Massage Envy

I feel disappointed. I had a massage appointment and had to cancel when I got there. I had 2 of my teenage daughters and was told they couldnt wait in the waiting area. In a previous appointment, one of my daughters went with me and I wasnt told anything.

Ive had an amazing experience with the north aurora location ! I had Rayna and she is really great !

Just yes go to this place ask for Cody or Brooke andyou will be in heaven. Cody does more deep tissue to get all the kinks and knots out and Brooke delivers a soothing massage 2 best people there

Beverly is absolutely amazing! I had a bunch of questions and she answered all of them before signing up for my membership. Katie is also fantastic! She gives the best massages and makes you super comfortable. Thanks ladies!

Im reluctant to share how amazing Mariah is because I dont want it to become harder to schedule with her 😆🙈 But she is truly outstanding at what she does!Before Mariah I thought deep pressure was the only way to cut through the amount of tension I have that causes my migraines. That wasnt always the most comfortable or relaxing experience. Mariah is focused and intentional with her approach, and does not need to use deep uncomfortable pressure to give me relief. She also puts me to sleep every time - so I get the best of both with her, relief and relaxation.Im super grateful for her 💜

My first Experience ever having A Deep Tissue Massage from Envy By Misogynist Denise, Denise hands 🙌🏾 Work out lot stress and tension throughout my whole body. She communicated effectively what she felt as she was working out the kinks in every area, even Sharing with me a few home Exercises to help stretch my chest and shoulder areas. Brooke is the most Incresible therapist there is! I go to her twice a month to keep my MS symptoms and migraines at bay. She does exactly what my body needs at that moment and does exactly what I ask if there is a problem area at the time. She has been the most professional therapist I have met in years. I am so grateful I met her!Also, yesterday the young gentleman at the front desk was superb! Very professional and helpful with my gift cards as well. Great job, I’m sorry but I don’t know his name. I was there from 3-4pm on 11/18/22.

The atmosphere was very calming and relaxing. The front desk associates were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I booked a 90 minute hot stone massage and that was wonderful. My only issue is that the massage started late and stopped early, 12 minutes was cut out of the 90 minutes, which was disappointing. Had that not been the case this review wouldve easily been 5 stars.

Massage Therapist Cody is fantastic. I highly recommend booking with him! Great experiences! You can book online, or over the phone. Checking in process is primarily smooth! I make sure to book next appointment at check out to ensure I can get an available time slot!

Denise was wonderful! I had done some yard work and worked all weekend so I was in dire need of a massage. I was a few minutes late (I did call) and the receptionist was very understanding and friendly when I arrived. Denise was waiting for me and got me in the room right away to get started. I felt so relaxed and refreshed when I was done. It was nice not being rushed out even though I was the last appointment of the day before closing. I will be going back to Denise soon.

Always a positive experience. Laura is an excellent massage therapist! Ive been going to her for years, so she knows my needs. Ive had massages with other therapists at this location too, which have also been great. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Since I get a massage every 3-4 weeks, the monthly membership is worth it for me. I actually save money.

Janet did my prenatal massage and it was such a relaxing experience. She made me feel comfortable and was so calming throughout the whole session. Definitely can’t wait to book another!

10/2021 I received a massage from Laura and wowzers......she got into all those nasty knots and voila they disappeared (not magical she had her work cut out for her). I felt 100% better after the massage and Jessica in the reception area is great, very friendly and knows her stuff 😉.9/2021 Regina is great, she went deep into the areas where I needed relief. I will definitely return and recommend! Front desk was great, greeted me and was very polite and attentive!

I’ve never had a stretch session like this before! It was like I was having physical therapy! Brooke did a great job of explaining each stretch and showed me exactly how to do it. Her massage was great too! The only negative is that she told me I should come back in 4 or 5 days to stretch again so I would’ve loose the gains we made but there was no opening for anyone to give me stretch for 2 weeks!

Julia did a great job. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars, the ‘60 minute’ massage is actually a 45 minute massage. I filled out paperwork prior and Covid questionnaire prior. Then had to fill out similar questionnaire, then sat for a few minutes. Massage started at 2:10!and ended at 2:55. But the massage was very good.

Lauren was amazing! Was totally nervous because this was my first facial and massage, but definitely not nervous anymore! For sure would book with her again!I believe the front desk assocs name was Judith.. either way, she was very nice and attentive.

I have had nothing but great experiences at this location. The front desk staff here is always friendly, fast, and amazing. The ladies always seem to be in a good mood. All of the massage therapists are amazing. I have never had a bad massage here. They are all very professional and courteous. There are a variety of massage options (different pressures, aromatherapy, etc.).Now, I had to give 3 stars, but thats not to take away from this location and the folks who work here, as there is nothing negative to be said. The corporate policies for Massage Envy are the downfall. I do not recommend getting a membership unless you are absolutely sure you can keep up with your monthly massages. If you get behind, they do not offer reasonable means to catch up and you just end up throwing money out the window. I have been a long time member and just recently cancelled my membership due to this. They also make it quite difficult to cancel. I highly recommend coming here for one off massages, but dont sign on that dotted line!

I have been a member here for over a year! I thoroughly enjoy my experience each and every time I go in for a massage. Cody is an amazing masseuse and finds tension in areas I didn’t realize was there. I always leave completely relaxed and looking forward to my next visit! I highly recommend Massage Envy in North Aurora!

Walking in makes you feel instantly peaceful. They have done great with safety protocols. Every massage I have with Alissa is amazing. She is wonderful and completely responsive to your condition at each visit. Edited 2/8: Ivette is WONDERFUL. I highly recommend scheduling with her. Super responsive and very skilled.

Cody is an incredible masseur, I highly recommend him. He listens to understand and works with you to help you meet your goals. My massages by him are an excellent complement to the cycling and yoga I do. Since going to Cody I’ve had relief of chronic pain in my left hip and lower back from an old injury. Also, the front desk staff are always friendly and efficient and the facility is clean and relaxing.

Front desk was AMAZING!! unfortunately, my massage was a little weird. I had Janet and felt like she was falling asleep at moments? Very very odd but some parts were barely even a massage and seemed like she was waking up in between moments or skipped parts. I know I should have mentioned it to front desk at the time, but was confused and felt uncomfortable. I would try again with someone else but my experience wAs odd.

The staff at the North Aurora location are great. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful, and contribute to a great overall experience. Mariah is the therapist I see, and she is so friendly and great at personalizing the massage to what her clients need. I have never had a negative experience at this Massage Envy.

I have always had a wonderful experience at every Massage Envy but the North Aurora one is closet to my home. Mariah is my favorite massage therapist and she is just amazing. I highly recommend Massage Envy for facials as well. Im very happy with all their services.

My massage was absolutely wonderful. My masseuse did massage my head and face (it was not a facial!), which I had been needing badly. Very happy with their service!

Brenda did a wonderful job! I often have trouble finding someone to be firm enough with massage pressure, but she was amazing. She really worked out a lot of what was painful for me and I feel much better today.

I had a really nice massage and Kathleen was very kind.I hoped to have some main trigger points worked on to help other areas I had complained and brought up. Today I feel better, but feel like those missed areas were key to my everyday pain.

My therapist Janet, literally fell asleep during my massage. I thought she was having an episode, I was worried. I kept watching her( I was on my back for a neck massage at the end). She was nodding off, it really was a terrible situation. I couldnt believe what I was experiencing, very shocking! I have been a member for a couple of years now. I told the front desk and they comped my treatment. So today I went back and my therapist Ivette was great! Overall, I like the care I get, they are always friendly and apparently willing to work with you.

Alissa is wonderful! I have seen her twice now and will continue to do so. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. She listened to my concerns and hit all the right places to help relieve some tightness. I feel so much better after seeing her. She really knows what she is doing!

Ive been getting massages almost monthly for 3 years, Ive only been able to get massaged by Mariah twice and both of those massages are tied for 1st for the best massage Ive received. Mariah is focused, sweet, and gives the best scalp massages. Id gladly pay extra for her to be my masseuse every time

3.5. Massage was pretty good, but I paid attention to the clock and was cut short by 10 mins out of my 60 minute massage. The woman doing the massage does a good job, but could be friendlier. The prices are very very expensive and I won’t likely keep going due to that

Too many cancellations by therapists. You have to schedule weeks out to get a reasonable time only to have it cancelled. Massages are good otherwise.

Had a great experience. My therapist was Lorena and she was AMAZING. I dont get to have a massage very often but when I do I want it to be really worth it and it was. The facility is clean and looks newer. The bathroom was clean (always BIG with me). Parking wasnt a problem - although I went on a Monday so cant comment on what it might be like on a busier day.

I had Laura for my massage and she was fantastic! I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery and she was very accommodating to some of my limited movement. She also quickly found the troubled areas and focused on them to work those muscles out! I highly recommend Laura for anyone that is needing a good relaxing massage and a little extra TLC in specialized areas!

Stephanie has extensive anatomy knowledge that allows her to track down the source of any of my aches and pains. She’s worked on my rotator cuff expertly and given great stretching and maintenance advice. I’m so grateful to be able to go to her for treatment.

This locations sucks. most of the staff is pretty nice and helpful including the A.M. the manager doesn’t return calls. There is one front desk receptionist that doesn’t know how to answer questions . She interrupts, won’t give any info you might ask, then you asked for the manager or someone that’s not rude af and she refuses. Asked for the district manager , can’t have that either. Last week she claimed no manager was available and i come in, and managers standing right there. She claimed she’s trained but the assistant said she’s new . Clearly no one has talked to her. Customer service is not her specialty. Probably why she’s not doing the job she went to school for

The staff is friendly and so helpful. Ive always seen Alissa, she is an excellent massage therapist! Itzel is so informative with the facials Ive recieved. My skin always feels so refreshed and soft, after a facial and you can really tell Itzel knows her stuff!

Regina is great!! I came out of my massage feeling a lot less tense and super relaxed. Will absolutely be booking with her again!

Had another amazing massage with Julia! I suffer from plantar fascitis and I can walk without pain after she worked on my foot. The front desk ladies are professional. Emily is very informative on product knowledge and membership details. Great experience!

Coty was the second person that Ive tried at this location and he was pretty good so Im trying him out one more time to see if he is the one! He didnt get all five due to him not massage my feet at all until he did the foot treatment and it wasnt the best so next time I hope he knock it out the park.

Highly recommend North Aurora location! From the front desk staff to Julia my massage therapist they were all so friendly and welcoming! Julia did a great job I will definitely be back!!

I have come here 6 times and the massages have been good but not great. However, if you are looking for a really thorough deep tissue massage, I would highly recommend Sidney. Albeit a slightly painful experience, Sidney was able to target all of the trigger points in my legs, back, and neck. As a runner, she completely restored my mobility. I plan to request Sidney exclusively for all future appointments!

Love that they have a separate waiting area where they give you a warm neck wrap before you go in for your massage. My masseuse did a great job and checked in to make sure the pressure was good. The only downside was that she only massaged my head for about 10 seconds.

From scheduling my appointment with Jessica, through completing a Great massage with Julia, my experience was amazing! These two go above snd beyond to ensure a great experience every session: I’d highly recommend this location because of them!

The massage therapist did a great job finding my most problematic areas, and loosened my stubborn muscles. Their new membership rates/agreement is very reasonable. Will be coming here at least once a month, and I encourage others to as well! Staff is also friendly, they make you feel at home.

Mariah is great-shes the main reason I always come back! I have referred her to many of my friends and family and the ones who go always agree with me! I like Mariah because she is able to get my trouble spots with the right pressure and I always leave being relaxed and pain-free. Im not sure on what pressure she uses, I just know she gets it right everytime. The overall facility is nice, clean, and relaxing. The encounters with the front desk staff have always been nice and inviting as well.

Cody is amazing!My lower back has been hurting since I fell a few weeks ago in the snow, my legs and feet, and my shoulders were all tight from walking and sitting at work.Cody knows his work and how to make your muscles respond where they hurt so you can heal. If it weren’t for Cody I wouldn’t be able to keep moving normal.

Christina did an absolute fabulous job with my massage!! She applied just the right amount of pressure to work out those troublesome spots. For sure will be going back there. Thank you again Christina

Julia is a powerhouse! Knows exactly what needs to be done to stretch a d relieve muscle tension. Fantastic service all around from check-in to leaving. As an Oncology Exercise Specialist, I workout several times a day, 4-6 days per week, so my body needs the expertise to keep me limber. I highly recommend this location.

I never had a massage before the one I had here last month. I loved it, wasnt uncomfortable at all. Everyone I dealt with were extremely professional and kind. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good first experience or monthly treat. 10/10.

I always enjoy getting a facial done with Anabel because she is good at it and I feel like she goes above and beyond the call of duty. Your receptionist Natalie is a sweetheart, she makes me feel welcome, great communication skills and on top of it shes got an Angels face.

The massage was great although I went to pay and I was told I could use the bonus cards that came with my gift cards. The employee used my gift cards for the purchase and gave the other cards back telling me to use them a different time. The problem is that they expire. I was told it can’t be fixed and my cards were kept so it could be fixed by the manager. I’m waiting for the manager to call.

Joey is the absolute best therapist! He customizes each session according to your needs. Each experience is tailored and he is a pro at restoring health and balance!

We have couples massage every two weeks with Kathleen and Cody and they’re both absolutely fantastic! The environment is quiet and relaxing. Very professionalThank you both for all you do!

Had a great massgage with Lauren! The ladies at the front desk offered me a tea and a place to wait. Lauren was just amazing. I have problems with stiffness in my neck and shoulders from stress and working on a computer and she did a great job of stretching me out.My husband recommended different a different masseuse who already had someone booked at thev time I wanted so I was hoping for the best - and I got it. I recommended my husband try Lauren before he tries his masseuse again.The location was clean. It seems new.

During my massage, my therapist Janet sat in an office chair the entire time. She kept stopping, and when I would look up her eyes were closed and she would be sleeping! This happened multiple times during my 120 minute ordeal. Normally Im not one to complain but this was the most bizarre experience Ive ever had. 2 hour massages are expensive, and this is what I got.

I am a member of Massage Envy, and I was trying this location out for the first time. I called last week (Friday) to schedule an appointment for Wednesday at 4:30. It was scheduled with no problem. On Sunday, I received a call that the massage therapist would only see me on the hour, as if she saw me on the ½ hour, she wouldn’t be able to have another client. I was asked to change my appointment time, which does not work for my schedule. So, my appointment was cancelled. Very disappointed with the scheduling team and therapist.

This is the place I go to every two weeks. sometimes scheduling gets mixed up. Deidra, is just the best! Got the scheduling issue all straight, she always does. Eileen she is the best. I give her honey, so mention the honey guy when you schedule with her! All of the girls are just great there!

Great Massage, only issue I had was at the front desk. The receptionist miss heard my tip amount and with everything being done electronically/paperless I didn’t realize until I received the emailed receipt. It’s so hard to hear people with masks on. I wish they could show you the details of your receipt on their iPads while checking out.

I recommend going to the North Aurora location. I highly recommend Cody. Great for deep tissue massages. He takes his time with his patients and is very professional and overall a very Pleasant Individual.

One of the worst massages I’ve ever had. Massage therapist didn’t introduce herself. It felt like she was as falling asleep during the massage she was going so slow, I actually thought it was a joke at first.Front desk was professional and very nice.

Denise is absolutely phenomenal. She has such a healing presence and I feel relaxed and much less sore after a session with her. She’s amazing.

My boyfriend and I went here to get first time massages. We got the deep tissue massage. They asked us what issues we were having, and I said my lower back so the massage therapist made sure to target that area more. After the massage, it felt a little better even though I thought it would help with all of my pain. The therapist gave me suggestions on how to sleep better to make my lower back pain better and it helped. They payed attention to my needs so I would go back again.

I booked a full-body massage for my husband as a surprise with Mariah C. at the North Aurora location. When he was all done, I was really disappointed to find out Mariah failed to complete a full body massage. When she stepped out of the room she told my husband “keep your shorts on, I won’t be doing your calves or legs, today.” Very disappointed in this experience with massage envy. Also very disappointed when the manager called and justified the therapist and had no resolution to offer, she instead made it seem as if I needed something from them, when it’s their therapist who failed to provide a service.

My mom was coming from out of town for a couples massage with me, and they called me two hours before our appointment to say that there was a scheduling conflict with one of our massage therapists and they were not able to accommodate us. Very unreliable, and unbelievable that they didnt know of the conflict until two hours before the scheduled appointment.

This place is awful they charge you for a full 60 minutes but you actually only get 50 minutes and because they took 10 minutes to check me in it took time off of my massage. They end up charging me a full 60 Minutes even though I only got a 35 minute massage. I would never recommend this massage place to anyone

Itzel was amazing, she explained what products she used & what would be best for my skin. The best facial I have ever had. Definitely worth the trip.

I came here for a facial to try it out and decide if I wanted to become a member, since my regular esthetician moved out of state. Front desk advised me it would be 115.00 (non member) for 60 minutes.I have to say it was by far the worst facial I ever experienced. The esthetician, whom I believe her name was Anabel, since there was no introduction, seemed to be in a hurry, my appt was at 6:45 pm. She finished at 7:33 pm ( what happened to 60 mins). It was rushed, and I dont know what kind of customized facial she gave me, since she never explained the process while doing my facial. I will def not become a member after that.

Overall great customer service .I paid for 60 minute massage and only got 50 minutes the least even though I got there 15 minutes early .

Mariah B. Is an amazing MT. She listens and identifies what I need. I always leave feeling relief from physical pain.She is the best after 30 years of experiencing therapists in 3 different states.

The worst 😫 it was so unpleasant. I felt like it was her first time and she didnt practice on her coworkers before starting. This was my second time at this location and the second person that Im not happy with at all. So I would give it one last try before I head back to my old location.

I love my therapist Lauren so much! She understands my trouble areas and adapts her therapy to fit what I need at the time. I highly recommend her!!

Julia is wonderful. My 11/2 hour massage is so amazing. She always listens to my requests and is so very kind.

First time I had an appointment scheduled and they called day of to say they needed to reschedule due to a therapist having called in. when I stated I didnt know when I would be able to reschedule due to having a hectic schedule, I got one apology. Ive been in the industry long enough to know that this is the time that offering a discount or an add-on, goes a long way. dont think Ill be back.

While every massage therapist there is awesome, the company itself looks to nickel-and-dime you for everything it can. Their policies are unethical and the company as a whole cares more about itself than its consumers.
