The Newark Hub

I really like this bar. Im from out of town but this place is always a comfortable place to hang out and drink. They usually have a really good band on the weekend evenings

My wife and I were here for the monster mash show 10/27. Everything was amazing. The staff was on top of things making sure that the customer was satisfied. Well I must say my wife and I were very satisfied. And the show was fantastic as well. There were some amazing costumes as well. Id definitely recommend my friends to check out the hub

We went to see the wasted and sedated rap night. The atmosphere is awesome! Good food, absolutely no complaints, and even better people! Everyone was nice and just there to have a good time! Ill definitely be back!

Great place. Played with my band there. Good crowed! Wish they served food before 8pm was the only comment I would make.

Fun Drinking With Friends Place. If you like dancing and Pool. Gambling, and outside Smoking deck outside. Good Music live DJs or the Jukebox. Always Fun. Good Drinks an some you may have never heard of here. Very fun for Group Gatherings too.

Great little dive bar with that punk rock attitude! If your into that atmosphere. The bands were pretty good as it was just before the nofx show. Pool tables looked too be in decent shape.

Played at their local artist showcase, it was a great time, lots of great music. Food was good, great drink selection and awesome people!

The music is a bit heavy for my liking ... Other than that seems like a Nice Neighborhood like bar! Cheers 🍻

Dont sleep on the food here. The burgers and burritos are legit. And really modestly priced.Great bar, if you want a club-like atmosphere. The owners are almost always around to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of.

Weve been here quite a few times and its seriously a great time every single time we go. Place is clean and fun! Owner is a great guy and employees are super friendly. Prices are great and pool tables are always fun. If youre in the area, stop here for sure!

We had a great time! I was impressed by the owner. He worked right beside his staff to keep everything moving. Try their food. The onion rings were amazing!

Stopped by the place. I heard it was a good spot to hang out at with people around my age. But this place is the most white trash bar I’ve ever seen. I wasn’t in the door for more then five minutes before the bartender was being harassed by drunks.

Love the Hub. Trash Junkies play there alot. I come with the band and they are always treated well there by the owner and bartenders. Trash Junkies had a pretty big following. The food is great too

Never never again. Wow. Let me just tell you this part of it... I was just shooting pool, honestly I wanted to leave. Unfortunately I was blocked in by the police presence that had surmounted since my arrival.Then the bartender came up and said , pack yer stuff up, Im over tonightHe did offered me a dollar. 🤣

Lived in this town my whole life and this is the only bar Ill go to. Its a great crowd, and a very fun atmosphere to hangout in. The pool tables are immaculate. Theres also lots of other games to play, and tournaments to enter. The owners are very involved, and regularly have events and live music. If youre looking for a cool casual place to let loose this is it.

I normally go there to drink a few beers and play pool. I might get a little to eat. Good group of people there

I didnt try any of their food. My band Konipshun PHit just played a show here. We had a pretty good time

Ive only been up there once, but the owner is a fantastic guy. There are some great players up there. But one of the main selling points is that they have some of the nicest, most well maintained tables around. It can get loud at night, but thats easily solvable with ear plugs, and or headphones / ear buds. If youre looking to play pool, looking for a league, or just looking for good food, drinks, company and pool. The Newark hub would and should be your first stop.

Plenty of parking, kid friendly hours, clean environment. The staff are amazing and the food is super delicious. And did I mention they have the cutest bartenders? Always the best music on the weekends.

Second visit here the music is awesome the prices are crazy low the beer is cold and the place is full on a a Saturday night filled with metal and great times will most definitely be back as the music scene is vibrant and alive here

This place has keep me sane throughout the years and I wouldn’t go to anywhere near to relax

Would have been fun if my friends and I didnt get kicked out for being all over the place. They had just gotten past tipsy and I was sober, we didnt leave the pool table except to order one round of beers. Yet we were kicked out in under an hour just for talking among ourselves. Pretty uptight for a small bar with a couple pool tables.

I cannot even begin to explain how much this place means to me. They let us have a benefit to raise money for my wife who recently passed away. Everything was perfect. Food was amazing. Thank you so much.

I love the hub! Its great people and great times! I also love their DJ Pro on Sat nights, he is AWESOME! Its nice to listen to the sounds of a big city in such a small town.

The best pool tables in town, best French fries, u must try their $4 burrito, best PBR prices ($1 draft & $4 pitchers) Tammi hosts the best karaoke, great bartenders...in a nutshell its one of the best spots in Newark!

Its a fun bar to shoot pool and be with friends. Sometimes, its a little slow with making and serving food. But the food is delicious.

It was our first time going, Cute place, loved the music, however the vibes were off the second you walked in, had multiple girls giving dirty looks the entire time we were there & we later asked them multiple times if we could play pong because they had been holding the ball for 30 minutes while also making out with some dude (they never once started a game) & having them act like they were gonna start a fight I will not be going back (: not the vibe you want when your trynna drink and have a good time

This is one of my favorite places to go. I play pool here almost everyday and everyone is super friendly. If you come here your guaranteed to have a fun time.

I found some nice pool tables here. I also had a blast watching Nascar at Chicago.

The Hub is a fun place to hang out. Especially Thursday nights for karaoke with Tammi and the bartender Mallory. She never lets your drinks go dry.

The drinks were a great price, awesome people around and the chicken quesadilla was amazing tasting! I would highly recommend this place to hang out at! :)

Its a very well kept place and the staff and owners and very friendly and respectful. Their food is great and I would recommend the Texas Toast Melt with Jalapeños Poppers!
