Local musician from Asheville, North Carolina here. Was traveling back from SXSW Music Festival in Austin Texas and the crew wanted to stop by New Orleans on the way back north. As a first time experience to not only Bourbon Street, but New Orleans in general, I was blown away. This bar was the first we stepped into because of the incredible music and energy. Everyone was super friendly (not just the staff, it felt like a house party your best friend told you to show up to). The entire experience was beyond memorable. I wish they paid me to write this review, but I wanted to tell everyone about it. If you come to Bourbon Street, please ask for Lance, since they were the first to greet us and show us around the bar and introduce us to the energy of New Orleans. This human (Lance) is a part of the soul of New Orleans and I highly recommend asking them everything about your needs and expectations for the city life.Even writing this makes me want to go back. Ill be back soon and I hope anyone who visits New Orleans and wants to experience freedom and love to its fullest extent visits this bar (more like ballroom with a wonderful sound system and chandeliers).Much love, travelers! And tell Lance that Davie G of Asheville said hello!
Our bartender Alex was great. So happy to have met him. Then Evan came in. Exceptional service and friendly as well. Thanks for a great NO experience!!
I LOVE this place. I’ve been to a lot of gay bars and this is one of my favorite in the world. The men are sexy, the drinks are cheap, music is great. Very welcoming of all. Excited to come back again next time. Yummy ;)
We went on a Sunday for a drag show. Bartenders are friendly and I did not have to wait in line for a drink. The show was great and the queens were hilarious. I would return to catch another show. They open the balcony right before the show so I recommend staying close to that area for the best views.
Staff is rude, was refused service because of American tip culture. Confused, I thought tipping was optional and for good service.Bartender got drinks wrong but we just took what got made.Got charged a cover to be there where does this money go? Clearly not to compensate staff.
Oz checks all the boxes of a great gay bar, and ups the ante with fabulous neon art, a photo booth, incredible bartenders and a sexy team of go go dancers. There’s a whole second floor with a patio overlooking the street and a balcony inside the club overlooking the dance floor.Great vibes, can’t wait to return for more.
RUDE, RUDE, RUDE STAFF!!!Hello Oz Team, since no one never replied to the email that I’ve sent last week, I hope everyone is gonna see this review. Most of the staff at Oz is extremely RUDE and very disrespectful, they know nothing about being Polite to someone, specially in the Hospitality Industry (which I am part of and I work at a bigger, busier bar, etc)! Also for a place to represent the LGBTQA+ community, where in this world we need more kindness among humans, but can’t find it at Oz, the staff is so RUDE there!I don’t recommend anyone to go there or support that business/ staff at all, I deeply regret the dollar$ that I’ve spent there because of the way that the staff treats people that are supporting them, not only me (and not only once) but I also was paying attention and saw the same to others and so on, come on, look at their reviews (and the pictures attached here)!I was visiting for Decadence, during the day I wanted to buy a “Pass” to avoid the outside line later, but I only would like to wear it later at night because I had dinner at a nice restaurant, I had to shower, etc… but the girl wearing the hat 🧢 in the picture (which is suppose to be a “manager” there) had a terrible attitude and yelling at me when telling me if I wanted it that’d need to be on at that time… I understand that sometimes when people are intoxicated some people are slow to understand but I was 100% sober. Isn’t it “my body my choice?”With all technologies out there they still can’t get it right… But they do that because they sell it for $10 extra dollars later at night instead of the day price. Also running all kinds of scam with the “Ca$h” while everyone else works hard and pay taxes honestly & fairly. Plus once someone buys the wristband, that person is suppose to check ID at the door 🚪 prior to get in (which they barely do it and any minor can go in and buy alcohol because Oz Bar only cares about the money).Get better, do better!ChiChi is another one that’s RUDE to customers and also suppose to be a “manager” of the venue, also attached on the picture. If I was in their positions, I’d find a job where I could handle and feel better rather than displace anger on other people. People that are tipping them, paying their Bill$! One day, soon-or-later they’re gonna face the wrong person. Also, same drinks 🍹 at the same night and the same hour are charged differently on each floor. 🤔Disrespectful and sloppy employees. All those creatures and place are terrible for me and I’m not surprised they’re representing that venue.Get better, do better! The other girl sitting on a chair 🪑 at the side door,🚪 one of the nights I politely approached to ask about the “business hours” and she didn’t even listen as I was just starting to ask and she was already pointing to the line by the entrance/ corner door… nothing to do with what I was referring to her, she was shaking her head side to side, must have been on something that I can’t even imagine.Get better, do better!God, we live in a crazy world, lots of weird creatures work at Oz, if someone reading this review and OTHERS care about it, I wouldn’t go there and wish they get fired!I pray for them all.Safety and cleanness is another issue… on the stairs, there’s no handrail where there are steps and that’s a violation. (See picture). In case of an emergency with both floors full, good luck to who’s in there, they have two doors 🚪 that are blocked with gate/ grille. (See pictures).Trash cans piled full of trash everywhere and the bathrooms are so small, dirty and need a lot of work.It was my first & last time there while visiting New Orleans for the Decadence event. Yes, it was a lot for me in just a short period of time, and a lot more people have gone through the same.If a response from Oz is replied here, fake words or excuses won’t improve the reality, you all know how this system works for sure!Thank you for the attention and time for reading this important review.Sincerely.Miners buy alcohol no IDEmergency door 🚪 blocked
What a great place to get a drink in the French Quarter !When my partner and I arrived it was PACKED with happy smiling customers. A great sign but I anticipated some type of wait.Oz proved me wrong! The cute bartender greeted my partner and I right when we walked in, welcomed us to the bar, and took our order. The drinks were tasty, cold, and well mixed. The bar has a nice stage for performances but we went too early to see. This has nothing to do with anything but they have a 15 foot skeleton at the front door that made me laugh 💀 I really wish I could give more than 5 stars; I was having a bad day and Oz turned it around
We went for drag night. Paid the $5 cover charge. When it was time for the show to start, we were told we had to move. Our table was bought. This is a bait to get the cover charge. We left at 8:05 and the show hadnt started. We were told first come, first serve. However, they took our table literally right from under us. This is a scam!!!
What I did not like here it is NOT diverse enough the place catered to one ethnicity boringggg, as well on top of that my friend fell do to poor lighting in the club and instead of asking if he was ok the security guards immediately assumed he was intoxicated as suggested that we leave not into I spoke clear and transparent as how this could of been a dangerous situation for him or any guest after he didn’t even say sorry we immediately grabbed are things and left !!! Moral of the story go to “pages” it’s another LGBT bar and the crowed was mixed and amazing !
Had a great time going to the Wednesday and Friday drag shows. Did a little dancing and the balcony is perfect for chatting and people watching. Will go again when I’m in the area!
The show was AMAZING!! The bartenders were friendly and fast. The go-go dancers were a treat to watch even for a straight woman! We had the best time and it was the highlight of my trip!
I spent most every evening during my first Southern Decadence here, what a blast! Slammed busy wall-to-wall every night, but the staff handled it in stride. I never waited more than a minute or two for a drink from any of the bars. DJs Guy Scheiman & Danny Verde slayed on Saturday & Sunday nights (I was at another party on Friday), and the local resident DJs Tim, Orlando, JRB & Adam delivered high energy before & after. Looking forward to my next visit later this year to New Orleans.
Was there for pride (june 7th) and only knew about it from a friends recommendation. I was there for the Friday show and just seeing alternative drag instead of the chicago beauty queen stuff I usually see was exactly what I needed.
This place was a blast during Mardi Gras. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. It was chill and only $5 to get in. Love that they have security right at the door and that you could come back with your wristband on. Definitely my fav spot on Bourbon that night. The drinks were perfect. There was awesome views from the upstairs balcony. My girl and I enjoyed the men dancing on the bar and it was fun tipping them. We were cracking up that my husband was complimented by a few different men lol. We all had a great time.
Dipped in here to get out of the heat for a bit our first day in New Orleans around 1-2pm on Friday and we were so glad we did! This was probably the 4th place we had stopped in at and Andy the bartender was so awesome! He gave us the rundown on where to eat, get cards read, etc. He made us the best cocktails and they had some great happy hour specials!!! We stopped in every day of our trip afterward to hang with Andy for a bit while we were exploring 😀 Definitely a great place with lots of room, dance floor, energizing music, large bar, and who doesnt love Wizard of Oz decor 🥰🎶⚜️
Extremwly ridiculous prices for a sub par drink in a plastic cup that is measured by an instrument. Its definitely not like it use to be.
Great drag night on a Friday. Justin SideHer was probably the best drag king Ive ever seen. So glad I stopped by.
Went to this location, and had a friend that drank to much, asked bartender for help to call cab, he said I was on my own and was rude, I told him this was not cool, and than he got aggressive and want to fight. Unbelievable, the guy with the bread should be fired, also held liable for his actions. He is a real piece of work, I should have dialed 911 for help, my friend was in bad shape, and he did not care. Very professional never go here.
The performance here was short but really good. The host was really funny and clever and he made sure everyone watching the show is engaged. The atmosphere as great! The patio or balcony area was pretty nice too. The alcohol here is pretty good too but maybe a bit pricy (but reasonable).Had a real fun time here!
This place is always active and lively. Drinks are ok, I dont believe they serve food, but the drag shows and strip shows are on point. I stop by every time Im in town. Be sure to look for Debbie with a D.
Fun gay bar in the heart of Bourbon Street. The bartender Michael was super friendly and made the best hurricane drink and did not over charge for it! I was there on a Saturday night after 9 pm and they had plenty of hot male dancers!
Went to Oz for the first time last week and absolutely enjoyed myself. Will definitely return the next time Im in New Orleans. ❤️
I have never had an altercation with someone until going to this bar, when the doorman tried to lay hands on my friend. We popped in to Oz for some drinks and dancing on our way down Bourbon, and were having a great time. It was fairly empty, and we made friends on the dancefloor. I walked a friend out to her Uber, and then the doorman wouldnt let me back in. I told him I needed to at least get my purse, and he said someone else would have to get it for me and made me wait by the door. At this point I learned that doorman called another friend a c*nt multiple times and made her cry, so everyone was leaving anyway. As they were coming through the door, the doorman started yelling at one of us and lunged at her. My instant reaction was to physically hold him back, so that he wouldnt shove my 53, 100lb friend. He proceeded to scream in my face. I have no clue what this guys problem was, we werent belligerent or anything and had been having a great time up until this point. I genuinely thought he was going to hit me. Do not go here.
What a great place, had the time of my life at OZ. Stopped in to get out of the heat and have a drink. We had such a great time with bartender Josh. Our flights were delayed and we had to stay another day. We had so much fun here that we decided to spend that extra day at OZ. Big thank you to JOSH and ANDY for being so fun and helping us have the time of our trip. We will be back.
Great dance music, friendly and attentive bartenders. No cover when I visited which was a plus. Average prices ( bottled beers were $6)At one point in my visit, one of the bartenders began doing management type paperwork and WEIGHING all the liquor bottles on a scale. This suggests very strict controls from management with regards to how much bartenders can pour ( e.g. a focus on making as much money as possible and eliminating comped drinks ).
Boylesque.... yes it is a thing, yes it a must see, yes it is at a gay bar, no you will not get hit on... unless you really want to. Trixie Minx emcees the show every Tuesday night and provides the female liking side of the audience with a very enjoyable show that compliments the male liking entertainment. Ive said it many times, the Boylesque entertainers are pure entertainers, they often put so much more into their performances than just taking off clothes, not that this isnt true for Burlesque, just that with burlesque, it is not uncommon for the performers to think all they have to do is take off their clothes without a real routine.
The best Dance Club in NOLA! I went here in 2005 and again for NYE 2024! Great service, cute dancers, good local drag, and the best music!
OMG !!!!!! The staff was amazing, especially Aaron ( I hope I remembery the correct name). Just stopped by for drinks but stayed to chat with my server, as well as listened to the music. If you love house music, eclectic music and friendly people this is your place.
In town for Decadence, paid for. VIP admission. could not stay! “DJ” Chi Chi La Rue, might be the worst music player ever, anything but a DJ. She was over driving the system and amps shutting down every 2 minutes. Worst experience in a bar in my life. Transitions were like an amtrak barreling throughBare severely understaffed for the crowds.Big disappointment,God thing they made big $ at the door because getting a drink was challenging.A lot of people would be on my chopping g block for that performance.sorry, but this is all the truth.
Just a heads up if you go to this bar. The Queens are amazing, enjoyed the show. Just sad that manager and according to him, the owner as well, don’t care about their Customers. Last night, the a/c was out, crowded room, all having an amazing time with friends, I got a little too hot and had stopped drinking. I needed water because I felt like I was about to go out. They want to charge $4.50 for a small cup of tap ice water!! So instead of taking care of the customer who could have a heatstroke in your hot bar, paying your bartenders and Queens (dropped over $200 on the Queens alone) , they choose to deny me a glass of water. Like seriously!! I guess I should of just sat there, had a heatstroke and instead of calling 911, call my attorney!! It’s a shame that a business that’s A/C is out in the middle of summer in Louisiana, won’t give a 12oz cup of water out for free. Every bar that I have went to this summer in NOLA has had ice water already available to anyone that walks in. He said that the bar can’t afford to hand out free water, that they would go broke giving out water. Walked across the street into the Pub, never said a word, was giving a glass of water because the bartenders there recognize when someone was in need of being cooled off. Great job Brandon at Pub for your staff and how well they take care of the customers.
Soo my experience was positive at night. Whoever the old bartender wearing leather is that they have on Sundays, he’s super rude. My friends walked in and had hand grenades which apparently outside drinks aren’t allowed (you’d think the bouncer would have said they can’t come in) but he checked everyone ID and let them in.I joined my friends shortly after getting ready at my hotel, walked in and sat with them at the bar. I was waiting to be asked if I wanted a drink, it took this man 20 minutes to even realize we were at the bar! Then the moment he realized we were there he began to cuss, yell and scream about how no outside drinks are allowed. We stared at him in confusion as to why he was talking to adults that way, especially when it was his bouncer that that let us in with the drinks. Super unprofessional, very disturbing and definitely definitely a bad representation on the bars part.On a positive note the daytime bartender that day was sooo lovely. Myself and my partner stopped by on our way while walking around and he made us feel so welcomed.
Listen, this place is awesome. Friendly staff, the drinks are great. The will be my go-to bar when I go back.I loved the drag queen show.
Came to New Orleans with my friend for his birthday! His boyfriend, him and I had the best experience here at OZ! Ryan was our bartender for the night! Sassiest, sweetest, best bartender I’ve ever had! 10/10 would recommend visiting when they are working!
Bartender took one look at us, saw we were twice his age and ignored us even though there were less than ten people in the place. Never did get served.
Love love love this bar to dance! It’s some of the best dance music here. It’s a day bar but literally everyone is welcome! The staff is really friendly and welcoming and the drinks are decently priced. The dancing guys are a nice touch. Definitely give this place a try if you are looking for a night full of dancing!
The best part about this place is the music. The drinks were average.. nothing exceptional. The bartenders were friendly. The bouncers seemed annoyed with their jobs. But overall, it was an enjoyable experience.. however, I don’t think they should charge a cover when nothing is really “happening” inside, even if it’s just $5.
Oz New Orleans is a fantastic place. It is very much so a safe and fun environment. I will always go back when I return to New Orleans. The employees are very friendly there and I very much so felt safe. I have not had so much fun in a very long time. 10 stars to me.
First time here did have a great time love the music and the second floor bar where you can go to the patio and have a nice view.
Great location, friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks. Will be back!
Had a great experience Friday night but tonight was really awful. Rude staff and bartenders. I totally get how awful tourists can be but making me feel awkward and unwelcome for my drink requests isnt cool. I felt like I was inconveniencing the bartender by ordering a round of drinks. And the buckets full of piss water under the urinals to trap leaks is pretty gross. Also, for being a unisex bathroom my non male friends had a horrible time. My female friend got urine on her clothes using the inadequate stall.
Fun place to dance with friends and a night out at the French Quarters.
Great staff good views very good prices
1st time ever in a gay bar, the people were so friendly. The lady bartender (sorry I didnt get her name but she was great) went out of her way to get us a table for the drag show. Everyone enjoyed it and had a lot of fun! The queens were great, great DJ and great emcee! Gay or straight, they welcome everybody, even the other patrons there were nice! I highly recommend OZ
Want your wallet stollen at the Oz bar?! Got to this place then! All fun and games until someone on the dance floor reaches in your back pocket and takes your wallet! The bartender said “you’re the 20th person to come in here today and inquire about a wallet” they got gay schemers in this place. Be careful & keep looking for better bars, staff is thieves & so is their clientele
My wife and I went here twice and this was our favorite place on Bourbon St. Bartenders were friendly and the drag shows were a lot of fun
Very rude bartender. Not worth your time. Asked for water, said I can give you some, but it will probably give you salmonella. I asked for another drink , rude again. Went to Good friends and it was great.
I stopped in during the quiet of a mid-afternoon the last time I was in town. I stayed for a couple of drinks because the bartender was so charming. But I had a dinner engagement so, sadly, I had to leave before the Drag Queen Bingo started. Maybe next time Ill stay and play if theyre still doing that.
My friends and I were trying to be customers here recently. I asked for a water, he tried to sell me a twenty cent bottle of water for THREE FIFTY. Are you for real? They “don’t do tap water.” Is what he said. Ok sure but like you’re a business on Bourbon Street. If the drunk people want water, you give them your disgusting tap water. Come on. I’m sorry that’s just unacceptable. Then my of age friend was told he couldn’t come in. His ID is out of state but if you know how numbers work, you’d know that he is plenty old enough to come in. It’s clearly him in the photo too. He didn’t say thing besides, “No.” what the actual heck?!
All my friends ranted and raved about this place as I told them about my upcoming trip to New Orleans, and I see why. Its clearly a hub for whats happening on the Gay scene. When in full operation, there is two floors with three bars. They have nice eye candy dancing on their bars and great music pumping on the dance floor. Many a drinks were purchased here, a nice highlight of my trip.
Great place to watch drag shows and dance
Went 1/21/22 Music was good but drag show was so horrible that we had enough and left the drag preformer was so desperate, drunk and winey that we decided to spent our time at Bourbon Pub and Corner Pocket. Glad we left cause we had more fun elsewhere.
OMG I’m from St. Louis and went to the OZ and had such a great time!!! Andy was amazing and if I ever come back this is my first go to spot. You should so check it out you will enjoy it.
Drag...lol the only drags in the club were the host and the D Jisjh. You better who your customers are. Sysgen only )!( not Burner friendly.
This place is ozsome. Some really great music and service.
This place has always been a go to dance spot while in New Orleans. However, I will cation patrons to be aware of your charges. Over Halloween weekend beers ranged from $4 -$7 depending on the bartender, which leads me to believe they are pocketing the difference. Change was also ‘miscounted’ twice. I can only imagine the poor souls who don’t even notice this.
Employees forgot to reserve the table that we had sat at. Instead of politely telling us of their mistake and asking us to leave the table, they were extremely rude and made up a lie that we threw away a “reserved sign.” There was never a reserved sign, we had sat at the table for over an hour and no one said anything to us! Napoleon’s Itch, is across the street from Oz, is much better, and has better drinks!
One star for requesting a song 3 hours ago and never hearing it. They said “we got hacked”. Never heard any of the 5 songs I requested. 1 extra star for the raw talent that somehow presents itself at this establishment.
I mean, ryan is cool. Nah but fr; don’t lose him. We were visiting for my birthday and from one bartender to another, he’s the best.
I have attempted to reach them multiple times regarding a lost item and I have yet to receive any kind of response. Also the phone number provided via google is a non working number.
It was pretty solid when I came here. There wasnt a cover but we did go during the week. I enjoyed the performances, the performers did a great job!
One of the employees grabbed my arm and dragged me very aggressively out of the club for vaping inside. I didn’t see the sign that said it’s prohibited. He could of politely asked not to vape inside. Never been so disrespected at a club before. Luckily they let me stay, I would of left but my friends had already paid the cover, and I didn’t want their money to go to waste. I understand rules are rules but that situation could of been handled a little better and he should of never of been so aggressive
Great bar with a good atmosphere! Cam the bar man was awesome. Good pop/dance music
Cheap drinks great music and has a dance floorWill say it isn’t super busy but people come and go in waves since there are so many bars around
I am a lesbian and was excited to FINALLY get to the gay bar on bourbon street, but refused to go in on arrival solely because they had a COVER!!! It was only 5 bucks which I could afford but its bourbon street NOBODY has a cover!! Like thats the point to bar hop freely why pay when there a MILLION bars that are free!! Very upset with the gay family for doing this!
Super fun LGBTQ friendly bar. Came on a Saturday evening and it was $5 cover. The staff is very friendly and so are the patrons. Everyone is friendly and having a good time.
I had the best time of life last night this place made an old man fell alive again. The entertainment was great the dancers were sexy and went that extra steep to inter act with the everyone that was there. The drags performance was wonderful.
Chichi is literally the best human i’ve ever met. come to oz and meet the very 1st trans GM you will have the time of your life!!!
It was a great place, the bartender was fabulous and made my drink exactly how I like it for me everyone seemed friendly! unfortunately one staff member spoiled the experience for us and made our night awful ... why? because I was talking to his partner !!! he had us escorted from the premises and I dropped my wallet and passport in the process. My friend went back to get it and they refused to give it to her and threatened to have her thrown in jail ... another manager came out and handed her my wallet eventually. I traveled from the other side of the world to be here and that particular experience took the shine off New Orleans for us. The good thing is that happened early on in our trip and we were able to see that the rest of the city is filled with beautiful and friendly people. I will be making sure that I tell everyone about my night was on account of it. People of Oz... that sad little staff member needs to know youre running a business not a school playground.
Very friendly bartender. This apparently is a “hip” spot, but we werent there with other people so we didnt witness anything particularly interesting. Apparently its a great place for dancing, but they do have a cover charge when they are busier!
Prick ass dancer had my friend kicked out because he wouldnt tip him, so we all threw our drinks out and left. Security said its my friends fault for not tipping. Never going back. Club across the street is better and never has covers or douchebag security.
The atmosphere here was great. When i’m in Nola, this is the only dance club for me
Amazing show. All of the ladys were wonderful.. Everyone was warm and welcoming. We had a blast. Highly recommend...
This place... No. Please ladies. Spare your selves. No lock on RESTROOM. The ceiling was leaking. My friend had to clean the toilet seat for me because I was dying holding it in after trips to the bars and waiting for a response to get no toilet paper but bar napkins. I think there was pee or semen on the seat or maybe even wfrom the leaking ceiling. I got a URINARY TRACT INFECTION! The bartender harassed my girlfriend outside of the restroom asking for cocaine AND THREATENED TO KICK HER OUT! For what? To get coke from her. He buckled down after my friend and I came out of the restroom. Admitting he wanted drugs and acted like he did nothing else but his job.
On walking in it looked grim and the toilets could certainly do with updating , even a lock on them would help. Drinks were the most expensive we had payed in N O and the entertainment was the most amateurish, we didn’t stay long !
I have never felt so disrespected in my life. The mustached bouncer is an absolute bigot who uses foul language and excessive force. I HIGHLY recommend just you avoid the this bar.
Fun place, even on a Tuesday night
I was going to be charged a $5 cover to get in and I refused. I stoped to the side and watched as the same bouncer allowed other white patrons walk in with no cover. I asked why the difference and the bouncer said they were charged. I said no they were not, I watched as all 3 of these groups walked in and continued on with their night.
Tried to get in and the bouncer turned us away and refused to take our IDS, we are all 23+ and he was completely rude to us. We are visiting from Ohio and are a few gay girls so it was a very disappointing experience.
Awfully quiet compared to decades gone by. But it was only 10pm. My friends and I were wondering if Oz has become predominantly a lesbian bar? It seemed that way on Friday at 2200 hrs. 😊
They play awesome music and it’s always a good time. -1 star for cover charge and okay drinks. I would drink your way up bourbon and end up here to dance.
Some annoying bald bartender forced me to buy a drink as soon as I arrived, when I wanted to wait on my date first.Ended up getting kicked out for saying I was going to buy a drink in a little bit. I ought to press charges, as he picked the Latino to pick on and not the random other white boys without drinks.
Fun place to dance but both bars would not give me tap water. Pretty sure this is illegal?Said I could only purchase bottle water and wouldnt even give me a cup to go to bathroom sink.
Andy the bartender was amazing very nice guy!! We came from Dallas Tx to party and now we have a forever spot as long as Andy is here!!
The week nite Oz Bartenders are nothing but rude thiefs. They demanded you buy a drink as soon as you walk thur the door. Bottled water cost $5.00 each. One rude bartender was so aggressive he demanded we purchase something from him or we had to leave. Once we purchased the over priced bottle water we watched and noticed he never demanded that with other people. He seemed to target non white people. When asked why water so expensive,.. He said we were not locals (which we are)and its Bourbon street they could charge more. And smiled ..A very bad experience. Wish I could say something nice!
Loved the customer service Ryan gave. Such a sweet experience when you can enjoy your day and still connect with the workers. Thank you!!
Pretty good dance club atmosphere, good drinks, pretty good price, music is very eh imo…but the bartenders Ryan, Jojo, and Cameron are the best!
Do not meter my drinks in New Orleans….
Had the best time ever here I was here on business by myself and Cameron the bartender was always friendly outgoing and makes you feel welcome getting ready to move to the area in the next 60 days this will definitely be my go to hardly recommend it
The drag show here is amazing with a lot of diversity, had a lot of fun here. Great music as well and you can bring outside drinks in which I thought was pretty cool 👍🏼
So I’m trying to stay sober and still paying &3.40 for a Diet Coke? Where I’m from it’s free, New Orleans or not being responsible is free!
Had a great time time at the drag show. Apostrophe was awesome, and the lineup was amazing! Would go again.
Def coming back. Ryan has to be the best bartender I’ve met. Made my night great!
This is best place to dance on Bourbon. Free to get in every night except Friday and Saturday. My favorite gay bat in New Orleans!!
There was no cover when I went. It has a nice layout. Bar and service were garbage. Meat market but there was some diversity.
The bar man made an extra charge of 24 dollars without me realizing it, be very careful
Im from Texas the happy hour ended at 8 waited at the bar at 755pm to get my happy hour price he closed people out then at 801 took my order instead of it being 8 dollars 2 drinks it went to 13.50 so he screwed us over complete scam very upset not to mention they false advertise they say half off during happy hour but its not
We had a blast here!! the drinks are strong!!! the balcony is fun!!!!
The staff were so kind but I would prefer a better playlist including Turkish arabesque music so I could feel home but thanks
Its great this is one of the very few bars that let you in even if youre 18. Unlike other places at Bourbon that will only let you in if youre 21 or older.
Fun bar on bourbon street. Watched a great drag show, all the songs were bangers. Great night out.
I just come here on Tuesdays for Bourbon Boylesque and now on Fridays for the Drag Show hosted by Apostrophe.... best events on Bourbon Street! Never disappoint!!
An excellent balcony in the FQ.
I loved my fav queen Ryan he served me love in that drink and provided top quality service. 😍💗
Seems like a fun place, but my first time to NOLA and this is where I chose my night, was maybe a max of 15 people in here all evening/night. Sad. :/
Came for Halloween weekend, an amazing epic weekend at Oz, so much fun with a very friendly staff.
Had a great time at this welcoming and fun gay bar on Bourbon!
This place is fun, conveniently located in the french quarter and has good music. Opened late.
In the past month Ive been in town twice and any given time theres always a different themed show!!!! I always have a good time
Yo the vibe is good but the mic was way too LOUD on strip-off Thursday night in a way that hurts my ears
It was great watching the bar tender pocket the money we gave him to pay for drinks👍🏼 Easy $15 made for the night #whoneedstips
Nice music, go go dancers (during pride anyway), quieter than the bar across the street and a great stage for the drag shows
Great music and great vibe. We danced the night away.
Very nice views and delicious pastries 😜
The place is fine and somewhat entertaining but the staff, especially the DJ, were complete jerks.
Meh... Ill go when friends are in town. It looks better than it did while I was there which couldnt have been too hard.
Great Happy Hour every day. Even the top shelf liquors are half off!
They should provide water to guests that doesn’t cost $4.50! A public health hazard and social disservice all in one.
Drag Bingeaux was really fun! Good drinks! Friendly Staff!!
Great dance club and atmosphere. Fun and friendly staff.
Great bar for fun and a taste of the life you could live by just walking in the door.
Fun, I guess. Had more fun at Bourbon Pub/Parade across the street and Good Friends down a few blocks.
New Orleans rules allows antigen test but this bar does not. Enough said
Okay dance floor and dancers. Music is okay. Honestly prefer pub next door.
I was there for Mardi Gras right after Hurricane Katrina I loved the bar it was awesome
Great drinks, great atmosphere, great views! Love the music and fun.
Special event that was more like a private party. They shouldn’t have let others in at $10 each.
Good music, but the staff are EXTREMELY RUDE, I will definitely not go back here!
Must go to this place and watch the drag show on Saturday night at 8 pm!
Good Bar With Lots Of Theme Nights.... Drag Show Is Every Wednesday And Sunday....
Fun drag show! Apostrophe is such a good host.
Nice patio seating but food and services are less than par.
Upstairs bartender only serves one side
Great place now if I just find my phone that I lost there a Samsung Galaxy lll in a green otterbox
Sat there 20 minutes, the bartender couldnt be bothered to cone over.
We had an amazing time at OZ. The music is the best.
This place is NOT open. Go across to Parade and have a great time!
Good drinks, nice crowd, and sexy bartenders!
They seriously need to step their game up when it comes to music. Really generic and boring. Other than that it was ok.
Great trans drag show!
Music good but staff are rude and nothing special
Craig Fields should not be allowed in the front door must less give a review
Fantatsic staff, music snd the attendees are great too
Great place and great music! Its always alive and popping.
This place isn’t it y’all and especially if you’re looking for a diverse crowd.
Staff very rude. Drinks quite expansive.
You can literally dance until the sun comes up.
Awesome spot for late night or rather all night debotchery.
Super friendly the bartender Luke was amazing!!!
The stars dont lie. The problem starts at the door.
One of a dozen gay bars but one of the nicer ones
Great drag show!
Great Sunday night drag show!
Had a fantastic time thanks to Derrick.
Always the best dance club in New Orleans.
It was a great place for music and dancing
Staff rude. Not ally friendly. No toilet paper. Over priced.
Drag shows here are always amazing!
Kinda fun but the DJ is awful!
