We went here last Saturday and had one of the best nights dancing of my life. The DJ/owner is amazing. He is one of those people that can tell immediately tell what kind of music people are responding to and curates the perfect mix that will keep everyone dancing and singing and screaming OMG I LOVE this song straight into the night. A lot of these reviews seem to be about the cover charge, but Id say it was an extremely negligible amount considering the amount of fun we had. Good people deserve to be paid for good service, and this bar is providing GREAT service. My only regret is that I was having too much fun dancing to try a Dr. Pepper Shot. I cant wait to go back next time Im in NOLA.
We held an “unofficial” after party there this past weekend after our daughter’s wedding reception. It was the perfect ending for those who weren’t quite ready to stop the party. The owner, Dave, made sure to do lots of call outs to the newly married couple from the DJ stand and he went above and beyond to help return lost wallets, credit cards, a military class ring, and suit coats. Highly recommend!
We had the best time at the Gold Mine after my nieces wedding. The dj played all the fun dance and sing-a-longs for everyone. The bartender made my favorite drink, the gimlet, better than most places. My son left his jacket and the owner called our family to give it back. 🔥 Its a fun place with great owners.
We had so much fun joining our family here for an after party following my cousin’s wedding! But the best part was that one of the employees is a SAINT and found my husband’s wallet full of credit cards and cash and made sure to return it and got it to a family member of ours since we had already left town. Sooo incredibly thankful and shows what a great group of people work at this fun bar!
Im not even sure what to say about this place. Its a hot mess. Get there early and enjoy your nostalgia. Get there late and find a fling. Either way you get to dance your night away. They have a pool table there for something.I never could understand how this place just shows up when you are trying to go home. You can go looking for it, but its not likely that you find it. Try and go home at 3 am and suddenly... There it is.#flamingdrpepper
Always have so much fun at gold mine! Even left my ID and debit card there ,and it was waiting safely for me in the morning.
Went here for a post party wedding event. Every person from the wedding came and had the best time. I even lost my jacket at the end of the night and the owner tracked me down to return it to me. By far the best service in the quarter.
Best place in all of New Orleans! Additionally, I left my purse at the bar and they were so helpful/went above and beyond to return it back safely to me! Nothing but amazing things to say about this place!
Went here last Saturday. Had a really fun time! David (the owner) is a great guy!
We attended a wedding after-party here this past weekend. It was an amazing time. The atmosphere is perfect for celebrating. Dance till you drop. And what can one say about flaming Dr. Pepper Shots? Yes, please. Highly recommend this place for your next group event. The owner will go out of his way to make everybody happy!
I think feelings about this place can be estimated by your tolerance for 20something white chicks yelling wooooo! Those people need someplace to go but they arent my crowd.
Open over 40 years. Best music and best environment for making life long memories. Best local crowd and unmatched vibe in FQ New Orleans
I love the Gold Mine Saloon! Not only are the flaming Dr. Peppers delicious, but David (the owner) was so friendly and helpful when I left behind an important coat. We went here for a wedding after party and had the best night. The next day David made sure my coat was kept safe and coordinated a way to return it. Great bar and great customer service. Definitely consider them for any functions or after parties and they will make sure you have an amazing night!
The Gold Mine has been a favorite for so long!! The music is amazing…. You might hear stuff from the 50s or 60s mixed in with today’s hits, and never discount the 80s😎There are so many age groups represented, and you might see people in shorts or evening wear. Everybody just feels welcome, mostly due to the staff. They’re super friendly and have so much to share about the history of the area. The music is good, the drinks are good, and even the bathroom is clean and working… you don’t get that all the time in the French Quarter😉
Whoop whoop! You want to dance to Prince music? You want to sit at the bar and drink a flaming Dr Pepper? You want to party with like minded people? This is the place. This experience is unique and cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Cool bartenders, large variety of patrons who are all on the same wavelength. Good drink prices and ice in the urinal, like there should be. Long live the Goldmine Saloon!
Favorite bar in the French quarter! Always a great time with great music and vibes. Don’t forget to get a flaming Dr Pepper!!
THE BEST BAR IN THE FRENCH QUARTER!!!! amazing vibes, amazing dance floor, amazing staff!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THE FLAMING DR. PEPPER!!!!!!!!!! 100000/10 recommend!!!!! i can’t wait to come back!
Awesome local bar, family run, the owner David is a gem of a person (Actual saint in a Saints tee, met us when the bar was closed on a Sunday to return our lost bank cards on Halloween weekend). Would highly highly recommend swinging in for the flaming Dr. Peppers. All around 10/10.
I was there Saturday night great time charming staff good crowd awesome music great place will be back any time Im in town
Great throw back music.Drinks have cheap liquor but theyre known for Flaming Dr. Peppers
Extremely disappointed how rude the owner was especially to a local New Orleanian. Staff could not have be nicer and was so embarrassed by how our group was treated.
I have been frequenting this establishment since the 80’s! It was great then and is still great now! The atmosphere and music are remarkable and the staff is very friendly and attentive! The Flaming Dr Peppar show is a must see!!
It’s gross. Drinks are overpriced and known to be watered down. No doubt because the owner’s son and bar manager Dave likes to reminisce about his father teaching him how to add water to liquor bottles as a kid. It’s only my opinion but the cover charge is nonsense. I’d understand if the “Gold Mine Saloon” played live music or had acts but they don’t so why is cover charge necessary?? It’s straight cash.Personally I don’t like the place bc it’s a rip off & filthy.
Used to be fun years ago but people dont go anymore. The bartenders arent fast or personable and the music is really dated, and they charge a cover. Theyre always dead and the drinks arent cheap. They should hire some fun bartenders to bring people in.
Not a bad little spot. Wasnt expecting the $5 cash only cover charge. But it be that way sometime. We had fun and it was pretty clean.DJ played bomb music and the cartoons on the TV above the bar were a nice touch. I enjoyed myself anyway.
Had a grand time at the Gold Mine. I visited from Ireland and was my favorite place in New Orleans. Fun music and fun people. Great Craic.
Ahh, the gold mine. Good times in my 20s at this place. Wednesday Nights were the night. Spin the wheel, nickel beers or $1 shots. Many a hookup at this place and many a Nine Inch Nails song was jammed. Hopefully its the same these days.
I love the old school vibe of this place. Forget all of the places on bourbon trying to draw you in, this place is the real deal with good music, good drinks, and fair prices. Gals and guys are always having the time of their lives when we’ve visited. Top notch bar and club, would recommend.
Cover (cash only…wonder why…) is a bit ridiculous for a bar here. The atmosphere is nothing special and the staff is rude. Won’t be returning
Cant believe they still do the Flaming Dr.Peppers there after all these years. The music was great, the atmosphere was great. We parked right in front of the door. The bartending could use a little improvement but, other than that we had a Great time for my Godchilds 21st birthday 🎉
Not only is this place a great time, the owners are incredibly nice. After enjoying a delicious round of Flaming Doctor Pepper shots, I accidentally left my ID and credit card at the bar. The owner was nice enough to send it back to me after my trip. I would go back in a heartbeat. Tell your friends!
Had the best time EVER at the Gold Mine Saloon !!! Awesome drinks, prepared to perfection. Incredible ambiance. Super Friendly Staff ! Greatest bar in the south !
I always have a great time at the goldmine. An excellent spot off of Bourbon Street with a party atmosphere and iconic dancing tunes. They also have a full bar with friendly bartenders. Cant wait to celebrate my next big event there with a group of close friends.
This place is a diamond in the rough. Escape the crowed streets of bourbon and be welcomed into a 80/90s college bar. The bartender treats you like a long lost niece/nephew that that stopped in for a drink. Scooby Doo, Strobe Lights and Shania Twain decorate your night . I recommend the flaming doctor pepper shot!
Such a great place to visit when you are in New Orleans! Always a fun crowd with great music and dont leave until you have a Flaming Dr. Pepper shot! They do take your license along with credit card when you open a tab (which is somewhat typical in Nola) so dont leave without them! Even if you do, like I did, David was wonderful in getting them back me! Totally recommend Gold Mine!
We were visiting and discovered the Gold Mine Friday night. We had so much fun, love that they were open until 5am, great music and great crowd. But most importantly I had left my phone there and the owner Dave found it, met me before my flight heading out Saturday afternoon and made my day! Completely topped off a great experience, will definitely be going back on our next visit! Thank you so much Dave!!
Nice place to play pool! Kind owners as well
The owner of the place profiled the hell out of our buddy because he was black. She initially tried to stop him from coming in saying his outfit was not proper attire even though its a bar and he was wearing the same thing the rest of us were wearing (she didnt stop any of us). After we argued and were eventually let in, she proceeded to stalk our buddy around the bar doing things like reminding him not to start trouble even though he just got there and wasnt planning on doing anything but chill at the bar. Eventually our entire group left after about 20 min because she was harassing him.It was the worst place we went to on our otherwise amazing trip to NOLA, and ironically it was a few blocks away from bourbon street and the only place that charged us a cover to get in ($5 for guys that night). Its like they want to make sure no one goes there. It was jarring to watch racial profiling happening right in front of you especially in this day and age, and in NOLA where every night there were huge mixed crowds with everyone vibing together.Im definitely staying away from that place and telling others to do the same.
-- This is your typical late night dive bar. DJ and dancing with loud music and lots of fun. Place isnt very clean and drinks arent cheap, but that is pretty much normal for a club. Pay in cash or there is a $20 minimum on the card and a 15% tip is included, but I dont know any fun people that drink less than twenty. Nothing to brag about. Just lots of drinking, dancing, and fun. Security is present and keeps things safe. Order easy to make drinks and the bartenders will like you more. It gets busy there.
Went to Goldmine Saloon while in New Orleans for business. I had a great time in the fun atmosphere. Bartenders were super friendly and made me feel welcome, which was amazing because I was by myself. I ended up leaving my ID in the bar and left back home the next day...🤦🏻♂️ David the owner was actually so awesome about it and agreed to mail back home to me in Texas after I finally called in a month later! The Goldmine will always be a must stop when I’m back in NOLA for business or pleasure!!!
Good times had by all at the Goldmine Saloon in New Orleans. Would definitely recommend. Remember to get yourself a flamin Dr. Pepper. Staff was super friendly — shoutout Sean & James!
Stopped by while I was visiting Louisiana to see some friends and me and my friend thought that this place was okay, If you need a bar to pass the time. I guess its fine but it is not exceptional
I wish I could give the gold mine saloon negative one star. a few close friends and I decided to end our night out here after great steaks and service at Mr. Johns Steakhouse. We decided to come in for the nightlife and great drinks. well. we were a bit disappointed. after paying a cover of $3 each (all good and fine) we go to order drinks. I ordered 4 flaming Dr. peppers and requested that I pay before she (our bartender) lit the drinks so that we could toast and end the night together. well, after pouring our drinks the bartender walked to the back with my credit card and ID for about 1 minute (this is forever in bar time.) She comes back, lights the drinks, spills them, then hands me my credit card and ID with receipt saying the tip is already included. We take the drinks, and I sign using descriptive words of my experience (we all know no one cares about how the receipt is signed.) We take the drinks and walk to a less crowded area of the bar and continue our night. Minutes later I am surrounded by bouncers and some sort of police enforcement telling me in a forceful way that I must sign my receipt with the signature from my drivers license or I will be forced to leave in a police car. the person that is in my face about this seems to be in some sort of wireless communication with an officer, and he tells them to pull around front for me. being that I have never had any issues or problems with the law I feel I am forced to sign this receipt for services I did not receive. I signed the receipt many times as the person enforcing this law felt my signature was not close enough to my drivers license. at this point I am quite upset but also not wanting to spend a night or weekend in jail. so I focused as best I could and signed my old scribbled signature. from there I left.I will be contacting my credit card company about this and taking this experience to the highest level possible. I understand it is a bar but bullying is unacceptable in this and every situation.
The gold mine saloon is an awesome late night 80s party place! Not only that, but the owner, Dave Brinks, is an amazing man who personally held my drivers license and debit card for a week until I was able to come Pick it up and even provided curbside delivery so that I wouldn’t have to park! A total class act! Thanks!
Lost my wallet dancing to great song after great song BUT fortunately the owner was very easy to get in touch with. He was super nice over the phone and actually met me the next day at The Gold Mine to give me my wallet just as I left it. Hard to find that in this city sometimes. Seemed like a real solid family man- can’t say enough. 5 stars.. Will definitely be going back 👍🏻 Really appreciate it Dave!
Every time I visit NOLA, I always make it a point to stop by The Gold Mine. Only a block or two off Bourbon, its always stacked with good people and awesome dance music. The Gold Mine is known for their World Famous Flaming Dr Pepper shots! My friends are always impressed when I show them this New Orleans staple.
This place is such a scam. Not only does it smell like absolute vomit but the staffs customer service is horrible. My group was charged for TAP WATER. When we calmly asked why, considering it’s illegal to charge for tap water at a bar, they claimed it’s because they have to pay for water. When we stated that it’s a utility the “owner” of the bar screamed at us and kicked us out of the bar. Awful place with equally awful people. Don’t waste your time here when there are so many other places that are more fun with a better environment and much better quality in staff.
Always make a stop here and get a flaming dr pepper shot to achieve my black out drunk for the night. Good music and a bit off the severely beaten path of bourbon street. Got back my id and credit card a couple of days later after forgetting to close out. The manager was very accomodating in getting my cards back.
My friend left her phone at Gold Mine on Saturday night so at work together Monday morning, we were trying to figure out how she could get it back despite the bar being closed until the next weekend. Fortunately, we got in contact with Dave, the owner, who found her phone and personally delivered it to us at work in the CBD shortly thereafter! Very impressed with Daves friendliness and graciousness!
Avoid this place at all costs. Came here with a large group of adults (23). Not only were we carded (all of us are OBVIOUSLY older than 30) but the doorman informed us there was a $3 entry fee. However, once inside, we were all charged $5!! When the issue was brought up, nothing was done! The least they could do is correct the doorman but they simply shrugged it off. Horrible management. Also, one of our friends used a state issued ID (not a drivers license) and the doorman didnt have the brains to OK it - instead INSISTING on a drivers license! Once inside, we realized we would have had a much better time on Bourbon Street where there is almost ALWAYS no cover charge and the bars are bumping and lively - this place was more dead than a 3 week cold corpse. You should do yourself a favor and actively avoid this place at all cost...
Very disappointed after reading how cool it sounds online. The arcade machines are all broken, crowd is very douchy, and the bar didnt have any of the specials listed on the wheel. Also a $20 minimum on cards with a 10% tax and 15% tip additional cost.
Music was not bad, but theres a cover. Which I kind of understand, but thought was stupid. It was only $5 so whatever. You have to spend at least $20 on your card if you dont have cash. They add their own tip at the end. When you are ready to leave it takes them 10 minutes or so to run your card in the back because there is a wait or something they said. Too much to do in the area for me to come back to this place. Just my opinion.
Wonderful place to visit if youre from NOLA or visiting. The place has a good crowd usually and great music! They will even hold onto your lost belongings if you by accident leave something, so cheers to GOLDMINE!!
The owner answered the phone on a Sunday and met me Monday with my debit card and license that were accidentally left there! So nice of him to do that! I always have a blast dancing at Gold Mine!!! Thank you David for great customer service!
Fun place and most of all the vibes was amazing. The owner went above and beyond to help me return my item I accidentally dropped it there. Love local business like this and the drinks were on point. Hieu
Very sketchy business practices and RUDE bartenders. $20 minimum - thats fine, but the bartenders are charging inconsistent prices so that every customer meets the minimum regardless of what they ordered. My friend bought two drinks at the beginning of the night (orange juice/vodka & redbull/vodka). When she went to close out later her total was $25 and when she questioned it she was reminded of the $20 minimum + automatic gratuity; she asked if she could order another drink on that tab since right now it was equating to $10 per drink (OUTRAGEOUS). The bartender told her no, that shed have to start an entirely new tab and would be charged another $25. This means that shed be charged $20 for ONE drink!! So she paid the $25 tab for two drinks that had barely any alcohol (see next complaint) that are usually only $5-6 each. Also, when we ordered the oj/vodka & redbull/vodka, the genius bartender COMBINED ALL FOUR LIQUIDS INTO ONE DRINK and got incredibly aggressive when we pointed out that wed wanted two separate drinks - not redbull/orange juice/vodka all in one glass. The same rude bartender didnt explain that they hold IDs AND debit cards all night, so when my friend politely reminded the bartender (who was already mad about the drinks) that she hadnt given back her ID the bartender yelled at her. I apologized and tried to explain that we didnt know the policy but she repeatedly yelled WHATEVER over me. As she was correcting our drinks she barely poured any alcohol in them, and then she slammed them down on the bar and told us to go away. Clearly the bartenders are treating people however they want since their gratuity is automatically included in the tabs. I usually recommend the Gold Mine to friends and tourists, but I dont think Ill be doing that anymore.
The owner Dave might be the most accommodating and genuinely kind bar owner in Louisiana. I left behind a couple items at the bar and Dave made arrangements with me to return me my belongings. Everyone should go have a drink here and say hi to Dave!
Charge 5$ cover at 4am and the bartender says he is closed. They dont refund you. They take your credit card in the back with your id for 10 minutes and apparently steal bartenders tips. This place is some money laundering scheme as they are open only 2 days a week after 7pm. They even review themselves on Google as you can tell by people that have only reviewed one place and dont even have a picture everything about them is a lie. Beware
This has to be your type of bar to like it. Its a late-night spot. It doesnt really get cranking until 12pm and then often goes until 3 or 4am. Many late-nighters hop from here to F&Ms at 2 or 3. Its a little dirty and a little divey, but its more of a dive club. Bottom line is, the drinks are pretty cheap, bartenders are great and fast, music is semi-loud, age ranges from 21-35 most commonly, and many people are looking to get laid lol. Its a good party!
This was by far the worst bar Ive ever been to! The owner was rude and I believe he may be a complete sexist! We had barely entered the bar and went to get drinks, when we were told that camera 17 saw me and my husband arguing, so we must leave. The problem is that my husband went straight to the bar and I was talking to some friends a couple of feet away! There was no arguing whatsoever. When we went outside to speak with the owner, he would not even talk to me at all and would only speak with the men that were with us.
Always have loved gold mine. It’s a staple to go to after every nola wedding. This past weekend I left my ID and card there and the owner David went above and beyond to get them back to me. I now Love this place even more knowing how accomodating they are to their customers!!
Worst experience at a bar. Ever. Owner stood in our way, barred our exit, and pretended to call the police after our friend failed to sign a credit card receipt (that took five minutes to run on what must have been a dial-up modem, while the bar was empty...) because he was irritated that the bar automatically added gratuity to all of our tabs without telling us and didnt take it off. He told us we were committing criminal theft, and hes never seen anything like it while hes been in business for over 30 years... Not likely hell be in business for another 30 if he continues acting like that.
Filthy, wretched, and filled with douche bags and girls which many have told me are easy and based on my limited late-night experience appear to be so. And so are the men, obviously, as they are and all locations. Some drunk hook up is the main draw for most men and women who express the desire go to this bar. Personally not interested or in the market. The music sucks and they played jock jams which got a great response - many people got riled up and excited. But if youre looking for a hook up it shouldnt be much of a challenge elsewhere either. No need to go to someplace like this, it has no redeeming qualities. And thats coming from someone who loves the quarter.
Interesting place, little too dark for my liking. But to each their own. Bartender was friendly, just didnt care for the darkness
I love this place. The atmosphere is exciting and I actually feel safe even being in the French quarter.
Premium service. Drinks were well made. Had multiple rounds of flamin moes I had left my ID and CC at this place, called them the next morning and the manager found my ID and CC and delivered them to my hotel.
Dont under any circumstances start a tab here. They have no system for collecting and processing cards; I waited 40 minutes for them to search for, and find, my card to process so that I could leave the bar. Fun time until you are held prisoner because you need your ID to fly home.
Possibly fabricated 5 star reviews online - this place is trash and their management is super sketchy. Creating fraud charges on credit cards followed by threatening with armed guards. Read the reviews, the issues are consistent. Stay away from this place if you want to have a good time.
By far my favorite bar in nola. Low key and always great music for dancing. Dj usually takes requests. Cheap cover of usually $5 or so. Grab a flaming dr pepper shot and have fun!
Atmosphere is great, bartenders and dealing with payments is alllwwayyys a hassle. Their credit card machines always have issues and the price of drinks are different with each bartender.
Great lil spot to drop in and listen to good dance music for a fun night. I brought some out of town friends to come hang out.
One of the best bars in the quarter. Fun atmosphere, great music and awesome flaming Dr. Peppers. Highly recommend trying them out.
$5 cover and they only take cash... the only cards they take are Amex and Discover. Its 2015! Get with the program and take Visa and Master Card!! Crowded and hot. They should use some of that cover charge money to turn down the damn air conditioning!!!
The Gold Mine has always presented an atmosphere with a level of enjoyment directly correlated to the strength of constitution of the goer. I pity the one-star reviewers. I would love to hang out with the 4-5 star crowd!
High life on tap tastes like celery. Clean your draft lines.
Tried-and-true spot to embarrass yourself dancing to 90s and 2000s music videos, while spilling expensive drinks on your rental tuxedo. Bring cash for the cover fee and to avoid the wrath of the bartenders.
Never had a bad time at the Gold Mine. From the early 90s to revisiting just recently.....It is still a great place to drink and dance.
Show up at 7:30 when the bar says they open at 7 and was rudely told to leave because they weren’t ready yet. Just wanted 1 round of shots and was turned away. It’s a real shame staples of New Orleans such as this is destroyed by terrible employees. Will not be going back.
Fun bar with a divey feel and a dance floor. Drink prices arent bad. The only downside is that its one of the few places that charges cover (usually $5).
Bartenders were rude and refused to offer tap water. Plenty of better bars in NOLA, no reason to waste your time here.
Definitely a gold mine! The place to be for anyone over 30! A hidden gem off of Bourbon! Not to mention the flaming Dr. peppers, their signature drink! 😋
Super fun late night dance spot. They play a great selection of fun music, always great energy, and flaming Dr. Peppers are a must!
I think I remember it being a lot of fun. Lol
These people suck. Cheapest bar, expensive drinks, bad attitude, and when they don’t think you’re going to tip well they auto-grat your card and have a bouncer stand over you and tell you that if you don’t agree to the tip they’re going to throw you out.
Fun place to go to when in New Orleans! Great music and good drinks!
First time at this place and felt super comfortable... great vibes... nice people... also the exit door man was nice touch
Came with a large group of people. Its a dive bar in a great way. Dont come here for a nice bar, come to embrace the dive.
Great mix of old and new music. Flaming Dr. Pepper shot has been a staple of this bar for over 25 years.
So much fun! Great music and great drinks. The flaming Dr. Peppers are musts!
This place is such a blast. Also, the owner David is a really great dude. Lost an item of clothing he very gracefully returned. Thanks!
Typical establishment of the area, though slightly off the well-worn path. Fun crowd. Good music mix.
Great late-night spot from midnight/1 until 3/4, only open two days a week- music selection is always impressive, flaming Dr. Pepper shots (actually bombs) are a must.
$5 cover keeps out most of the riff raff. 80s, pop and rap hits for dancing. Inventor of Flaming Dr Pepper.
Love the vibe and music. Great service. Decent cocktails. And best location ever.
Um 90s music and lined with classic video game machines including Frogger and Dig Dug. Yeah its a gold mine of awesome.
$20 minimum for cards and the bartender charges automatic 25%. Also ripped my license out of my hand. Place is a scam.
Only locals will give it 5 stars but that’s ok. Keep the tourists out with the lower star ratings.
Very loud. floor was wet. Mens toilet broken
Best Spot in NEW ORLEANS...to Relax...Laugh...and DRINK
Cool vibe late. Great retro music but the bar service is slow and gets in the weeds fast.
Great dive bar to cut loose and get some drinks that arent as expensive as on Bourbon.
We had a blast here and the flaming Dr Pepper is the best!
Best bar in nola
Best dance club in nola. Get a flaming Dr Pepper, its a tradition
We always go to Goldmine when we’re in New Orleans! One block off of Bourbon and always a fun time!
Its got its unique culture. But for a bar a block off bourbon its pretty fun late night.
This place Smells bad and owner isnt friendly. Just go to 700 club one block away much more welcoming.
If you want to get off Bourbon Street and have a good time this is the place to go
I have a hard time rating this one. I didnt want to go here, but the staff were very good. I dont understand why they charge a cover, though.
This place is great. The drinks are slamming and the atmosphere is unique.
Me and my girlfriends went here and managment was extremely difficult and rude and the smell is horrible. I will never come here again
Great vibe, great drinks. This is your French Quarter dance club, hit it up.
Divvy bar with cover charge that varies night to night. People like the 90s music and dance floor.
The floor is uneven and broken glass bottles that didnt get cleaned up. Very average average bar.
Such a fun place! Left cell phone there and they went above and beyond to get it back to me.
Cover charge to get in, no soap in the bathrooms, no free water (tap, cup, or otherwise). Know what youre going into.
Its full of pretentious Beckys and Chads. The bartenders were way too slow.
Plays great music!! Good drinks!! Good service!
Thats what I love about these [college] girls. I get older. They stay the same age.
Bring cash, great dance lil dance bar with good music and flaming DP’s
Visited in 5/21, felt like I was in the middle of Mardis Gras
Always a fun time for flaming Dr. Peppers and an impromptu dance party
Such a fun place to dance! David & staff are excellent!
Decent. Will prob hang here more
Ownership sucks and the help isnt far behind.... but they do the flaming DrPepper
Best dance spot in the French quarter
It was off the beaten path of bourbon st ....$5 cover charge andTook a while to get a crowd
The 90s/early 2000s playlist is tremendous! Great vibe.
Drinks are weak. Bartender had no info on where to find cocaine.
Sketchy management, rude bartenders, no free tap water, dirty bathrooms, meh.
Great dance club. Awesome music, good crowd!
Fun dance club in the quarter. Not sure if its worth the cover.
Wasnt even drunk and i almost knocked my teeth out after i slipped on the janky bathroom entrance
Fun bar a block off Bourbon street where locals go after events in downtown.
Only come here after midnight for great dancing. Total dive...
Great music! Danced into the wee hours of the morning!
Nice place if you are part of the natty light crowd
Fun music for dancing but it gets hot/stuffy the further u go in
Music is cool. Cover is only $5.
Only place in down to get the iconic flaming Dr pepper
Great Food!!!!Reasonable Prices!!!!!
Smells so bad and there was broken bottles on the floor. Never again
Worn down a little but still fun
Get a flaming Dr pepper and have a good time.
Great music, okay atmosphere, okay drinks.
Cover for locals??? Really not worth it. Nothing special about this place.
A place that makes me love NOLA even more.
The bathrooms were very dirty and doors wouldnt lock
These geniuses are exactly that.....really smart..... dont waste your money....
Hidden gem in the quarter. DJ was on point last night.
Great dance bar for all!
Sometimes fun ... good starting place I guess
Best bar ever, period :)
Flaming Doctor Pepper Shots by David Brinks.
Smells bad, bad service, better bars around
We love dancing at the gold mine!
Plays oldies but goodies. Should try and spin the wheel!
Good place to dance and drink.
Great stop on the haunted pub crawl
Loves it!

Perfect late night dance bar.
