the next time were in town.

I tried the cryo treatment twice now - loved it!!! When they say it gets cold, believe them! The relief is somewhat instantaneous, just not long-lasting. I think it could be with more or frequent sessions, but you’ll have to try it to see for yourself. Well worth a try, though, and the ladies I worked with at this location are really nice, too.

Three weeks after shoulder surgery I visited Jasmine to see if she could provide relief from my pretty severe lower back pain. She listened carefully as I described my situation, accommodated my physical limitations, zeroed in on my problem areas, addressed them quite professionally, and I left feeling significantly better. I highly recommend her and will pay her another visit next week. She was terrific on every level.

Dawn and Joan are fantastic. Dawn makes you feel very comfortable in the cryo machine. Im a little claustrophobic but she helps calm that by talking and staying with you the whole time. It is very refreshing when your done. I did the cryo and then went right into my 90 minute massage with Joan. She was wonderful! Got all of my knots out but wasnt sore the next day. I felt amazing when I left there. Do yourself a favor and go see them, you are missing out if you dont! Thank you ladies for amazing service. Cant wait to go back!

I had a massage with Tammi, today. She has massaged me many time before. She is magical! Ive been having massages for many years and Tammi is the best. Regular massages are very good for your health and you should get them as often as you can. When you go to get one I highly recommend Tammi!

He also stretched me out in areas I didn’t even know was possible! And his pressure was on point, literally got all my kinks out! I visited with 3 girlfriends today and had the best experience! Staff is BILINGUAL whoop whoop ! Tyquan was my massage therapist - 2 hours - PERFECTION … regular feedback on pressure … a perfect blend of customized stretching, stone, trigger point … perfect dose of describing anatomy… IT band and triceps and hips sooooooo happy … You will not be disappointed… we’re sending the golfers!!!

The massage was great! However, it was in temporary facility and I could hear candy being opened and cell phones ringing a few times. I also signed up for cryotherapy and no one told me it wouldn’t be able to get it.

One of the things I love most about Carolina Wellness is that they are open sundays. I work M-F and often Saturday’s. It is hard to find a spa that is open on sundays. Everyone is so accommodating as well. The staff really care about you and your well being. I didn’t have child care for my most recent visit, and I thought I was going to have to cancel, when I told them why, they were so welcoming of my 4 year old step son. He was allowed to come into the massage room with me, but he was also offered to stay out in the lobby area, and the girl at the desk said she would keep her eye out.The massage therapists truly listen to where your aches and pains are, and give the best treatment to help you as an individua.

Cryotherapy is extremely helpful for post op swelling Body inflammation MS .Awesome to have a cryo machine locally in Mrytle Beach . We are on vacation and scheduled a one hour couples massage and added cryotherapy. The massage was fabulous and soooo soothing and therapeutic. We did the cryotherapy for the first, which was so invigorating. The staff was excellent and we had a wonderful experience!

I went to Myrtle Beach with my friends for a birthday week celebration. I found Caroluna Wellness & Cryo online and made myself and my friend Kerri an appointment for the Yin&Yang. Booking the appointments was a breeze and the staff Dawn, Brandy & Tammy are just plain AMAZING! We get there Friday morning for our massage and facials (and I booked a cryo session) and you couldnt ask for better service. Dawn explains everything that they will do and she and Tammy go to work. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and to top it off...my birthday was July 29th and they treated me to a canolie cupcake and wine. It was amazing and the customer service was exceptional! Do yourself a favor and go here when youre in Myrtle Beach.
