Got lucky and booked a massage for the next day while visiting town. Service was prompt and professional. I had the 1st appt when they opened and was concerned it would cut into my massage time. I was assured it would not and they were right! Very punctual and kind. I got a 1hr massage and at the end was given a breakdown of which muscles were tense and what side I carried my tension on. Hands down a great massage.
This place is terrible. I bought a gift card for my wife months ago. Months to get ANY appointment, which was cancelled. Months to get rescheduled for the next appointment, which is now having to be rescheduled. I’d spend your money on anything… you’d get more relaxation burning the cash for heat than dealing with this place.After leaving this review, Message Envy responded to the review to contact them through their online portal. My wife has already contacted the site by phone. Why would an online portal provide a different outcome? By asking me to respond through your portal, your generic response (personal or bot???) only hopes that I won’t respond and you can continue your subpar service.
I had an appointment scheduled September 1st at 3:00 pm. Upon arrival I was told my appointment was cancelled because my masseuse was sick. I asked why no one contacted me before I drove all the way there and the response was “it just happened”. I was then offered to be contacted when they found another date where they could fit me in. It has now been almost three weeks and I have not received a single call. I have also called and emailed Massage Envy on NUMEROUS occasions and still have not been contacted at all. My spouse spent $100 on a gift card for me that is completely useless. This has been BY FAR the most unprofessional experience I’ve had with a company in the last 5-10 years. I can assure you based on how they handled the entire situation, that this is a very common occurrence for them. Literally choose anywhere else to go.Edit - After Massage Envy messaged below to get my issue resolved, nothing came of it. They could not refund the gift card purchase even after the company themselves cancelled my appointment literally last minute as I was already in the building. Imagine a place designed to make you happy and relaxed having a 3.5 rating on Google. Save your time and go just about anywhere else.
After having a 90 min massage booked weeks in advance, they call to tell me I am only getting 60 min massage (like that’s how it’s gonna be) because they misbooked me. It wasn’t my fault they didn’t schedule me correctly. I was told if I wanted my 90 min massage it would be another month to wait. Decided to have them remove me from their schedule all together since I got no apology.The last time I got a massage there, they shorted me 20 min because the therapist was late. Again, not my fault. I’m done there.
I would not recommend signing a contract for a membership. It is too difficult to get an appointment. The schedule goes out 6 weeks and is full to the last day. Online scheduling is available but not all providers release their appointments for anyone. It takes way too much effort to get an appointment monthly to use a membership. I prefer 90 minute massages but only can get booked for 60 minutes. Over the last year many staff have left this location.
Received a $70 gift card for a massage for my birthday. When I called to book an appointment and redeem the gift card they said they didnt have any openings for at least 2 months and dont book further out than that. I asked them why they would sell gift cards knowing the people couldnt redeem them. Response: Sorry about that. Then asked them to refund the purchase to the people that bought it. Sorry, no refunds on gift cards. This place has got issues and I would stay far away from it. They have no resolutions to offer so basically its a complete scam.
I have been a member of massage envy for about three years and have gone to multiple locations around the United States, but this location has really surprised me. They continually cancel my appointments, don’t bother to rebook me and when I tried to talk to them about my frustrations the woman on phone didn’t care and emailed me member cancellation paperwork because she didn’t want to have to deal with a simple problem. One would think they would at least try to keep their members. It’s as if they want to go out of business.UpdateThis massage envy is completely erratic, has no continuity between appointments, and minus a couple people, the front desk is ‘difficult’ to say the least. I haven’t had any trouble from the therapists but the front is severely lacking in customer service.
Do not go there. I have joined their membership for over an year, and every month is a struggle to get an appointment. No, Im not talking about scheduling on the spot on the same day. I am talking about trying to schedule it at least a week ahead. So I have to ask, what is the point of giving them money in advance, when you cannot get your service? You ask, are they that popular? NO. Numerous massage therapists have left them (I have personally known three that have left - all good ones), and they are trying to get new clients, not servicing existing ones. If you want 1 hour massage you had better book and pay for one and half hour, before their policy is ten to fifteen minutes on you to dress and undress, at EACH end. Oh by the way, they can and do cancel your appointment at the last moment, but you had better keep your appointment, or pay up, if you try to cancel your appointment for any reason.When I am finally fed up trying to schedule numerous times, I decided enough is enough, and tried to cancel my membership. No, they told me I have to be there to get it cancelled, even though I told them I had no time to drive up to their offices just to cancel it. And if need be, they need to get their manager to call me to arrange for the details. The recipient hung me up.You can get better service elsewhere.
I signed up for a membership when they opened a few years ago. It was great at first. But in the last year, it has gone downhill. It is very difficult to get an appointment even a few weeks out. And now theyve called to cancel my appointment several times because the massage therapist changed their work schedule. How about keeping the existing appointments and just scheduling new ones differently? My schedule is crazy, and it is very difficult to work around, so when they cancel on me, it really causes issues. The only reason Im still using them is that Ive got too many massages built up and would lose a lot of money. As soon as I can get caught up, Im canceling my membership. Dont sign a contract!!!
Wife bought me a hour massage for our anniversary.Arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, updated information and waited.Massage started approximately 5 after and ended at 13 till. Thats a 43 minute massage. No biggie Shannon did a great job.Go to check out and give the gift card for the 60 minute massage and the say ok the balance will be $10.00. I asked why was it for the tip?They couldnt tell me what it was for?Left the gift card and left, said I was going to leave a review they said good and have a nice day.I will never go back and warn others not to either.Not only thathe place was not clean it smelled like I bet you know what.
My husband bought me a gift card for Christmas. It was never sent to his email for me to obtain. He called and was asked to call corporate. It took over 2 weeks to even get ahold of anyone and finally received the card via email. I was able to call and schedule my appointment. They explained the cancellation policy as 50% of total price would be charged to my credit card for 24 hour notice of cancellation or reschedule and $100 if done day of. The day I was scheduled, 4 hours before appointment, I received a call that I had to reschedule due to therapist having to leave early. So I had to reschedule for the next week. No big deal. Once I arrived the following week, I was sitting and waiting. One of the therapist, who I later learned would be taking care of me walked to the front desk. I heard her telling the reseptionist that she was leaving. She was told, no you have an appointment at 6pm. She’s new and had to reschedule last week with you. The therapist then said , that sucks I really want to go. Finally she called me back. She started the massage 10 min after. During the massage I could hear her continuing to yawn loudly, as if she didn’t care to be there. At the end, I noticed she had ended the 90min massage 15 min early. So basically 25 min out of my massage that I didn’t get. I gave two stars Bc at least the receptionist was friendly and clean atmosphere.

I’m only giving two stars because the young ladies at the front always look super stressed out every time I come in. You can tell they’re being overworked. It’s sad to see, but they’re always kind and so are the massage therapists.
Had a facial n full body..60 minutes.. massage. Facial was heavenly..she was the best! Im an old lady n had never had a full body massage.. especially with a guy doing it..I never felt uncomfortable and I was decently covered n tucked in the whole time! I definitely will go back and would request the same people!
I would highly recommend Massage Envy. I started a membership today and everyone was so helpful, friendly, and very professional. The facility is very clean, nice and soothing. I had no problems getting an appointment or future appointments. I had Cierra as my therapist and she did a great job. I got a membership!
I highly recommend Jonathan. I prefer deep tissue massages with a focus on upper body (back, neck and shoulders) due to tension and headaches. Jonathan is very good at relieving tension, pain and stiffness in those areas. He has a technique I will really miss now that he is in Oklahoma. I hope you will give him a try as he always did a fantastic job for me.
Fnd the therapists to be very knowledgeable and courteous. A great alternative to pharmaceuticals for muscle and joint pain relief. Would definitely suggest making an appointment about 2 weeks before you want to go because theyre always busy particularly after 5pm.
Great quality massages especially for pain relief as well as general relaxation. You can always tell them if its too much or not enough pressure. They always ask if I want cold or room temp water. Make sure you stay hydrated which is good for you anyway and anywhere you go. They always remind you of that too.
I seem to see a pattern here with other feedbacks - takes an act of God to schedule and then that they wont cancel on you! I drove all the way there to find out they tried to call but didnt have the right number. This is suppose to be a relaxing deal, beck no. I need to tell family no more gift certificates as the experience sucks...
My husband purchased a massage for me for mother’s day since I’ve never had one, the experience was great, the staff was amazing but ever since I went 2 weeks ago my back has hurt so bad, if I take too deep of breath it feels like knives stabbing me in the back. I knew I could be sore for a few days but I just feel like this much pain is abnormal.
I love my massages but the set up for the amount was not explained well. I am now stuck. It is ok but the price wasnt what I thought it was. Just was really confusing now I just have to continue to go until my membership is up

Ive been getting massages for years - at schools and at salons. I like ME. My therapist is Braulio and he is great. He really knows what to do to help me. I have Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis and I always leave feeling much better. I have been a member for a year and sometimes I have trouble making appointments and getting there but its well worth the $50 per month. As for tips, I try to tip some but I cant possibly tip what Braulio is worth. He is great.
I have never had a bad massage here. I have had different massage therapists but they have all been consistent in their excellent service. It is pricey but it is worth it!!
Went in for an hour massage. Indicated I would like a deep tissue massage. THe therapist was not effective at all. I told the staff I was not satisfied, and was totally blown off. The pressure to tip was just too much. I will never return, or reccomend them to anyone,.
What is wrong with this place. It says they open at 8:00 on Saturdays and here it is 8:30 and they are closed. I drove from Midwest Coty to the south side location for nothing. With all the recent bad reviews, I don’t foresee this place staying in business much longer!!!!

Excellent service and great experience. I have had numerous injuries and Clare sp. was able to find the trigger points and scar tissue with ease.
They keep losing massage therapists that I really come to like and I dont like that and the remaining staff is great but when you have that favored few people its just not the same.
