What an amazing time at The Fillmore. One word. WOW!!!!I’m in town for the NACM Conference and our conference engagement was held at The Fillmore. I was unsure as to what the location was, however, after I googled it, I instantly became excited for the experience.Walking up to The Fillmore puts you in the mindset of a movie theater as the first thing you see are the stairs heading up to the indoor entrance. Once you hit the top of the stairs, you are met with a beautiful chandelier and dim lighting. The entrance is an open space which allows for ample options of creative design and has a bar to get the party started. LoL!As I walked around the wall to the main area my eyes grew big. The space is hugeeeeeeee. The design puts you in the mindset of a concert venue, yet, it was nice to see how it was converted to meet the needs of our event. There were some Hi-Top Tables placed on the main floor towards the middle, with some sitting tables around the outer area. Each side was lined with mini-buffet tables as we were able to make our rounds and enjoy what each table had to offer. The permanent seating areas fit perfectly as well as they allowed those who wanted to engage but not have to be on the main floor a space to enjoy the night. There is a bar in each side and they are hugeeeeeeeeeeee. This was perfect as we had close to 400 people throughout the night. As the space is designed with sounds in mind, I was happy to hear the clarity of the music as the “Mixed Nuts” band was on stage performing. As they presented stellar vocals and true musicians playing music, the fact that the sound system was crystal clear made their delivery even more enjoyable. The staff of The Fillmore was amazing. From the bartenders, to the servers, to the clean up team. Everyone was very pleasant, delivered a blend of southern charm and warming smiles, and most importantly; they ensured the night was enjoyable. It was truly an amazing experience at The Fillmore. I am so happy to have been afforded the opportunity to experience The Fillmore during my time in New Orleans.

I thought the space was well thought out. The sound was good and the bathrooms were huge. Im taking a star away for the absolutely exorbitant prices of the drinks. Id understand if the show prices were inexpensive but they are not, there is no reason to drink here when you can get a high end, incentive, and excellent cocktail just blocks away for what they charge for well drinks.

Visited The Fillmore for the very 1st time while on vacation in NOLA for my 60th Bday. My Sweetie surprised me with tickets to see the 1st show of the R&B Money Tour featuring TANK! We were the first ones to arrive at the VIP entrance,Mr. Karl Thomas (not the artist) was very engaging and kind, we were there before the metal detector was ready, and he shared he was a life long resident of NOLA, it was great. The VIP Lounge Bartender was awesome (Henry, from Alabama) (I wish I could remember his last name). I did not like the seats being so close together on the 5th row, but I never do at any concert on the floor near the front. The show was awesome hope to catch the show in Virginia.

Good venue to see a show. Sound is great and you can make your way up to the stage for close up viewing. Bathroom is big and clean. Must be 30 pissers in there and clean. Prices on drinks are high as to be expected in a downtown joint. They check your bags and go through a metal detector for security. Many bars and lounge areas with monitors to watch the shows from afar.

Donny was one of the most kind, welcoming workers I have ever met in any venue I have been to (and I am from the New Orleans area). He answered any question I asked, was kind and graceful throughout the night (despite people being intoxicated), and showed the utmost professionalism and respect to every patron I saw him interact with. I had never been to the Fillmore previously; however, because of Donny, genuinely my experience here was incredibly pleasant despite the crowd. Special shoutout to the bartenders for also being so kind. Truly cannot recommend enough.

Excellent venue with fantastic “krewe.” I went to see IDLES & of the staff were so helpful. They handed out earplugs and water throughout the show, always kept an eye on the crowd, and you could tell they were having fun too. The bathroom is giant and clean too. If I was a local, I’d come back all the time. A true highlight of my New Orleans trip.

The place was nice and intimate. The problem was the black bartender with the dreads he was rude and very disrespectful. He was loud, obnoxious, and used profanity. He really act as if he was on drugs and couldn’t control himself. He was given the assignment and the other bartender completed it without any problem but him. He was asked not to make drink overly sweet. When I tasted it I told him and he said it was so good that why it was sweet. I asked to pay for an additional shot and he got crazy. He was an Epic failure!! He needs complete control of temper and training on customer service

The Fillmore is a great place to see a concert in New Orleans. Most of the place is set up for standing so you can get really close to the bands and right in the center of the music. There is sitting around the venue if that’s what you prefer. They have several great bars, excellent bartenders, and several places just to sit and hang out. They have a selection of food too, if you get the munchies. Also, it’s worth noting, there are plenty of toilets in the bathrooms are very clean. If you can go to a show at the Fillmore do it, it’s gonna be a great time.

I recommend GA tickets here. The venue is very spacious with premium seating (high-top tables)on each side of the floor and stadium seating in the back. It’s important to note if you get the VIP lounge experience it is NOT in eyesight view of the stage/artist. It is a lounge room that is outside of the concert hall and you watch the show live on televisions. If you prefer a more private experience, go for it. If you prefer the energy of being in the audience, go for the GA or premium seats in the main concert hall. There are multiple bars inside the concert hall (on each side of the floor) AND another in the lobby/waiting area. The drinks are reasonably priced for an event venue! The doubles are a great bang for your buck.

It was my first time attending an event at The Fillmore… and it did not disappoint!Really love the setup which made Pre-show beverages and navigation super simple. HUGE PROPS to Catherine (I believe) who immediately introduced herself and offered assistance with any requests/concerns I might have. Last, but not least, BIANCA, GETS ALL THE PROPS IN THE WORLD!!! Bianca was on it all night! She (along with the kitchen) made the cotton candy cheesecake happen after a brief moment of thinking it wasn’t in the cards. She was also very knowledgeable of the offerings, quick with the delivery, and EXTREMELY PERSONABLE! Thank you for helping to make the night. It goes without saying that the opening set and main show were…. AMAZING!!Hope to see the duo again and CAN’T wait to see my next show atThe Fillmore!!

Recently attended Boney James a super smooth jazz artist. He lived up to his “GEAUX Boney” swagger. The facility is a nice seating for a concert. The sound engineer(s) were GARBAGE!!! The bass was annoyingly loud and not fitting for a premiere “smooth jazz” artist. This was not an outdoor concert ! I experienced much better audio mixing at an outdoor festival (Seabreeze). It makes me carefully consider whether it is worth another road trip and hotel for such a disappointing display of audio engineering expertise or in the case, the lack thereof! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

We went for the Drag Diva Brunch (which was very enjoyable). With that said, most of my review is focused on the venue. The tickets stated Doors 10:30am but there wasn’t an actual start time. We arrived shortly ahead of 10:30 and were directed upstairs to the waiting area. There are A LOT of stairs, so be prepared! An elevator is provided if needed. They let us in the actual space at 11am. I feel like the vagueness in the time is a money making tactic so guests will buy drinks at the bar in the waiting area. There’s a photo area with the Drag Diva Brunch Logo and the staff will take your picture (pretty cool). There was a good variety of food on the buffet but it all tasted meh! The actual show didn’t start until almost 12pm and ended around 2:30ish pm. 4 hours total at the Fillmore was way too long in my opinion. I can only hope that the other events are handled differently.

Acoustics are fantastic but the stage is pretty small which limits how creative artists can get. That being said, its still an excellent venue. The layout is very nicely set up with the merch tables first when you walk in but out of the way, one of 3 bars in the large entrance space, and super clean bathrooms with tons of stalls near the entrance to the main concert area. There is a large general admission/floor and some seating available. We had GA the first time, and the pictures here are from the view of the center seating, row D, seat 16 (ticket said row DD). The pictures arent great quality but other than being far, we had a completely clear view of the stage. The Fillmore also serves food and has a cool vibe with its unique decor.

Awesome venue for our conference event. Unfortunately, we had more people than were expected so it was a little packed. That wasnt their problem though. Bartenders were prepared for the work and super friendly all night. One of my favorite parts was the small lunge/club off the side of the first bar you come to. It gave that exclusive/speakeasy vibe that made it pretty unique. Only issue I saw was the stairs to enter the place. There was not a clear alternative to use an elevator or handicapped entrance. Not all on them, we could have just missed it!

Great venue to see a concert. The lines can get long out front, however, if you are over 21, you can get in through the entrance in Masquerades in the casino. Just go right inside, enter the casino and head to Masquerades. Theres hardly a line in there. The floor is small enough for you to be close to your favorite band. Be forewarned, that if the whole crowd starts to jump as they did at my last concert, the floor will shake. It didnt cave in though. Even from the far back youre no more than a hundred or so feet from the stage. Overall, one of my favorite places to see a concert. Highly recommend going here.

My husband and I visited The Filmore for the first time this weekend to see X Ambassadors and both of us left saying Where has this place been all my life?! The spirits and food where great. The venue itself is a perfect size for great acoustics and has the intimacy of a private concert, not a bad seat in the house. Two full size large bars flank the concert space and a third full size bar can be found in the foyer space, you shouldnt ever be left thirsty. I went here for a comedy performance. Entered the building, everyone was so nice and accommodating, we ended up at the upstairs bar, great bartenders and cocktails. A nice area to sit while waiting to go into the hall. When we entered the hall I was a bit shocked. The seating was a whole floor of white garden chairs, the kind at a cheap wedding. Ok, that’s not what I expected. We had bought expensive orchestra seats, 3rd row. We were at the end of the row, I knew this but I didn’t think 25% of the stage view would be obstructed. The seats were so close together, no elbow room and in the south people are wider than a garden chair. They were terribly uncomfortable to sit in for such a long time. I’ll never return to this venue. Such a waste, location is great and staff do an excellent job but a totally awful set-up.

The Fillmore is a legendary institution wrought by the godlike hands of Bill Graham. There was one in San Francisco and one in New York City. So when a venue bearing that legacy opened in New Orleans, I was interested.Well, this place is a worthy descendent. The spaces are wide so theres no feeling of claustrophobia. The staff are super helpful and competent. The sound system and light rig are essentially perfect. My first complaint is almost trivial except that its pretty important to me: no Coke. Pepsi. I reeeeeeeally dont like that.My second misgiving is the prepaid parking in the lot across the street. Super convenient to take care of that when youre buying tickets to your event, but the reservation is for 4 hours and frankly, I had to leave my show a little early because I wasnt into spending a single second negotiating with a lot attendant, tow truck driver or impound lot owner. I dont know for sure if thats a venue thing or a ticket vendor thing, but somebody needs to take ownership and fix it.Rounding up with those two rather minor demerits still leaves a 5 star experience. Im looking forward to seeing more shows there.Update: after consulting other fans of the concert I attended, I was assured that the show ended promptly, just in time to retrieve my car from paid parking and get on with my life. So the time pressure anxiety was entirely my own responsibility. Good job, everybody!

Ok, first let me state that the venue is definitely great. It’s open, spacious but not overwhelmingly big and probably a great place to see a music show. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there for a music show. I was there for a comedy show.I wish I could’ve taken pictures of how horrible the seating was. My seats were in the “orchestra” row c, three rows from the stage. Paid a premium for them. Obviously. The seats were tiny white plastic (think wedding/event) folding chairs. And when I say tiny, I mean, almost child sized. There’s more room on a Spirit Air seat than these. We were all cramped together, shoulder overlapping shoulder. For almost $300 a ticket I definitely expected something a bit more comfy. Totally disappointed. Oh and definitely pre game before you go, because $18 for a large beer is egregious. So, in short, probably a great place to see a music show, a horrible place to see anything with “orchestra” seating.

Please do no buy any advanced or pre show tickets in their lounge. It’s a total scam and everyone will act confused when you ask questions or raise concerns. I bought pre show tickets to Fleet Foxes back in June that promised a pre show from a band or another musical act in their stupid lounge, but most importantly early entry to the venue. It was even confirmed via email by the manager that this would give me early entry to the show. I waited in line in the “VIP line” which was separate from the GA line for an hour. I kept asking when they’d let me and the other VIP guests in and everyone always seemed confused by my question. I lost it when I was allowed in ALONGSIDE the rest of the GA. I spent around an additional $100 for this “VIP pre show” access and 1. There was no pre show at the lounge (which is what the ticket said would happen) and 2. They didn’t honor my early entrance. When I complained to the ticket office they acted like I was crazy for being upset and kept making it seem like it would make it ok if I still got to the front of the pit. That’s wasn’t the issue, the issue is that I paid extra money for perks they said I would have and didn’t get. I was told I would be given a refund and months later NOTHING. No refund. they gave a me tote bag and thought that would make me forget about this issue. My sister also paid extra money for “exclusive merch” and later realized it was more expensively priced (the ticket) merch that was being sold at the merch table anyway. I will forever be sour with this venue and curse them in Spanish.

The venue is beautiful. Staff is friendly but the We had a bad experience with one of the security guards. My husband brought a pocket knife and forgot about it until we were getting checked and the guy told him to put it somewhere and he could come back and get it after the show. We walk in and my husband is bummed out about his knife so we decide to go back for it and put it in the hotel so he doesn’t loose it cause it was worth $100. When we go back to tell the guy we are just going to take it to the hotel the guy says yeah no problem and takes it out of HIS pocket. He planned on STEALING my husbands knife. Good thing we decided to go back for it.

It is a very nice concert venue. The stage sound was excellent and the room lent itself to the atmosphere very well. One thing that stuck me and definitely put this place over the top was the staff walking around and handing out cups of cold water. May other places would have just used the heat as a way to sell water but they were just passing it out. It was a nice touch on top of an excellent concert. Ill definitely be adding The Fillmore to my list of ticket searches from now on.

I came in with high expectations given that it’s a brand new venue.Overall it’s a huge miss. The layout (for a sold out show) is awful. You need at least 500 less people for it to work. Otherwise it’s a giant clusterF for a sold out crowd trying to get back and forth from bath rooms and bars.Sound isn’t bad.But you’d think a brand new venue in New Orleans would have substantial air flow. No air. Whatsoever. Was a steam room. In a post Covid world I can’t believe a venue wouldn’t have an air system that accommodates a space.Bathrooms? Only one in the entire venue. One. And 80% of the sinks don’t work.Bartenders were hit or miss.Overall very disappointed with our experience to the point where I don’t think I’ll be back.Attend a show at your own peril.

The venue is beautiful, sound was great, views were great. 2 things that need improvement: restrooms need to be stocked. At the beginning of the show, no toilet paper (or seat covers) and soap missing from many of the dispensers in both mens and womens rooms. Again, this was not an end of show problem, just a miss. The other thing that needs to be addressed: you should not have to leave your credit card/ID with the bartenders. Most bars these days swipe your card and give it back. Closeouts at the end of a show would go much smoother if you only had to sign a receipt.

We drove from Mobile,AL to New Orleans on Valentines Day and saw ELLE KING and it was an absolutely AMAZING show. She is one my favorite and she did NOT disappoint. THE RED CLAY STRAYS, a band from back home in Mobile, AL opened up for her and I cannot say enough good things about those guys. They have so much talent between them and their singer, Brandon, a tall (hes 69ft!), dark and handsome fella with a voice that sounds like it comes straight from his soul that can make any girl swoon and all the other guys in the band were equally awesome and we were super lucky to get to experience seeing them opening for the one and only AMAZING ELLE-freakin-KING at the gorgeous FILLMORE NEW ORLEANS. The FILLMORE is a beautiful venue that offers the concert experience in a more intimate setting with amazing giant chandeliers to set a great mood, the choice to stand close to the stage or be seated at tables with servers to bring you cocktails and/or food if you like. And its a bonus that it is also connected to Harrahs Casino and Hotel so you can gamble and get a great hotel room all on the same property. Great experience at a super classy place! We will be back very soon!! Thank you FILLMORE NEW ORLEANS!!❤❤❤

I am not a fan of live venues, so having to walk up so many stairs and doorways just to get to a seat kind of took me by surprise. Unfortunately the chairs are not at all comfortable so after about 40 minutes I found myself wanting to get up and move around just to restore circulation to my legs. Sound wasnt great nor was it awful, and if you did not have a visual monitor magnifying what was going on on stage, you may find yourself seated quite far into the back. I think the focus here is on the multiple bars where they make their extra money.

Went here for the first time last week, and loved the experience. Its a good size for acts too big for the smaller venues in town, but not big enough to justify Smoothie King Center or the Superdome.Very professional, with lots of attentive staff. Ordered a cheeseburger, and it was restaurant quality and served fast. Beer selection was okay. Ive seen complaints about prices, but Ive paid far more for far worse at larger venues.Acoustics were good. Felt a little like a school gymnasium with the long floor with seating towards the back. Which leads to the one warning I would give - the seats cost more, and unless youre determined to have somewhere to sit and dont care if youre away from the stage, dont bother. I was right near the stage, and I know that several people around me had paid for seats, only to abandon them and come to the floor for a better view. Just be aware of what youre getting and youll be satisfied.

Its almost too big for smaller acts. Regardless its made for moving lots of people in and out. Food options were barely noticeable but we got a decent bar burger and hung out in the lounge. The main floor was huge and the seating areas were NOT in a great location. VIP seats arent worth it. But the main floor is good for large groups, until they start dancing. The entire floor was bouncing during the whole event and if you are shorter than 6 foot theres no reason to go. The stage isnt high enough to compensate for the long sponge floor between the sound board and the stage. No photos cuz it was a secure event. If you love the band youll love the experience. The seating did not seem to be handicapped accessible either. One queen kept going up the stairs and rode the rails back to the bottom and that was hilarious. Fun was had by all. Card Only due to Covid. Ive been burned using my card at clubs/bars/events so I do cash. Ultimately, the situation was manageable as they did have option to put cash on a prepaid card for use at the bar. However, had this been made known ahead of time- the bartender wouldnt have gotten such a dirty look and my drink wouldnt have been sitting on the bar diluting while I waited in line for a card to use. Other than that and the fact that the concert headliner performed for only 40min (which isnt the fault of Fillmore), it was a nice time.

There are also people who will walk the aisle with carts offering limited concessions, which was a bit unexpected.Just be aware that if you are going for an event like a comedy show, the orchestra area is filled with what are really basic unpadded plastic folding chairs. Theyre all level with one another, so if you are a short person you may have some challenges in seeing the stage. You will be better served spending a little extra for the gallery seats.Really nice, new addition of an event space to the city.
