I’m truly impressed by the staff here! The front desk staff are always friendly and welcoming, and they always ask how I feel and if I need anything after an appointment. I have had a couple facials with Elizabeth, and every single one feels very thorough and thoughtful. She is very kind and attentive with her initial conversation, but allows the rest of the appointment to be about complete relaxation. All the products she has recommended me have worked wonders! I also recently had Kaylynn for a massage, and I cannot recommend her enough. She delivered an amazing deep tissue upper back massage despite her pressure being listed as light to medium. She felt super detail oriented! I never mentioned how bad my upper back was but she found all the tight spots regardless and really worked on those areas. She regularly checked in with me without forcing conversation, and she even included massage of my jaw and head- which I’ve never had a masseuse do before and was probably my favorite part. Definitely looking forward to scheduling with her again!

The bright spot is my massage therapist. She is excellent. Otherwise, I question how they stay open. They can’t keep staff. They offer great services but have no one to perform them. They aren’t always open when they say they are. Very poorly managed!

Elizabeth was absolutely phenomenal !!! She focused on my concerning areas & gave me suggestions on product regimens to use at home. The facial she gave was soothing and relaxing … the best I’ve ever had ! Can’t wait to go back to her again for another facial !

Jaida was spectacular. She took the time to listen to my concerns about my skin. She made recommendations that have just made sense. Her skin is superb, so I know she knows what she is talking about regarding skin care. She was gentle, and I could see a difference in what she recommended for my treatment the next day. I hope to be able to book with her from here on out. It will definitely make my membership worth having. Jaida thanks girl.

Keah, at the Christiana Massage Envy, gives an AMAZING massage! I let her know my trouble spots and she goes to work with the perfect amount of pressure! She has a very pleasant demeanor and does a great job!

Jaida has a very soothing voice and her touch is extremely relaxing. She explained many things as she was performing my facial so I knew what to expect. Ill definitely request her for future visits.

Jaida was so nice and attentive. She took time to really make sure she was helping me achieve my skin care goals and was mindful of all concerns mentioned.

Carmen is great I have booked with her 3 times already. She is good at firm pressure especially with me working out in the gym it helps to loosen up my neck and back.

Sarah has a technique that is very relaxing and therapeutic. I could have stayed there all day. One of my best massageCant wait for my next one!

Carmen executed my massage FLAWLESSLY! i could’ve proposed after that massage! Perfect pressure, hit EVERY single one of my target areas exactly the way I needed them hit. Tricia at check-in was also extremely positive, so sweet, and made me feel so welcomed. I didn’t catch her name but the woman that checked me out was also amazing! Tens across the board, this team is phenomenal! I wish I wasn’t traveling for work otherwise I’d be penciling Carmen in as my new masseuse. Hopefully I have more work trips in Newark so that I can experience this blissful and super sweet team again soon.

Just had the Greatest Massage from Matt, at the Massage Envy in Wilmington! He was very informative in letting me know what he was going to do, and he didn’t talk throughout my Massage, which I need it to be quiet and relaxing! 😌

My initial visit was on a Sunday and it was a surprise gift from my daughter. She knows Im not a massage type of person so she definitely set me up for the surprise. Well when I got there I was dropped off and filled out the paperwork with a very nice and friendly person at the reception. Then I was lead to a room where I was to wait for my masseuse.............I waited 30+mins only to be told they could not locate her and I would have to be rescheduled!!!! SURPRISE SURPRISE 😮They scheduled me for the next day and my massage was very nice.But nothing was offered or given for my wasted Sunday morning. Not even an aroma treatment 😒 😪 😕

Disappointed- Scheduled a facial for my daughters birthday. Drove an hour to get there & when we arrived, we were told it was cancelled. Nobody called us to let us know. It was mentioned it was due to a family emergency, which is understandable, but a phone call would have been appreciated. It ruined a birthday afternoon plan. I did speak with the asst manager the next day, to which he at least apologized for what happened.

Kenyai is always excellent. It’s really comforting to go to someone who understands melanated skin and how to treat it properly! Her bubbling personality always makes appointments fun and everything she’s recommended has done wonders for my skin. Her tips have even helped my husband who is not a client! She is one of a kind. My skin is always glowing and so soft after I leave. Massage Envy is lucky to have her as a part of the team.

No wasn’t the best . Was charged after I ask if it’s covered under my plan I was told it was. The towels you use on the face are old and rough . Thinking of canceling my plan

I got the new oxygen facial with Elizabeth and it was the best facial I have ever had in my life… I saw immediate improvement in the texture of my skin, pore sized reduced and I was just shining sooooo bright. Elizabeth is so knowledgeable and so sweet! Please see Elizabeth and get this facial if you need to get your face picture worthy with no makeup on!And Carmen - she must have hands made for sore achy bodies. She provides immediate relief of my severe neuropathy, and it’s the best mid day nap ever…snoring and all :)

I went in for a facial with Kenyai and had a great experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She asked me about my concerns with my skin and recommended me products and a routine for me to my desired results.

Carmen is very accommodating and gives great massages in general. It is an absolute plus that she makes sure her hands are warm when she starts.

Roman was the best deep pressure I’ve found which is important as an endurance athlete; everything really gets tight & knotted w/ out the right technique and pressure. The Christiana, DE studio is also well operated and Libby was very helpful, experienced, and smooth which made the full experience restorative and a pleasure at the end of a long week of long days. Tx!

David was a fantastic massage therapist. He was top of the line when it came to his ability to give a professional, firm massage. He was pleasant in the way he talked with me yet knew when to be quiet too. He was unassuming and humble. I would recommend him with 5 stars!

This is absolutely the worst experience Ive seen with fiancé trying to use a gift card I got for her. Twice now Massage envy has cancelled either via text or email for appts that were made at least a month in advance. I purchased a gift card in May 2023 and it still has not been able to be used because of last minute cancellations. Dont know who is running this location but its highly unprofessional. If I would have known she had to wait this long to use the card I would have picked another business. Never again Massage Envy Newark DE.

I had a facial with Kenyai. She explained everything and listened to my concerns!

I would rate our experience as disappointing. My spouse and I booked a couples massage on a getaway weekend. We were not impressed with this service at all. Our therapists were late. Neither arrived on time, in fact both arrived AFTER our scheduled appointment time. Needless to say they were unprepared and our massages showed it. We both asked for firm pressure but the massage felt more like a lotion application. Neither therapist asked if we were satisfied at any point during the massage. My therapist did not address any of the areas i specifically asked for. These massages were not worth $125. I will not be a repeat customer.

Scheduled a nourishing light treatment, but throughout the session, they didnt use any of those technologies. I only received regular acne extraction and soothing moisturizers and couple minutes neck massage. We lost pretty much whole time about 45/50 minutes out of 60 minutes while acne extracting. Still paid the same money but since it was my first facial experience, I decided to check with receptionist thats when she said how she forgot to mention about the light treatment being unavailable and just went ahead and gave European facial. She wasnt even sorry about messing it up.I made sure to tip the technician but it was a terrible service and wouldnt recommend anyone.Please find a better place that will offer service you scheduled for.

I’m updating this review for Maya she is absolutely amazing! The quality of service at this location is always top notch and I always leave feeling refreshed and wonderful. Maya is so calming, polite and respectful she makes the entire experience very relaxing.I’ve been coming here since September and seeing Theresa each time, she is absolutely wonderful; she cares for her clients and really listens to what you request. I have never had anything but an amazing experience every single time I’ve been here. I visited a different location and wasn’t nearly as pleased as I am with the Christiana location, I even drive an extra 20 minutes just to come to this location. The customer service has always been top notch and I’ve felt welcomed each time. I can’t say enough positive things about this location I’m just so surprised at all the negative reviews... Becoming a ME member was an amazing lifestyle change for me and has helped me tremendously.

Today I was scheduled for a massage that I had down as a massage on Saturday. The scheduling comes after massage envy had cancelled my appointment via text on numerous occasions without a phone call.I received a phone call at 3:44pm from the receptionist Char , who stated that my massage is for today so will I be making it? I communicated that I’m 20 minutes away and that There is no way I’m going to be able to make itto which she replied. “Well then we’re going to charge your card”In my opinion, not a great way to communicate that you need to charge for services the customer will not receive.I stated that I am not going to pay for services unrendered to which she then says “that’s policy”!At this time I become angry and said well, then I am on my way and I am going to get my services to which she replies “well our massage therapist needs to leave at five because she doesn’t have a car so you won’t be able to receive 90 minutes worth of services”.AT NO TIME did she communicate that I would be able to drop to a 60 minute massage and still receive services that her “manager” later communicated after she called back.I was then absolutely infuriated as a consumer!I did use profanity as I was now being told that MY money was being taken even when services were not being received.I asked for a customer service number to which she replied “I don’t know the number but I’m going to have my manager Reach out to you… so yeah” (no she actually said “soooo yea” in a completely dismissive and condescending tone!!)awful communication skills.Her “manager” was another level of unprofessional that I had to deal with.I received a call from Nikki, the manager at “both sites” who stated that she was the one who booked my massage. I attempted to communicate my complete disgust with the way the interaction was handled and instead of having a conversation with a customer she stated that she is banning me from all locations and that “you can go to rehoboth because you’re not welcome at our locations”In addition to this comment, she blatantly lied, stating that the employee said that I would be able to receive services if I had come in and they will have only charged me for 60 minutes.I then asked for her supervisor.She said I am the manager to which I stated “I understand, but everyone reports to someone so who do you report to?”she refused to give me that information!She said “you can call corporate”So I asked for corporate information and she told me to “google it!!!”Absolutely the worst.I literally bought massages for people for Christmas and I will absolutely never use their services again!!! EVER!Aside from the fact that they can’t keep a therapist for more than a month, this is how they treat their customers.

For 60 minutes I think most of the time was her rubbing lotion in her hand. It just took to long in between asked for medium pressure and it was too light. When I said you can go harder, nothing changed. She only worked on one problem area that I discussed and barely for any time. I paid for the CBD enhancement for my pain, definitely not worth $30 extra dollars. When I was asked how was my massage, I said it was okay. Nobody asked why just okay. They just took my payment. First and last experience.

Carmen was awesome. She hit all the spots i needed. Great personality.

On a visit from NJ had a great experience with the front desk on directions and services. They were even able to fit me in on such short notice.Angella gave a great massage and made sure she gave me the pressure I was comfortable with and hit all my sore spots I informed her of. Overall I was very satisfied.

My experience with Liz is always amazing. Her facials literally the best. This point has nothing to do with Liz.Today, when coming to my appointment Lexis locked the front door, during open hours and ignored me 3 times when I kept knocking, all while a thunderstorm was occurring. She stared at her screen as if she did not hear me knocking and then put her finger up to say hold on while she went in the back. I want to cancel my membership.

I booked an appointment for a massage and could not get in the scheduled until March 31st. I confirmed the appointment. I told my boss that I would need to step away for an appointment. I arrive and the business is closed. No one answered the phone and the doors weee locked and lights were off. This is unacceptable. There was no communication about rescheduling or cancellations. I am not happy and IWould never recommend this business to anyone and I would like a refund

My 90 minute started 15 minutes late (1:15) because the room had to be changed over and I understood that. However, it ended at the time was scheduled to end, (2:30)and I wasn’t compensated for that 15 minutes of lateness. Additionally, other than that the Massage was OK. I had requested attention to be paid to the upper part of my neck, and that was never given the attention that I had so sorely needed. As a masseuse Angelle was good I was just disappointed in the time being shorter, and the lack of attention to the one area that I really needed

My therapist Carmen is 10/10! I look forward to my massages with her as it is the perfect me time outlet. She is always professional and super friendly. I would highly recommend and even gifted a few massages to my friends.

Maya personalizes my massage every time. No cookie cutter massages. She’s intuitive and attentive! Jen is great for esthetician services. She listens and tailors the service to my specific issues. Again—very attentive and skilled!

Have been a member for years. Techs have come and gone but they are always quick to fill the void. Dave is amazing!

Very relaxing massage but would have like more muscle specific work. My therapist had very long artificial nails which made it difficult for any type of deep tissue work in my opinion. For that reason I would probably choose another therapist next time. The location and most of the experience was very enjoyable though.

Carmen was my therapist and was so good that I almost fell asleep which has not happened in a long time because I have chronic back problems.

I enjoy firm hard massages. My masseuse Angelle asked me multiple times what level and pressure and each time I asked harder and to focus on a shoulder that I could feel knots in. She continued with a light, feather like, massage.I’ve had many massages from all different locations and unfortunately this was the absolute worst massage I’ve ever had.If I hadn’t said anything that would be on me but she asked and I was clear with my response and I asked her to apply more pressure.

First time at massage envy with this massage therapist, David; I wanted to compare this company to where I usually go (since I had to choose a new therapist at that location). He was very attentive to my introduction and I received a wonderful massage, definitely equitable to my current choice. I think I’ve found a new company that can better serve me better!

I got a massage from Maya yesterday (my first massage ever) and it was honestly everything you could want! She was great and explained everything to me and it was so relaxing. Very gentle massage, I don’t really like firm pressure and the lavender aromatherapy was great too.

Had a Massage and Facial here, both were wonderful. I usually have a lot of tension in my back, but Bri was able to work out all of my knots. Lindy took care of my facial and she was wonderful, my face has never felt so clean and smooth. The front desk was also super nice and friendly, they made everything so easy. Really enjoyed coming here and I am looking forward to my next appointment :D

Don’t choose this place. I several cancellations at the last minute! They require customers to cancel at least 24 hrs ahead and they don’t follow the same rule. And I’ve had experiences with multiple therapist with them. 80% of them are not skilled or paying no attention while giving the massage. This place used to be ok before Covid but now it’s super hard to find a good therapist who can do the work.

I just want to say what a wonderful and relaxing experience that I had yesterday. Michael was very friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable with him, with that being said I felt so good and relaxed when he was done, can’t wait for my next appointment.

Keah was awesome; as usual! However; a typically positive experience turned negative as I had been informed just two days before the appt of a $5 surcharge for the Christiana; Concord and Dover franchise based on my current monthly rate at my home location (Sarasota North). When I checked out; I was charged $10 (not $5) and told that the phone message was a mistake (I played the message for the front desk) and that it should have been $10 to get me to the “new” $75 equivalent. I also talked with the assistant manager at Sarasota North who also had the notes in her system that I was to be charged a $5 surcharge….she also let me know that the “surcharge” concept only occurs at a handful of locations. This is not about the $5 difference…..the frustration centers on the fact that this appt was made 2-3 weeks ago at the assumed pre surcharge rate; then got a call 2 days prior to the appt specifically stating a $5 surcharge; and then that surcharge doubled at check out. Ironically; I contrast that with an email I also received yesterday from the Sarasota North location letting me know that my monthly rate would be changing to $70 effective November 29th…..Hope the Delaware franchise leadership takes note of how to properly communicate a price increase….with ample notice and detail.

Theresa is always excellent and extremely knowledgeable. If I ask questions she is always willing to answer and explain everything so I understand. The room is always so clean! The heated table is amazing! Theresa has amazing technique. She manages to work out all my knots and kinks.

I have been going to Massage Envy for about 6 months now and I love it. My last service provider was Mya and she is a great massage therapist. I felt very relaxed and well taken care of. I even dosed off a few times during my massage. I made sure to book her for my next session as well as for my boyfriends next session.

I wanted a full body massage but more time spent on my back. Christina spent about 5-7mins on my back in total. I wanted a firm massage it was no where near firm. Definitely won’t be back to massage envy!

The massage therapists are great. The front desk and manager need improvement. There was a discrepancy where a “glitch” in the computer “lost” 5 of my massages. The manager said it would take her a week to look into it and she would call me. A week passed, I called, left a message, I called the next day and the front desk stated the manager was in but left for the day and they could not tell me when she would be back. I called the next day and my massages were “found” but they had to be Re-issued back to me as points, which were non- transferable. By the end of the week, they finally made it right to where I could transfer my massages and put my account on freeze. I ended up just cancelling my membership and forfeiting the remainder of my massages. I honestly would never go back here due to all of the frustrations. When there is a problem with my account, I would appreciate the manager making more of an effort to follow through with returning calls when she says she will and returning my messages without me having to keep calling everyday to try to get a hold of her. I found it to be very frustrating and unprofessional.

My therapist Angelle was professional but I wasnt satisfied with my massage at all. I asked for med to firm pressure and it never got over light at best I even asked twice for more pressure and still the same. It felt like I was just getting oil rubbed on my skin. I totally wasted my money and time today

Had a busy schedule but didn’t want to miss my appointment with David. Even though I did a shortened session(my choice), it was definitely worth it!

Michael is the best Masseuse in Delaware, hands down! He listens to your body and gives it what it needs. I have chronic pain and stiffness and he works it out every time. I am a regular! I just wish they didnt over schedule him so I can get more appointments 😩

This is seriously the best spa experience Ive had. The prices are very reasonable (especially if you are a member) and you definitely get your moneys worth. Micah was my latest therapist and did some AMAZING work, but Ive had others too, all of whom were wonderful and professional. I almost leave too relaxed - not a bad problem to have!

This was ny first massage and it was a wonderful experience. I felt the stress leaving my body. Maya is very capable, experienced, and compassionate. I signed up for a membership. Thank you ME.

This particular location is a very nice and clean establishment. I have a monthly membership and they are always polite and efficient. I have been seen by many of the therapists but recently have had my last two sessions with Maya. She provides an excellent full-body massage and I highly recommend that you ask for her. I suffer from sciatic nerve pain and loss of sensation due to my obesity and I find a great deal of relief from getting a good therapeutic massage. I also suffer from high amounts of stress and the massages also offer a relaxation bonus. I even fell asleep during my last massage.They are taking all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe with the current and ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic.Thank you Maya and Massage envy located in the Christiana Fashion Center right outside the Christiana Mall in Newark, DE.

Shantell is amazing!!! She does a great job and is the best by far. If you have not seen her do yourself a favor and book an appointment. Don’t expect to get in last minute with her though she books up quick.

I see alot of bad reviews here! I seen Corey when I went and it was my first time there. I called and the lady on the phone was friendly and got me in a few hours later. I got there and the lady at the desk was sweet. I had Corey as a provider and I explained to him what area I needed massaged and what area hurt and he knew EXACTLY what I meant and did exactly what I needed. There were very few words exchanged but he knew what I meant when MANY others never even understood. I felt like I was in heaven. I was happy as hell that finally someone relieved some pain after so many other fails. So THANK YOU Corey! I appreciate that so much! He was professional and sweet as well. Im not sure about the other reviews here but my experience was amazing! I give 5 stars because the encounter I had was a perfect first impression. That atmosphere was calming as well. Im so quick to give a bad review but they deserve these 5 stars!

When I am able to actually get a massage (i.e., the massage therapist doesnt cancel the day of or a week in advance), they are pretty good. Ive been a member at this location for 5-6 months and have had 3/5 of my monthly massages cancelled or rescheduled for several weeks after the initial date as a result of the therapist cancelling.

David is very experienced and professional and reporable.I always feel relaxed during my sessions with him and come out feeling very rejuvenated. He gives great therapeutic advice.Always a great experience !

I had a facial with Lindy and a massage with Micah. Lindy did a great job with my facial, I had several problem areas that needed extractions and she got all of the congestion out while still keeping everything very comfortable. My skin was glowing for the rest of the week! I loved my experience with Micah, he was very easy to talk to and checked in often to make sure he was using the correct pressure. I carry a lot of tension in my lower back and he made sure to spend extra time on that area.

Last night was my first experience at Envy. I gave it 4 stars because non of us are perfect. I had a great massage from Mimi. Front desk were very professional. Thanks I would definitely go back.

This is what every massage envy should feel like. Very welcoming and inviting, friendly and knowledgeable staff and no pressure suggestion for products. I travel for work so I have visited very many massage envys and this one is definitely in my top 3! They have an ample lounge and seating area which is nice. The treatment rooms are a little small but not at all cramped. They’re efficient and friendly and wonderful and I wish I could take them all with me!

My overall first experience with Massage Envy was excellent. From scheduling with Cydney, to my massage with Soly and ending with my facial with Lindy! Cydney was very personable and made the experience very comfortable. I made an appointment by phone the day of and she was there to greet me when I arrived for my appointment. She explained everything in detail and took me on a tour when I first arrived. Soly was my massage therapist and she was awesome. She assessed my needs and communicated with me throughout, to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied. She was awesome. I ended my experience with a facial with Lindy. She was very knowledgeable and made recommendations to help me with my current skin care regimen and for future services. She was also very comforting and we had great conversation throughout the appointment. It was an awesome experience and I have already told friends and family about the experience and they are excited to make appointments also! I am also looking forward to my next appointment with these wonderful ladies!

Very Very upset with this place! My kids purchased a gift card over the phone for me for a Christmas present. All I received was a Christmas card with specifics, $125 towards any type of massage, plus free 30 minutes massage! I went 2/28, my birthday! When I was leaving, they were supposedly having computer issues and so she had to send me an email receipt. I signed for a $15 dollar tip ONLY. She knew i thought I was Only signing for the tip. I found out last night that i was charged $70! I called today, spoke with krissy, who acted like i needed some kind of proof, and never apologized, nothing. Said there was NO information on my account. Well my daughter in law will, at the very least, have bank transactions. Several issues i have with this, but especially that they charged me for $55 that I Never signed for!! Thanks for Nothing Massage Envy!!As far as the massage, I found it to be too uncomfortable about half of the time. It wasnt soothing/relaxing, but felt rather rough, almost fast, if that makes sense and my bones were continually rubbed, my neck stretched painfully! I always use guys if possible because I have found they are able to do deep tissue that i prefer, but he was not well trained or something! I have chronic muscle tightness and so have had massages for years. I can honestly say this was the worst massage Ive ever had.

I worked at a previous massage envy in another state for some time loved it! I got hired at this location November 2017 because of my experience not even 2 days of working here didn’t even get a chance to WORK I get a call from the manager telling me I was suitable for the job, she was completely ignorant from the time I started her and the owner, I then figured out that they let me go because they saw my teeth issues which I had lost due to an accident and have since been fixed! I tell everyone I know do not do business with these disgusting people! This is not about all massage envy’s just this one!!

Her hands was cold during the massage, she never turned off the light to put me in a more relaxing state, her technique just didn’t make me feel like she was a professional, and to top it off…She continuously kept talking to me during the WHOLE ENTIRE VISIT 🙄, so I couldn’t enjoy my massage at all. I would highly recommend you guys convey that to all of your technicians, because Unice your other tech did the exact same thing. Thats twice in the row! My back has been bugging me lately so I really was looking forward to unwinding and get a really good massage but that wasnt the case. I couldn’t think of a way to tell them I much rather NOT TALK, but I didn’t want to come across rude ya know. Thank you for your time, not sure if Ill stop by that location in the near future. I am generally very happy with Massage Envy, but this last time I went not so much. I had a facial. As soon as the woman greeted me, she was trying to upsell me. Seemed off put when I didnt upgrade. I have sensitive skin, she kept telling me how much my skin loved the products she was using. My skin did seem well hydrated, but didnt look much different than when I walked in. She also suggested I buy a ton of products. The one she said I must have was very expensive. She then suggested I come in for longer treatments every two weeks.Then when I was checking out I asked how much the suggested product was. The girl at the register seemed bothered to have to check the price and even more so when I didnt buy it.I have continued to use my usual products and my skin is fine.

My husband and I went for massages on 6/15/19, they were good/average. When we were checking out at the front desk they upsold my husband on a 2 session pack with upgrades to use at a later date.Heres where things went downhill and bad....When my husband went back in to redeem one of his massages on 8/12/19. After his massage, he went to check out and the front desk had no idea how to process the promotion in the system and said he couldnt use it. They called a manager and eventually checked him out using the coupon 45 MINUTES later. So, after a one hour relaxing massage on his day off from work he then waited 45 minutes after his massage for them to figure it all out. Way to undo all of the relaxation! He even had to pull up his bank account to prove that he purchased the promotion.We have waited for a manager or owner to call us but nobody has. At this point, we just want a refund for the remaining massage because we will not be back. I very rarely write negative reviews but this had to be shared. Get it together Massage Envy - Christrana!

My experience was not good. The massage therapist did not communicate well, merely rubbed my skin and rushed through the massage. When I informed the front desk they didn’t seem to care. I will never go to this place again.

I joined the membership program a few months back, and I hate to say it but its probably been the best decision I made.The girls at the front desk are really nice and accommodating. Ive seen a few different people here for my massages, and they have all been great. If I had to pick a favorite so far, I would probably say Thairia (not sure if thats how she spells it).

Horrible experience! Ive gotten massages at multiple places across the world the customer service here was by far the worst. Had booked a 60mins appointment for myself and my pregnant wife - and upon reaching 10mins late I was only given a 15 minutes massage but charged the full amount for a 60mins massage. The front desk receptionist was an amateur and couldnt coordinate at all and kept going back and forth with the Manager (unnecessary stress for my wife!). The Manager eventually called back only to confirm full charge, and was evidently the most uncooperative person Ive encountered! Never going back and wouldnt recommend this place to any of my friends either, theyve literally lost a potential client!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being worked on by Michael. Nothing short of amazing. Not only did he communicate with pressure and techniques, he educated me on what I can do between visits to maintain!This team is the best!!!

My husband brought me a gift card here for Christmas break. When I first walked in I really was loving what I seen, nice set up. I signed the intake forms for my massage and waited in the tranquility room. My massage was scheduled for 11 AM my therapist didnt arrive until 11:15 and didnt start on me until 11:30 at that point I was so fustarted, they did give me a discount, but it was very unprofessional for the therapist to arrive late! And didnt even apologize !

Do not book your appointment online if you have never done so before! Scheduled my appointment online and thought that it was confirmed. I showed up for my scheduled time to find out my appointment was not confirmed! The young lady who was working the front desk informed me that it is absolutely necessary to put in your payment method before your appointment is confirmed when it comes to that page online. At no point online does it tell you that this has to be done to confirm your appointment. The young lady at the desk said this happens very frequently when people show up for appointments that they think they have confirmed. She reported they are well aware of the problem and have tried to get this changed.

I was thinking about canceling my membership because I just did not find the perfect therapist for my back pain. I gave it one more try and signed up with David. I have decided to keep my membership as David has provided me with the best care for my back.

The massage I had this evening was amazing! I see Jalen and he is friendly, professional, and listens to what you need to walk out feeling like a new person. His techniques and pressures are top of the line. Best masseuse I have ever had! I have had pain for many years in my low back and neck, and have tried many things to reduce my pain. Injections, water therapy, therapy, even surgeries. Nothing helped, until I started getting monthly massages from Jalen. The pain is drastically reduced and I am able to handle my daily routines easier. Highly recommended!

Never text even though I specifically requested & front desk verified on multiple occasions that it was documented. I have fibromyalgia and memory problems as a result. It makes it very difficult to remember things without circling back.10/2019 was my last appt, front desk stated that I could not return without a dr note due to upcoming surgery and pre-existing conditions. It was a memorable day after being told my entire massage that my appt was almost cancelled because no one was both licensed & certified to assist on this day. The young lady at the counter did not provide a FREEZE FORM and I had no way of knowing that she was supposed to do so. I was charged the 65 dollar monthly fee after being told I was okay. The assistant manager contacted me in November, again by phone, instead of text stated I was late, refused to refund due to their own error. My understanding was that I needed to return freeze form when I returned for service but account was on hold. Day after Christmas $195 was withdrawn from my account because I was delinquent. Horrible experience, worst customer service response ever. Dont often review, but this is rediculous. Rarely see same employees & today they sent me blank freeze form and a different customers completed cancellation paperwork from 10/17/19. Im on longterm disability through work and I live in a different state than this location. I was considering a lifetime relationship due to specific medical needs. But whatever, 65 dollars per month, plus 45 for additional services...till Im 80. Thats a rediculous amount of money & decades of business for a franchise to throw away. Ce La Vie

I regularly see David for deep tissue massages. When the massage is over I am so relaxed that my voice is deeper. Getting regular massages from David has helped with the pain and tension I have from my fibromyalgia. I highly recommend massages from David. He is a wonderful therapist.

The experience I had today at this establishment was the most dehumanizing, degrading and vile exchange I have ever had. The ambiance may be nice but the individuals that they have employed do not have the similar views on customer service and Jaylen has proven to be one of the most rude and vile characters I have come across. The way he speaks and his attitude towards a customer who was having their very first massage experience, who had some insecurity about acne and her skin was distasteful and crass.If you have backache or any spots on your body just know that jaylen will lack sensitivity. Know that the owner of this location is unconcerned with ensuring that everyone is comfortable as they undergo an intimate process where they should feel safe.Jaylen should not be allowed in the presence of anyone when they are in any state of vulnerability. Shame on this location for allowing such a crude person to show up to work and spread his nasty negative energy.Stay clear of this man!

Naaah don’t do it. Although the therapists are awesome, the business surely is not run by people that know how to run a business. I find people in charge that their noses are pointing to the sky aren’t part of reality. It’s funny that they feel so empowered yet don’t really know how to run a business. I found things unprofessional and kinda immature with the way things are handled. I’d expect more from a business that has corporate guidelines. Very high cost for such low end representation of business.

BUYER BEWARE ..we had cancelled our membership as we moved out of state. They kept charging our account and before we realized it they had charged an additional 5 months. My husband had major surgery and the owner would not extend the services. They expired and now we have paid for 5 services and cannot use them. I would NEVER recommend Massage Envy to anyone, especially the one at Christiana , DE.

I took my mom to get a massage here for her birthday. HORRIBLE experience, the massage itself was nice. But the customer service was just bad, very chatty at the front desk it’s suppose to be quiet. They were in a rush to check her out. And the whole time i was waiting for her the boss was talking about clients. Won’t be returning

I’m not sure if the masseuse was new and or just not very good. The massage was not good at all. I wasn’t even offered water after my massage. Maybe because of Covid they don’t offer water after massages anymore.

Received a massage that left me extremely sore and bruised for days. Even after telling the masseuse that the pressure was too hard, he proceeded to torture me.Out of all the massages I’ve ever received, I’ve never had anyone push so hard on my spinal column. Since when are you supposed to focus on massaging someone’s bones the entire massage??I sent the establishment owner an in depth email along with a picture of the damage to my back and received NO RESPONSE. I’ll pass on ever getting a massage or membership here and will be sure to communicate this information to my friends and family. Poor massage technique and even worse customer service.

However, I’ve always experienced a bit of pain in every session that I just learned to breathe through. Yesterday, I received the perfect massage from Jalen at the Newark DE location. This young man has mastered the Deep Tissue technique. I now understand that what I’ve been missing in all the countless sessions that I received was skill and knowledge on how to apply the right amount of pressure.
