Had crawfish for a fundraiser- got so much food and it was delicious- only $15. Everyone was friendly- bar looked amazing, will be back for happy hour

Had a great time here! Sat and chatted with the owner for a bit. He sent over champagne for my birthday celebration and invited us to be his guests at a drag show going on there the next day. We went to the show and had a great time! Drinks were good, people were fun, staff was amazing!

When I tell you my friends and I had a BLAST!!!!! It was definitely an amazing experience! The staff the performers were awesome!!! Im so glad we were able to party with so many fun beautiful souls!! This will always be a place to come visit when I come back!!!! So much fun!!

That bartender wanted us all DRUNK!!!! Be ready to have fun and drink (responsibly) and have a great time. We went on Saturday night so it was packed but the performers were making sure everyone was involved. This place is small but the friendly atmosphere made up for it. They def keep things in order with the seating arrangements (im debating if i can even post the pictures of them being like Magic Mike 😭😭😭)

Amazing place! Came here for the burlesque show and the owner invited us to stay for the drag show also. Both shows were great, the performers were entertaining and the staff was so nice. Great drinks as well. Would definetly come back next time Im in NOLA!

We went here for a girlfriends bachelorette party. The only good thing about this place was the kindness of the performers and the bartender. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed of himself. He was beyond rude and abrasive.

My friends & I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Illusions drag show. We had so much fun. The venue was more than accommodating for me & my wheelchair. The staff made us feel welcome & made sure that I was as comfortable as possible. Thank you for making our night so enjoyable.

Just had the best time at the Drag show at Mag 940 today. The Queens were amazing, the bartender made the best cosmo and the NJ owner was extremely gracious to my group. Been in NO since Thurs, this was our favorite so far. You girls ROCK!!

So many good things to say! The bar is very small and intimate! not too crowded and not too loud you can easily talk to the person next to you. Im not into bars that are way too loud so this was awesome for me. we were greeted immediately upon entering and treated so kindly. the bartender was personable and friendly and even let me sample a drink before ordering to make sure I liked it. the drag show was so fun and the performers were great. the show was a good length, and interactive with the crowd. They were also very funny at times! One performer in particular was so good I think they were honestly the best I have ever seen. They were also very covid-friendly and actually enforced mask rules which was comforting. The staff would walk around and politely tell those not adhering to the mask rule to fix it or get out. Most places dont go that far so we were appreciative that the staff cared about our safety. We came from out of state and I would be so happy to come again.

My wife I stumbled into Mags 940 on New Years Day, 2022, completely by accident. The afternoon that followed was so strange and wonderful that it became the centerpiece of an already memorable trip.Flash forward to March 2023. Back in New Orleans. Back, perhaps inevitably, to Mags. What was supposed to be a drink for old times sake turns into a whole night. Then into the next night as well. Was it weird? Yeah. Did we feel a little dirty after? Yeah. Would I go again? Its just a matter of time.This place is great, and if youre the kind of person to whom the New Orleans vibe speaks directly to your soul, you will love it to.

I had such a great time ! I went solo for the Diva Royale show which I think is the same as the Illusions show. The performers are WORLD CLASS. I have never been to a better drag show than this. It was literally jaw dropping I was throwing money like I didn’t have bills to pay on Monday. So so so amazing and also the owner chatted with me and gave me a run down of the show and the bar and was SO NICE he even said goodbye! Really really enjoyed myself .Also I kept debating whether or not to get VIP tickets and I wanted seat security so I did , which got me closer to the stage which was cool but honestly if you get there 15-25 before the show or even on time you’ll be able to snag a GA seat so I recommend GA if you don’t care too much about being close .

As a group we gave this bar a try because of its burlesque/drag show , it was an awesome time! The staff was very friendly and the drinks were well priced compared to other places. Recommend it if you like to have a fun time

The owner was super nice. We werent from around there and didnt know that it was a gay establishment. He welcomed us and told us tips and safety info about the area. Even though we didnt go into his business he was really friendly.

Their drag shows are so much fun. Very laid back setting. The owner Paul is very nice and made sure to speak to everyone at the bar and make sure they were comfortable!!! Would definitely return when I come back to New Orleans!!

I attended the drag and burlesque shows for my friends bachelorette. The drag show was amazing and deserves 5 stars! However, the burlesque part was extremely uncomfortable and triggering. Rather than the performers putting on a show for the audience, selected audience members became human props.The performers would position and touch all over with no regard for the persons wishes. I watched one bride-to-be who started the performance thrilled to be called on stage, dancing enthusiastically with a huge smile on her face. After a few minutes of strangers rubbing their hands over her entire body, she became increasingly distressed yet still had to put on a fake smile for the audience. And even audience members werent safe from unwanted touching. The entire show felt extremely non-consensual. I normally dont leave Google reviews but felt obligated warn future attendees.

The owner is rude and disrespectful! The establishment is a hole in the wall! He was rude to the BRIDE to BE Which in TURN BACKFIRED on him because the bar WAS DRY!! WE DID NOT OR WILL NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE ANYMORE!! I did however Love the Bartender that I got the 1 drink from before the incident! I didnt get his name but hes a sweetheart!

Great birthday celebration. We received 2 shows for the price of one, Male review and drag show. However, I didnt see why I paid for VIP when everyone one in the bar received the same treatment. Great drinks and those cherry bombs took me to the next level because they were good. Overall i had a great time/night. Performers were great. Everyone celebrating a special occasion received extra attention which was wonderful.

We happened across this place by chance, and wandered in for the *NO COVER* male revue! It was the perfect way to spend a late Friday evening celebrating a friends birthday and her first night in New Orleans. Dancers and staff were friendly, and the cocktails were reasonably priced.

Ive never had a bad time here. Princess Stephanie, Edward, and John are great assets to this bar that caters to everyone with a variety of different events during the week. Definitely check out Hunk O Mania if youre there on the weekends. Diesel and the rest of the guys definitely live up to all expectations!

The owner of this bar is a creep. The stripshow, while entertaining, crossed lines with our bride and was not worth our time or money. The wines were left uncorcked, the beer tops were rusty and the bartender wiped them off with her HANDS, and anytime a mask was taken down for a picture or to sip a drink, the owner threatened to call the cops on our group several times for THAT. At the end of the night, a girl in our group left our wallet there. When she went to retrieve it the next day, no one in this bar was wearing masks, the owner tried to make her go into the back office alone to retrieve it. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go find male strippers somewhere else.

I was visiting for the weekend and everyone there was so welcoming and accommodating. Paul was such a fantastic host and Casey was the beeeest bartender. He was knowledgeable on what drinks they had available and his in-house infusions were incredibly impressive. I even got to check out Hunkamania and WHAT A PARTY THAT WAS! 10/10! Will definitely have to visit again next time Im in town

I had the best time, as a bride to be, they really treated me like royaly and the drinks were good. Hunkamania was amazing and the drag show was amazing. Thank yoi for showing me a wonderful time!

If I could leave no stars I would. We were welcomed in, then watched like hawks. My friend was grabbed by someone who worked there, was told to sit down and not move. Every time we stood or moved an inch we were scolded while the rest of the bar was having a grand time. Beyond rude. So uncomfortable. Don’t allow people in if you’re going to treat them badly.

Great corner hangout. Tons of shows from Drag to Male review. Princess Stephanie is a wonderful person to get to know. She makes for good company if she isnt too busy!

Very very friendly staff. Had Lavender infused vodka lemonade. Wish Id tríed the Pina colada daiquiri..maybe next time. Nice atmosphere.

Stayed rite by here on my last trip ended a nite out here great drinks and the bar tender was super fun! I left my wallet and flew home next Day the owner mailed it home to me which was a lifesaver! Will def be back my next trip 😃

My buddy and I hit this place after spending several days in the French Quarter. The bartender was awesome. We listened to the jukebox all afternoon! I’ll be sure to visit the next time I’m in the Big Easy

Horrible attitude from bar tender, I was one of the two black patrons in the bar. The bar tender did not serve us, and after I asked him about it, he became rude. I should have knocked his teeth out.

Went here for the Black Diamond male revue. It was great wish they would have rented a bigger place but we all had fun.

Saw a spectacular drag show here and then hung around getting a drink (or ten) having some scintillating conversation with the local gentleman. Seriously, dont miss the shows
