Space Ping Pong Sports Bar & Lounge Koreatown NYC

Came here for a birthday celebration with my boyfriend, it’s a nice mix of fun! Although there wasn’t much of a crowd we didn’t mind the great access to arcades, ping pong tables, drinks and especially amazing service from Toto our lovely bartender and Carlos our efficient server!

I went there with a lot of friends and coworkers and I was in the mood to drink. Thankfully our bartender Kevin took GREAT care of us. He knew what he was doing behind the bar and tried whatever drink he recommended us. I really enjoyed netscape, that was delicious. Id say Kevin is the best worker in KTown. Ive been to many different places but Kevin stood out from the rest. I even thought he was the owner of the place because of how professional he is. Thanks Kevin you are the best I will definitely be back.

A great bar selection and an even greater bartender. Wanting to try something new outside of the menu, I asked the bartender Kevin to freestyle something for me. Oh wow was I surprised. Definitely will be back for more. Thank you Kevin for the lovely drink and experience!

I really enjoyed that place. I didnt go to the floor where ping pong is because it was full, but it looks amazing. I cant wait to spend time with my friends over there...I went to the resto floor, first time in my life trying to have a Korean dish it was perfect...The music 🎶 🔥I will come again

This place definitely is a cool spot. Our server was super nice and super helpful as weve never been here before. The bartender was super dope also, I didnt get her name but she was so nice and super friendly and made my daughters 21st bday super special for us, she was kind and friendly. We rented 2 tables for 2hrs each for my daughters 21st bday. We all had a great time, the food was very good, service was definitely A+ and the atmosphere was also very cool. We called ahead and reserved 2 tables for 10 and had zero issues. Drinks were pricey but that to be expected when you go out anywhere, we came from jersey to NYC and didnt expect anything less. The cost of nightlife in NYC and Jersey are a little pricey doesnt really matter where you go. Overall we had a very nice time and id definitely go back again in my opinion. We found street parking which was very convenient but there are also parking garages in the area as well.

Wonderful place for corporate events. Nice atmosphere. We had two ping pong tournaments here for two years already. Toto was our host and she’s been so nice and amazing to us.

Really nice bar! had a drink here with my boyfriend and played ping pong for an hour for 60$. Drinks were really yummy and lots of options! Also played darts and basketball. Staff was really kind and even brought us two glasses of water :)really recommended!

We had so much fun playing ping pong. We got three tables to play for a couple hours and was very reasonably priced. The food and drink were great. Bartender Toto took great care of us all night!

Space ping pong was great, we were able to get in quickly without a reservation. Toto and Kevin took care of us and our drinks and we had a great time . Clean and groovy establishment and had a blast playing pong. Food package that came with our drinks was delicious.

Really great atmosphere. Bartenders are wonderful and excellent conversation. Lighting is great for the ping pong and overall experience was a 10/10. Even at an off-hour time. The bartender made sure we knew what her favorite drinks were and whats the best stuff on the menu was.Lighting and atmosphere was good, lots of black Lighting, but not overpowering.Would recommend to anyone who enjoys ping pong, good bartenders, and a good atmosphere for you and youre friends who want to have fun and still be able to carry conversation

A group of my friends came to vibe after work and we were blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the overall atmosphere of the space. Pan and Toto were taking care of us at the bar and they were super attentive! We had a great time and will definitely be coming back!

Toto makes the best drinks! If you’re in the midtown area, you gotta come here and get the lychee martinis!

Super fun! We only had an hour to play though as Fridays are busy. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food is standard delicious bar food - had pizza, crust could’ve been more well done, fries were good too. I think their Korean options are better, might try next time. The arcade games were also fun. Staff was really nice and attentive. Fun first date place.

Space is a great place for small and large groups. They have a ton of games and areas to hang out. The food and drinks are awesome and the service is outstanding. Highly recommend for happy hours, parties or whatever you’re looking for.

Front desk person was rude because I forgot my ID but had a photo of my passport and was willing to show bank statements and whatever else to prove my age. Lied saying he was the manager when I asked if I could speak with one, and I only knew that he lied because he asked why I needed to see a manager before saying that it was him. I tried to see if they would give me a wrist band or provide a stamp to prevent me from getting drinks at the bar because I don’t drink but they wouldn’t allow it. Half the people in my party (11 people) were let in without being checked ID which I mentioned and the front desk guy lied saying that the person at the front before wasn’t working there (it was 6:30 so the shift wouldn’t have ended 10 mins before). My other party members confirmed it was the same guy who was working the front desk that let them in without checking ID. There are definitely double standards here when it comes to large groups.I frequent this place often but unfortunately this was a bad experience. I was more disappointed that the employee kept lying more than denied entry.

My husband and I had a great time here! They have a bar, ping pong tables, arcade games and more. Great place for a date, gathering with friends.We ordered Pizza and it was amaziing!!!!Thank you to our server Carlos that made recommendations on the menu, he was very attentive with us and made our experience even better. If you visit this place ask for Carlos!

Super fun place for adults filled with arcade games, and the like. Great for date night, birthdays, or just a night out in the city with your family and/or friends. Fun ambiance. I definitely recommend it.

The front desk guy at the ping pong place didnt give us kind of respect, he kept staring us up and down and didnt seem he want to work. We kept talking nicely but he remained unprofessional as if he didnt accept us. He seemed to be kind of racist because the moment he saw us he seemed disgusted. I hope this changes its so inappropriate. I would not recommend this place to an animal.

If you want to have a bad experience and experience a horrible costumer service go to this place. We went here to have a fun time and ended up having an uncomfortable experience since the guy in the front desk as soon as we walk in started acting very arrogant and disrespectful like if you were not paying for being there. Any question that you asked him he was answering with such an anger, and zero polite. Plus they charged you q 20% tip at the beginning which doesn’t makes any sense because the costumer service just sucks. Definitely read the bad reviews before going here.

Fun spot to go out with friends and play ping-pong. They play Korean music, so be prepared to listen to K-pop while you’re there. It’s a fun time and the place is pretty spacious. If you get a ping pong table it’s about $50 for an hour and you can order drinks at the table by pressing the button on the side and they’ll bring it to you. They even have a tub filled with ping-pong balls in the middle of the room that you can take pictures in. They also have games that you can play like darts and a basketball hoop machine.I will say this spot was hard to fine as it’s located in a building with very little signage but overall, I will come back again. It was such a good time.

Its a terrible place. The guy at the front desk was very rude and totally disrespectful. They dont treat customers as human beings. Extremely do not recommend this place to visit, unless of course you are not a fan of being insulted to your face. My rating is 0. Spoiled mood and wasted time!

I parked my car far away from the bar and left the license inside. I presented the Costco card, digital version of ID, and look way over 21, but the front desk still did not let me in.No wonder you have almost no customers because you do not deserve any👍.I told you that I will leave a 1 star review, and you threatened to call the police? 😂 You think that will stop me leaving this review?

What a fun place!Its hidden gem in Ktown. Its like a little barcade so you can have fun even you don’t play a pingpong. Everything is so clean and brand new 🥺I had so much fun at the bar with my friends!Also, please make sure take a shot with Grace! She is very attentive and sweet. I love this place❤️Ps. nacho is on a point 👌🏻 so GOOD!

LOVE IT HERE! i keep coming back it’s so much fun. love the option of both regular ping pong and beer pong (which comes in a great holder so it doesn’t get messy). love how the ping pong balls are in baskets for you and get swept off the floor constantly so you never have to chase after them. love the service to the tables, the extra games in the back, and the bartenders i’ve talked to were really nice. it’s also a really great price, especially when you come with a group.for get togethers, it’s so worth it to come with a bigger group (~10-16) and get 2 tables, one regular and one beer pong and cycle rounds for an hour or two, especially since at one time, you can have 4 people playing at a table while the people waiting can hang by the tables and chairs that are placed by every ping pong table and eat or drink.i was also surprised to see vegan options for food, which was great!totally recommend this place to everyone (now and irl). super great for parties, dates, or really any get together.

I love this place— the vibe is always great. Even when it seems slow, the bartenders like Sauss (aka Kevin) and XT always make my night. This spot is perfect for whatever you need.

Visited this place this past weekend and was not happy with my experience. I ordered sliders and mozzarella sticks with a bottle of wine, along with a one hour ping pong game. I was charged $225. The food was, I hate to say disgusting. I definitely do not think this was worth the price at all. Personally do not recommend and I will never go back. The waiter was great but other than that never again.

Food is ABHORRENT the only thing edible here are the fries. the drinks taste like medicine and the service is TERRIBLE. i had to wait for the server to return for almost 30 minutes and when she did return she didn’t even have the items we requested. do not waste your time or money here because you are being robbed

7/13/23 UPDATETheir Marketing Director got in touch with me shortly after writing my initial review and made the situation right by refunding the 20% gratuity from my bill. He also clarified the table renting terms on the website for future customers. For this and the other mishaps, they offered me an hour at the tables and a round of shots for my next visit on the house.This place has been around for less than a year, so they are very attentive to customer satisfaction, which I greatly appreciate. I only wish this was the level of service I initially received at the lounge, but I am confident they will improve. If you do patronize the lounge and arent happy with the service, ask for the manager to remove the included tip and add your own tip. My advice- the business should remove the included 20% gratuity for parties under 6 people. If the service is good, you should trust that your customers will tip accordingly. I look forward to the next visit!7/11/23Absolutely shocked at how much of a rip off this place is. The experience was great fun but there are plenty of other places in the city like this I would go to first. To start, the $39 advertised price online (for off peak times) is ONLY for the 1st hour. Each half an hour after is $19.50 charged automatically over and over depending on how long you stay near the ping pong tables. Both beers brought over by the host were incorrect, and when we let them know and asked to replace one of the beers, they charged us for an additional drink, which I disputed only after the host went to the table to see if we had drank the first, incorrect drink, AND put up a fight before refunding it; ridiculous. To top it all off, after leaving the lounge, it became evident that they charged a 20% gratuity AUTOMATICALLY no matter the party size. Based on the service I did not want to tip that much and added a tip not knowing about their built in charge. Safe to say unless they make this situation right, I will not be returning.

The place was nice, really great atmosphere and a lot of fun. Cool concept and def worth checking out. Food was really good as well and it was helpful to have people help scoop up the balls as the night went on.We did an open bar package - wasn’t really worth the price imo considering everyone was only able to get about maybe 2 drinks tops for the duration we were there. There was one bartender working the bar and she seemed annoyed at us for ordering. Service was slow - understandably since there was one bartender. Front desk and some staff could be friendlier. Bathrooms could be brighter too. It was so dark in there and one of them was constantly flushing which was kinda freaky in the dark.

XT, Mary and Pan are wonderful and attentive as they make sure my friends and I are taken care of with our drinks/food whether we are at the bar or at a table. We came last night 11-04-23 to celebrate a friend’s birthday early and were treated as family. Will be back again as it’s always a wonderful night there whether we are drinking or enjoying playing at the tables or various arcade/board games there.

I wanted to love this place, but the truth is that their hospitality service is horrible.First, they cannot accommodate more than 8 people. You cannot call before hand to reserve because they simply do not pick up the phone. And they DO NOT have a limit in playing time, meaning that you wait for a table until the party that’s playing gets tired of playing and leaves.They told us because we we 10 people, we had to wait for another table and it had to be next to the one available AND the other 2 people, although only 4 people wanted to play, had to wait out of the playing area. The waiter literally said “I will monitor your faces!”We asked when will the other table be available, the guy said “when their done.” Very rude!The music was really good, the drinks were watered down and the service was terrible.

Not surprisingly, the gaming equipment focused on ping pong and they managed to fit in a large number of tables without it feeling claustrophobic. Still, I would have liked a few more options for the non ping pongers, in particular a few pool tables. I cant comment on the food other than it looked good but their bar was decently curated other than limited (no?) draft beer section. Overall, Space worked pretty well for our 100+ department outing even if the name is a tad misleading given that there isnt actually a ton of space. 🙂

Waited to use the elevator to be denied at the door because I didnt have ID on me. The elevator line situation needs to be fixed-- why arent people allowed to use the stairs?

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went with my friends we are all female and when we went we got a harrassed by a man trying to get us to leave and go to a party with him.... then he was trying to just get us to leave the place at the same time. After a while he did leave but when I notified the establishment after they said that he has been there before and has harrassed their bartenders before... so why would they let him back in!!! Ontop of that when I went to pay the bill THEY OVERCHARGED MY CARD!! when calculating the entire bill the price it was supposed to come out to (including tip and tax) was 211.20. But the receipt said it came out to 226.86! They are quietly scamming and adding to the price with no cause !UPDATE : the issue was taxes, which I understand but unprofessional as someone who keeps tracks of costs. I also dont believe this person slipped in .the place was EMPTY and all the staff was looking

This place is great for large groups. Theres tons of space, lots of fun activities (arcade games etc), and its very Instagram friendly. I do wish they had a bigger variety of drinks but what we did have was great.

This place has both a great atmosphere and the service is great. It is a great vibe for a weekend night with friends, and all of the deals are pretty solid. Our waitress was XT and she was so fun and brought the energy up another notch!

Fun place to hang with a group for ping pong and beer pong. They also had a small section for arcade games.Each table gets a basket of balls and you can just keep playing without picking them up which saves you a lot of time and get the most out of your hourly rate. There is someone who goes around and picks them up and refills the baskets.Nice atmosphere and decently priced drinks.

The atmosphere in here is really unlike any other. I love the steel curtains and the colorful tables while having dim lighting. The staff are very attentive and always picking up any balls you dont get yourself. Cant wait to come back.

This is my third time coming here. The last time I spent my New Year’s Eve here and it was a blast. They have an amazing sound system and good house music. The bartenders, especially Toto, are friendly and attentive, just perfect personality. Atmosphere super fun and inviting, awesome place to hang out with a group of friends.

Space ping pong is always a fun atmosphere but XT went above and beyond at the bar making sure we had everything we need even though it was a really busy night! She was so sweet and so much fun! She deserves a raise!!!

We had the best experience of our entire weekend Toto and Nana are both excellent bartenders/servers. Tonight was literally the best night we had in NY.Update: I’ve been back several times now and cannot express how amazing this place is. Yesterday (11/4/23), my friends and I had a great time celebrating my friend’a bday. XT, Pan, and Mary were so nice and attentive making sure we always a tasteful drink in front of us. Jacob and Carlos were always taking care of anything we needed. William also made sure our night was special. All the staff members always had a smile on their face. I really felt like we were treated like family. Of course, I’ll be back again!

It was such a fun experience here. My friend was visiting me from New Jersey and we had so much fun here. I didn’t expect to enjoy as much. The bartender To To was so nice and welcoming. And we played most of arcade game which was great memories to make🫶

We went into the Lounge and even when all tables were available and one of their employees were telling us we could take a ping pong table in 10 minutes. The manager came and said to our group of 7 that they are closed when they are obviously not close. Make sure you reserve the day BEFORE, the service in this place is ridiculously bad and you might waste your trip even when their website says that they accept walk ins.

Games and sports(sometimes) good drinks and great staff, always go when Im out in the area

Bar tender was extremelly impolite and unprofessional! Wish the management recruited folks with stronger values in amicable hospitality. The place is amazing but the vibrant energy is offset by poor demeanor at the bar.

Literally the best experience I’ve had in New York City! Toto is the sweetest bartender we’ve encountered and made our experience flawless and personable. We will absolutely return and tell others to check this place out! We are having the best time!

Space Ping Pong is sooooo amazing with friends. Ping pong is fun and amusing. Prices aren’t bad either, and great K-pop place to come to if you are a fan of it.

The place is okay. More of a bar than ping-pong, and be warned: MANDATORY 20% TIP even if you dont get any drinks, just for the table itself. 1h of table, with tips, ends up at $60+

This newest addition to ktown has one of the most beautiful bar set ups. I was worried that since I don’t play ping pong much, there would be not much for me to do there but I was totally wrong! The interior decor is awesome and has so many “photo zones” where you can take a lot of good pictures, and they also allow beer pong as well!Food is 10/10 - lobster roll for under $20? Insanity.Go to Brian and tell him you saw this review, and he will take care of you - he’s my new best friend! I couldn’t get off my seat because I loved the bar so much.

We rented out the entire space for 3.5 hours for our holiday party and everything went amazingly. The managers on duty were on top of everything from guest list, food option labels (vegetarian/ gf) to coat check. 10/10 would absolutely host another event here.

Definitely the spot to visit if you’re looking for a fun/chill vibe. I told one of the bartenders, XT, that it was my birthday weekend and she gave me a shot on the house. She even offered to take pics of me and my friends in the telephone booth. If you go ask for her 😉

DO NOT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. If you are black, or against racist individuals and businesses. Please save your money!!GRACE the bartender was extremely rude to myself and my friends. I cannot describe to you the treatment GRACE gave us, because you could just FEEL that she did not want to be helping us or even speaking to us. (You can tell when you’re not wanted somewhere) Some examples or her terrible customer service include misplacing credit cards, mixing up orders (kept giving it so a random black person in the group) blatantly ignoring us when we tried to place orders, constantly disappearing for LONG periods of time. She even came up to some of us at some point asking if she could close out our tabs. (Never have I heard of such behavior at a BAR) Despite this treatment, we were not loud or rowdy, not rude or disrespectful, we were collectively focused on having a carefree good time. Even with GRACE standing slight off to the side, not so quietly talking smack about us to her colleagues. (I personally overheard them and made eye contact several times to the comments she was making to which she would stop talking and walk away)The icing on the cake was after we were treated so terribly and essentially forced us to close out, GRACE went to her manager to complain that we left her no additional tip….**Note: We all paid separately, and an 18% gratuity was already included on EACH of our $100+ checks. GRACE was genuinely terrible, and we all felt GRACE did not deserve a dime more of our money.As we were all leaving we overheard GRACE yelling and talking about our group nastily about not adding in additional tip. We tried to explain to the manager that GRACE’s service was horrible and that she was rude and her behavior towards us was seemingly discriminatory, as GRACE went above and beyond for those (of lighter skin) around us.Hearing this, GRACE then stepped into one of our friends faces yelling and screaming at her that we were liars, and that she wasn’t rude to us. GRACE was literally nose to nose. Yelling in the face of a customer that just spent well over $100 for the disgusting watered down drinks and even more disgusting service she was giving all night. Her manager stood behind the counter not doing anything, so we the patrons, tried to de-escalate the situation by telling our friend not to engage & leaving.GRACE continued to try to get yell, scream and even tried to get physical with us. Yes. GRACE tried to fight us, a large group of black people trying to mind their business and leave, until she finally looked my black male friend in his eyes screamed “NI**ER” at him, then looked around at the rest of us smugly. She was literally smiling and laughing at our outrage in response to the racial slur she so proudly used. Then tried to claim that we were ganging up on her. She tried to start crying, but was faking it and went back to laughing. When we asked the manager angrily how he could let his employee speaking to us that way and use that kind of language, he responded while (finally) trying to hold her back, was “sorry, she’s drunk”. Like huhhhh?!As a supervisor myself, with a team of over 100 employees, I understand what it means to work in the customer service industry. I give exemplary customer service and mandate it from my employees daily. I’m not saying the customer is always right, and I’m not even the type to leave reviews, but GRACE was genuinely disrespectful, rude, dismissive, combative and above all RACIST and deserves to be fired. The managers/management did NOTHING to protect or defend the customer experience, despite us collectively spending hundreds of dollars in their establishment.Black People are clearly not welcome here and the employees and management do not want your money if you’re a NI**ER, so don’t give it.

Be careful! They include 20% service fee and the credit card still has a line for tip. It doesnt say additional tip on the bill which I think is kinda shady. They shouldnt be like that when theyre already charging $50/hr per table, and charging a lot for drinks.

Be sure to clarify when your timing ends upfront. they told us our “hour” time was up after only 45 min because they bumped up our start time to turn tables. I have text receipts letting people know the exact time I got there but they wouldn’t listen to me so essentially I overpaid here and it really soured the experience :((

Much larger arcade than expected! Lots of different cabinets to choose from, tables in between to place your drink down safely, ping pong table, punch machines, and amazing selections of drinks&foods that were affordable and delicious. A definite must go place!

Awesome vibes! It is located on the 5th floor of a very normal looking building without any signage. So for tourists or people new to town just go in and ask them at the lobby which floor it is. If not you will walk past it a few times like me 😂
