This type of bars is a dying breed sadly in NYC. The bespoke divey bars once plentifully are gradually disappearing to make way for predictably vanilla bars where millennial all stand around. I like my dark, eclectic bar scene that play songs you can groove remixed songs. This is just a casual fun bar. The drinks are okay and priced similar to anywhere else in the city. They aren’t strong and aren’t weak. It can get crowded on weekends and during week is just locals from the neighborhood having a drink or two or three.
Basically an empty cement room with a bit of decoration, a couple TV monitors, and a bar. The crowd is VERY young, so personally its not where I go to look for a man. But if youre bored and want a reasonably-priced drink, this place can be fun.
This is a great bar BUT whoever is running it is an IDIOT. 50%of the time they are OUT of Johnny Walker Black. They order two bottles at a time and as they are being consumed, no one it appears, has the wherewithal to order more! DUH!!!! So they WAIT till someone complains , then order it , and it takes about s week after that. This goes on and on. Its a terrific bar with good music but the ineptitude is astounding. Its not as if they dont carry it - so there is no excuse.Thry have a basement - like hello you idiots! Order a case!!! It doesnt go bad!!!!
A pretty fun dive bar. Toilets were not the best state, but drinks were cheap - a PBR and a shot for $8
Great grungy east village gay hotspot. Weekday nights they blast old school music. Always a fun alternative crowd.
Great experience, dancers all very well endowed.
Its a great bar for a drink with friends
One of my faves in NYC. Always stop in when in town!
Went with friends and had a good time.
Weird.
