BEST DIP MANICURE IN NYC! A hidden gem truly. I have been searching for a good salon in the city that does dip powder but have not loved any, so would travel to my hometown to get my nails done every month. Found Meicasa and I’m so happy. Best manicure I’ve had in a while - dip is thin and smooth, not thick and lumpy like other places. Beautiful mani and not ridiculously expensive. Recommend nail tech MeiLing 10/10!!!

Absolutely love this nail salon! Been going here for 2 years, and they always are so patient with me since I always take forever to pick a color and am very particular with my nails. Pics are from a couple days after I got them done, but the chrome still looks amazing, and I get dip powder every time. Def recommend this spot!

Consistency is key and they have that down.Very clean salon, and friendly nail technicians. Visited multiple times and always leave happy, with beautiful nails!! 💅🏻

Safe choice but not friendly. I explained that I wanted a manicure. Along the way, in came a client who made an appointment but there was no one available to start her pedicure. One of the staff promised her that she would be attended to as soon as possible but this woman could not wait. My manicure was rushed and when I asked them when they were going to paint my nails they argued that I only wanted to clean up my nails with no color. I could tell that the staff wanted to hurry up and attend to this client who was making a scene, so at that point I was finished. Frustrating experience and the manicure was not complete. The only reason I went was because it’s close to work.

Im usually not one to leave poor reviews, but I was definitely disappointed with the service I received at this nail salon.To start, they totally overbooked appointments with more people coming in than they could attend. With only 4 techs available (each already occupied), there were already 4 additional clients waiting to get their nails done (mind you, people were showing up *on time* to their appointments...)Because of this, my service ended up being rushed. My pedicure was only 15 minutes long, toenails were crooked, and the tech was rude. In addition, I requested a floral nail design for my gel manicure. Because the tech was rushing, she kept messing the design up and getting frustrated with me when I would ask her to fix it. For $145, I would expect that the design would be as close to what I asked for.Not to mention, the place was a mess! Super cluttered and stuff tossed all over the place. Also, most of the nail polishes were old. My *gel* nail polish lasted only 5 days until they started chipping. And no, I did not do anything in particular that would have caused the polish to chip this fast.As previous people have mentioned, the many positive reviews that you see here are likely because they give you free cuticle oil for leaving a review. But since they have to show proof of the review, of course they will write positive things.With all of this said, Id suggest spending your hard earned money elsewhere. There are plenty of other places in the city to get better service.

Went here for the first time, but would not return. The salon itself is clean, but service was not. Wanted to wind down after long day, but instead they rushed my Mani/Pedi (Pedi took less than 10 mins) and they were too rough on my nails. The nail tech was not friendly and easily got flustered when it was time to dry my nails. They also tricked me into paying extra for using quick dry polish, which other salons Ive been to did this for free. For the price I paid - without massages, I expected better.

Great service andfriendly staff. Regular manicure and pedicure came out perfectly and staff was very kind to fix my nail after i bumped it. Will come back!

The massage wheels on the pedicure chair did not move below my head enough for me to feel anything. The water was cold and barely filled until I asked for warm water. Not a lot of focus on the pedicure overall bad job.

The reviews for this place are good only because they give you a free cuticle oil if you post a good review. In reality, it’s very average manicure with bad customer experience.Some feedback for the staff:- As a customer, I care about experience just as much as about the manicure. I want to feel relaxed and welcome. When I got my manicure here, I felt stressed and wanted to get out as soon as possible- Main thing that made me feel uncomfortable is staff constantly talking to each other in Chinese while doing my nails. For all I know, you’re distracted (so I’m not getting the best service) and you might be discussing me (because you were clearly discussing another client)- The space is not cozy - lights are harsh, the space is cluttered, and floor is not clean

Sasa is the best! She does a beautiful job and is patient and kind. My manicure lasts 1 month and I have been able to grow my nails so long!

Don’t go here for gel removal. Left my nails very thin and sensitive to the touch. Also felt like they rushed the process when new customers came in.The other reviews are mostly good so I’m sure they’re great at other things, but just not gel removal.

SNS GEL DIP POWDER.I freaking loved this nail work.I looked into every nail salon around flat iron building area but the nail work was horrible.That’s when I came across with this place & the cute review pictures.These are my natural nails with SNS gel with color no. 334 out of 5 stars just because there is not much engagement with customers. I kinda sit there and put my headphones on. Hoping the results will be good.Overall, I love it! My nails look even and not wonky like other places reviews.Do I recommend it? YES!Would I’ll be back? HECK YES! I gotta come back to keep them looking good.

I don’t know why this place has such good reviews, this has been one of the worst nail places I’ve been to in NYC. My nail tech was very inexperienced, quiet & shaking the whole time. My nails chipped the next day. So disappointed

I definitely recommend Meicasa, especially for dip powder nails. This is the only salon I trust to do dip — my nails come out perfectly each time, and all of the nail techs are great.I tried several different salons closer to me and the dip would always come out pretty shockingly bad (too bumpy, uneven, and thick). I came here on a friend’s recommendation about a year and a half ago and have been loyal ever since. My nails are always perfectly shaped, so smooth and the dip is even and thinned out. I plan on coming here for years to come. Thank you Meicasa!

I have been coming to Mei Casa for years. Fabulous nail salon, highly recommend! Everyone is very professional.

Had an amazing time at Meicasa. I spent only 1.5 hrs there and got a new dip set with a design on each nail. It came out to be around $90 which isn’t bad at all! It still looks nice after almost two weeks.

Best nail place in the city! I always get dip here and it lasts 4-5 weeks without chipping. Will only go to this salon

Fantastic service. I walked in last minute and staff was super kind to accommodate me.

They left the acetone on my nails for 25 minutes to take the gel off my nails while doing someone else’s nails. Now my nails are very weak and keep breaking.

The worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had in nyc. Employees are rude. I got a pedicure, the water was ice cold and the woman wouldn’t change the temperature even when asked. I was supposed to also get a gel manicure but the woman demanded that she drill off my existing gel and would not allow soak off option. She was short in responses and very rude overall. Don’t recommend anyone come here.

The people who work at Meicasa are very nice and thorough. I was so happy to find this place, but my nails have not held up AT ALL since I got them done a week ago. I noticed the dip powder cracking even just one day out from getting them done, and now, one week later, 4 of them are fully damaged. I get dip all the time, and this is the worst they have ever held up. They spent over 1.5 hours on the manicure which is also longer than what I am used to, which I appreciated because of the diligence and level of detail involved, but now it feels like a waste of time since they are all breaking so soon after. It also is not inexpensive, so I am very disappointed in this experience.

Solid nail spa that has good, clean, facilities and reasonable prices. Jenny gives great chair massages. The services are good, but sometimes not thorough with cuticle trimming which makes the manicure not last as long. If you don’t have a “go to” person for mani pedis then you won’t be disappointed here, I’m still on the hunt for “the one”!

I was waiting to see how my SNS manicure held up to post a review. Ten days later my nails are still looking awesome and not lifting up or cracking anywhere. I am very impressed! Their staff is kind, professional, and really takes their time with their clients. I will definitely be returning.

Went in for a mani pedi. The girl took literally 12 minutes to do a pedicure, then another 10 to do the manicure. After I tipped she came back to ask me if I only tipped that much. For 45 dollars I would expect more than 22 minutes of work. Doing each step of a pedicure (scrub, callus removal, lotion, hot towel) for less than 1 minute each is not a good pedicure. If they want good tips they need to understand that they need to do a good job. Will not be returning.

AMAZING service, my go to spot always.

While the staff is very friendly, I would not come back to this salon. I understand that the salon is likely short staffed, I waited over 30 min and so did others, even with an appointment. It’s a tight place so having a lot of people waiting, especially during covid, can be an issue. Also, I can tell the nail technician was rushing to get my nails done to get to the next person and it’s the worst manicure i’ve ever gotten. Just really uneven (see picture). I expect more from a nail salon.

I work nearby and have tried at least 2 other nail salons in the area and this place tops them. I usually do my own nails because some places just don’t do a thorough job. So I saw the 5 stars and took a chance and went for a pedi. When I walked in they were very welcoming. The lady took her time, really made sure to get rid of the excess cuticles and file my nails. The massage was amazing and not rushed. They also gave me a quick massage while my toes dried. My new go to!

If you like dip powder nails, Meicasa is the best in the area. Excellent price, super efficient, and my nails are nice and thin—soo important for helping dip powder manicures last as long as possible!

Good experience for my dip nails. The staff listened to my wishes and gave me the nails I wanted. They are very caring ! However so expensive ! I’m not used to these prices : maybe it’s because it’s nyc ?

I got a regular gel mani and it was overall a great experience. My nail tech was careful and clean. Really happy with the results !

These ladies were so wonderful! I just walked in while my hubby and friend were eating and the ladies here were so nice! The salon was clean and even the customers were happy and positive 😊the attention to detail and service set this place apart and the prices were comparable to Hoboken! I would highly recommend this place!
