I recently had the pleasure of getting my nails done at Cosmo Nails, and I must say, they are the best in town! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, making me feel right at home.Bridget, in particular, stood out to me. She provided exceptional service and took really good care of me throughout my visit. Her attention to detail and skillful technique left me with perfectly manicured nails that I couldnt be happier with. She listened to my preferences and executed them flawlessly.The overall experience at Cosmo Nails was top-notch. The salon was clean and well-maintained, and the range of nail services they offer is impressive. Whether youre looking for a classic manicure or something more unique and trendy, they have it all.I highly recommend Cosmo Nails to anyone in search of a fantastic nail salon experience. I had a lovely time with Miss Tanya today! I came in with two crooked nails and a hard design but she ate it up! She was so sweet and I totally felt like she was my auntie! I’m visiting family for a couple days here in Newport but I’m definitely coming back!! I got builder gel with this colorful French Tip design. Her attention to detail is immaculate!

I just moved to Newport Coast and found the holy grail of nail salons. Hands down the best manicure and pedicure I have ever received. I had the pleasure of working with Bridget, Lynn and Kelly (Front Desk). Their attention to detail exceeded my expectations. Such a beautiful salon and no better way to end my chaoti work week. I can’t wait to go back 🩷

The best nail salon I have experienced in a very long time! The staff is professional and friendly as well as extremely experienced as they all have many years in the business. Atmosphere is warm and salon is very clean due to Kelly at the front desk. She greets you by first name, comes around to be sure you are satisfied and always prioritizes customer comfort and satisfaction. This is rare in nail salons, but Kelly always makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. A huge thank you to Kelly for making me feel like family and for all the excellent nail technicians that work at Cosmo Bar Newport Beach.

My new favorite nail salon, will be a repeat customer. Ive been there three times so far and have loved each time! Ive gotten a pedicure twice, manicure once, and gel X nails twice, with pricing bwing similar to other salons. Julie, Josh, and Ken have done my nails and all were great to work with

I love this salon! Everyone is so warm and welcoming. I never complain about my nails because they’re always done to perfection but I had a couple of cracks this week and they gave me a fresh dip manicure free of charge with no questions asked. Lynn did an AMAZING job!!!! I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she made it happen! Came in for a gel manicure with extensions and a pedicure and was out in less than two hours, even though they were super busy. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always top notch service every time. Highly recommend!

Pleasantly surprised how nice Cosmo nail bar is. Texted Lynn late Saturday and she was available. She made sure I also got my toes done. She’s an amazing dip nail tech! Always does them just the right length and color. Kelly did an incredible job on my toes and great massage. Tracy also did a nice shoulder massage. An incredible “Spa Day” experience! Got an impeccable Gel Build Up (fill) plus gel polish from Bridget, an indulgent “Hawaiian Pedicure” with amazing extra massage from Lynn & a 30 minute Decadent Shoulder/Neck/Arm massage from Kelly…..I’ve moved from living in OC full time (back to my hometown in Santa Monica) but still come back to my second “home “ a lot. I’ve been to every nail salon in the county over the years & on this trip decided I wanted to experience a new one. Little did I know, I’d be surprised to find Kelly, the manager who I’d known from a decade before at another favorite Newport Coast salon heading up a team of great professionals & several from “the old days” who followed her HERE….It was meant to be & is top notch as expected. Clean, professional, on trend, vast colors & current techniques all on pointe! Can’t wait to return…..♥️

I had a great experience. The salon was clean. The stylist took her time and made me feel comfortable. I would go back. Gel pedicure was $60 and an additional foot scrub was $10.

Ken gives me a fabulous manicure each time I come. He’s great at shaping nails and he works quickly without compromising the result. Heidi gives me an amazing pedicure and really makes an effort to give me a luxurious experience.

This was one of the best mani/pedis I have experienced. Linda and Holly was phenomenal. I felt so comfortable and even fell asleep for a bit. The salon was clean and well kept, and they served beverages and snacks. What a lovely experience.

This is the best! Worth every penny.Jenni the manager was an absolute great hostess. We walked in and she assisted us quickly. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and handled it joyfully. Josh did my first ambere acrylic nails and did the most amazing job. Tara does an amazing pedicure. Mary did a great job soft natural pink ambere gel nails. The environment is perfect with lovely music and a nature tv playing. The place is perfect with cleanliness and elegant touch. They have champagne & wine during your experience. Recommend this place 100% for beautiful nails and a great experience. Everyone speaks english and no horrible cuticle bleeds if you have done your nails enough you know that is not ok. This place a must!

They do a good job with nails, but I would not recommend brow waxing. Good location and they care about providing good service and listen to their customers.

The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing for a Saturday morning which I appreciated. My nail techs were Lynne and Kelli and I was impressed with the quality and time they took to shape and paint my nails. Would highly recommend this nail salon for its excellent service!!

My car broke down in the same parking lot of this salon, and I had time to kill while waiting for a tow truck, they got me in immediately without a question and gave me the most gorgeous gel manicure and regular pedicure. I wish I lived closer I’d be a regular here for sure!!!

Absolutely terrible. pressured my mom into a manicure after she said no multiple times and also pressured her to get the more expensive pedi after she yet again said no multiple times. I specifically asked for a very defined square shaped acrylic and instead she filed them into coffin shape and after I asked her to stop filing them in she continued to do it. location and website said they close at 7. we arrived at 5:15 and felt as though they rushed to do ours. we left around 620 and not even five minutes later went back because one of my nails was already messed up. they closed the store already. it was only 6:27. so extremely unprofessional and expensive as hell. I can go back home and get a much nicer set for literally close to $100 cheaper. should have read the reviews beforehand. horrible.

Wonderful mellow salon. Very relaxing. Katelyn is fabulous and very smart and kind! I have been going here for years even though I live in Irvine. New owner has done a beautiful job redecorating recently.

KV was my tech and she did a bang up job! I had to leave within an hour upon arriving and the technician and manager both made sure I was on time leaving the salon. The dip manicure was not rushed and I honestly feel it is such a good job! my nails are smooth which doesnt always happen with dip, especially when in a rush. Very happy! They are now my new nail salon

Super kind and awesome nails!

I got an Aroma pedi and mani combo. I was very happy with it. They dont cut off too much of the cuticles which I like. So they proceeded very gently. It was very relaxing. They took their time to flawlessly put on the nail polish. Friendly staff.

Molly did an amazing job with my dip manicure! The salon is very clean and I was able to make a last minute appointment while I was in the area. I am very happy with how my nails look - she knew exactly what shape would look best with my long fingers and nail beds - and even went as far to say that because of the natural curvature of my nails when they grow out, this length is the best for me (which I completely agree with - usually nail techs want to you to keep your nails as long as possible). I will definitely be back!!

While I was there manager was yelling and shouting at employees while doing my nails. My dip manicure lasted 6 days (usually they last until they are outgrown) I’ve never had a dip chip. Don’t waste your money here

Highly recommend - Tammy is my go to manicurist. She has a great attention to detail and makes sure you leave happy with your nails exactly how you want them. I never got regular manicures until I started going here.Additionally, they have great customer service. I messed up my pedicure just hours after getting it and they fixed it free of charge.Reasonable prices given location.

I have been here a few times, and its the best! Today I went in with nails that seriously needed help. I had been somewhere else, and my nails were so damaged with so many layers of different things on it. Molly was able to help me out, and made them beautiful! I will definitely be coming back.

Got my nails done less than a week ago. Full set with acrylic and gel on top. Already chipping. The last couple times I’ve been here the customer service has not been the best.

I just got acrylics a few months ago. I’ve been hating the shape and imperfections. I’ve been to three different salons to fix them. They couldn’t get the shape right. I finally gave this place a try and Molly works miracles! Ken did my pedicure. Not only did he do an amazing job but the best massage ever. These two are flawless.

Hien and Teresa did an amazing job on my nails and made it known their mission is “when the customer is happy, they are happy!” They truly are here to serve and take care of people! The nail techs are very good. I did not like that they charge $8.00 to replace a broken nail, $3.00 to trim or shorten your nails which should be included in the service. And $15.00 for gel polish when you request a gel fill. Also depending on the nail polish you choose off the wall for pedicure they charge $3.00 for a top coat. Dont you normally get a top coat included in the service?

It was my first time! But they were way over priced!! Charged almost 20 dollars more for 2 easy nails!! They were very nice but who did my nails I didn’t seem did that good of a job considering I payed 70$

Was treated very poorly and given dirty looks by workers. Very rushed, owner insisted I get a manicure. Was told a full set would be $35, was not told a base coat would add to the cost. Somehow ended up paying $65??? Rude and dishonest workers. Will not be coming back.

I am not happy I did gel manicure but they make my nails so thin and polish cheap the day after. The employee is very nice, and the salon is so fancy, but they are not professional.

This is my favorite place to come do my my nails! They always do my design and even find ways to improve it! I definitely recommend Kaitlyn or Ken if youre going for acrylics.

Called to book an appointment for broken nails that the technician did here originally. This is a simple conversation made extremely difficult. The management team is rude and impatient over the phone. I could hardly speak without getting interrupted. I was a new client here and will not be back. I do not recommend if you’re looking for a new nail salon.

I went in for a manicure and pedicure. I did not have sandals so I got their cheapie ones which I am thankful for since I was wearing boots and didnt want to mess up my color. One of my sandals broke and instead of giving me a new pair she stapled it, the receptionist, 3 times. Really in Newport you cant afford to give me a new pair? In the end I didnt get home before they broke again and I had to put on my shoes and did mess up my color. Bummed ☹️

I give 2 stars because they were nice. However I told the ladies I dont get threaded or waxed because I am sensitive to it, especially my lips. She insisted that she had something to use on my face to ensure I would not break out afterwards. Well sure enough I broke out severely my face looks horrible and my lip was swollen. Good thing it was my last day of vacation. 😥

Gel manicure peeled off within less than one week. Appt was made for gel mani & pedi, however when I arrived, they could only accommodate the gel mani. The repetitive video steam of the same 2 videos they play throughout the salon became annoying after running for the hour or so I was there...
