Lovely nail salon just not great products. Wish they only carried great quality of products instead of the tiers of nail polish + extra charge for different types. Their most basic nail polish should not start peeling on day 2.Maria who did my nails was great! And I enjoyed the atmosphere. I do recommend it just hoping all products are at least durable for a week.

I’ve been coming to QQ nails for over 6 months now and am very happy here! My go-to is Sarah. She is very skilled and gets the job done quick and I’m always leaving the salon happy. I’ve been getting the Japanese gel manicures here and they have been lasting me 5 weeks every time. No lifting and barely any chipping even after the end of the 5 weeks. Props to Sarah and everyone else at qq nails!

Really reasonable price for dip powder removal and standard gel manicure. They gave me a discount for it being my first time, so total came out to $53. Only complaint is my tech struggled to get the shape of my nails symmetrical, having cut the sides too steeply before filing. Also, for some reason the gel piled up weirdly on my thumbs? I’ve never had that before.

I have been going to QQ for several years and always have a great experience with their polish and nail techs. I have gotten dazzle dry, gel manicures, regular manicures and have recently started gel x and UV gel. Sarah specifically is great at gel extensions and is an artist with her designs!

Get the dazzle dry manicure! it’s $10 more than the regular manicure but it lasts much, much longer and dries so quickly!! they always take their time and the dazzle dry is two coats each of base, color, and top coat which really helps it last! when i’ve gotten the regular it usually chipped within a few days but the dazzle dry stays in perfect condition for almost two weeks! the technicians are kind, patient, and detailed. when i went in today they even took the time to help remove some nail glue and smooth the nails after a failed press on attempt and didn’t charge for it! i’ve tried many other nail spots, including ones with raves on tiktok, but this place and jinsoon in the wv are the only ones i go back to. qq deserves way more hype!

Jasmine was fantastic. They were accommodating, clean, efficient. My nails look amazinggg. I had x-gel done to my nails, with a chrome finish.

Before and after. Cut cuticles way too low, to the point where it is almost unsanitary and my nail beds were bleeding. Good price, but you get what you pay for. The quality is not there, unfortunately.

Sarah did an amazing job with my nails. I got French tips on my toes and Japanese gel on my fingers. If you want amazing nails make sure you come to this salon.

The manicure result is not professional at all, and the person who did the manicure over-filed the nails, making them extremely soft and fragile despite the gel application. I wont be going back.

QQ is the best! Every time I come in they are timely, efficient, and so kind. Jasmine is fantastic and consistently gives me a perfect manicure. Couldnt recommend more highly!

I love QQ! I’ve been coming here for many months and the staff is so friendly. My favorite is Jordan, although everyone does an awesome job overall! Jordan does a great job on my Gel X manicure and they always look perfect and last me for 3+ weeks.

Leo is my go-to at QQ Nails for my gel manicures and pedicures! He’s always so thorough and makes sure I’m happy with everything. The salon space and team are great too! My go-to on the UWS!

Great experience here. Walked in with no appointment on a Friday afternoon, got a gel manicure and a 15 minute massage with Lisa. The manicure looks great and the massage was exceptional - literally one of the best Ive ever had!! Also, the prices are so reasonable here. Ive paid $120 for the same service around the corner. Love this place!

I had the most amazing experience in December and then got let down in the new year. Wonderful manicures but the pedicure leaves much to be desired. There is no scrub or any kind of callus removal and your skin will be left dry. Not worth it.

Indu was fantastic! The whole spa has a peaceful atmosphere and the back massage in the gel manicure package was very thorough and relaxing. Tools were clean and they were able to accommodate us earlier than our appointments

It was a gel manicure that lasted 20 minutes because she didn’t do anything with my cuticles and barely massaged my hands. I could have done a better job at home

I’ve always had an amazing experience at QQ! I absolutely recommend stopping into one of their many locations. When I had an issue with my nails chipping they fixed it no questions asked. The customer service is exceptional!

Just came here last week and was taken right away without an appointment. Beautiful space, and my nails were done very well! I only wish we could’ve chatted a little, but there was a language barrier. My nail tech did a great job despite it, it’s been one week since I got them done and not a single chip (3rd photo is one week after). Will be coming back!

Like other reviewers, my manicures from this location barely make it past two days. I don’t come here regularly but I do when I am doing errands in the area. Yesterday, I got a dazzle dry polish and it’s already chipping and lifting from both ends despite paying extra for the special polish. The same thing happened with my prior manicure from this salon. I otherwise go to 64 Nail or Issa Nail and the dazzle dry lasts at least a full week if not longer.

Got my wedding nails done today and they are absolutely perfect. they were so helpful and accommodating. i love it here!

Sarah is amazing, perfect the shape every time and gives me exactly what I ask for! Clean and great experience, will always come back!

I had gel nail extensions done (by Kelly at the upper west side location) for my wedding and she did a phenomenal job!! Standard acrylics usually don’t last on me because I have naturally short mail beds but these have lasted and feel extremely secure. I will absolutely return in the future

Had dip nails done last week and within 4 days they were all chipping and cracking. I asked several times to have the dip thinned, but they were still thick when I left — definitely contributed to them all cracking. Made my thumb also bleed with the file.

My experience here was great! I made an appointment online an hour before I came in and was greeted by name when I arrived. I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen! New review 4/28/24This time 5 stars! After visiting for a pedicure 4 or 5 times, I posted a 3 star review based on my experience. The salon reached out to me and offered a free service for my troubles. So I gave them another chance. They did a great job! What a nice pedicure! So I have changed the review to 5 stars appropriately! Thank you so much QQ, your customer service is top notch and I really appreciate you being so accommodating!Old review:Ive been there 4 or 5 times for pedicures and they are mediocre at best. Maybe their high-end spa pedicures are better? Im not sure; but their regular pedicures are meh.I do have to say their staff is very friendly and accommodating; so thats a positive.

After the manicure my nails were the same as before, I didnt like it at all and since the gel wasnt applied to the end of my nails, they grew and looked like I had them done 1 month ago... (if you dont trust yourself, please dont do it)!

My new go to nail place. I always get dip on my natural nails and they come out perfectly shaped and last me 3+ weeks. Sarah did my wedding nails and they couldn’t have been more perfect.

Helen did an amazing job on my pedicure! She worked out some tight spots during my massage that made me melt in my chair. She was very accommodating and patient with my requests.

Terrible! The manager was ignorant when seating me and the nail tech sawed my pinky so bad when removing I went to urgent care to make sure I was okay.I came in for a gel removal, hardner paint and a manicure.They made me pay before it was through and it was so bad I have air bubbles!Don’t ever come here!I was treated poorly, and the other customers could not believe it.There was a walk-in who left after seeing my hands.Don’t ever come here.

I love this nail salon - it’s the only place I’ll get my nails done now. The nail displays are pretty and straightforward, not overwhelming & the service is top notch. Definitely recommend, especially Jasmine 💅🏽

I thought I would leave a great review as the job seemed great. I had a gel manicure and pedicure o a sunday and I left the salon happy. However, by monday my nails started to chip! How could that be if I did a gel manicure a day before? Well, I emailed the salon that day showing the pictures and NOBODY answered me. I asked for either for a refund or a new gel nail which seems fair as their product is horrible. I am still waiting for my reply. Besides the pictures I have a video of how easily the gel comes off.

My mother-in-law and I both had pedicures and massages. We both had wonderful experiences. Our nails look great, our massages were relaxing. The environment was relaxing and cozy.

Sarah did my nails perfectly exactly as I had shown her, can do such intricate nail art. Iris is also amazing I’ve had my nails done with her a bunch of times.

First photo is what I wanted the other is what I ended up with I went because I recently moved nearby and was looking for a place to do my nails I showed them pictures and they said they could do it I did gel pedicure with one extension on one single toe nail and acylic gel short set it took 2 hours and i was ready to leave the pedicure was the most basic pedicure I’ve ever gotten no callus removal my feet feel as dry as they were the day before and as for the nails well you can see yourself for what they did I was not expecting to walk out of there with a $209 bill I’m not a person to complain just won’t be going back and leaving this review so people know what to expect don’t think for what I receive it’s worth 200

Amazing job! So detail oriented!

Not a great experience. She was clearly rushing as I was her last appointment of the night and it shows. I went to get my nails done for a corporate holiday party where I asked for gel fill ins. She was aggressive constantly tugging at my hands. She did not compare the length of nails on each hand so the nails on my right hand are visibly shorter than on the left and the length on both hands is significantly shorter than what i asked for. The cherry on top is that in the middle of my service she asked me to pay rather than waiting until the nails were done.I would not recommend especially to anyone who has any sort of special event.

It was a very pleasant experience The staff were very patient to answer any question, introduce the specifics of each project, and recommend the most suitable products for me, and did not deliberately let me make the most expensive products, made me very relaxed!

Have been here a handful of times for regular pedicure and gel manicure and never leave disappointed. The hand and foot massage that’s included is usually just ok and it’s a bit on the pricey side (but similar to other spots in the neighborhood). I’ll continue to come here

Tina was excellent and I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment and requesting her! She offered to give me a 10 minute massage afterwards and it was well needed. Even just for 10 minutes, her massage skills were amazing! Will definitely go back for her.

Gel nails chipped in 3 days and when I went to touch it up they redid it with the wrong color twice. They gave me hard gel base coat without telling me so now my nails are ruined.

Got Gel X and wouldnt recommend. I do my own nails at home.Didnt cut my nails or prep cuticles correctly.Nails were not fit on well (gaps on edges) and not the same length after she cut them. I had to correct her multiple times and they were lifting on the side before she added the colored gel.The polish is uneven and you can see thru parts of them when I put my nails to the light.Very unhappy for the amount I spent. I would not recommend.

Had no range of color. i tried to show her a picture of what i wanted and she replied with “just look at the polishes and find it”. rude and not helpful at all.

My nails 4 hours after my manicure. The nail polish was of poor quality. She had to layer up and I ended up with this. I had to remove everything in the morning as it got worse.

I have been twice now, and both times received the best manicure. First time was a full dip set and second was gel ombré (with Sarah). The options for special finishes are endless and the attention to detail is amazing. I love this place and wish I was local.

Got a standard gel manicure here. At first, it seemed just average. But 2+ weeks later it is still holding up. I am pleased with the quality and will come back here.

Always wonderful place for mani/pedi. They even do a 5 min foot massage with basic pedicure that’s so nice. I also bring my 4 year old in for nails and they are always so sweet and patient with her.

Horrible horrible horrible. Lady made my nails short and ugly. When I told them the left me to wait for one hour. I desputed the charge.

The woman giving me a pedicure was completely careless and got oil all over both sides of my brand new silk pants. I asked her repeatedly to be careful. I really don’t understand why she would touch my pants with oil or allow the oil on my legs near the cuffs. I have oil stains all over the cuff and up the bottom hem on both sides.The receptionist offered me a free pedicure which I refused; I paid. What upset me was a complete lack of remorse for the carelessness. My brand new silk pants, not even 2 hours on, are now oil stained.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. I get powder manicure and pedicures (sometimes specialty pedicures, mostly regular ones).Definitely need to call or book online for an appt, it’s very hard to be seen as a walk-in as this place is very busy!

Super meticulous gel manicure that has lasted almost two weeks and going strong. Also did an excellent job removing my Apres gel extensions. I called and made a same day appointment easily. Very straightforward no frills salon with good prices, great to be your regular degular nail place. I’ll be back!

Indu is a skilled manicurist who took great care in giving me a beautiful mani/pedi.

I came in for a gel manicure and color change on my toes. The technician girl Kelly did not know how to apply the nail polish evenly. When I told her that she had missed a spot she added a third coat of nail polish which made the nail bulky and not even with the rest of the application. Note, she had already done two coats on my right so now three coats on the left?? Lazy work. She proceeded to catch an attitude when I asked her to redo the nail, talked about me in her language to others, and then stormed about looking for I don’t know what while tripping over herself. Anyway it was cringing to watch. Suffice it to say, I did not stick around for my gel manicure. I would not go to this place if it was the last place on earth. I’d suggest hiring competence and basic manners.

ROY is one the rudest nail techs I’ve ever experienced in my life. I had to repeat myself several times when talking to him. He pulled, jerked and yank my hands instead of speaking to me and telling me how to place my hands. Instead of speaking to me or asking some to translate he would just stare at me like I was supposed to guess what he was thinking. The owner was sitting next to him the whole time. If he needed to communicate something to me he could have done so through the manger. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and mistreated at a salon in my life. I’ll never come here again and they don’t not follow proper nail protocol. ROY skipped several steps while applying acrylic. I came here to relax, not be mishandled and mistreated. The manger tried his best to make me feel better but I still won’t be returning. Someone quitting cigarettes isn’t a good enough excuse to take your anger out on paying customers.

Love this place. Jasmine is the best. I have sensitive feet and she is very patient with me. Make an appointment cause they are busy. Especially on Friday Eve.

Came for a gel manicure and a pedicure, it was horrible. The person left my old color still on, rushed me, and didn’t take the time to clean/shape my nails. Please go somewhere else and give your business to other places in the area

I go to QQ Nails for all my manis and pedis. They always do an excellent job and are so welcoming! Definitely try them sometime!

First time at this location. I usually go to the salon on 23rd street, and I must say I regret it. The front desk lady wasn’t very welcoming; however, the nail tech was friendly, but unfortunately, my pedicure experience was awful. The tech was extremely aggressive while removing the gel. She even filed my skin a couple of times. The pedicure self looks horrendous, the polish is on my skin, and the detail is non-existent; this is the worst pedicure Ive ever had. This was a waste of money! Never coming to this location again!

Service had been okay the past two times I went here for a powder mani + pedi, but this last time it was terrible. I asked for a regular pedicure and the tech made me feel like I was a burden. She had me barely soak my feet in cold water (I told her it was cold so she then made it lukewarm). She didnt turn on the jets or put in any soap. Essentially just putting my feet in a bowl of cold water. Thats not what Im paying for! Then she didnt take off my previous powder properly with soaking them so she used the electric file on them the whole time. She wasnt mindful that it gets too hot and I had to keep pulling back my hands because it gets painful! She then rushed my powder mani so theyre misshapen and uneven. The powder is starting to crack now after two weeks when this type of mani usually lasts a month when done properly. Super disappointed. Also they kept changing the prices on me and were rude when I asked them to explain the breakdown this last time.

Manicure didn’t even last a weekend and pedicure barely lasted a week ☹️ I got my nails done for a wedding on Thursday and by Saturday they were chipped. Also only some clients got a quick neck massage while their nails were drying and others did not. Disappointed and will be going elsewhere next time

My mother was struggling with skin care but ever since she started facial treatments shes has been having perfect skin . I took her for her last appointment and the place was beautiful. Such a nice experience!

Came for a pedicure. Place is clean and I was able to get right in but was an extremely mediocre pedicure. They don’t do any callus removal and put wax on my heels which didn’t do anything. I am still getting wax off of my feet and now my heels look ridiculous. The 5 minute included “massage” was basically rubbing in lotion, not an actual massage. Will not return

Went on a Saturday without an appointment. They were nice enough to squeeze me in, however, the $47 (after tip) gel manicure was subpar. It was a man that did the manicure. Last time I was there, he seemed to just be supervising or working the front. I guess he filled in to do my manicure. The edges around my cuticles were messy and the clear coat was missing or just not well applied on certain nails. I felt bad to tell him because he was nice. Ended up paying $8 to have the polish removed elsewhere.

I have been going to QQ Nails on Columbus Ave for almost a year. The staff and technicians are friendly, and I always leave with my nails looking beautiful whether it’s a simple gel manicure or when I get UV gel extensions.

This place on UWS is blatantly racist from my experience. I tried going a few times and every single time Ive been refused service for some flimsy reason. Ended up using the more liberal nail salons further down UWS.

I wanted to treat my staff to a mani/pedi beauty day. What happened instead was a $125 upcharge because I was not there. I called to say I would not be there and gave my credit card. Little did I know that I was inviting fraudulent charges. I called and did not get any clear answers. I would not recommend at all. Predatory business practices

Typically like the powder manicures and pedicures but this time the staff member Maria made lots of mistakes, filed way too roughly to the point that the skin around my nails is red and raw, and told me my pedicure was dry and took away my foam sandals and gave me my shoes before I had a chance to check, effectively kicking me out. My pedicure is ruined and my fingernails hurt really badly. Avoid Maria.

Warning- Be Bery careful about communicating exactly what you are paying for, and insist. There is trickery where you ask for a service and then they say what you actually got is a lot more money. The English skills then disappear. You end up paying much more and then they are aggressive about tipping. I gave low tip because of price changes, then they spilled chemicals on my handbag “sorry accident”. Never QQ again.

Classy attendants. I had a manicure and pedicure. The outcome surpassed my expectations. That was pure class service and generally the atmosphere was pleasant.
