Its a very simple place, but the massage was absolutely one of the best Ive ever had (and I had hundreds all around the world). If I remember well, it was a girl called Melanie, she had extremely strong&skilled hands. Worked for a long time on all my problematic areas & knots on my back. I left there after 1hr feeling like a new person ♡ Thank you, definitely will be back! (I had massage in downstairs area which seemed much more private than the ones on the ground level).

Excellent massage. I got 60 min deep tissue and it was one of the best massages I’ve gotten so far. Would definitely recommend and I will be coming back.

Hands down some of the best massages Ive had in my life! Ive been to many spas all around the world and this place is a simple little nook but wow amazing massages. Ive had multiple masseuses when Ive gone over the years and I never left disappointed. Whenever Im in NYC I always make sure I go here at least once. I hope to be back soon.

I had such a relaxing 90min massage here! I don’t really do massages often since it gets really painful at times and I am sore for days after. Aaron was my masseuse and he applied the perfect amount of pressure to help relieve my neck pain. I arrived 30 minutes before my appt time and they were able to get me in right away. Definitely recommend!

So if you like laying below a beach towel with your face on top of 2 bounty paper towels with loud bass music and thumping around for one hour as your massage - this is the place for you. Im usually loyal to my masseuse at Temple spa, but I thought maybe Id save some money and try something new, but I would really question what you think is going to be worth $80-90 as opposed to maybe, $100-120 at a spa with more modern facilities, quieter environment, and/or better masseuses. My masseuse seemed to just be rubbing her hands on my body, lots of elbows and forearms (which is just a personal preference). I got a discount through classpass so it was just about $50 with tip, but with hindsight I would have stuck with my old masseuse and spent the classpass credits elsewhere. What I also felt was bad form was saying theres a $10 for tip. While I always tipped 20-25% to my usual masseuse, I dont think its the best form for a shop owner to say that tip is required.

One of the best massage I ever had for less than half the price of the place I usually go to. Doesn’t look the best and the setup isn’t ideal but price and massage definitely made up for it. I highly recommend.

Yesterday I had a combination treatment.Unfortunately very poor service and customer friendliness.An all-in price was clearly agreed in advance and already paid. After the massage you were obliged to leave a big tip for the masseuse! There is no room for discussion because the person behind the counter dismissed it with, you must have misunderstood, my colleague does not speak English well.After taking the $10 tip that I didnt even want to give if it was forced on you. The door was soon closed and you were allowed to sort it out.I believe that the staff there are being exploited. The woman in question indicated that the tip would be her salaryI feel bad for the employees.In addition, it is not a deep tissue massage, but a Thai massage!I wont be coming back here again.Regards, Priscilla

Snowflakes is my favorite massage place -- anywhere! Ive been going here for over 5 years and they never cease to fix me up! Their massage is super intense and thorough... Perfect for athletes or people struggling with intense muscle tension. Cant recommend them enough!

I don’t understand why anyone would give this place any less than a 5-star review. Incredible massage that’s worth every penny! Hands down the best massage in all of USA - and I’ve been to countless massages all over the world. Fantastic deep tissue massage with accurate focus on problem areas right from the get go in the very first minute! It keeps getting better as the minutes go by. Do yourself a favor and give yourself a treat of a lifetime! Ignore the negative reviews because I had the experience of a lifetime here.

After 5 days of trekking NY streets this fixed me in ways I didnt even know I was broken. I think this is one of the best massages of my life.

I am giving them 2 stars bc I have gone to them a couple of times and earlier massages were pretty good. However, later they were just weird. One time, I made a booking for a massage and they canceled it 3 minutes before and I had already gotten there and told me I should come back later, like what? Who does that. The last time I went here, I had to wait a bit and in the middle of my massage they made me change my rooms and I had to ask the masseuse to close the curtain. For an experience like this, I wouldn’t have tipped at all bc it was so rushed and not enjoyable. But I decided to tip 15% on a $55 which was $8.50 and the woman was rude and said minimum $10 tip. Again, I was like what? I am not required to give a tip and I certainly will not be bullied into tipping more by someone who did not provide the quality of service i was paying for and and was being rude.

I didn’t expect this service at all! The massage is one of the best massage I ever had in my life . This place isn’t swanky but 55 for an hour is cheapest massages I ever had and much more better than almost 99% of the massages shop in Manhattan. I was in so much pain in my upper back, that I decided to ignore the bad reviews from this spa that is near my house and went there. Adam the masseuse that took care of me is super skilled and released all the tension points on my back. Will go back!

Affordable and REALLY good!! I like deep pressure and the woman who worked on me was incredible. My back had a million knots and I walked out pain free.

Best whole body massage at Snowflakes Spa - do not pay attention to anyone who scored this place so lowly, as they really do not know what they are talking about and are just being haters.Ask for Ms Lee Lee - she is an expert and will literally erase all your aches and tensions away.

I had really tired feet and they did an incredible job. I got the combination massage and highly recommend it. It included full body massage including back, neck, head, feet, legs and hot stones on your back for 90 minutes. Allen was great, he did a fantastic job. I will definitely be back.

Madeline Polanco must’ve had the guy that worked on me today. He wasn’t interested in providing therapy but had the attitude of getting the session over with. No energy, no strength no skill and no enthusiasm. If you want to feel better after the massage don’t expect much.I texted Management to provide a name of their best masseuse so I could give them another chance but they haven’t bothered to respond so here’s my review.I get massages all the time so I can tell you it was a huge disappointment.

Great experience. As you’ll see in other reviews. This is no frill massage/spa. Think 2 to 3 star facility with 5-star massage. And, if you ever get massages elsewhere, you’ll know you cannot beat the value. So please don’t be cheap on the tip. I see the only negative reviews are about people who were tipping $10 on $50 massage. Please recognize the value of the service and tip like you would when you otherwise pay a lot more for a massage. I’ll be back on my next visit to NYC. Nadi (sp?) was awesome. I asked for deep tissue and she delivered. Wish I could find a place like this in Dallas.

Wow Im so glad I read your reviews and those in my neighborhood fb group. That was the best $80 Ive spent on a massage in a long time. I had Dani and she was so good. Im marathon training and this was exactly what my tired body needed. 90 mins of relaxation! Now if only I could sleep for the rest of the day !!

One of the best deep tissue massage spots! We have tried them the first time in july 2021 and once again in July 2022 and I have nothing, but amazing things to say about this place! Absolutely recommend to anyone who is suffering from tensed muscles! The massages are amazing! They really help relieve tension from sore muscles! Will definitely try each time I visit NY

My friend and I decided to stop in here on our 3rd day of a trip to NYC. After so much walking, our feet needed some TLC. This massage was so amazing... Its saving the rest of our trip, which may have ended with us doing a lot of sitting. But now we feel great. I also had done work done on my shoulders, and its amazing how much tension you can lose in 30 minutes. You should stop here if you need an emergency massage.

Visiting from Toronto, straight from our flight we wanted a massage asap! We googled and found this place and put all of our trust in the reviews. Upon arrival we were a little skeptical but after my amazing massage today, I will definitely be back. I did the combo which includes reflexology, hot stone and full body massage. My therapist took out knots I didn’t even know I had! I felt so good afterwards. Please give this place a chance, you won’t regret it!

Very good value. They dont have a website, and the space is a little cramp, but service is excellent, and ideal for quick massage. I had a foot massage (30min = $30), they dont have the big couch seats, but you basically lie on the massage bed and remove your shoes/socks. Masseuse was really skillful and tailored her strength to my comfort level. Its definitely not a luxury experience, but very good for the money.

This is hands down the best massage I have ever received. I requested Linda because I heard she was a magician, and she absolutely was. She is INCREDIBLY strong, y’all...do not underestimate how deep she can get into your muscles. I booked an hour Deep Tissue, but will only ever do hour and a half from here on out because it was truly otherworldly. They also have a punch card system for their loyal customers, and I am a sucker for a punchcard. I highly recommend Snowflake Spa, I left a new woman 👏🏼

I enjoyed my impromptu massage today. The place offers a great value for money. My masseuse lady was very good and I would have given the place full 5 stars if it were not for little cubicles only separated by hanging fabrics therefore a feeling of lack of privacy. Would I go again, though? Yes I would.

FANTASTIC PLACE. First, the price is literally unbeatable for the treatment. Its super affordable. Second, they really know what theyre doing and pay attention to your body. You can even tell them where youd like them to focus on.Something to note is that this is not a traditional pampering type spa, it looks a bit dark, but it is very clean and well maintained. They change the sheets and towels after each session, I know because when its busy, I see them change everything right when were done.Some advice: make an appointment by calling, this way you dont have to wait. Be sure to tip generously especially if you go often, theyll remember you. Enjoy!

Clean and good prices. Walk-ins welcome. The massage was excellent and I would go again. Reasons for 4 stars rather than 5: Rooms are very small with only a curtain separating everyone. It’s hard to get dressed without hitting the therapist working in the next cubicle. They will take a credit card, but charge extra for that. Note to self: bring cash next time.

I work across the street and decided to give this place a try. Dont expect fanciness or it being high end because this place is not it. It is simple, friendly, and the staff is amazing with their hands. I leave their half asleep, relaxed, and wanting to stay longer, but I go on my lunch hour. I have been going to this same location for 15 years. I highly recommend.

Very good experience!!! It’s right close to Times Square and very convenient. The rooms are small but that’s to be expected here. It was a clean and neat no frills massage place with amazing prices. I didn’t call ahead I just walked in and they got me in right away. The massage was just what I needed after several days of non stop walking around the city. Im addicted to this place and I have een going once a week since I discovered it. The massages are awesome and very reasonably priced. The one hour massage come with hot stones, which are just what I need to get my muscles to relax. The space is limited and there are just to curtains separate the beds, but people usually wisper and I havent felt uncomfortable.

This place is pretty great for the price. You could have the ladies walk on you, as others have mentioned, but also you could get traditional back rubs etc. 10$ for 10 mins to start but its $50 for an hour, and you can customize based on the areas you want them to focus on.the place is pretty no frills as others have mentioned, but they did help with hot towels to remove the oil after and my skin was left pretty soft. I will say that its not a massage to help with more focused problems, but it definitely helps to work out the larger muscle groups.

Massage was fine, nothing outstanding, but as i was checking out they completely guilted me into leaving a higher tip when the tip I left wasnt low in the first place. Not cool. i should be allowed to tip how i feel is appropriate. Never returning

Hidden gem for massage: prices are reasonable and they always manage to fix my dodgy shoulder. Spaces are tight and no-frills, but dimly lit and very relaxing. English can be limited, but the receptionist speaks perfect English and is super nice and helpful. I heart this place.

This place is great, very nice massage therapists. It is a bit weird though when the only thing that separates you and the next person getting the massage is a curtain. Was definitely amazing massage dont let the crazy entrance downstairs scare you off.

Having been a professional massage therapist for many years, I know a good massage from a bad one. As a cancer survivor with bad neuropathy, what a tremendous relief to be able to have superb and affordable back and foot massages. Snowflakes Spa has some gifted masseuses and masseurs. Maggie, Gina and Aiden are particularly fantastic. I love the new addition of the hot stones, so relaxing! The staff are also very courteous, considerate. The staffs English is limited, important to speak slowly, simply and clearly.

My go-to. It’s rough and ready but a great massage. If you’re in one of the rooms on the ground floor, not the basement, your masseuse will also walk on your back. Great price!

Went in and Was promised a full body massage. Ended up with nothing but a back massage and expecting to pay the fee and then also asked for “tips”. After service was done, they say it is not a full body massage. I would give this one a skip … rather save your money.

The owner recommends me the hot stone massage and it was a great experience. I would recommend trying this on cold days. The masseuse is professional and the place is easy to find. In short, it is worth a try if you live nearby.

Very easy to find. It was ok, the deep tissue was definitely what it was suppose to be. The rooms are not private they are separated by curtain (upstairs) the rooms below are separated by walls and partitions. They tell you what to tip and when it’s not enough, I found this a bit funny and disturbing because a tip is a tip!

Surprisingly great chinese hot stone massage from Gina. Ive had plenty of asian massage in Asia, Europe and the US and Gina is one of the best on the planet. Get 90 minutes. Cant speak for anyone but Gina, but the place was full and no one was talking which is a good sign. And thank goodness the therapists werent talking which can happen. Chinese flute music, hot stones, hot towels. Pure bliss in midtown Manhattan!

I am in from out of town and I highly recommend this place. I had pain in my legs and my back for two previous days before going to this place. Its a small place but they will rub every single pain out of your body. I tipped the lady that massage me fifty bucks and she earned every dime of it. Cant imagine a place being better than this one.

I went in for Microneedling & Microblading however to my surprise the massage therapy was off the charts amazing! Debra has a Beautiful heart and healing hands! I has a wonderful experience here. I felt like they really cared about how messed up my back was and really gave the bad areas extra attention and didnt rush their work at all. If I lived here Id come a couple times a month.

I had one of the worst massages . The lady was so harsh my spine hurt the next day as if a truck ran over me . I have had many massages and i know how it feels the next day . She definitely did not know where to press on my back and was pushing my spine so hard i had to tell her many times to be lighter .Sorry to say this , bit i dont think this is a safe reliable place
