Got jumped here outside of the club on a 6v2 they didn’t wanna run me a friendly 1 on 1 fade but f it we got our squabbles in. The club was cool too good vibes and good music. Would go again👍

Super ghetto trashy bar trying to be a club. Total sewer and that’s how they like it. The security guards let anything happen there. Music is absolutely mid at best. Avoid if you’re not a scumbag

Had a horrible experience with one of the security guards and management here. They really need to work on solving problems in a more educated and rational matter.

Came here with my wife on Sunday because they have Latin Sundays and we liked this place! 👍 👌 The DJs were playing really good music 🎶 to keep the crowd dancing nonstop. The cocktails 🍸🍹were good. The vibe of the place was great with friendly staff. Well be coming to this place on Sundays and will have to check out the other nights. I do want to come to ther Reggae Thursdays, sure will be like on our visit on Sunday!

Its cool place but a little crowded. Not happy that they overcharged both mine and my girlfriends card. They added more money to the tip then what we left.

Band I work with were playing there so hard to comment as a straightforward customer but.....I found the staff friendly and helpful. I spoke to several people inside the bar and all were friendly and willing to chat. Our singer had his birthday on the night we were there and the staff took the cake from me and stored it in the fridge.Hard to comment on prices, but they seemed reasonable and average for the area. The sound from the band was good when we played and the atmosphere was nice. All in all, a great night out.

Couldnt even get in because the bouncer denied my friends brazilian Drivers license. How are people from out of the country allowed to get in? 5 other bars on the strip accepted it. Ridiculous.

Was turned away at the door because my Canadian drivers ID was considered foreign, which I find strange because many clubs accept that, infact they can even scan it to know its real. I think it is important to post on your website that you dont accept IDS that are not from the US before people drive all the way to your club. ( It was quite apparent that I was not underage to enter the club ..I wonder if the ID was the real reason...I guess will never know)

Bouncers out front are very rude and invasive. Made fun of our friend for being Canadian; went through my other friend’s purse, pulled out her deodorant and asked “what’s this?”Will never bring my business to this intolerant place again.

Skinnys isnt a bad spot in NoHo, but as the name suggests, its skinny. Arrive early if you want room to dance, it fills up pretty quickly. The dance floor can get slippery from spilled beverages, so keep your footing stable. The only hard part is the cover, which is cash only, and since most NoHo does not give cash back anymore that becomes a quest in itself. Get money before you go!

This place is great. Well made drinks cool staff affordable and live entertainment. My only knock would be parking but early enough you can find something and later also. Best to go with a couple friends.Cheers to Rawk night and Scum for throwing a heck of a party!

This was a cool lil spot. The hubs and I visited on Sat. Thanks Again and shout out to the gentleman at the door. We didnt have any cash on us and realized that the only form of payments we could transact were tap and pay from my hubs phone. They did have that and we were going to just leave, but the Sir at the door told us to go in and have a great time. That is what we did too...as soon as we walked in it was straight to the dance floor until DJ Saif this is the last song!!!!!We did get any drinks due to no access to cash...but it was needed because the vibe was energetic and the DJ w as the Shiiiizzzzle! Well definitely be back...and with cash and physical cards next time.

Ive been there twice already and it was pretty much the same thing. Nice local acts performing, both times it was metal and both times they were pretty good musicians. Bar services was a little slow and careless but what would you expect at s metal bar. Price of beer was ok tho. They dont really have a green room, its more like a green patio that I dont know how helpful it might be in rainy days. Sound is decent and the audio guy takes good care of it. Stage is decent size for a regular 5 musician lineup, any more than that starts getting tight. I like that its not too high up and it gets easy for performers to interact with the crowd. The crowd by the way was pretty nice and energetic both days and not many drunken metal heads, although I actually left ki d of early both days so maybe later is different.

Not gonna lie, it was a fun lounge overall.I have little complains, only the venue was a bit hot and packed but then again thats what we all go there for. The drinks were bomb and the Dancing was on point and the casual dress code leaves lots of room for creativity which is something I really do appreciate. Will most definitely return for Sunday when they play cumbias and Latin music

Live dj,small dance floor, lots of spots to sit but it gets packed fast. Good drinks. If you go in a big party discount on the entry fee and on the VIP sitting area. No too bad wait on drinks. Everyone has a good time. Lots of hip hop, oldies, 80s and random music. Didnt see much on appetizers but thats okay with me. Still a good night.

Aug 24th We met dress code attire. We were turned away very unprofessionally wouldnt recommend this place... rent a cop at the front was very rude we left because we dont want any problems.. but yes we were DISCRIMINATED I am a tattoo artist with a few friends that were with me also tattooed and we couldnt get in because of our tattoos.... Nowhere in the dress code said anything about tattoos never have we been humiliated for this .m...wish the manager was there BUT APPARENTLY WAS NOT. WE JUST WANTED A LITTLE BIT OF FUN AFTER WORK BUT ITS OKAY WE WENT TO ANOTHER PLACE with NO Discrimination

Back when I use to drive I would love coming to Skinnys every Wednesday for Rock-A-Holic live band Karaoke, and my drive was 45min. I met a lot of really good people and made new friends. Great place to enjoy a jack n coke, or 8. I dont think I ever left this place sober lol. The place just has a good vibe. If you go this night it might seem a bit intimidating at first but everyone is cool. If you play an instrument you can even join the band for a song or two. Great place! No other place like it.

The 2 guards at the door were extremely rude and told a group of 16 of us to leave because one of the people in our party had a hat on. Never coming back to this awful place.Response: I do understand that there is a dress code and we were more than willing to comply with that so I can assure you that there is no misunderstanding here. We were never given the option to leave the hat elsewhere or even throw it away. One of your guards stepped up to a member of the group and stated and I quote, You guys can go to another bar then. This was completely disrespectful and there was no need for them to treat us the way they did.

This club is what you make of it. If you like the artist performing you will have a great time. My friend DJs here occasionally and we had bottle service so I was well taken care of. The Venue is in a historic building but the sound system, lights and DJ booth have all been renovated to suit the modern times. That being said, it is a huge venue that does not utilize its space well. I only go to this club if someone I know is performing. I have yet to try other clubs in the city but Ill keep coming back if they have good artists.

Good music and alot of bar seating. Dance floor is small and awkward because it has bench seats on one side so you are dancing next to seated people facing you. Music changes nightly so check the schedule. No cover charge before 9. Diverse crowd.

Went to jamrock Thursdays, (reggae night) music was great! We had soo much fun, Atmosphere was nice. The Crowd was sparse, but very diverse! i think This is a new thing here. But Ill be coming back for all the vibes!! 4 stars because theres no smoking area.

Had my birthday celebration here on a friday. My friends and I found our new hot spot for dancing!! I’m glad to know that we dont have to drive to WEHO for a nice club. Staff are awesome, bartenders are very welcoming, even one of their bouncers checked on one of the girls to make sure she’s okay! Thanks Skinny for the wonderful night! We’ll surely come back again!.x

Amazing place! This place have incredible vine with great cocktails, sugar, huge selection of rum and unforgettable fillings like you are on Cuba! I will recommend to make a reservation in a week ahead!

Dont even bother here. Save your money and go to the Federal across the street.Theyll either kick you or for being to loud or not let you in forGang Attire. Trash location the few times Ive been in and then when they didnt let my White friends in for wearing flannels because its considered gang attire. Drinks are way over priced and theres never any space to dance.

First time there, very impressesed with door guy, very professional, who helped us find a table, waitress very nice, bar tender came over too. This is now going to be me and my wifes favorite relax and drinks place. The margaritas were supper delocious. This is by far the only real nice place for couples and singles too. The music was so awsome. This place is a 5 star when it comes to ambionce, drinks and customer service.

Came here for Afrobeatz night on Wednesday small crowd but we had such an amazing time! Dj was great, we wanted more Carribean vibes but I assume he wanted to cater to Spanish n hip hop vibes which I love too but we just wanted more soca but other than that Danny I think the bartenders name was he was a great bartender very flair, I’m a bartender so I appreciated it greatly, drinks were strong n nice n prompt service n kind bouncer too! I’ll def be back!

Lots of couches. Solid dance floor. Appropriately moody lighting. Solid place. Well drinks are strong and tasty. $9, not bad for this area. DO NOT get the Long Island Ice Tea; its a premix and its rather weak. $11 for not much.

** Added after Response from Owner***If there was 0 stars i would give 0 stars worst place to ever go to was sitting at a table and the bartender came up to us and said sorry this table is reserved without having the RESERVED SIGN. Drunk unfriendly people no security...BEWARE NOT A SAFE PLACE TO GO!!!Like I said no Reserved sign on the table (the signs are pretty noticeable) and one of your male guests was making threats at one of my friends while we were dancing. As he was saying things he was putting his hands in his pockets like he was about to pull something out. The guards were outside we seen them when we were walking out taking our business elsewhere. First time we go to Skinnys and last time. After the shooting in a club in the Valley a couple of weeks ago my friends and I are staying away from places like these.

This place is a toss up for sure each time Ive been here the atmosphere was different. Great😁, Good😊, Ehh😏 & Why do I keep returning 😔 lol The drinks are pricey, bathrooms are filthy, DJ was horrible 1x, The bouncer wouldnt let my hubby in w/his hat so he took it off; not even going 2feet pass curtain 3 guys wearing baseball caps. Great bartender/staff and amazing drinks. The music and dance area is off the charts fun, with music from all across the globe so noone feels left out. Will be going back soon. Thank you Skinnys. 😘👏🔥

Almost a touch divey, but otherwise swank and alluring, Skinnys is a chill spot to spend some time for entertainment and drinks. There is a certain respect for craft beer so you should be quite content if youre brew of choice is more sophisticated than the usual domestics. The burlesque show I caught was both funny and sensual - a good mix for eclectic crowds and expectations. The quarters are a bit close, but given the atmosphere and entertainment schedule, its perfect for the venue. Layout with the bar around the corner from the main room/stage actually works well to create a micro climate for those just wanting to focus on taste buds rather than optical input. Still, you can catch the action with video feed of the stage to mounted screens by the bar.

Let me describe Skinnys like this, a lot of clubs in LA are like snobby girls that make you feel like youre not worthy to be in their presence. Skinnys is that girl next door who knows how to have a good time and make you feel good, real good! The DJ is fire, Bartenders are cool AF, even the security guards were cool. Go out of your way to go here, youll be glad you did.

Be very careful getting drinks from the bar. One of them spiked my drink and my friends drink. We both had to go to the hospital because of this and we only had a drink which came directly from the bar. I also found that they charged my card more than what I bought from them. Very sketchy and unfriendly. Don’t recommend coming here. Be safe my friends.

I love skinnys but only on Wednesday metal nights! Live band karaoke, awesome live bands, great drinks (reasonably priced), awesome people and just good times! Always have my bday here too! Its become my version of Cheers!

Crappy service, unorganized staffed, and overall uneducated staff. My suggestions would be to hire more people to handle the work load, understand the orders coming in, and to delicate staff to the more demanding areas rather than having one person under the mercy of 50+ clients barking orders at them. They do their best, but at the end of the day it means nothing, if that are overwhelmed by clients.

The bar is gr8! the place is gr8! The crowd is gr8!Only thing is Tbh I wish the music was more top 40/hip hop & club than how much latin music & reggaeton i heard...Oh i was there on a Friday night. Ill hopefully get to change my review after a few more visits cause ill def b back. Theres a good Vibe here.

Not a really good place to go clubbing. The DJ sucked and the dance floor is small to dance on. The only good thing about Skinnys Lounge is the bar they had. The drinks were great.

I love Skinnys! I lived around the the corner and they eventually gave me a special locals card which allowed me to skip the line and not pay cover whenever I went. The clientele is interesting and my favorite time to go is during the when less people are there.

Crowded. Noisy. They advertise themselves as a chill lounge but theyre anything but. Its clean, though, and smells okay.

Couldnt even get in. I was at the door with my friend who has brain cancer. They wouldnt let him in with a hat on. He needs the had because of his recent surgery. Then a guy bumped into me and was rude and belligerent. I have lived here for over 10 years and have never been talked to so coldly and rudely to. We all need to be kind to one another. Great place to go for drinks & music. Very well kept lounge. Drink prices are fair. Bathrooms are clean. Very nice place for a date night. Or boy/ girls night out. Just get there early to get a parking spot.

A cool place in noho to come and get your groove on. Always spinning the best music, great vibes and amazing staff and bartenders. You can always have a good time here!

This place truly is horrible. The so called bouncers are rude. Especially the little one. They have a ridiculous dress code. I ended up going to tiki no and had an amazing time.

Would love to write about the experience, but apparently theres a no flannel rule...honestly a bit streotypical of them..so I will never be able to attend this palace because my closest has endless amount of flannels and different kinds too. All dressed up and no skinnys

Dont go there unless you are looking for drugs and over priced drinks. Was accused of making threats to the druggies there after they threatened me because I wouldnt buy their drugs. Drug of choice there COCAINE. The K.J. will announce that over the P.A. Syestem if you hang out on Wednesday nights. Worse than a dive bar. A litteral drug den. Plus if you dont like musicians with SUPER EGO COMPLEX, then this is totally not the place for you. If you go there watch out. My friend has lost a wallet there ( never to be found) and I might have to go to court over defending my self with words kinda ironic @ a karaoke bar dont yah think!??!

You have to come in early to reserve a table or seat , it gets crowded. I’m glad we found this little gem in NOHO. We came on a Saturday and we loved the place and the music they r playing.

The atmosphere is awesome. Great place to dance and have a drink. The only thing that would make it better is if the entry was free.

I ve been going to Skinnys for years. Always a great atmosphere there. A must go to place if your are in the area for drinks.

Is a small peace to hang out for a birthday or other special occasion. You can reserve small rooms of tables. Lots of fun, a variety of music for everyone.

Wednesday are theeee BEST night to come here! Live metal karaoke!!! Live band!! If you play an instrument, go on up and play with the band!! I love this place!!!

For a place that isnt exactly a 5-star establishment, they got some weird dress-codes. No khakis or cargos allowed.

Great atmosphere and people. If they had Bloody Marys they would get five stars rather then four.

If you want to dance like no one is watching to hip hop, rap and some salsa you will not be dissapointed.
