Rumaj Nightclub

Went with 8 of my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and the experience was truly amaazing from beginning to end. drinks were great. Service was truly exceptional. Kelly our server did amazing. Everything was reasonably priced and music was mixed well. I absolutely can not wait to go back this weekend again. Would recommend it to everyone. Thanks so much

They allow to enter minors with false ID so we lost one hour just waiting, the cover was 10 bucks and they didnt refund us and they didnt give us drinks or something else, never come here!!

Awesome place, the vibe is always good, it gets crazy good on college Saturdays. Parking right in front is a blessing. XD drinks are great!!! Down side you will be tired after a great night dancing be ready

This place is awesome, had a great time. Me and my girlfriend loved it. Can’t wait to come back.The music was great, the drinks were on point.

No toilet paper, soap, or paper towels in the bathroom.Security pushes through on the dance floor for no reason and stands in the middle of your obvious group.Bartenders refused to provide water for free until I cited CT Gen Stat § 30-62c.Excessive security presence and incorrect pat downs upon entry.

Its a great atmosphere and space , the only thing is to be careful with what you wear and security isn’t really too friendly to males .

This place is absolutely a bad idea, don’t do it. They charge 10 dollars and they let minors come in with fake ID’s

Not a great first experience. Place is too full on a Saturday night, no room to get around, and people want to fight you if you dare try to move through the dance floor to find your friends. $3 for water is crazy too. Just wait in line for BAR down the street, its a much cozier place.

The experience wasn’t good, we waited in the cold. the bouncer was kicking people out for any reason. We were being too loud in line???

Bartender didn’t give me what I asked for at the bar. Assumed what my friends wanted also. My friend asked for a shot later & he didn’t bother to ask what liquor and poured her whiskey. what 24 year old girl is drinking shots of whiskey at the club? and if Im paying for a drink I want it to be something I enjoy drinking. DJ played the same songs multiple times in a night and it got repetitive and annoying.

We got VIP for a friend’s birthday celebration but it didn’t feel like a VIP at all. We finally got into the venue after being in a line that people prepaid tickets or something, then got into another line where they separated the men and women. It’s definitely a place where you pregame, go there already drunk cause you’re gonna be in a long line and swim through a crowd of people just to get to the bathroom. Which is most clubs but if you pay for VIP it usually isn’t that bad cause your bottle girl comes regularly and checks on you. Plus one of my friends still paid a cover charge even tho we were on the list. I almost forgot to add the music was bad I didn’t even see a DJ.

WHAT AN AMAZING TIME , HAD 10 ADDITIONAL FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO CELEBRATE NEW YEARS EVE AND THE STAFF WAS SO TRULY HELPFUL AND ACCOMMODATING and FRIENDLY , THERE WAS AMPLE SECURITY AND THE PLACE JUST HAD GREAT ENERGY…LOOKING FORWARD TO MAKING THIS MY SATURDAY SPOT SO FUN!! Friends were in VIP and bouncer tried to not let me back up after I had just went downstairs to buy another drink. Then proceeded to get in my face with his stinky breath. These bouncers get power trips for minimum wage LMAO.

Three fights in one night, witnessed a girl get punched in the nose in the midst of one of the brawls. Men, this place is not safe for your girls. Also, its not a reliable place for jacket service as they have no system set in stone and mine got stolen. When I tried to address the matter with one of the employees I was met with a drunk Griffin who told me there was nothing they could do and I had to push them to get my jacket located. The most he did was take my number down and promised to call me the following morning, never got a call, but Alex (rep from Rumaj) reached out to me telling me to have my friend remove his review of Rumaj (1 star) in return for the employees to look through footage, which was very unprofessional. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Lost our jackets&valuabes and witnessed 3 fights in 1 hours. Not sure if its the best place to have fun. Plus all the staff were drunk including the people who collects cover fee. I guess one of them was Griffin.

Kinda mid drove 45 mins for this definitely not worth it.

Super gross..there was spillage, cups, and white ..stuff..all over the floor. There was a foul smell on the dance floor. I don’t have high standards for night clubs, this one was straight unhygenic. My first and only time.

I was planning on having my birthday party here but reading the review about there safety issues n the lack them seem to have for it n the unapologetic responses back from the owner or whom Eva it is I rather not .. appreciate the reviews cuz u never kno what you could be getting your self in too

Such a great time both Friday and Saturday nite… we celebrated a birthday on Friday nite and my cousins new job on Saturday nite both nights were out of this world it was like a movie … great vibe and great service… there was a fight however it was resolved super fast by the security team and people were immediately removed… it’s to be expected in these scenes however my girlfriends and I felt very safe and just loved the vibe as there were tons of woman there as well…the manager Mauricio was very kind… will definitely be back this week and be bringing all my homegirls with me!! LOVE this place only spot I have found in new haven with such a large spot and such a great vibe !!

7 of my girl Friends and myself went to RUMAJ on Friday for drinks and a great time and I have to say they absolutely did not disappoint…Alexandra was so gracious and the bartenders were also very friendly and made amazing drinks… I usually do not post reviews but We truly had an amazing time and felt ver safe while there … not the usual creep vibe like at other spots , looking forward to going again this week with my girls !
