So glad we came across this place! It was karaoke night, which was so much fun! The bar staff were very friendly, we got to meet the owner Mike who was hosting the karaoke event. He was so welcoming and kind! Definitely the best bar we experienced on Bourbon St.
RACIST ESTABLISHMENT! I went there during French Quarter Fest 2024. As soon as me and my friend (whom was a woman but we weren’t together) entered we were greeted with nasty stares and unwelcome vibes from STAFF! And the rest of the people that are attracted to this place.Once we got to the bar my friend used her card and I sent her my $$ for drinks as I didn’t have mines. She circled zero for tip(was budgeting) and the server TOBY!!!!!! Told us the following things.1. If we couldn’t tip we should stay home with a bottle.2. We should try working on burning street for a night3. We were selfish individuals4. He told us that if he was too broke to afford a tip then we should stay home and not waste anyone’s time.I made a report and management did NOTHING! They let the complaint slide under the rug. They hate young black gay people. This is an unwelcoming place for black gays in a predominantly black city. This is a terrible, nasty, poorly kept up place and I’m sure that there’s some kind of code enforcement violations with the building.
Went for Her Haus event. Drinks were WEAK! Total scam. Also the restrooms were worse than a public park. Why have a woman’s event at a nasty men’s bar?! The go go dancers were fun!
This bar is very upbeat and a huge +because it has a fireplace. While my friends and I were out and about on Bourbon Street I needed to pee really bad before we left and ended up in a gay bar! True storyThey have a huge screen right above the bar playing all kind of music videos everybody having a good time and many drinks customized by the bartender.A big deal breaker for the bathrooms is there is one big main bathroom with multiple stalls for men however the womens bathroom is a one person occupancy only. Bummer for the ladies. Its definitely okay because they make up for it with dancing!Theres ample room for dancing and walking as the bar is in the center of the establishment with very wide walk room around in a square. We did not stay long but for the 30 minutes we were there it felt like we partied all night like it was 1999! Fun place for gays and straights alike! Get lost on Bourbon and have some bourbon French Quarter Style!
Had stopped in for a few drinks after a little meandering with a friend during mid-afternoon on Sunday. Toby provides quick service, emits positivity and is easy to engage with, creating a comfortable and easy-going atmosphere. Thank you for such a friendly and welcoming experience!
Cruiser spot with a dance club vibe as well as with outdoor/balcony seating!
Alex at the bourbon pub is one of the best people i’ve met in my life…we came for Christmas last year and again this year just for him…i’m so serious, we hope he’s here again next year. such a kind and fun soul with excellent service, we could not ask for a better bartender here. made us feel so welcome on xmas day two years in a row and has always provided great service. THANKYOU BOURBON PUB AND ALEX FOR MAKING US FEEL LIKE THIS IS HOME
Bartenders are rude, obnoxious, and full of themselves. Dont waste your money here. Plenty of options that are not this place.
All the bartenders here are incredible people. Was here for the weekend and they kept me coming back because of how great they were. David is such a light and such an amazing person. This will be my go to every time I come back to NOLA!
Great alternative to your big dance club. They show Music Videos downstairs and has a balcony and small dance floor on the upper level.
Good music, good service, reasonably priced drinks
It’s a fun club. But the bartenders are rude and can’t deal with crowds. Never ever have I been accosted by a bartender because I asked for a drink he was out ofFine but get it. But it’s NOT MY FAULT you don’t have it. Don’t be rude.If the bartenders showed some courtesy they might actually get a decent tip. They’re rude and complain about 1_2$ tips lol.
Best pub we have found in the quarter, the bar tenders are fantastic, the drinks are great and they are welcoming to all! Bring your lgbtqia+ and your straight friends, they will treat you right!
Just got back from our 4 night trip with our 2 friends. We stopped in this bar and it was so much fun that we went back a second night too. The people and atmosphere was great and so were the drinks! The Cherry bomb is a must try! Shout out to Toby who was the best bartender! Our next time out there we will definitely stop back! Thank you for making our trip to New Orleans great!
The bouncers here shoved my girl down the stairs at the entrance. All she did was ask them a question on why our friends couldn’t go in. They had no answer. She asked a couple more times and the guy told her to Meade and shoved her. She fell and cracked 2 ribs.
Nice LGBT bar to hang out at on Bourbon Street. Drinks were a little higher priced than other places and you pay more if you’re using a card, but whatever. The bartender was super nice! Probably one of the nicest ever. My receipt says Charles so I am assuming that’s his name. I’d definitely visit again when I return.
I used to have fun at this place when I lived near New Orleans. Revisiting several years later, however, was a miserable experience. I went on a Saturday night in the middle of June the year before COVID hit. Its Pride Month and youd think it would be packed. Sadly, only a couple dozen guys were in both the upstairs and downstairs bars. I would have danced but there was NOT ONE PERSON ON THE DANCE FLOOR. Also, they dont accept Discover cards even though my debit card is only nominally associated with Discover through my bank. I had to get cash out of an ATM. I noticed also I was getting different prices for the same drink in the upstairs and downstairs bars. After about a half-hour, I had had enough. So I hightailed it out of there and went to Oz across the street. They do accept all debit/credit cards and there was at least a lot of action on the dance floor. Why is the Bourbon Pub so awful now to the extent that not even the natives go there anymore?
White Guy that works down Stairs with a ponytaill around220 pounds, was very rude, he was upset because I wasnot buying drinks from him, we were waiting for theNapkin hour, Some guy came and gave us napkins, before the show he asked us for the fourth time ifwanted to buy a drink we said ( we were super exited andand nice to him the whole time ) he took the napkinsaway from us in a very rude way !!Im two years sober so I don drink!! I went with mypartner who was drinking upstarts so we went down at9:20 before the show when this happenedHe needs to learn that there is people who just want toenjoy the company of other gay people, watch a show andgo home. I know that he makes money by tips but Imsorry I dont drink any more
Drinks aren’t cheap. They sometimes charge a cover depending on what’s going on, but it’s still a really good gay bar, I love the music videos and music that play while the guys dance on the bar. Definitely give this place a shot. The staff is also really friendly and welcoming.
The place to go in the french quarters for any holiday or anytime is The Bourbon Pub and Parade, the Energy is always on, the best service, friendly bartenders, music, videos & DJs, always a good time!! Halloween in Nola is always incredible the best costumes Wow!! LOVE this Place!! I highly recommend this venue!! Never disappointed :) Anytime of year at this venue is a good time!! Hana
The Bourbon Pub is the Best! It’s the Go-To Place for a good time! whether it’s drink, music, atmosphere, or the people you will find it all here. I realize the Our Way of Life, “Normalcy” has been interrupted or permanently changed. What are the Bar hours ? I’ve notice closing time varies from time to time & wondered if new hours of operation have been established . Thank you!
Got a well vodka soda downstairs $5...30mins later got a well vodka soda upstairs $7 ....not right! Bar prices are not consistent. $7 for a drink is fine but its the principle to keep things consistent
David is absolutely the best bartender on bourbon street. The whole atmosphere is awesome. Absolutely the most welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend if your visiting
Fun place! Loved the musicals on the TVs. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by the bi-polar bartender Dakota. Was sitting at the bar with a few friends when he snapped at us for seemingly no reason and literally threw a bear can at me! Just leaving a warning for others. He is friendly to start, but turns ugly quick.
Great drinks and good prices. Great bartender with a extremely friendly personality. Last night in town and totally enjoyed the conversation with him. Btw....hope to see u at the KY Derby next year!!!!
Its a fun bar. Lots of good old songs to enjoy and sing along with. However, having come here on and off for a number of years, I am finding some of the crowd to be more rude.To expand, I sat an open bar stool and within minuets a patron rushed over and stated I didnt belong there and to get lost. He was rude, drunk and a verifiable jackass--in short,!drunk stupid. I was extremely cross, but opted to stand. In short order, one of the bar tenders saw what transpired and removed the inebriated offending party.Fun place, but I dont like dealing with a drunken crowd that is incapable of the most simple human decencies and respect of a person that is a member of an allegedly civilized society.I shant return for a long while. I am displeased!
Stays opens 24 hours with good music and drinks. Ron the bartender is awesome with great service and drink making. Plenty of shows throughout the week. Weekend does get busy, also Sunday is known as Sunday Funday with a show at 8pm with unlimited drinks starting at 6pm.
Drinks aren’t cheap and the facilities aren’t amazing. Still, it’s the best gay bar on Bourbon St. go before they start charging cover and enjoy the Gogo boys on the bar. Once the cover starts (and especially for the drag show) it’s not worth it.
It was okay. They accept VISA and MasterCard, and of course cash. The dancers were okay... one of them peed next to me and I had a nice little conversation with him. Not necessarily a place you want to hang out at for more than 15-20 minutes.
Visiting from Minnesota and this was our favorite gay bar in NOLA. Bartenders were great especially Toby who was so friendly and awesome. Will definitely be back!
This pub has really great food and even better beer. It is a Bourbon St. must do. In addition, the views of Bourbon street and passersby is quite a sight and experience. Bourbon street is not for the faint of heart. At night you can expect to hear a cacophony of frat boy screams along with the stench of vomit and stale urine in the air. There is absolutely nothing like it though. It is super fun!
Great atmosphere, decent dancers and music. Their drink and drown special on Sunday evenings is my favorite. I like the places esp because its more of an open space and its never overwhelmingly crowded
Do not miss out on this place! Bartender was fun and knowledgeable. My wife and I spend a long time here. Less drunk crazy and more fun crazy people here. Had a really fun time we laughed a lot. Music was upbeat too.
Worst bar ever! Rudest people at the entry, the bar and every aspect of the bar experiance. If your not best friends with the staff dont bother showing up. Very selective and very rude place. Will never try to go back ever... no wonder the bar is empty and amazing they stay in business!
Toby is amazing! This bar is great!!!
Attended Red Dress Event this past Saturday! Great fun. David did a masterful job with a big smile with the large crowds of folks!
Fun gay bar. Friendly bartenders and karaoke night was a win!
Always a must when we are in town to visit. The staff is great. The shows are fun, just wish they would start on time. Blingo is always fun. Day time or night time I have a good time there.
Fantastic place, even though some customers tried to to get me to dance on the bar tonight lol, really enjoyed it and the bar staff (dint know their names but only 2 on tonight and 1 had lots tattoos) were amazing. Thank you so much xx Shame we have to go back to UK tomorrow xx
Love this bar! Tried the others but always feel drawn to this one. Most of the bar tenders are very personable and make you feel like a local. Love the atmosphere and guys that visit.
Went to a private party upstairs and the brides could not have picked a better place! The atmosphere was amazing the staff were overly friendly. Hanging out on the balcony was an all around win!
Definitely if the best bars AND dance club! The bartenders rock and the company is nice and it super fun to sit on the fireplace and watch the videos while simultaneously checking people out.
Great bar. Busy when others werent. Nice people. Great drinks. Bartender Wayne was AWESOME!!!!
Spent a little bit of time here last weekend. The staff was super friendly. The music isn’t the best best, but it does the job. I liked the atmosphere.
Used to be a great bar but they've really started trying to squeeze their customers for every nickel of profit. The locals go elsewhere and leave the pub to the tourist trade now.
Great and the guys atthe bar are really good with what they do.
The heavy weight black security guard is the worst. Disrespectful and doesn’t know how to do his job. Screw him but love this place.
Friendly, welcoming, amazing drag show and the strongest whiskey sour Ive had in a while. Had a great night!

This place does not like black people at all!!They are very disrespectful towards black people and will greet you with fake smiles andThey will also spit in your drinks so be careful if your a person of color..
Great place for people to have a good time. But it needs to be cleaned up. The air conditioning didnt seem to work at all.
Its a fun place. Not like the bar/club across the street though. But still had a wonderful time here with friends.
Scam. They had two entrances, one with a $5 Only for the main floor, and a second with a $15 For both floors. We went in the $5 entrance not knowing about the other, and they wanted to charge us the full $15 to go the the second floor rather than the $10 difference.
This was my favorite bar in New Orleans. Great energy, easy to meet all kinds of people, best location. Looking forward to returning.
Nice place. You actually feel welcomed here. People and staff are nice! Go here INSTEAD of going to Oz across the street. That place is hostile and unsafe.
Best bartending staff, and great music oh and if you like the downstairs vibe dont forget to check the upstairs too great club vibes and a overall must check out
Great place to chill out and have drinks. Wonderful staff and friendly locals. Josh was amazing..thanks for the laughs 😀
This bar is a bar. It’s got drinks and high prices and is on Bourbon street. Gay bar is hard to define since it’s so crowded.
Nice bar on Bourbon St. Great music/video. First one we decided to go in to. Defiantly a good choice.
Dont waste your time. The person at the door was extremely rude and its cash only. Its 2017 I will not patronize somewhere that does not accept cards or digital payment.
Literally stumbled into this place! Nice upbeat atmosphere! Friendly people, good drinks, good service!!
Def the place to be on a sunny day , esp on Sunday funday , everyone is out, esp the locals and right across the street is oz , an awesome dance club
Great bar friendly staff drinks a little high but gotta catch happy hour
Super friendly and informative bartender. Drinks were good without being too strong. Clientele was pretty friendly.
Very comfortable here.. especially upstairs...overlooking Bourbon St...less crowded generally than downstairs!!
I got sick off their crown royal. I’m pretty sure they are cutting it with cheap bourbon.
The worst experience. Thrown down steps by a bartender and hit with a microphone by a performer. No cooperation from them for accountability. This place is for scums run by scummy management and employees
So I paid, $125 for a VIP Pass, and the bartender wouldn’t even give me water. That’s just irresponsible and unforgivable.
The best there is in music drinks and people.....the Pub shines bright like a diamond with a world class staff that keeps the beat going till the sun comes up and beyond!!
A great place to go! When in the Big Easy you have to visit this place! If you are alone when you come in you wont be when you leave!
The bartender Jessica was super friendly and made tasty drinks👌🏼🥳
Lovely bar staff and one of my favourite gay bars in new orleans
May be a gay place but it’s a happy place
Favorite place to hang out when Im in need of a drink. Nice and spacious
Great place, great atmosphere staff friendly. Prices same as the other areas in the quarter
New Orleans is always a reflection of my soul! 💕💕💕💕ILL LOVE you forever
Music 24/7 great last stop for dancing before heading home.
I liked this bar! Can’t wait to come back!
Great inclusive space to go dancing!
Came during the day so wasnt super crowded, nothing happening til the night time.
Always fun and friendly. Lots of gorgeous Bears! ;)
The greatest experience me and my bf will never forget!
Great fun & nice employees, drinks on the other hand....
Great bar, great energy, great drinks, cute bartenders.
Amazing staff and drinks. 1000%
Its fun, it does the job. Drinks are overpriced because they can.
My go-to gay bar when Im in Na Orleans!
Had a great time doing the Sunday sing-a-long!!
Fun bar. Love that its nonsmoking now. Plays eclectic videos.
Most amazing gay bar on Bourbon
Awesome bar&great bartenders too.
It’s a good time, good drinks
Fun atmosphere, but weak mixed drinks!
Great low key gay bar on Bourbon Street
Bartender was disinterested and on his phone.
Love this place but way over priced for locals to go too...
The male bartenders upstairs need more training
This place is a blast every single time
Best gay bar in the quarter.
This bar is so much fun 🎉💯🍸🥃
Another FQ Institution. Be there for Sunday afternoon/evening for sure.
Sign-a-long Sunday is amazing!

Good music
Amazing vibe
Very diffirent
Classy gay
Magnificent Alessandro... We ended up here by chance (really!!) but we found a unique welcome. Furthermore, Alessandro showed us a couple of excellent restaurants for our stay in New Orleans. Highly promoted. 💋
The perfect place to immerse yourself in some deep Louisiana charm!
This NOLA-style place is a gay bar where many people from different countries come to enjoy good beer and electronic music. The place is spacious and has access to a large balcony on one of the corners of Bourbon Street, especially during the time of year. carnival to throw necklaces the best tradition
The person who was on duty in a very bad mood did not let me in just because I had a Central American passport and not a valid ID from the United States and explained that I was visiting as a tourist and simply left the door leaving me ignored, my first time. here and totally disappointed!!
