Had my first massage here and it was amazing! The place was very clean and welcoming. The manager on site was friendly and super helpful. My massage therapist, Danielle, did an awesome job and made me feel super relaxed! I felt well rested after my session. I was very happy with my visit that i even signed up for the monthly membership! It was not forced on me, which is what i appreciated. I am happy to have found a great spot! I definitely recommend

First time going to a corporate/chain styled massage parlor, and was pleasantly surprised. I was paired with Jessica and couldn’t have been happier with the service. I’m glad she took the time to check in and ask questions throughout since it was my first experience there. Great atmosphere.

Im a military spouse and have had frustrating experiences in the past with ME in other locations. This experience was totally different. Excellent experience so far!! Moved to Texas and had my membership transferred here to make this my new home store. No problems as was the case at other MEs (NC, CA, etc). Everyone here is super friendly, polite, and welcoming. Customer comes first and is treated respectfully. First massage was Friday, 90-minute killer massage by Kim, combo of relaxation and muscle fatigue. I felt completely relaxed when I left! I have no qualms sharing this is the best ME Ive ever had! Thanks

Danielle, is always so cordial and checks on how the pressure is throughout my session. Her technique is exceptional and i am thoroughly relaxed when i leave. I look forward to every future session with Danielle.

I went to Massage Envy due to its location. This is my 3rd visit, I’ve enjoyed and benefited from sport massage treatment for body aches and pains from my active lifestyle and workout routines I do in the gym. My masseuse was Joel. He was awesome. Found the troubles in the lower back and began the proper massage treatment to remove lower back pain. He was detailed, customer focused, professional and explained some of the causes of lower back pain and some remedies I can try at home. I recommend Joel if you have sport injuries or an active lifestyle injury and need some massage therapy to make pain go away I strongly recommend Joel at Massage Envy.

Great experience. I go to the New Braunfels location and each therapist has been great! Went to Joe yesterday he helped with my lower back and sciatica pain was very intuitive and found some pretty tight muscles.

Love Danielle! Her style and process is perfect for me. Very responsive to my needs at each appt. Really enjoy my relationship with her. My only recommendation would be to add hot towel at beginning, really enjoy hot towel at beginning of massage.

This was my third time with Lucy and she hasn’t disappointed me in the least. Quite the contrary. She definitely finds my trouble spots and works to release the HUGE knots I have. She always makes sure to have me let her know if she’s applying too much pressure. Whether we’re talking or silent, she’s concentrating on the massage. I highly recommend Lucy. I’ve already got two more bookings with her!

My first time at Massage Envy and it wont be my last!Molly has amazing hands! Its crazy the strength and power that tiny thing has! She asked what I wanted to focus on and she really listened. I didnt realize they had a sales pitch at the checkout but it wasnt forced. I will definitely go back. I feel great!

I have been to this massage envy quite a few times and I am never disappointed! This last appointment I had Lucy and she was amazing! She truly felt for troubled areas and tension, and worked diligently on them. Getting my membership here was 110% worth the investment.

Lucy was great! She was thorough in the initial review of what my problem areas were and was able to alleviate a lot of pain/soreness where needed.

Joe is the best kept secret in New Braunfels. If you are having any lower back pains due to sciatica, he will make it vanish in 15 min. Best massage Ive ever had.

Sofia is wonderful! She has magic hands! She listens carefully to my concerns (neck or lower back pain) and then checks during each massage to make sure the pressure is sufficient and that any discomfort I have felt before my appointment has been relieved. Sofia is caring, extremely skilled and professional.

Great customer service at the front desk. Jasmine was an amazing massage therapist who listened and released all muscle aches. Definitely recommend adding the muscle enhancement.

My 1st visit to M.E. Sophia was professional, calming and listened to my requests. I came away relaxed and at peace. She even gave me left-over lotion.

Lucy always does the trick. She is so professional and so friendly. She always knows how to unwind my muscles and relax them until I feel like Jell-O -always feels like I’m walking on a cloud leaving.

The staff members are friendly and efficient. It is very easy to schedule appointments. The massage therapist I see is Kim. She is skilled and caring. Ive been to 3 ME salons and seen 8-9 therapists over the years. Kim is by far the best!!

This was my first ever massage and it was awesome! Everybody was really nice and overall there was a relaxing vibe. Lucy did a great job hitting my target areas and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Definitely destressed and in less pain

Arik takes the time to ask questions and truly listens to where my areas of concern are; once he starts work if there are spots more tender than I realized, as I had a recent fall, he notices when I tense up slightly and adjusts pressure before I have the chance to let him know. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely cares about the service he provides and in ensuring the comfort of his client.

Fantastic experience across the board. The team is great and answers questions thoroughly and the service is great. Their manager, Courtnie is a rock star. She is incredibly helpful and goes above and beyond to help out the clients. I strongly recommend this location.

Molly is my go-to therapist as she has the right combination of relaxation and working out the painful trouble spots!! She asks about those trouble spots before starting, and usually finds a few more I hadn’t realized! 😏 Walked out feeling like a new person!!

Lucy is an amazing deep tissue therapist! She is able to get areas worked out that have been a problem for a long time and provide much needed relief!

I had a great visit with Sofia! She is amazing! Her touch can be as firm as you want or as light as a feather. She always checks to make sure that youre doing okay. I go back monthly and it is well worth choosing Sofia each time!

Jessica was very courteous, asked me if I had any troubled areas. Her professionalism was wonderful. She applied the perfect pressure and techniques. Felt refresh after my session. She us a keeper.

Absolutely loved my massage with Arik yesterday. The only thing I would change is the room temperature. It was extremely cold in the treatment room to the point of being uncomfortable. Overall though, the massage was great and my back is feeling much better today.

Shannon was great with customer service and Kathy was phenomenal with my session. I definitely recommend the hot stones.

I had scheduled a 90 min massage for Mother’s Day. I saved up my massages to do this.It was SO TERRIBLE! When I set up the massage I made sure to tell them I wanted med/deep pressure.When I got there Jessica was my massage therapist. She was not friendly, warm or welcoming. When she talked to me she said “oh I don’t do deep but I can do medium pressure.” I told her that was fine medium would be good. I laid there for 90 min being overly lathered, feeling like a baby was massaging me. There was NO PRESSURE what so ever. A manager contacted me after I took a survey. But other then saying I’m sorry your massage was bad nothing else happened. 🤷🏽‍♀️ thanks for the apology but it won’t get me my 90 min back that I saved up for.I’m sure there are other massage therapists there that are great but Jessica was not one of them. 🙃

My massage with Molly was great. The facilities always seem clean, and we started on time. I have been a client there for 9 years, and I like that they will text you if they have appointment openings each day.

The atmosphere was very calming. The colors were very aesthetic.Sophia was a great therapist and did exactly what I asked. The ladies in the front were very helpful with an extra purchase. I bought a diffuser Im very happy with. Would definitely recommend and return.

There is a massage therapist there that is named Lucy. I just got off the table following a 60 minute deep and medium tissue massage. She is remarkable and really made a difference. I’m now going every week and I highly recommend her services!

My legs was swollen from a long flight. I stopped at this location and the lady at the front desk is really nice, great sales skills to get you in and book an appointment.My experience is not great at all with therapist Ron. I did the intake at the front desk and I clearly says how much I need my legs to get circulation and flow after long flight. Ron did not take into consideration my concern and he clearly tells me he has his “technique” I told him ok I will trust you. I travel extensively and spend a lot of money for high end spa and massages - I understand this place is basic it’s so basic that the therapist has no clue how to massage. He put a cold lotion— you can warm it! And his hands are so cold! Seriously?! Not a good start- he started dripping the lotion on my legs and massage me by section with no flow at all. He massaged me downward— did I just say my legs is swollen from traveling!!? It needs to massage up to get the blood moving! Omg you don’t even understand the nervous system?! Then he keep touching and moving the sheets in between my legs!! I just want to get out there so bad and as soon as I got out I ignored him and walked away!To the management: make sure to test out the therapist before hiring them. He is not a good representation of your company. Beware!

Jessica was great. She kept the room warm for me even though it was probably too much for her. She listened to my feedback on her moves, which I appreciated.

Lucy is PHENOMENAL. Id walked with a limo for over a year. After ONE session, I no longer had a limp. I had a 2nd session a few weeks later and feel even better. She is amazing.

Customer service was great. Molly did not focus on areas that extra was paid for. Other than that the experience was ok. It was my very first time getting a massage, but I will try another massage place. So I will not be coming back. But thanks for your services.

Danielle is amazing! She knows exactly how to work the terrible knots in my shouders and neck. I always feel so much better after.

Lucy is an absolute magician! I have very stubborn knots in my back and shoulders that she is able to knead out. Her massages are about the only thing that brings relief for my muscle spasms.

Jason is the best massage therapist I have had in 30 years. No one else compares. I have multiple diseases and I get the best results seeing him on a regular basis.

Awesome deep tissue work. Robert only works sections of body for 60 minutes, either shoulders, back or legs. This allows him to be very thorough on that specific section. 90 minutes allows him to work two sectons. Very deep penetration breaks up scar tissue causing pain, but can be painful massage. I need the scar tissue broken up to release daily pain. No pain, no gain.

I got Joel for a deep tissue massage . He was amazing ,Was my first time ever and he explained everything to me so I could get comfortable. He was very professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOEL….

Watch the time! While I expect to lose 5 minutes on both ends of the appointment, my last visit ended, and even after checking out, I was back in my car with 5 minutes still to go. I let it go, but I have no plans to go there again. This was not the first time that they cut me too short on time.

I have terrible migraines. I use Botox, a night bite, 2migraine meds, and practice yoga. I still wake up with headaches every day. Robs unusual technique is helping dramatically lessen my headaches. I highly recommend him.

I have been having back spasms from combined RA / Fibro and Sjogrens. It feels like it wants to go into a full blown cramp but never does. Its just a lingering back spasm. Body just going awry. I have tried prescribed pain meds, acupuncture, tai chi and just plain stretching to no avail. I was apprehensive about massage fearing lingering discomfort until a friend purchased a session for me. I explained my condition in detail to Molly who did listen intently. I did arrive late as I went to the wrong massage spa because of brain fog - part of the Sjogrens and just plain aging! She started off with a light tissue massage and then at some point strengthened her touch. She found that muscle in the back that seemed to be the point of the spasm. She would touch that muscle and I would feel that spasm feeling. She paid attention to that area and followed that muscle. She gave me pointers and stretches to follow up with. I walked out of that spa with a renewed vigor. I waited for that spasm to present itself and has yet to show up. AND even though I was late - as she did not have any clients after my appointment, she did give me the full hour. She made me feel very comfortable and welcome and attentive to my body concerns. I will be returning.

Robert is great. I’ve been seeing him more than a year, and will continue to see him. His deep tissue therapy is exactly what I need.

Due to covid and deaths in family and having to care for others I asked 3 months ago to not charge me for anymore messages until I can catch up. I have 17 paid for. They continued to charge now they say they can put a hold on for $20 a month but I cant have any of my paid for sessions.Crooked! Now....I want to gift some of them and they want to charge extra for that! This is not good business!

Humanly impossible to get an appt here. Im tired of trying. We moved from out state where we were members of A different massage envy for many years. I was hoping to test this location in hopes to sign up, but its not worth the hassle of just trying to get an appt. i could not imagine this each month 😬😬. First time I called no one answered. Next time i sat on the phone for 15 min trying to find a therapist that could do 90 min in the evening. The appt was 5 weeks out and the day before got cancelled.

Great staff who are very professional and know what they are doing. Danielle is a wonderful massage therapist and Jessica is a wonderful estesthetician.

Robert is great; he focus in my stress areas like my neck, i feel so pain free after each message he is great with deep tissue message…

The service at the front was great, but the massage therapist named Christian was awful. Told her I had horrible lower back pain. She seemed like she didnt know what she was doing. Kept asking for harder pressure for lack thereof. At the 15 minute mark she sat there messing with my arms basically just rubbing on them with no pressure. All in all awful massage. Two star for great customer service at the front desk though.

I only give this place three stars for the overly complicated and long cancellation process this company has. It is not user friendly and will remove any memory of relaxation you got from this place. If you thought buying health insurance on the marketplace was annoying, find applying for a mortgage exhausting, then... add cancelling a membership with Massage Envy to that list. Its the most bureaucratic paperwork mess I have seen in a long time. Instead of allowing you to quickly cancel, you must submit everything in writing, you are given about 6 different options to NOT cancel and keep your membership active most which include lots of $10 fees and loss of massage credits. The options are ridiculous.That being said, I did have some good massage therapists, but its very hit or miss. The good ones you have to find over several sessions, many of the therapists are untrained. I didnt mind the timer, front desk people were always wonderful, and there was always cold water.I would recommend finding a local massage therapist with their own practice.

Get some employees who know what they are doing. In the past we had a guy who stank like cigarettes and booze. What a relaxing situation. Last lady was so bad, I just left. Owner and staff will argue with you, even though they hadnt provided a good experience. In the past, it was not this bad. Maybe they are in a rough time or something. Either way...wont be back.

I have found a wonderful massage therapist who really knows what she is doing. I recently have the most relaxing & educational facial as well. Highly recommend! I now use Obagi skin care recommended by them. It has really calmed the rosacea down & my skin feels so good. They are worth the $.

I bought a gift card for my wife’s birthday. When she tried to make an appointment to use HER gift card, the one that I already purchased, the folks at ME New Braunfels refused to schedule her with her gift card, and demanded a credit car to secure the appointment. In stead of dealing with us, they told us to get out. If I would have know that ME required a credit card to schedule an appointment I would not have bought a gift card in the first place. Not every one deals with credit cards. When we asked how to get my money back for the gift they refused to help us.Horrible experience!

Danielle is a fantastic therapist, she is very skilled and knowledgeable in her skills.

I was not a happy man after the message I received at ME. I really dont believe that Gregory has any professional experience as massage therapist. He didnt know his anatomy or muscle structure. I am thankful that I didnt pay full price, this was very disappointing. I was hoping for some relief, but all I received was a back rub my wife could have given me, but it cost me $49. I also dont expect to have to tip someone who gets paid well for their services. If your looking to throw your money away on a very expensive back rub then this is the place for you, but if youre looking for results to help with health issues, this is not that place.

I love this place! I came in today for a 60 minute massage because I was in severe pain. I left feeling great! The staff here is very welcoming and not pushy or sales-y at all. Made me feel like family.

The first visit was a 5-star visit. So when I left I booked my 2nd massage for a month later. I called 2 days before to cancel and they must have forgot to cancel it. I received a calledeone hour before my scheduled massage time. It wasnt a recording it was a live person. I told her that I had canceled 2 days before but Id like to reschedule. A few days later I see a change for $50 on my account so I called and the girls said it must have been a mistake and itll get corrected. I waited 2 days and still no refund. So I call again and they say its a cancalation fee. One I wasnt told about either time I spoke to them. After requesting to speak to a manager and not getting to one. After getting the run around I just dropped it and ate the charge. But I will never be back to this place. And Ill never refer them to anyone either.To bad, they do give a good massage just no customer service.

Joel use an approach that no one else had never done and it help tremendously. Definitely a deep massage if that’s what you’re looking for.

I therapists and front desk staff are amazing, I have never worked with anyone more sweet, friendly and kind and that group..but they cant seem to keep front desk associates. I have never been let go so unprofessionally as they did. The 21 yr old manager *whom is being very immature decided to call me after my shift lastnight while I was at home to tell me they were letting me go because I didnt fit in anymore and hopefully Id find somewhere I did fit in then had the nerve to say if i could do anything to help just to ask i told her after i that I doubt she can but thanks anyway. The professional way of going about that is to call that person in the office and let them go and document it and sign it. I do NOT reccomend working their as you will probably only work there for a few months before they decide you dont fit in anymore either. It also see.ed like new rules were being made up as time went by,it started seeming a bit shady so I got a gut feeling that they were about to replace me so i had already started looking for a new job.They change the schedule up all the time on you and dont rotate weekend shifts so everyone gets a chance to have free time on the weekends. They expect you to do so much stuff for only getting 10 an hour. You dont get commission on everything you sell like gift cards (which I feel you should get commission on that). It just became a very shady environment to work in and the manager and owners dont apparently apply to rules to everyone they pick and choose who gets to slide by on the rules.

I stopped going there after my package ran out. It was always very difficult to get a massage scheduled with the same person more than once and they always had new people that just started giving massages recently so the quality varied from session to session.

Why wont by the owner respond to the negative reviews? Terrible customer service! I scheduled two appts two days apart, i show up the first day and they tell me i dont have an appt. Yet they called me the day before to verify?I cancelled the other appt, but pops, they didnt have that one listed either

Terrible place. They told me I could cancel my “membership” with 30 day notice and now all of the sudden there’s “fine print”.Please, please, please folks. Do NOT sign a contract with them. No matter what they tell you.I wish I would have read these reviews first.

I received a gift card for a one hour message and a facial but when I called to schedule an appt. they ask for your CC #. After reading the above review , I refused to do so and was unable to schedule my appt. without it ! I can see no reason for needing my CC # ! There are too many other places to get a message and facial that do not REQUIRE my CC # to be on file !

Got a gift card for my wife. When she called to make a appointment they told her they wouldnt make it without a credit card. Yet said nothing about this at the time i was there getting the card.There is no need for them to have that kinda info to use a gift card.Will never use this place again.

This location is a total waste of money, check your bank account. They will continue to charge you monthly and will not willingly work with you .Do not give them your bank card! Then they agree to disputed resolution and when you call they take 10 dollars out without permission. Total scam .
