Miriam does an awesome job of relaxing the knotted areas. If I’m having a problem area, we discuss and she addresses accordingly. I enjoy firm pressure but not deep tissue. For reference.. I only get back, neck, arms & feet massaged.

I’m so glad I gave this place another chance. I’ve been a ME member for over 10 years and had the most bizarre experience w a provider here. The mngr worked w me and did not charge me, but I was hesitant to return. I’m so glad that I did. Miriam did a fantastic job, and will def include in my rotation.

I booked my appointment last minute day of with Vickie. It was my first experience at massage envy and did not know what to expect, but Vickie took great care of me. I felt relaxed the whole appointment. She recommended some great products for me to use at home to deal with my skin issues. Vickie was great! I’ll be back :)

Denise is the best! I have worked in aesthetics for close to 20 years and regularly get facials. She is amazing Aesthetican, runs on time, and really does a nice job with extractions. I see her once a month for a micro infusion and once a month for a hydration facial.Book with Denise , she’s great!

Sarah was very very good. She gave me great relief from back- sciatica pain that developed on my long trip to California from Texas ! Not totally gone but so much more tolerable!

I have been to many Massage Envy locations and this one is by far the best Ive been to. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Shelley and Niamh and had a great conversation with them before having an amazing massage by Miriam (no wonder shes booked out a month in advance). I would give these ladies 10 stars if I could.

Monique was my therapist. She was certainly nice but smelled of vape? Deep tissue was selected but she did not treat in that manner. In fact, light except elbow in my back.She finished 15 minutes early for a 60 minute massage.And, on my arrival she referred to me as Michael….At this point I’m not sure I will return.

I like to she put the extra effort and time to work on my skin. The facial was very different and good. Sabrina is amazing just as Vikki and Denisse are too. I’m happy about my experience

Massage was very robot-like and in spite of asking twice to warm up the room temp, therapist left the temp at 71* and giggled. I was cold the entire time. Not coming back.

Angie is by far the best masseuse.Immediately she assessed my back issues and suggested lymphatic massage and today my aches and pains are gone. Love her♥️

LaTonya gave the best massage I’ve had in a long time. My right hip was a bit tight from a long flight I recently took. She was able to work out a lot of tension I had and gave me some great advice to work out my hip even more at home. I highly recommend her.

Mariam was an exceptional therapist. I get massages all the time, and this was literally probably the most enjoyable. She has a vast range of techniques and firmness levels, but if youre looking for injury recovery, on the verge of deep tissue but not overly much so, but very soothing, healing, and ultimate relaxation, book Mariam. This is a bold statement, but this might have been the best massage Ive ever had.

I honestly had an awesome experience and the fact that they knew i had a gift card and lived out of town doesnt end up likely that there would he a membership conversion at the end and they still treated me very well. I just love this membership! Billy is my massage therapist most of the time and he is a very skilled therapist! The location is nice, clean, quiet and while small, has all you need! I have also had Nina as my therapist and she is a very good therapist. I have had a facial at this location in the past and that was a great experience as well! I highly recommend a membership! It is so worth the money!

This location is the worst of the franchise. We came in (two of us) for deep tissue massage and had the worst experience. To begin, my therapist had no idea he had a massage and was late to my appointment. He then began the massage with ice cold hands which was very unpleasant. Neither one of the therapist were able to provide deep pressure during our massage as we requested when booking our appointments. I asked about 4 times during the massage for more pressure. The therapist would do it for a minute and then go back to lightly caressing my back.Then after the disappointing massage, I emailed them right away, they did not get back to me. After submitting the ME survey online, they finally reached out. They offered to make new appointments for us with a better fit therapist and along with this a free 30 minute upgrade. The best part is that the branch is expecting us (yes, the dissatisfied customer) to pay for a new session to give them a second chance. They are really out of their mind! I hope they come to their senses and refund us for the horrible massage we had at their location. Below is the email they send us, and then they expected us to pay. Be aware of this place.

Jaime is amazing!! I always prefer firm pressure and she actually does it. Yesterday my sciatic nerve had been bothering me and she really got it there to release the tension. The pain actually was gone by evening and I slept well!

The expertise of the LMT providers at this location seem to be a step above other massage envy options in the OC area. this location has become my go-to. if you ever have a chance to book a massage appointment with billy, grab it! he typically books out months in advance. he is so good that i actually plan my personal life calendar around his availability :-)

This last time he gave me a combo and I think that’s what I really needed to relax.I really hope you can keep him… I’ve been through too many masseuses at ME… Thank goodness I found Billy cause I was about to quit.

I once went years ago and got Miriam and since then I haven’t changed therapists. I am so happy I met her years ago and if you decide to go to massage envy, Miriam is the best!!!

Nina is the best massage therapist. My muscles get extremely tight with my workouts and playing tennis. Nina knows just what to do to loosen those muscles up and relieves my lower back. She’s the best!!!

Horrible. Angie is a lovely human being but not a good masseuse :(. I walked in stressed with a sore neck and knots in my shoulder and walked out with all the above and mosquito bites. I killed two mosquitoes just in the front area alone. Thankfully I had a gift certificate, so I didn’t pay much for it. Worst massage I’ve ever had (& I’ve had a lot)!Front desk staff was friendly!

Place was alright. The front desk staff were very polite, and everything looked clean and well maintained. I did have to wait around 15 minutes to even start my massage, though, even though I arrived right on time. My masseuse didnt notice me sitting in the waiting room. When he did get to work on me, he did a decent job--but I feel it couldve been a little better. The massage even ended a little bit early, so it felt like I was in there for more like 45 minutes than the full hour--that was a little disappointing.Overall, I feel I still got what I paid for, but theres better places out there.

Angie was very kind and helped get rid of my migraine.

My first treatment with Saied was great. He targeted exactly the areas where I was feeling tension and pain which resulted in immediate relief. I will definitely be booking him again!

The massages are great, the business is as scummy as can be. They will hike your autopay rate without notice and make it difficult to cancel your membership. There was a class action against them that got thrown out due to excessive lawyers fees, do not give these people your credit card details. Hand & Stone seems much less shady.

Wow! I was surprised to see the rating after I went here. I was very pleased with the front desk staff. Especially the gal that helped me. She knew her stuff and made sure I truly enjoyed my visit by making sure I was guided into the right treatment. The massage was spot on. I enjoyed stretching and percussion therapy too. Happy guy, booked again. Thank you.

Love this location and their masseurs. It is a hard job, so anyone who is complaining about service being alright - go to a spa where you are charged $300-400. Also, if you are worried about other people being not vaccinated - maybe you should stay home. Just a thought.

Jamie keyed on my neck tension and found the perfect pressure to work out the muscles to get me centered.

I have been having headaches for days from my tense shoulder and neck. I went there and got a massage from Nancy and my headaches were gone. Now they come back whenever I do sport but still, i used to have headache without even doing anything before the massage. The front staff was cool too and explained to me the process of getting a membership which i did get cuz my body seems to need massage regularly. I just wish they would have a system where you get reminder about your appointment since I almost missed my appointment.Update: they do send a reminder the day before. I’m not sure why I missed the reminder at that time.Update:I once again got my shoulders tensed up but this time I had a 30 min stretch session with Ervin. This was actually my first stretch session and I am impressed. The session was not long but Ervin did a lot in that short amount of time. I would not pick massage envy as place to get a massage because it costs twice as much for a massage at a different place (massage envy= 120$/60min other places= 50-70$/60min). The one thing that I would go to do at massage envy is stretch service. Ervin did great and now I am more interested in stretch service than massage service at massage envy.

Wow. This was a very disapointing membership. First lets just start with the fact this is my second round with ME. I truely understood the difficult process for quiting and or dealing with poor service.I started at the irvine jamboree 405 location. The first visit was ok , however everytime i found any one good. They would be unavaible or leave permanently. I understand the covid issue. We all had to deal with things in are business,s.I was unable to schedule appointments. I was cancelled over 80 percent of my visits.I finaly had enough and after my 6 month was over i decided the purpose of ME was to reduce stress , not add more.To my surprise. The irvine location closed , and i received the you are an important customer email. Lol.After being told i cant schedule where i signed up, and still must pay my 6th month anyway. LolI decided to contact ME corporate to discuss my concerns. To my surprise. This is very important. They have been in so many lawsuits they advise you your on your own. We dont control anything or anyone. Lol.To help others make a good decision let me provide a few concerns.1) you are joining a binding, false represented membership2)you will be rescheduled and have a hard time finding the right person. I really feel for the working staff, they are trying. They cant control poor ownership or direction3)you will have no support from ME corporate. They hide and promote poor, unfair business practices. Google them and look at the long legal issues.4) the 17th street location is nothing great. Old building and complex. Parking is good, trying to be positive.5) the owner needs to learn what a customer is. To be fair many businesses have the same issue. So when you dont listen, and respect the customer, you wont have any.So, to the owner, I have decided, you may enjoy my final monthly ME payment for yourself. You must need the money more than I.I was advise i must use it or loose it in 60 days. I dont think its even worth using.Hope it pays your bills, and keeps you happy.Its clear you dont keep your custmers happy.

Poor staff and bad ownership. The person performing the massage was very unprofessional. I am even left the massage early. I asked to speak to a manager and/or owner and I was very called back which was disappointing. It shows they dont care about their business. I will be going to MASSAGE HEIGHTS off of MAcArthur from now on. They seem to be able to be professional over at MASSAGE HEIGHTS. Maybe next time you Massage Envy people roll your eyes at a customer and not call your upset customer back, maybe you will think twice. Newport has options for this type service; some options far FAR better than this dump. Treat your customers with respect

I referred a friend for a massage but it was such a bad experience for my friend. She was not able to get the massage because the massage therapist did not show up. She should have been told the therapist was not there. Maxsage Envy keeps part of cleints payment but if the therapist doesnt show up clients get an attitude from the staff just like my friend experience.

Ron not only listened to my needs wants and concerns it executed them perfectly!! Very happy with Ron.

I would give zero stars if I could. This was the worst massage I have ever gotten in my life. Additionally the front desk girl was so rude and incompetent. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, do not go here!!!!

One of the worst massages I’ve ever had.That’s what I get for going last minute. I felt bad for the guy but it just was a waste of an hour.

Ron was very accommodating and keep checking in with me during the 90 minutes.
