I paid $132 for this!!She missed a whole section of my big toe, all of my nails are uneven, the paint is bubbly, some of the nails were put on crooked, they arent blended to my nail bed nicely - my hair has already got stuck underneath them, and she Didnt take a bit of my super obvious overgrown cuticles off.
I’m very unhappy with their service and will not be going back. I went in to get a fill and when I left my thumb nails started peeling! And they were squishy. When I showed the front desk person he said I made it worse and told me to sit down so they could fix it. All the nail tech did was add more polish. It looked good felt fine so I left. An hour lady I saw bubbles forming in all my nails and my thumb nails and 2 other finger nails were squishy! When I went back the 3rd time they drilled the polish off and they were all wet underneath! He never let the polish dry correctly!He re does the polish and I leave again. I wake up this morning my nails are peeling, bubbly, squishy, the wet polish underneath got in my hair and it SMELLS! So this is what they look like now. And they said no refund…
Nathan is amazing at manis -Extremely creative! He can do it all. I asked about a marble design. Not only did he do it but he is efficient and fast while being extremely detailed in his work. Been to 6 salons and he is the best, most detailed while being quick! thanks Nathan! Best to schedule an appointment with him!
I just went to get my nails done with my friend,from the get go they were rushing. We got there at 5:50 p . The establishment closes at 7:30 .We were out of there by 6:30 after started around 6:05 with a full set.From the start I could feel the tech drilling over my skin because he was rushing..at the end of it I saw how much I was cut up . Another nail tech who was working on my friend asked me what was wrong and I told her he had cut me a lot and she said maybe it’s because you were moving too much ?? I said I don’t think so and she said yes he said you were moving too much and then I said was it because of that or was it because y’all were rushing ? I’ve been to the nail salon plenty of times with people who I’m talking with and I never been cut up this bad .They can’t say they weren’t rushing because they had us pay before the services was even complete leaving with my regret of the tip I had prematurely left.My nail tech had no problem chiming in our conversion so if he needed me to move less then he should have spoke up.My friends nails look horrible and I’m cut up and there are black specs on my polish .
I’ve only been to a few nail salons here in NB but this is by far my favorite in town. It’s definitely more calm and relaxing than other nail salons.. every single time I get a gel manicure or a pedicure they do AMAZING! Everyone is so nice. I got a gel manicure done by Wilson and it’s the exact shape I love and I think they are my favorite nails I’ve ever had!
Guy at the front desk was nice even making an appointment online was easy that’s what the one star is for. I asked a lady if they can do French tips with sns and she said yes! Awesome. I sat down with someone else and we pick the color and he proceeds to do solar nails on my natural nails. I asked for square and got idk. I’m not one to complain. He never asked me if I liked them like some places I go they ask if everything is looking ok. Even when he was done he very quietly and awkwardly asked if I liked them. He knew the answer that’s why he was shy to ask. I’m not happy and yes they’re just nails but when you pay $60 for something you don’t like it sucks. Didn’t clean up my nails I have acrylic on my fingers and under my nails. I can go on and on but you get my point. On to the next nail salon. I only came here because the place I went to last time was closed. Try not to laugh at my pics they’re soooo ugly 😣
Sign on the door says closed at 7:30. Online hours say closed at 7:30. I arrived at 6:30, open sign is on, phone is being answered, but told that all techs have gone home (right after watching someone else, a tech) be let back inside the building… terrible service, just lost yourself what could’ve been a long-term customer. I literally only needed a tip & a fill, but Okay…
I had a really great experience with my Nail Tech, Nathan. However, when I went to get my pedicure, the gentleman who did my pedicure, decided it was a good idea to play a live sporting event from his country on speakerphone the whole time he was doing my toes. I called to bring it up to management and I was told that there was nothing they could do because he was a contractor. My opinion is that we are paying for an experience and as a business owner myself, even when I have a contractor working for me, I still get to layout my expectations for how I want my company to be represented. The customer does not want to come in there and listen to a live sporting event when they’re trying to relax. I brought up the fact that I was basically being told that I would just have to deal with it or find another nail salon. And they didn’t seem to care that that’s what was going to occur. I have been a loyal customer for about four years at the salon and really love the Nail Tech that I have used on a consistent basis. But having this sort of business motto is not acceptable and I may be forced to consider finding another nail salon.
Luxx Nails did a great job. I was very satisfied with my nails and my mom was as well. We went in for a pedicure and it was very relaxing. Despite being really busy, they still got us in before their estimated time and were very attentive. Their drink menu is like nothing I have ever seen at a nail place. They offer way more for their pricing than any other nail place I have been to. Excellent service and Kevin up front did an awesome job keeping a good customer flow!
I really don’t think the employees like working there. Unhappy employees show in the quality of work and customer service. My daughter felt ignored and the work was not great either. Anytime a teenage girl does not enjoy her pedicure there is a huge problem. I can overlook a lot of things, no business is perfect. However when it comes to my baby, I have to draw the line. There are too many nail shops in this area to choose from to be dissatisfied, it’s really unfortunate. The only way the shop can improve is by customers being honest. So sorry to have to post this.
I’ve been going here for a long time now and the service is amazing. The online check in is great and the nail techs are friendly. The guarantee is honored even when I’ve been the one to break my nail. I am fortunate to have this salon so close to home.
I have been going to this salon for at least 7 years if not longer. The last several times my technician Amy has started charging (this is new) to paint on the french manicure - but each time I go the amount for that service changes from $5-$15. At my last visit I asked about this and said if I have her do a french in pink/white acrylic powder there is no extra fee, and was told correct. Today I had a new set put on, pink/white french. I was charged $15 extra for shape. I ALWAYS get super square and length (were talking a tad longer than 1/4 of an inch from the tip of my finger- like they still cut off 85% of the tip). I was told the stylist makes up their own prices, I asked to be shown where it states that, as on their printed menu it shows a price, but does not mention this new rule. Mind you, I am not getting a design, noting elaborate, nothing other than pink and white french. If thats the way the salon is run, they need to state that , and the techs should warn you PRIOR to services. I am beyond frustrated! Thanks for ruining my long standing self-care session.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would ! Worst nail experience I have ever had. So apparently the pricing on their website is incorrect and they charge you $5 if they have to shape your nails…. But they don’t tell you that it just appears on your tab. I told the lady I wanted round nails and even showed her a picture. My nails are not round I look like a witch and she cut my cuticle so bad I’ve been bleeding for over an hour! I didn’t want to tip because I was incredibly unhappy and yes I asked her to correct it and she didn’t. The owner asked me “you don’t want to leave gratuity?” With the nail tech standing right there so I reluctantly left $5. Please do not ever go to this place. Incredibly unprofessional and horrible service.
The set that I had done was absolutely horrible. Within 2 days the top coat on my dip completely started peeling off and within 5 each nail had half the top coat missing. After one week 3 nails just completely broke off while doing normal daily tasks. I went in and spent a lot too so I’m extremely disappointed with how this turned out. My pedicure was okay that was about it
Had an amazing experience it was quick and calming ! I left upset from another nail salon due to horrible design work and service but they took great care of me today and I’ll be returning for any nail work I need
Bee & Jason did amazing. Jason did such a wonderful job on my daughter’s toes. She loved it and loved her Strawberry Lemonade. Bee did my pedicure and was so gentle. Made my feet fell brand new!
I was in NB for work and decided to get my nails done. The man at the front desk was very nice and they were able to see me very quickly.I got the mini luxx pedi and mani. During the painting, I thought the nail techs technique looked a little weird. He wasnt making even strokes on the nails. But, they looked okay after he applied top coat so I figured it wasnt that bad.The next morning I noticed the paint was clumpy, uneven, and separating on some of the nails. They dont look awful, but I wish the nail tech wouldve done a better job and taken his time to paint my nails correctly.If you go, you may have to pay close attention to the nail tech and inspect your nails after.

Though my nail tech was friendly, during my full set, she cut me in several places. I had to ask if I could get up and rinse the acrylic powder off my hands to relieve the stinging. I thought my service would automatically be discounted because of it, but my nail tech didn’t mark it on my ticket, and the person who checked me out at the front desk seemed slightly annoyed that I asked about it. I received $10 off my $55 full set, but a day later, I lowkey feel like none of it was worth it because of how sore and irritated my fingers are. The only thing that saved my trip here was my pedicure!(Also, I tend to be pretty passive at the nail shop. I typically don’t complain, even when I don’t like my nails. But I broke out my laptop for this review because my fingers are so sore!)
I went here yesterday while visiting my daughter. We both got amazing pedicures and she got a beautiful manicure. Shoutout to Mary and Amy. For this I give them 5 stars. The pedicure area is also quite relaxing and lovely to be in.I only wish Mary had done my manicure as well. I came in with clean, unpainted nails-last painted about a year ago. The final job looks okay and for that I give her 4 stars. I do have one nail (pinkie finger) that is messed up and will probably chip away soon but I didn’t notice that until I got home.My biggest issue is the manicurist used a Dremel to trim my cuticles! She hurt one finger enough that I flinched and it bled. She then proceeded to clean them up with the other tools and two more ended up bleeding. I have never had this happen before. I still need a bandage on one finger. For this I give her 1 star.I am only writing this because it seems to be a problem/pattern in the reviews. Not sure if it is the training or how management is telling them to do this. Again my nails did NOT have anything on them that required the use of a dremel to remove either it or my cuticles/finger skin.
Terrible customer service. Nail tech men were so rude didn’t even help me put on my sandals and ruined my nails when I put them on. Also if you don’t get gel nails they will coat your nails super thick so they don’t dry it was a waste of money will never be back again first and last time here .
I absolutely love this place! i have been to other nail salons due to time constraints and my schedule, but will always come here and recommend this place. Bee is amazing and always exceeds what i request. she genuinely enjoys doing nails and her artwork is superb. i always get compliments on my nails. the receptionist and staff are wonderful. the atmosphere is relaxing and the complimentary drinks are delicious!
IN-FREAKIN-CREDIBLE!!!! Bobby the host noticed it was my 1st time, Renishas 3nd and proceeded to blow me away with superb intro to services and my wants. Rachel was my nail technician and was amazing and skilled.. such a soft professional touch. Explained the new nail dip method...so I went with that... love it. Nick, my daughter in-laws technician was phenomenal as well... Free had jewel design and other last minute asks were welcomed... Beyond amazing service and skill. I definitely have found my new nail home... OH did I mention the beverages both non-alcoholic and alcoholic full good beverages. I had the Mango Sangria and Nisha had the Goblin After Sunset. Im really hoping to upload these pics so yall can see. BTW Im SUPER PICKY when it comes to customer service. And if I could give then 10 stars I would...in a heartbeat.
Luxx Nail Bar is my favorite nail salon! I have tried several places and none of them come close to this place! The atmosphere is amazing! The people are awesome and my nail girl - Bee is absolutely the BEST! I show her an idea and she runs with it and does her own thing! I never leave disappointed!!!!
My pedicure was good, my nails were so-so, the gentleman that did my daughters princess pedi/mani was very kind but the pricing for kids mani/pedi with gel is pretty high and that’s comparing it to Hawaii and New England prices where we have lived. Just under $100 (pre tip) for a kids gel pedi/mani (very limited effort) and stickers as the design seems wild.
I am giving this business three stars due to they gave my friend a great manicure and pedicure and me a mediocre manicure. My nail tech did not bother to even out the length of my nails before she started painting them. When I left the shop, and back to where I was staying, I noticed how rough the edges of my manicure were. I had to smooth them myself. My gel manicure started chipping on day six. I dont live in New Braunfels so I cant go back to have anything repaired. My friend and I were walk-ins so we were given whoever was available. My friend got a male nail tech and he seemed to be very good. He was patient, careful, and very professional. My nail tech was very nice but apparently not the best I could have hoped for. I also thought they were a bit pricey for the service, about $20 higher than I would pay at home.
I have tested out several nail salons in the area and finally (after many fails) I found my way to Luxx. Amy does my nails (I have gotten acrylics of all colors, shapes, and sizes) and her attention to detail is truly something special. She even has her own nude color that we call “Amy Pink”. It’s my favorite! Also - David is pretty much always at the front desk when I go, and always provides excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. Five stars all the way!
David at the front desk is always welcoming and fun to talk to. For the technicians, Mai is the best! She takes her time and pays attention to detail to make sure you leave happy and with beautiful nails!
Avoid buying gift cards from them! It’s a scam. I received a two hundred dollar gift card from my husband as a valentines gift to only be told the card was empty. I tried it a second time a visit later and same thing. My husband provided a receipt for 200 dollars so the money was paid. Don’t waste your money on gift cards!
We have many options around for nail salons but my daughters and I always end up coming back to Luxx! They are professional and the quality of their work/nail art is the best. Facility is always very clean. Five stars!

I just moved to the area, after reading reviews, I went in to make an appointment last week, the gentleman making the appointment was very nice, we discussed what I wanted, I went in today with an appointment at 11. The girls at the front would not listen to my request. I wanted a pedicure and manicure. It was the worst job I have ever received. She ended up not painting my toes, nor could she do a fill in. She cut my cuticles numerous times causing them to bleed. The cost was $102.00. I would not recommend this nail salon. To me, getting a pedicure and manicure is one of the most relaxing things I enjoy. Today was a waste of money.

I am extremely unhappy with the service I received here. I came in for a fill and grant it I didn’t have an appointment but they were able to take me as a walk-in. I immediately sat down and was given a drink but my nail tech was HORRENDOUS!! She drilled my natural nail with the highest setting on her drill and kept hurting me, literally burned down my natural nail where my fingers were throbbing. She did this multiple times and I kept telling her to stop hurting me but she insisted it was my fault. I will NEVER return here. My nails hurt so much after this appointment and she drilled my natural nail way too much where it turned bright pink indicating that she had drilled all the way down! NEVER AGAIN! My nails were also crooked and super thick! Very messy and disgusting station, NOT SANITARY! I have had them removed so I don’t get an infection. Just look at the extensive damage she caused to my natural nail, it hurts so bad and she drilled right through it to my skin underneath my nail! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place AT ALL! If I could give negative stars I would!
Honestly way too overpriced for the quality of the manicure that I got.. Its not wonder this place is so dead when you go in there.. I won’t be going back. New Braunfels needs better services.

My girlfriend doesnt write reviews but I do. I have to say this is a great place to get your nails done and the staff is very friendly including Bobby! Also 1 complimentary free alcoholic drink which is relaxing. (For me at least) They have a salon, you can get your eyebrows, foot massage and other waxing stuff. We had a little mix up with that, but despite that the manager handled everything flawlessly and took care of us! I definitely recommend this place to anyone!P.S. these arent my nails 😂 just my girls
Photo my nails grown out about ten days, but they still look dang good! I love this place. Im always, always, always nervous about new nail places and usually follow my techs if they switch salons, but during Covid I lost contact with my usual girl. I was devastated about it until I found my go-to gal here at Luxx!!! Bee does such a quality job and Im always so impressed by her attention to detail. Nails are expensive and I will not walk out without them being on fleek. Call it entitlement or whatever but we pay a lot of money for something well see every day. I want to love my nails. Now I do!!! Great place and staff. Super sweet and Abby is fantastic as well. I would post a photo of my pedicure but nobody should have to look at feet unsolicited.
UPDATE: I was rooting for this place but they let me down! I hate writing bad reviews but I can’t lie about the nail service. My nails started lifting before 2 weeks, which was surprising to me because I can go 3 to 4 weeks when I get my nails done. Anywho.. I went back in, to have them filled (paid more $$$) and now it’s less than a week and they’re lifting again. I was able to get in again to fix the ones that were lifting, which I left a tip, so more $$$. Now today, it’s been less than two weeks again, and 2 nails fell off and the rest are lifting. I give up. I will try somewhere else.Ive been looking for a nail salon since I moved here in January. I kept going back and fourth with a few places around NB. I was skeptical about this location because some of the reviews but I’m happy I gave it a try. Before you walk in Sign In on their website. I learned this the hard way. But thankfully I was able to get in a few minutes later. The salon was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. I was seated with Amy. She was very polite and listened to what I wanted. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind and she did even better. I’m definitely happy with the service and will return.
Best place in New Braunfels to get the SNS/Dip Powder. Although their prices keep going up, they will do it right every time, with 100% powder, all natural, no added fillers. I get white glitter on the top part of the white nail with light pink on the bottom. Been coming here on/off since 2019. Im impressed every time, but sad that its getting more expensive.

I never usually do reviews, but when it comes to hygiene issues, this place baffled me. I went and got my nails done here & had Eric the last two times. Both times, he cut me numerous times with the cuticle clippers because he was rushing. The first time I ended up getting an infection, and this last time I watched him scrape another person’s cuticle skin out of the instrument before proceeding to do mine, then cutting me again. Zero sterilization was used before cutting me, which is disgusting. I called to pass the message along to management & was told the manager would be calling me from his personal number. Nobody reached out. There are no sanitation procedures here, and they are overpriced. Go elsewhere.

I had a pedicure by someone who clearly had not been doing this long and appeared fearful but at least he did not cut me. I had my nails dipped by David who cut my finger but that’s not the worst of it. 3-4 weeks later one of the dips fell off so I wondered if the others would come off as easily. Sure enough they did and to my horror 4 nails were green and on the other hand there was 1. I really thought this was going to be a top notch salon but guess again. Since I’m not an expert I couldn’t tell you what he did or didn’t do but if you like fungus go to Luxx. I paid $122.00 for my pedicure & nail fungus. I don’t recommend this place at all. A better place is Signature Nails by JC Pennys in the mall.I also got a text message I believe from the manager and she said no one named David ever worked there. I called to make an appointment with David and the were very ready to make with someone who never worked there. They also lied. Not a good place.

I’ve been coming here since they opened 4-5 years ago. I’m SUPER picky. One thing I love about this place is everyone does a great job… Bee is my favorite but everyone does good! Also the staff is friendly and fun, the place is always clean and they treat you so well. I probably have the highest expectations of anyone you’d ever meet — so trust me when I say this place is my fave.

I had the most amazing nail dip service today! My nails are a little different shape, and most nail techs seem to just do a regular service. Which I have learned to be satisfied with. Jason went out of his way, and spent a lot of extra time to make my nails look perfect! Thank you! I am so very pleased!!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place was truly the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. My family consisted of 3 people having pedicures and 2 having manicures, manicures didn’t have bad customer service, but not great results. The pedicures were the worst and the most ungodly customer service. After going back and forth with the staff on the colors we chose upon our arrival, gave up on getting what we requested. Ended up with an infection from getting cut with the Dremel (to remove traditional polish, NOT gel). The manicures were completed first, the man working the front desk comes back to us getting pedicures (along with 3 other customers) and loudly says “it’s $378 (gave him the card)…. And how much of a tip do you want to give each of them”. Never in the world have been asked to pay in the middle of services, especially 3 hours before they closed, and then asked in front of numerous people what I am going to tip.Topping on the cake was when the rude staff member guy fell out of his chair while being rude to his fellow female coworker!!Avoid this place.
No where better in NB to get your nails done. GREAT points system and a wonderful front desk when the gentleman with the glasses is running and scheduling things. When anyone else is up there it can seem chaotic and delayed. He needs a raise for all the work he does at the front. Their online scheduling portal and waitlist system is the best I’ve ever experienced for a nail salon.
I’ve been to this salon a few times before (I don’t live here but I have family close by so I visit NB frequently) and haven’t had any major issues. This week I came in to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. During my visit, everything went fine. I was serviced quickly (midday on a Wednesday) and went about my day. Literally the next day, 3 of my nails had already chipped. I was unable to return until 3 days later to have them repaired only to be told it would be 1.5-2 hours waiting for a tech who could fix it. I have never had this poor of a customer service experience in a salon when clearly there was a mess up on their end to have these chips happen with a gel manicure so quickly after it was done. Will not be returning.

I went to get my feet done. I was waiting to be seen however several employees walked past me, went to several other people that got there after me. Overall bad communication and service.
Nail polish samples don’t seem to match colors on nails, they didn’t offer our party any drinks, my gel toe polish bubbled up and peeled off within less than 24 hours, they did ok on my full set of nails. Was very spendy. Over $125 for pedicure and full set of acrylics with gel polish. Staff seemed annoyed with us.
I was treated very unprofessionally when I was confused as to the location of my appointment. The lady at the front desk was rude and dressed unprofessional and told me 2x to leave the premises I’ve been going there for years up until the mask mandate was applied and I choose a different location to receive salon services. I was never insulted like that ever in a business anywhere at anytime.I will be speaking to the owner and following up on the conduct of this one employee I did not get a name, but I do know who she is if I had to describe her.Very upsetting and uncalled for!!

This was my first and my last time here. Although its nice they have complimentary drinks, thats not what I went there for. I got dip on my natural nails(my nails are super strong & healthy) & ive never had chipping or separation from dip. Within 4 days my dip powder chipped & my natural nails have been ruined 😒 I suggest you buy better products instead of booze. Definitely not worth $50

Went in for a pedicure with my friend and daughter. The whole experience was awful from the minute we walked in the door. Prices are way over priced and not worth the rude service. They say they offer 2 free drinks per customer however I asked for a drink 5 times and was more than half way done w my pedicure when I finally received the drink. All customers who came in after I did had drinks but for whatever reason would not bring me one. The guy who did pedicure did not cut,trim, file, or shape toe nails. Picked one the top pedicures that was over $80 and felt more like an express service. Didnt smooth out my feet. Basically only thing he did was put 5 different lotions massage and color toes. Nothing more. So disappointed and will never return.

Was recommended to Luxx Nail Bar by a coworker. When I walked in the shop i was welcomed with a warm greeting by Bobby and another gentleman. I didnt even have to wait five minutes for Tracy to take me in. She worked her magic and gave me the most beautiful nail work ever. The pedicure was so relaxing and amazing that I felt completely at ease with everyone on my first visit. Everyone was so professional and friendly. The quality of work is exceptional and their work lasts. I am now a devoted customer and recommend this salon to everyone. You cant beat it. The quality of service is worth every penny.

I had about half a bottle of champagne for free, so that’s nice and helped with the process. I also love the color selection here. There are soooo many to pick from and I always get the exact color I’m feeling.Let’s talk pedicure:Cons: My person, Lance, was just very slow and too gentle. It may have just been a personality clash, but I’m a quick and borderline “hurt me during a massage” person. It seemed like everyone else was in and out while I was there for 2.5 hours (again, with no full set/dip/shellac). During my pedicure, my “massage” was him lightly rubbing lotion/scrub on my legs for minutes at a time. I felt like asking him to stop and move on to the next step a few times since I was not getting an actual pressurized massage, but I did not. He also let everything sit until it was barely luke warm. The parafin wax was almost dry when he put my feet in and it gave him problems when he tried to take it off because he waited far too long to dip my foot in. Up next were the ”hot stones”, but they were not hot. I wanted the heat, so that was disappointing. Especially after not getting an actual massage. I paid $70 for the above.Pro: I do like the color.Let’s talk manicure:Front desk person led me to the “LUXX mini manicure” since I was getting a pricier pedicure. The menu for manicures says that for $22 you will get a “6 mins Scrub, Cooling Mask, Hot Towel Wrap, and Lotion Massage 6 mins”. This was not true. The massage and all this other stuff doesn’t happen. It is a push back/cut of cuticles and polish for over $20.When asking staff about the pricing and services at check out, I was told that “they haven’t updated their menu and the manicure no longer comes with those services”. This was not stated upfront. I was led to believe something false and then I was made to feel dumb at check out when asking why I didn’t receive the 6 mins Scrub, Cooling Mask, Hot Towel Wrap, and Lotion Massage 6 mins.Can you not take a permanent marker and correct it? Reception was on her phone as I walked up to pay. Have her fix the menu or at least train her to let people know what they’ll actually be getting.I paid my bill in full but I may not return after this encounter.
First time visiting this salon. Glad we decided to pay them a visit, all the techs we dealt with were very helpful. We had several services done. Mani, fills, pedicures and wax. Haley, Daisy, and Mr. Bobby in the front was a delight to work with, very accommodating and welcoming for first time guest. A bit on the expensive side, they provide a 25%off for new customers but don’t be fooled they nickel and dime you and charge every little thing separately which normally is included in other salons, therefore there is no true discount. But; the salon is beautiful and they offer delicious bar drinks. Would recommend and maybe visit them again. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

First time here & I am blown away. The manager, Vence, was very professional & made me feel at home right when I walked in. Very polite & personable. The staff was very friendly & made me feel relaxed. Some salons try to SALE SALE SALE, but Luxx Nail Bar was very professional & I felt totally relaxed the whole time. They took their time on me, and didn’t rush my experience. They exceeded my expectations.10/10 recommend. Wish I lived in NB, I would come here all the time! :)
My friend and I had pedicures done 5/16/19. We were walk-ins and checked in via tablet. Within 2 minutes we were greeted/seated in the pedicure area.The chairs were the most comfortable chairs I’ve been in. After being sat down we were greeted by our nail technicians Alan and Helen. They provided us with the menu of pedicures and it also included the list of complimentary drinks. Alan and Helen were AMAZING! They were friendly,professional and efficient. Our nails turned out beautifully. Thank you Alan & Helen, we will for sure be back just for your amazing service!
I love this place. They do an amazing job. I have tried it out twice now. However, the prices are about $30 more than my nail salon in San Antonio that is excellent. The cost factor is what made me give them 3 stars and not 4.
First time here for pedis and brought my two daughters (14 &4). Everyone was very nice and the front desk man was very helpful. It was my youngest daughters first time getting her nails done professionally and she was very excited. The lady that did her mani pedi was very patient with her and even fixed her nail after she messed it up from touching it while waiting for it to dry. Was very pleased with the service. Thought the $10 up charge for “extra color” (4yr old wanted rainbow nails) was a little pricey seeing as it’s the same amount of polish just a different color, but overall happy. Thank you for making her first time experience a good one!
Sometimes this place is great, but this time it was just average. Nail job was ok, but they messed up one of the nails trying to hurry me out of the chair. It felt impersonal and rushed this time.
So I am in the cosmetology field as well (hairstylist) so of course when it comes to nails I am very picky because I know what a good, strong nail should look like. Anyways, I found out about Bee through a friend and now I will never see anyone other than her. Bees artistry is beyond any other nail tech I have ever met, when I show her inspiration pictures of designs I want she always has a way to feed off of that design and make it her own and make it honestly 10x better than the inspiration picture. Also, just coming to get my nails done by her is more than just the nails, I always enjoy our conversations, she always remembers when I have gone on trips or just little things from past conversations and it just makes her so personable. Then, theres her husband, Jason who not only gives the best pedicure but they last forever! Its been a month since my last pedicure and I dont have a single chip in on my toe polish - plus his personality is just as awesome as Bee, they truly are a great match! And finally, I cannot finish this review with out giving a special shout out to Luxxs awesome receptionist, David who is always so accommodating to my schedule and he is just always rocking the best attitude and I love it!
I’ve been coming to Luxx for about 2 years now and have always loved them! Nathan and Amy have always done a fantastic job with my manicures. After a recent couple out of the ordinary less than ideal visits, the Luxx team reached out and wanted to make it right. They’re a company that cares about quality and clients and it’s shows! I checked in online after calling and being told it was over an hour wait for walk ins. It was actually really convenient to continue shopping and be able to track where I was in line for the next available appointment. The customer service was the best part. After arriving they addressed by name, and updated me consistently on how much longer it would be. The pedicure I received was fantastic. Ivan even gave me a blanket when he realized I was cold (I am always cold). I have been to several nail salons in NB. This is now the only place I will go. Thank you!
My sister and I went to go get our nails done here and they turned out looking amazing. The price was a little high but is understood bc of the designs we got. I would rate this salon a 5 but the man working at the front desk was very rude and made up rules as we were there. While my sister was getting her nails done, I asked the nice man doing them if we could bring drinks in and he politely said yes, but as me and my friend brought drinks from a coffee shop next door, the man at the front desk came outside as we were right by and told us we can’t bring it in. He obviously has a problem with underage girls, we were quite and polite while there but he was rude and hostile which my mom was not happy about especially because the bill was 150$. The lady doing my nails did amazing but due to the front desk man I will not come back again.
Management has definitely changed. My nail tech, Bee, is fabulous but NOT the salon. My last visit I had an appointment and STILL waited 35 minutes. Then, the nail tech cut 5 of my nail beds as he was filling them, making them bleed and they are still sore. I’m cleaning them constantly so they do not get infected. The visit before last, they mixed up my appointment. I, nor my family, will be coming back here which is sad because I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened.
By far the absolute best nail salon ever!!! Felt so comfortable and it was a great time. They are all perfectionist at their jobs and have awesome customer service. They have a great sense of humor, super sweet, and friendly. Definitely recommend coming here. Also definitely will be returning and will become a regular customer!
I typically go to Bee who is amazing. She is very mindful of big-time and does great work. However, I took a friend in today and our experience was awful. I don’t mind the wait but, they should tell you they’re ready for you and take an additional 30 minutes after you’ve been seated.It was my friends first time and I was embarrassed for her to pay for the service. I was truly shocked by how bad her nails looked.
I went to luxx for the first time today and I got the milk and honey pedicure. And I will never go to any other nail salon in New Braunfels again! By far the best pedicure Ive ever gotten. Regrettably I didnt get the name of the nail tech who did mine, but she did such a good job, a lot of attention to detail and didnt seem rushed like so many nail techs do. They offer complimentary drinks while you get your service and they are actually really tasty too! My toes look beautiful and Im so relaxed after my experience. I went with 2 other ladies and they both had the same experience so it seems like they have an all around good staff.
I have only gone to this Nail salon to get my eyebrows done. Although the waxing has always been excellent, the service in this establishment has been horrible to say the least. Lucky for them they are always busy and when I decided to finally have a pedicure and facial done, I booked an appointment beforehand (always busy). I get to my apt and I’m welcomed with a sign saying they are all booked up (lucky me I have an appointment). I go ahead and tell them I have two different appointments, one for my eyebrows and the other for a pedicure. I was informed that I have to wait an hour since they are all booked up. I told them I have an appointment for 11:00. The one guy said he didn’t have me on the list. I showed him the confirmation text I got and then he went back and said oh, there’s your appointment. He then repeated that I will have to wait an hour. It is very unprofessional for a nail salon to have appointment setups and not adhere to it. It is customer service again to not believe a customer the first time they say something. I would think that the customer is always right (not really) and you would do the best you can to accommodate. The two guys just standing at the front counter could have rolled up their sleeve to help as well.
Ehh. That’s about it. Average. Not good, definitely not great, average. Would I come back to this establishment, probably not. A few key reasons like the lack of in-the-chair service would be why. However, I would also not prevent anyone else from trying them. I hope your experience is 5-stars!
I’ll start with the positive, the place has an awesome selection of complimentary drinks and snacks. I usually go to NB quarry nails but they were on a wait today. I was impressed on first impression by this salon but the nail tech Haley ruined the experience. In short, she rushed my pedicure and cut my toe nails too short without asking. She rushed through the cleaning process and the “massage” was her just rubbing lotion on my legs and sometimes my foot for 2 minutes. Helen worked on my sister and you could see a night and day difference in her experience to mine.
I went to the Luxx Nail Spa & really liked it! I thought they were professional yet relaxed. They serve a complimentary drink (the specialty coffee was great!). She was patient & sweet as she worked with me on exactly what color I wanted & explained a couple things I didnt understand (bc Ive only been a couple other times in my life 🤣). She did a fantastic job on my nails, even the little detail I asked for 😍 The diamond came off the next day so I went in and she quickly fixed it. I got the dipped nails & they (including the diamonds) lasted until my nails grew out.
The staff beats my expectations every time and they always remember who you are and what you like! The manager Bobby is hilarious and fun, he makes sure to remember you, will ensure if youre not satisfied he fixes it himself and is always dressed to impress!Its truly a get away and relaxation spa from any of their pedicures. In over two years Ive yet to have a bad experience. Hints why my boyfriend never says no to a treat here, Im always refreshed and happy afterwards.Ive had every pedicure, manicure and acrylic nails, facials, waxes and a massage here twice. They have a rewards system that basically pays you to come!

Pros: Very friendly and professional at the front desk, seemed glad to help. Very easy process checking in for a first time goer.Cons: I paid for Shellac, and it has been just now a week since that time and two nails have already popped off. Considering the $55 pricing, this is very disappointing. Also, it does not take a practiced eye to see that certain parts of the salon were very dirty, and had not been cleaned in some time.
I always love going to Luxx! It is the best place in New Braunfels. They definitely are busy, so I would recommending making an appointment first, but if thats not an option they always work people in as fast as possible. I have been here a ton of times and always am happy with the service.Bobby is great and always attentive. He is professional and friendly, and does a great job of managing everything, as well as keeping everything moving smoothly for clientsJenny is the bestttttt! I have been here a few times and every time I feel like I am given a 5-star experience. The receptionist is always kind and quick to book an appointment, the nail artists are very professional and do incredible work. I usually get the dipped nail, and it lasts me a few weeks (without any chipping!) before I take it off because its grown out. This past manicure has been my favorite so far and was perfect for graduation! Id recommend calling in advance to book an appointment.
Today was my first time trying this nail salon and it wasn’t a terrible experience, but could have been better. My pedicure is decent, she didn’t get all the dead skin off and the paints a little sloppy. I feel as if the two men that are in the front were rushing the ladies, one of the gentlemen popped his head in every two minutes staring down the technicians. They had the other lady do my nails while the other lady did my feet. Which I was fine with, but I felt as if they were both rushed and could have done a much better job if they weren’t. You could feel the tension every time the man came over and stared down the technicians.

Awesome experience the first time there. The gentleman giving me my pedicure almost out me to sleep ha ha. And may I say I like the different drinks they offer. First place I have gone that my nails werent sore as all get out the next day . Ill be visiting again soon.
This was my first time ever doing a pedicure. It was a girls trip weekend and we ended it by doing something relaxing. I have to say if I didnt live so far away, I would be going back to Lux. Everyone was so special and nice. Enjoyed my relaxing time and I believe my girlfriends did too.
I was a regular customer to Luxx for several years and at my visit last week I got the same as always a pedi and full set. The nail tech that did my pedi not only burned me with the drill thing, but filed my nails so thin that they are now splitting in half. If I don’t loose my whole toenail with a week I will be shocked!! I called to talk to Ryan about it and he said let it heal for a couple days and offered 20% off… heal? Nails don’t grow back together!! This is painful and ridiculous. Do not recommend at all. While some techs are wonderful, that have to know that they are risking things by allowing inexperienced folks provide services.
Stopped in today without an appointment and waited only about 5 minutes to be seated. Laura did a beautiful job on my nails. Another sweet lady did my pedicure but I cant remember her name. I love that there are no TVs blaring and the music is soft and relaxing. It was a great way to take a few minutes to relax in the middle of the day. Also, the complimentary Pina Colada was delicious! Ill definitely be back. Its a little bit of a drive for me, but it will be worth it. I highly recommend.
I’ve been coming here for about a year for dip and I really look forward to it every 3 weeks. They pay attention to detail which I really appreciate because I am super picky. My nails always look great and if I ever have a problem they fix it right away. I recently smashed my finger with a dumbbell at the gym and broke my nail and they fixed it for free even though it was my fault and I fully expected to pay to fix it. It was very nice and I appreciate that they do these little things for the customers.
I love Luxx! The environment is professional and clean ALL the time. After yourefinished, Vince comes, behind with a steam cleaner to disinfect the area. The bar area is spotless and the drinks are delicious! They take the time to learn your name and remember you when you return. The staff is always helpful and patient in finding what the best service is for you. Luxx is the most clean, affordable, and enjoyable nail bar Ive found 💙💚
First time visiting this location. Mimi got me right back into a chair. She was great!! My pedicure came out perfect and she did wonderful in my cuticles! I think I found a new shop!! 😁😁
Today was my first time here and I am hooked. I have small nail beds and I asked for a white tip. Usually when I get them done they look chunky and like I have little kid nails. Steven took the time to make the nail look natural and was extremely careful with my cuticles which are very sensitive and almost always hurt afterward (this time they do not) I’m use to being charged $40-$50 because it takes more time on my nails but I was only charged $35. I’m very impressed and will return.
My wife loved it. Quality work and service. They dont appear to appreciate men getting pedicures though. They started me 15 minutes after my wife and finished me 10 minutes before. Skipped multiple steps. Hot stones for example. My wife will definitely be back, ill stick to the shopping mall places.
I will not be returning here. 8 times out of 10 my nails break within a week. Hayden and Ivan are so rude along with one of the guys who works the front desk, I wish I knew his name. I just went and got 2 of my nails fixed because they broke within 4 days of getting them done and they look terrible. They are not shaped the same as the others and the color is blotchy. On top of that, the nail tech, Hayden, laughed at me and made me feel stupid when I said something about them not being shaped the same. Im so disappointed. Im not spending anymore money here.
Honestly, if you can get past the rude guy at the front desk, this place is awesome! Most of the staff is so nice and accommodating. Jennie did my pedicure and manicure perfectly! She’s so sweet and funny. She made me feel completely comfortable. If it’s your first time here, request her!!
Walked in with hardly any wait time. They were super sweet to my 3 year old who accompanied me for a girls day. My girl, Amy, did an amazing job on my full set, and she also painted my daughters nail for free!! Super sweet! Definitely my new NB nail spot
I did so much research of nail salons in New Braunfels. Luxx got the best reviews but I was still leary. I went in the morning and Hayden did my gel nails. He was super nice and patient ( I kept changing my mind on the polish color) Bobby at the front desk helped me decide. I am so pleased with my new nails! 🥰 Oh, and they also have complimentary alcoholic drinks😉
I went to Luxx today for the first time. When I told David and the technician what I wanted they said they couldnt do it. (Two coats of clear dip with one coat of pink) Davids response to all of my requests, was we dont do that at this salon, every time. When I asked they clean under my nail bed as it felt like there was a lot of dip residue etc under it, when I asked for using two dip colors, when I told him about my bad experience at another salon, he said oh well I only know about this salon everything was defensive with little customer service outside of his smile. When I left and showed him my nails and said I really prefer something more clear he then said Well not all of our techs can do that, depends on their skill level and if you dont get the same tech they may not know what you want I said well I do know what I want and Ive said it several times. He was just very combative with each response. I left picking stuff off of my fingers and hands for an hour. I will NEVER go back there again. I also never write reviews but this was such an odd and unfortunate experience. I plan to go somewhere else to have them completely re-done.
My friend and I went in for an eyebrow wax and we’re sat immediately. Looked promising. Tech came in with an attitude, did my friends eyebrows then left. I waited. They asked my friend to get up from her seat to sit another client and sat another client. They begin servicing both of those women before me even tho I had been waiting. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED. ended up leaving. Wouldn’t recommend this place for waxing services
The gentleman at the front desk greated me immediately and asked me what I needed. They sat me with a color book and my nail tech was with me within minutes! I was offered a drink and my nail tech went to work immediately. I am new to the area and have had my fair share of bad experiences with new salons. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my nail tech worked (I dont like to sit for too long especialy in new places around people I dont know) and how beautiful my nails turned out!
I have yet to see a more poorly run business re their “mask protocol” since this pandemic began. This business requires a mask to be worn - only when entering the nail salon - NOT while you are actually sitting and receiving the service. So if the mask protocol is in place to protect your staff, okay. But then why not require it while you’re receiving service? That said, if you either forget one or don’t know their policy prior to arriving, they do not have any disposable ones up front to supply - which is the first business I’ve ever walked into who has a mask requirement but doesn’t supply a mask. I was perfectly happy to wear one if it’s their policy, but instead I was refused for my appointment for not having a mask on me. To top it off, when I walked in both workers up front weren’t wearing theirs. Which is perfectly fine with me, except I find it odd that I can’t be seated without a mask when the people up front wear theirs around their chin. Incredibly unprofessional on ALL levels. Will NEVER be back.
Didnt care to return after my first visit. My nail tech kept making fun of everything I was saying. My $50 set of powder dip started chipping on more than one nail. I called within their time frame (5 days) to replace it but I could only see them that day or I would have to repay for the service. I couldnt make it that day, so they wont be receiving my business any more.
Two stars for the benefit of the doubt. My wife and I walked in, placed our names on the list, were told it would be an hour wait, happily accepted, and went to wait at the neighboring bar. Several minutes later, we received a text message informing us that Luxx would not be able to accommodate us. We walked back to the salon and were told they were too busy and the technicians “wouldn’t like it if they had to stay late.” Which is fair, but don’t let us get on the list and make plans to wait, only to be turned away.Would be one star for service but I’ve heard this place is great, so two stars since I wasn’t able to try it.
Super unhappy. I came in Tuesday for my first time. I asked for the dip and wanted tips. Two technicians were pushy about how great my nails were and that I needed to do my natural nails. After getting uncomfortable I went with it. My nails are way too short and aren’t even at all. If I wanted my nails to look unprofessional I would’ve just done them myself and saved my money because I paid way too much for them to look this way.
Really depends on your technician. I went twice - the first time, the technician spoke very little English but did an excellent job on my gel/shellac manicure which lasted several weeks. The second time, although the technician was pleasant, she over-filed my nails way too thin and my gel/shellac started chipping in less than 24 hours!! Too inconsistent for my business- my regular nail polish done at home lasts longer! I did go back in and they fixed it (had to completely redo since so many were chipping) at no charge. Unfortunately, within a week the redo chipped on three nails. May be good for other services but would hesitate on getting gel manicures.
Bobby & Jay helped me out a lot!They were both very funny & friendly.Bobby had a killer acrylic pinky nail & Jay taught me about the Hello Kitty airport in Japan.On top of all that my manicure came out really nice & ill definitely be visiting Lux again!Thank You to all of the staff! Walked in without an appointment and was treated promptly by their receptionist! She was so sweet and so nice and got me and my mom to our pedicure seats quickly. Got to our seats and started the pedicure and it was so painful. I said ouch multiple times and the lady doing my toes looked at me and laughed and continued to dig into my toes making it even more painful. Don’t think she spoke hardly any English. Will not get a pedicure done here ever again. If it hadn’t been for the nice receptionist our experience would have been 10x’s worse.

Greaaaat customer service. As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were greeted with a smile. We went in for the first time and had Ivan (hilarious) and Mr.Lan. We loved the atmosphere and how inviting the staff is. It isn’t quiet and for the most part, they seem to be happy. I am tired of going to nail salons and not seeing a smile on the staff’s faces. Luckily at Luxx, that is not the case! Not only is the atmosphere excellent, but the quality of the work is astounding. I definitely recommend this place.
First time and was very satisfied. Wont give a 5 stars because there are two guys at the reception, Bobby very nice but the other one is rude. Needs to work on his attitude or get a different job. I asked about a gift certificate I was given for Xmas. He didnt even look at it and told me I needed to use it in San Antonio saloon not at NB. When it was bought, my sister was told it can be used at either one. Such a nice place needs a better person to be at the reception. Maybe he should learn from Bobby.
Great nail salon. Classy, friendly, and clean. They did a great job the first few times.Aside from that, I give 4 stars for the fact they started rushing on mine and my friends pedicures because they were closing soon.And, they refused us our second drink even though our pedicure came with 2.

I came in to get full set and pedicure for my birthday and wanted my colors to match. The lady (jenny?) who did my pedicure was great and thr color on my toenails was the exact color i wanted. My nail experience was not good. I asked for a second drink figuring since i was having multiple services I was able to and was told only 1, well a little later I read where certain drinks 2 ARE allowed depending on the drinks and that could have been explained to me. Well I asked him about the colors cause I did notice it was a little off and he assured me it would match. It did not. As he is painting my nails whose shapes are not uniform i did not like one and asked him to do it a different way he slammee open a drawer and jerked a napkin out to wipe it off, then another time i reminded him to not paint a certain nail and he sucked his teeth! At the conclusion i got a jolly thank you have a nice day. No lotion, or oil. In the last 5 years of consistently getting my nails done never experienced this. The ladies who were at the front desk were great and did give me 10 off and offered to repaint my toes but my toes werent the problem and i was just ready to go. As I was getting this done for my birthday it is very upsetting and discouraging as this was my first time there. My pedicure experience was great, the drink was great, and the ladies at the register were very nice..just my nail experience was off putting.
I have been looking for 4 months for someone who can do my Pink/White nails. Lam far exceeded my expectations and Tiffany gives an amazing pedicure. The staff are friendly and salon is very nice. I can highly recommend to anyone looking.......

Had my feet my nails and my eyebrows and disappointed.One the lady had the water too hot and it started to over flow on the floor.My toes had too much clear nail polish you can see where it dried and I had her do them again. A whole hour and a half just on my feet and after my hands were done I waited another 5 mins in the room for my eyebrows. Mind you slow and then she did my eyebrows for 20 mins and they’re not even matching ! Look I don’t know what happen to this place it used to be good. Got my $10 back but I can’t get my eyebrows fixed .
I am in town visiting and saw this salon right behind my hotel so decided to give it a try. Mimi was amazing. She got an ingrown toenail out that no one else has been able to. Clean , great people and great service. Thank you
To everyone from Dallas, Houston and major cities visiting. Please read. I do not write reviews, however, after trying 6 different nail salons in 45 days in this area I believe I have the right to write one at least. And I do not believe that New Braunfels have enough professionals well trained inside salons to do nails and meet clients expectations. ILuxe Nail Bar New Braunfels were one of the places I visited due to positive reviews’on google. They were so inviting and happy to provide us the best services when we arrived but some of their staff couldn’t even polished our toe nails. Many of their staff were very knowledgeable but some had no clue what they were doing. The place is new, very cleaned and nicely decorated. They also have have extremely nice pedicure chairs. It is a relaxing place and just a wonderful environment to get away from a hectic world. However, the ridiculous a la carte price point we paid for some of their nonprofessional, amateur and inexperienced staff has caused me and some of my friends to never trust this place again. $145.00 for manicure and pedicure with shellac polish for each person wasn’t worth to us. Some of us went to get our pedicures redone the same week in Austin.Go to Austin and San Antonio for your nail services if you are visiting.
I have lived in NB for 3 years & FINALLY found my nail tech! I am SOOO happy with Tracey at LUXX. I have had my nails done by a few other techs there as well before i heard about Tracey & i have always been happy with the job they do. They have great drinks & service & i really like everyone that works there. So happy that i finally found a great nail salon! Yay! ❤️
My top coat started to peel off and turn a different color after a week and a half. I booked an appointment for an acrylic set and a pedicure but after three long hours of working on my set with NO designs I didn’t have enough time for my feet. The service was not good and after contacting the owner about this she read my message but did not answer.
It took 45 mins to even be seated. It was not busy at all. I spent 2 HOURS here to get one sub-par pedicure . I only wanted a basic pedi and Shellac mani. Nothing fancy.I wouldn’t recommend. It took too long to be seated, have the pedicure tech show up, and then the paint was uneven and corners were missed. I get they’re trying to sell a higher end atmosphere. But when the employees are speaking and cursing in front of customers it definitely doesn’t feel like that kind of environment. Professionalism isn’t a thing here.They overcharged a basic pedi that was supposed to be $15 and it came out to $27 without the tip.I didn’t get to even get my shellac manicure because they wanted me to wait for someone else to do my nails.
Been going here consistently for a almost a year now. I request Nathan every time, he’s the best! Never disappoints, he makes my nails look flawless, always. Definitely recommend!
I have been coming here for years. The technicians are fabulous! They do a wonderful job. I dont like the fact that they dont allow appointments on Fridays, Saturday or Sundays but aside from that - no complaints. Pleased with all services provided.
Ive been here twice since they have opened. Once for a manicure and the second most recent for a pedicure. Both times it was hard to not notice the male up front that is either just a receptionist or the manager being the receptionist and his condescending attitude. Aside from that the place has been a nice place to get nails done with friendly technicians.
Shout out to my peeps @ Lux Nail Bar. We are living and working in some uncharted waters. This establishment is doing an awesome job keeping up with cleaning. I feel so safe. Bobby is a 10 in my eyes for working his magic always managing with a Smile on his face. Nathan and Hailey for always doing a great job on my hands and feet 💕.
The quality of service here is impeccable! Cannot recommend enough. Bobby is super helpful and makes everyone feel welcome! I have never had a nail tech do a mediocre job. Highly recommend:)
Amazing! These guys really helped calm me down and fix my nails that A DIFFERENT salon has messed up. Very professional and absolutely gorgeous work. I can’t stress how helpful and amazing they are!! WillNever go anywhere else.
First google review and worth it- Extremely disappointed in the service I received today is an understatement. I’ve been to Luxx several times and have never been more grossed out by how unsanitary everything was (although masks are required?), looked like the place hadn’t been even swept or wiped down in a year and they rushed through my $100 service, one girl sitting next to me was crying because no one ever helped her after 30 min of waiting in the chair. NEVER spending another dime at that place and you’d be smart to not do the same.
I used to love this place but today was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I’m not one to give a bad review. I normally just brush it off and keep going but the more I think about it the madder I get. To start off my daughter got her nails done shows the person doing her nails what she wanted the only difference is that she wanted her nail color white not nude. She wanted them to be matte and one have a gold stripe down the middle. What she got was white glossy nails. I got a pedicure at firs the water was way too hot and for me to say that it has to be crazy hot. When the guy started my service when it came to cuticle care he just lightly brushed over my toenails barely making any contact at all. I swear that ummm going to have bruises up and down my legs and feet. Then when it came to the parifan wax that was so hot I pulled back and he shives my foot back in to the hot wax. Then we get the total of our services and the price we were charged was more than their service menus stated or the website for that matter so I ended up paying more than I expected to pay. I don’t think that I will be going back I will have to find somewhere else to go I guess and I hate that because I used to tell everybody I knew to go to this place
The service was excellent. Queenie and Mary treated us very well. My wife and I felt like we were at a resort in the Caribbean. Will definitely come again to your establishment.
Been here twice. Once for a full set and just today got a pedicure. Very clean and professional and they did a great job.
The first time I went mani and pedi were great. I got the dip powder and needed it removed after almost three weeks. When I went back the girl who removed it just ripped it off my nails. No soaking, just tore it off, which was a bit painful. She got one of the fake nails, dug it under the dip powder and quickly slid it across. By the end my nails were very tore up and damaged. So bad that I had to have her paint them again because there is no way I could have protected them from infection at my place of work, with all the torn layers. Today my fingers are so sore and painful. I’ve talk to multiple people and no one has just had the dip powder ripped off like that. They’ve all had it soaked first. Now I’m scared I’ve permantly damaged my previously very healthy nail. I won’t be going back.
Love this place! Bobby at the front is super nice and Amy does and amazing job on my nails every time!! If you havent been, try them out! Theyre great!
The entire staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Great environment and clean. Not to mention Brian!! He’s just amazing really takes his time shaping each nail to perfection.
Stopped in on 9-25-19 and had a mani-pedi. The salon was very nice and I enjoyed my mani-pedi. Less than a week later my pedicure polish has chipped off. I have never had this happen. Also, after I left I looked closer at my manicure and noticed they did not remove my old clear polish on my nails. Simply laziness. I do not see how this nail salon got “Best of” New Braunfels.
Second time in and had a nasty break. The first time in 20 years of many salons this staff took the time to explain the different techniques. They really care of me. Top Notch staff! I judged this salon too quickly my first time in.
I cant lie, upon reading reviews I was sceptical on being pampered at this location. However while in the area one day I decided I would give it a try and I will certainly be back. This place offers EVERYTHING. Hair, nails, massages... etc. AND they serve alcohol/liquor and numerous other delicious beverages (Soda, water, fruit infused water..) all while being pampered. In my experience I revieved a free try out on a swedish massage and I will definitely be booking a couples appointment soon. Highly recommend!
This is the best nail salon I’ve ever been too in San Antonio. It is so amazing! Not only do they do great nail work, but they have great employees, great customer service, and great prices! Would highly recommend

Unprofessional masseuse. Great massage don’t get me wrong, but tread carefully. Massages are supposed to be relaxing. I don’t want to hear a persons opinions. I’m trying to relax. Not only that, but her unprofessionalism is unprecedented. Calling me to threaten me about a charge I reported fraudulent because I had been hacked financially. Once I noticed my mistake after she called me about it, I happily rescinded my error. You would think it would be over? WRONG! Masseuse personally called and text me to tell me she was going to the cops! If that’s not a threat I don’t know what is?! I called the location to report her inappropriate behavior and she still continues to personally message. Not appreciated or warranted. I feel personally violated. Great place, but be careful.
May 31, 2019I asked a couple of my friends where they get there nails done and the said Luxx Nail Bar and they love it. So I came and had my nails filled by Lam. He did a great job. While he was doing my nails I decided to get a pedi so when he got done with my nails he took my purse and seated me in the pedi area. No one spoke to me at all. Finally a lady came to me and started doing my feet. After she got done she asked me what kind of pedi I wanted. I couldnt understand a word she was saying. So I told her a basic pedi. She got done then wrapped them in towels and disappeared for a while. She then came back and finished the pedi. I did not feel comfortable here and will not be coming back.
Lam did my new set and the color did not match the sample shown. He cut several of my fingers with the file, left glue and dipping powder on my skin. They had very ruff edges and I had to refile when I got home. Im going to be out additional money to have them removed and redone. Its a beautiful salon.but I wont got back
I really liked this place but the shellac I had put on didnt even last a week before it started falling off in chunks. I have rate the customer service 5 stars. Just not sure why I paid more when my daughters regular nail polish lasted longer.
I was with a bridal party of 4 last week. The pedi techs were more concerned with if the Korean one of us could understand them. When we said no, they proceeded to make fun of 2 of the groups toes/nails. Just because an obvious Asian person doesnt speak the language, doesnt mean someone else doesnt. I feel like I was overcharged as well... I had the blue lagoon mani/pedi combo for $63, but then they added $40 for shellac and another $20 for design when all they did was a small glitter brushing on the tips. The brides shellac was put on too thick and not dried correctly so on her wedding day she had to take time out of her prep in the morning to go get it fixed.
Wow! I love Luxx nail Bar! The pedicures are amazing with any technician! They go above and beyond in making sure youre comfortable and offer amazing Vietnamese Coffee!! I will refer all my friends here!!♡♡♡

I went on recommendation from a co-worker. What a great choice! Bobby and Tommy were the best hosts! I got an amazing pedicure and got to enjoya glass of wine. Just what mama needed.
I scheduled 3 pedicures at 5:30pm... we didn’t leave until 7:40pm. My cousins pedicure started an hour after ours. The service was awful which was a major let down considering how excited we were to give this place a try. Needless to say we won’t be back.
Luxx Nail Bar in New Braunfels is AMAZING! They were so kind and professional. My French manicure was gorgeous and flawless! I highly recommend this nail salon. 12/10!!

Back in 2019 I went to this salon and the man doing my set was using the drill and he cut a chunk out of my finger. He continued doing my nails without even a simple apology. When my finger started dripping blood, he grabbed a dirty towel and wiped the blood off and didn’t say a word to me. I still had to pay 60$ for the short French tip set. The next morning my finger was green and oozing pus. I went to the hospital and was given antibiotics. I called the salon and sent the pictures to them, the manager said that all they could do was give me my 60$ back on the computer and not actually refund me. My finger wasn’t fully healed for almost 2 months. I ended up going back a couple days ago just to use up the 60$ and that was a huge mistake. While the lady was filing my nails she cut me on each individual finger on the inside of my fingers and they were all bleeding. When I told her that the filer was too sharp, she kept going until she saw the blood. Then she asked for a different filer from a coworker. Then still was harsh on filing. I also showed her an inspiration picture for what I wanted then gave me something completely different. Moral of the story is this place is horrible ! If you have a pleasure of pain then this is the salon for you! The picture with the French tip is from 2019, and the other one is from a couple of days ago. My fingers are still trying to bleed” !

My new nail salon. This place is absolutely fabulous. Very friendly & welcoming staff. I loved both my manicure & pedicure. Very relaxing atmosphere. Very clean establishment. Drinks are delicious.
Received the combo manicure/pedicure. The polish did not last one day. Also requested leg waxing. Many areas were missed and the management was very rude and refused to refund. A waste of money don’t go to this shop.

Im dont enjoy posting negative reviews of establishments but the reviews of this establishment is what originally drove me to visit this place. Unfortunately, my experience was horrible. I visited prior to my trip to Hawaii. It was literally the worst pedicure Ive ever had. They didnt even clip mine or my guests toe nails. They were more concerned about upcharging the service with extra lotions etc. I will not be back here and dont recommend.
