Dolly and I had a blast at Club Caribbean. First & foremost the atmosphere is giving carefully curated AUTHENTIC Jamaican vibes. Visitors are allowed to smoke there and it gets pretty smoky (which is part of the sweet vibes). The music was cool, the DJ plays each song all the way to the end which is pretty nostalgic if you ask me. People actually were dancing which I loved. There are a mix of black folks too: Rastas, dread, locals, tourists, etc.I felt comfortable to dance 💃🏽. There were security at the front and you are not allowed to bring outside drink into the club. I love me a place with some rules. The bar was cool and management there is very attentive and hospitable. Barbie & I will be returning! 💕
This club has always been a vibe! Great people, friendly staff, amazing music, never too crowded. I havent been here in over 10 years and I am a bit afraid of the city now but if I ever visit in the city, this is where Im going. They used to serve free red beans back in the day. I wonder if theyre still doing this in 2023. Happy to see theyre still creating a safe space to vibe out without worrying about looking like a celebrity, just come as you are and enjoy the vibes. Best bar in the city. IMO.
I did not stay long but definitely a very standard establishment away from crazy French quarter crowds. The DJ plays great music even if you dont know the songs. The bartender was very friendly and even offered me a vendor they use for food, the fish was awesome. You are allowed to smoke on the inside which didnt bother me at all. Would definitely go back on a busier night on a trip to NOLA again.
I really used to enjoy this place for it’s laidback atmosphere and vibes but it’s a bit too sketchy if the bartender can leave his duties to follow me around the club with the unfinished drink I left at the bar. Most bar staff would just trash it after it’s been abandoned but no Super Creep decided to follow me outside and insist I finish the drink. It was giving Pill Cosby and I won’t be returning to find out if I’m right or wrong. I called to speak with Alvin about my experience and got a “manager” that refused to share his name with me. Probably the bar guy.
It has been nearly 18 years since I last visited the club. I used to go there all the time when I was in college. Even though the appearance has changed, I was glad to see that the bartender that used to serve me and my friends drinks was still there after all these years. I had a really good time. The bartender was super nice just as I remember him before, except this time he didnt have locs, he was bald. Good times, good music, good vibes and good people at the club
Very nice spot...No complaints aboutthe atmosphere. Great place to go and have a good time. Music is good, its always packed. Security is bit on the ignorant side, but you get what you pay for. I actually brought an investor friend from Detroit and he liked it as well.
I went last night its super fun! You have to have a tolerance for smoke because everyone smokes in there, really and the later it gets the more packed and hype it gets. Outside the food is AAAMMMAAAZZZIINNNGGGGG from the fresh fruits, to the BBQ, to the island plates. They check you as you walk in for weapons and if you arrive before 11pm and you are over 21 you get free admission. After 11pm its a $10 cover.Anyone under 21 (but over 18) must pay a $30 cover, regardless of how early you arrive.Theres a nice outside area to chill and an upstairs. Its cool vibes
Looking for a great touch of Caribbean and Afro music while in New Orleans, this is one place to checkout. They have a blend of dancehall and reggae and culture music and their DJs are too notch. I first went there on a Friday night where it’s more relaxing and calm with amazing bar tenders and bouncers as well. This place is jamming on Saturday nights for anyone who want to hit the dance floor and unleash their inner spirit. It is popping on Saturday nights. Also outside the club on Saturday nights are food trucks 🛻 so u can grab a taste of ur favorite Caribbean foods. Checkout this place if u want that Caribbean experience while in NOLA. Cheers 🍻
Good about the place.Reggae music all night long, cheap drink, free parking.Bad about the place.10$ cover for getting into a place you cant breath couse all the smoke inside.Dont even try any girl couse seem like everybody know each other and just trying to show up.
Needs proper ventilation. Too much smoking. Youre inhaling very high amount of smoke even if you dont smoke..I paid and went in and my sinus actup almost immediately, it felt as if I was asthmatic I had to leave. Waste of money.
Loud music drinking & dancing. If you cant handle smoke dont go. Lastly, the pool table is poorly placed in the corner of the room & poor circulation of air. It will feel as if your suffocating, thats how hot it gets in here.

The inside is all smoke friendly and you smell it. But hey the Nola is hella friendly right? Lets start outside. The foooood. Vegan, BBQ, Burgers, Caribbean, fresh fruit you name it its there. You can hear the base of Carribean music from the streets and they are packed with cars and people so you know its worth the trip. Inside is authentic. Its hot, smoky, loud and just vibing. If you love reggae youll love this club. Its open until at least 4 am and longer during events like Essence Fest this week. Saturday night is the night to check it out.
This place was everything!! The music was really good, my friends and I danced from our first steps in to our last steps out the door. Its kind of far from hotels, if youre a tourist like I was, although worth a taxi ride.

I did not even park my car. I passed and saw people getting ost down and young thuggish crowds I kept going. It’s not like when I use to go to the reggae club at the other cornerI was very disappointed

What a dump! There is smoking ban indoors but this dump was like a chimney. There is no flooring, the place is deplorable. Dump! Dump! Dump!
Don’t eat meat. Portion food too. Drink every drink. Drink each beer.
