Got a couple’s massage there with my husband the day after our wedding weekend, and it was so incredibly relaxing. They greeted us with champagne, took a sweet Polaroid of us, and made us feel immediately at ease. The massage was simple and lovely. They’ve created a quiet oasis in the middle of the city’s chaos, and I’d love to go back!

I went in for a relaxation massage with a relatively last-minute appointment. Upon arrival, I was offered something to drink, and I went with water.The room was very clean and the temperature was perfect. The massage itself was very relaxing and the therapist also provided some much needed relief to my stubborn shoulder knots.If it wasnt so pricey, I would have gone with a 90 min massage instead.

If you’re wondering if this place is worth the high prices, it definitely is! I come here every other month or so for a hot stone combination massage and every single masseuse here has done a great job.

I have been here for our anniversary. They told me that they will have appetizer for us and champagne .Their appetizers weren’t fresh so we did not eat. Place is overpriced and if we pay this kind of money we deserve fresh things. Their massages was good but front desk worker was asking more tip in front of my husband . His attitude was terrible. I already give my tip and he did not like my tip and ask over and over again. Before asking tip maybe you should check your appetizers .

Highly recommend this location! Ambiance, service, and massage were fantastic! From the moment you walk in, you can immediately tell it is going to be a positive experience. Charles was my masseuse and they were responsive to my pressure requests and just left me so relaxed and rejuvenated. Exactly what I needed!

This place was clean, spacious, and elegant. This place and staff are very welcoming and have a relaxed vibe. Before the massage, they gave us champagne, green tea, and water. Then, took a Polaroid picture of me and my fiancé. Best experience I’ve ever had that massage spot. The massage was the best I’ve had as well. They took note of my problem areas and made sure they were applying the right amount of pressure. We walked away feeling weightless. We will definitely be back!

I wish I could give 10 stars for Summer and the staff at Grand Central Bodywork. Two weeks prior, I had fallen on my right side and strained my R trapezius muscle that I strained again last week. I tried other massages, topical treatments, theragun and saunas with minimal improvement. I decided to try GCB and was so pleasantly surprised to meet and receive treatment from Summer.I could tell from the moment she was assessing my body that she was experienced and professional.I could go on and on about every single detail, but I wont. In short, she fixed me. Her magical healing hands focused on my problem area. And i now have full range of motion without pain! Im also usually incredibly ticklish, but she was able to work out the concrete that are the knots on my back and shoulders without me twitching and squealing. Im coming back as soon as I can. And bringing all my friends. 🥰

I could not recommend Grand Central Bodywork more. The ambiance was great and the massage is incredible. You let them know what areas you want focus on and how much pressure you’d like. It was exactly what I wanted and I feel replenished and rejuvenated. I will definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a massage, go here you won’t regret it!

Very easy to find & helpful doorman upon entrance. We were greeted kindly with slippers, water, tea & chocolates. The massage was amazing. We did 60 minutes deep tissue & my girl got deep. She really knew how to position my joints to elicit the right pull on my muscles. I was impressed. I do think it should be warmer in the massage rooms. Other than that, I would return.

Everything was lovely until I noticed my masseuse was texting while giving me my massage. I sensed fluctuations in pressure, initially firm and then unexpectedly gentle. When I requested more pressure, the application was uneven and inconsistent. During the front body massage, I noticed the therapist placing her phone on me to read and respond to a text with one hand while continuing the massage with the other. Since I had brought my cousin as a guest and we were in the same room, I chose not to address the issue, not wanting to disrupt her experience. However, it was evident that the therapist noticed my awareness, as she ceased the texting behavior. I hope that in future visits, I wont be paired with the same therapist. Its regrettable because the rest of the staff worked diligently to create a positive experience, and the actions of one individual can significantly impact it.

Went earlier today after ingesting some of the devils lettuce. What an amazing and therapeutic experience!! They accepted me no problem despite me booking my appointment less than 30 minutes prior (They even started my session a bit early!). Take note of the address because the facility name is not visible from the street and you need to enter an elevator to get in.For $80 (not including tax and my tip), I got the Thai Combination Massage. Let me tell you: it was fantastic! The masseuse applied just the right amount of pressure all over my body while kneading my muscles, stretching out my joints, and even rubbing hot oil on me! Combined with the lettuce, this experience became EXTREMELY pleasurable and relaxing, to the point where I was imagining myself in various meditative and enlightening places/situations. The music playing also helped make the experience feel complete.5 stars. I hope I get to go again!Jan 2024 EDIT: Came back here yesterday (this time with a more clear head) and had a wonderful experience once again!! I got the 30-minute Thai massage this time around and it was amazing. I especially loved how my massage therapist really stretched out my limbs! Ill be back!!

First time I’ve ever had a massage, and it was absolutely worth it. Beautiful ambience, incredibly relaxing, they absolutely know what they’re doing and they relieved a lot of my muscle soreness. I did the Thai combo for 60 minutes, $140, and felt so refreshed and rejuvenated afterward.

Had my first deep tissue massage at Grand Central Bodyworks and what a great experience it was. I had the utmost care in a relaxing environment and was treated like royalty. My masseuse Yuki was a pleasure to deal with. She always asked if there was too much pressure applied and if I felt uncomfortable. I cant wait for my next visit as my body felt amazing after my massage. Highly recommend and you wont regret it.

My back was so tight and tense I could barely cross my right arm across my chest. I had a two hour massage here and felt like a new (whole) person afterwards. The atmosphere was also lovely. Was our first time coming here after seeing strong reviews. We had the couples massage, in which I requested a relaxing massage and my girlfriend (with bad back pain) had asked for a deep tissue massage. They completely switched our massages and I ended up with a painful experience I did not want while my girlfriend ended up with the same back pain she walked in with, even after asking to increase the pressure of the massage midway through.We asked for a refund or future credit given the unpleasant experience but were only offered a 20% off coupon for the next massage. Given our experience and the lackluster response, needless to say, there will be no next time.

So cute and cozy! The staff is welcoming and friendly. The couples massage for my husband and I was very romantic and relaxing. We had a conversation with each masseuse beforehand to decide which kind of massage is best - we both ended up choosing the Thai massage with stretching. Teddy and Tina were absolutely incredible - very intuitive and always attentive when it came to the amount of pressure. Would go back in a second and would recommend to anyone that’s looking for a great “no frills” massage.

I stumbled upon this gem and am so glad that I did! All of the staff were absolutely lovely. The ambience of the space was so relaxing. Jay, the masseuse was phenomenal. Prior to the massage I was experiencing a bit of neck and upper back pain. He did an excellent job focusing on the areas of discomfort, and overall just provided one of the best massages Ive had! I would definitely recommend this spot, and will be returning for sure :)

Didnt particularly care for my masseuse. I have really limited range of motion in my joints and she thought I was resisting her. Im sure she was nice, but its not so great paying so much $$$ and being yelled at constantly to relax or being scolded. Did not find it relaxing, but boy were my muscles less sore and were my joints more mobile the next week.

Grand central is a 12/10. Their service is always top notch and their massages are AMAZING! I drive here every year, 3hrs away, from MD and always leave beyond satisfied. Definitely recommend booking for Valentines Day, it’s always set up according to theme with mimosas and treats.

Booked my husband a deep tissue massage as a birthday gift and to help him recover from a half marathon. He said it was the strongest and best deep tissue massage he’s ever had! Lots of Thai techniques for loosening up stubborn muscles. He’s a major fan and wants to go back every week. Highly recommend!

I took my girlfriend here on her birthday for the couples massage without really knowing what to expect and was completely blown away by the experience!We were welcomed with champagne, chocolates, and a boatload of other little surprises which really make you feel special. From booking, the man I spoke with was very kind and even flexible when I called to push the reservation back a half hour due to traffic. I often leave massages feeling like many parts of my body were missed. They really focused a lot on the arms and legs which was great for me. Will absolutely return!

Relaxing, comfortable and very professional.Had a sore ankle from a recent soccer game and thought of giving the sports massage option a go before visiting a physio or doc.Worked perfectly and I do feel a lot better ~90% efficient movement after the session.Should now be a quick recovery for the next game :)P.S - Having tried a few chiropractic sessions and also other a few high end Clinics in Manhattan.Would definitely recommend the sports session for recovering athletes.

Couples massage rooms are all decked out! They take your picture at the start which is a cute touch for a date or special occasion. Balloons line the ceiling and they have champagne for you. Staff was a bit chatty outside of the room and during the massage. Room was on the cooler side. Massage itself was average.

My girlfriend and I got the 60 minute couples massage with THAI combination… Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! My girlfriend happens to be a massage therapist herself and owns her own multi-therapist business and this was by far the best massage either one of us have received anywhere! I have been getting massages from Grand Central Bodywork for a while now and they have never disappointed with their deep tissue massage. Always the right pressure coupled with stretches leave me feeling well recovered. The new location is very beautifully setup with a warm reception area and very clean and elegant massage rooms providing the comfortable atmosphere befitting a perfect massage mindset.

This is the best massage ever after a 90 mins. The staff really know how to take those knots out of your back with a firm but not painful technique. The room was cozy and smell was good. Everything was outstanding. Love this place. Highly recommend.

OMG....! I just got the best Thai combination massage from here!!!! When I first walked in I thought it was a hotel because everything looked wonderful all the decorations were beautiful and I loved my treatment room. I don’t think I could find this atmosphere like this in Manhattan for this price ever. If you guys don’t believe me you have to come experience it by yourself. Highly recommend

Slightly below average experience. They did have a nice setup in the lobby with balloons and took a polaroid for us to keep and candy for Valentines Day. However, the package we purchased advertised free champagne service, but really just included 1 mimosa while we waited for the massage.They took us back to the room 5 minutes late (despite us arriving 15 mins early) and then the massage ended 5-10 minute early, so we did not get the full 60 mins that we paid for.We did not have to complete any type of form or waiver indicating places of the body to focus on or avoid bc of injury. Ive had many massages and have always had to fill some type of paperwork out beforehand. The massage itself was okay. We opted for a deep tissue, all of the focus was on the back with minimal focus on arms and legs - it was more just stretching the limbs.I also sent in gift cards to use beforehand so that I wouldnt need to worry about the processing. They had not processed or applied them to my appointment beforehand so I had to wait ~15 minutes while they called someone else to figure out how to process them. Overall, I would not go back.

After my massage was done.i was so happy and feel good.That night I slept like a baby, but was sore a little bit the next day, which is supposed to happen and feel very good.The pain went away after a day or two and I felt awesome.Love it!!

My boyfriend and I went to Grand Central Bodyworks Chelsea location for a hot stone combination therapy couples massage. The staff were all very welcoming and offered us water or green tea along with slippers upoon arrival. We both had a few minutes to decompress in our massage room with complementary champaign and chocolates before our massage began.Both of our masseusers asked about any trouble areas and the amount of pressure we prefer prior to starting. It was a great combination of deep tissue/hot stone and Thai massage. We both left feeling much lighter and less tense physically. Overall a great experience!

Great service - got a couples massage which included a full body massage, a Champaign drink, some chocolates and a cute Polaroid photo before the massage. Everyone was very courteous and did a great job on the massage. We felt super relaxed. Thank you!
