I have lived in Oklahoma city 4 years, and it was my first time there last week... hype place good drinks great.prices. also, first time for a fish bowl.... very good time enjoyed it so much. I will definitely visit again soon

Wish they would upgrade the place, lay a new foundation on the parkway. The drinks sneak up on you, prices are still reasonable and a good time is sure to be had. I enjoy a pre-drank before the night begins here...#pinkstarburst

Drove all the way from Tulsa to enjoy a drink and chillin for old times sake. Been knowing about the spot since 2012 back in my college days. Always great vibes. The bouncer could be a little more professional but I’ll always recommend the place if people are in the city.

Dons is an awesome place to have a great time. They have security that IDs everyone and the bartender , Kevin, is amazingly hilarious. I have a great time every time I go in for a drink , wether Im in a group or riding solo. Always a fun night.

It was about year ago… maybe things have changed.It was over ran by thugs both black and white, Hispanic.The black girls were trash talking abbot me loudly until I informed one I used to be married to a black man. All of the sudden I’m getting accepted instead of the stink eye” what the white h*e doing here” attitude. It was such a turn off experience.I don’t ever even want to try going back. regardless of your race you should be welcomed!!! isn’t that what “we” fought for. I shouldn’t be disrespected just based on the color I am or married to.I should be respected for who I am as a person and not treated by the color of my skin. Don’t let history repeat itself. What I experienced at your bar was Reverse Racism and it ran deep here!!! I didn’t even finish my one drink with my 3 friends before we build out that door. Because the customers were making us feel unwelcome or not accepted or not allowed there . Unless things have changed.

The drinks are huge (60oz), tasty and inexpensive. Its a nice little dive bar with a casual atmosphere. If youre looking for a small, chill spot with good fishbowls, this place is for you.

Finally had a chance to visit Don’s. Only to be greeted with “You gotta have a t-shirt on to come in here.” My tank top that I wore to the Thunder game isn’t allowed in this dump. A dump with a dress code and a trashy parking lot. Awesome

I love this place for its drinks, but it is a bit reaching to charge a cover for a bar that seats twenty people at a time. Somewhat silly.That being said, the margaritas are amazing. They are over 60 oz in size. Definitely bring friends if you are going here.

Are just as good as chelinos if not better in some ways

Ive been to Hawaiian Dons a few times and always enjoyed my experiences and Ive recently relocated into the okc area and have been excited about revisiting! But in all honesty i dont leave reviews or rate places ive been to, on google. Hawaiian Dons left me feeling like, idk another word but the energy the bartender had was just, EW. We did arrive a little later and assumed if it were too crowded then we wouldnt stay but it looked like there was a small area we could go on the end of the bar and i came w a group. We ordered and were trying to get situated into what we were going to order and figuring it was full we would just stand there until maybe a table became available. But the bartender seemed to handle the pressure of a full house unprofessionally and i say this because im a former bartender so im aware of how things work especially in a smaller bar. Its sad to see her attitude was on display like that and she kept claiming how she had “no shame” which is fine, free to be u, but what was the point in that? Lol and had to stop and laugh and poke a bit of fun at her attitude because that was really extra of her to act that way, knowing it takes energy to do that. Honestly that is the night life world, and maybe she had a rough day or night were human but her thing was we needed to move out of the way, which the only direction was moving into the dark corner near the back exit no tables or lights lmao then shortly after that it was were going to need this table (that was already occupied by a single woman who had been kind enough to let us keep our fishbowls on the table cause whos going to carry a huge fishbowl drink around a crowded room like that? Nobody else was) and long story short was we needed to leave to accommodate for another expected party that was going to arrive at some point. Yes its a small bar but none of that was necessary, even if it came down to bad communication between the front door security and max capacity it couldve all been avoided, i assume if i try to go again, we might need to get there by 830 cause it was only just 10pm when we got there. It is a popular place i hope my next experience will be better!

If you need a drink to make you miss your ex and existence, definitely come here. Warning though they do not care about any protocols here in this day and age were living in otherwise come here for a well priced expensive drink including their insane fish bowl. One of the gems that makes OKC unique from the rest of the country

Meet good people make new friends

I was her for a birthday celebration for a dear and close friend. It was about 12 of us in all and the night started out really great the bartender was nice and the atmosphere was going good. However I would like to point out an overly aggressive and rude security guard who approached my friend who was the Birthday girl and yelled in her face to be quite just out of nowhere. Not only did this ruin the rest of the night for her and everyone else , it was pretty scary to have some musclebound guy amped up on steroids jump up in a womans face and began yelling at her for no reason. Needless to say my friend left very upset and distraught to have ended her birthday with this kind of attack on her person and we will most likely never be attending this establishment ever again. LADIES BE ON THE ALERT FOR THE SECURITY GUARD!!!

Good drinks

Theirs a cover charge on weekends. $5 for men and $3 for women. Its a very small place. You feel like your packed like sardines. One drink is $11 and they fill the bowl so full of ice that a 60 oz bowl turns into a 20 oz. You pay the cover and find out theres no live band. Sports channel on all tv.s but no sound. I watched the guy at the door let his buddies in for free and thats not all but ill stop there. I know ill never be back.

The bartender is nice. they need better music and the security guard at the door is an idiot, he yelled at us for being too loud we had a table with about 12 people on a Monday! I will NEVER come back to this place
